NATO and Russia are on the brink of a new Cold War, Canada is out of the frying pan into the fire. NATO and the U.S. are the enemy and Russia must be ready for attack. NATO is upset over Russia annexations of Crimea , a prime Russian Military base, so Vladimir Putin is already being turned into the new Hitler, as Canada sends scarce troops to Poland and Estonia. This is supposedly in response to a ‘Russian threat’ to these countries for which there is no actual evidence, Russia has denied any such intentions, and instead has accused NATO of instigating the current standoff by expanding into former Soviet territory and trying to undermine its sphere of influence. It has also warned against any military build-up on its borders. Russian President Vladimir Putin said Moscow is willing to co-operate with NATO, even though he said the alliance is treating Russia like an enemy. There is absolutely nothing to suggest that Russia had ever wanted to expand beyond its national neighborhood and subdue any territory within Western Europe up to the Atlantic Ocean. Problems with Russia only occur when a foreign power encroaches upon its neighboring areas. Interference into Russia’s geopolitical neighborhood was exactly what Western Europe, with the help of the US, has been largely practicing since the fall of the Berlin Wall in 1989 and the collapse of the Soviet Union in 1991.

The latest Russian nuclear-powered submarine is so quiet it’s known as the Black Hole, and one of them spent an entire month patrolling the US coasts without the US Navy aware of its presence. These super stealthy subs can strike at US targets without much risk. Russian defense circles are sure of conventional and nuclear superiority on sea and land. And the Pentagon knows it. Russia would reduce NATO forces to smithereens in a matter of hours. And then would come Washington’s stark choice: accept ignominious defeat or escalate to tactical nuclear weapons. The Pentagon knows that Russia has the air and missile defense capabilities to counter anything NATO’s non-stop Russia demonizing is in fact quaint. Think about NATO picking a fight against the constantly evolving, complex Russia-China strategic partnership.

Russian military is a highly potent force. As it has exhibited in power plays in Syria, Crimea and Ukraine, Russia can take on the combined forces of NATO without working up a sweat. Similarly, China and India are capable of defending their respective territories and interests. Both are nuclear armed and have powerful naval fleets that can blast American gunboat diplomacy right out of the water. China is also facing encirclement. Washington is ramping up naval activity in the Pacific and also pouring its forces into Australia – aimed squarely at Beijing. However, Beijing doesn’t face the kind of existential threat as Moscow.

After liberating Western Europe in 1945, the United Kingdom and the United States decide to recast it, by creating the United States of Europe. American foreign policy does deserve to be challenged and debated vigorously. America is not God. Wars are the mother and father of atrocities, and one day they will come home to North America , if they keep launching them against others. Americans are loosing the lead. Their global domination today in fact is melting. America’s elites already have failed and disappointed the world. That is, the goal of the United States , Great Britain NATO – to pin down, and even to crush Russia, as they do with those smaller countries that try to resist. That’s all: the goal of global West is to stop the independent foreign policy of Russia. The Western powers have launched provocative military; “exercises” that cannot be seen by the Russians as anything other than a dress rehearsal for war – and the Kremlin has reacted accordingly.

Russia’s Foreign Ministry lambastes the “demonization” of Russia. The American authorities continue the unacceptable practice of “hunting” for Russians all over the world, ignoring the norms of international laws and twisting other states’ arms,” the ministry said.
