SNC-Lavalin is accused of paying nearly $48 million to public officials in Libya between 2001 and 2011 to influence government decisions. The company is also accused of fraud and corruption for allegedly defrauding various Libyan organizations of roughly $130 million. The Liberals want to help SNC avoid full prosecution it seems.

He is next trying to compensate for his inadequacies, failures, guilt so he “works hard for praise and recognition” of those close to him, his family, friends and political allies and others ,  “He wants people to see him positively but not really know him in the public eye, thus “he really cares about the positive way he appears in public”.  All a very poor substitute to avoid facing his own negative realities that he is a loser.

My own real Canadian personal experiences has been that when politicians too are wrongfully hesitant to prosecute the crooks, they personally tend to be firstly protecting themselves, they are likely committing the same crimes, or their close friends, relatives now are.. sound familiar? and that is why they wrongfully hesitate to prosecute the others and this is still really unacceptable.. it next still makes me and many others take a closer look as to why the politicians now are hesitating to prosecute drunk drivers, drug users and pushers, bad cops , tax evaders, etc.,, and instead wrongfully firstly abuse the homeless, social welfare recipients, the poor persons, those most least able to speak out against it, to defend themselves

Some of the most immoral professionals I dealt with as an adult in my life in the last 35 years were pastors, lawyers and cops, accountants, politicians.. The police bar used to be be next door to the Calgary church that I went to for many years.. on Wednesday night the bar was full of drunken police officers.. how many drive home still drunk.. do we have a special police patrol outside of the police bars now too insure this law of no drunk driving now is being observed as well? By the way I am an abstainer. not that it matters. I never have touched the stuff..

Want to find out how really really crooked, abusive even many of the cops are do write a letter of complaints about the cops and they will visit you.. I only have had about 6 visits to my home so far from them in regard to my past letters of complaints to news editors, others, the police and others obstructing justice, and objecting to my letters and me next writing about their further unlawful use of their authority to try to suppress my freedom of speech firstly too. Never mind the pretentious police complaints board reviews. But I never accept their bad acts quietly next still.. I still let us all know the whole truth even on the radio, in public too. The faith is an ongoing battle,.. against wicked persons, demons, sicknesses, false accusers, pits, etc., and God can help us to overcome all of it, and he does for me.

Some of the problems we all seem to face are due to our own stupidity.. such as cancer caused by our eating processed meats, burnt food, alcohol consumption, smoking or diabetes caused by our by skipping meals, sugar excess, even our high cholesterol caused by eating fatty foods, and our lack of exercise, our being ignorant of what food is bad or good for us, plus over indulgence, Sadly many persons are too lazy. Too cheap, or fearful to go see a doctor when they need too as well.

Yes also ther hardships we encounter are caused by the much too many sinful other persons, the devil and his followers.

This warning to take God’s judgment seriously was prompted also by the reality of the Corinthian’s self-exaltation, which was manifested by sinful living, pride, divisions, self-satisfaction, and contempt for others and sexual sins too. In fact, things were so bad that God’s judgment had already begun, and some were experiencing illness and even death. Therefore, in response to the warning of God’s judgment upon those who eat of the bread and drink the cup of the Lord in an unworthy manner, and it all applies today as well

Medical services in Quebec is still crap

I got exceptional Rolls Royce Medical Services from the Cardiac Unit at the Montreal Hotel Dieux Hospital in the last year sadly this is rarely the case elsewhere.

 Why do I get   poor medical services else where still?

Medical services in Quebec is still crap including too many poor family Doctors, Dermatologists, Triages, and you can read all about it here for years mow too, just do a search on my site for CHARGE CARD HAPPY INCOMPETENT DOCTORS, DOCTORS, Health, Health Minister , Hospitals, MISDIAGNOSED SICKNESS.

To  date  I have visited many doctors,   dermatologists,  Triages as well about even an infection on my right foot and not one  of them  had diagnosed the cause.

I had to learn on the Internet the infection was caused by an ingrown  toe nail and when I went  to the Notre Dame hospital Triage to have it dealt with  the buck passing Doctor there  she next said I should go to my family doctor, one of those sad  incompetents too. She  said she was afraid to remove the toe nail as the infection  might get worse.

Doing nothing will make it worse as well

I had even waited months too have an appointment date to see some of these incompetent doctors.

You can easily get sick when you visit a Hospital and most people do and they do not know why? Not all sicknesses are due to Doctor’s diagnostic errors, Medical malpractices or bad medication substitutes by the Pharmacists.

