Smoke and Mirrors

Smoke and Mirrors, the obscuring or embellishing of the truth of a situation with misleading or irrelevant information

.

Recreational marijuana will officially become legal in Canada on Oct. 17, 2018, Majority of Americans oppose it.  Nearly 40 percent of Canadian adults—more than 11 millions people—intended to consume pot. Consumers of legal age (set at 19 everywhere except Quebec and Alberta, where it will be 18) will also be able to purchase legal weed online, but Canadians will face strict  regulations surrounding where they can consume the drug. Canada’s bill Bill C-45, also lets provinces entirely handle the distribution and sales of marijuana — up to letting provincial governments directly manage and staff all pot stores by themselves. Provinces will be able to impose tougher rules, such as raising the minimum age.

.

Growing pot at home in Manitoba,  Quebec  could land you a ticket from police,  it will be illegal under the prevailing provincial cannabis law.Quebec’s bill applying the law, Bill 157, does not permit it.“If your neighbour denounces you, you will get a ticket,”

.

Premier-designate Doug Ford, Ontario  Progressive Conservatives  says he will focus on selling in government-run stores and the province plans a ban on recreational pot consumption in public spaces and workplaces, allowing it only in private residences, though medical marijuana use will be permitted anywhere that cigarette smoking is allowed.  Pot remains illegal in Canada until the new law goes into effect in October.

.

Canada, like the US, is part of international drug treaties that explicitly ban legalizing marijuana.  Canada will be, in effect, in violation of international law  by legalizing marijuana. Canada, signed on to three major international drug policy treaties: the Single Convention on Narcotic Drugs of 1961, the Convention on Psychotropic Drugs of 1971, and the United Nations Convention against Illicit Traffic in Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances of 1988. Combined, the treaties require participants to limit and even prohibit the possession, use, trade, and distribution of drugs outside of medical and scientific purposes, and work together to stop international drug trafficking. Canada could face diplomatic backlash by legalizing pot.

.

Meanwhile, alcohol still is linked to 88,000 deaths each year in the US. In Canada as well.   https://thenonconformer.wordpress.com/2018/02/14/the-truth-still-even-about-alcohol/

.

American border officials will start engaging in “extreme vetting” of Canadians “in relation to consumption of cannabis.” Canadian travelers will face heightened US border scrutiny and that they should expect to see more drug-sniffing dogs at high-traffic ports of entry post-legalization. .

.

Canadians Who’ve Used Pot Can Be Forever Barred From Entering the United States.  There has already been  an increasing number of Canadians being put on the inadmissibility list simply for admitting to past use. It’s illegal to cross the border with pot, even when entering into a state where the drug is now legal. Under the US federal immigration law, foreigners can be refused entry or even permanently barred from the States for attempting to enter with a controlled substance, for violating the drug laws of the US or any other country, and even for admitting to past drug use. Canadians on the no-entry list who want to visit the United States can apply for an inadmissibility waiver, but each waiver costs about $585 (US) and lasts one to five years, and so the process is a lifelong headache and a significant financial hurdle for the people who cross frequently for business, vacations, personal or family matters.

.

Americans also do feel U.S. relations have a better chance at improving in the year ahead with traditionally hostile nations such as North Korea and Russia than they do with allies such as Britain and Canada. Russia’s changing role in world affairs, a modernized armed forces along with China’s world wide growing influence, and friendship with Russia is at the root of the irrational Russophobia being peddled so passionately in Canada, UK. Western Liberal ideologues that cannot conceive of any relationship with Russia other than as a deadly or defeated foe, their condition of achieving a semblance of stability and peace in the world, is off to a false premise that will fail. No one has ever conquered Russia, and supporting the war by Ukraine is undoubtedly just a pretext.  Do they  really believe that Crimea means less to Russia than Alaska to the U.S.? The United States still does needs cooperation with Russia and China in many of the most pressing global issues of the day . And Europe and Russia go back together for centuries, back to the times of the Grand Duchy of Moscow.

