Harper “appreciates and accepts the apology” over wafer story

“Media ought to apologize to Harper for ‘wafergate’This small article that puts the blame on a small eastern newspaper for the story about Prime Minister Stephen Harper pocketing the wafer at Romeo LeBlanc’s funeral is an example of what is wrong with the media today. Every media outlet in Canada took great glee in reporting this story when the prime minister was at an important meeting in Europe. More and more Canadians are getting browned off with mainstream media. The political bias they show towards the left wing parties in Canada is obvious and blogs have become the main source of coming close to the truth whether it be federal, provincial or municipal politics. What a pleasure it would to see an apology to Harper for this embarrassing lie by the likes of the CBC, CTV and even your newspaper for carrying it as true because it disparaged the prime minister. Regardless of your political leanings, an untrue accusation against our country’s leader deserves a national apology and not just passing it off on a small eastern newspaper when it was repeated across the nation. What happened to the prime minister can also happen to any leader of the opposition if journalists in this country do not have the integrity to make sure a newswire story is true before printing it. As the media found out, most Canadians, including Roman Catholics, thought it was a non-starter. G.D. Gurr Nanaimo” http://www.canada.com/Media+ought+apologize+Harper+wafergate/1847934/story.html

The publisher and editor of the New Brunswick Telegraph-Journal are no longer with the paper after it was forced to apologize to Stephen Harper and two of its own reporters over a story about whether the prime minister took communion at the state funeral of former governor general Roméo LeBlanc.

CBC News has confirmed that editor Shawna Richer has been fired and that Jamie Irving is no longer the publisher of the paper.

The apology, which ran on the provincial newspaper’s front page on Tuesday, said the story that ran on July 8 that accused Harper of placing a communion wafer in his pocket was “inaccurate and should not have been published.”

“There was no credible support for these statements of fact at the time this article was published, nor is the Telegraph-Journal aware of any credible support for these statements now,” the apology said.

“Our reporters Rob Linke and Adam Huras, who wrote the story reporting on the funeral, did not include these statements in the version of the story that they wrote. In the editing process, these statements were added without the knowledge of the reporters and without any credible support for them.

“The Telegraph-Journal sincerely apologizes to the prime minister for the harm that this inaccurate story has caused. We also apologize to reporters Rob Linke and Adam Huras and to our readers for our failure to meet our own standards of responsible journalism and accuracy in reporting.”

During a news conference at the Group of Eight summit in L’Aquila, Italy, on July 10, Harper slammed the allegations that he had pocketed the wafer.

“I think somebody running a story — and I don’t know where responsibility lies — somebody running an unsubstantiated story that I would stick communion bread in my pocket is really absurd,” Harper said.

“First of all, as a Christian, I’ve never refused communion when offered to me. That is actually pretty important to me,” he said.

“And I think it’s a real, frankly, a low point. This is a low moment in journalism, whoever is responsible for this. It’s just a terrible story and a ridiculous story, and not based on anything, near as I can tell.”

On Tuesday, the Prime Minister’s Office told CBC News that Harper “appreciates and accepts the apology.”

Now how anyone could have stooped so low to try to insult the, promote hatred towards  the Conservative Prime Minister in this manner is a despicable, unacceptable  reality..

” For the love of all that’s holy… what does it matter if the PM took or did not take, swallowed or did not swallow a wafer? “

” This was a low blow and bad journalism. When the media tries to make a scandal out of minor events such as this, it makes all media look less legit.”

” So the lie was included somewhere “in the editing process.” Will some editor lose his or her job over this ? Or at least, be reprimanded ? Don’t hold your breath. The media are totally ungoverned. There are no standards for good reporting , and no repercussions (for the most part) for careless reporting.  That’s why the media serve up so much distorted mush, and are rated lowest in every survey relating to respect from the public.”

“Hey, I have to wonder, how many other “news” stories have the editors of the Times & Transcript, Telegraph Journal, and Daily Gleaner made up over the years.  Irving propaganda rags.”

” The quality of journalism has declined markedly in the past 3 decades. Today, the pressure to fill TV time and printed pages has surpassed the noble objectives of truthful and accurate reporting.

” Does this really suprise anyone the Telegraph Journal making a story up without the facts. This only shows the people of New Brunswick what kind of news reporting a monoply owned indusrty has to offer. I gave up on the news paper long ago and get my news from the net .”

“I’m no Harper fan, but he WAS there as a sign of respect for another Christian church.”

“It doesn’t matter which political party one supports or the editorial bias of the particular media outlet. The first obligation of journalism should be honesty.”

In this case it appears that an overly-eager or politically-biased editor simply decided to make things up to embarass Prime Minister Harper. Shame on him or her…he or she should be fired and drummed out of the profession.

It has often been said that newspapers write for those with a Grade 6 education. It seems that they have taken to hiring reporters and editors who are at that level themselves.

Congratulations to the paper for owning up to its error (albeit a long time coming). Shame on those who created the false and biased story.”

” After all the Liberal leaning rags and the left-leaning CBC jumped all over this story about a communion wafer, you would have thought that someone would apologize for using the funeral of a respected man to further their cause in attacking the PM.

Frankly, this “story” about the communion wafer was as newsworthy as reporting what the PM throws away in his trash. Nothing but tabloid journalism and the people involved in reporting anything other than the man who passed away should be ashamed.”

JOHN BAIRD’S MANURE PILE

Many many years ago I had clearly written that all Canadians are more concerned about what the government is doing now  to assist, help them Canada wide, fairly and equally now too, in their daily lives while the federal and provincial politicians clearly are concerned about getting more power for themselves, empire building. As long as the politicians continue to have this wrong priority there will continue to be minority governments.

Canadians concerns include Swine flu pandemic preparedness, Food and Meat inspections, Water Quality, EI overhaul, Uniform EI standards Canada wide, Recession, Job creation programs, Health care improvements, Pension funds, Canadian Trade export restrictions, and clean energy, pollution control, for most Canadians want Alberta’s tar oil sands production cut and clean-energy replacements approach instead.

Central monitoring of infrastructure spending not feds’ role: Baird Wed Jul 29, 6:42 PM  OTTAWA – It’s not up to the federal government to closely monitor how money intended for road, sewer and other projects is actually spent, suggests the federal minister in charge of infrastructure. The government’s main role in distributing the nearly $12 billion in cash it announced in the 2009 budget is to make sure the money gets out the door, says Transport Minister John Baird.” It’s not big government’s role and Ottawa to centrally manage everything,” Baird said when asked how his department is monitoring spending. “This is what gives government a bad name, when the government just sort of tries to wash its hands and say well, the other levels of government will look after this,” said Liberal critic Gerard Kennedy. “(Baird) made all the decisions about which projects should get funded, so … he can’t just foist them on municipalities and provinces and not take responsibility for ensuring money is well spent.”

UNDER THE LIBERALS WHEN THE TAXPAYER MONIES WAS ABUSED THE CONSERVATIVES READILY HAD HELD THE LIBERALS SOLELY RESPONSIBLE  AND HAD BEEN ELECTED ON CONSERVATIVE RESPONSIBILITY, ACCOUNTABILITY BUT NOW THE SHOE IS ON THE OTHER FOOT THE CONSERVATIVES FALSELY WHISTLE ANOTHER TUNE..

Conservative cabinet ministers aren’t all singing from the same songbook when it comes to the recession.  Finance Minister Jim Flaherty said Tuesday he’s not ready to declare the recession over, as the governor of the Bank of Canada did last week. But Trade Minister Stockwell Day supported the bank’s analysis in a newspaper column Monday. “I’m not kidding. The recession is over,” Day wrote in the Penticton Western News on Monday. Reporters next had asked Day about his comments as he emerged from a caucus meeting Wednesday. He now did not repeat his assertion that the recession is over. LIAR ,  LIAR, LIAR Trade Minister Stockwell Day HAS NOT YET EVEN OPENED UP THE US BORDER STILL TO EASY TRADE ACCESS AS WELL..

“It’s not just unemployment insurance, there’s a lot of areas where the government is not doing a good job and they need to do better,” Liberal leader Michael Ignatieff  said.

Liberal Leader Michael Ignatieff NOW HAS turned hawkish on Wednesday and gave every indication that he wants to bring down the Harper government in the fall. The Liberal Leader did not say whether he would move a non-confidence motion when Parliament reconvenes in September, but he said it was “not an unreasonable extrapolation.” The comments were a clear departure from Mr. Ignatieff’s position a month ago when he made a deal with Prime Minister Stephen Harper to avoid a summer election. But there are signals that Mr. Ignatieff has heard the concerns of Liberal members who are tired of propping up, ensuring the survival of the Conservative government.  The Liberals will get an opposition day in the House of Commons in late September, at which point they will be able to put a non-confidence motion to a vote. The Liberals have been complaining for months about the Harper government’s handling of the stimulus package, the rising deficits , the medical isotope crisis , EI reform.  Statistics Canada reported that the number of people receiving EI benefits climbed sharply in May, up 9.2 per cent from April and the highest since the federal agency began collecting such statistics in 1997. Some 778,700 people received benefits under the EI program in May, up by 65,600 from a month earlier. http://www.theglobeandmail.com/news/politics/liberal-leader-toughens-line/article1235216/

Almost since my first job after graduating from university I had learned that people are not to be trusted, need to be supervised, and corruption still exists in construction, universities, municipalities, governments, corporations, amongst professionals and politicians as well.

Here still  is what I cannot understand about the federal job creation programs carried out under both the liberal and conservative governments, is the necessity it seems to give money firstly to the municipalities, as though they have a direct effect on voters.. Nothing can be farther from the truth for  neither the police themselves, nor the municipalities have a significant vote as to how the citizens will vote on election days. The only group  that can likely have any effect on the voters are pastors, and priests in fact.

Here is what I know for sure in Canada proper policing, management ,  supervision  human rights commissions are a real fact of life, society, in schools, life,  in churches, governments, commerce, institutions, civil and public services, professional services too,  and elsewhere, even on the net,  for you will always have those 30 percent at least of the persons who will try to cheat, lie  , steal, bend the rules, falsely believe they are above the laws, Self  regulation alone is too often pretentious, farcical, often not applied as well. That applies especially to the professionals, civil and public services, police, municipalities, politicians now as well..

Will Stephen Harper also now really tackle white-collar crime?   Canada’s unacceptable shortcomings in the prosecution of white-collar criminals.  Not surprisingly the RCMP commercial crime investigators and prosecutors and pretentious persons, incumbent, lazy no good persons too often it seems as well as I too have now found out firsthand.. But that is they way the RCMP generally is these days it seems.. Thus explains the reason some of Canada’s most notorious white-collar gangsters–including Conrad Black, David Radler, Alan Eagleson, Martin Chambers, and Garth Drabinsky–were all charged in the United States.  Sometimes, conservatively minded politicians, lawyers, and white-collar criminals all attend the same cocktail parties and political fundraisers. Next the government leaders merely do Pretend that they still care and are doing something  by proposing self regulation.. How still very absurd. “Consistent with Stephen’s Harper’s neo-conservative ideology of privatization and deregulation, Harper wants greater ‘self-regulation’ of Canada’s financial industry,”  “Harper unveiled a plan in his 2007 budget to adopt ‘principles-based’ regulation of the securities and financial industry.  The problem is, business ‘principles’ are, by nature, about making money – not about looking out for the welfare of the public.”  All Self regulation tends to be mere masturbation, just more cover-up,  and it is not close to the real thing. “Harper says he’s now prepared to crack down on the scumbags who drain pensioners’ bank accounts”.  How he does it will show how sincere he is in doing it now too.

“Madam Justice Mary Lou Benotto wants to send a message to white-collar crooks like Garth Drabinsky: Our justice system will deal with you severely. As she sentenced the former impresario to seven years in prison Wednesday, she argued that a crime like his is serious, because it “fosters cynicism [and] erodes public confidence in the financial markets.” Sternly, she noted, “Those in business must know that this must be the response.”

In fact, those in business must know Canada is a fine place to fleece the innocent and cook the books. Not for us the crusading prosecutors, the quick indictments, the speedy trials, and the lifetime jail sentences so popular in the United States.

Here, you can be pretty sure the law will take years to catch up to you (if it ever does). In the event you are found guilty, the penalty won’t be so bad.

Thanks to our generous parole provisions, Mr. Drabinsky could get out of jail after 14 months or so. Not that he’s going to the slammer any time soon. Not until his lawyer exhausts the appeals. “In the U.S., he probably would have been tried eight or nine years ago,” says forensic accountant Al Rosen, who thinks Canada’s systematic failure to prosecute corporate fraud is a bad joke. “And he probably would’ve got 20 to 40 years.”

Today, after a decade of hefty legal bills, Mr. Drabinsky is so broke he has been reduced to begging money off distant acquaintances in exchange for discounts at his Yorkville art gallery. On the other hand, 10 years of freedom (and counting) may well be worth it. Journalists who began covering the Livent debacle early in their careers have grey hair now. Perhaps that explains the sense of anticlimax in the courtroom yesterday.

Compared to the obscure manipulations of Conrad Black (part of whose conviction may well be overturned by the U.S. Supreme Court), the fraud scheme carried out by Mr. Drabinsky and his partner, Myron Gottlieb, was plain vanilla. It involved an old-fashioned kickback scheme and a years-long effort to dupe the shareholders by making Livent’s financial picture look far brighter than it was. The most surreal moment of the trial came when lawyer Eddie Greenspan (who also acted for Lord Black) proposed that instead of doing jail time, his client could embark on an inspirational speaking tour with the goal of urging young people to pursue their dreams in the performing arts. Had he made a similar proposal for Lord Black, he’d have been laughed right out of Chicago.

Lord Black, unlike Mr. Drabinsky, will have to serve almost all of his 61/2-year sentence. Mr. Drabinsky could well get out of jail first. Surely, Lord Black (who stood by his old friend when times got tough) must be tempted to contemplate the unfairness of it all. After all, if Canada and not the United States had gone after him, chances are he’d still be a free man.

These days, as newly exposed Ponzi schemes spring up like ragweed, Prime Minister Stephen Harper is vowing a crackdown on white-collar crime. “These crimes have real victims,” he declared last week, “and we should have a justice system that responds accordingly.” But don’t expect anything to happen soon. Unfortunately, the body entrusted with laying charges in cases such as Livent is still the RCMP, far better known for tasering the innocent than nailing the fraudsters.

“I’ve turned over files to the RCMP and nothing happens,” laments Al Rosen, the forensic accountant. “We just don’t have people who are trained in what to look for. We have bad securities acts. We have bad sentencing guidelines. We’ve had some bad court decisions. We’re 80 years behind the U.S. If you’re a crook, this is the best place to be.”

Back in court, the judge had more tough words. “Members of the business community must be put on notice that honesty is the currency in which they trade,” she said. “If they stray, the punishment will be certain and severe.” Stirring words indeed. If only the system worked that way.”