The Quebec government spent millions of dollars building now a new 772 bedroom CHUM St Luc hospital and yet their Emergency services are worse now than before even. The Emergency department accepts about 3 patients every hour, and has at least 30 patients wanting to get seen by a Doctor.  Quebec’s pretentious FREE medical services

DSL ISPs still lie about providing advertised high speeds.

The truth is that the DSL providers, Bell included,  for decades now too often provide their  minimum speed and not their advertised high speeds and why as it is all still downright unacceptable ?

The Internet has become an   essential tool for every consumer in the digital age. The public deserves better from the providers, truth in their advertising even still.

Undeniably the DSL still can’t provide promised speeds profitably.

The median speeds provided by cable and fiber networks are still generally at least 100 percent of their advertised speeds. But DSL networks   still aren’t providing the “up to” speeds they promise to consumers., the promised download speeds.

“DSL shortcomings aren’t a surprise, as speeds over copper degrade with distance, so homes farther from a DSL provider’s plant get lower speeds. DSL ISPs can boost speeds by laying fiber deeper into their networks, reducing the distance that data must travel over the old copper telephone lines. But also  the providers’ continued poor performance indicates that they haven’t added enough fiber to their networks to eliminate the discrepancy between advertised and actual speeds.

So instead of advertising “up-to” rates like other DSL providers, many of them to the   ignorant consumers  “advertises a speed range for DSL performance and often meets the minimum advertised speeds but didn’t provide the maximum speeds they had  promised.

Canada’s health care system

When speaking to one of the experts used by The New York Times in the study,   an  analysis conducted by The New York Times that pitted the health care services of countries against each other in a formal competition found Canada to be a major loser,   the National Post reported that Canada’s super-long wait times were the reason why the nation’s health care system did so poorly in the competition.

Long wait times have become the defining characteristic of Canadian health care.

The medical expert said only 43% of Canadians are actually seeing a medical professional on the same day they seek help, half of Canadians wait 2+ in emergency rooms, and the wait time to see a specialist is 2-3 months.

Canada’s health care system doesn’t leave us wanting so much as it leaves us waiting. The wait to see a doctor in the ER may stretch for hours, but if you need to be admitted to hospital, it can jump to days. The wait for home care services often stretches for months, and a patient needing a long-term care bed can languish in limbo for years.

Canadian patients   frustrated by long wait times – too often  go to the United States, other places for diagnostic and surgical procedures. and they are giving profits to other  hospitals and reducing employment to Canadian   health professionals.

The real challenge we have is not waiting times. It is more fundamental: It is better management of our hospitals, physicians, medical professionals. We should  be using our medical resources much more efficiently.  More air traffic control is needed,  not just more money. The health care system, like any industry, has a natural resistance to change, so what? Everyone deserves timely, quality care. There are proven steps we can take to shorten wait times for care, and they must be taken immediately.

Canada has more physicians, in absolute numbers and per capita, than ever before, with seemingly little impact on access.   And we under use nurse practitioners, occupational therapists and the like . For a start our physicians  should all be  required to work a minimum of  30 hours per week.

Too many Canadian operating rooms, medical treatments are closed for prolonged periods over Christmas, spring break, and in the summer as doctors like  to work 9 to 5 hours, and take holidays at the same time as many others, thus Hospitals or under utilized and wait times therefore continue to increase, to be unresolved. A medical patient with a severe illness this week called his doctor for medical help and was told the doctor was going on his vacation.

Too many Canadian surgeons considered themselves under-employed, and they cited poor access to operating rooms. All operating rooms should run on a 24/7 basis as well.

“Too many long-term care and nursing home beds are full and as a result, thousands of patients who no longer need serious medical care can’t leave hospital. Because these patients are not discharged and beds are scarce, elective surgeries are cancelled, and those waiting for admission spend days on gurneys in the ER. The congestion this causes means that ambulances sometimes can’t off-load patients. Providing care to those in hallways slows provision of care to those in the waiting room. And many of the patients in the waiting room are there because they are unable to see their doctor promptly. ”

The answer is simple, but profoundly frustrating. It’s because Hospitals, physicians  medical policies have not changed. Of course, there are those heartless persons who falsely choose to ignore the plight of Canadian patients.

Sadly most oral health care is exempt from provincial and territorial health-care plans (some dental services are covered by government dental programs, but working-class people lacking employer coverage are on their own).  It’s also a glaring omission that’s both illogical and a public-health concern. We know that periodontal disease affects heart health; that an untreated tooth infection can be fatal; that mouth pain can lead to drug addiction and force people to stay home from work; that dentists and dental hygienists can spot precancerous or cancerous lesions, as well as diabetes and gastroesophageal reflux disease; and that hospital emergency rooms are flooded with people with untreated dental problems.