Russia expressed disappointment over Canada’s decision to impose more actions over it. Additionally, Moscow vowed “revenge” against such decision saying that Canada is not improving international cooperation rather it is increasing the tensions.  Moscow recently said that it will result to retaliatory measures following Canada’s sanctions.  https://putin1hero.wordpress.com/2016/03/24/canada/

The basic, central or critical point of why many like Trump, Putin, Russia and others do not.  Is the Christian religion, Matthew 12- 30 He that is not with me is against me; and he that gathereth not with me scattereth abroad.  https://putin1hero.wordpress.com/2018/06/06/the-crux-of-the-matter/

.

The Canadian government is risking making pot more accessible to kids and people with drug use disorders.  It could lead to more use and misuse by making pot cheaper and more available,  easier access could also pose a risk for people who can’t control their cannabis consumption. Marijuana   does carry some risks: dependence and overuse, accidents, nondeadly overdoses that lead to mental anguish and anxiety, and, in rare cases, psychotic episodes.   https://thenonconformer.wordpress.com/2017/01/21/war-on-drugs/

.

More than half (52 per cent) of Canadian employers said they’re concerned or very concerned about the implications of legalized marijuana on the workplace, according to a report by the Conference Board of Canada.Among those concerned, 57 per cent cited workplace safety, followed by impairment or intoxication at work (39 per cent); increased use of the drug in and out of the workplace (21 per cent); testing for impairment (20 per cent); managing needs related to accommodation and disclosure (15 per cent); and the cost, including covering medical marijuana and other financial affects on the organization (15 per cent).

.

Canadian military also is concerned about the  cannabis use. Marijuana use raises safety and operational concerns. The military has restrictions on use of alcohol.   Alcohol has been banned on certain Canadian overseas missions, marijuana may face the same restrictions and marijuana restrictions could be similar and even wider ranging in some functions, such as pilots.

.

The Canadian Bill C-46, which was tabled at the same time as the main pot legislation, includes new powers for police and harsher penalties for driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs. The new law will strengthen the impaired driving laws to help better protect Canadians from alcohol and drug-impaired drivers. The police can require a roadside breath test for any driver. The crucial change is they will no longer need reasonable suspicion the person has been drinking. Drivers who refuse this test face a criminal charge with similar penalties to an impaired driving conviction. Canadian police officers can now use roadside screening devices that test saliva for the presence of cocaine, methamphetamine and THC, the main psychoactive ingredient in cannabis.Canada will now be setting a “per se” level for THC in the blood within two hours of driving, meaning police can lay an impaired driving charge based solely on the blood test results without needing to further prove impairment. The per se levels are set through regulations, not the legislation itself. The government has already proposed its levels, based on nanograms per millilitre of blood:

  • A THC level between 2 and 5 ng would be a lower-level offence with a fine of up to $1000;
  • A THC level above 5 ng would come with the same penalties as an alcohol-impaired driving conviction, including mandatory minimum penalties of a $1000 fine on a first offence, 30 days imprisonment on a second offence and 120 days imprisonment on a third offence;
  • A mixture of a THC level above 2.5 ng and a blood alcohol concentration above 50 mg per 100 mL would have the same penalties as above.
  • .

The Provinces may add additional penalties on top of this.

.

Consuming even small amounts of cannabis shortly before driving could put someone over these limits. The government has said that  it is taking a “zero-tolerance” approach.

.

The Liberals see legalizing marijuana as a lucrative opportunity, increased tax revenue too..

.
Many people will tell you marijuana is not dangerous. Consider who is telling you that. Are these the same people who are using it or are trying to sell you some pot?

Most ostrich alcoholic  drinkers rarely admit they are alcoholics , that they are heavy drinkers or that they will suffer any negatives side effects such as cancer due to their drinking. The study by the Canadian Centre on Substance Use and Addiction and the Canadian Institute for Substance Use Research, was based on health, justice, lost productivity and other costs. We do need to think more carefully as we move toward legalizing recreational cannabis. Canadians need to be  aware of the ongoing and escalating human and economic costs.  More than one alcoholic drink a day could take years off your life. The Cost of substance use in Canada tops $38 billion, with booze and tobacco presently on top.with a staggering toll of 67,515 deaths. .

