Subject: I have said for decade now seniors are being murdered in Canada’s hospitals
.
So you think you may enjoy your retirement  instead of being ”  MURDERED IN HOSPITALS “
.
ESTHER 4: 13 And Mordecai told them to answer Esther: “Do not think in your heart that you will escape in the king’s palace any more than all the other Jews. 14 For if you remain completely silent at this time, relief and deliverance will arise for the Jews from another place, but you and your father’s house will perish. Yet who knows whether you have come to the kingdom for such a time as this?”
.

In Canada, especially in Ontario and Ontario, we have  a very great undeniable, false problem of neglect in the treatment of older patients in the hospital and in old age homes’
.

Upon admission to the hospital you are requested to sign a form declaring whether you wish to be revived in case of emergency, or not. This document is called a D. N. R. or Do Not Resuscitate form. They give you two choices.
.
The first choice, you are told is to accept being kept alive as a living vegetable, completely insensane.  The second you are told is to let nature take its course. Then these utterly helpful people will even sign the form for you. All nice and neat.
.

However this is the biggest song and dance act to be put over the public since Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers. What you are actually agreeing to is for the Hospital to totally neglect you or even pump you full of enough morphine to overdose a football stadium of people.
Our health care system and old age homes seems perpetuates the belief that a person who is over the age of sixty-five has somehow managed to reach their lifetime expiry date, a best before date if you will for people. And now that these old people are in the hospital using up resources and funds best reserved for younger people, now well you can’t really expect for the hospital to fix them back up, can you?
After all as far as many of the hospital staff is concerned this old person has managed somehow to have a long life already and that is enough of that now.
You really can’t be expecting the hospital staff to put themselves out and actually care for these old people, too, can you? I mean why give an older person in the hospital a blanket when you might have to wash it then, or food when that will just encourage him to stick around. And if they have anything close to a complex condition, well there is that neat little DNR now isn’t there? You don’t really have to work to fix up these people when that signature gives you an out for some very bad behavior indeed.

The problem with this whole attitude ( besides giving me nightmares of genocidal dictators) is that it completely negates the concept of ” best practice”. loving one another ,

Best practice is the long and firmly held belief that there is only ONE way to treat EVERYBODY. Not when you feel like it or just when you really want to or when someone gives you more money to behave better. Every time for everybody. Because when you start to slack or fail to preform, its just too easy to keep on giving less then your best.

If you take a gander at the rising medical malpractice deaths in hospital across the country and through the United States, you will soon realize that the concept of best practice has gone the way of the proverbial washed baby with the dirty bathwater.
.

Now Hospitals when they are being asked to put forward their best game have no best game left. Only the same sloppy seconds they choose to inflict upon older people. Not keeping sterile technique. Not caring for basic needs ( feeding washing having water and blankets for the bed available). Not being concerned about basic medical protocols.
.

For example twisting the patient while shifting them in bed even though the patient is suffering from a shattered pelvis which has not been casted ( because it is just too hard to do with those old bones, you see).
Then using drugs upon that patient which go against the  doctors and specialists orders for that patient, (because that’s the way the hospital usually does it). Such as give that broken bone patient blood thinners which absolutely stop any bone repair from being made( one of the functions of blood thinners are to stop the clotting process, bone healing is in itself a clotting process).   And then refusing to give the patient bone building vitamin supplements that the doctor has ordered under the reasoning of the staff that vitamins and minerals aren’t really a serious medicine and so it doesn’t matter whether or not it has been given.
.

Hospitals can get away with this heinous behavior because it mostly affects the older more vulnerable sections of our society.
.
You see hospitals understand that they can indulge themselves with this sort of ageist behavior because we the people are still watching that Fred and Ginger song and dance act that they bedazzled us with in the first place.
.
The ageist behavior of the hospitals has lead us to believe rightfully that when old people go into hospital there are automatically at risk of dying.
.

But this only comes to pass because of the hospitals actions or mainly bad in-actions. Not because of theme now being any more innate vulnerability in the average mature person then there is in a preteen child.  Both groups Children and Seniors still do need a certain amount of care taken. But older persons are given far less care over the children .
.

“I have personally come up against this exact sort of ageism, many times hearing that  sixty is a good long time to have lived. This behavior not only diminishes all of us, separating us from our true humanity, our beliefs in charity and that older adults are precious contributors to our own lives and not to be diminished by these vultures upon the vulnerable.”
.

What they do so many now do inflicts harm upon all of us seniors? It is a spreading epidemic of ill will cast out upon those who only seek to enjoy  their golden years without the machinations of their caretakers contributing to their  early exit. Or shall I be more plain spoken and say what it is indeed, an execution. At what cost do we allow this to happen?
.

The insurance company too are doubly hit by this, first with the hospital costs and then with the life policy payout.
.
The stores and service sectors that older people patronize lose out.  Real Estate suffers because that extra condo is never purchased.  Younger families looking for affordable housing cannot move into established neighborhoods because to make the most of the estate, it is sold to developers.   And those young people if they get sick can not count upon the care of the hospitals because the staff are too jaded with their good enough practices that they become unable to set right your average medical situation.  Not being able to do CPR. Not recognizing the signs of poisoning, heart attack drug toxicity or allergic reaction. They only move now upon the threat of being sued, and even that last resort of public outrage is hamstrung with government legislation. All in an attitude of don’t do what’s best, only protect your butt.
.

This whole situation is an attack directed at  the Zoomers age group. This D.N.R. nonsense has to be rewritten re-regulated and completely re-thoughtout. It only acts as a legal sop to cover the actual act of involuntary euthanasia upon our senior persons. This has built to the point where we must act if not for ourselves then for everything we hold dear.  Our families and our liberties are threatened by this madness.  Should we not take this task to hand one day it will be your children in the hospital facing these torturers, Facing their own unsought for demise. And then who will stand for them?”
.
and the governments falsely do nothing about it.. why?

Canada’s bad police officers

.

Yes instead of looking for real criminals and most of them are not caught the undeniable fact is that there are over 60,000 mostly useless police officers in Canada too

https://thenonconformer.wordpress.com/2016/01/29/biggest-joke-of-the-year/

.

Canada’s Police   sponsored by the Canadian Association of Chiefs of Police and Transport Canada.   in a police initiative designed to save lives and reduce injuries on Canada’s roadways are  focusing on   “Four Big Killers” – impaired driving, failure to wear seatbelts, distracted driving and aggressive  driving but they still neglect the Biggest Killer and why?   Hospital  deaths due to infections, uncleanliness, errors.. Traffic tickets generate more money revenue for them as well
https://thenonconformer.wordpress.com/2015/04/22/one-of-the-most-read-topics-here-is-the-subject-of-bad-police-officers-in-Canada/

.

The Public remains generally skeptical about police investigating other police. Still an arm’s length investigation takes a step towards correcting the perception that there is a bias in favour of police in such investigations, all such investigations will have to be overseen by a civilian body, as recommended. We pay the police to handle all matters in a professional manner firstly.   And no more  . “No paid vacations”  for the cops awaiting trials..  All it takes for the bad guys to continue to do bad things is for the others wrongfully  to do nothing about it.

SPEED TRAP.jpg

The use of police force — against minorities and whites alike — is so poorly monitored that there is no precise accounting of how many citizens are abused, killed by officers, much less  the RELATED crucial details which tend to be  manifested only by the fact that citizens are posting unsettling cellphone Police videos and pictures of police brutality and because  of the many the records  are visible mostly from news media reports, some crucial details. Still details of  the race of officers and suspects, often are missing.  But still Canada has an ugly history of police abuses now too. The Police can do their part to repair their tarnished  images by firstly to acknowledging that  the person ‘s  rights, as an equal  the one right in front of them a person that the Police the force is supposed to be  serving and protecting. even  to protect  people under arrest.

.

The RCMP itself are the tip of a big iceberg of bad cops in Canada, all having also to do with the bad managers who hired them firstly . It seems every major  city tends to have bad cops too and why? that is unacceptable  https://thenonconformer.wordpress.com/2010/07/20/canadas-police-forces/

.RCMP POLICE SERVICE (1)

The RCMP received almost 13,000 formal public complaints since 2010, but its complaints board rejected 90% of them, QMI Agency has learned.  A force of 28 thousand and almost 12 thousand complaints. There is something rotten BC has long been known as the dumping ground for RCMP trash. No wonder there are so many complaints there.  http://www.torontosun.com/2014/10/27/rcmp-rejects-90-of-formal-complaints

.

The RCMP PR department in the past had also now lied about the number of drunk RCMP officers.    https://thenonconformer.wordpress.com/2010/04/07/old-news-rcmp-still-boozing-and-driving-too/

.

We can all also too readily know that too many RCMP officers wrongfully do lie, their bad managers included.. sadly they the RCMP and many cops  are also unacceptable hypocrites as they arrest others for drunk driving while many of them do the same thing too when they drive home drunk form the police taverns too . https://thenonconformer.wordpress.com/2013/02/13/time-for-us-all-to-fight-to-lower-police-costs-canada-wide-rcmp-included/ .

.

Furthermore  the punishment for an RCMP who is caught drunk is absurd,, alcoholics tend not to change.. rather they get worse.. all cops who drive or work while they are drunk should be fired from their job period!  .   All Cops need to be judged with a higher standard cause they are also to be exemplary..    https://thenonconformer.wordpress.com/2015/04/22/one-of-the-most-read-topics-here-is-the-subject-of-bad-police-officers-in-canada/

A Toronto police officer has been charged with manslaughter in connection with the September death of a 26-year-old man. The province’s Special Investigations Unit announced that Constable David Cavanagh of the Toronto Police is facing one charge of manslaughter following an investigation into a September 29 altercation between police and 26-year-old Eric Osawe. According to the SIU, police executed a search warrant at an apartment on Dunbloor Road in Toronto, during which time there was an “interaction” between police and Mr. Osawe. Somehow Mr. Osawe sustained a fatal gunshot wound during the search. Const. Cavanagh will appear at the Ontario Court of Justice on January 6. http://www.cbc.ca/canada/edmonton/story/2010/11/26/edmonton-rcmp-officer-pleads-guilty.html

RCMP officer pleads guilty to prisoner assault. An Alberta RCMP officer has pleaded guilty to assaulting a prisoner in a detachment cell. Const. Desmond Sandboe admitted to beating a prisoner in a cell at the Lac La Biche detachment on Sept. 13, 2009. A videotape showing Sandboe assaulting the prisoner was shown in court Friday. In a statement, Supt. Joe Loran, acting commanding officer of K Division, said the incident is “appalling.” Loran said Sandboe, a nine-year veteran of the RCMP, has violated the public’s trust and has done a great disservice to other RCMP members. Loran has recommended Sandboe be suspended without pay. Sandboe will be sentenced on Jan. 27. An internal investigation is underway and will be completed after the criminal court process has ended.

VERNON — An RCMP panel has ruled a Vernon Mountie who pleaded guilty earlier this year to a drinking driving offence will forfeit nine days of pay.Constable Jody Turpin refused to provide a breath sample in December 2009.He was fined $1,000 and lost his drivers license for a year.He will not be able to drive until March 2011.Turpin is now back to active duty.   http://www.vancouversun.com/news/Vernon+Mountie+loses+drinking+driving+offence/3851636/story.html#ixzz15lrvVfpr

CBC News Mistrial declared over Mountie’s undisclosed history A judge has declared a mistrial in the case of a man charged with a drinking-and-driving offence. (CBC)A Saskatoon judge has declared a mistrial in a drunk-driving case where the arresting officer had a history that was not disclosed. The case dates back to April when Darren Usselman was charged with having a  blood-alcohol level over .08 while operating his truck. The provincial court case went to trial in June. RCMP officer Sgt. Warren Gherasim, who did the roadside test, was the Crown’s main witness. Usselman was found guilty, but then defence lawyer Ron Piche stumbled across  Gherasim’s background. “It was learned that the sole witness, the main investigating officer, was himself the subject of disciplinary proceedings, professional standards and the like, in connection with an allegation of having consumed alcohol and  driven his vehicle and being in an accident,” Piche said. Gherasim had been sanctioned in 2006 for disgraceful conduct after rolling  his vehicle while off-duty. He admitted at an internal hearing that he had been drinking, but he was never charged. He was suspended without pay for eight days. A Supreme Court ruling in 2009 said that police must tell the Crown about  any misconduct records which may have a bearing on a case. Under disclosure rules, the Crown would then be required to disclose this  information to the defence. Before Usselman could be sentenced, Judge Marilyn Gray declared a mistrial.n her written decision she said, “Here the officer had been disciplined for the very conduct of which Mr. Usselman had been accused.” Piche said it would’ve come up in cross examination, had he known.“It may have influenced the result of the case, obviously, because  credibility is always an issue, not only with civilians but police witnesses as well,” he said.

CBC News A Saskatchewan RCMP officer has been charged with assault causing bodily harm following an incident in Melfort earlier this month.Charged is Const. Anthony Bear, 26, of La Loche. Bear was off-duty at the time of the incident and the victim is a man, the RCMP said.Bear was formally charged Thursday night and has been issued a promise to appear in Melfort provincial court on Dec. 14.No internal code of conduct process has been ordered, the RCMP said.Bear is currently not on active duty, the RCMP said. http://www.cbc.ca/canada/saskatchewan/story/2010/11/19/sk-rcmp-assault-charge-1011.html

Now in reality, in principle,  the RCMP and the police do owe a duty to protect all of the people in their custody. If they fail to discharge that duty, if they ignore their duty and harm arises, the RCMP and the police they now would be very likley legally, personally liable in these circumstances.

WHITEHORSE – No criminal charges will be laid against the Mounties involved in the case of a man who died in Whitehorse after lying on the floor of a jail cell for 13 hours vomiting repeatedly. Forty-three-year-old Raymond Silverfox had been arrested in December of 2008 for being drunk in public and after he became unresponsive in the cell, he was moved to hospital, where he later died. A coroner’s inquest ruled he died of natural causes, noting that one factor was an acute infection caused by his own vomit. RCMP Insp. Brendan Fitzpatrick says a thorough investigation by the Mounties and an independent legal assessment by the Public Prosecution Service of Canada have determined no criminal charges should be laid. However, Fitzpatrick says the five officers involved in the incident still face an internal code of conduct review of their actions, and the RCMP’s Public Complaints Commission is still investigating. The B.C. Civil Liberties Association filed a complaint with the commission, charging that an audio recording played at the inquest revealed the officers made fun of Silverfox as he lay on the cell floor and complained about having to clean up after him.

Two  Vancouver police officers involved in a homeless man’s freezing death …  there is a a video showing Paul being dragged unconscious into and out of the drunk tank, his wet clothes leaving a streak on the floor… and there were 52 police-involved deaths in Vancouver between 1992 and 2007 and no officers have ever been charged… there’s a need for a new civilian-led system to investigate police-involved deaths

Vancouver police cleared in man’s beating and one time too many now still.. Two Vancouver police officers who faced an allegation of abuse of authority have been cleared by Delta police investigating the incident. So what else is new . this is common in BC, the wrongful norm .The accusation of the police officers immoral actions  was made after the officers went to the wrong entrance of a home when investigating a domestic-violence call around 2:15 a.m. on Jan 21. A woman called 911 to report that her husband was drunk and had assaulted her. When these plainclothes officers arrived at the address provided, they believed Yao Wei Wu, 44, was their suspect and used force to arrest him, resulting in injuries to Wu’s face, legs and back. The  Delta police began to investigate what happened. The sole  Delta police investigator found that, although Wu had seen the officers’ badges and knew they were police, he resisted arrest, prompting the officers to pull him to the ground, where he hit his face. He was also punched in the shoulder a number of times. Of course the Delta police Chief Jim Cessford concluded the officers were acting in good faith and in the course of their duties at the time of the incident; that they had reasonable grounds to believe an assault had occurred; and that Wu was the suspect or an assaultive subject and that the officers used reasonable force to control him. “The police officers believed they were doing the right thing, that they were protecting a woman who was being assaulted,” Cessford said.
.