For the last 2 decades, every time I called the Police in Montreal , they first tell me they are really busy and cannot come shortly and when they do come they find false  reasons why it  is not their job, they pass the buck, and say that is the courts jurisdiction, that is  your Bank Manager'”s. Rental Board concern, your property manager’s  problem, etc, including even my complaints  my identity theft, phone harassments, etc,

The RCMP, Montreal police and Sûreté du Québec have allegedly become reluctant to investigate stolen vehicles found by Canada Border Services Agency officers at the port of Montreal, effectively allowing them to be exported overseas by crimes group., as the   police have argued  that costly, time-consuming investigations   and they had more pressing priorities. The Service de Police de la Ville de Montréal said the RCMP was responsible for investigating federal crimes at the port.

The Cost of substance use in Canada tops $38 billion, with booze and tobacco presently on top.with a staggering toll of 67,515 deaths. According also to  other researchers, roughly 20 per cent of all violent crime would not have occurred if the perpetrator was not under the influence of or seeking alcohol. Alcohol ‘directly causes’ seven forms of cancer. The rate of women who died from causes linked directly to alcohol has increased by 26 per cent since 2001, compared with a roughly five per cent increase over the same period for men, according to Canadian Institute for Health Information. And more Canadian women are drinking to the point where they end up in hospital, or even die from it. These numbers only include conditions like chronic alcohol use disorder, withdrawal delirium, cirrhosis, acute pancreatitis and extreme intoxication – not conditions that alcohol is a risk factor for. And although they consume less, alcohol affects women negatively more. Each dose of alcohol is more damaging in terms of things like liver damage as well as simple intoxication.  More than 25,000 woman had alcohol-related hospitalizations in 2016-2017, nearly a three per cent increase from prior last year. The figures also show that in 2015 there were more than 3,000 deaths caused by alcohol in Canada, compared to 2,066 deaths caused by motor-vehicle accidents. Girls aged 10 to 19 have already closed the gap with boys. Women are drinking more heavily than in the past sadly.

Drinking alcohol has become a “normalized” part of life for the majority of Canadians, yet many don’t realize the potential health risks of downing wine, beer or spirits .  Mental health and addiction-related conditions were responsible for nearly 75 percent of those alcohol-related Canadian hospital stays. We all also tend to know how too many cops and others do often despise others, mock the skid row persons, native alcoholic, drunks and yet hypocritically they do the same thing, even their peers.. consuming a vast amount of alcohol and they cannot see what negative effect it has on their personal life. ALCOHOL IS  A  VICE AND NOT A NECESSITY.  These days you also so got to supervise daily even the politicians, even the civil and public servants  now as well, for it seems they will all run back quickly to their old tricks.. to their even bad habits of drunkenness, cheating, lying and stealing, and wrongfully next also they think they can get away with it. No man should adduce in favour of drinking wine unless he can prove that the wine Jesus made in the” water-pots” of Cana was just like the wine which he proposes to drink. There are ample Greek literary texts which negate the narrow definition of oinos as denoting only fermented wine as it did not have the taste or the intoxicating effect of ordinary wine, God did not make fermented juice.. New wine would be grape juice (or a grapeade) mode from grape syrup while old wine would be 2 to 3 years old Suffice it to say, the “better” wine of course does not in any way imply or demand a more alcoholic, or even an alcoholic, wine at all, there is not the slightest evidence that the word so used would have conveyed any idea but that of the pure juice of the grape,

John the Baptist did not drink wine or any other form of alcohol because Scripture prophesied that he wouldn’t (Luke 1:15). Most people don’t know where to draw the line between temperance and excess. Such people better abstain totally until they know they can “be temperate in all things.”

And the word used twice  for “good” wine is a Greek word which refers to something or someone morally excellent or intrinsically good, rather It was Christ who in the Old Testament gave the warning to Israel, that “Wine is a mocker,” so why would he make fermented grape juice? by creating alcoholic wine, Jesus would have been promoting drunkenness, which the Bible clearly identifies as sinful.

Next you will say Jesus would have also distributed Playboy magazines.

If Jesus made fermented wine, then the fact that the guests had become”well drunk” would have meant that Jesus endorsed excessive drinking. Therefore,either Jesus endorsed excessive drinking of alcohol or the wine was unfermented grape juice! Obviously, then, the wine that Jesus made was unfermented grape juice.

Too many have assumed that the Hebrew and Greek words translated as “wine” must have the same meaning that themodern usage meaning of the English word “wine” does. In the English language, the word “wine” originally was used to denote the juice of grapes, whether in a fermented or unfermented state. Long ago, of course, that word has taken on the usage meaning of only grape juice in its fermented state. That’s why today we distinguish the two drinks by using the terms “wine” and “grape juice.”