Meanwhile a  third candidate is seeking the leadership of Alberta’s Wildrose Alliance Party.  Jeff Willerton, a self-described blue-collar guy from southern Alberta, threw his hat into the ring on Saturday. Willerton says if elected he will work to censure the Alberta Human Rights Commission. He also thinks Alberta needs smaller, more affordable government.  http://ca.news.yahoo.com/s/capress/090801/national/wildrose_alliance_leadership

What  absurdities for a political platform again

The human rights commission is  an acceptable , necessary fact of life especially now in Alberta.. (2 Tim 3:1 KJV)  This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. 2    For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, 3    Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good,

Alberta needs much more. a lot more  than any  smaller, more affordable government. It needs a competent, effective, capable  leadership, government, and never mind the size. The size does not guarantee that now too.

Alberta’s Manure Pile

A bad image problem  is not the only main problem for Alberta even in July 2013..

Many of those affected by the recent flooding in Canmore,  Calgary, Exshaw, high River, etc,  are now looking back on the month that was and are starting to rebuild.

.

Flood info sessions planned. Provincial experts on flood mapping and the disaster recovery program will be available in communities affected by the floods at upcoming public information sessions.

.

The province is mandating that homeowners who live in the flood way can choose to rebuild and repair, or leave. If they choose to relocate, the province will assist them — in some cases, that means purchasing land. Residents living in flood fringe areas must flood-proof their homes if they want to eligible for flood relief in the future. The first information session was held in High River tonight. There are sessions planned in Medicine Hat, Calgary, Canmore, Lethbridge, Bragg Creek and Turner Valley. Many Albertans still do say they’re having a tough time finding contractors and equipment and others are still waiting for word on compensation from insurance companies and the province. The provincial government announced its long-term flood recovery and said “We know this work will take years — not weeks or months — and we will be there to support communities in their renewal efforts over the long term,” said Premier Alison Redford in a release. Prepared by the Flood Recovery Task Force, the plan looks to focus on four areas: financial support, repairing infrastructure, mitigating long-term environmental impacts and nurturing economic growth through reinvestments.

.

The sudden collapse in Oil Prices and subsequent revenue to the Province can’t be magically replaced by sound budget planning. Ostriches in denial would spin like this..in reality History repeats itself.. remember the 1980’s. 2009-10 when Jobs were lost, homes went into foreclosures, property values went down due the flood of homes for sale on the market. divorce increased.. Sadly they in Alberta do not learn not the first, second or the third time. When they were rich, proud and arrogant the Conservative leaders of Alberta were too proud to heed to others, to take advice… but now that they are facing serious ,drastic economic downturn they merely pretend they are ready to listen.. and how long will that next last? Instead of saving , planning effectively for a rain days the politicians of Alberta were living high on the hog, spending the citizens money, and not really caring about the citizens own good welfare. ” The Alberta government didn’t have a plan unless you consider shovelling money out the back door as fast as it came in the front to be a plan. “Making use of the revenues” meant spending the revenues. When times were good it outspent every other province in the country on a per-capita basis. It may have been a Conservative government in name, but its spending was liberal, in every sense of the word. Many Albertans told them to save more, even the Liberals. Various groups, including one of the government’s own creations called the Financial Management Commission, were telling the government as far back as 2002 it had to save more money during the good times. Granted, Ralph Klein was in charge back then and he responded by ratcheting up spending and giving away $1.4 billion in Ralphbucks. To emphasize its pessimistic message, the government is no longer rejecting out of hand the notion of a provincial sales tax ” Alberta the two horse town, Oil and beef, needed to diversify but now is too late.. it’s electrical costs are much too high, and it’s cost of living as well, high cost labour now too… many hidden costly taxes, and add to that the many technical incompetents existing in this province and you got nothing but mostly a bunch of whiners and losers.. But now they can all put their seat belts on it is going to be a rough recession ride, about 15- 20 times worse than what Alberta had experienced in the 80’s too and alot of Albertan homes went into foreclosures. It might be hard for many Canadians, particularly in hard-hit Ontario, to feel much sympathy for this western province. After all, there was a distinct cockiness in the way “The New West” asserted its newfound position of fiscal superiority this decade over Central Canada in particular.” They had often rubbed it all proudly in our face, Alberta’s wealth, it’s importance, no taxes, a great future, and what ever before that.. Because too many Albertans were openly bashing the poor people for decades as well, now they too do have to walk in a poor man’s shoes themselves.. I REMEMBER WHEN MANY ARROGANT ALBERTANS, POLITICIANS USED TO FALSELY BOAST ON THE NET ABOUT THEIR PROSPERITY.. and I would reply they need to be really now more considerate of the poor people and the rest of Canada for they too will ONE DAY be on social aid, EVEN asking other Canadians to help them.. it is funny how reality comes to pass with time even in Alberta.

.

Alberta’s surprise recession is not much of a surprise to the wise… for false pride still comes before a great fall.. lay off the too many abusive cops, bad city hall employees as well in Alberta and save the money now too. You have to be rather kind, nice to everyone, even the Albertans now too, cause you do not know to whom you will go begging for help next as well.

.

Alberta now faces two possible outcomes: The foolish one where it falsely gambles on good luck – a quick turnaround in oil and gas prices as the world economy recovers which is very very unlikely… any recession turnaround will still take decades to occur.. so the second alternative besides their aggressive budget slashing not unlike the wholesale cuts is social welfare, asking the federal government for money.. which they have started to do.. and many Albertan now before all this had called people on welfare as being bums or Communists, and how do they now see themselves now? https://thenonconformer.wordpress.com/2009/02/20/pride-comes-before-a-fall-in-alberta-too/

.

” So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth.” (Revelation  3:16 KJV)

.

Politicians are paid by the tax payers to look after the good welfare of all citizens and sadly this has not been even  the case the last 20 years even in the federal cabinet. It should be still the case. As usual the  governments, representatives, Ministers included  also do try  to do as little work as possible, to spend as little money directly on the good welfare of the citizens themselves

.

What is the major problem with still allowing our civil and public servants, mangers, supervisors, Ministers abusing the tax payer’s money? Well simply next it is the governmental services to the poor and needy persons, those who can afford it the least, that are too often cut, including Health Services too.. It also generally leads to the rich getting richer and the poor getting poorer too. That all is all really unacceptable and immoral too..

.

There are in reality two personnel, resources management approaches we need all to use and related messages we give out .. “Rewards and punishment”..  one is positive and the other  one is negative.. both are the needed  reality  now for all as well .. an  ostrich approach to the negative or even the critical messages is wrong and does not cause positive changes  now as well.. the one sided positive messages,  management style approach  are mere lies.. for in reality those whom  I love I also do chasten and rebuke as well..

.

Now in 1982 I drove to Edmonton Alberta and sat directly in the Albertan Minister of economic development, and Albertan Minister of Manpower, Career development, and I had asked them what they were doing specially to diversify Alberta’s economy and help to create more  jobs for Albertan.. these useless twits still did did nothing, and both lost their reelections, their workers too had  let the party caucus decide what to do and Alberta is in a real big big mess today.. home prices are dropping,, home sales are going doing, people getting laid off, and their Alberta  government revenue is going down too. They were another bunch of know it all who did not want to listen to any one else.. and such History repeats itself.
.
Now less than a hundred Canadians will die in one year due to car accidents, but thousands will die due to a hospital acquired infection? So why has not the Conservative government done too much here? they do not care about Canadian lives still? No one is immune to danger, or death, not even you, your loved ones now too. It can happen where you live.. AND IT DOES NOW TOO. It is not a pleasant site, sight, a person was alive and a few minutes later they are dead and next are being wheeled down the hall to the morgue, COVERED UP ALL IN A WHITE SHEET.. the nursing, support staff are clearly upset, the strain of helplessness gripping many of them too.. urine containers are still being left alone, allowed to be scattered on the floors in the patients rooms.. some how some of the medical personnel, support staff they  wrongfully still cannot believe that the fatal diseases are caused by poor hygiene.. after all they have been personally neglecting the hygiene aspect for a long time too..  Now about 225,000 Canadian patients a year suffer from hospital-acquired infections that substantially extend their stays, and between 8,000 and 12,000 people die annually as a result of  infection with common but dangerous infections – C. difficile, methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA) and vancomycin-resistant Enterococcus (VRE) – The infections   C. difficile, MRSA and VRE – are not airborne, but spread by contact. yet the police make a lot of noise about number of   deaths caused by speeding..  The police would be better used in Hospital it seems..
 .
Yes likely reason that roommates increase the risk of infection is that patients share a washroom. (The mantra in infection control is: One bum per toilet.) Another likely explanation involves inadequate handwashing by patients and health professionals alike; doctors and nurses sometimes don’t wash their hands between patient visits in a single room. in the meantime, there are things we can do: We should be cleaning our hands, and we should really scrutinize how we clean our hospitals.   http://www.theglobeandmail.com/life/private-hospital-rooms-lower-risk-of-c-difficile/article1420448/
.
Now what are you all now really doing about many people dying in all Hospitals unnecessarily these days too? Actions speak louder over mere words
.

ALBERTA THAT  HAS A NATIONWIDE REPUTATION FOR DESPISING OTHERS.. WILL ONLY LEARN THE HARD WAY THAT IT NEEDS THE SUPPORT OF OTHERS. https://thenonconformer.wordpress.com/2009/09/25/the-alberta-way/

.

Government of Alberta deliberately indifferent towards others.  I was horrified to find out still even in 2004 that the Alberta Government takes a very unChristian approach towards other persons. The Alberta Government, it’s Premier, Minister, Members of the legislature do take an active, deliberate approach of not replying to any letters from a person, not living in Alberta and some in the government they have  even clearly told me that they do not have any responsibilities towards helping persons not born in Alberta.

.

No one can deny my personal witness and experience now as well.

.

There are plenty of places to try to save money but starting with the expense of the poor people is not one way,  The Civil and public servants can back on their first class travel, traveling abroad, free lunches for themselves and their friends  their long breaks while they do their own business at the tax payer’s expenses as well for a start, Abuse the poor people and  you will see God cause your finances to dry up in other areas. It has often happened in Alberta and in Ontario now as well who were  also known for their false mistreatment, despising of the poor persons.  Cut back on the programs to the rich as well now firstly. It never surprises me anymore when the superiors, Managers even  at City hall as well can also still  find money for new furniture, more staff, larger personal expense accounts but not the money to help the poor people during the good and bad times now too.

Making all of the poor people, social welfare recipients, those who can afford it the least, to pay for the sins of others is an immoral and  criminal act still.

.

Furthermore here are thee, 3 things I know for sure in Canada the last 35 years

– It is not the poor people who have  mismanaged the majority of the tax payer’s money… but they do pay for it the most, those who can afford it the least

– if the public and civil servants had better managed the tax payer’s money there still would not  have been likely more money for the poor people cause the rich people would still try to steal it for themselves. I have met even covetous, greedy middle class and rich persons now too.

Thirdly  if all persons paid their taxes, and did not commit tax evasions, an ongoing major unacceptable sin that still do needs to be prosecuted there would be plenty of money for the poor people  assuming it could get to them without being stolen, intercepted again.

.

I can also add that if the civil and public servant managers and their subordinates would stop their white collared crimes, would stealing. stealing even computers, software, supplies from their workplace there would be more money for the poor people, the social welfare  recipient’s. What only about 20 percent of the people do steal form their work place? I heard firsthand one secretary boast to me that she used her work business charge card for office supplies to buy personal items for her home use and she did not consider that wrong now as well. A vice president of CN Railway used to steal his snow shovels from his work place by having one of the shop foreman’s in the yard donate it to him. Now really don’t tell me that is rare.. Executives, Accounting Purchasing and Engineering managers home computers and software, disks, etc., often come from their office ( TransAlta now included) .. and how many social welfare recipients have been equally supplied with Home computers. NONE!

.

How many of the civil and public servants, RCMP officer included now, in the last year have been rightfully arrested for stealing and.or abusing tax payer’s money? Now please don’t tell me they don’t do things like that.   And what about the elected politician who uses the staff and resources not to help his constituent members but even to solicit funds from individuals and corporations, for his reelection campaign, at the tax payer’s;  wrong expense.

.

The third thing I would do was I would follow the budget money, I would really find out exactly how much was designated and where all of the budget money goes. To see how much of it actually, directly goes to help the social welfare recipients. You see I too have learned long time ago that even city hall itself, and many others do similar things, they do charge items to the budget, that do not belong there, they even do transfer the budget money elsewhere. Yes at city hall as well. And that should be a criminal act prosecuted by law. I mean that as well rightfully.

Anyone who tells me that all of the Governments and their resources, personnel are always or generally effectively managed  are part of the ostrich liars I seem too often to encounter, and I do not put up with the liars quietly anymore.   So I find it ridiculous that the very still confused, Conservative, Alliance, Reform party would be stupidly trying to tell the rest of Canada how the country should be run,.. when their own backyard still stinks the most to me. Everything generally was poorly managed in Calgary, Hospitals, Schools, University, Police, Personnel, industries, Civil and Public servants especially too but one thing for sure the “easterners” falsely firstly got bashed because clearly the gutless Albertans were to hypocritical to admit to, to deal with their own sins.  and major shortcomings, false pride too. The supposedly good managers of Calgary city Hall often have wrongfully had to have the government of Alberta bail them out financially as well.   Make no mistake about it God clearly distinguishes between the good and  the bad persons here on earth even by their own  personal acts   They the Ministers of Alberta today are the unacceptable Pharisees who do walk across the street when the see a poor wounded stranger, person lying on the street. Today yet the Albertans would run to the US and even beg now  asking for help to sell their beef and ask for more financial investors into the province of Alberta . Do they deserve any of it? not really!   Things really have not change for the better even the last 20 years in Albert but they seem to be  even socially,  morally  bad as I have known them personally to be there still. That is how I see it. This behavior of theirs in Alberta  is still really unacceptable. They now do not deserve to get away with it.

.

IT IS UNDERSTANDABLE THAT THE BAD GUYS DO NOT LIKE THE TABLE TURNED AGAINST THEM.. TO BAD FOR THEM..   (Mat 7:3 KJV)  And why beholdest thou the mote that is in thy brother’s eye, but considerest not the beam that is in thine own eye? 4  Or how wilt thou say to thy brother, Let me pull out the mote out of thine eye; and, behold, a beam is in thine own eye? 5  Thou hypocrite, first cast out the beam out of thine own eye; and then shalt thou see clearly to cast out the mote out of thy brother’s eye.   I myself am rightfully not impressed by mere political words by anyone, real actions to me always speak louder than words firstly.

.

And I also still do know firsthand that citizens, that consumers get wrongfully abused still and too often by even price gouging. poorly managed corporations, civil and public servants in Canada now as well.   This all reminds me of that past crooked MLA of mine, a lawyer who was stupid enough to thinks she could abuse me and become a Premier of Alberta next too.. or of my past too ambitious MP Jim Hawkes who got a heart attack instead.. or my other MP’s they did not make it to the higher level and nor did that very crooked Church elder Harvey from the ex Calgary Christian Center who ran to be a PC MLA in Silver springs and lost his money.. not before  the news media got my account of what he was really like, nor did his church now even get away with their wrong doings, and nor did the bad pastor of South Calgary Community Church Dr. Frank Berg who resigned to become a insurance salesman after I had openly exposed him for  wrongly counseling divorce. These items have often been for years read now on the world wide net too now, and  all of Canada’s Major news editors got copies of it too.  Yes the pen is mightier than the sword still.