Cameron Ward, a lawyer for Wu, called the investigation a “farce.”Ward said his client did nothing wrong and the findings are shocking. “This investigation was a farce,” he said.  “It provides yet another example why police should not be investigating other police. It took Delta investigators more than nine months to investigate a brief incident in which the identities of those involved were immediately known.” Ward said investigators refused to believe Wu about the series of events. “In the end, the investigators chose to disbelieve Mr. Wu’s account of what happened to him, though he had no reason to lie. The investigators accepted the story of the two VPD members at face value, even though it is patently ridiculous and incredible. “The police-complaints process in British Columbia does a disservice to law-abiding citizens like Mr. Wu.” Wu,  said he “My family and I feel extremely disappointed and angry,” he said.“I was beaten by the police for no reason at the door of my home in the morning of Jan. 21 this year. “The matter was investigated for over nine months and the investigation report says that the police had reason to beat me, that I was beaten by the police because I resisted arrest and failed to co-operate, and that I fell and injured my eye. “This is absolutely a distortion of the facts. The police version is completely false.” Vancouver police initially said Wu resisted arrest, but Chief Jim Chu subsequently apologized, saying the officers were called to a domestic-violence incident but had the wrong address.  http://www.theprovince.com/news/Vancouver+police+cleared+beating/3773655/story.html?cid=megadrop_story

Police Custody in BC a Death Sentence?

BC saw one jail- or police-linked death every three weeks: Report  Vancouver Sun –  Over a 15-year span, 267 people died in police custody in BC, says a new report released Wednesday, which argues the numbers appear to be higher here than in other Canadian jurisdictions.

VANCOUVER (CBC) – A woman involved in a widely reported incident in a Kamloops, B.C., jail cell witnessed by several Mounties and jail employees says she never consented to having sex with another woman. The plaintiff, who cannot be identified because she may be a victim of sexual assault, has filed a lawsuit in B.C. Supreme Court against her alleged female attacker, the City of Kamloops, the RCMP and the federal and provincial governments, as well as the seven men who allegedly watched the encounter on surveillance video.

NOVA.SCOTIA (CBC) – A Halifax Regional Police officer pleaded guilty Tuesday to a charge of breach of trust and was sentenced to house arrest. Jeffrey Buchanan, 30, was handed a one-year conditional sentence, followed by two years of probation. Buchanan resigned from the police force Monday, after five years as an officer. Last December, he was charged with trying to extort about $5,000 from Shawn Banfield, a convicted drug dealer. He was suspended from the force at that time. In a separate case, Buchanan also faces charges of assaulting a woman in Cape Breton last August. That case is due in Sydney provincial court on Dec. 2. http://ca.news.yahoo.com/s/cbc/101116/canada/canada_novascotia_ns_police_officer_resigns

. Overall, the G20 in Toronto and the G8 in Huntsville, Ont. — held over three days — are estimated to have cost about $1.3 billion. We’re reeling, we’re staggering to understand how you can spend that amount of money,” said New Democrat MP Pat Martin.Toronto’s police chief Blair said about 60 per cent of his budget went to personnel, noting most had to be paid at a “premium” rate because officers were called in from leave or off days.  The police chief  said about 90 could face disciplinary action for removing their name badges — if they did so to avoid scrutiny.  http://ca.news.yahoo.com/s/capress/101104/business/g20_vandals

.
Bad policing is not  uniquely a North American fact for these too often  bad guys with badges can work anywhere in the world.
.
One thing  should be very clear is that I have also said loudly the RCMP tend to be very much cost infective.. these kind of scams have been going on for decades too..  Canada’s  Police do like to milk the gravy train as much as they can..
.
I too have often rightfully said and detailed as to how  that the RCMP Mounties, drive impaired, drunk, abuse others cheat lies steal, are cost ineffective as well!    Follow also not just the alcoholics but also  the money trail, one of the oldest rules of good journalism, it will tell you how effective the ministers, cops, RCMP, civil and public servants, professionals,  now really are too.

A former RCMP murder investigator involved in the high-profile “Surrey Six” slayings has pleaded guilty to attempting to defraud the Mounties with a fake $700 overtime bill.  Steven Perreault, 39, a four-year Mountie and former member of the regional Integrated Homicide Investigation Team, has been fined $500, placed on probation for a year and ordered to perform 50 hours of community service. Perreault was driven to submit the fake claim because of money troubles. His fiancee wanted him to spend more time with her and financial pressure was causing him to work many hours of overtime. The Crown had been asking for a  two-month prison sentence with one year’s probation, arguing that Perreault, as a police officer, should be held to a higher standard.  If Perreault fulfils the conditions of his sentence, he will receive a discharge, leaving him without a criminal record.  http://www.theprovince.com/RCMP+officer+pleads+guilty+fraud+attempt/3754260/story.html

VANCOUVER — A Richmond RCMP officer has been fired after a disciplinary board found he shoplifted from a grocery store and then lied about it to his commanding officer.Const. Khomphet (Kam) Khamphoune was caught shoplifting $133 worth of over-the-counter drugs while off-duty on May 29, 2008, by a security guard at an Extra Foods in east Vancouver. He pleaded guilty to theft a year later and was given a conditional discharge.Following his sentencing, Khamphoune was ordered to appear before an RCMP disciplinary board. A copy of that board’s decision, recently obtained by The Vancouver Sun, concludes Khamphoune’s conduct was “disgraceful” and that he can no longer serve as a police office. The board, made up of three senior Mounties, found Khamphoune’s theft alone was a firing offence. But it noted he made the situation even worse when, in trying to justify why he shouldn’t be suspended without pay, he lied to his superior.  The decision to fire Khamphoune was made by the RCMP board in October 2009. BC now also has the bad reputation of  the most custody deaths in Canada, and the worst RCMP force as well.  No wonder the Liberal premier of BC Gordon Campbell was forced to resign unexpectedly. Even the Justice in BC is often ludicrous.. What the justice ministers, government of BC, Canada cannot see how damaging such bad publicity is to BC, Canada  world wide, Citizens tend to have long and unforgiving memories too. Police need the respect of citizens nor rather their fears to do their jobs well.

CALGARY (CBC) – A 15-year veteran of the Calgary Police Service has been charged in connection with a vehicle collision that seriously injured a motorist nearly two years ago.  Sgt. Tony Braile was charged Wednesday with dangerous driving causing bodily harm, the Alberta Serious Incident Response Team announced at a news conference. “It was the manner in which he was operating the motor vehicle at the time of the incident, which was a marked patrol vehicle,”  Purvis said that in the early hours of Dec. 15, 2008, police began pursuing a vehicle believed to have been stolen. Braile is alleged to have trailed the vehicle for nearly an hour, ignoring several police policies and procedures, said Deputy Chief Trevor Daroux. “The incident concluded with a motor vehicle collision that resulted in member of the public being injured. As result, a service investigation was initiated,” Daroux said. A 46-year-old male motorist was seriously injured in the crash at Fifth Street and Fifth Avenue S.W., which didn’t directly involve any police cruisers. Braile was suspended from duty with pay four months ago, Daroux said. There are  questions about why it took so long for the investigation to be completed. Braile will make his first court appearance next month. ASIRT is the provincial agency that investigates serious cases of death or injury that may have resulted from the actions of a police officer.

IMPAIRED DRIVING (3)

“To many police officer abuse the power given them by “we the people.”  These are  normal behavior not isolated incidents  by police officers that are nothing more than criminal wearing  badges!  This has to stop! We law-abiding citizens have to get more involved in our communities and push for laws that treat corrupt officers the same way they treat the rest of us! I’m sick and tired to always have to witness police officers dashing in front of you at high-speed, changing lanes without turn signals, only to get out of the daily bumper to bumper traffic that is the norm here in S. Florida. While talking on their cell phones, or parked at any time blocking traffic for no clear reason other than their disregard for the law! They are to carried away with the authority which law-abiding citizen respect, but that they don’t give back to us when they pull us over. Like they do on many occasions just to meet their quota for the month. This is sad to the professional police officers that do the right thing. Yet unfortunately that is what to many time the average citizen encounters when dealing with those that are supposed to ” PROTECT AND SERVE”.  I just hope that we the law-abiding citizen get more involved in our communities and not be afraid to allow our voices to be heard.”

NOVA.SCOTIA (CBC) – Nova Scotia’s justice minister is proposing legislation to create an independent, civilian-led team to investigate alleged wrongdoing involving police. Ross Landry said the Serious Incident Response Team, which will have a civilian director, will also include two civilian provincial investigators and seconded police officers.  “This team will investigate serious matters such as death, serious injury, sexual assaults or public interest concerns which had allegedly resulted serious incidents involving the police,” Landry told a news conference Thursday afternoon.  The creation of the new team will end the practice of police investigating police, though officers may still be seconded to help. Landry said the unit will not be in place until the end of next year,”This unit is simply part of the natural evolution of police accountability,”  http://ca.news.yahoo.com/s/cbc/101028/canada/canada_novascotia_ns_investigative_unit_ros

Cops found guilty for mistreating homeless Toronto Sun -EDMONTON – Two Edmonton police officers have been found guilty under the Police Act for mistreating nine intoxicated homeless people during a 2005 arrest.
.
Edmonton police guilty in ‘sweatbox’ case CBC.ca  The three officers were accused of picking up nine homeless aboriginal people — six men and three women — on Whyte Avenue in May 2005 and locking them in a police van before dumping them about 90 minutes later in a parking lot in the north end.  Sentencing submissions will be made in three weeks.  The incident was brought to light by a story in a newspaper written and sold by Edmonton street people. After a year-long investigation, the RCMP announced in June 2008 that no criminal charges would be laid against the officers involved. In February 2010, Edmonton police decided three officers would face an internal disciplinary hearing.
.

Edmonton cops guilty of dumping homeless people in parking lot Vancouver Sun Constables Lael Souter and Patrick Hannas were convicted at a disciplinary hearing Friday of insubordination and discreditable conduct for driving the nine homeless people around in a hot, stuffy van and then dumping them off in a residential neighbourhood. A third officer, Const. Graham Blackburn, was cleared.

Once again thanks to the video the whole truth was exposed and  the footage tarnished the supposed police professionalism, In the brutal police assault on 27-year-old Stacy Bonds,  an assault that was so blatant and so revolting ,  even, police lovers,  all those who reflexively defend all of the police conduct had to pause and consider the negative meaning of what happened at the Ottawa police station on Sept. 26, 2008.  How many other assault police’ charges are merely trumped up for the purpose of concealing the officials wrongdoings?  A democratic, free nation never needs to fear any oppression, perversity  intimidation even  by police or the state.  But Stacy Bonds  a Canadian had been mistreated by Ottawa police in Canada’s  nation’s capital. Stacy Bonds, a young black person  with no criminal history managed to provok  the Ottawa Police into  horrific abusive acts and a false arrest   apparently merely for asking the same police as to  why police had stopped her for questioning. Stacy Bonds  was not  drunk nor behaving inappropriately. The police stopped her and asked her name; she provided it. After checking her name and finding nothing, the police told her she could go on her way. Bonds, in her perfect right, next had asked why she had been stopped in the first place. In response, the bad police officers had arrested her for public intoxication and handcuffed her.  Bonds was taken to Ottawa Police headquarters, where the  the judge noted that she was anything but “violent or aggressive.” In spite on her part   the lack of violence or aggression, Bonds was next assaulted by many police officers by  “two extremely violent knee hits in the back … and has her hair pulled back and her face shoved forward.”Next  Bonds was forced to the ground with a riot shield — though she was “not resisting with hands flailing or feet flailing,” as the judge had said — and subjected to a strip search. The video shows four male officers and one female officer taking part in, or watching, as Bonds was forced to the ground. The Judge Lajoie severely criticized police actions at the station, saying it was “an indignity toward a human being and should be denounced.” Now in the absence of the  video recording, would Bonds have had a fair hearing? Unlikely! Visibly “There is a malaise in the Justice system. How could these five police officers have taken part in the brutalization of Stacy Bonds and then also allowed charges for “assault police” to go ahead? How could a Crown Attorney have failed to stay charges even on seeing the video? Of a more general rightful concern also is , how is it that people whose job it is to see justice done acted so unjustly? and likley more than once”  For the sake of all Canadians another case like that of Stacy Bonds must be insured to never be allowed to happen again by exemplary punishing the bad Ottawa police officers and their bad supervisors, the related justice personnel as well. Clearly also  new enforced professionalism , ethics are now required in the Canadian justice system.
 .
Why did it take so long to deal with a very shocking, troubling, disturbing   incident where a  Video confirms a  2008 strip search of a woman Stacy Bonds by the Ottawa police and it now clearly shakes the citizen’s  confidence rightfully in all authorities.
 .
The 27-year-old woman was left topless in a cell at an Ottawa police station for three hours in soiled pants.  Justice Richard Lajoie last month stayed charges of public intoxication and assault against Stacy Bonds and criticized the conduct of police. The video was released Thursday after. Lajoie said he was “appalled” that Bonds was strip searched in the presence of male officers, calling the incident an “indignity.”.The video, which shows officers at the Elgin Street detachment confining Stacy Bonds and kneeing her in the back before she is wrestled to the floor, where her shirt and bra are cut off. But he said he was disturbed by the event. The Special Investigations Unit is is only now probing the incident..”it’s very important that we get to the bottom of this and that people know exactly what happened and what we need to do to ensure that it doesn’t happen again,””From time to time things happen which shake us, and it’s very important that we get to the bottom of this and that people know exactly what happened and what we need to do to ensure that it doesn’t happen again,” , Premier Dalton McGuinty also said “Every time something untoward like this happens, it shakes our confidence.” Officers need to remember this was someone’s sister, someone’s daughter and _”for all they knew, this might have been somebody’s mother,” added McGuinty. “We’ve got to be very, very careful about how we deal with each other and it’s very important that police act in keeping with what is right and appropriate and lawful,” he said.  http://ca.news.yahoo.com/canada
CALGARY POLICE SERVICE (2)
.
Ottawa itself  is in an uproar over the way police treated the now famous Stacy Bonds, and rightly so. The “justice” system is already showing that it places protecting its own above protecting the public. The provincial attorney general is the one who should be doing something about the way the system handled the forceful strip search of the diminutive Ottawa woman, but that would mean admitting the Crown got this wrong. Judge Richard Lajoie’s ruling that the arrest of Bonds was unlawful, her detention violated Charter rights and the case was a “travesty.” Rather than create an independent review of the Crown’s actions, Bentley turned to the subordinate in charge of prosecution and asked him if he thought his people acted properly. What a surprise that he would say yes.  The province’s Special Investigations Unit is investigating, but the Bonds matter actually falls outside the organization’s mandate, which allows it to look at matters involving death, sexual assault or serious injury. There was no serious injury in the Bonds case and it would probably be pushing it to describe what occurred as a sexual assault. The SIU is likely to conclude that there is nothing it can do. The images of four male police officers forcing Bonds to the floor before the officer in charge cut her clothes off might seem outrageous to the public and the judge who tossed out the charge against Bonds, but the Crown has never identified a problem with what took place. The conduct of individual police officers in this case fell well below the standard that we should expect, but the Crown’s failure to perceive it is the most shocking element of this whole sorry situation.   A reasonable person, let alone an experienced Crown attorney, should have expressed concern to Chief White about the officers’ conduct. Nothing was said, even though Bonds’ defence lawyer raised concerns with the actions caught on tape. Two years after the event, the Crown was still arguing in front of a judge that the police officers were, in effect, the victims.  Despite his attorney general’s support for the Crown prosecutors, Premier Dalton McGuinty on Friday made a wishy-washy statement about maybe reviewing the Bonds affair to see if something could be learned from it. That’s not nearly good enough. The point was further amplified by the news Friday that two more cases have been thrown out because of similar police behaviour. In effect, the attorney general is saying it’s OK to arrest a woman on the flimsiest of pretexts, manhandle her, strip search her in disregard of guidelines established by the Supreme Court, toss her in a cell half-naked, then charge her with assaulting police. It’s an outrageous position. The system simply isn’t working. The Crown attorneys are the ones who are supposed to determine whether charges are in the public interest and if there is a reasonable prospect of conviction. They are meant to offer sober second thought and to prevent people being hauled into court simply on the say-so of the police. They haven’t done their job properly. Neither has the attorney general.  At this point, Dalton McGuinty is the only person who can restore some sanity to the system. The last thing the embattled premier needs is another controversy, but it’s time for an independent investigation and maybe even a new attorney general. The people give enormous powers to the police and the Crown with the trust that they will use those powers wisely. The Bonds incident has called that trust into question. Restoring the public’s faith is essential. This isn’t a situation where the people in charge can shrug and drive on. http://www.ottawacitizen.com/travel/Randall+this+system+seems+everyone+blind+justice/3891595/story.html
.
LAZY, INDIFFERENT, IMMORAL, BAD POLICE, BAD JUSTICE MINSTERS, BAD SOLICITOR GENERALS  is not a new aspect in Ottawa, Ontario and in the rest of Canada. SO NEVER  EXPECT A FULL HONEST INVESTIGATION WHEN CLEARY THE RESULTS WILL SHOW BAD COPS, BAD ATTORNEY GENERALS, BAD MINISTERS WHO HAVE NOT BEING DOING A GOOD JOB. ALL UNACCEPTABLE.
.
Only by a full Public scrutiny and next rightfully  holding them all as well to the highest standards can we change the bad police, bad justice culture that abuses ordinary persons and  leads to cases like Bonds’s or that of Robert Dziekanski.
.
The Police statements in Canada too often now are misdetections,   a public-relations stunt, or just another attempt to not address the real unacceptable issues. Even clearly the institutionalized and systematic racism that marginalizes black Canadian youths and, sadly, forces some of them into a life of crime. Whatever the motivation, there is definitely some ‘politicking’ going on here. In Canada, no persons ought to be above the law, including police officers.Too many Canadians are very disappointed at how members of the  Police act abusively towards the citizens too often as well
.
Many even more disappointed that the officers involved in the action have not been charged. If any other Canadians did to Bonds what those officers did I cannot imagine that the state would not prosecute. And now, if Bonds pursues a civil lawsuit against the Ottawa police, it will likely be Ottawa taxpayers who foot the bill, not the individual officers. Where’s the justice?
.