The rate of women who died from causes linked directly to alcohol has increased by 26 per cent since 2001, compared with a roughly five per cent increase over the same period for men, according to Canadian Institute for Health Information. And more Canadian women are drinking to the point where they end up in hospital, or even die from it. These numbers only include conditions like chronic alcohol use disorder, withdrawal delirium, cirrhosis, acute pancreatitis and extreme intoxication – not conditions that alcohol is a risk factor for. And although they consume less, alcohol affects women negatively more. Each dose of alcohol is more damaging in terms of things like liver damage as well as simple intoxication.  More than 25,000 woman had alcohol-related hospitalizations in 2016-2017, nearly a three per cent increase from prior last year. The figures also show that in 2015 there were more than 3,000 deaths caused by alcohol in Canada, compared to 2,066 deaths caused by motor-vehicle accidents. Girls aged 10 to 19 have already closed the gap with boys. Women are drinking more heavily than in the past sadly.

.

Drinking alcohol has become a “normalized” part of life for the majority of Canadians, yet many don’t realize the potential health risks of downing wine, beer or spirits .  Mental health and addiction-related conditions were responsible for nearly 75 percent of those alcohol-related Canadian hospital stays. If all drinkers limited themselves to a single drink a day, we probably wouldn’t need as many cardiologists, liver specialists, mental health, medical professionals, and substance abuse counselors. Heavy drinking will take a toll on the body.  https://thenonconformer.wordpress.com/2018/02/14/the-truth-still-even-about-alcohol/

.

Alcohol consumption can lead to liver cirrhosis, dependence, withdrawal, acute pancreatitis, as well as chronic diseases like cancer  and Canada is a heavy-drinking country. Alcohol is the second-biggest risk factor for cancer. “It is one of the top-five risk factors for premature mortality, for life expectancy, for burden of disease and hospitalizations” Making alcohol less-advertised, less affordable and less available would help to cut down on the burden of disease,  but so far, “our political system doesn’t want to do that.” Neither the Liberals. NDP, or the Conservatives who love to tax it. Here is the government hypocrisy, it is the governments who control the sale of liquor, sell it directly to citizens, and they are full aware of the hazards of consuming alcohols, Yet the same governments are building more and more liquor stores, carrying out major marketing programs, adds to encourage buying booze.  It seems we have too many cheats, thieves, liars, alcoholics, adulterers for cops and for politicians still in Canada..for basically there is no such thing as a little bit pregnant.  No taxpayers money should ever  be used to buy alcoholics at any federal, provincial, municipal government functions. Really!   https://thenonconformer.wordpress.com/2009/09/02/drink-alcohol-and-die/

.

We all also tend to know how too many cops and others do often despise others, mock the skid row persons, native alcoholic, drunks and yet hypocritically they do the same thing, even their peers.. consuming a vast amount of alcohol and they cannot see what negative effect it has on their personal life. You know I get a kick out of those lying spin  doctors, from police officers, bad cops, union representatives, police lovers  who say that bad people, bad cops and their bad supervisors too they  can always be rehabilitated, retrained.. The hypocritical police tend not to believe that bad cons can be helped only bad cops… and how many millions of them now has this happened to them.. almost none.. a bad apple tends to get worse.. Being a cop is part of a “professional or police culture” dominated by machismo and camaraderie where police officers spend a lot of time socializing with each other,   and often it involves alcohol.  “Drinking among police officers is often quite extensive and excessive, probably more so than in other professions,”

https://thenonconformer.wordpress.com/2008/11/11/no-rcmp-alcoholics-it-seems/

.

The Canadian taxpayer pays heavily for the health costs incurred from alcohol  abuse. Alcohol is a poison that is detrimental to one’s health and all persons who take bad drugs and alcohol suffer undeniably irreversible brain damage, death of brain cells, become more and more mentally  retarded . Even light and moderate drinking – up to one drink a day for women and two drinks a day for men – could increase the risk of cancer, say researchers. Federal   Senators charge taxpayers for art, gifts, dining out and booze