.

The Ontario Progressive Conservative past leadership platform included the lie that they were a “family oriented government”, a lie that Mike Harris and Ernie Eves themselves visibly lied about when they too personally lived a sex hog life in reality with  divorcees, unwed persons…. Ex Premier Ontario Ernie Eves also had said  that Marriage was a solely a permanent relation between a man and a woman, and that Ontario  was a good place to raise your family, but in reality it seems that in Ontario next the perverse lawyers and perverse, hypocritical  politicians will next also help to break it up as we can clearly see by their own inaction, poor actions and from how they live their lives and marriages too. It should be by now very clear to all  that the past Ontario PC Premiers were immoral Sex Hogs that did  not value the traditional concept of marriage and by this they have set a very poor examples for others and they next should not be allowed to return to a major political office! Furthermore it does not at all mean that I have to or I will accept, put up with such behavior or them even allowing me to be abused now as well.

.

I never get over the  the shock of the Police in Canada coming to my home cause some politician or even a policeman had objected to what I had written about them.. never. It has only happened to me at least 5 times in Canada. I always have rightfully perceived it all as  obstruction of justice, a false attempt to deny my own right of free speech. Did you yet still figure out why the now ex Premier of Ontario Ernie Ewes had wrongfully sent the police to my home, what truths he did not want me sharing in my first letter to him now with any others? or for that matter ex mayor Al Duerr now as well? For the record the major  news editor and all of the major cabinet ministers have gotten a copy of all of my concerns., and I rightfully have even posted my issues in detail on the Internet too.  Now about the Calgary police who at the politicians instructions keep a file on me as well.. that is an immoral act still.

.

Self regulation of all organizations, personnel tends to be mostly still just immoral masturbation.. lawyers, pastors, doctors and nurses included. Public exposure and real prosecutions of the really guilty persons does work better.   I keep on sending my nasty letters to my still mostly bad employees but they wrongfully still do their own thing.. I even have helped to fire many of them, there has to be better approach to get them rightfully motivated, working really for the taxpayers, not mostly themselves and charging it wrongfully still to us.  The ongoing lessons of life even in Canada will be and are these: One cannot abuse others and get away with it forever. Laws, government institutions now are made for the good of all persons  too. Also if all of the evil persons, politicians included, are not also punished, made to face negative personal consequences themselves they really will not next stop their wrong doings.   Mind you there are some good politicians too.. I was real shocked when an MP Dr. L Kinder asked to personally to meet me, the independent Calgary NE MP kicked out of the Progressive Conservative party, and I was even more shocked to see firsthand  that he had a full staff actually working on behalf of the concerns of the citizens in his riding. This was unlike the many fderal Progressive Conservative Calgary MPs , their staff, and their riding offices I had been too. Yes all the same  ones who lost unexpectedly under Brian Mulroney next lost  the federal elections to the Liberals or the Reform party.   That is why I still do rightfully ask the whole matter be reviewed still and properly dealt with even   Taken from http://mywebpage.netscape.com/InfoNw4/alberta.html

.

(Eph 4:28 KJV)  Let him that stole steal no more: but rather let him labour, working with his hands the thing which is good, that he may have to give to him that needeth. (1 Cor 11:31 KJV)  For if we would judge ourselves, we should not be judged.

.

If we were honest we can admit that one of the main reasons for the recession in the US was a corrupted business and management practice. If we want to be sure that this type of recessions does not  repeat itself again and again we need to learn how to deal with it.. Ineffective employees and the related wasteful employee costs is one of the biggest reason for any firms economic loses, recessions in the private or public, governmental  sectors now too

.

There is always a positive management style and a very negative management style too.  Putting more money into pails full of holes still is a very unacceptable negative management style. I  too have worked with the Municipalities as a projects engineer, with engineering fabrication and construction firms now as well, thus I am firsthand familiar with crooked contractors, inadequate city hall inspectors, inadequate city hall managers and inadequate workers,  firsthand too.. Everyone wants more money but fine what about the proper fiscal management of it firstly that is still too often needed in reality.. in the city of Calgary, or in  the city of Montreal as well.. no I do not trust the Aldermen and rightfully as well to even properly manage it. Nor can we even clearly trust the RCMP to do this.. sad isn’t it..

.

You also do know firstly Garbage in, means garbage out, applies to the personnel now hired for any job now Alberta or Canada wide, even at the taxpayer’s costs, expense. Now if you hired a bad person, especially your bad friends now,  for the job,  you will get bad results.. one’s covering it up now  makes matters worse as next is often the case still too everywhere in private corporations, enterprises, medical care systems, civil and public services too. .   Now putting more of the taxpayers money into the  Police, RCMP, Municipalities, or even into the overall Medical care system, building new Hospital too often still does not deal with this real need, problem of having adequate medical personnel management, or the clearly bad existing medical managers that have been hired or the public representatives elected. Just look at the Alberta Heatherington affair. “Heatherington story sparked doubts, court told It began with a friendly, anonymous after-hours call to Dar Heatherington’s aldermanic office but soon escalated into sexually explicit letters to her home that prompted police to fear her entire family was in danger. But that concern quickly turned into cynicism and then eventually into a criminal charge after police surveillance video of Heatherington’s home turned up nothing and the alderwoman was seen at the library poring over books on stalking. .

.

Most persons rightfully still have the lowest opinion of municipal politicians. civil and public servants  even compared to the federal or provincial ones. Now any one who has dealt with civil and public servants like I  have,  would certainly note that the least cost effective employees are the Municipal workers.. a significant savings of tax payers money can be made here by their better management.    Now I have been myself a close personal friend with a prominent manager at the city of Calgary, who lied on his resume to get the job too, he showed me the various different types of lying resumes he had prepared.   I had   become personal friends with two managers at the Calgary City hall, persons who even boasted wrongfully to me that they had used their positions at city hall to travel abroad and visit their relatives, even England and India. I too often saw firsthand how really ineffective he and his subordinates were too, even how they had often directly abused tax payers moneys, even by taking unnecessary trips at tax payer’s expenses outside of the country.  They would have never got away with it in the private sector.I personally witnessed one of them stealing office supplies at the city hall, by placing them into an envelope one weekend and next openly walking past the City Hall security guards with them.. he a by law enforcement lawyer too also charged to the city Hall the high quality VCR tapes he had purchased elsewhere that he used to tape his own favorite TV programs, claiming he was suing these tapes for seminars to native by law enforcement police officers. I was there when he bought them and in his home as well when he used them for that purpose too. Did I also tell you about my experiences with the clearly inadequate, pretentious Calgary city hall Building inspectors now as well and how a poorly designed chimney, gas exhausts caused flue gas to enter back into my Dalhousie apartment building.

.

No one is doing a friend a favour by lying, covering-up for him.. open rebuke is better than secret love for them too… those whom I love I chasten and rebuke too.. but there are still too many ostriches even in the churches.. one church in Calgary next took 5 years to see the pastor’s unacceptable sins that I saw in the first month, before they next had did what I would have done immediately too.. they fired him! A church Pastor in Calgary had asked me for donations cause he had wanted a get bus to transport Spanish speaking persons to his evangelical church. I was able to have a maxi wagon donated to the church thus. The pastor next had requested of me a loan to fix the bus’s transmission, the pastor had wrongfully converted the bus to a vacation camper for his family usage and the transmission had broken on the first weekend he used it. The pretentious and very inadequate Pastor of Calgary Christian Centre Dave Lagore had asked some members and adherents to collect money door to door in Calgary to keep a teen halfway house Open. The same pastor next had openly admitted he had no intention even of doing so. After the team had acquired 15,500 dollars the pastor closed the center, and transferred the funds to his own account, to even help pay the significant debit he has incurred. Unacceptable the same teen halfway center, along with a regular bus load of street people were being used to do the weekly church maintenance even freely.

.

The Laws, government institutions now are now made for the good of all persons  too. Also if all of the evil persons anywhere, politicians included, are not also punished, made to face real appropriate personal negative personal consequences themselves they really will not next stop their wrong doings in reality.  lawyers, pastors, doctors and nurses included. Self regulation of any and all organizations, personnel tends to be mostly still just immoral masturbation. Real Public exposure and real prosecutions of the really guilty persons does work better. Now even if few subordinate now still like it  all good bad bad people need to be effectively, continually supervised, managed, and not left totally on their own, and that includes now pastors, cops, politicians, doctors, nurses, professionals, etc., for self regulation is merely another world for me for masturbation.. not effective management There’s no question these prosecutorial, supervisory  aspects, facts can be disruptive to the personal life, values of some of the negative participants, but I think even you have to live with the consequences of your own poor decisions, choices. Existing Laws, regulations now still need still  to be drastically enforced daily, continual , effectively for in real life there are always immoral persons who do not respect the laws otherwise. Justice Ministers too now as well to change and they do need to treat everyone failure, honestly, equally, and start to prosecute all of the   types of criminals, professional or unprofessional persons too, white collared and blue collared criminals, rich or poor persons now as well for their unacceptable wrong doings in reality. Furthermore exemplary punishing the bad guys even next by firing them, starting with the top managers works best, as we saw partially being done with Bell, BCE, Sympatico after their recent takeover now too.. Even the Canadian Pentecostal evangelist  was eventually fired now too. Rev Todd Bentley was fired but not before as once again even the too often false and typical cover  ups firstly undertaken.. Exemplary Public exposure and prosecution of the guilty persons in all areas now too  really does serves everyone’s best deterrent

.

Now I have been complaining  giving a lot of thought as to why so many professionals, professional bodies, police, civil and public servants  are inadequate in Canada for decades now too and why we have not seen much improvement in this area now too. Ever since i graduated from university and became a professional, I too had observed the undeniable fact now too which included my need to supervise my own subordinates. I have Cleary note that even amongst the professionals, up to 25 percent of the employees are dishonest, unethical, lazy, liars, pretentious and the fact they do need continual real daily supervision now as well..   When I had a full time Job as a mechanical design engineer, projects engineer I was too busy working to note what was really happening in the  real world around me, especially in Canada. It was in the 1980’s next when some crooked, bad cops, bad pastors, bad lawyers, started to meddle into my personal affairs, even into my own marriage that I started to take a real interest in their poor acts and into their mostly masturbating, poorly self regulating societies, control boards. . for by then I could not help but notice how bad the judges were even in Canadian provincial courts, family courts, even as to how really bad the Police really were, the RCMP included, how bad especially the federal and provincial  justice Ministers were.

.
Now   as if you all did not know that already that the Local and the national police cannot be respected to do a decent inquiry into the alleged wrong doings of any police officers, cause we can seem all to know that the accused police do not hesitate to lie, to cover-up the reality… now self regulation  of the police force, is just useless self masturbation always it seems, thus we need independent  reviews of all police complaints for all of the police forces too in Canada, with real negative consequences on the guilty persons now too and it is  as simple as that   The truth, real acts, real facts speak louder than the too often, false, cheap words now too still. Police unions, Police Public relationships departments now too  would have us all believe that the police is supposedly now aggressively tackling crime, criminals, injustice in Canada. Even a according to the RCMP Public relationship propaganda department too,  because if they the RCMP now did not write a report about it,  it all now still would not be obvious to most people who wonder what the cops are even doing now most of the time, besides giving out money generating traffic traffic tickets,  the report does not  indicate the number of  bad people actually successfully prosecuted each year for the millions of dollars already spend on the related police man-hours now too? nor  does the same RCMP report indicate the cost of the useless police enforcement per year in comparison now to the actual successful prosecutions?   The police Canada wide now also would like you to believe that less people are getting caught for drunk driving now as well,  even though the number of people getting drunk, becoming impaired is increasing each year too, but the accuracy of the police report now itself depends on whether the police do even bother to try to catch  the drunk drivers  or where they still  they are too busy writing the traffic tickets for speeding. even though speeding still is not a major cause of car accidents to start of with too.  Calling the police can too often be a waste of time cause they the police too often still are even falsely selective as to the type of work next that they are willing to undertake    and they might  next ask you to freely   help to  do their own paid Jobs, and yes  the same that they are being paid for !

,

I have also now in writing clearly now even since 911 said the RCMP should be  firstly disbanded and replaced with a new national, competent police force for the RCMP is a Mickey mouse force composed of much too many rotten bad apples in there.. the RCMP supervisors and the RCMP Public Complaints Review board , a masturbation board rather included. Too late to still try to improve this police force, a waste of money to do so as well.  Rather you can still use the RCMP for parking tickets for which they are mostly good at. Now what about getting a real good police force and a really acceptable governments, Justice system in Canada. for all of us, me included.

.

