Quebec Liberal leaders, a bad sense of what bad people are like. Why?

plq_logo_ Why is now that the Quebec Liberal leaders, are known to associate with the really bad persons.

.

Lu Chan Khuong  had this year become the first elected female president of the  Quebec Bar Association  and she is also the partner of Marc Bellemare, former minister of justice under the Liberal government of Jean Charest.  The board of directors of the Quebec Bar asked the president, demanded her  to resign on Wednesday and suspended her after she refused  after was  reported she shoplifted jeans. In its statement, the board indicated that Khuong confirmed being the subject of a complaint for shoplifting in a store in Laval, and that her file was processed under the “program to deal non-judicially with certain criminal offences committed by adults” in 2014. The non-judicial handling of her  offence can be decided on by the Directeur des poursuites criminelles et pénales when the act is a minor offence that doesn’t pose a real threat to society. The decision is only taken when it has determined that the fault attributed to the offender is an offence that can be proven. Diverting the charges is often offered in exchange for community service.

.

59-year McGill University Health Centre CEO Arthur Porter, the former Canadian spy-agency head and McGill University hospital administrator  has died in a Panama   of cancer on Tuesday , where he was in jail fighting extradition to Canada to face fraud charges.  The Crown wants proof Arthur Porter died in Panama . At the peak of his power, Arthur Porter enjoyed the rarefied luxuries of a Caribbean villa and a chauffeur-driven Bentley, boasting of contacts with heads of state from around the world  — including no less than the present Premier of Quebec,Philippe Couillard .  The Quebec prosecutor handling the multi-million dollar fraud case involving Arthur Porter says she wants Quebec police to verify that he is actually dead, she wants to see official reports verifying accused fraudster’s death Tuesday. Two Quebec anti-corruption officers sent to Panama expect to see the body of Arthur Porter once administrative formalities are sorted out. The UPAC officers say they have been assured by authorities there Porter is dead.

.

Arthur Porter  who so assiduously courted politicians —  including Philippe Couillard (when he served as health minister in the mid-2000s) — later became a political pariah after a warrant was issued for his arrest more than two years ago on corruption charges. Arthur Porter, M.D., also the former dismissed CEO of the Detroit Medical Center, Dr. Porter, whose management style had already raised questions during this job, at the Detroit Medical Centre, was later charged in one of the largest corruption and fraud investigations in Canadian history.  the  Police allege  Porter received $11.25 million in secret commissions for rigging the contract to build the new McGill University Health Centre superhospital in SNC-Lavalin’s favour.   The Crown alleges Porter received part of a $22.5-million payment from Montreal-based engineering giant SNC-Lavalin in order to fix the call for tenders to ensure the firm received the lucrative contract. Porter left the DMC to head McGill University Health Centre‘s hospital network, where he was administrator from 2004 to 2011. In late 2011.

.

Porter also quit the MUHC amid concerns he was involved in too many private business deals. He returned to the Bahamas, where he announced in January 2013 that he had lung cancer. Four months later, Porter and his wife were arrested by Interpol agents at Panama’s international airport on the MUHC warrants. Among Porter’s belongings was a passport from Sierra Leone which he claimed gave him diplomatic status.  In total, nine people were charged in the alleged MUHC scheme, including two other former MUHC executives and three ex-SNC-Lavalin ones. Porter was the only one not to appear in Quebec to formally answer to the charges. Porter moved to Nassau, Bahamas, just ahead of a lawsuit filed by McGill and charges by Quebec prosecutors of conspiracy, embezzlement, fraud against the government, breach of trust and related crimes related to the construction of a $1.3 billion “super hospital” in Montreal. Porter, a medical doctor and cancer specialist,   was arrested on an international warrant in Panama City in May 2013,  while in La Joya prison he was fighting extradition to Canada .

.

In the  Summer of 2005, Porter flies to Baltimore with Premier Jean Charest and Health Minister Philippe Couillard to persuade the Shriners at their annual convention to keep their pediatric orthopedic hospital in Montreal. Their gambit works and marks the beginning of a working relationship between Couillard and Porter.

.

Porter  founded a consulting company with Couillard in 2009, almost a year after Couillard left public office.

.

On  June 15:,  2009  Porter and Couillard were elected directors of mining company Canadian Royalties, almost a year after Couillard resigned as Quebec’s health minister and as a member of the National Assembly. The two sat on the board of Canadian Royalties until Dec. 16, 2009.

.

Quebec’s anti-corruption task force suspects Porter and four high-profile  executives involved in the construction of the McGill University Superhospital  were part of a massive fraud conspiracy.UPAC issued arrest warrants Wednesday morning for Arthur Porter, Pierre  Duhaime, Riadh Ben Aissa, Yanai Elbaz , Jeremy Morris. UPAC confirmed  Wednesday that Elbaz – the former associate director general of the MUHC – is in  custody and will be charged Thursday. Duhaime — the former CEO of SNC-Lavalin – will turn himself in to Surete du  Quebec headquarters Thursday morning, He has already been charged with fraud. Ben  Aissa — another former executive at SNC-Lavalin — has already been arrested  and questioned by police for his possible role in other plots. All five are wanted for fraud, conspiracy to commit fraud, and related charges.   https://thenonconformer.wordpress.com/2013/02/27/high-profile-executives-involved-in-the-construction-of-the-mcgill-university-superhospital-are-charged/

.

Quebec’s police task force on corruption is probing the billion-dollar contract for McGill Montreal mega-hospital awarded to a consortium led by Montreal engineering giant SNC Lavalin Group Inc. SNC-led consortium had won the McGill University Health Centre contract. Police raid the McGill University Health Centre . Up until six months ago, the hospital project had been overseen by Riadh Ben Aissa, a former head of SNC’s construction division, and also a central figure in an ongoing scandal. One of SNC’s original subcontractors in the project was a company controlled by construction magnate Antonio (Tony) Accurso – a controversial figure who now is also facing fraud and corruption charges. The hospital deal was put together under the watch of the previous chief executive of the health centre, Arthur Porter who left his own job under a cloud late last year. Arthur Porter had been appointed chair of the federal government’s security-intelligence watchdog agency, when his African business dealings with an arms dealer were revealed. Dr. Porter stepped down from both jobs. The Quebec government has earmarked $2.35-billion for an effort to reconstruct Montreal hospitals, the lion’s share going to the McGill University Health Centre campus. “Quebec’s anti-corruption unit has put several high-profile figures in its crosshairs since being established last year. It has arrested construction magnates such as Mr. Accurso and Paolo Catania, as well as Frank Zampino, a former city councillor who was the right-hand man of Montreal Mayor Gérald Tremblay.”

