Only at elections time it seems the citizens count

0liars-abusers

We seem to get tidbits of citizen concern  information out of Ottawa, STILL EVEN from the Conservative Harper government,  mostly merely when it  is near the election times, when it seems we only count and they now more seriously  do want to get our votes..

.

Even Prime Minister Stephen Harper by his approaches, objectives, commitments, seems to be trying to reassure firstly his selected elements in his base thus to be assured of their support and votes and too often. “It’s all about winning votes” No I do not think that Trudeau is or will be any better as well.. “ but Harper is so focused on winning votes of particular groups, he does not seem to realize  that winning votes in one group may cancel out votes in another group. How about a leader who is looking at the big picture, like an economy that works for everybody, like a clean environment that benefits everybody, like a justice system that treats everyone fairly? That’s what I’ll vote for.”

.

And what about a leader that actually keeps his past election promises? of transparency, accountability and much more?  Even Stephen Harper has not been great at that as well..

.

IF THE NEW CONSERVATIVE  MINISTERS  AND PRIME MINISTER STEPHEN HARPER NOW  ARE LIARS  AND YOU CANNOT TRUST THEM TO TELL THE TRUTH  MOSTLY THEN WHAT OTHER  MINISTERS  CAN YOU PRESENTLY TRUST?

.

Now why are the clearly foolish Canadian  justice ministers, cops, so foolish still  that they do now even think that they can turn the clock backwards and continue again doing the very same bad things now that they all have even been exposed for what they really are world wide even.. they are bad people who abuse citizens and obstruct justice and do need to be put into prison themselves.

VANCOUVER — Many years later the RCMP officer who stunned Robert Dziekanski with a Taser at Vancouver’s airport lied at a public inquiry into the Polish immigrant’s death, a judge ruled. Const. Kwesi Millington fired his Taser multiple times after he and three other officers were summoned to Vancouver’s airport in October 2007. Dziekanski, who spoke no English, had been throwing furniture in the international terminal.  Millington’s verdict marks the first time a judge has concluded that one of the officers lied. Another Mountie, Const. Bill Bentley, was acquitted in 2013, while two other cases have not yet concluded.  The Crown alleged the officers colluded on a story to tell homicide investigators and write in their police notes in an attempt to heighten the threat that Dziekianski posed. Prosecutors argued the officers’ statements and notes all contained similar errors, proving they worked together. The Crown further alleged the officers met in the Vancouver area in the days or weeks before testifying at the inquiry in early 2009 to plan their testimony. A witness, whose ex-husband is Bentley’s cousin, told the court the officers met at her home, but the defence presented telephone records, credit card receipts and other evidence to cast doubt on her testimony. The judge  noted that the officer’s errors all exaggerated the threat Dziekanski posed.

A Quebec  SQ officer is facing charges of falsifying evidence. Constable Sebastien Grenier was suspended with pay last April while police investigated allegations that the officer had handed out bogus speeding tickets in the Eastern Townships. Grenier will appear in court only on  March 27th. His status with the police force is expected to be re-evaluated in the coming days. Meanwhile he gets fully pay..

.

A constable with B.C.’s Abbotsford Police Department has been criminally charged and 16 other officers are under investigation for allegations related to the integrity of statements used in a number of criminal cases to obtain search warrants. Const. Christopher Nicholson has been charged with  breach of trust, obstruction of justice and conspiracy to traffic a controlled substance, the Office of the Police Complaints Commissioner (OPCC) said in a statement released Wednesday.  During the Vancouver Police Department investigation, it says it uncovered further allegations of misconduct against 16 other members of the APD and a total of 148 accusations of misconduct against seventeen members of the Abbotsford Police Department. The accusations include corrupt practice, deceit, and neglect of duty. The OPCC says it has not been able to adequately determine the extent to which prosecutions may have been compromised “due to the lack of adequate disclosure from the police. Deputy Police Complaint Commissioner Rollie Woods says the officers are accused of making up information to secure search warrants. “The concerns raised have an impact of the interplay between key institutional stakeholders within the criminal justice system which include the federal prosecution service, judicial officers and the police. Furthermore, what remains an active concern to the OPCC is the extent to which the search warrants in issue may have contributed to potentially unsafe prosecutions,” reads a statement from the office.

Canada does not have the best Medicare, not even close.. why?

conser-1

Canada’s health-care system compared to other public systems world wide is a let down and the US private system also doesn’t score very well internationally.

.

There are many , many reasons for a start the Doctors and nurses who kill patients, neglect them do not face any negative consequences at all for a start.

.

I have had many American tell me in the US that we have a good Medical system because it is free.. Being free does not  insure a good medical care system if Doctors and Nurses are rarely supervised. The public-private Swiss health system comes first.

.

The Canadian  system also like the U.S. system does  sucks up loads of  money all without producing discernibly better outcomes.

.

In most categories, Canada comes between the middle and the bottom – except in spending, where Canada is in the upper third, per capital.

.

It is the  politicians crap that  Canada having the best Medicare system in the world.

.

” Among 11 countries, Canada ranks last or second-last in getting same- or next-day doctor appointments, finding after-hours care, waiting for more than two months for a specialist appointment or four months for elective surgery.” Getting to see God can be a real nightmare..

.

Canadian patients spend more time in Hospitals per stay, than anywhere else except Japan. Why?  There are too few doctors to look after the patients, the medical system relies on interns  in training and nurses mostly still for the average patient care. Having more beds will not help .

.

Governments, and Hospitals are working  next, now on kicking more people out of hospitals, to  get them out more quickly and still not rather insuring they get helped medically.

.

What does the public think of Medicare? You have to  firstly get admitted to the hospital to find out you are not getting the best care  there possible.

.

When people ask for  “fundamental changes,” what do they mean..  They firstly do want the bad doctors and bad nurses, bad  hospital administrators, fired, discharged not covered up over and over again..

.

The problem is there is not only a lack of accountabilty, but the money is not properly managed.. Ottawa transfers $32-billion a year to the provinces for health care,  but how well is it spent? Many useless  medical test are done in hospitals still as well.

.

So “Ottawa spends another $7.2-billion for specialized health care, including $2.5-billion for aboriginals, $1.1-billion for veterans, $571-million for the military and $614-million for the Public Health Agency. Ottawa also spends money to sponsor medical research.” So what?  Putting more money in pails full of holes is wasteful..