In most of Canada too the Police Department’s disciplinary system remains “fundamentally ineffective” and should be taken over by an outside agency, I have rightfully too concluded that was true as well.   The RCMP own self regulations now had falsely, clearly failed to deal with the inadequate Vancouver airport RCMP officers The RCMP’s reputation too next faced a serious degenerating  beating at Braidwood inquiry in   2009     You’ll remember that shortly after Robert Dziekanski was Tasered and died in Vancouver International Airport, the Royal Canadian Mounted Police said it would not be returning a videotape of the incident to its rightful owner for one or two years, because it might taint witness testimony. Well, the tape has certainly had a negative effect, but what it has tainted is the reputation of the RCMP. And it, along with other evidence from the Braidwood inquiry into Dziekanski’s death, reveals that the RCMP and police forces across the country have a lot of work to do to regain the public’s trust. In fact, the tape reveals what could be construed as a practice of using Tasers first and asking questions later, and worse, it reveals that the attending officers couldn’t even trust the notes they made shortly after the incident.  Millington Tasered Dziekanski a total of five times, even after Dziekanski had fallen to the ground and after the officers had applied pressure to his back. Now it’s awfully hard to understand how the officers could still have been frightened of Dziekanski, but that’s still not the worst of it. No, the worst thing is that if the videotape didn’t exist, one would have to rely on Millington’s notes about the incident, notes that Millington was forced to repeatedly admit were wrong. In fact, confronted by videotape evidence about the number of times Dziekanski was Tasered, Millington had to confess that one would get a “distorted view” of the incident by reading his notesThis is a devastating admission because, in most cases of Tasering, the officer’s testimony is all we have to rely on. Also   now   as if you all did not know that already   the local and the national police cannot be respected to do a decent inquiry into the alleged wrong doings of most  police officers, cause we can seem all to know that the accused police and their supervisors, examining boards, really  do not hesitate to lie, to cover-up the reality… now self regulation  of the police force, is just useless self masturbation always it seems, thus we need independent  reviews of all police complaints for all of the police forces too in Canada, with real negative consequences on the guilty persons now too and it is  as simple as that.   “OTTAWA — The RCMP lost track of millions of dollars’ worth of items purchased for the G-8 summit in Alberta, a newly released report reveals. An internal review team found the Mounties were left scratching their heads about what they actually bought for the June 2002 event, how much they had, and in some cases where it was.  “We have identified several weaknesses with respect to the management and tracking of the inventory during the G-8 summit in Kananaskis,” the audit report says. ”   Tough new legislation Bill C-45, Bill C-46   may put white-collar offenders into prison or may be not? Rather we have seen a serious erosion in the federal and provincial governments concerns about consumer protection, the still  too often price gouging, price fixings,  and citizen abuse by money hungry businesses in Canada unacceptable already. Furthermore Canada’s long needed white collar crime legislation will suffer because the federal government is too cheap, too incompetent to really enforce this legislation still by allowing the existence of the Mickey mouse,  bad RCMP too.   The RCMP was, is falsely  millions of dollars money making pit catching tourists leaving Banff Park .  The RCMP Public complaints Commission in Calgary next wrongfully did very little good in regard to this my specific complaint. Do see the Canmore Alberta Queen’s court transcripts for the details now too. I am not ashamed of the whole  truth.   Did I also tell you that the poor  manager of purchasing the computers at the Montreal CBC that I met firsthand too was an ex RCMP officer himself who also had a relative working for the bad RCMP in Canmore Alberta? I got three tickets in a row from the same Traffic cop in Calgary, note in reality abusive and bad quota cop, and I next went to the Calgary’s mayor Al Duerr’s office to rightfully object, and I face to face  told the mayor’s secretary I was going also next across the street to the Calgary Police chief to complain about it too. I walked into the police office and told the secretary I want to see the chief of police and I said you “cops are crooked? A sergeant asked me to leave or he would have me arrested. I told him I was not going to leave till I talked to the Police chief so the sergeant had me arrested for talking out loud in a public place. The same sergeant that was the liaison officer at the Calgary Multicultural center, the one I as a patron member of the Calgary Multicultural center had complained to him face to face at the center to previously how racial abusive the Calgary cops were just a few months ago. When the officer had arrested me I told him I knew him and  who I was and then he recognized me and he said to the other police men present that they had made a mistake and to let me go.. I was next allowed to leave the jail by the back door into the rear lane exit but the Police charges against me wrongfully were not dropped. And if that was how they treated me how do you think they treat any others? just as bad. In court next the Police security present next testified that she new me, that this was not the first time I was complaining about bad Calgary cops. The judge admitted that my right of free speech was being clearly violated but I was still guilty and I was fined $250.00 which I paid under duress. You can see this for yourself in the Calgary Court records if they have not hid it or lost it again..

.

The RCMP commercial crime division, as well that of the local  police commercial crime division tend  do not care to worry about white collared business crimes, they do rather sympathize with it, they even told me so,  in my own real experiences, dealings with them too.

.

I have rightfully no respect for the RCMP commercial crime Division from my own real personal experiences. A few years ago while I was living in Calgary my own relatives  participated in unfair and restrictive computer sales  trade practices with the Montreal west CBC purchasing department including my relative  giving a loan of $7,500 to the CBC purchasing manager personnel. You can explain to me how my realtive was able to sell hundreds of thousands dollars annually of computers to the CBC from the basement of his home otherwise. My relative told me about it and   I saw the cheque myself that was cashed in the bank by the CBC personnel and I reported it face to face to the RCMP  commercial crime division in Westmount Quebec  and they did nothing about it. So I detailed it in writing to all of the federal cabinet Ministers on Ottawa. The feds they  next laid of most of the personnel about 180 of them at the CBC Montreal west. The RCMP did nothing. Yes some cities do need more money that others.. but still putting more taxpayer’s money into pails with big holes in it is ridiculous.   Hey we have loads of example of how ruthless, crooked the cops are now in Canada.. their self regulation does not work, and Canada wide now  too. None of this is acceptable. and the overall justice system, Justice Ministers are already known world wide to be really bad too.  https://thenonconformer.wordpress.com/2008/08/23/mickey-mouse-rcmp-police-canada/

.

THERE APPEAR TO BE THREE MAIN REASONS any so called professionals, the RCMP now too,  have  DEGENERATED IN EFFECTIVENESS  SO VISIBLY. THE SAME REASONS THAT WOULD BE APPLICABLE TO MOST PROFESSIONAL BODIES NOW AS WELL:
-The first is the  initial employee, managements hiring,  selection process. Police forces tend to have common criteria of personnel selections.
– The second clearly is  promotional mechanisms within  the force.. which seems too often to reward AND promote incompetency.. TO ME THIS EXPLAINS WHY POLICE CHIEFS, MANGERS TEND OFTEN NOW  TO LACK MORALITY, CREDIBILITY, ETHICS TOO.
– The third is the internal self regulating aspects

.

Here I would note also  that one of the main instigators of the professional Doctors carrying out their duties more effectively was not only the threat of discipline by their self regulating body, but the threat of an external, public  lawsuit itself.. something that is generally drastically missing in the police forces now..

.

Exemplary Public exposure and prosecution of the guilty serves very ones best interest… too often still missing in the PROFESSIONAL BODIES, EVEN IN THE RCMP, police   forces  as well it seems too.

.
Recently we have been reading, hearing about bad food, contaminated food. We were supposed to have a federal department looking after our welfare, food inspections, health matters, but we find out too often instead that it is another typical  back passing, pretentious department, that is willing to take their pay home but not willing to work for it. Now most of the problems that arise through food contamination are raised by the importers or manufacturers themselves and then a voluntary arrangement is usually made with the company to remove those goods from the marketplace and shelves. “This has not always been successful.” We need real, enforced regulations.   Immigration Minister Jason Kenney also issued a warning about immigration consultants, saying they don’t get you in faster, and if you hire one it had better be from the government’s approved list. Kenney’s political opponents say unscrupulous consultants are the real problem – and that the scams will persist until the government starts regulating that industry. For it is a fact that anything that will put a self regulating body or a Ministry into a negative light will have a built in  tendency still to be denied,   suppressed, minimized in reality, to be ineffective .  Mr. Jason  Kenney, Minister, Citizenship, Immigration and Multiculturalism, and the federal government need still to focus on this important issue of the need to  protect all of the present prospective, and past  immigrants from the serious problem of existence of the much too many existing unscrupulous, unethical  immigration agents, consultants offering their immigration services firstly is not more self regulations,   I had now complained about this in writing to all years ago even to Jason Kenney MP too and no one did anything about it then!  So what has basically changed now SINCE  THEN?  basically nothing..

,

THE POLITICIANS  ARE STILL INEFFECTIVE AND THEY DO lao STILL LIE AND SO STILL  THE CONSULTANTS  AND  THEIR GOVERNING BODIES TOO..

.

Let me say it again and again that Self regulation is an unacceptable form of masturbation  rather too often. That applies to Professionals, importer, manufacturers, corporations, the police, civil and public servants.   There in reality is the main  one important step that all governments, consumers can take to protect themselves from any unscrupulous persons  and that is enforced, exemplary public exposure and prosecution of the supposedly guilty persons by a recognized judicial public body,  and so now how many such bad persons now have really been exposed, prosecuted in the last few years in reality too by the responsible Ministers as well?  None? and why not?

.
My writing letters firstly directly to them did not help at all they were too crooked to worry about my letters. So I started to write to the truth to all who would listen, to news editors too, to Ministers, premiers, politicians, what my real and unacceptable experiences were with them starting with the bad cops, bad evangelical pastors, bad judges, bad lawyers, bad law society  too in Calgary Alberta.. and the bad politicians  in Ottawa too, but I did write to many persons, I do  not end there. The Exemplary Public exposure and prosecution of the unrepentant  guilty persons serves everyone’s best interest

.
So still now  what really is needed  firstly is not more CHEAP, PRETENTIOUS  self regulations,   the supposed discipline of their members , or even their ensuring their education, but real INSPECTIONS, EFFECTIVENESS , competency testing.

.

Exemplary Public exposure and prosecution of the guilty serves very ones best interest… too often still missing in the PROFESSIONAL BODIES, EVEN IN THE RCMP, police   forces, churches, ALL GOVERNMENTS  as well it seems too.

.
You already should know that  I have not let one Prime Minister, not even one Justice Minister, One federal Minister  off the hook in these matters but I have continued rightfully to pursue these matters in full before all. So what has changed ? Nothing, yet so I continue to purse the matters before all too.   Free speech in Canada sadly is still  mainly to those persons in power, the elected politicians and the police in reality,  and not for Joe Somebody.    “Toronto MP John Godfrey, who is parliamentary secretary for cities issues, said making existing infrastructure funds available to municipalities more rapidly is an attractive option.” I have considered myself an honest, intelligent persons, an activist in politics as well but I could never understand the need of the ex federal Prime Minister Jean Chretien to buy votes by giving more access to federal tax dollars money to the Municipal Governments. I really firstly had major doubts that any of this money actually translates next to votes.. and even about how properly it would be spent too. Now we know that Millions of dollars of this designated tax payer’s money has been even abused, still needs to be adequately accounted for. Even also the Medicare money. The only signicant group  that can likely have any effect the voters now are the news media and the pastors, and priests in fact. That is why I also do not hesitate to write to them as well.

.

“(Baird) made all the decisions about which projects should get funded, so … he can’t just foist them on municipalities and provinces and not take responsibility for ensuring money is well spent.”

.

UNDER THE LIBERALS WHEN THE TAXPAYER MONIES WAS ABUSED THE CONSERVATIVES READILY HAD HELD THE LIBERALS SOLELY RESPONSIBLE  AND HAD BEEN ELECTED ON CONSERVATIVE RESPONSIBILITY, ACCOUNTABILITY BUT NOW THE SHOE IS ON THE OTHER FOOT THE CONSERVATIVES FALSELY WHISTLE ANOTHER TUNE..

.

How he does it will show how sincere he is in doing it now too. https://thenonconformer.wordpress.com/2009/07/29/john-bairds-manure-pile/

In the last 10 years, crime rates have fallen roughly 27 per cent but costs have risen 44 per cent in policing and 33 per cent in corrections. Our prisoner population has managed to stay constant.  Is that a paradox? Or is that because those in the system are smart enough to ensure they all keep working and our prisons remain full, even though there are far fewer crimes. Also the report notes “the most embarrassing lacunae in Canadian data” is the lack of useful information on our courts — “we have no systemic way of assessing whether the courts are getting more or less effective in dealing with the cases that they see, let alone understanding how much as a society we are paying. For a developed nation, this is disappointing to say the least … How bad is it?”  It’s appalling — even mischief cases take more than half a year on average to process.  First Nations represent about four per cent of the population but more and more of them are being imprisoned — from 13 per cent of the offenders in custody in 1998 to 20 per cent a decade later. In Saskatchewan, 80 per cent of inmates are native. In Manitoba it’s 70 per cent, in (Racists) Alberta 40 per cent.In those three provinces, aboriginal people also are least likely to be given probation or conditional sentences. That is a major scandal that demands investigation..  http://www.vancouversun.com/Mulgrew+Cost+crime+rises+crime+rate+falls/10296393/story.html

I was really saddened to note

art (13)

Almost since my first job after graduating from university I had learned that people are not to be trusted, need to be supervised, and corruption still exists in construction, universities, municipalities, governments, corporations, amongst professionals and politicians as well.

Here still  is what I cannot understand about the federal job creation programs carried out under both the liberal and conservative governments, is the necessity it seems to give money firstly to the municipalities, as though they have a direct effect on voters.. Nothing can be farther from the truth for  neither the police themselves, nor the municipalities have a significant vote as to how the citizens will vote on election days. The only group  that can likely have any effect on the voters are the news media, pastors, and priests in fact.

Now as I was reflecting about my many past posts on the net  in the last few years I was really saddened to note that too many of them were about bad , greedy people trying to steal , trying to get other people’s money for themselves, stealing the money, or getting  it under false pretences. The love of more money is still the basis of what many of the wrong doings is, was all about..(Eccl 8:11 KJV)  Because sentence against an evil work is not executed speedily, therefore the heart of the sons of men is fully set in them to do evil.

MONTREAL – The alleged victims of Montreal financial adviser Earl Jones plan to rally in the city today to demand stiffer penalties for white collar crimes.

Here is the basic Problem I still do have with too many of the elected politicians, besides the fact they tend to lie like   so many of the rest of us, also do commit  tax evasions, steal as well, the main problem is that they do not tend to do the job they were hired for, rather they take their offices and positions, resources and use it for something else, like instead of looking after all of the citizens good welfare they are working hard instead trying to build up the Conservative political party instead… undeniably using their constituent office now falsely for that as well. And don’t any lie to me and say that our PM Stephen Harper is different now as well. Now if I hired gardener to cut the grass and he cut the neighbor’s grass instead I would have rightfully fired him immediately and that is now what we should do with  any of the politicians who abuse our resources, clearly do fail to do their jobs.

“After three-plus years in power, Stephen Harper’s party is more proficient at politics than policy. Whether waiting patiently for a majority to impose core beliefs or accepting compromise as the price of power, the result is the same. Decisions that change the country for better or worse are influenced more by the search for partisan advantage than the public good… Prime Minister is rushing public billions to the rescue of the multinational auto giants while making it easy for foreigners to buy what’s left of Canadian icon Nortel…a foreign firm, with $300 million in help from Export Development Corp., is allowed to own Nortel’s most valuable wireless assets.    ”  James Travers  http://www.thestar.com/news/canada/article/672694

Canada economy may be on the mend very shortly according to the too often lying spin doctors, but in reality, in fact it will not be so in the province of  Alberta, Manitoba, Saskatchewan, British Columbia, New Brunswick,  Nova Scotia  or in Ontario?  for even many reasons.. firstly the price of oil and gas  is not rising significantly nor is it predicted to raise much in the near future, but the price of the gas pumps will always rise though due to greedy firms.. Next the problem of the border crossing and US protectionism policies seriously has negatively affected Canada’s trade and this is not about to go away, plus Canada’s rising dollar value will not help matters.

The federal Conservatives should need no lessons on the dangers of pouring public money into local festivals and parades, given that their 2006 election victory resulted to a significant degree from public disgust at the Liberal sponsorship scandal. But Stephen Harper’s government chose to ignore that example and, as a result, finds itself caught once again in a political bind of its own making.  The recurring nature of this brand of teapot tempest should be enough to make our government rethink the very idea of event subsidies. A fundamental failing of such government giveaways is that political gains from recipients are almost always outweighed by the resentment of those who are refused. No matter how big the budget, there will never be enough money to satisfy all the demands, and any group left off the gravy train will interpret it as evidence of political bias rather than the pressures of a limited budget.  By trying to buy popularity in Ontario and Quebec, Mr. Harper has slighted the rest of the country and fuelled the usual charges of favouritism. He has offended supporters of Ms. Ablonczy, and provided ammunition to critics who view every action of his government through a political lens. Does this sound like a good use of a taxpayer-funded slush fund aimed at pumping up national morale and civic engagement?  http://network.nationalpost.com/np/blogs/fullcomment/archive/2009/07/24/national-post-editorial-board-a-government-that-refuses-to-learn.aspx

Catholics, REAL Women of Canada, Evangelical Fellowship of Canada (EFC) are key supporters of Stephen Harper and his Conservative Government and why? Besides expecting governmental grants?