.

Not much of a surprise? The tip of the iceberg is being revealed only as  the overall depth of corruption will take much more time apparently to uncover, corruptions that likley permeates the whole project. Birds of feathers tend to flock together. And no one should tell us that  these initial suspected persons, now  were even  just isolated individuals acting on their own without the vast help and knowledge of any others now too. Higher education never insures one’s good moral standings.  https://thenonconformer.wordpress.com/2011/10/26/mcgill-administrators-likley-run-their-hospitals-the-same-way/

.

Former CSIS watchdog Arthur Porter arrested in Panama .Arthur Porter, the well-connected oncologist and hospital administer whom Prime Minister Stephen Harper appointed three years ago to oversee Canada’s spy agency, was arrested with his wife in Panama on charges including fraud against the Quebec government relating to his alleged role in the handling of a $1.3-billion Montreal hospital construction and maintenance contract, awarded three years ago to scandal-plagued engineering giant SNC-Lavalin Group Inc. The head of Quebec’s anti-corruption task force made the announcement Monday evening. In a written statement, Robert Lafreniere said the arrest was conducted after an investigation — code name Project Lauréat — by the Sureté du Québec, the RCMP and the International Criminal Police Organization (Interpol).Dr. Porter and his wife, Pamela Porter, are in police custody. Mrs. Porter is accused of handling the products of crime and con   Efforts are being made to extradite the couple to Canada, according to the statement.

Couillard  had   now   distanced himself   from  Porter,   many  years  late..

.

Wife pleads guilty to laundering money for former spy watchdog Arthur Porter .The wife of Arthur Porter, the accused fraudster and former head of the federal spy watchdog, has admitted to laundering millions of dollars stolen from the public purse. Yet Dr.  Arthur Porter, and  still insist the whole event is a lie, perverse fabrication, they are  not guilty of any wrong doing.. and Dr. P. Couillard?,

.
Bad Dr Porter’s relationship with Dr. P. Couillard, who was Quebec’s health minister  and now the Premier of Quebec too, at the time, appears to be far more extensive than previously thought.  Couillard, claims he did not know that his long time business partner was a crook must have really really bad jugdement  or is lying.  Not only did Couillard and Porter go on fishing trips when Porter served as chief executive officer of the MUHC, he says, but Porter claims that Couillard phoned him every day for political advice.  http://www.montrealgazette.com/news/Arthur+Porter+dishes+dirt+Harper+Couillard/10188705/story.html
Yes the same person Couillard could not spot a crook even as he worked with him for years..  but I can work with a person one day and likely tell you if he is a crook, immoral or not..  and that is why I tend to spell Liberals as Lieberals..
.
The really bad  Liberals  including DR Philippe Couillard  who had  allowed this province to go down in a mess, corruptions THEY STILL REALLY do not deserve to be a governing party ever. I am not a politician, but as an ordinary Citizen I knew that Dr Porter was likely clearly corrupt, the MUHC corrupted, and the city of Montreal as well and I had objected to it. And if Pauline Marois and her separatist  party fail to address the corruptions now properly, instead of sweeping it under the table as has been done wrongfully  for decades, they too  do not deserve to be a governing party ever Both the Liberals and the PQ parties had failed to properly deal with English language laws already too..
.
Too many persons really cannot face the reality there are things in their life that need serious, drastic changes. These people in denial are the ones who often need professional help for their own short comings, sickness. Their false denial, diversion, distortion does not change the negative reality about their own unacceptable acts. Corruptions occurs now Not just in Churches, amongst the police, politicians, civil and public servants. These People in the state of false denials, clearly also who lie often, they do now also tend to have severe personal, mental disorders next even cause one tends to eventually believe next ones own lies as being the truth, and they can no  longer differentiate their own lies from reality, the truth. By their false denials Who is fooling whom? You cannot fool all the people all the time and now matter how smart you are there is still someone more wiser who can see the truth still too. . Narcissistic, selfish, self centered Mental Disorders too evident now even in many of the so called Professionals even bad pastors, leaders leads these persons to dwell in self-absorption, fantasy, illusion, where she or he has exaggerated claims to talents, importance, or specialness, manifesting evidence of a need for constant admiration from others, a lack of empathy for all others, persistent in this too, have rigid personality traits and coping styles, clearly inflexible, do show a hypersensitivity to any criticism , defeat or negative realities thus they rather are pathological in denial by the their falsity, contrived replacement of the truths which they still must face eventually . These SEVERE PERSONALITY disorders are generally personally ongoing too leading to more impaired social and/or occupational functioning and can make it difficult to pinpoint a clear dividing line between their pathology and their so called normality. Most of these people with their personality disorders may not perceive that there is anything wrong with their behavior and thus they are not motivated to change it. It is important to note that these personality disorders are considered to have their onset in late adolescence or early adulthood and they alone are responsible for it too.
.
Again false Denial, it is very   common when many an individual, even amongst so called professionals, even in pastors now included, are openly confronted with their own wrong doings, that they resort to a false denial. When confronted with the truth the denier they often respond with a similar personal counter attack remark as ”you are crazy”. “I reject your reality… and substitute my own.” Their false denial, diversion, distortion does not change the negative reality about themselves still though. Sadly it is a negative natural human tendency to devolve into denial.” It’s not just a moral compass that’s lacking, but the ability to honest, or to stand apart. Denial often comes out of a false pride, a fear of being openly exposed as being wrong. Denial is a false convenient escape, excuse for inaction for persons now facing a situation that requires a decision or action that conflicts with his or her established past policy. Denial too often can be further disastrous upon themselves and others.. for denial is not seeing data at all or seeing it and coming to an erroneous conclusion within oneself. One’s false denial is often based on a false assumption of one’s past great success and often precedes their own severe personal failure next due to a personal disconnect with real life. Illustrated fully by the story of the Emperor with new clothes. .
.
False Denial (also called abnegation) is a often defense mechanism in which a person is faced with a fact that is too uncomfortable to accept and rejects it instead, insisting that it is not true despite what may be overwhelming evidence, a mechanism of the immature mind that conflicts with the ability to learn from and cope with reality. The subject may now deny the reality of the unpleasant fact altogether (simple denial), admit the fact but deny its seriousness (minimization) or admit both the fact and seriousness but deny responsibility (transference). The concept of denial is particularly related to the denial of one’s addiction to alcohol for example, or to one slandering others, abusing them stealing, lying.. their denial or their minimization of their own wrong doings is the essential part of what enables them next to  continue his or her behavior in the face of evidence that, to an outsider, that is overwhelming. “The American Heart Association cites denial as a principal reason that treatment of a heart attack is delayed. Because the symptoms are so varied, and often have other potential explanations, the opportunity exists for the patient to deny the emergency, often with fatal consequences. It is common for patients to delay mammograms or other tests because of a fear of cancer, even though this is clearly maladaptive.”
.
Types of Denial include now Denial of fact: This form of denial is where someone avoids a fact by lying. This lying can take the form of an outright falsehood (commission), leaving out certain details in order to tailor a story (omission), This form of denial involves avoiding personal responsibility by blaming, minimizing or justifying. Denial of responsibility: Denial of impact: avoiding thinking about or understanding the harms their behavior have caused to themselves or others. Denial of awareness: they do not admit any previous awareness of the negative reality. Denial of cycle: Denial of cycle is where a person avoids looking at their decisions leading up to an event or does not consider their pattern of decision making and how harmful behavior is repeated. Denial of denial: This latter form of denial typically overlaps with all of the other forms of denial, but involves more self-delusion. People in a false denial are really nuts, delusional..
.
There are tools and practices that we can implement to overcome the psychological trap of anyone’s false denial. The Public exposure and prosecution of the guilty is one of the best approach serving everyone’s best interest too.

