SNC-Lavalin is accused of paying nearly $48 million to public officials in Libya between 2001 and 2011 to influence government decisions. The company is also accused of fraud and corruption for allegedly defrauding various Libyan organizations of roughly $130 million. The Liberals want to help SNC avoid full prosecution it seems.

My own real Canadian personal experiences has been that when politicians too are wrongfully hesitant to prosecute the crooks, they personally tend to be firstly protecting themselves, they are likely committing the same crimes, or their close friends, relatives now are.. sound familiar? and that is why they wrongfully hesitate to prosecute the others and this is still really unacceptable.. it next still makes me and many others take a closer look as to why the politicians now are hesitating to prosecute drunk drivers, drug users and pushers, bad cops , tax evaders, etc.,, and instead wrongfully firstly abuse the homeless, social welfare recipients, the poor persons, those most least able to speak out against it, to defend themselves

Some of the most immoral professionals I dealt with as an adult in my life in the last 35 years were pastors, lawyers and cops, accountants, politicians.. The police bar used to be be next door to the Calgary church that I went to for many years.. on Wednesday night the bar was full of drunken police officers.. how many drive home still drunk.. do we have a special police patrol outside of the police bars now too insure this law of no drunk driving now is being observed as well? By the way I am an abstainer. not that it matters. I never have touched the stuff..

Want to find out how really really crooked, abusive even many of the cops are do write a letter of complaints about the cops and they will visit you.. I only have had about 6 visits to my home so far from them in regard to my past letters of complaints to news editors, others, the police and others obstructing justice, and objecting to my letters and me next writing about their further unlawful use of their authority to try to suppress my freedom of speech firstly too. God created humans to engage in sex only within the arrangement of marriage between a male and a female. (Genesis 1:27, 28;Leviticus 18:22; Proverbs 5:18, 19) The Bible condemns sexual activity that is not between a husband and wife, whether it is homosexual or heterosexual conduct. (1 Corinthians 6:18) The Bible straight-up says that homosexual behavior is an abomination. The New Testament plainly lists homosexuality right alongside lying (1 Timothy 1:10), robbing, being greedy, swindling (1 Corinthians 6:9), gossiping and committing murder (Romans 1:25). Any society that condones destructive, sinful behavior (as Scripture defines sin) is a society that will weaken and decline. When you engage in sexual activity outside of male-female marriage, it not only brings God’s judgment upon you but also brings about emotional harm (and sometimes physical harm or disease), regardless of whether it’s consensual, and regardless of whether the harm or the offense toward God is ever realized or acknowledged.  It is not sinful to be tempted. It’s sinful to yield. This truth about temptation applies to everyone, regardless of the sin.

Any sexual intercourse between persons of the same sex that is prohibited by Bible teachings.  I do not expect lustful, sinful, gay persons to respect what the Bible says nevertheless is is God word, the whole Bible. I expect them to twist the Bible to support their immorality knowing that people “love darkness rather than light” (John 3:19). Some persons even some professing Christians are trying to argue these days from the Bible that homosexuality is an acceptable form of human relationship. They teach that same-sex “marriage” is just as holy and commendable as heterosexual marriage. This concerns many more than secular arguments because such an approach attempts to hijack the Bible and change the truth (which, by any sane definition, never changes) . The bad news for those who engage in homosexuality does not go away simply by the spurious claim that somehow the Church has “misunderstood” the bible texts for centuries. People who use the Bible to argue that accepting homosexuality is how we are to ‘love our neighbor’ wrongly omit the first half of what Jesus said in that context. Jesus actually said, “The great and first commandment is ‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind’” (Matthew 22:34-40). In other words, love for one’s neighbor is bounded by one’s primary allegiance to God. How can one claim to love God, yet despise what His Word says about homosexuality and disregard His design for marriage? At the core of the topic of human sexuality, as with all topics, is either a sound understanding of God or a flawed understanding of God, the Bible.  The Bible actually is quite clear and consistent, despite those who misinterpret it (2 Peter 3:16).

Jesus was unequivocal in saying that to understand marriage and the sexual union, we must go back to the beginning and see how God created humanity and to what end. (See Matthew 19 and Mark 10.) Sexual intimacy is not a right. Every Christian has limitations placed on his sexuality. For married Christians, it is exclusive to one’s spouse. For single, engaged, and divorced Christians, it is abstinence, no exceptions.

The US had “a high level of confidence” about the regime’s alleged culpability for the use of poisonous gas in Douma. but still no facts to substantiate it. It seems the warmongers didn’t even bother to wait for a report by the UN chemical weapons inspectors from Douma. They deliberately overlooked the significance of many reports from others, the site of the supposed chemical weapons attack .  The gas attack was in rebel-held territory and no independent reporters witnessed it because the area is just too dangerous. All the drama about gaz attacks, Russian hacking, interference, and collusion are a smokescreen, masking the real reason why the Western Liberals as well hate President Vladimir Putin. The real conflict is about a geopolitical power struggle for world domination, which involves hundreds of trillions of dollars . The West  is accused of inciting war, supporting terrorism and telling lies.  Russia and Syria have been in the dock and apparently found guilty, but as ever the burden of proof lies with those making the accusations to show the certain evidence they have to back up their claims. However those who have made the accusations have not shown anything like the evidence needed to substantiate their claims.  There is no basis to the Trump Administration’s accusations that the government of Bashar al Assad was involved in deliberately triggering a chemical weapons attack with a view to killing Syrian civilians.  Seymour Hersh, a journalist who has won the Pulitzer Prize, President Donald Trump ordered the bombing of Syria in April, despite having no evidence that the Bashar al-Assad government had used chemical weapons in the Syrian Civil War.   Assad did not order Syria chemical weapons attack, says German press  Bild am Sonntag. President Bashar al-Assad did not personally order last month’s chemical weapons attack near Damascus that has triggered calls for US military intervention, and blocked numerous requests from his military commanders to use chemical weapons against regime opponents in recent months, a German newspaper has reported .   Chancellor Angela Merkel said that Germany would not participate in an attack on Syria over the suspected use of chemical weapons by President Bashar al-Assad’s government.