Exodus 12:15 and 13:7 forbid the very presenceof “leaven” anywhere in the homes during Passover. The New Testament–in Matthew 16:12 and I Corinthians 5:7-8–provide the explanation by declaring that leaven is a symbol of evil. Leaven is a yeast, so the leavening process is parallel to the process of fermentation. In the light of these facts,plus Jesus’ statement in the disputed passages that the “fruit of the vine”represented His own saving blood, we must surely conclude that the communion cup did, and should always, contain unfermented (ie., uncorrupted) grape juice. The following Old Testament texts show God’s disapproval of wine, as “yayin:” Genesis 9:21; 19:32; Leviticus10:9-11; Deuteronomy 32:33; Psalm 60:3; Proverbs 4:17; 20:1; 23:20, 29-35;31:4-5; Isaiah 5:11-12; 28:7; Ezekiel 44:21; and Hosea 7:5. Proverbs 23:31-35–Again, the very nature of fermented wine is categorically condemned as a “serpent” and an “adder” that bites and stings.

The Bible condemns the use itself of all alcoholic beverages and highly recommends unfermented grape juice!  The only exception to this consistent rule in Scripture is Proverbs 31: 6-7, which commands that alcoholic beverages be given to those who are dying or cowards.

The assumption made by proponents of the moderate use of alcoholic beverages that the ancient peoples did not know how to preserve the juice of the grape in an unfermented state, and that therefore, virtually every instance of wine mentioned in the Bible must be to fermented wine.This assumption is totally false as the ancient historical records are abundantly clear that there were several major methods of preserving grape juice in its natural, unfermented state.

Scriptures clearly teach that the very nature of alcoholic beverages is that which brings spiritual apostasy and otherwise affects the mind (and body too) of whomever drinks it. In other words, it is not excessive drinking only that the Bible condemns,but the beverage itself and its consumption in any amount. Since most people and Christians do not know or study the Bible today they are easily deceived.

As it is abundantly clear that the Bible condemns the use of alcohol in any amounts, Persons that are simply rationalizing what they want to do regardless of the facts or the consequences to their spiritual, or physical, natures are led to do so by the demons.

 True Christians graciously express what Bible believing Christians have believed about marriage and sexuality for 2000 years. God created humans to engage in sex only within the arrangement of marriage between a male and a female. (Genesis 1:27, 28;Leviticus 18:22; Proverbs 5:18, 19) The Bible condemns sexual activity that is not between a husband and wife, whether it is homosexual or heterosexual conduct. (1 Corinthians 6:18) The Bible straight-up says that homosexual behavior is an abomination. The New Testament plainly lists homosexuality right alongside lying (1 Timothy 1:10), robbing, being greedy, swindling (1 Corinthians 6:9), gossiping and committing murder (Romans 1:25). Any society that condones destructive, sinful behavior (as Scripture defines sin) is a society that will weaken and decline. When you engage in sexual activity outside of male-female marriage, it not only brings God’s judgment upon you but also brings about emotional harm (and sometimes physical harm or disease), regardless of whether it’s consensual, and regardless of whether the harm or the offense toward God is ever realized or acknowledged.  It is not sinful to be tempted. It’s sinful to yield. This truth about temptation applies to everyone, regardless of the sin.

The New Testament passages clearly upholds the sexual ethics of the Old Testament. Jesus  did condemn all forms of sexual immorality: What comes out of you is what defiles you. For from within, out of your hearts, come evil thoughts, sexual immorality, theft, murder, adultery, greed, malice, deceit, lewdness, envy, slander, arrogance and folly. All these evils come from inside and defile you. (  Mark 7:20-23)  Do you not know that the wicked will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: Neither the sexually immoral nor idolaters nor adulterers nor male prostitutes nor homosexual offenders nor thieves nor the greedy nor drunkards nor slanderers nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God. And that is what some of you were. But you were washed, you were sanctified, you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God. ( 1st Corinthians 6:9-11)  They exchanged the truth of God for a lie, and worshiped and served created things rather than the Creator– who is forever praised. Amen. Because of this, God gave them over to shameful lusts. Even their women exchanged natural relations for unnatural ones. In the same way the men also abandoned natural relations with women and were inflamed with lust for one another. Men committed indecent acts with other men, and received in themselves the due penalty for their perversion. ( Romans 1:25-27)