Only at elections time it seems the citizens count

0liars-abusers

We seem to get tidbits of citizen concern  information out of Ottawa, STILL EVEN from the Conservative Harper government,  mostly merely when it  is near the election times, when it seems we only count and they now more seriously  do want to get our votes..

.

Even Prime Minister Stephen Harper by his approaches, objectives, commitments, seems to be trying to reassure firstly his selected elements in his base thus to be assured of their support and votes and too often. “It’s all about winning votes” No I do not think that Trudeau is or will be any better as well.. “ but Harper is so focused on winning votes of particular groups, he does not seem to realize  that winning votes in one group may cancel out votes in another group. How about a leader who is looking at the big picture, like an economy that works for everybody, like a clean environment that benefits everybody, like a justice system that treats everyone fairly? That’s what I’ll vote for.”

.

And what about a leader that actually keeps his past election promises? of transparency, accountability and much more?  Even Stephen Harper has not been great at that as well..

.

IF THE NEW CONSERVATIVE  MINISTERS  AND PRIME MINISTER STEPHEN HARPER NOW  ARE LIARS  AND YOU CANNOT TRUST THEM TO TELL THE TRUTH  MOSTLY THEN WHAT OTHER  MINISTERS  CAN YOU PRESENTLY TRUST?

.

Now why are the clearly foolish Canadian  justice ministers, cops, so foolish still  that they do now even think that they can turn the clock backwards and continue again doing the very same bad things now that they all have even been exposed for what they really are world wide even.. they are bad people who abuse citizens and obstruct justice and do need to be put into prison themselves.

As if the oil downturn, recession is not enough for Alberta

alberta

The Canadian Food Inspection Agency confirmed on Friday that it had found a case of bovine spongiform encephalopathy (BSE), also known as mad cow disease, in a beef cow in Alberta.  BSE — a progressive, fatal neurological disease — is believed to be spread when cattle eat protein rendered from the brains and spines of infected cattle or sheep. Canada banned that practice in 1997.  Exports of Canadian beef were repeatedly  badly hit in 2003 after the first case of BSE was found on a farm. A fresh discovery of BSE may close borders to Canadian beef and reduce the price of beef for Canadian Consumers again.

.

The  scenario that’s unfolded in Alberta in the past month is frightening .  The drop in oil prices has hit Alberta like a bomb. Few saw it coming.   A long-term over supply means “the new equilibrium price of oil will likely be much lower than over the past decade.”  So the news out of the oil towers in downtown Calgary, Edmonton gets worse every day. Everything from employment to local real estate markets are starting to  seriuosly suffer. Job losses in the Alberta oil patch have become almost daily events in oil patch and are even mounting  as the oil price collapse is pushing the past-vibrant Alberta economy into a dramatic downward spiral,  meaning more than 60,000 lost jobs . The Alberta  Government is facing $21-billion resource revenue shortfall over three years. Finance Minister, Robin Campbell, announced the upcoming budget will have a 9 per cent cut in program spending. In addition, the province will cut five per cent across the board, which will mean a $2.2-billion reduction in overall spending, year over year.  Likely nothing, including health care and education, is considered  untouchable.  “They’re destroying business confidence by threatening to tax anything that moves — tax on sugar, tax on gas, Alberta health-care premiums, and raising our 10-per-cent flat tax rate.”  Alberta’s premier Jim Prentice has said public-sector unions must do their part in light of low oil prices, as he called the present wages for teachers, nurses and other civil servants unsustainable. The cities of Calgary and Edmonton, both of which  depend on significant cash infusions from the province, will likely have to put their dreams on hold for a long while. The budget cuts trigger outrage in Alberta.  ” The news was reminiscent of the mid-1990s when then-premier Ralph Klein — faced with a crippling, $20-billion debt — gutted parts of the provincial civic service, eliminating thousands of jobs. Grants to schools, hospitals, universities and municipalities were frozen. ”  People in other parts of the country are saying  Albertans have not resided in real world for some time.  Only now are there concerns about the Alberta’s poor as the spending reductions could have severe consequences for family, child and disability agencies that rely on government grants to pay staff and administer social services. The pain felt elsewhere in Canada  now in Alberta is real.

.

Never mind what the spin doctors will say about Alberta’s future, the  present home of Canada’s prime Mister Stephen Harper  as the present reality is  that Alberta is mainly an  oil and gas, tourists, dependent on its resource sector and  the province has long relied on both the economic activity and the direct revenue from royalties and land sales to underpin government budgets but now this bubble has burst again,  the Oil’s price plunge means a bumpy ride in  all  sales, the economy in Alberta.   ‘Oil Prices are not going to bounce back:’ Prentice gloomy about quick oil recovery. Oil’s price collapse sends shiver across Alberta’s real estate market. Home prices fall also  in Calgary as real estate chill deepens.  Sales are down 7.5 per cent versus a year ago, while the  new listings have   “gushed” 42 per cent higher.  The Bank of Canada’s decision this week to slash its trend-setting interest rate a quarter of a percentage point to 0.75 per cent will not help to pay the high home mortgages many have there. You also cannot borrow more money, or buy more when facing a job cut.  School fees in Alberta triple in five years.   The out-of-pocket cost of sending a child to public schools in Alberta nearly tripled in five years as boards became increasingly dependent on fees to meet their budgets, and the Edmonton police are focusing more energy on   property crimes which  have climbed significantly. There have been 23 break and enters, 28 thefts from vehicles, and 20 thefts of vehicles in the area during the first few weeks of 2015. That is double number of property crimes the neighbourhood experienced at the same time in 2014 .  “The fact that these school fees have increased during a period when this province had record revenues is just not fair to the average Alberta family,”

https://thenonconformer.wordpress.com/2015/01/24/once-again-alberta-heads-into-a-depression/

.