Note the striking statement by Secretary of Defense James Mattis that the U.S. has “no evidence” that the Syrian government used the banned nerve agent Sarin against its own people. If America did, for example as it alleges in an official White House report, have evidence it calls “our information” regarding the Shayrat airbase “Sarin attack” being prepared, then why did it not show this? The attacks of March 19, August 24 and August 25, 2013 upon Syrian government soldiers indicate that the rebels were in possession of sarin both before and immediately after the chemical weapon attack at Ghouta of August 21, 2013.

The Assad government had no motive to use chemical weapons, especially with the UN inspectors already on the ground in Syria, and as the Syrian government was in a strong position militarily in its struggle with the opposition.   Again why would Assad use chemical weapons on civilians, knowing that it would draw world-wide condemnation and intervention, when the jihadists are surrounded and on the brink of annihilation?  All these false accusations of wrongs in Syria  looks like a last gasp attempt by the desperate West  to stop the run of gains Assad’s  forces have made in the last year.

Addiction is defined as a chronic, relapsing brain disease characterized by compulsive drug seeking and drug use, despite harmful consequences. It is considered a brain disease because drugs change the brain; they change its structure and how it works. These brain changes can be long lasting and can lead to many harmful, often self-destructive, behaviors. Such self-destructive behaviors, in the case of addiction to drugs, also lead to the destruction of the family, which spells danger and doom to any nation – the family being the basic unit of society. Strong, healthy families constitute a solid foundation, like a rock, assuring a nation’s vibrant future.

Organized crime groups and gangs in Canada are more likely to produce and traffic drugs such as crystal methamphetamine and cocaine than they are cannabis,  organized crime groups were linked to 75 percent of all heroin-trafficking cases, 62 percent of all cocaine-trafficking cases, and 60 percent of all methamphetamine-trafficking cases; they were linked to 39 percent of all cannabis-trafficking cases, and to just 6 percent of all cannabis cultivation cases.  This contradicts common Royal Canadian Mounted Police wisdom and that the researchers’ definition of “organized crime” – three or more people who commit a serious crime to profit – is misleading.

There is also a  lot of marijuana around, but estimates of usage are unreliable given the legal environment surrounding marijuana use. The central question in this disturbing situation is what effect will marijuana legalization have on this serious drug problem?

Heroin abuse is tightly tied to prescription drug abuse. Almost half of people addicted to heroin are also addicted to painkillers. People are 40 times more likely to be addicted to heroin if they are addicted to prescription painkillers. Abuse of prescription painkillers is incredibly common . While it’s true that heroin abuse has skyrocketed in the last years, prescription drug abuse is more common. The number of overdose deaths from prescription pain medication is larger than those of heroin and cocaine combined.

Researchers with personal financial ties to pharmaceutical companies tend to publish studies casting those companies’ drugs in a positive light 76 per cent of the studies that cast the drugs in a positive light were led by investigators that had direct financial ties to the companies producing the drugs. By contrast, only 49 per cent of the negative studies had lead investigators with a monetary tie to the drug companies in question.

Canada hastens falsely to World war III

US president Obama visits Canada’s Prime Minister Justin Trudeau in Ottawa and the next day Canada announces it  will send troops to NATO .  Canada to send 450 soldiers, up to 6 fighter jets to eastern Europe,  Canada will take command of a 1,000-strong multinational force in Latvia, as the alliance beefs up its presence in the Baltics and Poland to stop Russian Supposed  Aggression.

NATO and Russia are on the brink of a new Cold War, Canada is out of the frying pan into the fire. NATO and the U.S. are the enemy and Russia must be ready for attack. NATO is upset over Russia  annexations of Crimea , a prime Russian Military base, so Vladimir Putin is already being turned into the new Hitler,  as Canada sends scarce troops to Poland and Estonia. This is supposedly in response to a ‘Russian threat’ to these countries for which there is no actual evidence, Russia has denied any such intentions, and instead has accused NATO of instigating the current standoff by expanding into former Soviet territory and trying to undermine its sphere of influence. It has also warned against any military build-up on its borders. Russian President Vladimir Putin said Moscow is willing to co-operate with NATO, even though he said the alliance is treating Russia like an enemy.  There is absolutely nothing to suggest that Russia had ever wanted to expand beyond its national neighborhood and subdue any territory within Western Europe up to the Atlantic Ocean. Problems with Russia only occur when a foreign power encroaches upon its neighboring areas. Interference into Russia’s geopolitical neighborhood was exactly what Western Europe, with the help of the US, has been largely practicing since the fall of the Berlin Wall in 1989 and the collapse of the Soviet Union in 1991.

These super stealthy subs can strike at US targets without much risk. Russian defense circles are sure of conventional and nuclear superiority on sea and land. And the Pentagon knows it. Russia would reduce NATO forces to smithereens in a matter of hours. And then would come Washington’s stark choice: accept ignominious defeat or escalate to tactical nuclear weapons. The Pentagon knows that Russia has the air and missile defense capabilities to counter anything NATO’s non-stop Russia demonizing is in fact quaint. Think about NATO picking a fight against the constantly evolving, complex Russia-China strategic partnership.