REAL Women of Canada (Realistic, Equal, Active, for Life) is a non-partisan, non-denominational organization of independant women which was federally incorporated in 1983. ” We come from all walks of life, occupations, social and economic backgrounds. Some members work full or part time outside the home, while some mainly work in the home. We represent a broad spectrum of Canadian women who, until our formation, did not have a public forum in which to express their views.”

“Evangelical Fellowship of Canada (EFC). A national church agency founded in 1964 to foster co-operation among evangelical Christian denominations and individuals. With headquarters in Markham, Ontario, and an office in Ottawa, this group includes affiliate denominations, ministry organizations, post-secondary educational institutions and individual congregations. The largest affiliate church denomination is the Pentecostal Assemblies of Canada. Others include the SALVATION ARMY, the Mennonite Brethren Church, Canadian Baptist Ministries, Christian Reformed Church, Christian and Missionary Alliance, and the Fellowship of Evangelical Baptist Churches.  Bruce J. Clemenger took up the position of president of The Evangelical Fellowship of Canada on June 1, 2003. He has served with EFC since 1992. In 1996 he established the EFC’s Ottawa office and became the founding director of the EFC’s Centre for Faith and Public Life. He has served on the board of the Salvation Army Ethics Centre in Winnipeg, as an adjunct faculty member of Tyndale University College and Seminary in Toronto, and at Trinity Western University in Langley, B.C.”

SADLY anyone who thinks OUR Stephen Harper and his Conservatives are any kind of Christians was or  is blind.. FROM DAY ONE, in fact this party is becoming more non Christian everyday..  now all the money, energy supporting this party has certainly gone done the drain.. I would have thought all you guys and  gals were a lot smarter than that too.

“Like many Conservative party supporters, I have been contributing to the Harper political party for a number of years.  However, with the recent revelation that our government has been granting large sums of taxpayers’ money to fund indecent expositions like “pride” parades across the country, I will no longer send donations to this political party.  Such misuse of taxes shows a serious lack of leadership or a deliberate statement of policy by our prime minister and his associates.  Indeed, promoting such parades “for tourism” confirms for Canadians that there’s little difference between a PC government and what would happen under a Liberal or NDP regime. Mark B. Toth”  http://www.bclocalnews.com/opinion/letters/51057607.html  First he  Stephen Harper offends evangelicals by giving out alcoholic drinks.. next he supports the gays.. and next he endorses the catholic pope of all things.. he is losing more and more evangelical supporters every day it seems..

By the way I am no fan of the Salvation  Army in Canada they are too crooked for my liking in Canada, they tend to be hirelings and not real Christians..

I AM NOT A RACIST  AND  I HAVE DEALT WITH HUNDREDS OF REFUGEES AND THE CROOKED ONES HAD TOLD ME YEARS AGO THAT ONE WAY TO GET INTO CANADA IS TO PAY BRIBES TO THE IMMIGRATION OFFICIALS IN MEXICO.. MAYBE THEY SHOULD DEAL WITH THE CROOKED OFFICIALS NOW AND THE MUCH TOO MANY CROOKED IMMIGRATION CONSULTANTS WE SEEM TO HAVE IN CANADA NOW TOO INSTEAD..

Telling lies, half truths is too  too difficult, for you have to remember the lies you had said, and the truth as well, and most people cannot do that , thus they rather do as a result go crazy.. So Me I do not write to please men or women, to be politically correct, and I prefer the truth to deal with, write the simple truths, I also do readily share the good things I have learned freely.

crime down in Canada – report

  00TRUST

While crime is down in Canada police report – at a loss to explain why western Canadian cities have ranked highest …

Careful lying spin doctors at work..  road rage, DRUGS AND ALCOHOL ABUSE ARE RISING STILL, SO SHOULD THE RELATED CRIMES IN FACT..

…for the most part Calgarians are safe but not all… Calgary’s violent crime severity index score was lower than Winnipeg (162.5), Edmonton (131.4), Vancouver (125.0), Montreal (106.0)and Toronto (95.8). The only western Canadian city with a lower rate than Calgary was Victoria at 79.6.Regina had a score of 169.9 while Saskatoon sat at 164.8.  John Turner, chief of the policing services program for Statistics Canada, said the nationwide survey found crime is decreasing across the country. He is at a loss to explain why western Canadian cities have ranked highest in the country for some time.” People have been asking that question for years; it seems it has always been that way,” said Turner. Brookwell attributes it to western prosperity. “That tends to draw the attention of illegal activity, organized crime, that go to where the money is or where there is more disposable income,” he said.http://www.calgaryherald.com/news/Violent+crime+falls+Calgary/1815312/story.html

“or where there is more disposable income” this is the biggest pile of manure, crap I have read in a long time… DON’T EVEN THINK FALSELY FOR ONE SECOND that the provincial and municipal  Governments in Alberta have not lied often about the true state   of Alberta’s economy.

  00cops (3)

and what too ignorant or fearful to admit that also  the cost of living is higher in the western cities, the rate of divorce is higher, more eastern  rejects do go west, and people in the western cities have tended  leave their relatives, families, morality in other places, the west do have MORE INCOMPETENT COPS TOO.. RCMP included now..

I guess many of you have not had any real experiences with dealing with liars, or the incompetent, pretentious  too often police in Canada because in daily reality and often the police as well now  do  lie on their reports, even in regards to   the actual number of criminal complaints, as witnesses , or in the cause of vehicular accidents.. and we all should by now know the RCMP lie.. the actual number of unsolved criminal cases would be a lot higher if the police actually investigated all the citizen report they do receive. I have sat in police stations and watched the police lie and refuse complaints brought to them by the other citizens too… never mind those phoned in.

I think only one of over 5 criminal  complaints about the criminal abuse of me or others was ever reviewed with even, and even that one took months of complaining to the police.. and that was the charge of physical assault of me by  a rogue Pentecostal pastor who punched me , in front of a witness, cause I had refused to go to his church.

I also had reported to the police that two middle age men had tried to break into my house, in the front door in the afternoon when I was at home, and the detective’s conclusion was this was likely a drug deal gone bad and I owed them money.. me a preacher, an abstainer now as well.. how absurd and ridiculous

Now I have had the police false reject, with false reasons my other complaints.. such it is not in their jurisdiction, or I did not have enough proof, and they would not go looking for it.. or whatever!

and we all do know or should by know that spouses in court,  lawyers, police, and statistic Canada lies, and so do samplers and their polls.. statistic Canada  also never shows the true state of the unemployment or the inflation rate too.. for lie is a daily ongoing fact of life by many in Canada… which leads to lying news reporters too.,, and many Canadians have many complaints now about that too.

“OTTAWA – Most Canadians support the idea of Internet traffic management as long as all users are treated fairly, a new poll suggests.”

Meaning that Most Canadians would support the ISP, internet service providers breaking their promises, contracts as long as they do the same thing to everyone else… wow, that is a complete absurdity.. get real… and if that is how THEY all now conduct their  dishonest polls then no wonder so many people think THEY are con men, liars  rather.. In reality even here unless you know and fully understand firstly the exact questions being asked. The Poll wording itself can very much influence the outcome, example do you still beat your wife, yes or no? This even falsely implies everyone bats their wife. That’s a crude example, but it makes the point. ” What “60% of Canadians” think is completely immaterial, about as significant as what I think about the arrangements of the airbags in a Rolls Royce. What counts is, what the paying customers think of cartel like arrangements by the providers of having their services “throttled”.” Will give you a very different Poll answer.. Amazing how many non technical Canadian news reporters skirt the truth and distort it here too.  And the American public is likely similarly confused on the topic. Valid Education on the issue is a problem.  Over 54 percent of Canadians had  said that they did not understand the topic and how the issue affected their use.  Only 15 percent said that they understood that were affected (or would be affected) by such actions. 22 percent voiced strong opposition, saying such practices were wrong regardless and if you mention internet throttling on a P2P forum that is generally composed of more technically minded computer nerds and you’ll instantly evoke  strong emotion opposition. The Survey  shows public’s overall ignorance of the effects of traffic management on their connections for the majority of average Joe or Jane in the public, the issue is poorly understood and falsely not a worry at all.

AND WHAT DID BELL, Rogers AND THE OTHER BIG CORPORATE INTERNET GIANTS  PAY THEM  ALL TO LIE  HERE TOO?

NOTE: This really is a hypocritical and dishonest poll firstly  again.. for the basic truth, reality is that most Canadians firstly still do not EVEN yet know for sure if they are actuality getting their promised internet upload and downloads speeds FROM THEIR ISP..  even because they still  firstly do not even  know how to measure the speed.. so  now their polled opinion realtedly does not count much when their real ignorance FACTOR IS TAKEN INTO CONSIDERATION. Here is what you all do need to first do to to check the computer’s network speed at http://www.acanac.ca/speedtest/

And after that ONLY THEN YOU CAN ASK MOST CANADIANS WHAT INTERNET SPEED THEY WERE PROMISED BY THEIR ISP COMPARED TO WHAT   THEY ARE ACTUALLY NOW REGULARLY, CONSISTENTLY   GETTING ..

THEN ONE IN A VALID POLL CAN NOW HONESTLY ASK THEM ALL IF THEY ARE SATISFIED WITH THE INTERNET TRAFFIC MANAGEMENT OF THEIR SPEEDS .. and give me, us all an honest poll. https://thenonconformer.wordpress.com/2009/07/15/i-cannot-trust-you-for-you-lie-to-me-all-the-time/

The RCMP should be out of politics, out of Cabinet, accountable to civilian oversight, and investigated by other forces, perhaps international forces arranged by treaty. Honour killings, assults

An Afghanistanian Muslim Family had  plans to murder daughters, and the first wife  months before: according to the police. The alleged murder of three sisters and a father’s first wife, was preceded apparently by an unfathomable scenario in Canada where the girls’ both parents and brother had conspired in these premeditated murders. Montreal’s Mohammad Shafia, 56, his wife, Tooba Mohammad Yahya, 39, and their eldest son, Hamed Shafia, 18, all of Montreal, are charged with four counts each of first degree murder and conspiracy to commit murder. A relative of the parent   has told the police and reporters that she believes the murders were carried out as so-called honour killings. Many Islamist  extremeists are already well known for their false violent, brutual. murderous terrorsts acts towards any so called opponnets of thier Islamic relgious views.

Most Canadians express rightful, complete outrage at the barbaric murders, “honour killings,” but some in the Muslim community react  in the most predictable fashion: distortions defensiveness and false denial saying  “This has nothing to do with Islam,” FOR the religion of Islam  does not sanction  honour killings.  It is true that Islam’s holy book, the Koran, does not sanction honour killings. But to deny the fact that many incidents of honour killings are conducted by Muslim fathers, sons and brothers, and that many victims are Muslim women, is to exercise total   dishonesty, perversoty for  it is true that the Koran does not sanction such murders, but man-made sharia law, which has been falsely imputed divine status, does allow for the killing of women if they indulge in pre-marital or extra-marital consensual sex. This is exactly  why so many professing Canadian Muslims have opposed the introduction of sharia law in Canada. There is no denying that Islam, in its contemporary expression, is obsessed with women’s sexuality, and considers it a fundamental problem. The hijab, the niqab, the burka and polygamy are all manifestations of this phobia. The mullahs and the mosque leadership may even falsely deny their role in ensuring that Muslim women are second-class citizens within the community, but the undeniable place they reserve for women in the house of God, the Mosque, reveals their actual conviction that Muslim women  are considered not as our mothers or daughters and sisters, but as sexual triggers that may ignite the male passions. Honour killings take place because many  Muslims have been convinced by their mullahs that the burden of their family’s honour and their religion is vested in the virginity of their daughters and sisters. Most mullahs do still acknowledge that according to sharia law, a woman who has consensual sex with a man outside marriage deserves to be lashed in public or stoned to death by an Islamic State or an Islamic court. Not until Muslim clerics and imams seriously abandon their false  notion about women being the possession of men will they really  begin to address the cancer of honour killings, which take more than 5,000 lives in South Asia and the Middle East alone.   At some bookstores, the title of  was : Women Who Deserve to Go to Hell. The book, which is also widely available in British libraries and mosques, lists the type of women who will face eternal damnation. Among them are:
• “The Grumbler … the woman who complains against her husband every now and then is one of Hell.”
• “The Woman Who Adorns Herself.”
• “The Woman Who Apes Men, Tattoos, Cuts Hair Short and Alters Nature.”
But they cannot have it both ways: proclaiming  women as the source of sin as well as deserving of death for consensual sex, and then try to claim the men who do carry out the death sentence are acting against Islamic law. http://www.nationalpost.com/most-popular/story.html?id=1826529

In general in the more  liberal society of Canada both the wife and the children tend to have much more freedom, rights, make their own decisions,  over many other countries , Such as central and eastern Europe, Russia, Asia, Africa  and as a result the culture shock after moving to Canada can be  a very real problem for some new immigrant husbands  where the husband sees his family role as being obeyed, and being the sole head of the home.   Thus  it’s not altogether uncommon for some of the new Canadian immigrant  home situations to become  unacceptably violent when the dominate husband feels his authority is being undermined.  Wife beatings as a result are common, and children who witness it are severely traumatized, can develop both bitterness and hatred. And it tends to make  the home matters worse where the husband now is also an alcoholic on top of all that.

In reality too the Cops themselves, RCMP included, now   are not the only one who resort to violence when their authority is threatened, so do some bad pastors now too..

I have already experienced in Canada  a  direct physical assault of me by  a rogue Pentecostal pastor who punched me , in front of a witness, cause I had refused to go to his church. An another Pentecostal pastor was attempting to physically abuse me to stop my public revelations of his unacceptable acts, thefts of money too. So  did another member of my family  experience physical attempt  by a Plymouth Brethren pastor.

A rogue  RCMP police officers had now also threatened  to shut me up for good because of my public revelations, exposures of their wrong doing as indicated by me  in the Canmore Canadian Court records .

NOT EVERYONE HAS A HIGH REGARD FOR THE CLERGY, POLICE, RCMP IN CANADA,   Hidden agendas, the world is full of it, many people have hidden agendas, Pastors,, Ministers, politicians, cops  too. Sadly some people they tend  present their own “facts,” but fall short in truthfulness  for they tend to falsely  have a hidden agenda, and often they want to be falsely personally worshipped and live in sin too.  Is 2:22 Cease to trust in [weak, frail, and dying] man, whose breath is in his nostrils [for so short a time]; in what sense can he be counted as having intrinsic worth?