Alberta’s surprise recessions are not much of a surprise to the wise… for false pride still comes before a great fall.. lay off the too many abusive cops, bad city hall employees as well in Alberta and save the money now too. You have to be rather kind, nice to everyone, even the Albertans now too, cause you do not know to whom you will go begging for help next as well.  In reality History repeats itself.. remember the 1980’s. 2009-10 when in Alberta Jobs were lost, homes went into foreclosures, property values went down due the flood of homes for sale on the market. divorce increased. Sadly they in Alberta do not learn not the first, second or the third time. When they were rich, proud and arrogant the Conservative leaders of Alberta were too proud to heed to others, to take advice… but now that they are facing serious ,drastic economic downturn they merely pretend they are ready to listen.. and how long will that next last? Instead of saving , planning effectively for a rain days the politicians of Alberta were living high on the hog, spending the citizens money, and not really caring about the citizens own good welfare. ” The Alberta government didn’t have a plan unless you consider shovelling money out the back door as fast as it came in the front to be a plan. “Making use of the revenues” meant spending the revenues. When times were good it outspent every other province in the country on a per-capita basis. It may have been a Conservative government in name, but its spending was liberal, in every sense of the word. Many Albertans told them to save more, even the Liberals. It might be hard for many Canadians, particularly in hard-hit Ontario, to feel much sympathy for this western province. After all, there was a distinct cockiness in the way “The New West” asserted its newfound position of fiscal superiority this decade over Central Canada in particular.” They had often rubbed it all proudly in our face, Alberta’s wealth, it’s importance, no taxes, a great future, and what ever before that.. Because too many Albertans were openly bashing the poor people for decades as well, now they too do have to walk in a poor man’s shoes themselves.. I REMEMBER WHEN MANY ARROGANT ALBERTANS, POLITICIANS USED TO FALSELY BOAST ON THE NET ABOUT THEIR PROSPERITY.. and I would reply they need to be really now more considerate of the poor people and the rest of Canada for they too will ONE DAY be on social aid, EVEN asking other Canadians to help them.. it is funny how reality comes to pass with time even in Alberta.

The OIL PRICE DROPS impacts are spreading across the economy, which the arrogant government of Prime Minister Stephen Harper has held up as being a huge beneficiary of energy-sector expansion. Alberta and other provinces reaped major financial rewards as the industry plowed tens of billions of dollars into operations and hired armies of workers as oil boomed. No more!  “The oil downturn is also complicating Ottawa’s finances as the federal government prepares a pre-election budget , the price collapse prompted the government to delay its 2015 budget. The Finance Minister Joe Oliver’s Nov. 12 economic update projected a $1.9-billion (Canadian) surplus for the coming year based on an assumption of $81 (U.S.) oil. Since then, the Bank of Canada has opted to use $55 oil for its forecasts, and earlier economic projections of a significant rebound in prices this year have evaporated in recent weeks.” The country’s largest private mortgage insurer Genworth MI Canada Inc.,  says it expects rising losses on its portfolio of Alberta mortgages this year.  The Alberta mortgages in the last two years,  borrowers tended to have relatively high loan-to-value ratio, with equity averaging just 16 per cent in 2013 and 9 per cent in 2014, due to slow home price appreciation and borrowers paying off less of the principal on their mortgages in those years, the company had  said. Genworth Canada’s own stock has plummeted 25 per cent since November.

.

IT IS UNDERSTANDABLE THAT THE BAD GUYS DO NOT LIKE THE TABLE TURNED AGAINST THEM.. TO BAD FOR THEM.. I LIVED IN ALBERTA FOR 15 YEARS AND I SAW THAT THEY THEY HAD FALSELY REFUSED TO SEE THE HAND WRITING ON THE WALL.. TOO OFTEN TOO.

.

(Mat 7:3 KJV)  And why beholdest thou the mote that is in thy brother’s eye, but considerest not the beam that is in thine own eye? 4  Or how wilt thou say to thy brother, Let me pull out the mote out of thine eye; and, behold, a beam is in thine own eye? 5  Thou hypocrite, first cast out the beam out of thine own eye; and then shalt thou see clearly to cast out the mote out of thy brother’s eye.

Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap. Galatians 6:7

.

In the last 10 years, crime rates have fallen roughly 27 per cent but costs have risen 44 per cent in policing and 33 per cent in corrections. Our prisoner population has managed to stay constant.  Is that a paradox? Or is that because those in the system are smart enough to ensure they all keep working and our prisons remain full, even though there are far fewer crimes. Also the report notes “the most embarrassing lacunae in Canadian data” is the lack of useful information on our courts — “we have no systemic way of assessing whether the courts are getting more or less effective in dealing with the cases that they see, let alone understanding how much as a society we are paying. For a developed nation, this is disappointing to say the least … How bad is it?”  It’s appalling — even mischief cases take more than half a year on average to process.  First Nations represent about four per cent of the population but more and more of them are being imprisoned — from 13 per cent of the offenders in custody in 1998 to 20 per cent a decade later. In Saskatchewan, 80 per cent of inmates are native. In Manitoba it’s 70 per cent, in (Racists) Alberta 40 per cent.In those three provinces, aboriginal people also are least likely to be given probation or conditional sentences. That is a major scandal that demands investigation..  http://www.vancouversun.com/Mulgrew+Cost+crime+rises+crime+rate+falls/10296393/story.html

Exemplary Public exposure and prosecution of the guilty serves very ones best interest… too often still missing in the PROFESSIONAL BODIES, EVEN IN THE RCMP, police   forces, churches, ALL GOVERNMENTS  as well it seems too.

Canada’s revenue agency is not just a tax collector, but also as a criminal investigator.

MESSIANCS

If you are worried about the Canadian government keeping a secret file on you, stop worrying it has been doing that for decades by various means, in various places. Such as the Post Office.

.