BELLEVILLE, Ont. – The husband, David McMullan himself a police officer, of Belleville, Ont., police Chief Cory McMullan has been sentenced to 30 days in jail after pleading guilty to assaulting her and breaking her arm and he  was also sentenced today to 18 months probation with conditions, including that he not communicate with his wife without her permission. He must also provide a DNA sample, and has been banned from owning firearms for the rest of his life. David McMullan pleaded guilty to assault causing bodily harm after his wife was beaten in a Belleville parking lot and again at their house on Aug. 6.  .

30 days for such a serious abuse is a mockery of Justice now too .

.

While bad doctors, bad cops, bad nurses, bad professionals tend to get of Scott free.. but not the citizens. Mostly Perverse justice ministers still make promises do deal with the issues that lack real substances..What thus is always needed is the real  the dismissal, criminal prosecution, of the guilty persons, cops by an independent citizen based board, review and not rather masturbating bodies.. . So where is it ?   . Alcohol is still more dangerous than illegal drugs like heroin and crack cocaine, according to a new study.Heroin, crack cocaine and methamphetamine, or crystal meth, were the most lethal to individuals. When considering their wider social effects, alcohol, heroin and crack cocaine were the deadliest. But overall, alcohol outranked all other substances, followed by heroin and crack cocaine. Experts said alcohol scored so high because it is so widely used and has devastating consequences not only for drinkers but for those around them. When drunk in excess, alcohol damages nearly all organ systems. It is also connected to higher death rates and is involved in a greater percentage of crime than most other drugs, including heroin. All governments should consider more education programs and raising the price of alcohol so it isn’t as widely available.    “What governments decide is illegal is not always based on science,”  for monetary considerations about revenue and taxation, like those garnered from the alcohol and tobacco industries, may influence decisions about which substances to regulate or outlaw. “Drugs that are legal cause at least as much damage, if not more, than drugs that are illicit,”     http://ca.news.yahoo.com/s/capress/101031/health/health_eu_med_dangerous_alcohol

.
Furthermore now, in Quebec, despite many polls showing the citizens  overwhelming desire for a public inquiry into allegations of corruption and collusion to fix prices in the construction industry,  a year long police investigation  has yet to finger any big names

People in leadership office do have to face higher penalties as an example now too. It is clearly established, accepted fact by most people that those in leadership civil and public servants cops, teachers, ministers, politicians included  are always to be exemplary in behavior,  conduct and they do need to maintain their high standards even out of their working hours, thus to do so they are also to be exemplary  judged, prosecuted  for their own wrong doings with a higher standard over those of us ordinary folks. Too many police officers are now too often guilty of their most serious neglect of public trust and their duty. The related truth is that neither an independent police investigation, a new police commissioner,  a promised provincial or federal investigation, or just more politicians promises too often still   will not bring the much needed justice. All of the governments can prohibit the initial and further employment of any known racists for any jobs, and can  punish them for their racists acts, views. Police managers continue to promise the reforming of bad cops and the bad cops keep killing, abusing  innocent persons. The possible retaining of bad  police officers is always anyway a false myth. What thus is always needed is the real  the dismissal, criminal prosecution, of the guilty cops. So where is it Tax payer’s money abuses, false expense account statements, stealing, tax evasions,   obstruction of justice, cheating, lying,  drunkenness, impaired driving, pornography,  Adultery, VERBAL, PHYSICAL ABUSES, are all ESPECIALLY unacceptable for any civil and public servants. It is a clearly established fact with good basis as to why our Canadian leaders, politicians, police, military, public and civil servants  who are always to be exemplary are even personally are to held to a higher standard, accountability in reality. Public exposure and prosecution of the guilty is one of the best approach serving everyone’s best interest too.  “In the case of police, it is in everyone’s best interest that there is full, effective, independent, transparent and objective oversight. It goes without saying that an absence of effective oversight will inevitably result in the erosion of the community’s confidence in the police.”

 .
Provincial Governments, cops too  do not want to reduce gambling or alcohol consumption for it is a great money maker for them, and too many Canadian politicians and cops do like to booze..
.
The problem with the Police consuming alcohol, is that alcohol not only makes you a mental retard cause it does now kills your brain cell, alcohol also kills your emotions of compassion, and  reasoning ability now as well.. We all also tend to know how many cops and others do often despise others, mock the skid row persons, native alcoholic, drunks and yet hypocritically they do the same thing, even their peers.. consuming a vast amount of alcohol and they cannot see what negative effect it has on their personal life
.

https://thenonconformer.wordpress.com/2010/10/24/about-those-selfish-alcoholic-drunks-who-falsely-continue-to-justify-their-immoral-acts/

And I am not convinced that our too often rather incompetent, racist , cost ineffective  national police, security forces, RCMP included now are capable of dealing with the Muslims terrorists especially  since they clearly cannot speak Russian or Arabic or any other foreign languages  for the most part still.
.
In the last 10 years, crime rates have fallen roughly 27 per cent but costs have risen 44 per cent in policing and 33 per cent in corrections. Our prisoner population has managed to stay constant.  Is that a paradox? Or is that because those in the system are smart enough to ensure they all keep working and our prisons remain full, even though there are far fewer crimes. Also the report notes “the most embarrassing lacunae in Canadian data” is the lack of useful information on our courts — “we have no systemic way of assessing whether the courts are getting more or less effective in dealing with the cases that they see, let alone understanding how much as a society we are paying. For a developed nation, this is disappointing to say the least … How bad is it?”  It’s appalling — even mischief cases take more than half a year on average to process.  First Nations represent about four per cent of the population but more and more of them are being imprisoned — from 13 per cent of the offenders in custody in 1998 to 20 per cent a decade later. In Saskatchewan, 80 per cent of inmates are native. In Manitoba it’s 70 per cent, in (Racists) Alberta 40 per cent.In those three provinces, aboriginal people also are least likely to be given probation or conditional sentences. That is a major scandal that demands investigation..  http://www.vancouversun.com/Mulgrew+Cost+crime+rises+crime+rate+falls/10296393/story.html

SPEED TRAP.jpg

October 17, 2010

there is no new thing under the sun

I am not one who lacks words in writing, but yet I am not one to waste words in futility as well.. Now for decades too I do write many letters openly Canada wide to our elected officials, and to say that I get effective replies from them would be mostly a lie… I am lucky if 2 persons of 1000 MPs, MLA , Aldermen would reply to them. They only take a superficial one at best interest in us at election times. But I have to say I have been surprised that the province that responds the least is Quebec and they re as bad as the Federal Conservatives too.. Both are too soft on white collared crimes, criminals. The   Lieberal Quebec officials, like bad cops, bad RCMP, Ostriches in denial are very   sensitive to any criticism, and really cannot handle it at all.  https://thenonconformer.wordpress.com/2009/03/16/quebec-the-second-largest-province-in-canada-holds-75-seats-and-cannot-be-ignored/
.
Promised past Accountability and Transparency were mere election gimmicks now too.. A bad Liberal is just as bad as a bad Conservative always as well. So who is being fooled by all this? The liars do only mostly fool  themselves as to who and what they really are.
.
The Mounties also always gripe about being underpaid.. when the real problem is that they had hired too much crap to start off with. When you hire bad persons you next get bad cops with bad results ..  RCMP officer threatened critic. In Canada along with the bad pastors, the crooks, bad politicians, the cops are a typical group who do not tolerate negative free speech about their own bad acts, for they tend to be ostriches in denials, who falsely refuse to admit, to see their own bad points, and they wrongfully, clearly do let you all falsely to believe they are some kind of gods, perfectionist who themselves cannot be challenged, questioned. How absurd. These people in denial are the ones who often need professional help for their sickness. The RCMP along with other major police forces tend to be known for censorship of free speech, obstruction of justice, false intimidations of their critics. Now in reality too often the Police are too often lazy, no good cops… but the feds, politicians, civil and public servants included, are not any better it seems. In Canada in my whole life I never got the too often bad police to do one proper thing, to do one proper police complaint review now too. https://thenonconformer.wordpress.com/2010/09/04/rcmp-officer-threatened-critic/
.
When you criticize openly the  bad persons , especially bad cops, doctors, nurses, professionals you tend to get a false denial, remark in response  like you are crazy, you need professional help. They still really  cannot face the reality there are things in their life that need serious, drastic changes. These people in denial are the ones who often need professional help for their own short comings, sickness. Their false denial, diversion, distortion does not change the negative reality about their own unacceptable acts.  Corruptions occurs now Not just in Churches, amongst the police, politicians, civil and public servants.
.
HEY WE ALL TEND TO KNOW THAT EVEN THE RCMP CANNOT CATCH THE BAD GUYS ANYMORE TOO. IT IS A KNOWN FACT THE POLICE IN CANADA TOO OFTEN  TEND TO COVER-UP FOR THE CRIMINAL IMMORAL WHITE COLLARED CRANES OF PROFESSIONALS LEST THEY NEXT ALSO BE HELD ACCOUNTABLE. When a  professional cannot see what they are doing now is simply  so wrong they themselves do now need real professional help too.
.
The People who lie often, the professionals and the politicans, civil and public servants  now included, they tend to have severe personal, mental disorders next cause one tends to eventually believe next ones lies as being the truth, and they can no no longer differentiate their own lies from reality, the truth.
.

Narcissistic, selfish, self centered  Mental Disorders too evident now even in many of the so called medical Professionals leads  these persons to  dwell in self-absorption, fantasy, illusion, where she or he has exaggerated claims to talents, importance, or specialness,  manifesting evidence  of a need for constant admiration from others,  a lack of empathy for all others, persistent in this too,  have rigid personality traits and coping styles, clearly  inflexible, do show a  hypersensitivity to any criticism , defeat or  negative realities thus they rather  are pathological in  denial by the their falsity, contrived replacement of the truths which they still must  face eventually .   These SEVERE PERSONALITY disorders are generally personally ongoing too leading to more impaired social and/or occupational functioning and can make it difficult to pinpoint a clear dividing line between their  pathology and their so called normality. Most of these people with their personality disorders may not perceive that there is anything wrong with their behavior and thus they are not motivated to change it. It is important to note that these  personality disorders are considered to have their onset in late adolescence or early adulthood and they alone are responsible for it too.
.
Denial, it is very very common when many an individual, even amongst so called professionals, even in pastors now included,  are openly confronted with their own wrong doings, that they resort to a false denial. When confronted with the truth the denier they  often respond with a similar personal counter attack remark as   ”you are crazy”.  “I reject your reality… and substitute my own.”  Their false denial, diversion, distortion does not change the negative reality about themselves still though.  Sadly it is a negative natural human tendency to devolve into denial.”    It’s not just a moral compass that’s lacking, but the ability to honest, or to stand apart. Denial often comes out of a false pride, a fear of being openly exposed as being wrong. Denial is a false convenient escape, excuse for inaction  for persons now  facing a situation that requires a decision or action that conflicts with his or her established past policy. Denial too often can be  further disastrous upon themselves and others.. for denial is not seeing data at all or seeing it and coming to an erroneous conclusion within oneself. One’s false denial is often based on a false assumption  of one’s past great success and often precedes their own severe personal failure next due to a personal disconnect with real life. Illustrated fully by the story of the Emperor with new clothes.
.
Denial (also called abnegation) is a defense mechanism postulated by Sigmund Freud, in which a person is faced with a fact that is too uncomfortable to accept and rejects it instead, insisting that it is not true despite what may be overwhelming evidence, a mechanism of the immature mind that conflicts with the ability to learn from and cope with reality. The subject may now deny the reality of the unpleasant fact altogether (simple denial), admit the fact but deny its seriousness (minimization) or admit both the fact and seriousness but deny responsibility (transference). The concept of denial is particularly related to the denial of one’s addiction to alcohol for example, or to one slandering others, abusing them stealing, lying.. their denial or their  minimization of their own wrong doings is the  essential part of what enables them next to to continue his or her behavior in the face of evidence that, to an outsider, that is   overwhelming.   “The American Heart Association cites denial as a principal reason that treatment of a heart attack is delayed. Because the symptoms are so varied, and often have other potential explanations, the opportunity exists for the patient to deny the emergency, often with fatal consequences. It is common for patients to delay mammograms or other tests because of a fear of cancer, even though this is clearly maladaptive.”
.

Types of Denial include now the Denial of fact: This form of denial is where someone avoids a fact by lying. This lying can take the form of an outright falsehood (commission), leaving out certain details in order to tailor a story (omission), This form of denial involves avoiding personal responsibility by blaming, minimizing or justifying.   Denial of responsibility:  Denial of impact: avoiding thinking about or understanding the harms their behavior have caused to themselves or others.  Denial of awareness: they do not admit any previous awareness of the negative reality.  Denial of cycle: Denial of cycle is where a person avoids looking at their decisions leading up to an event or does not consider their pattern of decision making and how harmful behavior is repeated. Denial of denial:  This latter form of denial typically overlaps with all of the other forms of denial, but involves more self-delusion. People in a false denial are really nuts, delusional..

.

There are tools and practices that we can implement to overcome the psychological trap of denial. Public exposure and prosecution of the guilty is one of the best approach serving everyone’s best interest too. It is a clearly established fact with good basis as to why our Canadian leaders, politicians, police, military, public and civil servants  who are always to be exemplary are even personally are to held to a higher standard, accountability in reality.    People in leadership office do have to face higher penalties as an example now too. It is clearly established, accepted fact by most people that those in leadership, doctors, nurse,  civil and public servants, cops, teachers, pastors, priests, ministers, politicians included  are always to be exemplary in behavior,  and in conduct and they do need to maintain their high standards even out of their working hours, thus to do so they are also to be exemplary  judged, prosecuted  for their own wrong doings with a higher standard over those of us ordinary folks.

False Denial by civil and public servants is common but I have never seem so many lying, mental people in one place like I have amongst the cops or even the medical workers that I have dealt with this year in in Hospitals, convalescent, old age homes who really do delude
themselves too often about their self importance and the positive role they are functioning in.