The biggest factor in crash fatalities, OPP

 pm stephen harper beer 4

In spite of the fact only 21 percent of deaths in car crashes were caused by speeding the police issue the most resources, tickets, fines on “speeding” still.

Driver inattention the biggest factor in crash fatalities, OPP say Drawing on 10 years of data from investigations, the Ontario Provincial Police are concluding the majority of fatal collisions on OPP-patrolled roads and highways are a result of poor driving behaviour or driver error.  There were 287 deaths from 265 fatal crashes in 2014.  According to the OPP, 73 were related to distracted driving, 46 were related to impaired driving, 61 were related to speeding, and 50 were related to not wearing a seat belt or a helmet.  There are other factors in collision fatalities as well, police said, and they include animal-related collisions, a driver being under medical distress, and so on. But those factors are not a part of the majority.

.

Though for the past seven months Saskatchewan drivers have faced fines for texting or emailing while driving, three Regina driving instructors have seen little decrease. In 2013, there were 5,745 collisions related to distracted driving, according to SGI; 32 people died and nearly 2,000 were injured. In a recent CAA poll, Canadians ranked texting while driving as their top road safety concern, above drinking and driving, running red lights, speeding and other concerns.

http://www.leaderpost.com/technology/Texting+while+driving+concern+Sask+Poll/10798577/story.html

.

Alcohol-related charges up 37% from last January: OPP The number of alcohol-related charges is up in January compared to the same time last year, according to statistics released by the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP). Police laid 118 impaired driving charges in January, versus 86 charges in January of 2014, which is an increase of 37 per cent.
.

Meanwhile, data from Statistics Canada (1986 to 2011) shows the vast majority of those charged with drinking and driving are male. In 2011, there were 90,277 impaired driving incidents with 82.4 per cent charged being males and 19.6 per cent females. However, there’s been a steady increase in impaired female drivers since the 1980s, while the number of impaired male drivers has decreased slightly.  Statistics Canada numbers from 2011 also show the highest impaired driving rates occurred within the 20 to 24 age group. The rates decrease with increasing age. Also, drivers under 35 years old account for two-thirds of those accused of impaired driving causing death and causing injury in 2011.

.
Too many people Canada wide do now often complain about still being harassed, bullied by Traffic cops and getting unnecessary traffic tickets, especially it seems in Ontario, Alberta too. Cops are no angels themselves for sure.
https://thenonconformer.wordpress.com/?s=speeding
.
It has been my own real witness, experiences the last 50 years that some of the most crooked persons in Canada who firstly do deserve to be jailed, ticketed are the much too many of our bad civil and public servants, bad politicians, bad cops, bad RCMP now as well, and do include here the bad doctors and bad nurses, bad hospital administrators, bad justice ministers, bad health ministers, bad consumer affairs ministers as well….
about 85 percent of the major, real criminals Canada wide now too are never jailed, incarcerated because the too often buck passing and useless  police themselves firstly are bad, they are too lay and clearly incompetent to do their jobs, so they the police do compensate for this by wrongfully giving out money revenue generating traffic tickets to meet their false quotas now even.. for the cops are too often crooked now.. now their supervisors are not any better.

Canada’s Foreign Affairs Minister John Baird

wolves in sheep clothing

I was reading the many New media comments about John Baird is unexpectedly  leaving federal politics they sounded mostly like obituaries where you do not say anything bad, negative about the dead. Baird might be a rat leaving a sinking ship?

.

Canada’s Foreign Affairs Minister John Baird is unexpectedly  leaving federal politics. Sources close to him with direct knowledge of his plans say they expect Mr. Baird to resign his cabinet seat on Tuesday and soon step down as MP for his Ottawa West-Nepean riding. Mr. Baird, 45, is  one of Prime Minister Stephen Harper’s   senior  political lieutenants  but undeniably still  Employment Minister Jason Kenney is arguably the cabinet minister with one of the biggest responsibilities on his plate right now.. Sources say the veteran politician wants to start a new career in the private sector. “The minister is looking to turn the page on 20 years of public service and like anyone in public office is looking for new opportunities,” a source close to the minister said.” Really? sounds like there is much more to it..  “After spending the past few years listening to Mr. Baird going out of his way to legitimize the banality and brutality of a 50-year-old Israeli occupation…  He should first apologize to his own citizenry, many of whom are God-loving Jews, Christians and Muslims who would never condone nor cheer for an Israeli government that stretches support to Israeli settlers who attack churches and mosques. Mr. Baird should apologize for his active encouragement of Israel’s brute and ugly occupation and its apartheid policies. He should apologize for failing to promote those things Canadians hold dear such as freedom, dignity and human rights and for replacing those ideals with an outspoken support of Israel’s clear and undisputed violations of international law. Saeb Erekat, Palestinian chief negotiator and a member of the Palestine Liberation Organization Executive Committee.

.

France doesn’t agree with Canada’s strong support of Israel in its conflict with the Palestinians.  In  Baird’s recent visit to Ramallah  protesters pelted his motorcade with eggs and shoes. The Palestinian protesters also held signs reading: ”Baird, you are not welcome in Palestine” and ”Baird, Jerusalem is our capital.” ”This person backs up the Zionist movement,” . ”This person diminishes the rights of our people, takes part and backs up building of settlements. We tell him that he’s not welcome.” Protester Abdullah Abu-Rahmeh said

.

Canada once had respect of Israel and Palestine:

.

The Israeli-Palestinian conflict is one of the world’s major sources of instability.
1- Israel currently has 262 Jewish-only settlements and ‘outposts’ built on confiscated Palestinian land. Palestinians do not have any settlements on Israeli land.
2- The Israeli unemployment rate is 5.8%, while the Palestinian unemployment in the West Bank is 22.5% and 41% in Gaza.
3- 133 Israeli children have been killed by Palestinians and 2,060 Palestinian children have been killed by Israelis since September 29, 2000
4 -1,195 Israelis and at least 9,826 Palestinians have been killed since September 29, 2000.
5- 11,018 Israelis and 71,841 Palestinians have been injured since September 29, 2000.
6 – During Fiscal Year 2014, the U.S. is providing Israel with at least $8.5 million per day in military aid and $0 in military aid to the Palestinians.
7 – Israel has been targeted by at least 77 UN resolutions and the Palestinians have been targeted by 1
8 – 0 Israelis are being held prisoner by Palestinians, while 6,500 Palestinians are currently imprisoned by Israel.
9- 0 Israeli homes have been demolished by Palestinians and at least 28,000 Palestinian homes have been demolished by Israel since 1967