OTTAWA — The federal revenue agency can now hand the police possible evidence of serious crime — including terrorist activity — that it happens to come across while reviewing taxpayer files. The Canada Revenue Agency gained the little-noticed new authority, which does not require a judicial warrant, through an amendment tucked into the government’s most recent omnibus budget bill. Previously, confidentiality provisions in the law prevented the agency from handing information about suspected wrongdoing, on its own initiative, to law enforcement. The exception was information that pointed to tax-related crimes.  The new provisions apply to offences including breaking and entering, vehicle theft, arson, corruption and kidnapping. They also allow authorities to pass along information about any offence with a minimum prison term, or one with a maximum sentence of 14 years. The list of offences is disturbingly broad and amounts to a fundamental change in allowing the agency to hand information to police without a court-ordered warrant — even when the alleged crimes have nothing to do with taxes

http://www.ctvnews.ca/politics/cra-has-new-mandate-to-fight-crime-by-passing-suspect-info-to-police-1.2226319

.

If you are worried about Revenue Canada’s effectiveness too, stop here too, they are not even capable to catch most of the people working under the table and not paying taxes even.

https://thenonconformer.wordpress.com/2011/04/21/building-cleaner-at-our-prime-ministers-residence-allegedly-did-not-pay-taxes-she-was-paid-under-the-table/

Quebec too has always wrongfully been soft on what collared abuses, crimes.

Everyone can and should be held accountable even for their acts and their words now too.. no matter who you are too.  Accountability needs to start with the politicians, civil and public servants firstly and not just the ordinary folks..  And do not forget the Federal Conservatives. You know, the people who had  claimed many years ago they were going to clean up Ottawa and end entitlements and misspending and were going to show us all a better way.. and now next  they did the same bad thing as all the others.. they even falsely still refuse to be accountiable for their expense accounts .. they clearly also  now have  much too many unacceptable liars still. We all tend to know by now that the crooks on their own do falsely  deny any guilt or wrong doings now  too. Water unrestrained runs down hill, so do self supervised Professionals, Doctors, Nurses, Cops, Mayors, Civil and Public Servants, RCMP,  Business persons  now too..  and self supervision does not work as  it tends to be only masturbation and not the real thing still too. The existing justice system has been the subject of persistent criticism from those who charge  that even the police are biased in favour of their fellow officers, establishment  and there is no  guarantee of impartiality, fairness. Civil liberty groups, student federations and social, human rights  activists have been rightfully calling even for an open,  full public inquiry into what they call excessive force against the Quebec Students by the police last spring and summer. An estimated 3,000 people were arrested or abused  during more than four months of widespread Quebec protests, social unrest. The other unacceptable Malaise of sweeping refuse, shit under the rug.. the civil servant managers serious, personal failure to deal with ther unacceptable, crooked, dishonest, thieving subordinates rather than disposing of them, firing them, putting then into the garbage bins is still needed as some people only learn to do good the hard way, when they feel real negative repercussions. I strongly suggest we get rid of these bad managers, firstly, immediately, all bad cops included..

A suspicious number of federal contracts for goods and services appear rigged to favour one bidder, suggests another  survey. The report, from the contracting watchdog at Public Works, provides further evidence of problems even with the Harper government’s credibility.. Blocked investigation into Alberta’s tailings ponds

oil-sands

Canada has blocked an investigation into Alberta’s tailings ponds by NAFTA’s environmental watchdog.

.

“It shows that the Canadian government is willing to circumvent institutions that make sure Canada upholds environmental laws.”

.

It’s the third time in a year Canada has successfully stopped NAFTA’s scrutiny of its environmental behaviour.

.

Two environmental groups and three private citizens had asked the commission to investigate whether tailings ponds were leaking into nearby rivers and creeks in northern Alberta.

.

In 2014, with Mexico’s support, it stopped investigations into polar bear protection and B.C. salmon farms.

http://www.cbc.ca/news/politics/nafta-probe-of-alberta-s-tailings-ponds-blocked-by-canada-1.2935004

.

And “Canada, the oil sands’ poor image isn’t just a question of bad PR.  Anti-oil sands sentiment has made it nearly impossible to build the necessary pipeline connections producers need to get all that oil to market. TransCanada Corp.’s crossborder Keystone XL pipeline is in danger of being axed by U.S. President Barack Obama. The industry’s backup plan, Enbridge Inc.’s Northern Gateway pipeline to shipping terminals on the B.C. coast, has become bogged down in political and environmental controversy. Even TransCanada’s Energy East proposal, a sort of backup for the backup, has encountered unexpected political resistance in Ontario and Quebec—two provinces the diluted bitumen must transit through on its way to refineries in New Brunswick.”

.

” Alberta’s oilsands produce more greenhouse gas emissions than some European countries right now and will produce more than all of the world’s volcanoes in just 11 years if the pace of development continues, a new report says.  People will post 1001 excuses justifying this disaster.  http://www.cbc.ca/canada/story/2009/09/13/greenpeace-oilsands.html until it is too late to do anything about it..Remember Chernobyl”
.

SADLY ECONOMICS DO CONTROL THE VIABILITY OF CANADA’S OIL SANDS PROJECTS.  Economics alone   SHOULD NOT now  control the direct oil sand extraction  process, engineering as well and also now not all firms are equally environmentally conscious, concerned so they all do now need to be better managed here, something that has falsely not been adequately done for sure so far.. and yes neither by the provincial or the federal governments HAVE DONE A GOOD JOB HERE. GREED AND PROFIT CANNOT BE ALLOWED TO OVER RULE SAFETY,  THE ENVIRONMENTAL ISSUES, etc

Canada’s big bad Telecom

bell

I saw Big Telecom’s army of lobbyists, eye to eye, at a hearing last week.

It was amazing and sickening to hear them argue that Canadians should be blocked from affordable Internet access options.  They are powerful, but we have a new crucial opportunity to fight back. Josh Tabish  OpenMedia

.

Big Telecom plans to use a crucial, rapidly-approaching hearing  to kill indie Internet services in Canada. If successful, they’ll be able to block you from companies offering affordable, next-generation Internet services, and continue to price-gouge Canadians

.

We’re facing a situation where, soon, your only choice could be between price-gouging Big Telecom giants – an unbelievable power grab for Big Telecom.

.