.
Face it
(Eccl 1:9 KJV)  The thing that hath been, it is that which shall be; and that which is done is that which shall be done: and there is no new thing under the sun.
(Eccl 1:14 KJV)  I have seen all the works that are done under the sun; and, behold, all is vanity and vexation of spirit.
(Eccl 3:16 KJV)  And moreover I saw under the sun the place of judgment, that wickedness was there; and the place of righteousness, that iniquity was there.
(Eccl 4:1 KJV)  So I returned, and considered all the oppressions that are done under the sun: and behold the tears of such as were oppressed, and they had no comforter; and on the side of their oppressors there was power; but they had no comforter.
(Eccl 5:13 KJV)  There is a sore evil which I have seen under the sun, namely, riches kept for the owners thereof to their hurt.
(Eccl 9:3 KJV)  This is an evil among all things that are done under the sun, that there is one event unto all: yea, also the heart of the sons of men is full of evil, and madness is in their heart while they live, and after that they go to the dead.
(Eccl 10:5 KJV)  There is an evil which I have seen under the sun, as an error which proceedeth from the ruler:

Fire all of the useless public and civil servants managers first.. here are many examples as to how bad they realy are now too
.
Anyone familiar with the Canadian Political systems tends to  know that for many decades now too the   Canadian Political systems   are still spinning  their wheels and going nowhere. Political parties do change but the end results tend to be the same for not much is being done basically for the good welfare of all of the citizens still. The too often pretentious and ineffective civil and public servants tend to lie and  look mainly after their own interests, plus  we still have too often bad cops and bad RCMP in Canada, and we still have the  bad, pretentious Medicare systems. We still have greedy corporate monopolies price gouging the consumers too. OTTAWA —  The federal Integrity commissioner herself now resigns as federal Attorney General Shiela Fraser was probing the office amid operational complaints begins a probe on her,  Christiane Ouimet was the whistleblower commissioner, whose job is to protect federal public employees who report wrongdoing in the government and is the same the federal whistleblower watchdog who hasn’t produced any recommendations or found any wrongdoing in her three years on the job, now has announced Wednesday she is “retiring” four years before her term is set to expire. Ouimet’s retirement came into effect Monday.  She supposedly now has decided that after 28 years in the federal public service, it was time for her to retire.” The office of the Integrity Commissioner was part of the Conservative’s Federal Accountability Action Plan. Too many persons have been critical of Ouimet’s job, for the current system to protect government whistleblowers has been a disaster — during three years of operation with millions spent, the Commissioner’s office has not uncovered a single case of wrongdoing in the entire federal public service, and has not even protected not a single whistleblower,”  NDP MP Pat Martin said  “Clearly we weren’t getting value for money if she wasn’t acting on the information that was being brought to her attention.” The public sector integrity commissioner’s office was established in 2007 as part of the Whistleblower Act of 2007 has spent millions of dollars now too.

MONTREAL   Relatives of Canadians who died as a result of altercations with police will demonstrate in Montreal  calling for changes in the way police forces investigate allegations of police brutality. The group includes relatives of people shot and killed by police, people who died after police used stun guns, and people who were run over by police. Police investigation methods in Quebec have come under fire in recent years after high-profile cases such as the Villanueva shooting in 2008. Ministerial policy dictates an outside police force be brought in as soon as a police officer discharges a weapon and whenever someone is killed or injured in an incident involving police which has not always been honest or fair . The family members involved in this weekend’s demonstrations are demanding that police investigations be conducted by a third party not connected to any police force. “I witnessed first hand cover-ups, lies, misinformation [and] conveniently forgotten reports,” said Matson. “It’s not recognizing the real story that’s happening there. It’s just recognizing what they want to see, and that’s protecting themselves.”Julie Matson, http://ca.news.yahoo.com/s/cbc/101021/canada/canada_montreal_quebec_families_want_changes_police_investigations

The Canadian Press  VANCOUVER – The RCMP needs an attitude adjustment and the shift will need to be part of any new deal British Columbia and other provinces negotiate for future policing services, says B.C.’s attorney general.     Mike de Jong told reporters after a justice ministers meeting last week that he and his colleagues in other provinces are looking for a direct line of accountability between the RCMP and the provincial jurisdiction.  A “cultural shift” needs to accompany the structural shift that they are negotiating, the minister said. “The RCMP needs to be accountable both provincially and at the community level.” De Jong said the federal government has been receptive to the idea that RCMP officers account both to the province and local communities for their actions   http://ca.news.yahoo.com/s/capress/101017/national/rcmp_contract

The Canadian Press Date: Saturday Oct. 16, 2010 7:47 AM ET OTTAWA — The Mounties have decided not to lay charges in a case in which sensitive government emails were deliberately destroyed, ending a two-year probe regarded as an overdue test of Canada’s information law.   The RCMP’s review of the case focused on Section 67.1 of the Access to Information Act, which provides penalties of up to two years in jail and a $10,000 fine for destroying government records or even counselling someone to conceal them from a requester.  The section was added to the Act in 1999, after several high-profile cases in which military documents about Somalia, as well as Red Cross records, were shredded to prevent embarrassing public disclosures.  But in the 11 years since, no one has ever been convicted or even charged under the section — and the RCMP probe was being watched closely to see whether the law was effective.  “We conducted an investigation and we concluded that no criminal charges will be laid,” Sgt. Stephane Turgeon of the RCMP’s “A” Division said in a brief statement. “That concludes the matter at our end.”  Turgeon declined to provide further details on the investigation or the decision.  “When I see politicians and public servants getting away with this kind of deception, it makes me very angry,” she said.  “This isn’t the first RCMP investigation to have fizzled and until the people demand better from their elected officials they will get no better.”  http://www.ctv.ca/CTVNews/TopStories/20101016/rcmp-email-investigation-101016/

Janet Jones doesn’t think her 88-year-old father-in-law should have to pay a $29.40 daily fee for room and board at the BC  Langley Memorial Hospital while he recuperates from a broken hip. “Someone that pays taxes all his life and is supposed to have universal health shouldn’t be receiving a bill for health care,” said Jones. “It’s a bit ridiculous. WINNIPEG — Police said they’ll be launching a criminal probe into the death of Brian Sinclair, a homeless man who waited for 34 hours in a hospital’s emergency room in September 2008. Police made the announcement today, nearly six months after Toronto-based Clayton Ruby, a lawyer for the family, called on officers to investigate.  They said they willl now be assembling a team of investigators to look into the death as a potentially criminal matter. The 45-year-old man’s death made national headlines and raised concerns about the quality of ER care and the treatment of aboriginal people in the health-care system. Sinclair’s family has filed a civil lawsuit against the regional health authority, the Manitoba government and medical staff who were working when he died. Family spokesman Robert Sinclair, Brian’s cousin, said today he found out from the media police were launching an criminal investigation. “I’m glad they finally made a decision,” he said. “Everything’s been at a standstill.” Lawyer Vilko Zbogar said a police probe will likely delay the start of a provincial inquest into Sinclair’s death at the HSC. A sentiment shared by Health Minister Theresa Oswald who also said that the criminal investigation could delay the start of a provincial inquest into Sinclair’s death. “It could delay it. I hope that’s not true. But I have heard that that might be the case,” she told reporters at the Legislative Building today. Oswald said she hopes the police probe won’t substantially delay matters because she welcomes the inquest and its potential for leading to improved patient care. Asked for her reaction to hospital workers being the target of a police probe, the health minister said: “If this investigation that the Winnipeg Police Service believes it needs to pursue is going to provide us with more information, I welcome that, to be frank, I’ve never said otherwise.” In March the Winnipeg Police Service said they would do a review into the matter after Ruby spoke out on the family’s behalf. Police said the decision to launch the investigation came after getting documents and materials related to Sinclair’s death.  “We have determined that an investigation into this incident is warranted,” said Const. Natalie Aitken, Winnipeg Police Service spokeswoman. “That being said, that should not be any reason to construe that any manner of wrong-doing has been determined as of this time.” A statement from police earlier this year said they’d never received “any suggestion” there was evidence of criminal wrongdoing concerning Sinclair’s death. Police said investigators from the medical examiner’s office had not asked them to look into the incident, and the only contact police had with medical examiner investigators was to do with alerting Sinclair’s relatives to his death. Police did not say which specific charges they were looking at laying, if any. http://www.winnipegfreepress.com/breakingnews/Police-to-investigate-Sinclair-ER-death-105035019.html

Now read about the much too many injustices allowed in Canada these days too under the Conservatives and Liberals..
Especially when the Conservatives promised they would not be like the other parties.

A Quebec hospital is investigating the death of a diabetic man who died while sitting in a wheelchair in the waiting room at a Montreal emergency department.  André Desjardins, 64, went to the Maisonneuve-Rosemont Hospital on Sept. 30 by ambulance after complaining of severe pain. He already suffered from high blood pressure and was a heavy smoker, in addition to having diabetes. A doctor at the hospital saw him but Desjardins was sent back to the waiting area. As his pain worsened, family members pleaded with staff to let him lie down on a stretcher, but none was provided. Instead, hospital staff put him in a wheelchair, where he spent an estimated seven hours waiting for futher care before he died, said his relatives. Making anyone in a medical crisis wait for care in an ER makes no sense at all, and reflects Quebec’s chronic problem with emergency care, said patients’ rights advocate Paul Brunet. “We had the ultimate failure of the system with the death of this guy. We shouldn’t have to wait in an emergency ward. We should stop accepting that,” said Brunet, who heads Quebec’s Conseil de protection des malades. “Evidently that patient was gravely ill, and certainly should have been taken care of more seriously than he was.” The hospital has apologized to Desjardins’ family but won’t comment further until its internal investigation is complete. Quebec Health Minister Yves Bolduc said Tuesday that Desjardins’ death is unacceptable and regrettable, but denied that it had anything to do with the hospital operating at over-capacity. It’s not the first time a patient has died waiting in the Maisonneuve-Rosemont ER. Last February, an elderly woman suffering from Alzheimer’s disease died after waiting two hours on a stretcher in the Maisonneuve-Rosemont ER. Later reports found the hospital’s emergency ward was operating at 200 per cent capacity that day. http://ca.news.yahoo.com/s/cbc/101019/canada/canada_montreal_quebec_man_dies_in_hospital_emergency_room

The Quebec governments, politicians, police, administrators certainly are still too soft on dealing with crimes, inadequacies so is the federal government.  Imagine this thousands of people do now die in Hospitals per year because of the Hospitals inadequacies  and it still basically is allowed to happen.. even cause not too much is being done about it still too. People even die waiting in the emergency wards for years now too.   Arrest the Premier, the  Health Minister, Hospital director, the Quebec Ombudsman,  and the main Doctor at the Hospital, emergency room for criminal neglect of a sick person, after all they know about the problems for a long time  and they did nothing good about it. Just the tip of a big iceberg too.  https://thenonconformer.wordpress.com/2009/03/16/quebec-the-second-largest-province-in-canada-holds-75-seats-and-cannot-be-ignored/

OTTAWA – A consultant hired by the federal government to smooth out disagreements in a controversial Parliament Hill renovation donated money to attend a Conservative fundraiser, The Canadian Press has learned. Howie Clavier says he did nothing wrong by paying $500 to attend the fundraiser put on by a contractor because he saw it as a good opportunity to network with people involved in the West Block project. But some are questioning whether an impartial mediator and facilitator should be mixing government business with party politics

B.C. Attorney-General Mike de Jong has told reporters the government decided to cover the legal costs of approximately $6-million for David Basi and Bobby Virk after realizing that the two former political aides could not pay the bills. The government was told there’s nothing left to pursue. “Therefore the government won’t pursue what isn’t there,” Mr. de Jong said.  At first glance, it appears Mr. Basi is a man of property with significant resources to contribute to at least a sizeable portion of the cost of his legal fees. Mr. Basi, his wife Inderjit and mother Sukhbir had four houses in Victoria in 2003 that were valued at $1.2-million, according to media reports after the raid on the legislature. A year later, in March, 2004, the media reported that Mr. Basi bought five acres near Shawnigan Lake on Vancouver Island. Five months after that, Mr. Basi and his wife bought a $279,000 house in Esquimalt, the media reported. It’s not clear what happened to Mr. Basi’s real estate holdings over the years while the court case dragged onPublic records indicate Mr. Basi continues to have some real estate holdings. A search at the Land Titles Office shows Mr. Basi and his wife Inderjit currently own a house in Victoria assessed at $857,000. The B.C. assessment branch also shows Mr. Basi and his wife as the owner of a second house in Victoria, this one assessed at $518,000. http://www.theglobeandmail.com/news/national/british-columbia/real-estate-holdings-suggest-basi-has-assets/article1764610/

TORONTO — Ontario’s health bureaucracy is facing yet another scandal in the wake of more revelations of spending and procurement abuses. In a special report released Wednesday morning, Auditor-General Jim McCarter outlines numerous problems at hospitals and local health integration networks (LHINs), regional funding agencies created by the Liberal government. McCarter points to the questionable hiring of pricey consultants, many of which were sole-sourced and often not required to justify the work they did. The report details a litany of questionable consulting gigs at hospitals, including one, worth $700,000, that was so vague it didn’t even list a detailed description of services needed. Another hospital completely failed to account for a $170,000 consultant contract, and was unable to produce the initial request for proposal, the names and number of firms invited to bid, the bidders’ proposals or any evaluation criteria used to reward the contract. The same firm was retained for another, $430,000 contract. Another hospital paid $8.3 million to one consulting firm for IT services over the past three fiscal years, including $180,000 the firm charges for each consultant it provides. The auditor’s report also details questionable expense claims by hospital consultants. They include one temporary executive who, despite his $275,000 annual salary, also billed the hospital nearly $150,000 for other consultants and administrative support, $14,000 for salary bonuses, foreign exchange fees and a Christmas luncheon, and numerous expensive hotels (including one, in Chicago, where he paid $500 for hotel phone charges) and lavish meals around the world. McCarter also questioned the use of lobbyists by half the 16 hospitals he audited.   “We questioned the appropriateness of using government funds to pay lobbyists to help obtain more government funding.”Health minister Deb Matthews reacted swiftly to the report, announcing legislation that will ban the use of lobbyists and open hospitals to freedom of information legislation by January 1, 2012.  The auditor-general also found “significant” problems with consultant contracts signed by LHINs The revelations contained in Wednesday’s report are reminiscent of those unearthed last December, when Mr. McCarter detailed spending abuses at eHealth Ontario. That agency, created by the Liberal government, was found to have given millions in sole-sourced contracts to high-priced consultants with few controls and little oversight.“I’m not afraid to say that I’m really sorry this has gone on,” said Matthews. “I don’t think this is acceptable. I don’t think we’ve been as accountable as we ought to have been. We owe it to taxpayers to ensure that every dollar they spend on taxes gets the best possible value.” http://www.nationalpost.com/news/Ontario+Auditor+General+slams+hospital+lobbying/3701093/story.html

As usual; the governments do a really bad job of managing cops, civil and public servants hospitals, doctors, nurses, tax payers money and their false solution to the problem is to raise the taxes, even the indirect taxes too..

.

Did you check out the serious very large amount of alcohol consumption that was, is being carried out at the Montreal city hall where there is vast corruptions.
.
We need to also stop electing liars and alcoholics too.. be for certain there is no such thing as a little bit pregnant, and that there is a direct correlation between the people who are heavy alcohol users.. that they are the same persons who will also take bad drugs… and they will also be the same persons who also now do cheat , lie, steal, commit tax evasions.. as they have no solid morality
.
(Gal 5:19 KJV) Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, 20 Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, 21 Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God. Politicans, civil and Public servants Pigging out, living high on the hog, or getting drunk and patronistic hiring practices, are clearly an unacceptable abuse.
.
.. and you should be immiedately fired from your job, even if you are an MP, Senator, or an MPP, MLA, a cop , civil and public servant. So rightfully do Fire all the drunks, alcoholics, tax payer money abusers in the government firstly too. Seriously in the selection of the new   political candidates for federal and provincial elections, and senator snow  it would be nice also if each of the political party does also asks their people how often do they visit the bars and drink? how many martini’s they do have at lunch time?  do they eat at very expensive restaurants too? do they entertain their friends on their companies, departmental  expense accounts? or  have they ever padded, falsified their own  expenses accounts” all  too just for a start.. and do they lie to others too often too?

.
Now the Provincial Governments, tend to now want to to reduce gambling or alcohol consumption for it is a great money maker for them, and too many Canadian politicians and cops do like to booze.. The problem with the Police or Politicians consuming too much alcohol, is that alcohol not only makes you a mental retard cause it does now kills your brain cell, alcohol also kills your emotions of compassion, and reasoning ability now as well.. https://thenonconformer.wordpress.com/2009/09/02/drink-alcohol-and-die/

Hospitals in Ontario used money that should have been spent on front-line health-care services and instead awarded lucrative contracts to consultants who spent freely on travel and entertainment, the province’s auditor says. The auditor’s findings, released on Wednesday, demonstrate that Premier Dalton McGuinty has failed to impose an era of restraint within the public sector http://www.theglobeandmail.com/news/national/ontario/consultants-cashed-in-at-ontario-hospitals-report-says/article1765378/

Ontario Liberals in the dark about lobbyists? Hardly The hiring of lobbyists by publicly funded agencies, including hospitals, has been going on since Dalton McGuinty’s Liberals took office seven years ago, and long before that, as well. Some organizations will likely blur the line by hiring consultants who aren’t registered as lobbyists, but know how to work the channels. And others will get around the ban on “external” lobbyists by putting them on staff, earning six-figure salaries rather than contract fees.
 http://www.theglobeandmail.com/news/politics/adam-radwanski/ontario-liberals-in-the-dark-about-lobbyists-hardly/article1766143
.