Conservatives & Listeriosis investigator report

health_canada_map

OTTAWA – An investigator’s report into a deadly bacterial outbreak won’t be tinkered with before it’s released to the public on Tuesday, says the Prime Minister’s Office.  Sheila Weatherill, who headed a probe into the listeriosis crisis, has handed in her report to Agriculture Minister Gerry Ritz. She was expected to hold a news conference Tuesday in Ottawa to discuss her findings.  A spokesman for Prime Minister Stephen Harper said the document won’t be edited or altered in any way before it is released.  “We’re looking at the report right now and she’ll present it to the public tomorrow,” Kory Teneycke said Monday.  Liberal MP Wayne Easter, the party’s agriculture critic, demanded Weatherill’s report and all accompanying documents be made public immediately.  “We have concerns about this because of the way this government has handled this matter since Day 1,” he said in a statement.  “The report from the government’s hand-picked investigator, with a limited mandate conducted in private, is not sufficient. They have road-blocked any attempts to provide more transparency about the events of last summer.”  Weatherill denied any interference with her probe.  “I have been able to conduct my investigation independently and impartially,” she said in a statement.  “There has been no interference from any party whatsoever.”  That statement was later stricken from a revised statement issued to news media outlets.  National Public Relations, which is handling media duties for the listeriosis investigation, said the quote came from an earlier draft and nothing should be read into its removal.  “It’s true, it’s just that we took it out for brevity,” spokesman David Rodier said.  “It’s just a mistake. We sent out the wrong (statement).”  Weatherill’s report will assess how the federal government responded to the crisis in which 22 people died and hundreds more fell ill after eating contaminated deli meats linked to a Maple Leaf Foods plant in Toronto.  The report will not express findings of criminal or civil liability, but it will make recommendations on how to prevent similar outbreaks.  Weatherill and her team conducted more than 100 interviews and amassed some five million pages of information during their six-month probe.  The investigators held closed-door meetings with cabinet ministers and their top aides, senior bureaucrats, various experts, and industry and consumer groups.  Secrecy shrouded their work. Weatherill only once spoke publicly when she appeared in April before MPs on a special panel studying food safety.  Afterward, reporters had to chase her through the corridors of Parliament’s Hill’s West Block to get her to clarify that she had not yet questioned Ritz.  She has refused to grant interviews.  So far only dribs and drabs have trickled out. Michael Doyle, a Listeria expert who advised Weatherill during the investigation, said the report looks at both the outbreak itself and more generally at food safety in Canada.  “What I’ve seen, I think, is a pretty good, balanced report,” he said.  “I think it does a pretty good job of addressing the issue of the day, which is listeriosis and Maple Leaf product.”  Rick Holley, a food-safety expert at the University of Manitoba, met Weatherill this spring in her office at Ottawa’s Experimental Farm.  “I still have the impression she’s being very conscientious in exploring issues that are somewhat broader than just the specific listeriosis event,” he said.  Weatherill is delivering her report four months past the original March 15 deadline set when Harper promised an “arm’s-length” investigation on Sept. 6, a day before last year’s election was called.  Since then, a half-dozen listeriosis reports have been released.  Reports by Health Canada, the Canadian Food Inspection Agency and the Public Health Agency of Canada have suggested poor co-ordination among governments and agencies over food safety has been putting Canadians’ health at risk.  The Ontario government released its own post-mortem rapping the knuckles of federal and provincial health authorities for failing to work together during the outbreak.  A House of Commons subcommittee studying food safety couldn’t reach a consensus after hearing from dozens of witnesses this spring, so it released two dissenting reports.  Opposition MPs called for a public inquiry into the outbreak, while the smaller number of Conservative MPs on the panel made no mention of an inquiry in their report and pledged to await Weatherill’s findings.  http://ca.news.yahoo.com/s/capress/090720/national/listeriosis_report

A report into last summer’s listeriosis outbreak has found a series of problems behind the crisis that claimed 22 lives, including a poor response by the federal government.  Investigator Sheila Weatherill’s found a confluence of events contributed to what was one of Canada’s worst food-borne illness outbreaks.  Among the findings:
-Federal meat inspectors assigned to the Maple Leaf Foods plant in Toronto where the outbreak started were “stressed” over having to oversee several other meat-processing plants.
-Government officials were also slow off the mark in responding to the outbreak after it started last July.
-The team that assesses health risks within Health Canada was short-staffed over the summer, “leaving gaps in coverage during the response to the emergency.”
-The federal government was slow to communicate with the public and didn’t keep up those communications long enough.
-There wasn’t a single point person to deliver the government’s message, leading to “a fragmented approach and seemingly inconsistent message.”
The report makes 57 recommendations to help prevent another outbreak.  It says Canada’s chief public health officer should be given a greater role during outbreaks of food-borne illnesses.  Meat companies should also be required to tip the federal government to any suspected health threats. And plants that routinely test positive for bacteria or represent a higher risk should be tested more frequently than others.  The report also recommends that manufacturers design easy-to-clean meat-processing equipment that limits the spread of bacteria.  The report does not express findings of criminal or civil liability.

Meanwhile…

OTTAWA – As the Harper Conservatives spend today awarding themselves a gold star for three years of their Universal Child Care Benefit, parents across the country are still struggling to find child care spaces, let alone affordable ones, Liberal Human Resources and Skills Development Critic Mike Savage said today. “In three years, this Conservative government has done absolutely nothing to address the real problem facing Canadian families – a nationwide shortage of affordable child care spaces,” said Mr. Savage. “The Conservatives are using today, the third anniversary of this benefit, as a forum to try and mislead Canadians about the state of child care in Canada. But parents know better – they’ve living this crisis every day. They are only too aware of the Conservatives’ broken 2006 election promise of 250,000 new child care spaces.” Conservative MPs were in Quebec and Winnipeg today specifically to take part in “celebrations” of the third anniversary of the Universal Child Care Benefit. But parents across the country see little to celebrate. Federal investment in early childhood development and the percentage of children in regulated spaces is one of the lowest amongst Canada’s counterparts in the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD). As waiting lists for spaces in communities across the country continue to grow, reports have concluded that the number of new spaces created under this Conservative government has dropped significantly. “For some families this situation has become a financial nightmare,” said Mr. Savage. “Some parents are not able to go to work because spaces simply do not exist in their communities, while other families have to pay beyond their means so their children will have a place to go. “Study after study tells us that early learning and child-care programs benefit our children’s learning and development, helping them excel later on. These children are the future of our country; they deserve the best possible start. Why does Stephen Harper not want the best for Canadian children?” http://www.liberal.ca/en/newsroom/media-releases/16038_conservatives-misleading-canadians-on-the-state-of-child-care

Calls erupt for Clement’s resignation  on Industry Minister Tony Clement  misleading — and disparaging — remarks about the Nickel Capital.

The city’s mayor is livid about what he says are “intemperate” comments made by the minister and Parry Sound-   On Friday, Clement said  Inco would “not exist, it would have been closed down, it would have been liquidated if there wasn’t a buyer,” when asked if Sudbury was experiencing a net benefit from the foreign takeover of the nickel giant more than two-and-a-half years ago. “There was going to be no buyer, there were going to be no jobs, there weren’t going to be any capital investments, there was going to be no employer,” said Clement. “That was the Valley of Death that Sudbury faced.”  Clement should resign.  “It’s tremendously embarrassing. We have lost ministers for (less),”  Clement’s comments show Clement is acting in a “hostile” way to Sudbury and Northern Ontario. “I despair, as somebody who’s very interested in regional development and industrial policy … to see this evidence of ignorance” and the lack of a coherent strategy for economic development for Northern Ontario.  Sudbury is home to one of the richest mineral deposits in the world “and has a highly skilled mining workforce second to none.” Sudbury is also a “virtual think tank of innovative mining practices,”  Clement should resign. “He’s just not competent.”   Tony Sottile, a self-described “longtime Conservative supporter,” wrote a letter to The Star saying he resents Clement for bad-mouthing Sudbury “only because we have a history of not electing Conservatives to represent this city.” Sottile said Clement owes Sudbury an apology “for his blatant, derisive comments.” http://www.thesudburystar.com/ArticleDisplay.aspx?e=1665397

and who can trust the Conservatives anymore?

American news is much more interesting it seems

  palin

The political scene in Canada this summer is boring, stale in comparison. Even the  Opinion polls show the Liberals and the Conservatives stalled. The Liberals have been unable to gain a convincing lead despite the economic crisis that has been plaguing the Conservative government, and the Conservatives have never ever been  able to reach their coveted majority territory in the polls. Neither Michael Ignatieff nor Stephen Harper have surprisngly too resonated strongly with the cold, luke warm, unemotional Canadian public.

Boxer Arturo Gatti, the pride of Montreal and Atlantic City, is gone. Apparently murdered in the US after a jealous, drunken argument with his Brazilian wife, 23-year-old Amanda Rodrigues, the mother of his 10-month-old son, Arturo Jr. Is our Prime Minister Stephen Harper going to say he too is not a true  Canadian now? especially since he died outside of Canada?

Then there is the South Carolina Governor Mark Sanford who, after a complete disappearance where nobody knew his whereabouts, turned out to have been in Argentina with his mistress – something which, among other things, has seriously tarnished his credentials as a “family values” Republican, Conservative

The US Congress also has been occupied with the confirmation hearings of President Obama’s first Supreme Court nominee, Sonia Sotomayor. If confirmed (which seems likely) she would be the first Hispanic person to sit on the United States Supreme Court.

Sarah Palin still livens things up though. She is an assertive,  charismatic figure known as well as for her combative style, family, Conservative, Christian values, her “folksy” and “down to earth” charm. Her resignation as governor of Alaska, in advance of the July 4th weekend, was really now unexpected.  This resignation marks yet another chapter in the  turbulent political career. Palin has been a source of love, hate, fascination, interest  to supporters , detractors, liberals others alike. Cause firstly there are few women in politics never mind a professing Christian Pentecostal one. It is true that some of the media, personal attacks she has faced have been vicious, immoral, unfair, wrong and that in some cases they have included inappropriate jokes about her family too. Bill Clinton saw his personal life the subject of front page news and comedic punchlines over his sad Monica Lewinsky affair, and Barack Obama now also had faced much hardship over his association with controversial preacher Jeremiah Wright, others. This is part of the job? Even George Bush went downhill in support because of the attack he also faced.. But they all clearly went overboard in attacking Sarah Palin now and still do.

Although she Sarah Palin seems not to be able to handle the pressure in Alaska how would she make it in  Washington DC? I have to admit while I supported her yet  I still could not support the many inconsistency between what she said she and her family said they had believed and next what they actually morally practiced. Adultery, sex outside of marriage included. Questionable expense accounts too.. No secret she resigned because of the  mounting costs of her legal bills and the law suits she was facing.

Obama also still is finding out too politics is not all fun and games. “Obama has made it his priority to overhaul the US healthcare system, and expand coverage to the 46 million Americans without health insurance.  “This isn’t about me,” Mr Obama insisted.  “This isn’t about politics. This is about a health care system that is breaking America’s families, breaking America’s businesses, and breaking America’s economy.”  All of the plans under consideration would require Americans to take out insurance, and would bar insurance companies from denying coverage to people with pre-existing conditions.  The House committees’ joint bill and the Senate health committee bills would also create a new, publicly run health plan, which they hope would compete with private insurers and drive down prices.  The Senate Finance Committee bill is not expected to include a “public option”, but would instead set up non-profit medical co-operatives to compete with private insurers. ” http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/americas/8160065.stm

The great Rev Katherine Khulman has also had her share of crtics from without and within now too. Ironically it was her own negative experiences, her divorce actually from a man that was once married to someone else, that humbled her, broke  her and made her next a great vessel for God. The idea of celibacy may be hard for some of you, but even Kathryn Kuhlman realized she had to come out of the marriage she was in. The man divorced his wife and children to marry Kathryn. It must be done the way she did it. Note: I respect her for having done that. Maybe Sarah Palin will come back transformed too?

BC Liberals & the RCMP

Logo.BC.liars

If the BC Liberals have had nothing to hide then why would have they ordered the emails to be destroyed? they knew the matter was before the courts too.

“VANCOUVER — The trial judge in the political corruption case of two former B.C. government aides has ordered the disclosure to the defence of Premier Gordon Campbell’s e-mails. B.C. Supreme Court Justice Elizabeth Bennett granted the defence application to obtain the e-mails and other communications of the premier, key staff members — including the premier’s chief of staff — and a number of cabinet members at the time of the controversial sale of BC Rail in 2004. The judge found the documents related to BC Rail are likely relevant. Two former government aides, Dave Basi and Bob Virk, are accused of corruption, fraud and breach of trust for allegedly leaking confidential information about the BC Rail bidding process, including cabinet confidences, in exchange for cash and other benefits, such as a trip to Denver to see a football game, paid for by OmniTrax. Defence lawyer Michael Bolton said outside court Monday he was extremely pleased with Bennett’s ruling, adding it was one of the most important so far. He said the documents being sought go to the heart of the defence’s case, which is that the former political aides were only following the orders of their political masters — cabinet ministers responsible for the $1-billion privatization sale of BC Rail’s freight division to CN Rail.  A court order was issued by the judge, forcing the government to produce the documents. Whether the documents exist is still in question. The government initially said the material didn’t exist because backup tapes containing e-mails are only kept for 13 months.”

“The RCMP have launched a preliminary probe into missing e-mails in the B.C. Rail corruption case to determine if a more involved criminal investigation is necessary.  “We wouldn’t go ahead and launch a full-fledged criminal investigation until there was evidence there are violations of the federal Criminal Code or provincial statutes,” RCMP spokesman Sgt. Tim Shields said Saturday. “At first blush   . . . the destruction of internal e-mails does not appear to constitute a criminal offence.”  MLA Leonard Krog, the NDP’s attorney-general critic, wrote to the criminal justice branch of the A-G’s office requesting it probe an “apparent obstruction of justice” regarding the e-mails.  He sent a copy of the complaint, which also requested a special prosecutor be appointed to oversee the investigation, to the RCMP commissioner.  Assistant deputy A-G Robert Gillen responded in writing to Krog that he had referred his request to the RCMP, Krog said Friday.  Shields, who hadn’t yet been notified of Gillen’s letter, said receipt of Krog’s carbon-copied e-mail would have by itself prompted a preliminary probe.  Gillen’s letter said the appointment of a special prosecutor would be up to the Mounties.  Shields said the RCMP would request a special prosecutor if the government asked for one.  Court heard last week that e-mails by Premier Gordon Campbell were ordered destroyed in May, just before the Liberals were re-elected for a third term.  http://www.vancouversun.com/news/Premier+mails+must+disclosed+Judge/1809435/story.html

“But court heard last month that all cabinet emails between 2001 and 2005 could have been erased in May, when the Liberal government was re-elected to its third term, touching off speculation about who would have ordered their destruction and why.  “The destruction of evidence, whether by recklessness, negligence or a wilful failure to preserve could be a very significant factor to the outcome of this case and it potentially could lead to a motion for abuse of process,” Bennett said.  “Ultimately, the cabinet ministers that Mr. Virk and Mr. Basi worked for are slated to be witnesses in their trial so these emails are very important for trial purposes.”  Bennett said the material is likely relevant and she wants it by Aug. 17, after which she will review it before deciding whether it is connected to the case.  Leonard Krog, the Opposition NDP’s critic for the Attorney General’s Ministry, said the judge’s ruling has cast a broad net among former cabinet ministers and other high-ranking officials.  “I think even the premier of British Columbia has to be accountable to the courts when there are accused people before the courts and relevant evidence is apparently available,” he said.  “If this government had co-operated earlier it wouldn’t look so bad as it does now,” he said. “The fact is they should have co-operated. It was the right, moral, legally correct thing to do and they haven’t done so to date.”  Krog has called for a public inquiry into the supposed destruction of the emails, saying a provincial statute calls for electronic records must be kept for at least 10 years.  Virk’s lawyer, Kevin McCullough told court last month that the RCMP failed to obtain emails connected to its raid of the legislature even after former deputy finance minister Dave Morhart said in a statement that he’d saved about 2,000 of them.  McCullough said that suggests the Mounties targeted Virk and Basi from the beginning.  Morhart is among the officials whose emails Bennett requested Monday. The judge also said police did not seek emails from Collins, the former finance minister, during their investigation of the BC Rail deal. ” http://ca.news.yahoo.com/s/capress/090720/national/legislature_raid