OTTAWA (Reuters) – The sudden resignation of Canada’s foreign minister John Baird has revealed strains inside the ruling Conservatives and complicates their bid to extend a decade in power in elections this October… insiders said Baird had become increasingly frustrated with officials in Harper’s office, both on major issues and also over what he saw as excessive micro-management. Baird, the sources said, unsuccessfully pushed for tougher measures against Moscow last year. He was also upset that Harper’s office would not allow him to use government jets more often when on official travel. Baird it a  seems  had concluded the low-tax tough-on-crime Conservatives did not have a good chance of winning another majority in the next election.”It’s better to leave now rather than being one of 35 ex-cabinet ministers suddenly seeking a job after the election,” said one of the people, who declined to be named citing the sensitivity of the matter. Baird’s loss is a political and strategic setback that comes at a critical time.

.

Face it
(Eccl 1:9 KJV)  The thing that hath been, it is that which shall be; and that which is done is that which shall be done: and there is no new thing under the sun.
(Eccl 1:14 KJV)  I have seen all the works that are done under the sun; and, behold, all is vanity and vexation of spirit.
(Eccl 3:16 KJV)  And moreover I saw under the sun the place of judgment, that wickedness was there; and the place of righteousness, that iniquity was there.
(Eccl 4:1 KJV)  So I returned, and considered all the oppressions that are done under the sun: and behold the tears of such as were oppressed, and they had no comforter; and on the side of their oppressors there was power; but they had no comforter.
(Eccl 5:13 KJV)  There is a sore evil which I have seen under the sun, namely, riches kept for the owners thereof to their hurt.
(Eccl 9:3 KJV)  This is an evil among all things that are done under the sun, that there is one event unto all: yea, also the heart of the sons of men is full of evil, and madness is in their heart while they live, and after that they go to the dead.
(Eccl 10:5 KJV)  There is an evil which I have seen under the sun, as an error which proceedeth from the ruler:
.
Israel “is the only nation on earth that inhabits the same land, bears the same name, speaks the same language, that it did 3,000 years ago.” except now it does  not worship the same God for it rejected him, Jesus Christ and chose the coming Antichrist Yeshua instead

.

For his strong stands against countries with anti-gay laws, Baird earned the enmity of REAL Women of Canada, a socially conservative women’s group. In 2013, the group accused him of an “abuse of power” for imposing his own views on anti-gay legislation in Uganda, Kenya and Russia. “Mr. Baird’s actions are destructive to the conservative base in Canada and causing collateral damage to his party,” the group fumed in a statement.

.

Recently he was a false attack dog, for  prime minister Stephen Harper’s  pit-bull  in his  speaking his  nonsense against the Russian Takeover of  Crimea, the supposed Russia’s incursions into Ukraine, and was openly critical of the United Nations because it did not support  Israel.

.

John Baird  joined the Canadian government’s condemnation of the  “barbaric” attack on the Paris offices of Charlie Hebdo magazine that left a dozen people dead. Canada stands united with France against acts of terrorism.  “We want to condemn in the strongest terms, this barbaric act. To see 12 people, including two or three law enforcement officials killed in downtown Paris is just horrific,” he said. “I immediately placed a call to my counterpart, to say that we stand in solidarity with the French people at this time.”

.

Baird has recently  been working to secure the release of an accused terrorist  Egyptian-Canadian Al-Jazeera journalist  Mohamed Fahmy from a Cairo, Egypt  prison. Fahmy, who was arrested in 2013 and has been in jail since was sentenced to at least seven years in prison on terrorism-related charges last year in a trial. He was  over their coverage of the violent crackdown on Islamist protests following the military overthrow of President Mohammed Morsi in 2013. Egyptian authorities accused him of providing a platform for Morsi’s Muslim Brotherhood, now declared a terrorist organization.  The family of Mohamed Fahmy has confirmed that the Egyptian-Canadian journalist has given up his Egyptian citizenship in the hope that it will get him released from a Cairo prison. People with dual  citizens are basically non Canadians anyway. Foreign Affairs Minister John Baird has said  he is hopeful Fahmy will be released from jail soon? but gave no specific timing. He believed that Mr Fahmy, the news channel’s Cairo chief who recently gave up Egyptian citizenship, would be deported like his Australian colleague Peter Greste. But a retrial has thrown that into question. John Baird failed here too..

Blocked investigation into Alberta’s tailings ponds

oil-sands

Canada has blocked an investigation into Alberta’s tailings ponds by NAFTA’s environmental watchdog.

.

“It shows that the Canadian government is willing to circumvent institutions that make sure Canada upholds environmental laws.”

.

It’s the third time in a year Canada has successfully stopped NAFTA’s scrutiny of its environmental behaviour.

.

Two environmental groups and three private citizens had asked the commission to investigate whether tailings ponds were leaking into nearby rivers and creeks in northern Alberta.

.

In 2014, with Mexico’s support, it stopped investigations into polar bear protection and B.C. salmon farms.

http://www.cbc.ca/news/politics/nafta-probe-of-alberta-s-tailings-ponds-blocked-by-canada-1.2935004

.

And “Canada, the oil sands’ poor image isn’t just a question of bad PR.  Anti-oil sands sentiment has made it nearly impossible to build the necessary pipeline connections producers need to get all that oil to market. TransCanada Corp.’s crossborder Keystone XL pipeline is in danger of being axed by U.S. President Barack Obama. The industry’s backup plan, Enbridge Inc.’s Northern Gateway pipeline to shipping terminals on the B.C. coast, has become bogged down in political and environmental controversy. Even TransCanada’s Energy East proposal, a sort of backup for the backup, has encountered unexpected political resistance in Ontario and Quebec—two provinces the diluted bitumen must transit through on its way to refineries in New Brunswick.”

.

” Alberta’s oilsands produce more greenhouse gas emissions than some European countries right now and will produce more than all of the world’s volcanoes in just 11 years if the pace of development continues, a new report says.  People will post 1001 excuses justifying this disaster.  http://www.cbc.ca/canada/story/2009/09/13/greenpeace-oilsands.html until it is too late to do anything about it..Remember Chernobyl”
.