Instead of properly managing the tax payer’s money Ontario hospitals wrongfully seem to resort to try to get more money.  Half the institutions  audited had hired lobbyists. And is this really appropriate to allow people to use taxpayers’ money to lobby for more taxpayers money? No!  The same bad Liberals never learned to do things right and honestly the first time even.. even had allow their consultant sins to go on falsely.
.

Long term care facilities in Edmonton, and across Alberta, now are raising their accommodation fees in 2010  It works out to a three percent hike, that brings the new fee to $1,700 a month.  Similar to Quebec and BC costs now too.  Ruth Adria, with the Elder Advocates of Alberta Society, says seniors still complain about the food, small portions and cramped living quarters. It’s the first increase in over two years, when a seven percent hike was approved.  Adria says a $128 million class-action lawsuit, launched after the government increased rates at long-term care homes by 40 percent in 2003, is still working its way through the courts. Quebec  has very similar health fees..
.

But here is what most citizens in Canada are really surprised, they are not even still not aware that such fees exist in the first place.. they were lied to believe that all Medicare cost was free paid by their tax dollars, and most Canadians still are not aware of this 1700 dollars per month cost per person and they do rightfully object to it when they find out about it too.
.

The Vancouver Coastal Health Authority began in July to charge patients $29 a day while they’re recovering in hospital after surgery or serious injury. The fees can add up to $900 a month, which could be especially onerous for seniors.  They are on fixed incomes,”  . “It is a financial burden and it is a lot of stress.  “They’re now receiving room and board, convalescent care and food services,”   These user fees are the same as in equivalent private care,  “The fees people are being asked to pay in a convalescent care facility are exactly the same as they would be paying if they’re subject to fees in a residential care facility,”   But the point is that patients are in public care, not residential care. “What they’re doing is taking people, who are hospital patients, and charging them fees. That’s something, in our system, we haven’t done,”  . “It’s taking people at their most vulnerable moment and charging them for it.”
 http://www.cbc.ca/canada/british-columbia/story/2010/10/20/bc-hospital-user-fees.html

.

And whose tax dollars paid for the  hospitals, doctors and nurse training  anyway? The Premier has the false nerve to tell the  taxpayers they should have to pay to use publicly funded health care.  No one should pay this additional  TAX on health care.  Hospital  patients are being well fed? Oh really, or a lot of hungry patients who can’t get so much as a cracker between meals. All the ward kitchens have been stripped and no food is available, except at meal times.  Billions and Billions for Friends, consultants, abroad too , but to hell with our sick, elderly parents and families.

.

In Quebec three quarters of appointees to the board of directors of several major corporations during the past seven years contributed money to the Quebec Liberals… many of the directors of major Crown corporations such as Hydro-Quebec, the Quebec Liquor Corp. and Loto-Quebec also contributed to the provincial Liberal party. http://ca.news.yahoo.com/s/capress/101020/national/que_liberals_patronage

Ex OPP police chief Julian Fantino  caught my attention when he clearly lied about the causes of car accidents in southern, he lied when he had said speeding is the main cause of car accidents in Ontario , he should have known better, distracted, drunk and impaired drivers, road ragers rather are the main cause of car accidents..  so next it came as no surprise to me when the Devil PM Stephen Harper himself asked Julian Fantino to become a Conservative federal MP candidate He should be right at home with the too may liars we have elected.. it seems we like to continue to elect Liars.

“In our view, the Commissioner’s behaviour and actions do not pass the test of public scrutiny and are inappropriate and unacceptable for a public servant — most notably for the Agent of Parliament specifically charged with the responsibility of upholding integrity in the public sector and of protecting public servants from reprisal,” the report says.  http://ca.news.yahoo.com/former-whistleblowers-advocate-failed-her-job-auditor-general.html

INADEQUATE JUSTICE MINISTERS AND RCMP TOO

Many of us have been reading the news, hearing on the TV radio the decades of the bad acts of the too many bad cops in Canada.. Garbage in still means garbage out.. the problem lies with the  bad managers, bad supervisors who had allowed bad cops and bad  RCMP personnel to be hired and next not properly supervised   as well.. https://thenonconformer.wordpress.com/2010/09/01/the-rcmp-is-still-the-big-bad-wolf-in-sheep-clothing/

IF  YOU REGULARLY READ MY POSTS YOU DO KNOW THAT I RIGHTFULLY   HAVE LITTLE OR NOT RESPECT  FOR MOST OF FEDERAL, PROVINCIAL JUSTICE MINISTERS, THE RCMP AND COPS IN  CANADA THE LAST 4 DECADES NOW TOO. THEY ALL HAVE TO EARN MY RESPECT.. THEY SEEM TO FALL SHORT too often too . https://thenonconformer.wordpress.com/2010/10/25/canadas-bad-police-officers/

The Nova Scotia Police Review Board is hearing allegations of gun mishaps, drug use and inappropriate sexual behaviour among some RCMP officers whose former commander is now the province’s justice minister. The allegations are contained in an anonymous letter that was made public Monday at the hearing of Ambrose Heighton, a former police chief of the Town of Stellarton. Heighton claims he was fired two years ago because he complained about RCMP in Pictou County. He is appealing his dismissal to the police review board. Two letters were presented at his hearing Monday in Stellarton. In one letter, Heighton complained about a poisoned relationship between the RCMP and municipal police departments. He claimed publicity-seeking Mounties overrode the wishes of the Canadian military at the funeral of Cpl. Kevin Megeney, a local soldier killed in Afghanistan in March 2007. He said they provided a guard of honour just to get their picture in the media. Heighton also forwarded an anonymous letter to the Department of Justice. In it, the writer alleges sexually inappropriate conduct at a private party attended by RCMP members, as well as cocaine use. There are also claims that an off-duty RCMP officer dropped a service pistol while jogging and another lent a prohibited weapon to a girlfriend. The letter also alleges that the RCMP district commander staff sergeant at the time, Ross Landry, was aware of these claims and did nothing about them.   Landry,  was named justice minister after the June 2009 election,  The justice minister usually is responsible for the police review board. But Landry has been relieved of this responsibility until a decision is made on Heighton’s case. Six complaints were filed against Heighton in November 2007. He was fired in October 2008 after the RCMP officers named in the anonymous letter complained to Stellarton’s police commission. The officers named in the letter tried to prevent it from being made public, but lost their fight. RCMP Staff Sgt. Jim Gillis carried out a code-of-conduct review of the RCMP officers. He testified Monday there was a discussion with Landry about his inaction in disciplining members. The RCMP said it would be inappropriate to comment on the results of its investigation into the anonymous allegations.  http://ca.news.yahoo.com/s/cbc/101005/canada/canada_novascotia_ns_police_stellarton_landry

It is a sad fact of life that even in Quebec that unless you are murdered, violently treated, that when you are abused, robbed, slandered, mistreated, or whatever do not expect the pretentious governments to come to your help or the pretentious self servicing  police for generally you are on your own..The governments and the police mostly will not solve any problems because for the most part they are the cause of the continuation of most of the problems. They and their related civil and public servants  are liars and thieves who even falsely do  take the tax payers pay, money for managing the heath care system but next instead do almost  nothing good in reality..

Prime Minister of Canada announces legacy gift to Michaëlle Jean Foundation

Prime Minister Stephen Harper today recognized the contributions made by Her Excellency the Right Honourable Michaëlle Jean during her tenure as Canada’s 27th Governor General.  In keeping with the tradition of honouring outgoing Governors General, the Prime Minister announced that the Government of Canada will be supporting the Michaëlle Jean Foundation as its legacy gift to Her Excellency the Right Honourable Michaëlle Jean.  “As Canada’s 27th Governor General, Her Excellency the Right Honourable Michaëlle Jean has distinguished herself through her engagement with Canadians and her compassion and leadership in responding to the earthquake in Haiti,” said Prime Minister Harper.  “I am proud to announce support today for the Michaëlle Jean Foundation, which will help more young people become active citizens in their communities.”  The Government of Canada will be providing $3 million in support of the Michaëlle Jean Foundation, a non-profit organization that will promote citizen engagement through the arts and creativity, with a special emphasis on youth from underprivileged, rural and northern communities in Canada.  The Government will also match funds raised privately by the foundation, to a maximum of $7 million over a ten-year period. Since the 1960s, the Government of Canada has honoured former Governors General by helping them contribute to Canadian society by supporting the initiatives they pursued while in office. http://www.pm.gc.ca/eng/media.asp?category=1&pageId=26&id=3681

When I see in comparison TO THESE MERE 3 MILLION DOLLARS NOW  as to how much the government of Canada now still spends on entertainment booze, alcohol I can see where their wrong priorities now still is.. and cops falsely are still mainly going after the car speeders, the money making generating revenues and not the drunk drivers who cause the majority of the accidents too..  You know I get a kick out of those lying spin  doctors,  police officers, bad cops, union representatives, police lovers, bad PERSONS   who STILL DO say that ALL OF  bad people, INCLUDING the ALCOHOLICS, the bad cops and their bad supervisors too they  can always be rehabilitated, retrained.. and how many millions of them now has this happened to them.. almost none.. a bad apple tends to get worse.. The RCMP maximum 10 days punishment is always absurd, permanent dismissal is what is always needed with the bad cops and their clearly bad superiors who had managed and hired them too.. Bad solicitor generals as well should be fired ASAP.

Alcohol is more dangerous than illegal drugs like heroin and crack cocaine, according to a new study.Heroin, crack cocaine and methamphetamine, or crystal meth, were the most lethal to individuals.

Provincial Governments, cops too  do not want to reduce gambling or alcohol consumption for it is a great money maker for them, and too many Canadian politicians and cops do like to booze..

Don’t be also absurd and say that one man the RCMP boss alone was, is the problem, even  the last many many decades.. the RCMP officers and all of their bad superiors were, are rather the problems still. I have been rightfully complaining about the too often  bad, drunk, cost ineffective, pretentious  RCMP for over 25 years ever since they had abused me in the Canmore Alberta and othe places too.. even with their revenue generating money pit where they make for decades annualy millions and millions of dollars from tourist  leaving the Banff park, or going to an airport.

NOW WHY IS IT BAD PEOPLE DO NOT CHANGE NEXT BESIDE THE FACT THEY LIKE TO DO BAD THINGS, IT IS ALSO CAUSE THEY FALSELY  REFUSE TO ADMIT THE THINGS THEY DO ARE BAD.

Accountablity?

Dream on..

The Commission for Public Complaints against the RCMP will appoint an independent civilian to investigate the Aug. 18 incident, involving four Mounties, two civilian jail guards and another civilian employee. The four Mounties have been suspended without pay and face an internal code-of-conduct investigation likley 10 days with pay if anything at all.. The three civilian employees are also the subject of an investigation by the City of Kamloops. All face possible criminal charges. http://www.theprovince.com/life/Jail+complaint+sparks+inquiry/3595125/story.html

Foolish, perverse cops who cannot do thier job. How about having now some real professionalism. Fire all of them B.C. jail cell sex video amongst 2 prisoners triggers inquiry, more costs. The officers, four Mounties, who include a corporal with 20 years experience on the force, are alleged to have watched the encounter through a video monitor for as long as seven minutes without intervening. Clearly the prison regulations refrains any prisoners of having any type of relationship with another prisoner or anyone else in jail whether or not they are male or female A whole ineffective, often pretentions too commission, and more wasted tax payers money for the obvious, to deal with bad RCMP bad supervisors who had failed to do their supervisory jobs and immoral cops, bad employees, and they all firstly should be fired immediately.. And we pay these fools. Who is the idiot not firing them. Will the all the paid “investigators”, reviewers now have to look at the video tape? What will we do after they watch it? Have another inquiry to determine if them watching the tape was a justifiable breach also of someone’s “constitutional rights to privacy”? Then what?? A lawsuit? And/or another multi-million dollar public inquiry, that can last months or years and cost taxpayers millions? Only in Canada! Not surprised, this is our new RCMP’s, and their bad managers, bad solicitor generals too…welcome to the new Conservative world.. and who can we trust now to be decent. professional and do the job…. https://thenonconformer.wordpress.com/2010/09/15/they-are-covering-up-for-their-own-again/

DON’T BE STUPID AND BELIEVE ALL THE LYING SPINS AS TO WHY IT TAKES SO LONG TO INVESTIGATE THE BAD COPS.. I have had many experiences in laying simple complaints against bad cops that never got anywhere cause the investigators were clearly pretenders.. in Contrast the investigations of all citizens clearly would not take so long..

Decades and decades later the police are still  covering up for their own again and again but the police are not the only bad professionals who do this these days as well, so do the Hospitals, doctors, nurses, civil and public servants, governments…
When it comes to dealing with the rightful needs, complaints of the ordinary citizens our Canadian civil and public servants, politicians and their representatives too, and most church pastors now too, they are still mostly unacceptable liars and  PRETENDERS, LAZY, GOOD FOR NOTHING PERSONS,  and that has been mostly my undeniable experiences the last 4 decades now too..  How about having now some real professionalism.

High costs of RCMP contracts irk civic politicians. RCMP costs are up. The RCMP are certainly cost ineffective, over priced for the too little they do too often as well, and the governments cannot or dare not manage directly, review their actual expenses, related efficiencies too. Putting money into a leaky pail full of holes is still really bad management.
http://www.vancouversun.com/news/High+costs+RCMP+contracts+civic+politicians/3595389/story.html
http://www.bclocalnews.com/bc_north/lakesdistrictnews/news/103893184.html

The mostly still for decades too white English speaking RCMP who have yet to implement the federal mandatory bilingual policies, meaning French and English, is pretending it cares about the minorities.. Royal Canadian Mounted Police Commissioner William Elliott announced sweeping reforms in the country’s police force. The changes range from a reshuffle of officers to new uniform and recruitment of non-white and non-male Mounties, a revision of its recruitment policies. Instead of hiring mostly male, white applicants, the RCMP would use a new quota system that would result to 30 percent women cadets, 20 percent visible minorities and 10 percent aboriginals. They next likley will not get the reserved raises or promotions.

Ex-B.C. solicitor general Kash Heed disturbed by RCMP contract renewal talk Former West Vancouver police chief Vancouver-Fraserview Liberal MLA revealed “disturbing” developments in the talks. Heed recalled that as solicitor general, he had worked to include “critical clauses” in a new contract in order to make the RCMP accountable to citizens of B.C. “I’m hearing that…critical clauses that I argued for are no longer on the table during the negotiations,” Heed said. “And so I’m the first one to come out and say that we need to re-look this contract if those critical clauses are not in the contract.” http://www.straight.com/article-349697/vancouver/exbc-solicitor-general-kash-heed-disturbed-rcmp-contract-renewal-talks

So 60 percent of BC citizens want another police force in place..

Meanwhile in the East Quebec premier Charest defends his screening of judges. http://www.nationalpost.com/news/canada/Charest+defends+screening+judges/3577546/story.html

QUEBEC – A senior aide to Jean Charest, in testimony , told a public inquiry that the premier demanded to be kept in the loop during the selection process for judges. She also said she took it upon herself to make a note of which candidates for the bench were known supporters of Charest’s Quebec Liberal party. Chantal Landry, the longtime director of appointments in the premier’s office, said she would place a post-it note on the file of prospective judges who were known to support the Liberals. The premier — in testimony last week that observers had deemed solid — said candidates’ political leanings had no bearing on their likelihood of being named to the bench. But Landry raised some eyebrows Monday by explaining that the premier asked to see the files of potential judges before the justice minister could name them. She said she didn’t know whether that policy represented a switch from what previous governments had done. “It was probably around that time (that we took office in 2003) that he told me, ‘I want to be consulted on the recommendation of judges, the recommendation of the justice minister,'” Landry said. “So we then established a way of proceeding.” Landry admitted that a candidate’s political affiliation was one of several criteria in the selection process, along with their age and years of experience. And she said she kept Charest informed. “If they were a Liberal sympathizer, if I thought they were one, then yes, I mentioned it,” Landry testified. .
http://ca.news.yahoo.com/s/capress/100928/national/que_judges_probe

Now I have seen the same corruption before with the clearly the crooked Pastor of a south Calgary Church, who used his influence and supposed right to remove all of his unwanted candidates nominated by the congregation by the pastors first prescreening their spiritual qualifications and next to put into place his own preference, favorites for head elder and head deacon. He the pastor next suddenly resigned from the church he founded when his corruptions was exposed by me. I have also seen crooked political nomination in a provincial election too in Canmore Alberta.. Anyone foolish to believe all leaders have honest acts and motives? http://anyonecare.wordpress.com/2008/07/12/bad-pastors-bad-deacons-bad-elders-bad-church/

Where would Maclean’s have Quebecers turn? I had interpreted that as to what other province now was better even.. Certainly not Ontario, BC, Alberta, any of the eastern or western provinces.. having said that I do not deny the corruptions within Quebec that has been going on for decades, including  now  do note  the type of  typical useless Liberal Quebec justice minister replies I get to my letters to him and all year now  but I also do get no real actions still and why is that? do I have to give a bribe to premier Jean Charest or the Liberal party? If the Justice Minister is visibly unacceptably useless and what do you think the rest of them there are now like like the health and social welfare minister now too, or my MLA ? None of them are any better as you know per my last year dealings with many of them now too. Unacceptable!