The devil spreads many, many lies,  myths about beer, wine, drugs, being good and hangover cures.  Alcohol, or ethanol, is a sedative, hypnotic drug, and the intoxicating ingredient present in wine, beer, and spirits.  Depression is more common among substance abusers:   Although it is classified as a sedative, hypnotic drug, it has a stimulant effect in small amounts. Alcohol is known to be harmful to developing brains (from fetus to adolescence). Intoxication impairs judgment and can result in inappropriate and illegal behaviors such as sexual promiscuity, disorderly conduct, driving while intoxicated and acts of violence. Roughly 1 in 10 deaths among working-age adults results from excessive drinking. The most serious side effect of alcohol consumption is respiratory and central nervous system depression. When the amount of alcohol in the blood exceeds a certain level, or if other depressant-type medications are taken in combination, the respiratory system significantly slows down, resulting in a lack of oxygen to the brain. This can quickly progress to a comatose state and eventual death. https://thenonconformer.wordpress.com/2013/04/01/alcohol-consumptiom-is-still-one-of-canadas-biggest-problem/

.

ALCOHOL IS  A  VICE AND NOT A NECESSITY.  These days you also so got to supervise daily even the politicians, even the civil and public servants  now as well, for it seems they will all run back quickly to their old tricks.. to their even bad habits of drunkenness, cheating, lying and stealing, and wrongfully next also they think they can get away with it. Clearly we as citizens have wrongfully elected too many thieves, liars, drunks, alcoholics into political offices… and they all now should still be fired, removed, recalled ASAP. Some persons rightfully maintain that prison,  job termination are still the main and best solution to this problem of alcoholics, drug abuses too. The real, root problem often is not the alcohol, or the drugs themselves, alone but rather one honestly dealing with themselves and their own real shortcomings  still too.The basic secret of all successful substance abuse termination programs are accepting personal responsibility, personal accountability,  the individual first personally has to admit he or a she  has done wrong, also admits he or she now does needs help,  admit that they is willing to take the help.. all three aspects are required still too. An appropriate real self examination on their own part is always needed firstly here  for it is also their  own real bad personal acts,  and related guilt that next contributes, contributed to his or  her own poor self image, fears, additional  problems..  especially more when things did not go the way he or she had planned beforehand .

.

No man should adduce in favour of drinking wine unless he can prove that the wine Jesus made in the” water-pots” of Cana was just like the wine which he proposes to drink. There are ample Greek literary texts which negate the narrow definition of oinos as denoting only fermented wine as it did not have the taste or the intoxicating effect of ordinary wine, God did not make fermented juice.. New wine would be grape juice (or a grapeade) mode from grape syrup while old wine would be 2 to 3 years old Suffice it to say, the “better” wine of course does not in any way imply or demand a more alcoholic, or even an alcoholic, wine at all, there is not the slightest evidence that the word so used would have conveyed any idea but that of the pure juice of the grape,

John the Baptist did not drink wine or any other form of alcohol because Scripture prophesied that he wouldn’t (Luke 1:15). Most people don’t know where to draw the line between temperance and excess. Such people better abstain totally until they know they can “be temperate in all things.”

John 210 And saith unto him, Every man at the beginning doth set forth good wine; and when men have well drunk, then that which is worse: but thou hast kept the good wine until now.

And the word used twice  for “good” wine is a Greek word which refers to something or someone morally excellent or intrinsically good, rather It was Christ who in the Old Testament gave the warning to Israel, that “Wine is a mocker,” so why would he make fermented grape juice? by creating alcoholic wine, Jesus would have been promoting drunkenness, which the Bible clearly identifies as sinful.

Next you will say Jesus would have also distributed Playboy magazines.

If Jesus made fermented wine, then the fact that the guests had become”well drunk” would have meant that Jesus endorsed excessive drinking. Therefore, either Jesus endorsed excessive drinking of alcohol or the wine was unfermented grape juice! Obviously, then, the wine that Jesus made was unfermented grape juice.

Too many have assumed that the Hebrew and Greek words translated as “wine” must have the same meaning that themodern usage meaning of the English word “wine” does. In the English language, the word “wine” originally was used to denote the juice of grapes, whether in a fermented or unfermented state. Long ago, of course, that word has taken on the usage meaning of only grape juice in its fermented state. That’s why today we distinguish the two drinks by using the terms “wine” and “grape juice.”