We know that Canadians pay some of the highest prices in the world for some of the worst Internet service.  And a big part this is because Big Telecom has been given gatekeeper powers before…

…a nd abused them.

https://openmedia.org/powergrab/

Net neutrality” has been built into the fabric of the Internet since its creation — but it is also a principle that we cannot take for granted.  We cannot allow Internet service providers (ISPs) to restrict the best access or to pick winners and losers in the online marketplace for services and ideas.   So the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) has to implement the strongest possible rules to protect net neutrality.” We cannot allow Internet service providers (ISPs) to restrict the best access or to pick winners and losers in the online marketplace for services and ideas,” “I believe the FCC should create a new set of rules protecting net neutrality and ensuring that neither the cable company nor the phone company will be able to act as a gatekeeper, restricting what you can do or see online.” Obama said in a statement released by the White House.  President Obama’s call for “net neutrality” – the notion that any and all content should be treated equally by Internet providers – should cause the Federal Communications Commission to regulate broadband service like a utility as a way to protect consumers’ ability to access all content without a threat of connectivity being throttled. Us President Obama called for prohibiting ISPs from blocking or deliberately slowing any legal content. His proposals also include a recommendation to mostly ban paid-for “fast-lane” access, in which a content provider refusing to pay extra would be subject to slower Internet transmission and to  reclassify consumer broadband Internet service and regulate it as if it’s a utility – like electricity and water – as many consumer advocacy groups have asked for a similar strategy to protect unfettered access.  The simple, common-sense  rules include:

  • No blocking.  If a consumer requests access to a website or service, and the content is legal, your ISP should not be permitted to block it.  That way, every player — not just those commercially affiliated with an ISP — gets a fair shot at your business.
  • No throttling.  Nor should ISPs be able to intentionally slow down some content or speed up others — through a process often called “throttling” — based on the type of service or your ISP’s preferences.
  • Increased transparency.  The connection between consumers and ISPs — the so-called “last mile” — is not the only place some sites might get special treatment. The  FCC to make full use of the transparency authorities the court recently upheld, and if necessary to apply net neutrality rules to points of interconnection between the ISP and the rest of the Internet.
  • No paid prioritization.  Simply put: No service should be stuck in a “slow lane” because it does not pay a fee.  That kind of gatekeeping would undermine the level playing field essential to the Internet’s growth.  An explicit ban on paid prioritization and any other restriction that has a similar effect.

The managers should be made to pay for their mismanagement and not the employees

1- quebec-flag

Now when it comes to the province of Quebec and the pensions of its municipal employees the most reasonable, practical solution to pay of the heavy debt in Quebec is for all the politicians and manager’s salary to be cut by 50 percent as well as their related pensions after all it was under their leaderships  that the debts have arisen… and not the employees, Notice that the Municipal managers are still giving themselves big raises ..  Top managers at the Montreal Transit Corporation, (MTC), or STM in French, are getting big raises for the 3rd straight year.  The average increase for this year was nearly four per cent and the average salary for the top dozen or so bosses is pegged at more than 200-thousand dollars while salaries have increased, but not the quality of service. The MTC’s own yearly report says metro service interruptions due to mechanical reasons soared more than 20 per cent last year over the year before.

.

The Workers are  not to blame for the Quebec pension problem:

.

Stealing from the employees pension fund to pay off the debts is immoral.

.

Municipal workers rightfully do stage rallies against Bill 3 as hearings on the immoral  legislation get underway.

.

Quebec, and  Quebec Premier Philippe Couillard,  is falsely trying to snatch back promised pension money by fiat through its proposed Bill 3 pension reform legislation, without the  legal process of bankruptcy. The bill would override existing contracts, and force a restructuring of some 216 different defined benefit pension plans in 1,100 municipalities across Quebec. The bill would give municipalities the power to suspend indexation of any workers retired as of Jan. 1, 2014.

.

FTQ’s secretary general Serge Cadieux said  “The government is focusing all its attention to the demands made by certain mayors without considering any other suggestions made by the unions representing salaried municipal workers,”

.

The Montreal Police Brotherhood said that police officers will have to double their pension contributions.  “There will be no police officer who will want to come to work in Montreal,” said the brotherhood’s president Yves Francoeur.

Can Bell do it’s job and provide me now their proper services?

Canadians can access broadband using either wire line or wireless facilities but in order to meet the high demands of cell phones, Canada’s major telecommunications firms and their subs they are  failing to deliver the capacities  as originally promised, Canada’s major telecommunications firms and their subs they are  not keeping their contractual obligations, are falsely  cutting back on internet capacity and speeds,  so all of this is still a major issue with Canada’s major telecommunications firms and their subs..  while  they advertise a certain speed but likely you next still only get half of it as they cap their downloads and speeds..
.
Sadly, as a recent survey indicates, 9-out-of-ten Canadians have no clue that their use of the Internet has been so heavily clipped by ‘market forces’: bandwidth caps, excess use charges, and restrictions on what people can and cannot do with their Internet connections in the major providers ‘acceptable user policies’.
.
In the old dial-up days the most a user could reasonably consume would be 56K, and that only under ideal circumstances. An ISP could service approximately 28 dial-up customers with a single T1 without oversubscribing, but since few customers continually used their maximum, oversubscribing was common, sometimes as much as 20 to 1. ISPs made money and users rarely saw congestion outside of their modems.; Broadband has changed all that. Now, a single broadband customer can consume a T1 all by him or herself. So they  major telecommunications firms and their subs next lie and claim that  Broadband has been a money losing proposition for just about every ISP there is, as deployment and support costs are huge and monthly income is small while  they profess to make vast, enormous  amount of money from their cell phone usages..However, by international comparative standards, investment in Canada has been weak, inadequate.   Yes the ISPs and Cell phones firms had  mostly  lied, misadvertised the services, oversubscribed so much they falsely and  routinely do slow next down  your connection and  that’s why it can work FINE at 4:00 am when 90% of people are in bed…
.
Acanac itself thus also  caps during the business day.. even because the ISP’s falsely had originally promised quite a bit but there’s still no real full  services from them making use of what they were trying to sell to us and partly because what they were, are also now selling is far from what would be needed for any significant customer. Creating “caps” is plain crap . It is a too easy way for them.
.
So many persons switched to cable where there is not the same  need to cap. (So to speak).  Bell’s own  recent comments about actual costs suggests that it relies on similar ranges to provide a best guess at cost per gigabyte. Yes there is no apparent link between the ‘excess usage charges’ that the dominant players are charging (i.e. from .50 cents per Gigabit (GB) to $5 per GB), and the cost of bandwidth. Experts peg the cost per gigabit as being anywhere between .01 cents and 10 cents. Even if we take the high end of this range, excess usage charges still entail an extortionate 500 to 5000 percent mark-up on costs. Canada stands alone in terms of the near universal use of ‘bandwidth caps’ and excess usage fees for Internet use. It is sadly immoral,  ludicrous  that Bell itself is is charging customers at least 10x more than the actual costs. Bell does fudge the costs numbers to support whatever self-serving claim they make.  It’s “free money” as far as they are concerned. Once established, it will be hard to remove. Especially since they can use such a scheme to constrain usage or eliminate competition.
.

Canadians are even paying more for  all communications services. Canada’s broadcast and telecom regulator has released new numbers on how much Canadians spend on communications services, revealing the total bill for the average household climbed to $191 per month last year.

http://www.theglobeandmail.com/report-on-business/canadians-paying-more-for-communications-services-crtc/article21130289/

.