Any sexual intercourse between persons of the same sex that is prohibited by Bible teachings.  I do not expect lustful, sinful, gay persons to respect what the Bible says nevertheless is is God word, the whole Bible. I expect them to twist the Bible to support their immorality knowing that people “love darkness rather than light” (John 3:19). Some persons even some professing Christians are trying to argue these days from the Bible that homosexuality is an acceptable form of human relationship. They teach that same-sex “marriage” is just as holy and commendable as heterosexual marriage. This concerns many more than secular arguments because such an approach attempts to hijack the Bible and change the truth (which, by any sane definition, never changes) . The bad news for those who engage in homosexuality does not go away simply by the spurious claim that somehow the Church has “misunderstood” the bible texts for centuries. People who use the Bible to argue that accepting homosexuality is how we are to ‘love our neighbor’ wrongly omit the first half of what Jesus said in that context. Jesus actually said, “The great and first commandment is ‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind’” (Matthew 22:34-40). In other words, love for one’s neighbor is bounded by one’s primary allegiance to God. How can one claim to love God, yet despise what His Word says about homosexuality and disregard His design for marriage? At the core of the topic of human sexuality, as with all topics, is either a sound understanding of God or a flawed understanding of God, the Bible.  The Bible actually is quite clear and consistent, despite those who misinterpret it (2 Peter 3:16).

Jesus was unequivocal in saying that to understand marriage and the sexual union, we must go back to the beginning and see how God created humanity and to what end. (See Matthew 19 and Mark 10.) Sexual intimacy is not a right. Every Christian has limitations placed on his sexuality. For married Christians, it is exclusive to one’s spouse. For single, engaged, and divorced Christians, it is abstinence, no exceptions.

Therefore what God has joined together, let man not separate. (Matthew 19:6) Anyone who divorces his wife and marries another woman commits adultery against her. And if she divorces her husband and marries another man, she commits adultery. (Mark 10:11-12) If any brother has a wife who is not a believer and she is willing to live with him, he must not divorce her. And if a woman has a husband who is not a believer and he is willing to live with her, she must not divorce him. (1 Corinthians 7:12-13) The Bible tells husbands to love their wives (Ephesians 5:25) and wives to love their husbands (Titus 2:4). But I tell you: Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, that you may be sons of your Father in heaven. He causes his sun to rise on the evil and the good, and sends rain on the righteous and the unrighteous. (Matthew 5:44-45)

Now  more than $20,000 in taxpayer funds were given to a Muslim group—the Islamic Humanitarian Service group—in 2017, and additional funds from the Canadian Summer jobs program were granted to the organization this year.  The Austrian government shut down seven mosques and expelled 60 Imams recently because they were being funded illegally by the Turkish government, and because photos from inside the mosques surfaced on the internet showing Turkish children being trained to be martyrs.

What do I really think of Islam

To say that Christians and Christianity are under a withering Liberal and brutal attack in Canada would be an understatement.  Christians and Christianity are mocked, belittled, smeared and attacked by many Liberals on a daily basis. ” Liberalism and Christianity are incompatible with each other. There is no law and order still in Ukraine nor freedom of the press. BBC reporter Andy Verity was kicked in the groin in Ukraine when reporter Andy Verity tried to question the Mayor of Odessa, suspected of involvement. A BBC investigation has revealed how an organised Ukrainian crime gang secretly invested millions of pounds in the UK. Panorama discovered that the Ukrainian gangsters, government officials bought luxury properties in central London. The gangsters, and in some cases family members, bought luxurious property in prime London locations, including a £12.5m flat. The gang were from the Black Sea port of Odessa and made money in the oil industry. The western Liberals in fact  have been trying to overthrow the Syrian government for decades for their own nefarious purposes. The US had “a high level of confidence” about the regime’s alleged culpability for the use of poisonous gas in Douma. but still no facts to substantiate it. It seems the warmongers didn’t even bother to wait for a report by the UN chemical weapons inspectors from Douma. They deliberately overlooked the significance of many reports from others, the site of the supposed chemical weapons attack .  The gas attack was in rebel-held territory and no independent reporters witnessed it because the area is just too dangerous. All the drama about gaz attacks, Russian hacking, interference, and collusion are a smokescreen, masking the real reason why the Western Liberals as well hate President Vladimir Putin. The real conflict is about a geopolitical power struggle for world domination, which involves hundreds of trillions of dollars . The West  is accused of inciting war, supporting terrorism and telling lies.  Russia and Syria have been in the dock and apparently found guilty, but as ever the burden of proof lies with those making the accusations to show the certain evidence they have to back up their claims. However those who have made the accusations have not shown anything like the evidence needed to substantiate their claims.  There is no basis to the Trump Administration’s accusations that the government of Bashar al Assad was involved in deliberately triggering a chemical weapons attack with a view to killing Syrian civilians.  Seymour Hersh, a journalist who has won the Pulitzer Prize, President Donald Trump ordered the bombing of Syria in April, despite having no evidence that the Bashar al-Assad government had used chemical weapons in the Syrian Civil War.   Assad did not order Syria chemical weapons attack, says German press  Bild am Sonntag. President Bashar al-Assad did not personally order last month’s chemical weapons attack near Damascus that has triggered calls for US military intervention, and blocked numerous requests from his military commanders to use chemical weapons against regime opponents in recent months, a German newspaper has reported .   Chancellor Angela Merkel said that Germany would not participate in an attack on Syria over the suspected use of chemical weapons by President Bashar al-Assad’s government.