By the way those federal Conservatives  are no better I still get calls on my phone from sales companies even though I had asked for them to stop .

https://thenonconformer.wordpress.com/2010/09/23/thenonconformer/

Federal Tories plan to push for tougher penalty laws is a bust since the Police, RCMP included DO NOT EVEN ENFORCE EXISTING LAWS TOO OFTEN FOR DECADES NOW TOO..
what the Tories need to do first is to improve the existing management of all police personnel, supervisions and related resources.

No wonder the Liberal premier of BC Gordon Campbell was forced to resign unexpectedly. What the justice ministers, government of BC, Canada cannot see how damaging such publicity is to BC, Canada  world wide, Citizens tend to have long and unforgiving memories too. Police need the respect of citizens nor rather their fears to do their jobs well. BC now also has the bad reputation of  the most custody deaths in Canada, and the worst RCMP force as well.

Follow the money trail, one of the oldest rules of good journalism, it will tell you how effective the ministers, cops, RCMP, civil and publkic servants, professionasl,  now really are too.

Public exposure and prosecution of the guilty is one of the best approach serving everyone’s best interest too. http://postedat.wordpress.com/2009/03/24/the-police-cannot-get-the-crimminals/  http://postedat.wordpress.com/2009/08/26/revenue-generating-traffic-tickets/

Almost since my first job after graduating from university in Montreal I had next learned that people are not to be trusted, need to be supervised, and corruption still exists Canada wide too in construction, universities, municipalities, governments, corporations, amongst professionals and politicians as well.

And hey I really rightfully do get upset with the bad people who cover up for the  bad pastors, bad civil and public servants, bad cops.. and those who try to obstruct justice by trying to get rid of my posts like the bad RCMP too. Now do not be absurd and tell me that all of the professionals are good persons..

And tell the RCMP to leave my web pages alone.. I have about 30 internet sites and the internet pages that are troubled are the ones solely about the bad  RCMP or have cartoons about the bad RCMP

Decades and decades later the police Canada wide too are still covering up for their own again and again but the police are not the only bad professionals who do this these days as well, so do the Hospitals, doctors, nurses, civil and public servants, governments… When it comes to dealing with the rightful needs, complaints of the ordinary citizens our Canadian civil and public servants, politicians and their representatives too, and most church pastors now too, they are still mostly unacceptable liars and PRETENDERS, LAZY, GOOD FOR NOTHING PERSONS, and that has been mostly my undeniable experiences the last 4 decades now too..

Lie all you want but you cannot deny the truth as to how corrupt Quebec even now is too.. The truth about Quebec also now being corrupt is undeniable.. No I do not believe that the corruption in Quebec is worst over any other provinces.. it likley is all the same. I went to get my motorcycle fixed recently in Montreal and three times I encountered, corrupt, incompetent mechanics, and one even smoked and distributed pot while I was there. The Quebec governments, politicians, police, administrators certainly are still too soft on dealing with crimes, inadequacies BUT so is the federal government.

Now enough is enough.. we always still do need proper governments, proper ministers, proper civil and public servants doing their jobs in all areas. It seems now also very funny to me that valid recent statistic on the number of people dying in Canada annually with cancer, heart attack, alcoholism, drug abuse, hospital acquired infections, etc are not available readily indicating that the governments don’t really care about the citizens good welfare.

Now about the abortion of adults, seniors… Too many doctors, nurses, medical staff in Canada in reality they do not do all they can to help a sick persons and do instead let them rather suffer, die due to the incompetence, neglect, laziness, indifference of the medical workers, unions, self regulating medical societies. It is still a criminal act now for any doctor, nurse, hospital administrators, medical supervisor not to provide medical care to any seniors. How many have been prosecuted for this in the last year? and also for tax evasions.. a very common aspect here too.

Accountablity? « Dream on..

It is undeniable that Justice, accountability is clearly lack in Canada due to the too often poor, pretentious police services, bad RCMP, bad federal and provincial governments, bad justice ministers, bad civil and public servants and a bad prime minister now too! Anywhere I go I can easily encounter the corruptions in business now as well, the cheating, lying, misrepresentations.. and the buck passing in the governments civil and public services now too. Who sets the bad example? the MPs do not want to reveal their expense accounts details still too..

About $200-million worth of eye-popping expenses, racked up primarily by the RCMP and the Public Works Department, were disclosed by the government late Thursday in response to a query by a Liberal MP. Opposition parties demanded that the government come clean on the details of the remaining $1-billion in summit costs. Deputy Liberal Leader Ralph Goodale scoffed at the government’s justification for the summit expenditures disclosed so far. He said many were “astronomical” and unrelated to securing the sites or protecting world leaders. “The expenditures that have been reported are grossly extravagant and, in some cases, ridiculous, dealing with bug spray and sunscreen and glow sticks and that sort of … trivia.” Then there was $14,000 on glow sticks, $85,000 for snacks at Toronto’s swank Park Hyatt hotel, $14,300 for bug jackets, $26,000 for mosquito traps and $334,000 for “personal outdoor kits” that included sunscreen, insect repellent and hand sanitizer. http://www.theglobeandmail.com/news/politics/tories-wont-apologize-for-g8-g20-tab/article1725335/

The majority of the taxpayers are not being fooled, rather they are upset at the taxpayer’s money abuses. The confirmed tax payer’s money abuses, wastes wastes on the G8, G20 tab comes as no surprise to me even. With all it’s lying promises, the new federal Conservative government and it’s related civil services are both still unable and falsely even unwilling to to hold any one accountable for the abuse of the taxpayers monies starting with all of the civil and public servants, the police, RCMP and also now the medical workers as well. I also now knew as well even beforehand that the police unacceptably would abuse the budget beforehand and simply why is cause they have always done it, the Police and the RCMP itself are not cost effective. All this abuse is unacceptable and should prosecuted as a criminal act.

I am opinionated realist , meaning I write about what I seen, read, know for sure.. it is not mere speculation, wishful thinking or fantasy.https://thenonconformer.wordpress.com/2010/05/06/thenonconformer%e2%80%99s-canadian-blog/

I write about Mostly Canadian issues involving ethics, morality, justice, fairness, honesty, decency of course.

I write things like

They are covering up for their own again Decades and decades later the police are still covering up for their own again and again but the police are not the only bad professionals who do this these days as well, so do the Hospitals, doctors, nurses, civil and public servants, governments… When it comes to dealing with the rightful needs, complaints of the ordinary citizens our Canadian civil and public servants, politicians and their representatives too, and most church pastors now too, they are still mostly unacceptable liars and PRETENDERS, LAZY, GOOD FOR NOTHING PERSONS, and that has been mostly my undeniable experiences the last 4 decades now too.. What should not come as a surprise to anyone in Canada is how many of the cops still do drink and drive drunk next still.. RCMP included, and why so many cops do not prosecute any other drunk drivers even all year.. and what else in the unacceptable perversities? https://thenonconformer.wordpress.com/2010/09/15/they-are-covering-up-for-their-own-again/

– RCMP officer threatened critic.

– Canada’s Health Care fiascos The too often immoral, incompetent, pretentious Conservative Harper government falsely passes the buck, passes it’s responsibility to the provinces, when it come to dealing with the inadequacies of Medicare, and this is always unacceptable. Accountability is a non existent word here too.. https://thenonconformer.wordpress.com/2010/02/15/quebec-doctors-want-a-legal-pardon-for-their-murders-of-citizens-patients/

Harper’s government ignores the looming health care crisis https://thenonconformer.wordpress.com/2010/09/01/canadas-health-care-fiascos/

-The Quebec governments, politicians, police, administrators certainly are still too soft on dealing with crimes, inadequacies BUT so is the federal government. CANADA’S PRIME MINISTER STEPHEN HARPER HAS A DIFFICULT BALANCING ACT TO DO.. HE HAS TO PLEASE also BC, NATIVES, ESKIMOS, THE WEST, ONTARIO, QUEBEC, AND THE MARITIMES, INCLUDING NEWFOUNDLAND TOO. HE PLEASES ONE AND IT TEND TO MAKE SOMEONE ELSEWHERE UPSET. SO HE WRONGFULLY FAILS TO ACT PROPERLY TOO OFTEN. While Automobile traffic accidents are the number one cause of death for Americans, Canadians ages 3 to 33 ad while Automobile traffic accidents are the most common source of personal injury the real Statistics still indicate that hospital deaths due to hospital acquired sickness, medical errors, medical negligence exceedingly surpass all of these numbers. And yet here not enough is being done about this and why is that? One of the too many false reasons too many patients die in Hospitals is that almost none of the medical staff feel any personal, real, negative repercussions themselves. That also includes the too many bad cops we seem to have now too, and bad civil and public servants too, bad politicians.. Racist Quebecers, Politicians and Ministers tend to be guilty of false partiality, are too soft on crimes made by other Quebecers and they do falsely still do prefer to prosecute the federalists, the English Canadians even those in other provinces. Explains clearly why very few Quebec Ministers bother to write to me for a start, and why the Quebec Police are too often lazy, no good cops… but the feds, politicians, civil and public servants included, are not any better it seems https://thenonconformer.wordpress.com/2010/07/19/it-is-still-a-criminal-act-now / https://thenonconformer.wordpress.com/2009/03/16/quebec-the-second-largest-province-in-canada-holds-75-seats-and-cannot-be-ignored/  https://thenonconformer.wordpress.com/2010/09/03/racist-quebecers-politicians-and-ministers-tend-to-be-too-soft-on-crimes /

– Big bad Mother Bell is still so greedy Bell is still undeniable guilty of bait and switch, false misleading trade, advertising practices. Bell was and is a king in misleading others. When Bell advertise something is free, it is not free forever, or when Bell advertise a very low price, it is generally always too good to be true, for what Bell gives with one hand it soon takes away with the other hand.. Bell’s fixed contracts are a one way deal, fixed for Bell’s purposes only. Readily and often changed to suit Bell’s purposes mostly and changed without the customer’s prior approval now too. It is what Bell does not tell you that also now counts and can be really negative upon you and your Bell services.. Their support services are undeniably too often really bad when you need them. But we all seem to know next the hard way that you cannot believe what you hear and read these days especially in advertising, or even in the news or from Ottawa too. https://thenonconformer.wordpress.com/2010/07/21/bell-is-still-undeniable-guilty-of-bait-and-switch-false-misleading-trade-advertising-practices/  https://thenonconformer.wordpress.com/2010/02/20/bell-canada-recently-is-so-ready-to-sue-others-first-needs-to-sue-itself/  Bell that tends loves to pretend it is poor and to to complain about it’s competition has managed to spend billions of dollars to buy the CTV networks still https://thenonconformer.wordpress.com/2010/09/01/big-bad-mother-bell-is-still-so-greedy / So much for any promised Consumer protection.. Advertising Standards Canada https://thenonconformer.wordpress.com/2010/01/18/so-much-for-any-promised-consumer-protecton / Now I rightfully really hate business firms like Bell and others that falsely think a contract is a one sided deal that insures they always get paid and falsely forget about the customers’ right as Bell does too often as I have detailed many time now too.. Consumers, customers have legal rights!!! https://thenonconformer.wordpress.com/2008/04/27/basic-contract-law/

– Even Heaven awaits the Jewish return TO God, Jesus Christ, and rather NOT TO THE PROMISED EARTHLY LAND Undeniably God gave the promise land to Abraham and his decedents almost forever.. but none of this justifies any of the bad acts carried out by Jews or Arabs or anyone else. NOW WE VALID CHRISTIANS DO BASE THE VALID DOCTRINES ON THE NEW TESTAMENT SUBSTANTIATION BY JESUS OR THE APOSTLES, NOT JUST ON THE OLD TESTAMENT REFERENCES.. BY THE WAY THERE ALSO IS NO NEW TESTAMENT REFERENCE, THAT SUBSTANTIATED THE 3RD JEWISH RETURN TO THE HOLY LAND, THE PROMISE LAND. http://postedat.wordpress.com/2008/12/09/what-the-bible-says-about-israel-and-the-church  https://thenonconformer.wordpress.com/2010/08/09/even-heaven-awaits-jewish-return-to-god-jesus-christ-and-rather-not-to-the-promised-earthly-land/  https://thenonconformer.wordpress.com/2010/06/16/what-the-canadian-conservatives-do-not-say-about-israel/  http://mccainvrsobama.wordpress.com/2010/09/23/even-as-to-the-promised-land/

In Canada a majority of Canadians tend to worship the professionals as Gods AND ACT LIKE OSTRICHES. At least 60 percent of them.. 40 percent do not. Now if you are a typical inexperienced young person, or an ostrich, who cannot face negative realties, tend to be in denial, you can rather see my cartoons, or go to my wallpaper sites. https://thenonconformer.wordpress.com/2009/06/06/canadian-editorial-cartoons-v/

EDMONTON (CBC) – An Edmonton police officer was charged Thursday with two counts of assault following the arrest of a man in June.  Const. Haoyin Zheng, 30, was suspended with pay on June 16, after EPS received an internal complaint. He remains off-duty. Police allege Zheng used excessive force while detaining and handcuffing a man at a home at 12th Avenue and 156th Street on June 6. He is scheduled to appear in court on Nov. 17. Zheng is waiting for his trial to resume later this year on unrelated assault charges that were laid after he was accused of beating two men during a traffic stop in December 2008.

They are covering up for their own again

 https://thenonconformer.wordpress.com/2010/11/26/canadas-justice-reviews-are-still-a-big-farce/

VICTORIA – A retired B.C. judge has ruled two Victoria police officers abused their authority when they left a teenaged girl tethered in a jail cell for several hours five years ago. Allan Filmer, who headed a public hearing into the incident, has ordered written reprimands be given to constables Ryan O’Neil and Brian Asmussen. Fifteen-year-old Willow Kinloch was arrested in 2005 for being drunk in public and placed in a cell, where police claimed she became verbally abusive and combative. Video from her cell shows her being wrestled to the floor by two officers, tied up and then tethered for four hours to the door of the padded cell. Kinloch was awarded $60,000 after a civil trial, although Victoria police and the City of Victoria appealed, eventually leading to an out-of-court settlement. The public hearing was ordered by the Office of the B.C. Police Complaint Commissioner after a Victoria Police Department investigation and separate review found the allegations against the two officers were unsubstantiated. (CFAX) http://ca.news.yahoo.com/s/capress/100929/national/tethered_teen_hearing  and yeah we all do seem to know what Police reviews are like.. masturbations..