SADLY ECONOMICS DO CONTROL THE VIABILITY OF CANADA’S OIL SANDS PROJECTS.  Economics alone   SHOULD NOT now  control the direct oil sand extraction  process, engineering as well and also now not all firms are equally environmentally conscious, concerned so they all do now need to be better managed here, something that has falsely not been adequately done for sure so far.. and yes neither by the provincial or the federal governments HAVE DONE A GOOD JOB HERE. GREED AND PROFIT CANNOT BE ALLOWED TO OVER RULE SAFETY,  THE ENVIRONMENTAL ISSUES, etc

Useless CRTC

0-fderal-conservatives
Sent: Monday, January 26, 2015 12:46 PM
 .
Why does it takes months  and months even  for the CRTC to deal with a clearly open and shut case
where to date  Acanac has lied, abused me, not provided their promised internet services. Well?
Clearly the CRTC is a waste of Taxpayers money
Form letters, excuses, buck passing is not what we need but real, visible, viable results here too.
 .
“Acanac’s High Speed Internet DSL Service  DSL 5.0 mbps   is available across Ontario and Quebec .  Acanac is one of the very few companies in Canada that offers a truly unlimited service at a reasonable price. As a customer of Acanac you will never exceed an artificially imposed monthly allowance of usage . That doesn’t mean we’re perfect, but when we make mistakes we fix them. ( Lies)”
.

Here is just some of what others have also said about them that reflect my dealings with them too.

Absolutely horrible customer service, they are there to take your money and not provide any support at all.   “  ”  Speed is not stable and tech support is very slow. I’ve used Acanac for more than 5 years, rarely have issue with them but once there’s one, it takes weeks to resolve it. very disappointing.”  “ STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!!!!!! This is the worse service I have ever been given in my life.” “ But the customer service is really disappointing.   “  “. Speed has been on the slow to very slow side and I have had my connection lost completely 3 times.   “   “ I used this service for almost 3 years, and wana say that Acanac service becomes the worse and worse, so I cancelled my contract with it. Reasons: 1. Low speed, 2.I didn’t have the entrance to the Internet during several hours almost every day for the last half year. 3. When I tried to reach their technical support service it was a real headache for me. I think they simply ignored my request, but they answering me immediately when I sent the cancelation notice to them. I have to state that Acanac doesn’t care about it’s customers.  “  “  -Service was good, until your service slows or or stops working and you have to reach out for help.  “  “  Finally get useless support email 16 hours after sending in my ticket suggesting I check the cable to the demarc etc etc. Issues continued for a week, customer service never improved. “ “  absolutely terrible customer service. “ “ Acanac has made my life a living hell. Telephone wait times are 45-50 minutes if it is your lucky day or no one answers. Even if someone answers you will quickly realise the guy has no clue or has no inclination to help you. Once the guy was dumb enough to ask me “why did you not send us an email?” Duh!!! I do not have internet?!!! SO PLEASE, PLEASE BE WITHOUT AN INTERNET THAN SIGNING UP WITH THIS COMPANY. THEY ARE HORRIBLE. “  “ However, when you need technical support, you could be put on the phone waiting for hours..  “   Much is promised when inquiring by their sales people, however tech support is non-existent. DO NOT USE UNLESS YOU ENJOY SUFFERING. Tech response is hidden behind a very primitive email service.  DSL connection speed is no better than dial up. “  “Internet goes down at least 4- 6 times a year. You have to call them to get good customer service. Their email and text service is the worst, specially the email response is just a copy and paste , they don’t even read what your problem is.” “  After 2 years, I have had enough – Never again, and I will make sure I tell as many people as I can to never give this company any business “  http://www.canadianisp.ca/cgi-bin/isp_comment_totals.cgi?f=Comments&ispid=52

.

By slowing down my speeds and capping my downloads as well and as not immediately dealing with my many Acanac internet problems too . undeniably Acanac has been guilty of misleading false advertisements and also violation of my annually renewed contract agreement with them.
.
Imagine that  Acanac-Bell has been in Business for many years and was, is still too often, wrongfully guilty now clearly of misleading advertisements, fraudulent and unacceptable business practices, not living up to their contractual obligations, as I now have PERSONALLY WITNESSED, EXPERIENCED  and undeniably detailed to even Acanac-Bell and many others and  many times too now . I had Paid for a   DSL 5.0 mbps  high speed unlimited download service but that is not what I got next. I got low internet speed at a high price. With Acanac-Bell you have to check your actual delivered speeds , “internet download and upload speed test” continually too cause Bell wrongfully seems always  to change it to suit themselves..  they do not, did  honour my contract agreement.
.