Note the striking statement by Secretary of Defense James Mattis that the U.S. has “no evidence” that the Syrian government used the banned nerve agent Sarin against its own people. If America did, for example as it alleges in an official White House report, have evidence it calls “our information” regarding the Shayrat airbase “Sarin attack” being prepared, then why did it not show this? The attacks of March 19, August 24 and August 25, 2013 upon Syrian government soldiers indicate that the rebels were in possession of sarin both before and immediately after the chemical weapon attack at Ghouta of August 21, 2013.

The Assad government had no motive to use chemical weapons, especially with the UN inspectors already on the ground in Syria, and as the Syrian government was in a strong position militarily in its struggle with the opposition.   Again why would Assad use chemical weapons on civilians, knowing that it would draw world-wide condemnation and intervention, when the jihadists are surrounded and on the brink of annihilation?  All these false accusations of wrongs in Syria  looks like a last gasp attempt by the desperate West  to stop the run of gains Assad’s  forces have made in the last year.

Unwanted, unappreciated Poor Medical Care

Doctor-assisted suicide could save Canada, the Provinces, Hospitals  tens of millions of dollars annually by avoiding costly “end-of-life” care, or continually medical services apparently. It’s wrong to suggest an assisted death to someone just because they supposedly are close to a natural death.

An Ontario study found the average person generates $14,000 in health-care costs during the last 30 days of his or her life, often receiving intensive treatment is more costly than the Doctor-assisted suicide.

Canada’s new Doctor-assisted suicide laws  are unconstitutional and should be struck down because they do not require doctors “to even try to help relieve intolerable suffering” before offering to kill a terminally ill patient.  Canada’s medically assisted dying policies are “dangerous as they can be used to facilitate the humiliation and abuse of persons with disabilities in times of desperation without any steps being taken by medical staff or the defendants to help these vulnerable disabled patients relieve their suffering or assist such patients with life” Offering death without first trying to provide full adequate medical care is immoral. To suggest death is “ethically questionable,” and it should only come up on patient request. Many persons, physicians with moral and religious objections to assisted dying have already told the provincial governments they don’t want it, because they see it as someone falsely helping the  patients  to end their live.  End to the practice  of doctors referring  patients to seek  assisted death from a physician who will help to do so.

Critics have long feared that, once assisted dying was legalized, its legal borders would creep ever wider to include children and the mentally ill, and that hastening death would become the knee-jerk solution to the many intractable problems of end of life care. The federal government has no jurisdiction over health care, as it is a provincial matter solely.   Neither patients nor physicians should consider costs when making the very personal decision to a patients, well being, health care, emergency department visits, dialysis, medical tests, and hospital admissions.

THE IRONY IS MANY PATIENTS MAKE RELATED VISITS, TO THE DOCTORS, HOSPITALS, BECAUSE MANY CLEARLY CHARGE CARD HAPPY INCOMPETENT DOCTORS FAILED TO SEE AND DEAL WITH THE NEEDED MEDICAL TREATMENT. OR HAD MISDIAGNOSED THE SICKNESS ORIGINALLY.

After months, repeated visits  to the  hospitals  3  Doctors, One from McGill and two from Chum offered me  assisted death. A simple choice between medical help or medically assisted suicide, rather than simply working with me  to deal with my sicknesses  in a respectful patient-centred manner . I refused the death sentences and  I am well and healthy these days. And rather demanded they do the Job they were paid for Fully.  Ironically many other doctors and neighbours say that I look well and healthy.

Vive le CHUM! was the rallying cry from those attending the official inauguration of the new French-language hospital, held in the presence of Premier Of Quebec Premier Of Quebec, Quebec Health Minister  Gaétan Barrette, former Prime Minister of Canada Brian Mulroney, Montreal Mayor Denis Coderre, hospital directors, among other dignitaries. .The Centre hospitalier de l’université de Montréal was a saga of almost 20 years in the makin,. The CHUM is the largest university hospital center in Quebec. The new CHUM is one of the largest hospital centers in North America. It brought together the teams and patients of Hôtel-Dieu, Hôpital Notre-Dame and Hôpital Saint-Luc under one roof.