The Federal Trade Commission says AT&T’s practice of slowing down the connection speeds of unlimited-data customers who tap excessive amounts of data is a failure to deliver on the promise of “unlimited.” As a result, the FTC on Tuesday filed a federal court complaint against AT&T, charging the wireless provider with misleading customers who signed up for an unlimited-data plan only to see their connection slowed in an industry process called “throttling. “AT&T promised its customers ‘unlimited’ data, and in many instances, it has failed to deliver on that promise,” . “The issue here is simple: ‘unlimited’ means unlimited.”  http://www.cnet.com/news/ftc-sues-at-t-for-limiting-speeds-on-unlimited-data-customers/

.

Consumers are being caught in the middle of greedy telecomm companies.. It’s the Telcomm companies who have rooked us all and laughing all the way the bank.

.

Bell  too now has made money not only by their too often unjustifiable  rates increase but also by their false extra billings. Bell is not at all known as a decent, moral company, holding to acceptable professionals standards, for that matter clearly too none of the major Canada telecommunication firms are, rather monetary greed has overtaken them all.. Bell often claimed that it was not making enough money but still became rich enough to buy CTV.. The Bell customer complaints still abound too.

.

When  I had agree to go into a contract with my internet provider at a fixed  fee, for specific services, including repairs, this is not an opportunity for the internet provider  Acanac next to  falsely, unscrupulously  try to shaft me with extra billing of 100 dollars to check my internal phone line, a fee that I  had already paid last year, and what they want me now to pay it every year too?  as it seems to be the common practice instead of rightfully offering me their past free promised  support services.

.

Now I have noticed that for years when it rains my internet services is crappy, slows down.. and recently my browsers have been very slow in loading, and I cannot even watch the news video at CTV news or at the National Post cause they cut out.. Now I have suspected the problem is squirrels, there are 6 in my back yard this week.. Note this also “ A Winnipeg man says squirrels are taking a bite out his telephone lines. James Mattson, who lives on Christie Road in south Winnipeg, said it’s been happening since last spring. “There’s something in that wire that the squirrels seem to snack on. What they’ll do is they’ll burrow into the outer core of the wire which is vinyl or plastic and then there’s bundles of wires inside and they’ll pick away at that,” he said.  James Mattson points to the telephone lines that squirrels have damaged near his home. (Jill Coubrough/CBC) Yes it’s impacting Mattson’s services. His phone, Internet. “It’s frustrating. It just keeps on happening and happening ,” he said, adding it’s happened nine times in two months. So squirrels damaging wires is a common industry problem. Deal with it.. and stop falsely lying, passing the buck as it being my problem solely.

Bell insistence that it needs proof that all of my own computer system has been first tested, falsely still treats me like me being computer illiterate..

Of course they have all been tested… why is it that the system slow downs only occur mostly on rainy days.. PS it does not rain in my house…

PS they still have yet to fix the problem

They claim they have to first replace the modem to see if it is the problem and then they will check the exterior phone lines.. Rubbish they replaced the modem now even 3 times and what next?? Still bad services..

my address and telephone number is the same as the one you bill me too.. Now quit stalling and fix the problems.. are you going to replace all the modems in my apartment building now too?? cause there is 4 of us at least with the same problems too..
 .
PS
Now many of us firsthand know how lousy Bell services is and thus now Acanac/Bell is no different!!! Such as relationship is rather  ludicrous, impossible. Buyer beware..
 .
and why was the Internet system down all last weekend? after the 3rd new modem was installed too..
as usual, my internet was down again since  Friday evening – Sept 19, with no email access, no internet.. Saturday, and Sunday too…
.

The system works great on a nice sunny day, but not when it rains, at least once a week. I had installed their new Modem and after all this I still have network connectivity problems, i lose the network connection periodically..

.
Now  the clearly immoral, buck passing employees at Acanac still do  find false reasons why not to deal with my rightful complaints to them even months later. Sept 24,2014…
 .
and if you think that I am going to renew my contract with Acanac, or recommend them to others you  better think twice.
.
Again as to how to make a complaint

Step 1 – Contact a customer service representative discuss any concerns you have about your service preferably not in writing cause most of them seem not to be able to read English.

If you’re not completely satisfied with the resolution at this step,   proceed to step 2.

Step 2 – Speak with a pretentious, useless in denial supervisor
If you’re not completely satisfied with the resolution provided at this step,   proceed to step 3.

Step 3 – Contact the pretentious  Customer Relations Centre and they will gladly  disconnect your services

Note: You must complete the first two steps of the escalation process to have your problem supposedly to be resolved in the most efficient manner for them, not yours..

Additional Useless steps

.

A – If you were not satisfied with the resolution provided in the previous steps, you may file a complaint with the Commissioner for Complaints for Telecommunications Services (CCTS). The CCTS is an agency independent of the telecommunications industry. Their mandate is to resolve complaints of individual and small business retail customers about their telecommunications services.
.
If you have a complaint about your services, including local or long distance phone service, mobile phone service or Internet service, you must try to resolve it with Bell before contacting the CCTS. If you have done so and have been unable to reach a satisfactory resolution, CCTS may be able to help you, free of charge.Learn more about CCTS at