Basic Contract law – Basic Contract law – Basic Contract law- Basic Contract law
.
Next here is basic legal, valid  understanding, terms of a valid contract, contract  law for all of the managers, president of Bell and all of  Bell employees too. Not just for any customers. Bell had, has definitely detailed, advertised it’s Internet services to all with their  terms, limitations and any customers who enters into mutually agreed upon terms, agreement with their services now forms the  essential mutually legally binding contract..
.
1: A contract is a legally binding exchange of promises or agreement between competent two parties, persons of legal age too, that the governmental court, the law of the state or province , or country next will enforce. Contract law is based on the Latin phrase pacta sunt servanda (pacts must be kept).  Anyone can enter into a contract, except minors, certain felons and people of unsound mind.  It’s important to know that not all contracts details even  have to be in writing., for instance, certain agreements can also be made and accepted orally and still be legally enforceable. While the contract agreement doesn’t always have to be in writing, all the other elements of a valid contract still have to be met, included, , fulfilled by law. The bottom line is that  the parties generally come to transactions in good faith, mutually trust and understanding, and not a one way approach, one way demands, one way relationship. All valid  courts, will not enforce, accept as valid  any contract to perform an accepted illegal act. A contract to kill some is invalid clearly too.  A person who pays for bad drugs that aren’t delivered can’t next seek the help of a court or the police in getting the money back. Unbelievable some people still do try to do this too. A valid contract also always requires the mutual parties’ consent, which must be freely made, not forced consent,  and clearly communicated to each other. Consent is not free when obtained through duress, menace, fraud,  lies, undue influence or mistakes, serious errors were presented.  Consent isn’t mutual unless the parties agree on the same thing in the same sense, a clear “meeting of the minds. One party now  presenting only their own  their terms, conditions, without the other parties approval, consent, free will   clearly is still not a valid contract.  In order for an acceptance of an offer to be effective, it must be made while the  sales, specific, fixed service offer is still open. Any  person can changes the conditions of an initial offer in responding to the offer, the old offer is clearly now rejected and the changed conditions constitute a counteroffer and that now becomes part of of any subsequent agreed upon contract. I did that with Bell now too. Once there is next a final, written contract between the parties, the parol evidence rule forbids the introduction in a court proceeding of any previous agreements between the parties on the subject matter of the contract.Only certain contracts aren’t valid unless in writing. Generally, they do deal with real property, certain specific loans, debts, money exceeding a certain amount, or contracts concerning the sale of goods worth more than $500 or one that   include  objects that won’t be performed within one year or within the promisor’s lifetime. Bell now being unable to supply me a promised high speed internet but only a low speed one is still a good example of an invalid contract even if was a written one originally from  Bell – Acanac.
.
2: The Specific parties. The contract must always include,  identify who the agreed upon specific parties are; usually names are sufficient, but sometimes addresses or titles may be used.   Bell – Acanac and the specific customer. Me in this case.
.
3: The agreed upon object.  The Offer,  the thing, the value, the  services being agreed to is also known as the object or subject  and it itself not only  must be lawful, possible but it must be a definite, fixed, measurable amount specially now even by the laws of Quebec too. For instance Bell promising to deliver a customer a 6 meg download high speed   internet service, where they know they only have a 3 meg line capacity is not legal or legally binding contract. Bell – Acanac promising to supply their” best services “or “up to 6 megs services” is not legal as well for it is  is not really an agreed upon  fixed  object, rather the object is not definite and most customers have take that to mean 6 megs anyway. . The object of the contract does have to be very specific and measurable. It is Bell – Acanac obligations now to to clerk up any ambiguity on the contract as agree upon by the comer now too. So if Bell – Acanac is  promising a 6 megs internet services, and Bell – Acanac by law  next has to deliver 16 megs to meet their promise that is also now part of the contract too. A specified length of time, such as one year does not mean the contract is still valid if Bell has not lived up to the agreed upon previously contract terms.
.
4: The outcome, or the considerations. All contracts require consideration, meaning each party must gain something fixed, tangible. It may also be something that is or isn’t done or given.   When a party agrees to do something (such as I will paint your house) or to not do something (I will not  sell my  house to anyone else for 30 days) they next also must gain something in return toy make this a valid contract, they must receive  agreed upon   fixed payment, a fixed reward. Generally, if I say I’ll paint your house, and you haven’t promised me anything in return, you can’t sue me next for not showing up because I will not receive  any consideration firstly”. Once a contract has been created, it can be determined if there are any issues that call into question of  its validity too.
  .
5: Termination of contracts.  Breach of contract.  Breach of contract is recognised by the law with applicable penalties now too.  Contracts generally can only be terminated if mutually agree now by both parties as to what the terminations terms included. Parties to a contract may mutually agree to rescind the contract. In that case, the parties may agree on the duties and responsibilities of each party after the rescission. Bell still expecting  me to pay for their internet when they do not keep their promises is a breach of the contract, an invalid demand of me.   Now is the contract  price set, are promised quantities specially  determined, and is the time for performance clearly  stated? There should be enough information contained in the contract  always  that, if needed, the courts likely next  would be able to enforce the contract or determine the appropriate damages. Unless it is mutually agreed upon before any subsequent court demanded decision action,  is taken.  Fraud is the intentional misrepresentation of an important issue of the contract. The presence of fraud in a contractual proceeding makes the contract voidable by the party upon whom the fraud was perpetrated. The contract always still now binds both parties, and not just the customer to the terms, conditions of the contract agreed upon now as well.  Once it is determined that there is a contract, it it  still can, must be determined whether there are any defenses that call into question the validity of the contract.
.
Bell –  Acanac Changing horses, making changes, additions to the contract in midstream is invalid, a breach, still not allowed, especially without the subsequent, and pre consent, approval of both parties now still too and is a breach of contract rather. That includes Bell capping of my bit torrent downloads too on my unlimited download account
.
Yes a   contract also may end because of a breach by Bell – Acanac.  A breach occurs when a person, or a firm  does not fulfill his or her, their  responsibilities as promised in the contract. A breach may be minor or major. A  major breach is one that does affect the subject matter of the contract and does  affect the outcome of the contract.  Bell not having sufficient equipment, capacity in place to meet my high speed internet, is a breach of contract. This is also known as a breach of a material issue. When there has been a breach in a contract, the question of damages is raised. The damages due to a party when there is a contract breach depend on many factors, including: which party breaches, and what damages were incurred. In most cases when an injury results from a contract breach, the injured party receives money damages. Such as I have in Dec  2007 from Bell.  Bell itself has unacceptably cause now in the last many years many unacceptable breaches in our contract that I have clearly even in writing not accepted and have objected too and demand restitution of as well rightfully.Go back to a good school firstly Bell – Acanac if you cannot understand and keep all of this now too.
.
“Despite precedents that show that contracts substantially favoring the party with the greater power often are deemed unconscionable (so unfair as to not be enforceable), lawyers stiff draft them and companies still like them.   Lesson learned: Make deals that are balanced; contracts that distribute risks and responsibilities fairly. Such deals will be honored by courts and your businesses wealth and reputation will benefit over the long term. “ http://troutmanhays.wordpress.com/2008/03/23/one-sided-contracts-are-a-bad-deal-for-all-parties-or-getting-greedy-will-get-ya/
,
In Real Estate specifically , there it is a requirement at Law that contracts be written down in usually lengthy legal forms to avoid uncertainty, ambiguity and to be binding “.   When I asked Bell – Acanac to confirm the contract I had with them in writing they next always had refused to do so.. this speaks for itself..