E-mail scandal answers needed Times ColonistJuly 18, 2009
It would be hard to explain the apparent destruction of government e-mails pertaining to the sale of B.C. Rail — and harder still to defend it. The $1-billion sale was the basis for a political corruption case that is still before the B.C. Supreme Court. The charges were laid almost five years ago and followed a police raid on the legislature in December 2003.
No one employed by the government could be unaware of the charges against Dave Basi, Bob Virk and Aneal Basi. It is beyond belief to think that any senior government employee would not know better than to destroy evidence that could be needed in a major court case.
That is apparently what has happened, according to evidence presented to the court this week. To make matters worse, some e-mails were destroyed after the defence lawyers asked to see them.
The loss of these documents is a serious problem for the B.C. Liberal government, one that will plague Premier Gordon Campbell and his cabinet until the next election.
Campbell’s only real choice, if he wants to restore his government’s credibility, is to give British Columbians a full accounting of what went wrong and who was to blame. The people who ordered the records destroyed have no place in government.
The premier’s only comment so far is that the government has retained all of the documents that it was required to keep. That defence shows a lack of respect for both the legal process and the voters.
For years, the government has refused to comment on the B.C. Rail deal, arguing that it was before the courts. The apparent destruction of e-mail evidence makes a mockery of that stance.
Even dedicated Liberal supporters, who have stayed true to the party for the past decade, should be shaken by the e-mail fiasco and pressing for answers.
Consider the evidence presented to the court, and the timing of the e-mail destruction.
A government lawyer told Justice Elizabeth Bennett last month that all provincial cabinet e-mails from 2001 to 2005 had been destroyed. They were only retained for 13 months, the court was told.
That would have meant that even after the legislature raid, even after the charges were laid, someone decided to get rid of the records. That would also have meant that all electronic backups were also gone.
After that, it turned out that some e-mails to and from MLAs were, in fact, still available.
And this week, the court was told in an affidavit that the backups of cabinet e-mails had been ordered destroyed in May, just two months ago.
But the defence lawyers had asked for the e-mails two years ago. The government did not turn over the documents — and after receiving the request, the e-mails were destroyed.
What should British Columbians think about this? Is this incompetence, an effort to undermine the court case or something in between?
The loss of the e-mails is sure to bring more attention to the case, which deals with the sale of B.C. Rail to Canadian National.
Defence lawyers say that their clients were acting on the orders of cabinet ministers and senior bureaucrats. The e-mail records could turn out to be critical to the case.
The defence has asked Bennett to order the government to produce any e-mails pertaining to the rail deal. Bennett will rule on the request on Monday. Her first order of business will be to determine the potential relevance of the e-mails.
The B.C. Rail court case could turn out to be one of the most expensive in B.C. history, and taxpayers are picking up the tab. We have a right to see justice done.
We also have a right to answers about the government’s use and retention of e-mails. Which ones are missing? Which ones are kept permanently? What is being retained now?
The government should answer those questions, and more. If it has nothing to hide, it should not hesitate to tell the people.
The public has a right to know what is going on.

and what other bad things will they all do next too?  Don’t expect the too often incompetent, Useless buck passing RCMP to do much about it too.. I rightfully have never been a fan of the self centered BC Liberals or the bad RCMP now too.

The B.C. Liberals campaigned just three months ago on a promise to protect health care. They are now cutting health services. Rather than protecting care, Health Minister Kevin Falcon has told the province’s health authorities to cut $360 million this year – about 3.5 per cent of the spending needed to maintain care. Anyone who questioned this promise during the campaign was told to read the Liberals’ lips – no cuts. Anyone who suggested otherwise was accused of being biased toward the NDP. So what happened between now and then? Funding for the authorities has increased 5.8 per cent, a significant amount, but well short of what the authorities say they need to maintain care at last year’s levels. And that is what a sensible voter would have assumed the Liberals meant with their repeated promises to protect health care. It’s disturbing that only now – more than three months into the fiscal year – is the government revealing its true intentions. Competent management would have seen the health authority budgets reviewed and decisions made before the fiscal year began, so they could plan properly. Cuts will now have to be deeper. It’s much more disturbing that the level of health-care service is being allowed to decline as the need increases, driven by an aging and growing population. While we can appreciate that all cost-saving measures should be examined, and even encouraged, British Columbians did not vote for reduced care, longer waits for treatment and cuts to community-based care. So what happened? http://www2.canada.com/abbotsfordtimes/news/opinion/story.html?id=4decbda4-e756-44be-abd1-7ed177d3f685

Surprise — a new tax out of nowhere   The “harmonized tax” plan is the way Gordon Campbell, with no warning or consultation, imposed a major tax change. The new tax system will shift the payement of taxes more from business to individuals.  The tax plan wasn’t mentioned in the election campaign three months ago. There have been no discussion papers. The Liberals rejected calls for the harmonized tax and said the change wasn’t on the agenda. And now they have said they will impose it. Campbell  now proposes  th a 12 per cent merged GST and PST, effective next July 1. The tax will go to Ottawa, and B.C. will be sent its share.   Businesses can deduct GST they pay from their tax bill. Now they will be able to deduct PST as well, as it is included in the harmonized tax. That will save them — and cost the government — about $1.9 billion in what had been provincial sales tax. That’s a 37 per cent drop in PST revenue. Which means someone else is going to have to pay the $1.9 billion that business will be saving.   The new tax will apply to a long list of things that you didn’t pay PST on. Heating oil and natural gas, cable and telephone, restaurant meals and non-prescription medicine. Movie and airline tickets and real estate commissions and dry cleaning and new house prices.  http://www.timescolonist.com/news/Paul+Willcocks+Surprise+nowhere/1828089/story.html

The RCMP should be out of politics, out of Cabinet, accountable to civilian oversight, and investigated by other forces, perhaps international forces arranged by treaty. Failing that, this anachronistic institution should be mothballed or sold to Disney Corp . http://network.nationalpost.com/np/blogs/fullcomment/archive/2009/08/12/don-martin-at-the-rcmp-the-thin-blue-line-is-alive-and-well.aspx

The serious loss of trust of the RCMP

  0.mickey-white.rcmp

It has been obvious from the beginning when the RCMP had refused to return to the owner the tape OF Robert Dziekanski’s death  that the RCMP was guilty of cover-up, obstruction of justice, guilty of perversity in their behavior.. AND THROUGH OUT THE HEARING THAT HAS BEEN AN UNDENIABLE, UNACCEPTABLE CONTINUED FACT OF LIFE AS WELL. Now in reality an RCMP  cleansing is needed and heads should roll, the heads of the RCMP officers at the scenes, their immediate supervisors, and all the top brass related to the cover-up, inadequate proper actions in these matters, and the sooner the better for the benefit of the whole RCMP, and all Canadians now as well who rightfully  have LOST A  SERIOUS TRUST INTO THIS RCMP INSTITUTION.

VANCOUVER, B.C. – The federal government lawyer who has been representing the RCMP at the inquiry into Robert Dziekanski’s death has stepped aside from her duties at the hearings, which were derailed last month after the surprising disclosure of an internal email.  Helen Roberts gave a tearful apology to Commissioner Thomas Braidwood last month after an email surfaced and appeared to contradict the testimony of the four officers who confronted Dziekanski at Vancouver’s airport.  The email, between two senior Mounties, suggested the officers discussed using the Taser before arriving at the airport in the early morning of Oct. 14, 2007, even though the officers testified they did not.  The late disclosure prompted a chiding from Braidwood, who called it “appalling” and put the hearings on hold until September while the email’s contents are investigated.  The Justice Department confirmed that the case was reassigned to another lawyer, Mitchell Taylor, on June 29 – 10 days after Roberts’ apology.  Roberts wasn’t available to explain why she stepped aside, but the Justice Department released a statement that said it was her decision.  “Ms. Roberts asked that she be allowed to withdraw from the file and that request was accepted,” said the statement.  The statement noted that Roberts is still working for the Justice Department.  On June 19, when closing arguments were set to begin, Roberts told Braidwood the email was contained on a CD that the RCMP handed over in April, but government lawyers didn’t look through its contents until the week before.  She called the omission an “oversight,” while insisting the email’s suggestion that the officers planned to use the Taser en route to the airport was the result of a misunderstanding.  In the email, Chief Supt. Dick Bent and RCMP Assistant Commissioner Al McIntyre were discussing their media strategy for the release of the now-infamous amateur video of the fatal confrontation.  Bent told McIntyre that the officer in charge of the investigation into Dziekanski’s death – Supt. Wayne Rideout – told him the officers discussed their response on the way to the airport.  Roberts said the three officers were prepared to appear at the inquiry and suggested they would testify Bent was simply mistaken.  Inquiry lawyer Art Vertlieb said it is the RCMP, not Roberts, who must answer for not producing the email sooner.  “She got it (the CD) in April, the RCMP witnesses were on the stand in February – that document should have been produced (by the RCMP) before that,” said Vertlieb. The RCMP couldn’t be reached for comment.  http://ca.news.yahoo.com/s/capress/090716/national/taser_inquiry

(Eccl 8:11 KJV)  Because sentence against an evil work is not executed speedily, therefore the heart of the sons of men is fully set in them to do evil.

I heard firsthand one teenager saying to another teenager yesterday, “I cannot trust you, you lie to me all the time” and this next had made me reflect upon the reality that the average person lies 3 times in every ten minutes of conversation, and it also reminded me with my past years of undeniable dealing with Bell related to my internet download problems, they too had  lied to me all the time, by not admitting the truth first that there was a problem, nor next honestly admitting the cause of the problem. It seems that spin doctoring, misleading, lying to others is a very major part of not just the lawyers, used car salesmen, but a regular part of the sales, advertising, corporate way of doing business with consumers these days Canada wide now as well.

Now   this statement APPLIES TO THE RCMP NOW AS WELL.. “I cannot trust you, you lie to me all the time”

I cannot trust you, FOR you lie to me all the time

     pinnochio

I heard firsthand one teenager saying to another teenager yesterday, “I cannot trust you, you lie to me all the time” and this next had made me reflect upon the reality that the average person lies 3 times in every ten minutes of conversation, and it also reminded me with my past years of undeniable dealing with Bell related to my internet download problems, they too had  lied to me all the time, by not admitting the truth first that there was a problem, nor next honestly admitting the cause of the problem.      .
Now take this statement for example.. about the CRTC’s Farcical hearings on the regulating of the interent speeds, the Internet upload and download speed controls.. https://thenonconformer.wordpress.com/2015/05/22/thye-lied-mislead-about-the-internet-speeds-one-gets-at-home/
     .
“Currently there is no regulatory commission. Over Internet Service in Canada. Whether it be quality or privacy period.  I wrote a letter to the CRTC myself. About a breach of contract of server. Reply; Due to the lack of internet servers.. Have taken no stance in regulating them. Realizing the need for Canadians to have internet services available. you may try. Office of Consumer Affairs. Consistent quality, and privacy. As stated by contract agreement. Must be upheld. By Whom? ” http://www.theglobeandmail.com/report-on-business/crtc-asks-who-should-be-internet-traffic-cops/article1215954/
    .

” I came across a Canadian Press release yesterday talking about the poll and it really bothered me. No, the results are NOT valid. The only thing the poll showed with any accuracy is that everyone is ignorant on the subject. I say that those polled should be educated about traffic management practices and what the future may hold for Canadians if the big ISP’s are allowed to have their way, then they take the poll again. Bet you everything I own that the results of that poll will come out completely different than it did the first time.”  “But, even though “Most Canadians support the idea of Internet traffic management,” only about one in five of those surveyed had even heard of it, says the Winnipeg Free Press  And, “Interestingly,” blogs Michael Geist, just prior to the release of the survey, “one of the people who was called over the weekend (the survey was conducted July 9 – 12th) contacted me to report”.  What was the substance of the poll?  Questions about traffic shaping, “could be roughly summed up as ‘Did you know that your neighbour’s movie downloading is slowing down your Internet’?” – said the  informant.  “This doesn’t exactly inspire confidence about some of the poll results,” says Geist.  But then, nothing about the inquiry or the various ‘fact-finding’ processes surrounding it inspires confidence.”     http://www.p2pnet.net/story/25125/comment-page-1#comment-979019

    .

“OTTAWA – Most Canadians support the idea of Internet traffic management as long as all users are treated fairly, a new poll suggests.”
    .

Amazing how many non technical Canadian news reporters skirt the truth and distort it here too.
    .
AND WHAT DID BELL, Rogers AND THE OTHER BIG CORPORATE INTERNET GIANTS  PAY THEM  ALL TO LIE  HERE TOO?
    .
Here is what you all do need to first do to to check the computer’s network speed at http://www.acanac.ca/speedtest/
     .
And after that ONLY THEN YOU CAN ASK MOST CANADIANS WHAT INTERNET SPEED THEY WERE PROMISED BY THEIR ISP COMPARED TO WHAT   THEY ARE ACTUALLY NOW REGULARLY, CONSISTENTLY   GETTING ..
     .
THEN ONE IN A VALID POLL CAN NOW HONESTLY ASK THEM ALL IF THEY ARE SATISFIED WITH THE INTERNET TRAFFIC MANAGEMENT OF THEIR SPEEDS .. and give me, us all an honest poll.
     .
Rogers, Bell, Videotron, Shaw all only care about one thing.. maximum profits.. motivated by maximum greed.. finding an excuse to charge the customer for more.. and that they have done with their regulating, capping… and no one cares about what the consumer thinks, the CRTC included.
      .
Many Other citizens have agreed with the truths that I have written even  that the ISP providers themselves FIRSTLY  are the main reasons the internet is congested and that they the ISPs are also guilty of false, misleading advertising to get customers too.
    .
“It’s time for our ISP’s to refund us for the speed that they claim to provide but we are unable to get. Let’s see… I should be getting “up to” 10 Mbps and I am only seeing 500 Kbps… it’s time for Rogers to cough up! Anything less than 80% of their claim should be considered as misleading the customer and the ISP should be held accountable for this infraction.”
     .
” what about just giving me what I pay for. How can our government let them charge us for a service and then not provide that service?”
     .
“The BEAN counters will be in the back room checking to see how they can squeeze another 2 cents out of any decision coming from this meeting.”
     .
“Internet throttling benefits customers: Rogers, Shaw – I cannot help but notice that Big Business in Canada wants ALL the power. Power to limit what Consumers can and cannot access on the Internet. They throttle our speeds at their whim, they want to inspect every data packet we upload or download and they want to make criminals out of us all, while at the same time charging us extra money to purchase blank media for copying . Yet at the same time they fill our inboxes with Spam. 9 out of every 10 emails I get are Spam trying to sell me something or con me out of my money. They fill websites with Bots to follow every click of our mouse to “better tailor our individual likes & dislikes”, while completely removing our right to privacy without threat to prosecution or fines. We have far too much to lose people if we let these Corporate archaic monopolistic behemoths win this one.”
     .
“Of course the Rogers would say this. Their only interest is controlling access, gouging customers, lying about speeds, eliminating competition and holding onto their monopoly. Anything a Telco/ISP has to say should immediately be taken as the exact opposite of what is good for the consumer. We need Net Neutrality and we need it RIGHT NOW”
     .