B- Go public, posit it all on the Net.
“Absolutely horrible customer service, they are there to take your money and not provide any support at all.   “  ”  Speed is not stable and tech support is very slow. I’ve used Acanac for more than 5 years, rarely have issue with them but once there’s one, it takes weeks to resolve it. very disappointing.”  “ STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!!!!!! This is the worse service I have ever been given in my life.” “ But the customer service is really disappointing.   “  “. Speed has been on the slow to very slow side and I have had my connection lost completely 3 times.   “   “ I used this service for almost 3 years, and wana say that Acanac service becomes the worse and worse, so I cancelled my contract with it. Reasons: 1. Low speed, 2.I didn’t have the entrance to the Internet during several hours almost every day for the last half year. 3. When I tried to reach their technical support service it was a real headache for me. I think they simply ignored my request, but they answering me immediately when I sent the cancelation notice to them. I have to state that Acanac doesn’t care about it’s customers.  “  “  -Service was good, until your service slows or or stops working and you have to reach out for help.  “  “  Finally get useless support email 16 hours after sending in my ticket suggesting I check the cable to the demarc etc etc. Issues continued for a week, customer service never improved. “ “  absolutely terrible customer service. “ “ Acanac has made my life a living hell. Telephone wait times are 45-50 minutes if it is your lucky day or no one answers. Even if someone answers you will quickly realise the guy has no clue or has no inclination to help you. Once the guy was dumb enough to ask me “why did you not send us an email?” Duh!!! I do not have internet?!!! SO PLEASE, PLEASE BE WITHOUT AN INTERNET THAN SIGNING UP WITH THIS COMPANY. THEY ARE HORRIBLE. “  “ However, when you need technical support, you could be put on the phone waiting for hours..  “   Much is promised when inquiring by their sales people, however tech support is non-existent. DO NOT USE UNLESS YOU ENJOY SUFFERING. Tech response is hidden behind a very primitive email service.   DSL connection speed is no better than dial up. “  “Internet goes down at least 4- 6 times a year. You have to call them to get good customer service. Their email and text service is the worst, specially the email response is just a copy and paste , they don’t even read what your problem is.” “  After 2 years, I have had enough – Never again, and I will make sure I tell as many people as I can to never give this company any business “  http://www.canadianisp.ca/cgi-bin/isp_comment_totals.cgi?f=Comments&ispid=52
.
Let me be clear that the assigned personnel at the CCTS are also technically incompetent, likely, clearly  another typical useless buck passing  government employee who cannot likely find  a real job in the private sector.. Months after I  had filed my original complaints, they phone back to me and ask the same useless questions am I familiar with their  own review process.. so how can I be familiar with their review process when 2 separate persons have phoned me in the last 3 months said they were reviewing my full original complaints and none have ever yet come back with a single credible fact, find, report.. these CCTS people doing the report even still now falsely seem to want me or prepare a full report myself, with a  full detailed backup so they can rubber stamp it next merely..  she wants more information from me Cause my past writings to them are too long to read she said, to review CCTS  said.. how all absurd.  Useless  CCTS personnel  just like those at Acanac. Acanac useless solution to deal with my internet problem was to uselessly replace the modem 3 times even..
 .
CCTS do note that my original contract with ACANAC paid for my MasterCard as well as the terms of agreements are all there with Acanac and so also also all of my last up letters of complaints to accent about their poor services and their poor Reponses. The undeniable obvious evidence  that my internet speed has been capped is there too.

What at the Prime Minister Stephen Harper’s residence ?

alcohol-10a

OTTAWA – An intoxicated 18-year-old woman was taken to hospital early Sunday morning, Easter Morning,  after she was found on the driveway at 24 Sussex Dr. The RCMP say paramedics were called to the prime minister’s official residence on the weekend in response to a medical call. The call came in the “early morning hours” of Sunday, April 20. So the woman had been attending a party at 24 Sussex that night?

Report says underage woman treated for potential alcohol poisoning

The Prime Minister Stephen Harper had   professed to be an evangelical Christian, and evangelical Christians they do not serve or drink Alcohol..

The Prime Minister’s Office refused to state whether Stephen or Laureen Harper were present during the party, and whether this was a celebration of Ben’s 18th birthday.

Look how many of the Canadian News Media lies and spins the story, many try to say that the girl was not in the Home, residence.. but  the RCMP guards the gate to the property so they knew she was there.. so  is this how the Prime Minister’s Christian family celebrates Easter, having a drunken orgy?

Does MP Dian Ablonczy also drink alcohol? She is a professing Christian evangelical now too.. do other evangelical Conservatives MPs drink Alcohol?

.

Want to know why Harper appointed so many bad senators too? He often had initial meetings with them at the Happy hour, bar

QUEBEC DOES NOT WANT TO SEPARATE FROM CANADA

1-canada-quebec-flag

RECENT PROVINCIAL AND FDERAL ELECTIONS HAVE CONFIRMED THAT QUEBEC DOES NOT WANT TO SEPERATE FROM CANADA. Both the federal and the provincial separatist parties have been decimated, removed from Power and both leaders even lost their own ridings seat. The federal Gilles Duceppe and  the provincial Pauline Marois. The Quebec separatist vote crumbled, to the benefit of the NDP Party and  Couillard’s Quebec Liberals. PQ loses power after only 18 months in office

Nineteen months after they were ousted from power, the Liberals in Quebec will form the province’s next majority government. The Quebec Liberals won Monday’s provincial election with a majority government is a devastating blow to the sovereignty movement. With most polls reporting, the Liberals had won some 70 of the 125 seats up for grabs, compared with 30 for the PQ and about 20 for the third-placed Coalition for Quebec’s Future.  Parti Québécois leader Pauline Marois, after leading her party to a crushing defeat and losing her own seat in Roberval, announced late Monday that she was resigning her post.

“To avoid a repeat of 2007, the PQ launched its Charter of Values proposal. It was a bid to reclaim the conservative francophone electorate outside Montreal. For a while last year, the charter put Mr. Couillard in an awkward spot, as the Liberal leader was unable to unite his caucus and struggled to define a clear position. However, the charter appears now to have backfired on the PQ. The PQ’s use of the charter might have been a case of dabbling in wedge politics in the worst possible way. Québec solidaire spokesperson Françoise David was re-elected in the riding of Gouin, defeating controversial PQ candidate Louise Mailloux, who had been accused of being anti-Semitic because of her belief that kosher and halal certifications were hidden religious taxes. ” 2014 Quebec election

Is it still important that Philippe Couillard’s seems to be BFFs with Arthur Porter, the disgraced McGill University Health Centre director, who is currently sitting in a Panamanian prison in connection to an alleged $22.5-million kickback scheme at the MUHC?

The Unseen elephant in the room.. what to do with the elderly?

canada-seniors-abuse1
Financially subsidising a relative who looks after a parent is a good idea, less costly too over an old age home.
.
At the present time in the province of Quebec even there is room for one in eight seniors that need to be placed in an old age homes, seniors who can no longer look after themselves and their family refuses to do so ..
.
On top of that there is not enough existing staff to look after the seniors in the old age homes.. Doctors and Nurses included.. Seniors tend to be more ill, sicker, need more nursing care, more distribution of  pills, more looking after, more bed linen changing too,  and a ratio of one nurse to 40 senior patients is totally inadequate.. never mind if they have seriously ill patients.. and forget any care during the night even..
.
So what is the government best proposed solution on this matter.. Euthanasia, kill them.. especially if no family members object and no family members visit them for two weeks.. you just stop feeding them and stop giving them any water and they will be dead within 5 days..
.
MONTREAL — Seniors who need health care but do not want to be institutionalized will soon have the means to be looked after at home, Quebec Health Minister Réjean Hébert said But it is not proven to work yet even.. Critics say the bill opens the door to private-for-profit companies rather than through the public network..   http://www.newswire.ca/en/story/1277885/quebec-s-self-insurance-approach-to-home-support-expands-options-for-seniors