ONCE AGAIN ALBERTA HEADS INTO A DEPRESSION

ALBERTA’S GREED DID NOT PAY OFF AS EXPECTED AGAIN AND AGAIN
.
Never mind what the spin doctors will say about Alberta’s future, the present reality is  Alberta is mainly, oil and gas, tourists, dependent on its resource sector and  the province has long relied on both the economic activity and the direct revenue from royalties and land sales to underpin government budgets but now this bubble has burst again,  the Oil’s price plunge means a bumpy ride in  all  sales, the economy in Alberta.   ‘Oil Prices are not going to bounce back:’ Prentice gloomy about quick oil recovery. Oil’s price collapse sends shiver across Alberta’s real estate market. Home prices fall also  in Calgary as real estate chill deepens.  Sales are down 7.5 per cent versus a year ago, while the  new listings have   “gushed” 42 per cent higher.  The Bank of Canada’s decision this week to slash its trend-setting interest rate a quarter of a percentage point to 0.75 per cent will not help to pay the high home mortgages many have there. You also cannot borrow more money, or buy more when facing a job cut.  School fees in Alberta triple in five years.   The out-of-pocket cost of sending a child to public schools in Alberta nearly tripled in five years as boards became increasingly dependent on fees to meet their budgets, and the Edmonton police are focusing more energy on   property crimes which  have climbed significantly. There have been 23 break and enters, 28 thefts from vehicles, and 20 thefts of vehicles in the area during the first few weeks of 2015. That is double number of property crimes the neighbourhood experienced at the same time in 2014 .  “The fact that these school fees have increased during a period when this province had record revenues is just not fair to the average Alberta family,”
.
While the Alberta Premier Jim Prentice says there’s no chance that the province can “ride things out” while waiting for a rebound in oil prices. Prentice admits  that a full discussion must be held with Albertans to find a way to deal even tax increases, with a decline of $7 billion in resource revenues triggered by a fall in world oil prices to below US$50 a barrel. Alberta’s prideful boast of being the only jurisdiction in Canada without a provincial sales tax will likely soon be history. The province, with a $40-billion budget, expects to take in only $17 billion in combined corporate and personal income tax this year. Prentice also said that public-sector workers are among the best paid in Canada and will need to step up in tough times. Dream on..Alberta Premier Jim Prentice says there are no simple solutions for the revenue shortfall that will be coming from plummeting oil prices and Albertans will feel the consequences.  Alberta can’t just wait for high prices to return: there has to be a focus on cost-cutting while at the same time providing necessary cash for the also significantly reduced  core services. On top of day-to-day deficits, the province also owes $11 billion for borrowing to pay for past capital projects.  Alberta has to  to do a lot more than pray for another oil boom to come along and to presently pay the Bills..The oils sands  too are not the big miracle Alberta had dreamed on.
.
oil-sands (1)
CANADA’S PRIME MINISTER’S Stephen Harper bad policy on Oil and Putin, where he says Russia has failed on many  fronts and has had no positive gains NEEDS A Re Adjustment. As in his own province things look really bleaker now too. Prime Minister Stephen Harper was openly  punishing Russia but seems to have inflicted more pain on his own people instead. THE OIL PRICE DROP HAS HIT  CANADA  SEVERELY
.
CALGARY – Suncor Energy Inc. slashed $1-billion from its 2015 budget, with oil sands and East Coast projects getting deferred and 1,000 jobs eliminated. That was a day after Canadian Natural Resources Ltd. lopped $2.4-billion from its previously announced 2015 plan  and In oil boom town Fort McMurray, ‘it’s like the place has gone dead’ .  The  Plunging oil prices will cost Canada’s drilling industry close to 23,000 direct and indirect jobs this year, more than were lost during the 2009 downturn, according to updated forecast Thursday by the Canadian Association of Oilwell Drilling. Oil-patch spending cuts  have escalated well into the billions of dollars represent money that won’t go to the Albertan workers. The drillers and oil-field service providers involved in fracking,  maintaining old wells and hauling gear around are just  the thin edge of the wedge in the oil-price collapse as the companies in that sector make even larger cuts to their work forces in the coming months. What a costly Harper fight with Russia for all Canadians.
.

Further more a surge of light oil from North Dakota and Texas is cutting into the earnings of Canadians who turn heavy oil sands into a lighter crude that fetches more from refiners. Producers in Alberta, home of the country’s greatest reserves, upgraded 20 percent less of the region’s crude in October than four years earlier, according to the province’s energy regulator. Two of five plants under construction were canceled and the province’s upgrading and refining capacity fell in 2013 for the first time in three decades. Companies are now sending record amounts of the heavy stuff on pipelines and trains to refineries in the U.S. Midwest and Gulf Coast, Projects including Suncor Energy Inc. (SU)’s Voyageur joint venture with France’s Total SA (FP) and Value Creation Inc.’s BA Energy Heartland were abandoned. Global oil prices, down by more than 50 percent since June, will make upgrading projects even more challenging because the price difference between heavy and light crude is narrower, U.S. output has risen 70 percent in the past five years as producers used horizontal drilling and hydraulic fracturing to tap into previously inaccessible shale rock layers thousands of feet below the Earth’s surface. Most of the increase has been in light, sweet crude, similar quality Alberta upgraders get from processing heavy, thick oil sands. The rising flows south of Canadian crude are drawing a backlash in Alberta from labor groups, who say jobs, not just oil, are being exported. Alberta’s 4.6 percent unemployment rate, second lowest in Canada after Saskatchewan, may increase after oil’s 55 percent drop in six months prompted some producers to curtail future investment. “Building upgraders in Alberta is seen by the industry as uneconomic,” Dinara Millington, a vice president at the Canadian Energy Research Institute, said in an e-mail Jan. 13. “The U.S. refining market is being flooded with the light crude and they wouldn’t necessarily want our light stuff.”

http://www.businessweek.com/news/2015-01-20/shale-oil-growth-in-u-dot-s-dot-hurts-canadians-as-well-as-opec

.

“Canada, the oil sands’ poor image isn’t just a question of bad PR.  Anti-oil sands sentiment has made it nearly impossible to build the necessary pipeline connections producers need to get all that oil to market. TransCanada Corp.’s crossborder Keystone XL pipeline is in danger of being axed by U.S. President Barack Obama. The industry’s backup plan, Enbridge Inc.’s Northern Gateway pipelineto shipping terminals on the B.C. coast, has become bogged down in political and environmental controversy. Even TransCanada’s Energy East proposal, a sort of backup for the backup, has encountered unexpected political resistance in Ontario and Quebec—two provinces the diluted bitumen must transit through on its way to refineries in New Brunswick.”

.

Canadian exporters now also have also been stung by Russia’s currency crisis and its retaliatory sanctions against the West over the crisis in Ukraine.   Companies from farm-equipment manufacturers to pork producers are affected.  The Russian market bought 563-million dollars worth of Canada’s agricultural exports in 2012 Richard Davies, a vice-president at pork and poultry processor in Caaaanada Olymel,  said the fallout from the Ukraine crisis has had a significant effect. Russia has struck back by slapping a ban on meat, seafood, milk and dairy products, fruit and vegetables from Canada, the U.S., the European Union, and other countries.  The Russian government has also limited subsidies, particularly to its agricultural sector.