 Russian military is a highly potent force. As it has exhibited in power plays in Syria, Crimea and Ukraine, Russia can take on the combined forces of NATO without working up a sweat. Similarly, China and India are capable of defending their respective territories and interests. Both are nuclear armed and have powerful naval fleets that can blast American gunboat diplomacy right out of the water. China is also facing encirclement. Washington is ramping up naval activity in the Pacific and also pouring its forces into Australia – aimed squarely at Beijing. However, Beijing doesn’t face the kind of existential threat as Moscow.

NATO itself is  the US and Great Britain.  Basically both US President Dwight Eisenhower and Winston Churchill  were Jews who hated Russia. This  North Atlantic Alliance wants to use the territories of its new members in Eastern Europe as a bridgehead for a massive military deployment against Russia, the analyst continued. Moreover, contrary to its name, NATO is not an alliance of equals, but a subjugation of partner armies by the United States and the United Kingdom. Indeed, all member armies of this supposed “alliance” are under the command of a single US officer who is also commander of American forces in Europe-while the secret service of NATO, the “Gladio”, under the joint authority of Washington and London, ensures that the anti-imperialists never come to power in the other Member States Russia – its military power may be a shadow of the mighty Soviet Union but even the much smaller successor. Europe has missed its chance to revive close and respectful ties with Russia due to its arrogant, provocative bullying advocated by the US.

 After liberating Western Europe in 1945, the United Kingdom and the United States decide to recast it, by creating the United States of Europe. American foreign policy does deserve to be challenged and debated vigorously. America is not God.    Wars are the mother and father of atrocities, and one day they will come home to North America , if they  keep launching them against others. Americans are loosing the lead. Their global domination today in fact is melting. America’s elites already have failed  and disappointed the world.  That is, the  goal of the United States , Great Britain  NATO – to pin down, and even to crush Russia, as they do with those smaller countries that try to resist. That’s all: the goal of global West is to stop the independent foreign policy of Russia.  The Western powers have launched provocative military;  “exercises” that cannot be seen by the Russians as anything other than a dress rehearsal for war – and the Kremlin has reacted accordingly.

NATO really is not capable to defend itself from a possible Russian attack in Europe, Some  Western officials and military analysts say that warnings of a severe and imminent threat from Russia are overblown and in some cases amount to scaremongering aimed at boosting military budgets.

Parasites – The Liberals are back.

 It is a centuries-old proverb that he who pays the piper calls the tune. And it  confirms what people of all ages have known very well: that with enough money, one can have politicians, judges and police officers in one’s back pocket. Money corrupts.  The Liberals and Justin Trudeau are also some of the  people who just can’t be trusted.

Let the police rightfully start with the rightful better policing of themselves such as the RCMP binocular purchase collapses amid allegations bid rigged in favour of one company. It should have been a straightforward purchase of binoculars for the RCMP but it has emerged the deal was rigged to favour one particular company.A government watchdog has recommended the entire process be restarted, but this time in an open, fair and transparent manner —  yet another blow for the troubled federal government procurement system. The government of Canada has cancelled and intends to reissue this requirement for night-vision goggles, as the government had promised to improve the procurement system, which has been plagued over the years with problems and failed projects.

The RCMP should also  next deal  first with  our too often stealing, crooked, lying politicians, civil and public servants who also do steal  and now first also go after all the alcoholics who abuse their spouses, drive impaired … the cops included..  deal first with all of    the persons who abuse any seniors.. and we now do need more cops rather in the hospitals arresting also all of  the bad Health Ministers, bad  doctors and bad nurses who fail to provide adequate medical aid to seniors, others etc.  I rightfully do still readily do demand the prosecution of all these persons  clearly as detailed to you too  guilty of abuses that I witnessed, detailed many times too  including   their neglect  to now provide adequate medical service  to my father , their neglect  is the failure to provide adequate social services, police services, food, medicine, medical care, personal care, or other necessities to an elderly person even one who is a ward of the Quebec state  or someone else too is still a criminal act too. It is an undeniable legal fact that the abuse. including theft, frauds,  of a senior person, a person 65 years or over by anyone is a criminal act in Canada and in Quebec now.

Both had homes that had appreciated handsomely thanks to the fact Toronto’s housing market has been going through the roof, and cashed in big time when they accepted the Ottawa offer and sold their homes. Butts sold for $630,000 more than he’d paid, Telford for $500,000 more than she paid, according to figures acquired by the Globe and Mail.Then they loaded their stuff onto trucks, shifted it to Ottawa, and sent in a bill for more than $200,000, which was quickly approved by their friend the prime minister.. How did they manage to rack up such hefty bills?

OTTAWA – Chiefs of staff for two Liberal cabinet ministers are paying back almost $55,000 of the generous expenses they claimed for relocating to Ottawa, following the lead of Prime Minister Justin Trudeau’s top two aides. Foreign Affairs Minister Stephane Dion’s chief of staff, Julian Ovens, is in the process of reimbursing $32,130 of the $119,825 he claimed for moving expenses. And Innovation Minister Navdeep Bains’ chief of staff, Elder Marques, is giving back $22,467 of the $103,997 that he claimed.

Also at last year’s climate summit in Paris, Canada sent one of the biggest delegations and charged $122,000 for meals alone.And don’t forget the $845,000 just to renovate ONE liberal MP’s office. Liberals seem to be  never shy about robbing taxpayers blind?  Canadians seem to be  well aware that Liberal governments are deceitful, dishonest, and have no real plan – other than to fleece the taxpayer to enrich themselves. Liberals never quite understand that the public purse is actually tax payers money, that they resent it being wasted!