Exodus 12:15 and 13:7 forbid the very presenceof “leaven” anywhere in the homes during Passover. The New Testament–in Matthew 16:12 and I Corinthians 5:7-8–provide the explanation by declaring that leaven is a symbol of evil. Leaven is a yeast, so the leavening process is parallel to the process of fermentation. In the light of these facts, plus Jesus’ statement in the disputed passages that the “fruit of the vine”represented His own saving blood, we must surely conclude that the communion cup did, and should always, contain unfermented (ie., uncorrupted) grape juice. The following Old Testament texts show God’s disapproval of wine, as “yayin:” Genesis 9:21; 19:32; Leviticus10:9-11; Deuteronomy 32:33; Psalm 60:3; Proverbs 4:17; 20:1; 23:20, 29-35;31:4-5; Isaiah 5:11-12; 28:7; Ezekiel 44:21; and Hosea 7:5. Proverbs 23:31-35–Again, the very nature of fermented wine is categorically condemned as a “serpent” and an “adder” that bites and stings.

The Bible condemns the use itself of all alcoholic beverages and highly recommends unfermented grape juice!  The only exception to this consistent rule in Scripture is Proverbs 31: 6-7, which commands that alcoholic beverages be given to those who are dying or cowards.

The assumption made by proponents of the moderate use of alcoholic beverages that the ancient peoples did not know how to preserve the juice of the grape in an unfermented state, and that therefore, virtually every instance of wine mentioned in the Bible must be to fermented wine. This assumption is totally false as the ancient historical records are abundantly clear that there were several major methods of preserving grape juice in its natural, unfermented state.

Scriptures clearly teach that the very nature of alcoholic beverages is that which brings spiritual apostasy and otherwise affects the mind (and body too) of whomever drinks it. In other words, it is not excessive drinking only that the Bible condemns, but the beverage itself and its consumption in any amount. Since most people and Christians do not know or study the Bible today they are easily deceived.

As it is abundantly clear that the Bible condemns the use of alcohol in any amounts, Persons that are simply rationalizing what they want to do regardless of the facts or the consequences to their spiritual, or physical, natures are led to do so by the demons.

The Truth still even About Alcohol

no drugs (1)

The devil spreads many, many myths about beer, wine, drugs, hangover cures and whether or not they are good for you.

What does alcohol actually do to the human body? How does it affect behaviour and what might be done to lessen, or even prevent, its most harmful effects? Nothing real good comes from any of them, believe it or not.

.

The Cost of substance use in Canada tops $38 billion, with booze and tobacco presently on top.with a staggering toll of 67,515 deaths. NO ALCOHOL (7)

Alcohol, or ethanol, is a sedative, hypnotic drug, and the intoxicating ingredient present in wine, beer, and spirits.   Although it is classified as a sedative, hypnotic drug, it has a stimulant effect in small amounts. Alcohol is known to be harmful to developing brains (from fetus to adolescence).Intoxication impairs judgment and can result in inappropriate and illegal behaviors such as sexual promiscuity, disorderly conduct, driving while intoxicated and acts of violence.

The Truth even About Alcohol comes as governments around the world strive to improve public health and safety and raise awareness about the dangers of addiction. Heavy drinking is a major cause of preventable death in most countries. And alcohol is implicated in about half of fatal traffic accidents. If all drinkers limited themselves to a single drink a day, we probably wouldn’t need as many cardiologists, liver specialists, mental health, medical professionals, and substance abuse counselors.

Heavy drinking will take a toll on the body. It can cause inflammation of the liver (alcoholic hepatitis) and lead to scarring of the liver (cirrhosis), a potentially fatal disease. Heavy drinking can increase blood pressure and damage heart muscle (cardiomyopathy). It has also been linked with several cancers: The World Cancer Research Fund and American Institute for Cancer Research indicate that there is convincing evidence linking alcohol use to cancer of the mouth, pharynx, larynx, esophagus, breast, and colon and rectum in men, and probable evidence that its use contributes to liver cancer and colorectal cancer in women. The risk is multiplied for drinkers who also smoke tobacco. Alcohol can disrupt sleep. Its ability to cloud judgment is legendary. Alcohol interacts in potentially dangerous ways with a variety of medications, including acetaminophen, antidepressants, anticonvulsants, painkillers, and sedatives. It is also addictive, especially for people with a family history of alcoholism.