Mountie charged with trafficking cocaine and Ecstasy

0canada-rcmp-security-2010-e

WEDNESDAY, JANUARY 21, 2015  A Saskatchewan Mountie has been charged with trafficking cocaine and Ecstasy, the RCMP said

The now-suspended officer has been on the force nearly seven years and was stationed in Swift Current as a general duty constable since 2012, the RCMP said.

“It’s very disheartening that a serving police officer, sworn to uphold the law, is facing criminal charges,” RCMP Supt. Alfredo Bangloy said in a statement. ”

.

“An Ontario Provincial Police officer working out of a detachment in the east region has been charged with criminal harassment. The OPP’s professional standards bureau launched an investigation into the provincial constable in September 2014 after a complaint was filed.  The 37-year-old officer was arrested four months later on Jan. 29. He is charged with two counts of criminal harassment and one count of unlawfully being in a dwelling. He is scheduled to appear in court in Renfrew on March 25. The man is a 13-year member of the OPP and is “presently on leave,” OPP said in a media release. His name is not being released in order to protect the identity of the victim.” and if you belive this you are dumb, really dumb..

.

Look the RCMP even had known   for years specifics details by wire tapping about the Corruption in the Quebec city halls and they next still did nothing good about it..

.

People in leadership office do have to face higher penalties as an example now too. It is clearly established, accepted fact by most people that those in leadership civil and public servants cops, teachers, ministers, politicians included  are always to be exemplary in behavior,  conduct and they do need to maintain their high standards even out of their working hours, thus to do so they are also to be exemplary  judged, prosecuted  for their own wrong doings with a higher standard over those of us ordinary folks.

.

Too many police officers are now too often guilty of their most serious neglect of public trust and their duty. The related truth is that neither an independent police investigation, a new police commissioner,  a promised provincial or federal investigation, or just more politicians promises too often still   will not bring the much needed justice. All of the governments can prohibit the initial and further employment of any known racists for any jobs, and can  punish them for their racists acts, views. Police managers continue to promise the reforming of bad cops and the bad cops keep killing, abusing  innocent persons. The possible retraining of bad  police officers is always anyway a false myth. What thus is always needed is the real  the dismissal, criminal prosecution, of the guilty cops. So where is it? Speeding is not the main cause of car accidents, impaired driving is, but too many cops are alcoholics it seems who wrongfully do sympathize with drunks and as a result do not arrest drunks all year .. https://thenonconformer.wordpress.com/2010/07/18/we-all-do-know-it-is-merely-the-tip-of-a-large-iceberg/

I support this- Free education at all Levels

free eduation 7

Our public servants, politicians  too often do abuse, steal our tax money, eat in fine restaurants, travel abroad at our expense, should rather start to care about the rest of us!

President Obama says he wants Americans to view college as they do high school – a necessary step up the education ladder that anyone can take if he or she wants. That’s why he’s proposing an ambitious federal-state partnership to boost tuition assistance for students at public community colleges, he says. “What I’d like to see is the first two years of community college be free for everybody who’s willing to work for it,” Mr. Obama said

.

The public funding of Quebec universities is a crucial investment for the future of our society, The government’s rapid and resolute cost-cutting exercise is sowing uncertainty, antagonizing the populace and jeopardizing universities’ abilities to fulfill their mission. Nothing at this time justifies such a rigid schedule for achieving a zero deficit. If the government cuts too much too quickly, it will create another deep deficit — an educational deficit — that will affect society for decades. I know the goal is to leave Quebec prosperous for generations to come. To achieve this, we must have healthy universities.

.

The Finns also see education as a long-term investment, a cost of doing business as an advanced economy. Education is free from daycare to graduate school — not only for Finns, but anyone else who wants an education there. Since many post-secondary programs are in English, this brings in hordes of bright young foreign students. About half of them go home as friends of Finland; the other half stay, settle down, and help build their new country.

Consider another small country that offers free advanced education: Cuba. Since 1999, the Cubans have run the Latin American School of Medicine, perhaps the biggest medical school in the world. It offers free medical training to some 19,500 international students, meeting the standards of the Medical Board of California. Many of its graduates go home to care for poor people in their own countries, and hundreds are now working in West Africa to fight Ebola. In over fifty years of exporting medical aid, the Cubans have not only made money, but earned enormous international good will.   Even the Americans, have praised the Cubans’ battles against cholera in Haiti and Ebola in West Africa.

.

Now  to our own surprise, we turned out to be pretty good at teaching immigrants’ children and preparing them for more than hewing wood and drawing water, But not our own kids.. why is that?

.

Recently, the government of Lower Saxony (a German state) decided to abolish tuition fees and make Germany a tuition-free country once again. Free tuition-supporters in this country have noticed this development and are now asking, “Why not Canada?”

It is within this context that the Nova Scotia branch of the Canadian Federation of Students (CFS) published a report in September calling for the elimination of all provincial university tuition fees by 2026.

CFS regional chairperson Anna Dubinski says that student debt hinders the province’s economy by deterring people from attending post-secondary institutions. The CFS argues that abolishing tuition fees would lead to greater participation in post-secondary education at little overall cost to the provincial treasury.

.

All children in Quebec should have free access to public primary and secondary education, says group,  Majority of Quebec students now want free education.  .

During the 2012 student strike movement, then-Fédération étudiante collégiale du Québec president Léo Bureau-Blouin argued in favour of a freeze on university tuition fees. An MNA for the PQ since September 2012, he now calls the government’s indexation of tuition fees a “great compromise” and “a big victory for students.” “I defended a tuition fee freeze when I was a student representative and I still believe this is a great way to increase accessibility to post-secondary education,” he said.   http://thelinknewspaper.ca/article/5808

CLASSE, which speaks for 100,000 Quebec students, says free education is entirely achievable and used a march attended by several hundred people on Saturday to highlight the issue. “Our struggle for accessibility to higher education is not yet over,” said Jérémie Bédard-Wien, a spokesman for CLASSE.  CLASSE says it wants education to be completely accessible by being entirely free.     http://www.theglobeandmail.com/news/national/with-quebecs-tuition-hikes-defeated-classe-presses-on-for-free-education/article4561489/

.