 A   pattern of entitlement.  The Canadian federal Health Minister Jane Philpott  becomes a   minister and suddenly there is a high level of  entitlement and so she is   facing accusations that she misled the House of Commons by failing to disclose controversial limousine travel she charged to taxpayers earlier this year The   vehicle that cost taxpayers more than $3,700 to ferry Health Minister Jane Philpott around on ministerial business on two occasions earlier this year was a luxury Lexus.spending amounts like $1,700 a day, literally helping a Liberal friend through a limousine service is not acceptable. . Philpott has come under opposition fire over the past weeks  for the cost of some of her travel. Health Minister Jane Philpott’s travel expenses surfaced that she billed taxpayers $520 for access to Air Canada’s executive airport lounges in North America and Europe, “It is another example of the minister’s lack of judgment and disrespect for the Canadian taxpayer.” The ethics commissioner Mary Dawson is to investigate Philpott’s travel bills, She used taxpayers’ resources to reward a partisan supporter . Environment Minister Catherine McKenna paid a French photographer nearly $11,000 to take pictures of McKenna and her staff during the climate change conference in Paris last year. . The Liberals  they seem to be developing an inappropriate sense of entitlement, the kind of entitlement that Canadians had voted out in the 2015 election. –  the Liberals aren’t competent enough to run a government  as  the Ministers are not afraid of our useless,  weak PM. Trudeau needs to do something to show he’s serious about spending taxpayers’ hard-earned money well.. Every day there is a new scandal about expenses, and we think it reflects their addiction to spending, to not managing Canadians’ money properly  The political pressure is mounting on Prime Minister Justin Trudeau to outline specific measures to control spending among his cabinet ministers. Improvements are required at the ministerial level, he added, noting ministers tend to travel more and attend international events.

If federal Liberal cabinet ministers don’t have the sense and sensitivity to handle a few thousand dollars in expense money properly, how can they be trusted to handle competently the billions of dollars it takes to run the country?   If they do  not know the value of a few thousand dollars, how will  they regard hundreds of millions of dollars? :  What is  alarming, id the attitude, the ease with which politicians spend public funds, the lack of respect for taxpayers’ money. It’s how quickly people in public office come to regard themselves as deserving of limousines, posh hotels, expensive meals. They have already arranged for themselves more-than-adequate salaries, generous expense accounts and rich pensions. They should not be grabbing for more. Our Public servants living high on the hog is not limited to the federal cabinet.  It is clearly established, accepted fact by most people that those in leadership, civil and public servants cops, teachers, ministers, politicians included  are always to be exemplary in behavior,  conduct and they do need to maintain their high standards even out of their working hours, thus to do so they are also to be exemplary  judged, prosecuted  for their own wrong doings with a higher standard over those of us ordinary folks. On top of this it all a  very simple open and shut case of  seniors too common abuse, theft, fraud, lies, tax evasions and what the government and police cannot still handle it properly? Then what other cases do they even not handle  now ineffectively? Likely all of them!!

Sophie Grégoire Trudeau, wife of Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, wants some more help. The Prime Minister’s Office is considering getting her a second publicly-funded assistant. They won’t say what specifically her duties entail.  Non Liberal Citizens mostly  responded with outraged.  Trudeau nets $334,800 a year as prime minister.  His family has a tax-payer funded cook and two nannies on staff for the couple’s three children.  Justin Trudeau makes $335000 then he should be able to pay for it himself!! OR THE GOVERNMENT SHOULD PAY FOR  ALL MOTHERS, HOUSEWIVES TO HIRE EXTRA STAFF FOR THEM AS WELL   Many families actually care for their children themselves or are required to pay for such care out of their own pockets, Trudeau is a millionaire. This is hypocrisy at its finest. And why does the whole family have to go on Dads International trip?

Sophie  Grégoire Trudeau should  fill her role as wife, mother.  We do not need another Queen, we have one already. Canada does not need a First wife. We need a government that looks after the citizens and governs wisely like they were spending their own money. We are  willing to pay taxes but not to pay for the privileged  parasites to amuse themselves.

Canadians want the elected Prime Minister to buckle down and get some work done. We want to see someone address the issue also  of why there are only lousy jobs being offered instead of good solid job to the non Liberal selects.. We do now want to see someone really dig deep and better the economy for ALL, and to  deal with issues that are making Canadians poorer each year including the banks raping us on charges and raping  cell phone companies who charge us the highest rates in the world. What we really want is hard working politicians who don’t care about being flashy. Canadians have always been and like being a nation of integrity and quiet determination to do the right thing and not privilege. These issues need the attention   rather than Sophie getting more help, .She needs to get her head out of the clouds, her role in Canadian politics is just not that important. We  all did not cast a vote for her, as she looks and sounds too lazy to  be a mother, housewife.. So fire nannies and let her spend the time she is giving to complete strangers with her kids. Canada voted for her husband to be Prime Minister – not for her to be a public figure. She does not  owe Canadians anything – her  kids deserve a mom who is there and not lost elsewhere.. Her  kids will never forget the moments they  missed .with  their mom.

I too do  find it rightfully interesting that many a bad civil and public servants, including cops , RCMP too, politicians, lawyers now too,  their  sins, or hypocritical acts are often  been revealed, exposed to all in Canada, and  Canada wide as well.

My dad calls them all parasites. My   father who was a pretty good judge of characters, now rightfully called   all of our bad civil and public servants. hospital workers and administrators,  and many others he had recently   encountered , even   bad  relatives  and he called  them all pretenders, parasites, thieves, liars, prostitutes who should be now punished accordingly as well

A demagogue /ˈdɛməɡɒɡ/ (from Greek dēmagōgos, dēmos ‘the people’ + agōgos ‘leading’)^[1] according to Webster’s Universal College Dictionary is a person, especially an orator or political leader, who gains power by arousing people’s desires, emotions and prejudices. Demagogues appealed directly to the  uninformed masses, pursuing power, telling lies  exploiting  the  popular  likes and dislikes  as he is more interested in advancing himself over making good decisions for all the people.