BCCLA supports RCMP complaints body that RCMP not self-investigate The BCCLA endorsed a key recommendation that the RCMP no longer investigate itself in today’s report by the Commission for Public Complaints Against the RCMP (CPC) into the death of Robert Dziekanski at Vancouver International Airport.  “The report finds that the investigation was flawed in many respects, including that the supervising officer at the scene of the death was present at the briefing of the investigative team,” said Robert Holmes, President of the BCCLA. “With these kinds of persistent and obvious problems with RCMP investigations, it would be difficult for the CPC to come to any other recommendation.”  The CPC, the police chiefs of British Columbia, and the B.C. Civil Liberties Association and other key police accountability organizations now all agree that the RCMP, along with municipal police forces in B.C., can no longer investigate themselves and at the same time maintain public confidence in their work.   “The ‘integrated’ team that investigated the Dziekanski death were all RCMP officers,” said Holmes. “This is the team that was called in to show the independence of the investigative process when someone dies in RCMP custody. The government needs to act now to ensure that there are no more flawed investigations when people die at the hands of the police, and that these obvious conflicts of interest are addressed.”  http://www.bccla.org/pressreleases/09CPC.html

BCCLA calls for independent review of three police deaths in ten months The BCCLA is seeking an independent review into how three men could die in a period of just ten months in police cells in Saskatoon, a city of 257,000 residents. In comparison, Vancouver, which is twice as large as Saskatoon, has had no deaths in its cells to the knowledge of the Association since the death of Daniel Serbeh on December 7, 2007.  “If three men die in ten months at any facility whose mandate is not primary health care, the government should demand answers,” said Jason Gratl, Vice-President of the BCCLA. “If the Saskatoon police can’t keep their charges alive, Saskatoon residents deserve an independent review that explains why people in custody keep dying and how Police can put a stop to it.”  Christopher Jason Hiebert (September 9, 2009), Brandon Travis Daniels (July 2, 2010), and a man whose name was not released (July 16, 2010) died in Saskatchewan Police Service custody between September 2009 and July 2010. Daniels, the most recent death, was a 19-year-old first nations man arrested while visiting friends in Saskatoon.  According to media reports, the Saskatoon Police Service recently ordered an internal review of its detention practices in the wake of Daniels’ death.  “All deaths in police custody have a public dimension, but three deaths in the space of less than a year is a public emergency,” says Gratl.  “This problem should not be under wraps.” Read the BCCLA’s letter to the Saskatchewan Public Complaints Commission here >>  http://www.bccla.org/pressreleases/10Saskatchewan.html

Conflict between RCMP and aboriginal community in Williams Lake must be investigated and resolved, says BCCLA The B.C. Civil Liberties Association is pointing to three videos of problematic encounters between aboriginal people and Williams Lake RCMP, a local business owner’s complaint about racism that was apparently never investigated, and the actions of the detachment head in cutting off a local media outlet that tried to tell a story about the issue as evidence of a major problem in the community. “We’re seeing video of aboriginal people tied to a chair for hours, tackled when sitting on a bench by multiple RCMP officers, including the head of the detachment, and being punched for refusing to immediately respond to commands. We’re hearing that media outlets that try to report on RCMP and aboriginal relationships are being cut off from receiving press releases. A business owner said RCMP officers were harassing his aboriginal customers and apparently nobody investigated that allegation. Something is really, really wrong in Williams Lake,” says Robert Holmes, President of the BCCLA.  The BCCLA has written a letter to the Chair of the Commission for Public Complaints Against the RCMP, the Solicitor General of B.C. and the head of the RCMP in B.C., Gary Bass to ask them to act immediately to replace the detachment head in Williams Lake and begin repairing community relations there. Williams Lake was the subject of a provincial inquiry called the Cariboo-Chilcotin Justice Inquiry in 1993 that made extensive recommendations around reforming policing and police/aboriginal relationships in the area. “In 1993, Judge Anthony Sarich presented his final report of the Cariboo-Chilcotin Justice Inquiry. The Inquiry explored the relationship with Indigenous Peoples of the Cariboo-Chilcotin and the B.C. justice system.  Judge Sarich noted that at the first meeting with Chiefs and community members, he was challenged with the question ‘Why should we trust you?’ All these years later, the question still resonates,” said Grand Chief Stewart Phillip President of the Union of BC Indian Chiefs.  “When officers entrusted with the safety of all conduct themselves in the manner displayed in the Gilbert and Billy videos, the work of the Cariboo-Chilcotin Justice Inquiry did not change the justice system in Williams Lake. The Indigenous leadership will not stand idly by and watch justice be denied. RCMP must fix women’s rights violations in Kamloops jail Following news of allegations of voyeuristic activities by male RCMP and civilian guards at the RCMP lockup in Kamloops, the BCCLA is calling for improved conditions in the women’s cells in the city, including basic things like female guards for female prisoners and access to showers. The group says the conditions in the cells are discriminatory, as male prisoners have access to these basic services and women don’t. “When we were on our northern tour, we heard about abysmal conditions for women in RCMP cells in Kamloops,” said David Eby, Executive Director of the BCCLA. “No showers, no visitors other than lawyers, no toothbrushing for up to five days in RCMP cells. Men get daily showers, family visits and visits from advocacy groups in a fully equipped facility. We were going to wait for our final report to raise this issue, but given these new developments, we expect the RCMP to act now to at least provide women equal access to services.”  The BCCLA says that during its visit in Kamloops this past month, local non-profit service providers told the Association that women are regularly watched by men even while using the washroom. The BCCLA also heard that service providers are routinely barred from bringing women feminine hygiene supplies and new clothes for court. The service providers also told the Association that because there is no women’s remand facility in the city, and that the closest full remand facility for women is in Prince George or Surrey, women prisoners only get access to showers one day per week.  “There is no excuse for having exclusively male guards guarding female prisoners, or that women can’t shower or brush their teeth for five days, or that women can’t make themselves presentable for court, or that men aren’t treated in the same way,” said Eby. “The RCMP should have seen issues like this most recent one coming a mile away, and we hope they make the general conditions for women in cells in Kamloops a priority in their current investigation.”  http://www.bccla.org/pressreleases/10Kamloops.html

How about having now some real professionalism. https://thenonconformer.wordpress.com/2010/09/25/accountablity/

What should not come as a surprise to anyone in Canada is how many of the cops still do  drink and drive drunk next still.. RCMP included, and why so many cops do not prosecute any other drunk drivers even all year.. and what else in the unacceptable perversties?
OTTAWA – The RCMP has been sitting on a pile of complaint findings for months, sparking concern about timely justice for those who have grievances against the national police force. The Commission for Public Complaints Against the RCMP says that as of last week it had been waiting 300 days or more for final signoff from the Mounties on 11 complaint investigations. Among them was a high-profile probe into the case of Robert Dziekanski, who died after being stunned with a Taser at Vancouver airport in October 2007. Another 11 reports have been on the RCMP’s desk for between 180 and 300 days, while a further 22 were sent to the force between 30 and 180 days ago. The Mounties say they’ve simply been too busy with the Olympics and international leaders’ summits to keep up.

Among the other reports awaiting an RCMP response are the commission’s probes of:

– The RCMP arrest of Robert Knipstrom of Chilliwack, B.C., who died in hospital in November 2007 days after being Tasered, pepper sprayed and hit with a baton;

– The Mounties’ investigation into how a Conservative MP listened in on a 2008 conference call of the federal NDP caucus

.. the lack of legislated time limits for the RCMP to respond to interim complaint findings was “an intolerable situation.” http://ca.news.yahoo.com/s/capress/100914/national/rcmp_complaints_backlog

RCMP discipline process can drag on for years, documents show.  OTTAWA — The longest wait, right now, is six years.  The country’s storied national police force is slowly processing internal affairs cases, considered serious and disgraceful, against more than 110 RCMP officers, some of whom have waited a long time to defend themselves at formal disciplinary hearings.  In fact, 107 of the internal disciplinary cases against RCMP officers have not even been scheduled to be heard, according to documents obtained by the Ottawa Citizen. The allegations include accusations of using the RCMP database to spy on an ex-girlfriend’s new lover, assaulting a pregnant woman, drugging and raping a woman, groping fellow Mounties and reckless use of force. Although the formal disciplinary hearings are public, the Mounties do not, as a matter of course, publicize the allegations until a hearing, presided over by senior officers, is convened. There are at least 47 RCMP officers on suspension with pay awaiting their fate — including some who collect their salaries even though they have already admitted gross misconduct. Some RCMP officers, for various reasons, have been waiting up to six years for their disciplinary hearings to be held. Earlier this year, RCMP Commissioner William Elliott told an Ottawa Citizen editorial board that internal discipline moves at a “glacial” pace.  Elliott, the force’s first civilian commissioner, said the process is too slow, cumbersome and “far too legalistic.”  The commissioner also said the force needs to revise the array of sanctions.  As it stands now, the RCMP brass, by law, can punish its bad-apple officers by docking them 10 days pay. Short of dismissal, that’s the harshest penalty.   http://www.vancouversun.com/news/RCMP+discipline+process+drag+years+documents+show/3542034/story.html

EDMONTON (CBC) – Alberta’s Law Enforcement Review Board has ordered Edmonton’s police chief to charge an officer with using excessive force for deploying a stun gun on a man four times during an arrest in December 2003. The ruling, released Tuesday, directs Chief Mike Boyd to charge Const. Aubrey Zalaski with unlawful or unnecessary exercise of authority under the Police Service Regulation. The ruling came after the board heard a complaint from Timothy Ferguson filed after a 2008 internal police investigation found there wasn’t enough evidence to convict any of the officers involved in his arrest. The board also found the police internal investigation into the matter to be inadequate

Likley not the first time too.. Not charged for drunk driving, and why was that?? How many more get away with it too?

NOVA. SCOTIA (CBC) – An investigation into a complaint laid in July regarding a strip search at the RCMP detachment in Port Hawkesbury, N.S., is still ongoing.  Patricia Bernard alleges that on May 26 she was strip searched three times by a female officer with male officers present.   http://ca.news.yahoo.com/s/cbc/100921/canada/canada_novascotia_ns_strip_search_rcmp

EDMONTON (CBC) – A veteran Edmonton police sergeant was demoted a rank Tuesday after he was found guilty of discreditable conduct for drinking and driving and then lying to his superior about it. Randy Goss was demoted to constable at a disciplinary hearing Tuesday. The punishment will last for two years and amounts to a $30,000 loss in pay. But the fact is he was not charged with impaired driving here” The police association is looking at its options for appealing the sentence

How long does it take to look into a simple matter, as long as the police do hope everyone will forget about it..

NOW WHY IS IT BAD PEOPLE DO NOT CHANGE NEXT BESIDE THE FACT THE LIKE TO DO BAD THINGS, IT IS ALSO CAUSE THEY FALSELY  REFUSE TO ADMIT THE THINGS THEY DO ARE BAD.

My many experiences with this pretentious board is that it itself covers up too often for the bad cops..  The police are not the only ones who stall and wrongfully cover-up for their buddies..  Almost since my first job after graduating from university I had learned that people are not to be trusted, need to be supervised, and corruption still exists in construction, universities, municipalities, governments, corporations, amongst professionals and politicians as well.

Wed Apr 21, 7:42 PM  By The Canadian Press   OTTAWA – The House of Commons has overwhelmingly voted down a bid to legalize euthanasia and assisted suicide. MPs of all party stripes voted 228-59 against a private member’s bill, sponsored by Bloc Quebecois MP Francine Lalonde. http://ca.news.yahoo.com/s/capress/100421/national/parl_euthanasia

As  I have detailed to all of Canada’s major news media,  Members of the legislature as well I still never got this year adequate replay, actions about the much too many bad medical services, bad doctors and nurses, bad social workers  I had witnessed, rightfully complained about at the Montreal West Island General Hospital and this is still unacceptable.

The clear fact is that the Canadian federal government, federal Member parliament had voted unanimously this year  against allowing euthanasia, the Killing of anyone by even medical persons but who enforces it in Quebec. The clear fact is that the Canadian federal government, federal Member parliament had voted unanimously this year  against allowing euthanasia, the Killing of anyone by even medical persons and that now included as have also now complained in writing about my own witness of the unnecessary death of Mr. Ploufe  at the Montreal West Island Lakeshore Hospital . In my father’s case the medical personnel had not done all they could to save my father’s life the last 7 months before  his death and their unacceptable neglect of his medical conditions by too many medical staff caused some persons wrongfully to allow his early death.

I have also now done my own undeniable witness, studies in Montreal Hospitals, old age homes for at least six months and detailed it and no one can deny it as to the actual cause of deaths.
YET I HAVE NOT HAD ONE PERSONS TELLING ME TO STOP MY EXPOSE OF THE BAD MEDICAL SYSTEM IN CANADA, SAYING IT WAS NOT TRUE, RATHER BOTH IN CANADA AND IN THE USA I HAVE BEEN ENCOURAGED TO SPEAK OUT AND COMMENDED FOR DOING SO NOW AS WELL.
I HAVE SPENT 6 MONTHS IN HOSPITAL WATCHING FIRSTHAND TOO MANY PRETENTIOUS DOCTORS AND NURSES NEGLECTING PATIENTS, EVEN CAUSE THEY WERE BASICALLY INCOMPETENT TO HELP THEM. HAVING A MEDICAL LICENSE OR A MEDICAL DEGREE DOES NOT MEAN YOU ARE MORALLY, TECHNICALLY QUALIFIED TO HELP THEM ESPECIALLY IF YOU CANNOT BOTHER TO HELP THEM. DOCTORS LOVE TO JUSTIFY THEIR KILLING OF PATIENTS AS A MEDICAL HELP, A MEDICAL NECESSITY OVER THE REALITY IT WAS  MEDICAL MAL PRACTICE CAUSE THEY ARE AFRAID OF MEDICAL SUITS RIGHTFULLY TOO.
A: And do you know how freaked out, upset new immigrants really now are when they are told that the government is studying allowing euthanasia? they fully and strongly oppose it cause they think they will be the one killed while the rich and powerful will get their medical help alone.  It is the same law that has been in the Bible the last thousands of years now too.. though slat not murder that you are trying to put a different name and justification for it too….

B: And do you know how freaked out, upset most Canadians find out that medical help is not available equally to all Canadians , but the doctors and nurse and the governments themselves do decide who they will help and will not help for this was not what they were led to believe medical aid was about for a stat. they believe everyone has full , equal access to it and now they find out it is not so.
They are all mostly upset as to how poorly managed it is and the fact the bad doctor and bad nurses generally  like the cops, bad civil and public servants, are not held accountable, not punished for their inadequacy, wrong doings.  Local Doctors and Hospital seem to to have an absolute minimal supervision, management, and certainly are not cost effective, and then you wonder why some stupid provincial government that is pouring money into pails full of holes complains the cost  of Medicare is going up significantly. They can blame their own lack of supervision , even doctors, nurses, hospitals, civil and public servants, politicians, police, governments, others all still need to be monitored, supervised in reality. A poorly managed Hospital and personnel is still always rightfully unacceptable even if it is McGill. I have often been wondering why the Montreal McGill Hospitals tend to provide the basic , or pretentious services, it is cause the real doctors, professionals, self serving, greedy,  money hungry doctors  now are trying to make a buck in the private sector and are generally not available to all, even though Canada supposedly only has a fully public accessible Medicare system, and the Hospital directors who generally are doctors too go along with this too.. conflicting self interest and we pay for the majority of their education costs so they can screw us, abuse us next still too? Many persons who are fed up with the APPARENT INADEQUACIES even in the socialized medicine would like us to believe that a private medical system is better… and that is mere wishful thinking.. for even in a private system there are too often the same inadequacies, even for the same reasons, the apparent lack of supervision of medical personnel and services,
Often again I saw patients who come in alone they tend to be neglected, NOT GIVEN PAIN KILLERS ON TIME, SOILED DIAPERS NOT CHANGED  … not taken to washrooms, not given adequate medical care even in the emergency department now too.
So does the Quebec and federal health Ministers still want me to write all this up to the Hospital ombudsman, etc.,  while they still  gets paid for doing nothing here too? The governments have basically passed down the responsibility of the management of the health care systems to the individual hospitals, who basically have no  interest in seeing, managing medical  costs reductions, or improving their medical performances, rather it is to their sole interest that the gravy train flows abundantly, after all more patients, means more money for Hospital administrators, ombudsmen doctors and nurses and more job guarantees for them too.
One of the too many false reasons too many patients die in Hospitals is that almost none of the medical staff feel any personal, real, negative repercussions themselves.  One of the best way that I have discovered to get to know what a  person is really like, is work with him  just for one whole day,.. and   what   you now saw next.. lying, bullying, control freak..
MORE Realities:
-Doctors and nurse falsely  are not generally fully, ADEQUATELY MANAGED  supervised, or held accountable for their wrong doings in Canada
-SPEEDING IS NOT THE MAIN CAUSE OF CAR ACCIDENTS, DRUNK AND IMPAIRED  DRIVERS STILL ARE.
-SPEEDING IS NOT THE ROOT, MAIN ISSUE OF PREVENTABLE DEATHS IN CANADA, RATHER PEOPLE DYING IN HOSPITALS DUE TO MEDICAL ERRORS, CRIMINAL NEGLIGENCE BY DOCTORS AND NURSE, AND HOSPITAL ACQUIRED SICKNESS IS
MORE TAXPAYERS MONEY ARE USED ON REVENUE GENERATING SPEEDING TICKETS RATHER instead of putting bad doctors and bad nurse in jail and this also is really unacceptable ..