Free Medicare, Free education, as with free dental care and free public transit, are really a must.

.

Eliminating tuition fees for university students is an  efficient policy idea. Students themselves share in the benefits of higher education through increased lifetime earnings and the citizens next as well though the earned taxes paid. And we’d raise the quality of our own teachers by making their training free as well — if they qualify. And when the Students all do graduate, they shouldn’t have to struggle to pay bills for food, shelter or clothing, and thus will not be a burden to the state.

.

And  the Quebec government’s proposal to create a new watchdog to oversee universities  and Hospitals now as well is valid, natural.. some of the biggest crooks are even the educated folks..  and our Doctors, Nurses, Hospitals and the Police, RCMP are also now very poorly managed too ALL AT THE TAXPAYER’S EXPENSES.

Ironically and hypocritically  while the  Liberal Quebec Premier Jean Charest faced even still very numerous QUEBEC STUDENT PROTESTS about his plans to RAISE UNIVERSITY EDUCATION COSTS SIGNIFICANTLY and now also  faced  a new political  candidacy, the  anti-corruption hero Jacques Duchesneau, who had just  announced Sunday he is running for the Coalition Avenir Québec party , yes all while  the anti-corruption platform is also still  dominating too  headlines issue  in the Quebec province throughout the early days of this  QUEBEC  PROVINCIAL  ELECTION Campaign,  the same JEAN CHAREST HAD NOW  ALSO  NEXT HAD CLEARLY INDULGED in more corruption  by trying to BUY  VOTES, when he said, would  give $100 per child every year to families with children in public elementary schools. The initiative would begin in 2013 and would cost an estimated $45 million a year, assuming 450,000 eligible children. No money AVAILABLE  for university students Jean Charest  and his Liberals HAD CLEARLY said before his threat of clearly losing the election ehh..   https://thenonconformer.wordpress.com/2012/08/06/quebec-election-no-money-available-for-university-students/

Theft by perverse Lawmakers, Administrators

 canada-police-farce

The Montreal Police Brotherhood is calling on lawmakers to reduce the quotas of tickets officers are expected to write in an effort to put police back to more important police work. A police department is expected “to give more and more tickets to get more money for the city hall,” The quotas for police do seem steep. According to the Police brotherhood, a biker cop is expected to write 18 tickets a day, and a traffic officer, 16. The union is absolutely right in its claim that the police priority should be the security of the public, not the financial security of the city.

.

NYPD Citations for traffic violations fell from 10,069 to 587 in the week starting Dec. 22 . The NYPD confirmed a report that arrests have plummeted in the wake of the murder of two police officers in Brooklyn on Dec. 20. and citations for traffic violations fell 94% in the week starting Dec. 22 compared with the same period a year ago,  Even parking violations are way down, dropping by 92 percent, from 14,699 to 1,241,  and what  we’re supposed to see this as a bad thing? Not at all.  Whose safety concerns were the main reason for the drop off in police activity? The NYPD’s new  failure to arrest and cite people will also end up costing the city hall itself  huge amounts of money that it won’t be able to steal, seize from its citizens, acts themselves which are the real perversity.

.

The same slow down  is going on in Quebec  by the police but for a different reason..

.
“It’s very sad, now, policing is becoming a business, it’s taking justice and putting it on the business side, the situation shows an abuse of the trust citizens put in their government.  They’re paying for a police service,”  What they’re getting are tickets. ” Are rather being robbed.
.
Speeding undeniably is not and has never been the main cause of personal vehicular accidents so a theft, by the clearly also still perverse  Lawmakers, Administrators,   wolves in sheep clothing, of  the citizens purse strings is clearly really still perverse and unacceptable. Even so when the Municipalities themselves do face budget cuts..
.
wolves in sheep clothing
 .
The reality of a pile-on effect of the too often still  unwarranted fines leading to the robbing of he citizens money by perverse administrators  is  leading to more serious disrespect of the overall justice, political systems while no  one seems to care about this falsely too.
 .
Yes  the serious degeneration of respect by particularly by the poor, working poor, of petty law enforcement fines related to how they move generally harmlessly through the world will have negative consequences on the overall system itself especially   while the rather too often perverse civic leaders themselves show no mercy, sympathy to the citizens rights.  Citizens too often  discover  the dire Effects of Petty Law Enforcement regarding the usage of their cars, supposedly public safety too now,  while the same political administrators who demand for economically gain the enforcement of the laws, abuse the tax payers money on the jobs with their out of town travels, lavish personal expense accounts, fine dining, bribes as well..
 .
The too common nation wide  phenomenon of the administrators false emphasis  on  misdemeanour crimes comes about not cause the citizens have really done something wrong but is  more strongly linked to administrative economics thefts over  any real  misdemeanour offense and leads furthermore to a false increase of the citizens court costs and their personal insurance on their cars as well and  this is generally a two fold robbery thus.
 .
Sadly not Just in the US but in Canada now as well the mostly petty bylaw enforcement to falsely reduce the poor citizens of their hard earned money by the  the courts, political administrators has lead to the the rightful serious lack of respect for law enforcement officers and the Justice system now as well . A fact the police themselves are aware when they often in sympathy refuse to enforce the false quota put on traffic, speeding tickers. The reasons for the state to deprive falsely someone of the right to move about by our culture’s most efficient means are multiplying even:  Most  traffic tickets being issued these days still  had nothing to do with any demonstrated inability to drive well.  A large number of tickets are for reasons that have nothing to do with unsafe driving. These reasons include even more unpaid traffic tickets, falling behind on child support,
 .
“ A study in 2013 from the American Association of Motor Vehicle Administrators raised concerns that police and state and local motor vehicle officials find too much of their time and budget tied up going after people with suspensions for minor law breaking that has nothing to do with safe driving.

Real accountability and real fairness needed in Canada

1-canada-quebec-flag

.

Guilty, tried and convicted outside of the courts tends to apply mainly for the ordinary citizens but not for police, public and civil servants, politicians..

.

The hypocrisy is incredible too many  politicians are  caught “do as I say and not as I do” World.  No big surprise here. The Politicians, police, bad civil and public servants can do what we normal citizens aren’t  allowed to do.

.

The reality is that hardened criminals and hardened policeman too, bad civil and public servants, bad politicians are an acceptable threat to anyone and both need to be equally prosecuted by the law.  It is necessary to get both of these type of bad people of the streets.