Justin Trudeau’s highest priorities are irreconcilable with the essential moral teachings of the Christian, Catholic faith he claims to profess, so common amongst the Liberals too.

After about 15 years of bad federal Liberal Governments, we do not want to go back to those days.  If you voted for a Liberal your voting for increased  corruption, immorality. OTTAWA – .  Prime Minister Justin Trudeau manhandled a male Conservative MP, told another group of MPs to “get the f— out of his way”, and elbowed a female New Democrat — all of it on the floor of the House of Commons , prompting one of the most bizarre parliamentary melees in decades.New Democrat Peter Julian could barely contain his outrage, saying he’d never seen such behaviour in his 12 years in the House.

Trudeau had grabbed Gord Brown, the Conservative MP, and frog-marched him down the aisle of the House of Commons and, in doing so, appeared to accidentally elbow NDP MP Ruth Ellen Brosseau’s chest with such force that she missed a subsequent vote. While there have been rare incidents over the last few decades of MPs physically threatening other MPs, there is no precedent for a Canadian prime minister grabbing an opposition MP, let alone accidentally elbowing an opposition MP with such force that a vote had to be missed. “What we saw is something I’ve never seen. It’s unacceptable. It’s undignified,” Conservative MP Gerard Deltell told the House of Commons. The Speaker of the Commons, Geoff Regan, chided the prime minister saying nobody should manhandle any member and that it was the speaker’s job to call a vote once one whip was in place, as the government’s was.Conservative whip Gord Brown said the Liberals’ “unilateral attempts to take control of the House of Commons” were what “set off” Wednesday night’s scuffle.

The Liberal leader will try “to foist upon the country social change that will include expanded abortion, permissive euthanasia, easy access to drugs, and other departures from moral sanity and our cultural tradition, all under the guise of promoting Canadian values and the Charter of Rights,”

Pierre left the country with an unimaginably massive debt that successive governments of whatever party have had a burden to deal with. Trudeau the constitutionalist, condemning the country to a decade of wrangling over amending formulas and opt-out clauses  that Nullified Canadian Unity. There is NOTHING in his achievements that made him great. There are a lot of things in his achievements that made him hated especially in the west.  Pierre Trudeau was almost universally hated  Canada wide and even in his home province  of Quebec.

PM Justin Trudeau back tracks on pledge to balance the federal government’s books before the next election, eliminating Canada’s deficit by 2019. The  Liberal campaign promise, to put Ottawa’s books in balance by 2019, is no longer operative.

We are too embarressed to admit that we have been lied to, taken as suckers, hood winked by  the new  federal Liberalgovernment and their now clearly empty promises.. After the election day, all those  liberal promises began to quickly broken. The Liberal party of Canada won a majority in parliament after the longest election campaign in modern Canadian history. Prime Minister elect Justin Trudeau with his lies, false promises was able to come back from a third place in polls at the beginning of the race to a win that seemed unlikely given the 2011 elections that left the party decimated. The Liberal platform was built on false promises of  working fiscal stimulus

The economic recovery in Canada was to be the main empahsis, and they now admit they do not know how to deal worth it. You could have elected anyone  for that job..

Canadians have lost faith in the economy in the wake of the oil price dropping some more so the economy is facing “real challenges.”   The price of oil, a major Canadian export, has fallen more than 70 percent since mid-2014.    A large part of Canada’s US dollar income comes from the sale of energy-based goods to the rest of the world and to the USA in particular. and the US has loads of oil.

Over the last 30 years, the Canadian dollar had  fallen below US$0.70 only once, from 1998 to 2002.

Also the   the real concern and the real story is going to be what’s going on in the global economy as the world economy is weak. Japan is struggling, as are parts of Europe. The European, Chinese and the Russian  economies are slowing. But we knew all that before the Liberal election.

On the latest  Saudi arms deal, the new Liberal boss in Ottawa Canada is just like the old Con boss and Liberal Foreign Affairs Minister Stéphane Dion’s approval the bulk of the Saudi arms deal could have been written by former Conservative prime minister Stephen Harper. If further proof was needed that the sunny new regime in Ottawa is perfectly capable of behaving just like the un-sunny previous regime, we now have it, in a memo that was stamped “Secret,” then rather inconveniently laid bare in the Federal Court of Canada. Foreign Affairs Minister Stéphane Dion,  wilful blindness and justification for selling billions worth of fighting vehicles and weaponry to Saudi Arabia, one of the most oppressive regimes on Earth.is still unacceptable.  Dion explicitly endorses Saudi Arabia’s ruinous military campaign in Yemen, the victims of which, according to the United Nations, are overwhelmingly civilian. Sadly Saudi Arabia’s fundamentalist Sunni regime is grimly determined to suppress, by any means  any demands for autonomy by Shia populations living on the Arabian peninsula. When Shia demonstrations erupted in Bahrain during the so-called Arab Spring, Saudi Arabia sent armoured columns across the causeway linking it to the Sunni-ruled island, which proceeded to pitilessly crush the dissent, imprisoning and killing and torturing and demolishing Shia mosques. The kingdom was also an eager and early bankroller of the Sunni rebels in Syria. That some of those groups were affiliated with al-Qaeda is relevant to Riyadh. Then there is the little matter of how the Saudis treat their own citizens. They have a hideous record of torture, oppression, arbitrary arrest and mistreatment of detainees, suppression of speech and religion, and institutional misogyny.  Bur when the Liberals were in opposition: “Principled foreign policy indeed.”Once in government,   moral outrage is a less affordable luxury.  Canada is not  any more hypocritical than other countries that shill vigorously for their arms manufacturers.  Talking out of the sides of their mouths is the Canadian way. Growing anxiety about weapons sales to Saudi Arabia is prompting the European Parliament is  urging a ban on arms exports to the Mideast country. The European Parliament called on the European Union to impose an arms embargo against Saudi Arabia on Thursday, saying Britain, France and other EU governments should no longer sell weapons to a country accused of targeting civilians in Yemen. EU lawmakers, who voted overwhelmingly in favor of an embargo, said Britain had licensed more than $3 billion of arms sales to Saudi Arabia since Saudi-led forces began military operations in Yemen in March last year. Nearly 6,000 people have been killed since the coalition entered the conflict, almost half of them civilians, according to the United Nations, and the European Parliament said it was acting on humanitarian grounds.”This is about Yemen. The human rights violations have reached a level that means Europe is obliged to act and to end arms sales to Saudi Arabia,”Saudi Arabia, a country with an abysmal human-rights record .