Quebec’s totally still unacceptable Medicare services, Pretentious, inadequate Ombudsman was, is never acceptable.  Punish rightfully all of the guilty persons now here too and do not rather cover up for them. DO SEE ALSO..

Public exposure and prosecution of the guilty is one of the best approach serving everyone’s best interest too.

One rotten apple spoils the whole basket.. let us all deal with it..  Now let also again it be clear I have written many many times my complaints to the Ombudsmen, ministers and I have yet to get one decent review on these matters this year.. and I still do want to know what rightfully and specially was done about each one of all of these past rightful complaints. Let them all doctors, nurse, managers, administers, ombudsmen do the adequate work there are all now being paid to do as well or be immediately and rightfully fired.

Much too many still immoral, incompetent, no good even Quebec medical doctors still wrongfully now want a legal right to bury their sins, errors, murders and face no lawsuits, negative consequences! The Public, citizens are being duped about the real issues involved here. We all can ALSO readily know that  know that too many of our politicians too often do  lie and spin the truths and now so do the  Doctors and their representatives with their hidden agendas as well.  Doctors now say they want to help others.. but do dream on for still they always are firstly   helping themselves in reality!!!! Their Suicide bill  bill would give doctors a license to kill.

Now I have been spending a lot of time in hospitals lately and I have seen 6 elderly persons die in the last month, 6 more than I have seen in my whole life time.. and some of these persons too sadly  were falsely being allowed to starve to death in Canadian Hospitals too. Drugs kill so do lazy, no good doctors and nurses , they even wrongfully starve patients to death.
A  CONVALESCENT HOME EMPLOYEE HAS NOW DIRECTLY TOLD ME THAT IF A PATIENT NO LONGER WANTS TO EAT OR LIVE, SHE IS TO ALLOW HIM TO STARVE TO DEATH, SHE IS NOT ALLOWED TO TRY TO FEED HIM.. FOR THIS  IS A DIRECT QUEBEC GOVERNMENT POLICY, IF SHE TRIES TO FEED THE PATIENT SHE WILL BE FIRED FROM HER JOB.

Suspended BC RCMP officers being paid up to $1.3 million a year The Province – There are now 16 BC RCMP members on paid suspension for alleged misconduct in BC. Officers can remain suspended with pay for years – even receiving annual raises …  “It’s a reward for engaging in inappropriate conduct,” said Simon Fraser University criminologist Robert Gordon. “This just shows a fundamental lack of accountability to taxpayers,” said Maureen Bader, spokeswoman for the Canadian Taxpayers Federation.  Across Canada, 47 Mounties were on paid suspension as of March 31, the Ottawa Citizen’s Chris Cobb reports.
VANCOUVER – Rookie RCMP Const. Chris Christinger has been docked 10 days’ pay after a day of partying at the Bella Coola Rodeo that included drinking before his shift, sneaking an 18-year-old girl into a beer garden and driving a police truck while under the influence of alcohol. Christinger, an officer in Alexis Creek, was sent to Bella Coola to help police the community’s annual rodeo.Christinger arrived in Bella Coola several hours before his 4:30 p.m. shift began. So he went to the rodeo grounds, where he drank four bottles of Smirnoff Ice before heading back to his hotel, getting changed into his RCMP uniform and driving to the Bella Coola detachment. RCMP spokeswoman Const. Annie Linteau noted that, under the RCMP Act, 10 days’ lost pay is the maximum financial penalty an officer can receive short of being fired http://www.vancouversun.com/life/RCMP+officer+caught+sneaking+teen+girl+into+beer+garden+photos+posted/3516840/story.html

RCMP officer threatened critic

In Canada along with the bad pastors, the crooks, bad politicians, the cops  are a typical group who do not tolerate  negative free speech about their own bad acts, for  they tend to be ostriches in denials, who falsely refuse to admit, to see their own bad points, and they wrongfully, clearly do let you all falsely  to believe they are some kind of gods, perfectionist who themselves cannot be challenged, questioned. How absurd. These people in denial are the ones who often need professional help for their sickness. The RCMP along with other major police forces tend to be known for censorship of free speech, obstruction of justice, false intimidations of their critics

Now in reality too often the Police are too often lazy, no good cops… but the feds, politicians, civil and public servants included,  are not any better it seems. In Canada  in my whole life I  never got the too often bad police to do one proper thing, to do one proper police complaint  review now too.

It is already a  half a century fact in Canada that the crooks and police do too often believe that they alone have a right to freedom of speech and that they both are guilty of the usage of unlawful authority, obstruction of justice  to try to stop any and all critics of their wrong doings by any others. I know I have been visited by the perverse police at home many times on this, falsely threatened with arrest if I keep on writing to news editors too, even one RCMP officer  had threatened to shut me up for good by a Canmore Alberta RCMP officer.. so what else is new.. none of this is ever acceptable in Canada firstly still too. Decades later I rightfully still use my free speech right to tell the whole truth about the unacceptable bad cops, their managers too  and the really bad crooks who need to be arrested, put in jail as well. https://thenonconformer.wordpress.com/2010/09/01/the-rcmp-is-still-the-big-bad-wolf-in-sheep-clothing/

A top RCMP officer has issued a “thinly veiled threat” to strip funding from a B.C. university if its lead criminologist does not stop criticizing the force, alleges the professor involved.  In an email obtained by the Times Colonist, RCMP Deputy Commissioner Gary Bass chastises Robert Gordon, director of Simon Fraser University’s criminology department, for his comments in the media that RCMP “arrogance” stalled the investigation into serial killer Robert Pickton.  “I would like to suggest that you should be much more careful in speaking on issues where you have no direct personal knowledge or where you may not be getting accurate information fed to you,” Deputy Commissioner Bass wrote in the lengthy email sent on Aug. 22, two days after Vancouver police Deputy Chief Doug LePard released his report on the bungled missing-women investigation, which placed significant blame on the Mounties’ shoulders.  Deputy Commissioner Bass went on to question the RCMP’s role as a key donor for SFU’s Institute for Canadian Urban Research Studies, which is housed in the School of Criminology.  “The ongoing bias you display against the RCMP in articles such as this have caused many to ask why we would want to continue to be in that partnership given this apparent lack of support from the head of the department,” he wrote.  The RCMP funds two research chair positions at the institute, at a cost of $4-million over the past five years. It recently renewed the $4-million contribution for another five years.  “This is a thinly veiled threat about the funding,” Mr. Gordon said. http://www.vancouversun.com/news/RCMP+officer+threatened+university+professor+says/3481957/story.html

Alcohol is more dangerous than illegal drugs like heroin and crack cocaine, according to a new study.Heroin, crack cocaine and methamphetamine, or crystal meth, were the most lethal to individuals.

Provincial Governments, cops too  do not want to reduce gambling or alcohol consumption for it is a great money maker for them, and too many Canadian politicians and cops do like to booze..

Alberta should not renew RCMP contract “And the RCMP has changed, for the worse. At the headquarters level there hasn’t been a good report in years. Various inquiries have found incompetence, poor training, poor discipline, poor co-ordination and communication, and outright dishonesty. Those inquiries have used phrases like “horribly broken,” “often flawed,” “not justified” and so on. News reports made it clear that RCMP investigations into embarrassing and fatal actions of their own members were inadequate to the point of being a coverup. At the field level there were many reports of highly dubious shootings by RCMP members, and criminal investigations into the conduct of members when off duty. Former RCMP Commissioner Giuliano Zaccardelli resigned in disgrace after giving conflicting statements to a Parliamentary committee. ” http://www.calgaryherald.com/opinion/Alberta+should+renew+RCMP+contract/3498184/story.html?cid=megadrop_story

This is not a new revelation I myself now had detailed to you about 25 years ago my own experience in Canmore Alberta with the perverse RCMP where I got 2 speeding tickets on the same spot years apart and how the RCMP next also had covered up for it’s pervere buddies, and I had also entered my complaint about their perverse acts into the Canmore Queens court record as well now.

COURTENAY — A Courtenay man is furious after police came to his house looking for marijuana, only to discover garden tomatoes and dahlias. Speaking on condition of anonymity, the man said the incident has left him “sick to his stomach” and calling for more civilian oversight of the RCMP. On Aug. 29 (Sunday) at about 10:30 p.m., the man was sleeping upstairs in his room. His wife, who was preparing to head to bed, saw several police cars pull up in front of the house. He was presented with a search warrant for marijuana plants and told that he and his wife would be taken into custody to the police station. He said he turned on the garden floodlight to allow the police officers more light for their search. The police search had yielded only dahlias and garden tomatoes — plants that had mistakenly been identified by police as marijuana over a two-week investigation that included aerial surveillance of the couple’s back yard. http://www.vancouversun.com/life/Courtenay+RCMP+apologize+after+marijuana+raid+yields+only+dahlias/3516759/story.html

TOO LITTLE AND MUCH TOO LATE..  KAMLOOPS, B.C. – All but one of seven men accused of not intervening while a voyeuristic scene of two women having sex in a British Columbia jail cell unfolded two weeks ago are now off their police and guard jobs without pay while RCMP investigate. The RCMP suspended three of the four officers involved on Wednesday while officials decide whether further disciplinary action is warranted. Surveillance footage allegedly shows four Mounties and three civilian jail staff watching a video monitor for seven minutes. The women had been picked up for public intoxication and were double-bunked in the “drunk tank” of the Kamloops, B.C., jail when the sex acts occurred on Aug. 18. The suspension affects the supervising officer, a corporal, who has been on the force for 20 years, as well as two constables with experience ranging from one to seven years. The decision was made after an internal review. RCMP Insp. Tim Shields said a fourth officer, who is also a constable, is still under investigation  / Police announced they were conducting code-of-conduct and criminal investigations late last week. At the same time, the southern Interior City of Kamloops suspended two prison guards and a watch clerk after getting basic details of the incident.   http://ca.news.yahoo.com/s/capress/100901/national/sex_in_cell

COVER UP-B.C. federal tax collector implicated in charity tax fraud scheme

Federal tax collector from B.C. is one of the people implicated in a multi-million-dollar charity fraud tax scheme recently busted by the Canada Revenue Agency, according to internal government documents obtained obtained by The Vancouver Sun. On April 8, the CRA sent out a news release announcing that, as a result of its investigation, three people from Victoria were being charged with tax evasion after allegedly selling $7.6 million in charity receipts for as little as one-tenth of their face value. What the agency didn’t mention is that one of the people who bought those fake charity receipts was a CRA employee.  … three months before the CRA announced the charges, it discovered one of its B.C. tax collectors was a participant in the scheme who  worked in a CRA tax office in B.C.  When interviewed by CRA investigators, the employee originally denied being a part of the scheme, saying her only involvement with the charities was donating a few used items to them. “However, the investigation revealed that she provided the organizer/promoter with a cheque that was cashed,” the report states. Further investigation determined that, from 2004 to 2006, the woman claimed $35,000 in fake donations on her tax returns. As a result of the investigation, the woman’s prior returns were reassessed, with the $35,000 in donations disallowed plus additional fines for “gross negligence.” The woman’s name was blanked out of the copy of the report released to The Sun, as was the exact tax office she worked out of.  According to court records, the fake receipts — issued by CanAfrica International Foundation and the Canadian Foundation for Child Development — resulted in $2.2 million in unpaid taxes.  the CRA only advises the public of matters that are before the courts and the employee was not named in the court file   Read more:  .http://www.vancouversun.com/news/federal+collector+charity+fraud+scheme/3351520/story.html#ixzz0vWImc34H

The current mayor of Dawson City, Yukon, says he believes former mayor Glen Everitt’s 12-month conditional sentence for misappropriating town funds is too light.  The charge is connected to a total of $38,300 he admitted to have fraudulently spent when he was mayor between 1996 and 2004. Territorial court Judge Heino Lilles sentenced Everitt to 12 months of house arrest and ordered him to pay the $38,300 back to the town. Dawson City’s current mayor, Peter Jenkins, said everyone he’s talked to believes Everitt got off lightly. The Crown had called for a 15-month jail term. Victim impact statements from at least eight Dawson City residents demanded jail time as well. http://ca.news.yahoo.com/s/cbc/100813/canada/canada_north_dawson_everitt_sentence_reax

NOT ALL PERSONS ARE EQUALLY GUILTY IN THE EYES OF THE LAW..

Young persons are more guilty over any adults? DUI included and since when? Don’t do what we do, do what we say is still  hypocrisy.

Most Police personnel caught drunk driving are falsely are not charged as well. “  Questions are being raised about why an RCMP sergeant in Saskatchewan who rolled his vehicle after having at least five alcoholic drinks was not charged with impaired driving.  So, if the government wants to crack down on drinking and driving, it should target all of the problem drivers. It’s not just about age, it’s about impaired drivers, cops included now too.  Many cops still drive home drunk from the police taverns after work

An off-duty RCMP officer was arrested for allegedly breaking into a River Heights home while intoxicated will likley get off easy. https://thenonconformer.wordpress.com/2010/07/20/canadas-police-forces/
In the case of police, it is in everyone’s best interest that there is full, effective, independent, transparent and objective oversight. It goes without saying that an absence of effective oversight will inevitably result in the erosion of the community’s confidence in the police.” http://ombudsman.on.ca/media/139861/who%20will%20guard%20the%20guards%20themselves%20toronto%20police%20services%20board.pdf

All licenced drivers in Ontario  who have any alcohol at all in their system should face the prospect of losing their licence immediately for 24 hours is what the law should read… The new law is in addition to existing legislation under the Graduated Licensing System that requires all novice drivers, regardless of age, to be alcohol free at all times while driving.  Any individual convicted of violating the new law faces a fine ranging from $60 to $500 and a 30-day licence suspension, police said in a release Friday.  As of Aug. 1, novice drivers caught with any amount of alcohol in their blood will receive an immediate 24-hour roadside driver’s licence suspension.  Statistics show DRUNK drivers ARE ALL VERY likely to be involved in drinking and driving fatal and injury crashes.

As well, the Reduced Suspension with Ignition Interlock Conduct Review Program goes into effect . The program is intended to increase the number of driver interlock devices in vehicles of people convicted of impaired driving or failing a breath test.  The interlock device requires the driver to blow into the machine, which then determines if they have recently consumed alcohol.  If they have, the device prevents the vehicle from being started. tHIS DEVICE CAN BE EASILY BY PASSED BY HAVING SOMEONE ELSE START THE CAR FOR YOU.

The new law will also allow eligible drivers convicted for the first time of an alcohol-impaired driving offence to time their licence is suspended from the present one year, to a new minimum of three months if they meet specific requirements that include the installation of the ignition interlock device for a minimum of nine months, in their vehicle.

Research shows up to 75% of suspended drivers continue to drive despite the disqualification.

Kevin Wiener, a 20-year-old Toronto resident, says he’ll fight the Ontario government’s new booze ban for young drivers. Wiener says the ban, which came into effect Sunday, is unconstitutional, and he’s filing an application in the Ontario Superior Court of Justice challenging it. The ban is based on age, instead of experience, he says. The law prohibits drivers under the age of 22 from having any trace of alcohol in their system when operating a motor vehicle. Wiener says new drivers who are older do not face the same restrictions as young drivers — even though some younger drivers may have more experience on the road. This is a form of age discrimination and it’s unconstitutional, he says  http://www.cbc.ca/canada/story/2010/08/03/teen-drinking.html

So, clearly, we already have different laws for different age groups. But where are the special laws for the older generations who grew up when drinking and driving was “no big deal”? Where are the special sanctions for these “experienced” drivers who still think it’s OK to get behind the wheel tipsy?

Zero Tolerance Law Takes Effect For Young Drivers

Why do the police now do not go after the drunk drivers all the time and more effectively when it is the impaired drivers andnot the speeders who cause most of the car accidents, deaths still too. Canadian Justice is too often an empty one. The establishment cover ups for it’s own and prevails. Speeding is not the main cause of car accidents, impaired driving is, but too many cops are alcoholics it seems who wrongfully do sympathize with drunks and as a result do not arrest drunks all year..