DRUNK DRIVING

Alcoholism has a price. Depression, homelessness, the break up of the family unit, losing one’s job, losing one’s career, losing one’s house, losing one’s mind, losing one’s life even.

Problem drinking also touches drinkers’ families, friends, and communities. Too many persons meet standard criteria for alcohol abuse or alcoholism. Alcohol plays a big role in one in three cases of violent crime. Many people die each year in automobile accidents in which alcohol is involved. Alcohol abuse is very costly to all.

For a 30-year-old man, the increased risk of alcohol-related accidents outweighs the possible heart-related benefits of moderate alcohol consumption. For a pregnant woman and her unborn child, a recovering alcoholic, a person with liver disease, and people taking one or more medications that interact with alcohol, moderate drinking offers little benefit and substantial risks.

If you don’t drink, do not start. You can get guaranteed positive  benefits with more exercise or healthier eating.

.

And the undeniable brain damage by the use of bad drugs, and alcohol is irreversible
 .
Negative effects of usage Marijuana include: Feelings of panic and fear (paranoia), Hallucinations, Trouble concentrating, altered senses (for example, seeing brighter colors), altered sense of time. changes in mood, impaired body movement, difficulty with thinking and problem-solving, impaired memory, blocks memory formation, decreased ability to perform tasks that require coordination. Decreased interest in completing tasks. Poorer physical health, more relationship problems, increase the risk of depression. Less academic and career success. Poor school performance and higher chance of dropping out The lost mental abilities didn’t fully return in those who quit marijuana next. Increased Antisocial behavior including stealing money or lying. Intense anxiety, fear, distrust, or panic are common side effects.
.
Marijuana also increases a person’s heart rate for up to three hours after use, putting users at risk for heart attack during that period. Secondhand marijuana smoke can do as much damage to the heart and blood vessels as secondhand tobacco smoke. The regular use of marijuana during adolescence is of particular concern, since use by this age group is associated with an increased likelihood of negative consequences such as Addiction (about 9% of adults and 17% of people who started smoking as teens) No medications are currently available to treat marijuana use disorder.
 .
The widespread abuse of drugs, narcotics , alcohol are also  linked to virtually to every evil and criminal activity within our society including adultery, murder.

The Bible condemns the use itself of all alcoholic beverages and highly recommends unfermented grape juice!  The only exception to this consistent rule in Scripture is Proverbs 31: 6-7, which commands that alcoholic beverages be given to those who are dying or cowards.

.

The assumption made by proponents of the moderate use of alcoholic beverages that the ancient peoples did not know how to preserve the juice of the grape in an unfermented state, and that therefore, virtually every instance of wine mentioned in the Bible must be to fermented wine. This assumption is totally false as the ancient historical records are abundantly clear that there were several major methods of preserving grape juice in its natural, unfermented state.

.

Since most people and Christians do not know or study the Bible today they are easily deceived.

.

As it is abundantly clear that the Bible condemns the use of alcohol in any amounts, Persons that are simply rationalizing what they want to do regardless of the facts or the consequences to their spiritual, or physical, natures are led to do so by the demons.

The Canadian taxpayer pays for the alcohol abuse

The Canadian taxpayer pays heavily for the health costs incurred from alcohol  abuse. Alcohol is a poison that is detrimental to one’s health and all persons who take bad drugs and alcohol suffer undeniably irreversible brain damage, death of brain cells, become more and more mentally  retarded Even light and moderate drinking – up to one drink a day for women and two drinks a day for men – could increase the risk of cancer, say researchers. Federal   Senators charge taxpayers for art, gifts, dining out and booze

A new study suggests Canadians are thirstier than ever as sales of wine, beer  and spirits are on track to setting a record high. Increasing indulgence  has been a trend all year long with Canadians spending close to half a billion  dollars more on alcohol in the first nine months of 2012 than in 2011, and if this growth holds up through the holiday season, that would set the stage for  record retail sales of more than $19 billion in 2012. Whether it is family get-togethers,  holiday parties or just drinking to stay warm, liquor sales typically surge by  over 40 per cent of the monthly average in December, the study  suggests. By comparison, despite the hordes of people descending on malls  to purchase gifts for their loved ones, the retail sector only rises by 15-20  per cent in December.   Alcohol sales on pace to high record high: report  Canada becoming a nation of alcoholics

BC alcohol revenues provide the government with $1 billion annually. But health and enforcement costs related to alcohol were $57 million higher than revenue generated by alcohol sales.