Quebec can be proud of having such a vast and modern infrastructure, Couillard told a crowd gathered for the ceremony. It’s a great collective accomplishment that deserves recognition, he said. “It’s a marvellous building but above all a resource for patients and for Quebec society, and on a world-class scale,” Couillard said. “ Every year approximately 345,000 outpatients, 22,000 inpatients and 65,000 emergency patients are seen at the CHUM.

The opening of the CHUM super hospital is the last phase in the modernization of Montreal’s major hospitals, totalling more than $7 billion in direct and indirect costs . Among those projects were the expansion of the Jewish General and Ste-Justine hospitals, as well as the construction of the two megahospitals, the MUHC affiliated with McGill, and the CHUM with Université de Montréal.

The new hospital complex has three office-type towers with 25 floors, 772 private patient rooms, There’s also a critical care unit, 39 operating theatres, including dedicated ORs for robotic surgery, heart surgery, neurosurgery and transplants, pharmacy and blood bank.

It seems some people still want to get paid even if they are inadequate, incompetent for their job, the work they were hired for even for this  event at CHUM.

The Quebec government spent millions of dollars building now a new 772 bedroom CHUM St Luc hospital and yet their Emergency services are worse now than before even. The Emergency department accepts about 3 patients every hour, and has at least 30 patients wanting to get seen by a Doctor.

When after 7 hours I had complained to the emergency nurses on duty of my long wait and I still had not seen they doctor yet, they replied if I  thought their services were bad they should try the Quebec regional hospitals were they waiting time is up to 24 hours, then one nurse said she knows there is a problem but everyone else has to wait this long, and one nurse said if I did not like their services I should go to another Hospital.

The Security guard on duty told me that 350 hospital employees had quit their jobs at St Luc last month. I wondered why they had quit..

The  CHUM Cardiac services are still excellent but the CHUM Dermatology is not good at all.  I had received excellent emergency, medical care previously at the Montreal Hôtel-Dieu Hospital  The closing of Hôtel-Dieu will mark the end of an era. The hospital — established by Jeanne Mance, the first nurse to practice in what was then known as New France in the mid-1660s — had scored a number of medical firsts over the years, including the world’s first removal of a kidney in 1868.

BELL STILL LIES

Montreal, Quebec I pay $250 a month for Fibe tv, & internet .. I don’t appreciate being lied to! Our service actually goes out often.. they claim it never gets interrupted ..

We have SERIOUS issues with our internet. It’s absolutely DISGUSTING!!! It’s RARELY available and when it is, it’s so slow i have flashbacks of dial up!!

Oh and they make you believe you have amazing internet speed because you’re not sharing with the general public. This is complete BS. As soon as anyone is on the internet with ONE device, all of internet connections are USELESS. They are so slow that a signal is usually not even detectable!

Finally Bell will get sued.. I suffered a lot with them, they have the worst customer service I ever seen, prices going up regularly, unexplained charges. They fool people of promotions for 6-12 months and then you spend the rest of your life paying for overpriced service

I’ve been given every song and dance from Bell about our poor service. The node is almost 2kms away and our so called Fibe is always going down and we are always on the phone with Bell. In fact, this week we received a new customer service contact number in mail for being a preferred customer. I don’t want a special number I want good service so that I don’t HAVE to call Bell.

I just had this argument with Bell this week . They are saying I am with Fibe ( fiber optic) and I am saying no Fiber optic here only copper !!

I for one can verify that the so called “Fibe” uses the old phones lines in the basement of my apartment building – no fiber optic cable – then it connects from my phone jack to the modem – it’s basically DSL with the illusion of a Fibe network with a premium price tag

It was my biggest problem having fibe was the maIn box down my street. Have internet that was down more than up withbell fibe. They said not enough room in the box… so i was the final one jammed in and they needed to build a new entire box but 7 service calls could jot get that done! So I quit bell ! After the months of grief and torture with the customer service which isnt any service at all. Ill be watching and waiting to get some money back

I fully agree with all the comments regarding poor technical and customer service. I have so many service outages that it is frustrating. I used to call technical service and after so many calls I realized thay have two steps, first you contact a person that asks for the problem then this person tells you to do this ando do that and you do it and nothing happens so he transfers you to a higher level where yo have to repeat the process again and with no definite results. Then they decide that a technicien has to come to your house to fix the problem. So, they schedule the technicien who comes to your house, spends a couple of hours doing the same things that you were asked to do on the telephone with technical service. The system works ok for a couple of weeks and there it starts again.