It deploys its armoured vehicles at protests. The federal rules oblige Ottawa to examine whether arms shipment to countries with poor human rights records would endanger the local population.   Amnesty International has cited the kingdom’s “abysmal human rights record” and said the Canadian transaction would appear to violate their export-control regime. The Liberal government’s support for the Saudi deal comes even though they have pledged to sign the United Nations Arms Trade Treaty, which regulates the flow of conventional weapons.

Canada and the US are falsely taking side with Saudi Arabia over Iran. The Justin Trudeau Liberal government are not the peace makers they had  lied and said they were during the elections. Relations between Sunni-ruled Saudi Arabia and Shiite-dominated Iran have been strained for decades. The oil-rich foes have also been divided over the nearly five-year war in Syria, where Iran is backing the regime, and the conflict in Yemen where a Saudi-led coalition is battling Shiite rebels. Saudi Arabia has one of the worst human rights records in the world today.

Why the increase of Islamic wars today?

About 1,300 years ago after the death of the Prophet Muhammad, a succession crisis divided Muslims; and the widening schism continues to play out today. The dispute over how to replace Muhammad as the leader of the Muslim world after his death in 632 — and increasingly after the deaths of subsequent leaders — led to competing iterations of the Islamic faith, diverting followers into two major branches — the Sunni and the Shia with doctrinal distinctions created the schism. In History we also did have the non violent Catholics and the Orthodox split.

The Islamic split began very early history of Islam. Those pushing for selecting successors as caliph of the Islamic State and as the religious authority only from among the family of Muhammad became known as the Shia, from the Arabic for “the followers of Ali,” a reference to Muhammad’s son-in-law, Ali ibn Abi Talib. Those pushing for a selective process based on seeking the most qualified from the wider tribal context became known as the Sunni, from the Arabic for “people of the tradition.” This was really a political dispute, but that political dispute early on over who should continued over centuries and a theological sectarian split. A study in 2009 by the Pew Research Center says there were more than 1.57 billion Muslims around the world, about 23% of the world’s population. Of those, 10 to 13 percent were Shia and 87-90 percent were Sunni. It is largely where those Shia live that has become important. The majority of Shias (between 68 to 80 percent) live in just four countries: Iran, Pakistan, India and Iraq. In many other countries in the Persian Gulf, Shia remain a minority within Sunni dominated states. That makes theology increasingly also  political.

The Islamic State, also known as the Islamic State of Iraq and al-Sham (ISIS), follows a distinctive variety of thirir own Islam whose beliefs do differ from the regional Sunni-Shiite tensions They literally want to overthrowthe world and replace it with thei own Islamic view of the future.  In 2014, after taking control of territory in the Sunni heartland of Iraq, ISIL proclaimed itself a caliphate, calling other states illegitimate and placing itself as the exclusive authority over the Islamic world, as if the world was the same as it was 1,300 years ago. SIL targets Shia Muslims as well as the West as it imposes its strict interpretations within territory it controls. ISIL wants to convince everyone the struggle is one epic clash of civilizations between the false Western religions and the Islamic World — with themselves as the true  representative of the world’s Muslims and as their religious authority — their caliph, the scholars said. The ISIL also carves its bloody notion of a new Islamic State world wide  lashing out at targets both within the Muslim world and in the West. They claim they do  have restored the Islamic empire called the caliphate as they believe that the caliphate is required in order to properly implement Islamic law and Islamic governance. They consider other systems of governance, even if there’s a Muslim sitting at the top, as illegitimate as long as the caliphate is absent. Members of the two branches if Islam, Sunni and the Shia had originally lived together peacefully and intermarried, but this highly politicized, the divide also becomes next “very heated” and now lead to calls for excommunication from the Islamic faith. In the current context of the self-declared Islamic State, that means death to all, even the.Sunni and the Shia Islamists

The notion of Shia now  being the dangerous iteration shifted through fundamentalist Sunni groups such as the Taliban, al Qaeda and the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL, also referred to as ISIS). For a while, exploiting the Sunni-Shia split served the interests of nations controlled by either branch. Saudi Arabia, is also guilty of forcefully exportating it’s Suuni Islamist ideology. The ISIL, Shia-Sunni split is terribaly important when the major backers of each branch are dominating influences in the same, sensitive region: Middle East, Iran and Saudi Arabia. The ISIL, Iran and Saudi Arabia has aquired loads of money and are  now also able to acquire, and to finance many  Their recruits, many ISIL recruits too..

 Saudi Arabia under King Salman is rejecting U.S. and European calls for human-rights reforms, King Salman surprised observers last year by moving quickly to position the kingdom even closer to the xenophobic Wahhabi religious establishment. These clerical leaders preach an intolerant form of Sunni Islam that denounces Shiites and other so-called heretics.