Alcohol consumption and cost on government-owned aircraft. Between November 13 and September 7th, 231 bottles of wine and 535 cans of beer have been downed by passengers – including staff, security and members of the travelling press – while on board government-owned Airbus and Challenger aircraft, for a combined tab of $6,053.41.

.

In an  note signed by Foreign Affairs Minister Stephane Dion sates  that the service of both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages for “official delegations on international flights” has been “standard practice since the 1970s.”

A Liberal  alcoholic politician is now just as bad as a New Conservative alcoholic politician firstly.. and lies just as much.. It seems we have too many cheats, thieves, liars, alcoholics, adulterers for cops and for politicians still in Canada.. for basically there is no such thing as a little bit pregnant, it seems you are basically honest or merely another crook…

.

alcohol-4

Kind of foolish encouraging people to become alcoholics at taxpayers expense, for while a few corporations will get richer in the process, the Canadian government will not, cause the costs due to job dismissals and related tax losses, Medicare cost increase, car accidents, policing, domestic violence, all associated with alcoholism is extremely costly.. No taxpayer’s money should ever  be used to buy alcohol  at any federal, provincial, municipal government functions nor encourage any alcoholism too. Really!

PM Stephen Harper’s Patronistic Appointments

harper_guiness

PM Stephen Harper promised in his election campaign to never appoint senators – zero senators. Since his promise, he appointed 59 senators – the likes of Patrick Brazeau, Duffy, and Walin in exchange for political favors. On that one promise alone, he lied 59 times!

.

Don Meredith, appointed to the Senate by Prime Minister Stephen Harper in 2010, has been kicked out of the Conservative caucus, Meredith, 50, is  an ordained minister at a Pentecostal church in Vaughan, Ont. He ran unsuccessfully for the Tories in Toronto Centre in a 2008 by-election. The development comes as the Toronto Star reported Wednesday night that an 18-year-old woman alleged she had an inappropriate sexual relationship with Meredith, which began when she was 16.

.

Mint chairman Jim Love expensed luxury trips with wife to global conferences.  Toronto lawyer Jim Love flew business class with his wife, slept at Hyatt and Four Seasons hotels, and spent a day on a boat trip to the Great Barrier Reef and a night having dinner at a crocodile farm, according to travel receipts and conference programs.. Love, appointed chair of the mint’s board of directors in 2009 by the Conservative government, billed the mint $44,566 for his and his wife’s flights, hotels, taxis and meals for the two trips. His term ended last year.   They were joined by the mint’s then-CEO, Ian Bennett, and his wife, who also enrolled in the tour — at a further cost to the Canadian Mint.  Two years later, it was more of the same: Love and his wife attended the next Mint Directors Conference, in Vienna in 2012. They again went on the post-conference tour, a voyage by train through the Austrian countryside followed by a couple nights in Salzburg. The total bill for their business-class airfares and hotel stays during the conference: $21,967. Under PM Stephen Harper overstuffed piggies at the public trough. We have a huge deficit that has ballooned under the Harper government. Tax breaks for the wealthy on the backs of the middle classes taxpayer, so  cut the outrageous expense accounts of the ‘appointed’ ones.  It is the responsibility of government to fill positions. However, a responsible government would select someone who  is decent.  http://www.cbc.ca/news/politics/mint-chairman-jim-love-expensed-luxury-trips-with-wife-to-global-conferences-1.3116573

.

The RCMP  wants to review findings on all 30 senators flagged for questionable expenses should start of with it’s own personnel as well.

.