When something is advertised, a company is expected to deliver what they advertise. A customer shouldn’t have to do any kind of research.  Wrong advertisement is the problem here.

Bell connection really sucks and their technology requires cables at different places.

I’m paying $175 for 2 years. They told me I would have my own fibre optic line coming into my house and that my service would be better than on Rogers. That wasn’t true. They installed copper line into house and my internet is slower than it was with Rogers. It cuts out just as much.

Bell customer service has not been very good. I am glad attention has been brought to them. We are all getting screwed!

Google the decades long close to ‘heart wrenching complaints against Bell ‘ with most being unresolved and that to this day continue – and then Bell Shareholders wonder why their shares continue to either plummet or at best stay stagnant? Bell Executives should be taught: “A company is only as good as its management”… Especially (Bell Quebec) – Bell Satelite management – it’s an OMG disgrace that is almost impossible to describe.

I can say ,totally robbed by the internet service I am getting from bell. I am paying almost $60.00 monthly , very slow connection & kill most of the time , in browsing to get what I am searching & waiting for almost more than one hour to speak a representative, by phone.

It feels like every passing day reveals another problem about the Royal Canadian Mounted Police.   RCMP officers do not “serve and protect” as many municipal police force mottos assert. The RCMP has shown to be inept and ineffective.

Alleged victim testifies in RCMP sex-assault trial A Yukon Supreme Court judge has heard testimony from a woman who claims two off-duty RCMP officers raped her a year ago. The woman, who cannot be identified under a publication ban, has testified that constables Graham Belak, 30, and Shawn McLaughlin, 33, sexually assaulted her in the early-morning hours of March 8, 2009, in the southern Yukon town of Watson Lake. Belak and McLaughlin were both suspended from the RCMP with pay after the charges were laid. They have since moved out of Watson Lake, as has the woman. … the woman said she met the off-duty officers at a house party. The three went back to Belak’s house, where, the woman alleged, McLaughlin held her down on the floor while Belak raped her. The woman said she could not move or speak during the alleged assault and that she blacked out a couple of times before she woke up around 6 a.m. to find she was naked from the waist down

OTTAWA — Canda’s public safety minister  Ralph Goodale says he has expressed outrage to the country’s top Mountie over the latest allegations of sexual harassment within the police force.  “All RCMP members, trainees and employees should feel safe and respected among their colleagues and superiors. Canadians expect professional and exemplary conduct from their national police service.” Ralph Goodale  also said that  he told RCMP Commissioner Bob Paulson  that  he expects a comprehensive, transparent investigation, strong discipline, support for victims and a plan to end what he calls “this toxic workplace behaviour.” after the recent  News reported allegations of unwanted sexual touching, bullying and rampant nudity in the workplace at the explosives training unit of the Canadian Police College in Ottawa.   The RCMP  has STILL been beset by numerous cases of sexual harassment and bullying of both women and men. The RCMP is to insure still a healthy workplace free from harassment and sexual violence.

The  RCMP pattern of poor treatment of  RCMP employees was justifiable  to rattle public confidence and tarnish the force’s reputation as “Harassment has no place in the RCMP.” “This is the national police force, this is an icon of the nation and it’s got to be remedied very quickly to Canadian satisfaction.  Canadians will not tolerate any half measures in the response here,” Ralph Goodale said. “It’s got to stop. CBC News REPORTS THAT  the high-profile Mountie who first spoke out against sexual harassment in the national police force is suing her employer, alleging years of “persistent and ongoing” sexual harassment and bullying.  In a notice of claim obtained by CBC News Wednesday, Cpl. Catherine Galliford alleges she was sexually assaulted, harassed and bullied during her 16 years on the force.

The RCMP fails in all it does again..

A $16-million RCMP project to help keep dangerous refugees out of Canada has turned out to be an expensive security flop. An internal evaluation says the screening project delivered information too late, strayed beyond its mandate, and in the end did almost nothing to catch refugees who might be linked to criminal or terrorist groups.Meanwhile, 30 Mounties were tied up for four years on duties that did little to enhance Canada’s security.Under the pilot project, the RCMP vetted potential refugees already in Canada — the names were provided by the Canada Border Services Agency — by checking domestic police databases for links to criminal or terrorist organizations, among other things.But the auditors found a raft of problems:The cost per screening skyrocketed from a planned $425 to $1,026, on average.The RCMP delivered screening checks to the border agency too late about a third of the time, rendering them useless The RCMP reported only 85 of 4,085 names as potential problem refugees,the RCMP’s work over four years likely had no bearing on the vetting carried out by border agency officers