Saudi Arabia and Qatar are the only countries in the world where Wahhabi Salafism is the state religion. However, this agenda does not stay in these states because it is actively propagated throughout the Muslim world. Over the last few decades, billions of dollars have been pumped into a huge campaign aimed at eroding the more moderate strains of Islam and replace them with the more extremist variety. If the West really wants to crack down on ISIS and make inroads into reducing the funding for the promotion of such violent extremism, then this means confronting Saudi Arabia, rather than continuing to bury heads in the sand.

And the war in Syria, being waged by Saudi-backed rebels against the Iranian-backed regime of Bashar al-Assad, has begun in the past few weeks to go Iran’s way, thanks to the intervention of Russian forces last fall in support of the Assad regime. Meanwhile the citizens of Saudi Arabia  o are beginning to feel the pinch from the deflated price of oil. Saudi subsidies that often are doled out to win popular support are being withdrawn and taxes are being raised to try to address the shortfall in available public funds.

The Western allies have increased their military campaigns against the terrorist group, those in neighbouring Arab nations, seemingly better-placed to weed them out,  have been mostly indifferent and why?   it basically comes down to Iran. “Iran and Saudi Arabia underpin everything going on,”  “The reality is that Islamic State is seen in the region as less of a problem than the prospect of an ascendant Iran,” The prospect of any meaningful military activity on the strength of 34 co-operating Islamic nations against the IS   here is thus still null.  “And there are certain countries that would like to see IS thrive as long as they don’t come and take their territory. Some are  even funding IS so it’s a real   can of worms.”   “Their concern about IS, while a real concern, will continue to take a back seat until such time they have reduced the threat of Iran by removing it as a principle player in the region, and by removing the Assad regime in Syria, providing that Islamic State forces do not overthrow the government in Baghdad.. ”

Germany said it would “critically review” its future arms exports to Saudi Arabia,  Germany now has  warned Saudi Arabia  that  Berlin would review military exports to the oil-rich nation in light of Riyadh’s mass executions of prisoners two days earlier. Germany has  already refrained from selling the Heckler & Koch G36 assault rifles, battle tanks,  and other offensive military weapons to Saudi Arabia.   In the first six months of 2015, Germany permitted the export of arms worth over 178 million euros ($192.56 million) to Saudi Arabia. Germany is the world’s fourth-largest arms exporter, with sales valued at roughly $4 billion in the first half of 2015.  Exports to Saudi Arabia last year included patrol boats, all-terrain vehicles, aerial refuelling equipment, drones and parts for combat aircraft and armoured vehicles. “A moratorium on arms exports would be the right signal now – business as usual is not an option,” CDU politician Michael Hennrich, who is head of the German-Arabic parliamentarian group .

PRESSURE is also now building on Britain to halt all weapons sales to Saudi Arabia after Germany pledged to “review” its trade links with the kingdom. Amnesty International estimates arms worth £1.75bn were sold to the kingdom in the first half of 2015 alone.  Britain has long been accused of fuelling that conflict by trading weapons and machinery with the Arab kingdom.  Saudi Arabia has been a major buyer of UK weapons since the 1960s, with around 240 UK Ministry of Defence civil servants and military personnel working in the UK and Saudi Arabia to support contracts between the two countries. “UK bombs and fighter jets have been central to the destruction of Yemen. As long as Saudi enjoys the political and military support of the most powerful Western nations, then it will continue oppressing its own population and those of neighbouring states.” As  the continued sale of arms from the UK to Saudi Arabia is illegal, immoral and indefensible.   “Thousands of civilians have been killed in Saudi-led airstrikes, and there’s a real risk that misery was ‘made in Britain’. The UK must halt these arms sales immediately.”

France has now also condemned Saudi Arabia’s execution of 47 prisoners, including a Shiite cleric, and voiced concerns about growing tensions in the Middle East following riots in Shiite-dominated Iran. France opposes the death penalty “in all places and circumstances.

In Belgium, the  Minister-President Geert Bourgeois, announced  that he has refused an application for an export licence to ship weapons to Saudi Arabia.

But that hasn’t stopped them — either because they really have nothing but contempt for the public’s intelligence and memory, or they would not get elected if they would not lie..  Trudeau  failure to deliver is  based not just on individual promises but a leadership potential that was rooted in misplaced expectations and an  false constructed image .Many now see how real shallow, incometent he real is. His entire campaign was rooted in a dubious premise. Trudeau  had insisted throughout his campaign he was going to “save” the economy through “modest” deficits and a “middle class” tax cut combined with an increase to make the rich “pay their fair share.” it is gullible to believe that Trudeau was really going to produce deficits that hardly mattered while bringing tax relief to Canada’s vast middle class. It is  transparent that Trudeau is preparing for not modest but robust deficits and only a fraction of the real middle class will benefit from tax cuts.

Where else is Trudeau coming unglued?

He promised to restore Canada Post home delivery for all Canadians without thinking that one through and looks like he’s prepared to entertain the status quo.

The Liberal government has broken a promise to immediately implement firearm-marking regulations to help police trace guns used in crime, the pledge had not been fulfilled. The regulations would require that specific, identifiable markings be stamped on firearms and had been slated to take effect Dec. 1 of last year. n their election platform, the Liberals said they would “immediately” implement gun-marking regulations. The party also promised other, longer-term measures aimed at making it harder for criminals to get and use handguns and assault weapons. The long-planned regulations would require domestically manufactured firearms to bear the name of the manufacturer, serial number, and “Canada” or “CA.” Imported guns would have to carry the “Canada” or “CA” designation along with the last two digits of the year of import. The measures would help Canada meet the requirements of the United Nations Firearms Protocol and a convention of the Organization of American States.

He also had  criticized the Conservatives for rendering the Temporary Foreign Worker program ineffective but is now taking a rigid Canada first line about Canadians filling jobs they refuse to do. Like his predecessors he hashed the existing government but next did the same things

Trudeau has not yet pulled our CF-18s out of theatre — as he said he was going to do immediately after being sworn in as PM.