    – CRTC Neutrality hearings begin with conflicting claims that their exists adequate capacity by the ISP,  or they do really lack capacities, to allow everyone unrestricted, unhindered download access presently?
     .
    – Quebec to end automatic cell phone contract renewals, surprise fees  and what about the Internet service  providers, who are the same firms doing the same bad things there too to the customers, well?
     .
Ever wonder besides viruses that as time goes by you notice that   your computer net is slower, and slower, well it is no  secret Bell, Rogers, and others cannot handle the continually the increasing demands caused by computers and iphones now too. So their systems break down, have failures too often, are over used, in over capacity mode.. and these carriers seem to  have been to cheap to rectify the problem, update, modernize their communication equipment..
    .
Sadly AT&T for a start is not the only carrier that doesn’t have presently  adequate  existing bandwidth to support all of their customers, iPhone users  using  an “unlimited” data plan  and that would now include Rogers and Bell? who are clearly already capping their existing customers and others to over come this serious shortcoming,   and in spite of what they do all  promise now they might have in the future I really rightfully do not believe them.  ..  why Rogers and Bell, others  are always a LOSER. Always looking for some way to SOCK IT TO  their customers over  and over again and find another excuse to make the customers pay more. If they all knew the whole truth the Lower subscriber usage means smaller revenues for carriers like Rogers , Telus Corp  and Bell, BCE Inc so they lie to get more customers..  https://thenonconformer.wordpress.com/2009/06/14/buyer-beware-beware/
     .
I have openly rightfully shared with the Prime Minister of Canada Stephen Harper’s office that Bell Sympatico undeniably is one of the most dirty, immoral, abusive Corporation, firm I have dealt in Canada in my lifetime. One that even falsely suppressed my complaints against it, my right of free speech as well. Because Bell Sympatico has UNACCEPTABLY TOO often HAD breached my ISP contractual agreement and NEXT Bell Sympatico had forcibly falsely disconnected my ISP service with them too thus next I have been forced to switch over to the Canadian http://www.acanac.ca/ -Residential High Speed ADSL without any Limits and No Blocked Ports or Traffic Shaping, plus Unlimited Downloading 100 GB of Online Storage Up to 5 Mbps Download and 800 Kbps Upload $18.95 per month
      .
Here is 2 very popular past helpful posts of mine for Still Many Consumers do not know how to choose firstly an ISP provider, and what their options are too.
    .

a:  The Internet suppliers (ISP) promised Internet speed is in fact generally a false one, for it is generally only a theoretical speed, and not even the true average speed, an optimum speed under the perfect conditions only, for it depends on many other factors, such as the conditions, type of the connected cable, phone lines, branch services, other equipment. It is in fact like me promising you that you can have all the money in my bank account, but meanwhile I let many other persons collect from it as well. http://thenonconformer.blogspot.com/2007/10/choosing-cable-or-dsl-internet-service.html

    .

b:”Canada’s leading telecommunications carrier, BCE Inc and  Kevin Crull, president of Bell Canada’s residential services division, is asking Prime Minister Stephen Harper and his cabinet to reverse a CRTC, which was reaffirmed by regulators on March 3, 2009, ruling requiring the company to offer the same bandwidth speeds to wholesale ISP customers as it does to its own subscribers. The CRTC ruling according to Preexisting regulations already rightfully requires incumbent phone companies (including BCE) to rent network access to smaller internet service providers, so as to foster competition and keep the cost of basic internet service at a reasonable level. This is a very reasonable demand too. Monopolistic  BCE naturally argues that the December decision  will cut into it’s own revenues  nevertheless the Conservative government for the good of all Canadians now, should not listen to the falsely abusive companies like BCE, and not remove these regulatory barriers  ”

    .

Imagine that Bell has been in Business for many years and is still guilty now clearly of misleading advertisements, fraudulent and unacceptable business practices, not living up to their contractual obligations, as I now have PERSONALLY WITNESSED, EXPERIENCED  and undeniably detailed to even Bell and many others many times too now . I Paid for a high speed unlimited download service but that is not what I got next. I got low internet speed at a high price. With Bell you have to check your actual delivered speeds , “internet download and upload speed test” cause Bell seems to change it to suit themselves..    Dealing with Bell is absurdity filled with problems. In spite of their adds, promises Bell Sympatico services are all mostly very poor, they also mostly break their promises to me too and they too Cleary do not honor their contract obligations, their own 2 days respond promises now too. As I have detailed many times elsewhere they Bell have never given me my one year reliable, steady, continuous high speed internet services too, have never kept their contract obligations I have been with Bell for many years. Note since Day one of even Jan 2007 I have hundreds of email that I had sent to Bell about their bad internet services too.. and I had sent copies the news media , to the Major MPs, for the last 15 months. I have a High speed unlimited Internet download contract with Bell since day one and they Bell next even had tried many times to have me up change from my 6 meg download account to their new Bell higher speed plans, and I had clearly refused saying back to them as to why should I go the higher speed plan when they could not even deliver me the promised 6 meg downloads, and also I had specially also said that if I had changed download plans I would lose my unlimited download plan, so I made no changes, authorized no changes to my contract with Bell the last 15 months. On top of all my many complaints about dealing with Bell on April 3 2007 by phone and in writing I specially also had asked Bell to give me simply a full detail listing of all my monthly payments, a full account statements specially for the last 15 months, and I told them I cannot seem to access my online Billing, something I have complained to them about before too, and they so far have refused this simple request too and the Bell have not done so to date. This is absurd, ridiculous and unacceptable in this computer age when they can spit out my legitimate request in a second. Bell Sympatico is quick to phone you and to harass you to demand their payments, but Bell Sympatico in return is very slow to deal with the customers, requests, problems in my 15 months experiences. To get proper services from Bell it is like mating elephants it has to be done at a very high level with plenty of thrashings and noise. Unacceptable. Reality- Dirty Dirty Bell Sympatico .the most abusive Corporation, firm I have dealt in Canada in my lifetime. Sadly there are other bad firms now too..  ‘ https://thenonconformer.wordpress.com/2008/04/15/bell-sympatico/
    .

    – CRTC to look at how Internet traffic is managed to avoid congestion – THE TRUTH, REALITY? is that Bell seems firstly to have some of the CRTC personnel in their back pocket so this hearing is a farce?

    .

    – CRTC to look at how Internet traffic is managed to avoid congestion-  Bell Canada’s major ISP  ongoing  lying distortion to the news media, CRTC, others , undeniable breach of their past contractual obligations to it’s own customers too,  that their need for  capping the internet downloads was due to  the internet congestion traffic it now still faces as an internet service provider is now due solely to the vast P2P , Torrent,  downloads is still a A FALSEHOOD, A FALSE SCAPEGOAT, A LIE AND NOT THE REALITY, NOT THE TRUE FACTS. In fact BASICALLY  Bell’s congestion problem was due to BELL’S OWN FAULT, due to the fact that Bell had lied, and had oversold FROM THE START, INITIALLY  their OWN internet capabilities services to ALL OF it’s customers, others. Because Bell NOW even had obtained many of it’s customers under lies,  false statements, false pretence, Bell also now should not  even be  allowed to keep all of it’s own customers it now had obtained as well. Bell’s congestion problem was initially, undeniably, really due to the truth that   it’s own internet system initially were never adequately, fully designed, upgraded to be used as a high speed internet system to all the customers as advertised, rather Bell’s ISP in general was and it is still mainly a low speed internet system Canada wide. Bell needs to be forced to disclose fully, in  the truth to all persons in Canada about it’s actual internet capabilities, even telecommunications, iPhone  in all areas now as well. You really cannot continue to grow a business based on lies, distortions, falsehoods, even if it is Bell. Additionally Bell monopolistically, falsely is capping all of   the internet downloads is to allow the future expansion usages of iphones, and for downloading of customers movies rented from  Bell.
    .
    –  The government ( s ),  federal and provincial, should first look at the many, undeniable practices of false, misleading practices by persons like Bell selling their ISP services.. if Bell had firstly told the whole truth about their actual capabilities , they Bell would not have had next a major  traffic congestion problem because few people would have initially even  taken their ISP services over cable in fact, for in truth the cable ISP  can even now be more readily, quickly, and  less costly expanded too!!! Bell knew that and so it lied about it’s ISP capabilities to all.. still does as well..

    .

    – The governments, CRTC, etc,  falsely do allow the corporations to lie because because THEY LIE THEMSELVES AND OFTEN…. who is being lied to when I have posted all these truths facts on the net, to many now too.. it just confirms who the liars now are still  too.

    .

No matter how the lying weasels spins the facts, tries to weasel out of the truth, the truth is still know by many too..

    .

APPROPRIATE  PUBLIC EXPOSURE AND THE APPROPRIATE PROSECUTION OF THE GUILTY SERVES EVERYONE’S BEST INTEREST.

    .

FOR A GOOD NAME IS WORTH MUCH MORE THAN ANY AMOUNT OF SILVER OR GOLD AND A TARNISHED ONE IS WORTHLESS.

    .

    – There are some legitimate still reasons for the ISP’s high  costs. one is the fact that the telecommunications companies tend to be undeniably  very poorly managed, have too many cheap, incapable, incompetent personnel https://thenonconformer.wordpress.com/2008/10/12/bell-telus-team-up-to-upgrade-networks-and-why/

    .

    see

     .
“If you (Bell) were half as good at running a company as you were at lobbying,  maybe you’d have a better network,”  Quebecor executive vice-president Luc Lavoie who took a shot at the quality of Bell Canada’s cellphone service: . http://news.aol.ca/article/telecom-summit/258999/
     .
Bell’s bad acts are Not acceptable,

    .
I too at least am known for telling the truth and that is worth much too… Bell is a known liar and that is not worth much..
    .

The big corporate do prefer no outside regulating bodies,  they want to to deal with each customer individually, divide and conquer approach, for they are afraid of massive class action suits, and there are many now against Bell even

    .

Quebec’s pension fund IS NOW IN REAL TROUBLE   “The new head of the fund is Michael Sabia, former head of Bell Canada Enterprises, who took over in March of this year.” QUEBCERS AND THE Quebec’s pension fund IS NOW IN REAL  TROUBLE,  JUST LOOK AT THE BAD EFFECT THE SAME PERSON SABIA  HAD ON BELL, WHOSE STOCKS, SALES, SERVICES, CUSTOMER SATISFACTION  HAVE GONE DONE DRASTICALLY. I HOPE THEY ARE ALL NOT STUPID ENOUGH TO LET HIM INVEST OUR MONEY INTO BELL AS WELL. Now also add to this Quebec’s Minister of Finance, Monique Forget, who always seemed to forget me too,  her  sudden resignation  from politics and thus who will not be around to answer what she also knows about this affair.. It sure looks like a cover-up…
    .

Almost since my first job after graduating from university I had learned that in the real world many people are not to be trusted, they do need to be supervised, and major corruption still exists in construction, universities, municipalities, governments, corporations, amongst professionals and politicians as well.

UBC Hospital patient awarded $5M compensation

      Logo.BC.liars

“UBC Hospital must pay a Richmond man about $5 million for losing track of a CT scan and failing to diagnose his debilitating condition in time, the B.C. Supreme Court has ruled. When Shawn Kahlon went to his general practitioner 10 years ago reporting back pain, he was referred to a specialist at UBC Hospital where a CT scan was done.  But the CT scan was misfiled and never followed up on. The court ruled the scan should have triggered an investigation that would have led to a diagnosis of spinal TB meningitis. Treatment would then have been ordered, and Kahlon would likely have made a full recovery, the ruling said.  The CT scan was eventually recovered in 2000 but by then, his condition had gotten worse. Kahlon, now 42, is incapacitated, unemployable and in need of round-the-clock care, according to the ruling.  The B.C. Supreme Court exonerated Kahlon’s family doctor and the specialists who saw him and found Kahlon 30 per cent liable for ignoring a request for a follow up exam.  But the court found UBC Hospital 70 per cent liable for misfiling his original CT scan and failing to inform his doctors that no followup test was done. The $5 million estimate is based on a life expectancy for Kahlon of age 60.”  CBC

The  ‘lack of personal responsibility’ is always inexcusable.  I know from first hand experience that the  patient  firstly also has to be involved  to make the health care system work for them. One merely being too lazy and Relying on the supposed professionalism, help of doctors, and any others to now next take control of dealing fully with your own health problems does not insure, guarantee  success… rather this bad approach  may not get much good done for you.

It is important to not only to get a  good  Doctor referrals, to tell the doctor what you think is wrong, and to ask the Doctor the right questions, but it is also important that  that you persist until you get acquire, satisfactory answers, and to insure that you do get all of the necessary follow-up appointments. THIS MAY MEAN VISITING MORE THAN ONE DOCTOR NOW AS WELL.

Many people complain about the health care system when they themselves now have not done all that they should do to insure they get, got a good medical service.

Firstly NOW it a real bad advice to even visit a doctor alone, for the doctors are the most afraid of a pending lawsuit, so always do also take a loud mouthed witness with you when you got to the Hospital, or  to any doctor’s visits.

Secondly on your first visit you cannot  just tell your doctor that it is his job alone to find out what is wrong with you, or that  ‘something is wrong with me’ merely , and next expect even then  to be fully taken care of.  You have to help the doctor to find out what is wrong with you by telling him what the pain symptoms are.

Doctors  too often are often busy persons in our poorly managed health care system so it is very easy for your health needs to slip through the cracks like this poor fellow above.

When  you get tests or scans done make sure your doctor not only sees them and reviews them but that he gives you some real feedback. Ask him what the results showed. See if he really looked at them.

Something as important as your  good health it is never  adequate enough to leave  completely in the hands of others,  what ever experts though they may claim to be.

I know firsthand there are good and bad doctors, and good and poorly, badly managed Hospitals now as well.

For a few years I was not getting enough looking after from the local medical establishment, while they were busy charging with their services with my health card. So I next had merely informed my main doctor that I was writing a report to the federal and provincial health minister of how I was being treated by him, and well next the doctor started to take his work seriously and to give me adequate care..

By the way the government of British Columbia, Canada   is already well known for not caring about the poor people, the citizens good welfare or legal, human rights.. they seem to be self centered, selfish  and crappy.