PM Justin Trudeau had promised to end bombing runs in Canada’s Syria mission. But whether Trudeau will be able to stand by his campaign commitment to refocus Canada’s role in the war-torn region is  still  the question in the aftermath of his election now. Trudeau likes to say Canada is back, but the military is void, broked, needs  loads of money not available.

Once in power, however, Liberals concede  that they will not keep all of their election promises.

Canadian participation in the fighting came as the new Liberal government was  once  considering when to withdraw its six CF-18s from combat and how to beef up the ground training mission of local forces Trudeau has pledged a more robust training presence in Iraq,   but he had planned  to end Canada’s  air force’s role in the U.S.-led coalition bombing campaign.

He insists Canada will still be a “substantial military contributor to the military efforts against ISIS,” but his government’s inability to define and articulate what that will look like carries now a mounting political cost for the Liberals. But Canada’s  defence minister has said that the air combat mission, including CF-18 bombing sorties, will continue well into next year, and perhaps beyond the parliamentary authorization.” Trudeau now has been  less adept at explaining why he intends to withdraw the six Canadian fighter jets from the airstrikes against ISIS targets in Iraq, in favour of increasing the number of military trainers in the region. However, it does represent the latest example of the Liberal government, which had promised to do politics differently, either breaking or backing off a promise made during the election.

The Liberal government has  already failed to deliver its promise to resettle 10,000 Syrian refugees by the end of 2015 3,700 fewer Syrian refugees landed in Canada than promised by Trudeau. Liberals fall short of year-end goal for refugee resettlement . Canada’s Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Minister John McCallum announced Thursday that just over 6,000 refugees, most of them privately sponsored, will have arrived in Canada by the end of the day on Dec. 31. That’s far short of his party’s election pledge to bring in 25,000 government sponsored refugees before the New Year and also well shy of the revised goal of 10,000, set in early December when it became clear the first promise was not to be met,the Liberals have clearly broken an important election promise that they knew they could never meet.

The NDP also sharply criticized the Liberal government’s missed targets. “Not only did this minister irrefutably fail to live up to the promise Liberals made to Canadians in the last election but he even failed to meet his own lowered expectations,”

The government’s failure to keep even its own scaled-back promise is obvious . But  it does represent another black mark for a government that is only a few months into its mandate.

Trudeau’s  immoral  pledge to legalize marijuana seems to be  be overruled by international conventions. Justin Trudeau, the Liberal prime minister  ,  ran in part on a promise to legalize marijuana, and said he was going to ” get started on that right away,” but now, Trudeau has said his efforts have hit a snag—international treaties. They were, uh, there during the election campaign, even if they were left unmentioned by the candidate himself.   Now Liberal government will have to do substantial work on the international stage before it can follow through on Prime Minister Justin Trudeau’s promise to legalize marijuana, new documents suggest. That work  includes figuring out how Canada would comply with three international treaties to which the country is a party, all of which criminalize the possession and production of marijuana. Trudeau’s plan to legalize, regulate and restrict access to marijuana is also proving a complicated and controversial undertaking on the domestic front, in part because it requires working with the provinces.

The treaties—the Single Convention on Narcotic Drugs , the Convention on Psychotropic Substances and the United Nations Convention against Illicit Traffic in Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances—date back to the 60s, 70s and 80s.

Groups fight retroactive Conservative firearms data law. A retroactive Conservative law buried in last spring’s omnibus budget bill fundamentally undermines the rule of law and government access-to-information systems across Canada, according to court submissions in a paused constitutional challenge.  Twelve of Canada’s 13 provincial and territorial information commissioners, as well as the Criminal Lawyers’ Association, are seeking intervener status in the case, which challenges the former government’s unprecedented rewrite of an old law to get the RCMP and any other government official off the hook for illegally destroying long gun registry records.  “Should this legislation withstand this challenge, it would have far-reaching implications for criminal law principles,” Provincial and territorial information commissioners say they share “profound concern” over questions of “fundamental importance,” including “immunizing public officials from liability and prosecution.” Legislation retroactively removing the right of access and oversight mechanisms in their entirety, or government action destroying the records, is a particularly egregious infringement,” of the constitutionally protected right to access government information,  “Put simply, citizens must expect that when they break the law, they are subject to investigation, proceeding and sanction even if the government subsequently repeals the law that was contravened,” says the CLA submission. “This is fundamental to the rule of law: a citizen is forbidden from breaking the law that exists at the time of their action.”

Canada has finally paid of all of it’s debts, to big business.

There will be no more official tax increases this year, rather the secret, hidden  taxes will be increased.

The Police have promised to improve their self regulations, they bought a larger paper shredder.

The police have promised to cut back on their excessive spending, when they are not working.

2/3 OF ALL CRIMINALS ARE NOT CAUGHT, CONVICTED BY THE POLICE who are too busy pursuing revenue generating traffic tickets

Big Mother Bell has promised to no longer price gouge all of it’s customers, but  it will continue to make significant price increases without notice.

Justin Trudeau as the son of the man who led the country for almost 16 years, Trudeau has more experience in the upper echelons of Canadian political power than most rookie PMs — certainly more than Stephen Harper did when he became prime minister in 2006. Justin likely learned the value of discipline and respect for dissenting opinions under his father’s long tutelage .  When Justin Trudeau officially assumes the top post on Nov. 4, it will be 47 years after his father first became prime minister..  “All his life, he’s lived in a world where he could think of world leaders as actual people,”.  Justin Trudeau acknowledged that being on planes with his dad and his closest advisers gave him an insight into how policy was made Justin Trudeau, AND  wife, Sophie Grégoire-Trudeau, both of them ARE bilingual in English and French,