I am not guilty is what most people say when they are accused of wrong doings.. even convicted felons.. Look undeniably now 2/3 of Canadians think that Wallin, Duffy are also now guilty of abusing the taxpayer’s money in the Senate, of living high on the Hog at the taxpayer’s expenses.. Expense reporting the policy is clear. All fraud, cheating, lying, stealing is wrong.. Nigel Wright and Mike Duffy, etc., acted on their own volition and like it or not, they are alone firstly responsible, guilty, accountable .How much common sense does it now take that Cheating, lying, committing frauds, abusing your expense account is wrong now? Not much..so why cannot some see this? they love the rewards their stealing brings them.

.

What has these people going  clearly is their false love of money.. what it can buy for them.. Face it their being threatened with expulsion from the Senate and the related  loss of the pay cheques is really what has brought on their false rages.. outbursts, denials.

https://thenonconformer.wordpress.com/2009/07/15/i-cannot-trust-you-for-you-lie-to-me-all-the-time/

.

It is ironic that  Prime Minister Stephen Harper well known for his own past dislike of the sensate and it’s members next appointed some of the worst senators himself.. Wallin is being investigated by the RCMP . Stephen Harper campaigned on reforming the senate  and promised not to appoint any senators. Once he  achieved power, he has done the opposite. He has  appointed more senators than any other prime minister in our history.  Harper has made 59 appointments (including Nancy Greene Raine) – here’s a list:    http://www.parl.gc.ca/parlinfo/compilations/senate/Senate_NominationByPM.aspx

.

Mike Duffy, a partisan Conservative operative,  facing Mr. Duffy himself is  facing alleged   accusations   embezzlements relating to expense accounts  and Of course, it’s   the morality, the integrity of the Conservative Party hierarchy, that is now also on trial. With the pay, perks and pensions  of a Senate appointment, one would think that Pamela Wallin, Mike Duffy, et al would be satisfied too…

.

.

Harper appointed Duffy to the Senate in late 2008, despite the fact Duffy had lived in the Ottawa area for decades. Duffy was a well-known former TV broadcaster who went on to be featured prominently at Conservative events and in promotional materials. Prime Minister Stephen Harper distanced his party from Sen. Pamela Wallin — who was once a top Conservative fundraiser — after the RCMP alleged in court documents that she defrauded taxpayers for at least one partisan fundraiser.

.

Court documents made public  showed one of the 150 expense claims that caught the RCMP’s attention included a trip to Burlington, Ont., on Sept. 16, 2010, for an event for Conservative MP Mike Wallace. When asked by Deloitte auditors whether it was a fundraiser, Wallin allegedly replied that “she assumed ‘people paid for dinner,’” RCMP Cpl. Rudy Exantus wrote in the court documents, adding that the event was a fundraiser to “amass funds for the next election.” The RCMP allege this claim, along with 24 others, are evidence of fraud and breach of trust.  The RCMP alleged Wallin charged the Senate for travel related to her work on the board of directors for Porter Airlines and wealth management firm Gluskin Sheff & Associates. The Mounties also allege that on some trips to Toronto, Wallin took care of her personal affairs, pointing to notes in her calendar for medical and dental appointments, birthday parties, a book launch, hair appointments, dry cleaning, and “picking up candle holders.”

.

The RCMP also alleged that Wallin “misrepresented” some of her events to Deloitte auditors. In once case, Wallin told auditors she met with Barrick Gold founder Peter Munk in March 2010. Munk told the RCMP he was in Switzerland at the time. “Upon discovering that (Wallin’s expenses) were not proper and correct, this party has taken the appropriate action,” Harper said. “Ms. Wallin has not been a member of this caucus for two years and she is going to face full accountability for her actions.” Wallin remains suspended without pay from the Senate, and was booted from the Conservative caucus in May 2013, one day after Sen. Mike Duffy left the Tory fold

.

Mr. Harper could try to claim he is not responsible for any of their actions, but  he cannot denied he appointed them.. “More serious for the Conservatives is that the Senate scandal might reopen the vault on the larger abuse-of-power narrative that has dogged the Harper government. It may be seen as a microcosm of the serial breaches of the public trust: the undercover dirty tricks, the smear campaigns against opponents, the altering of official documents, the democracy-shredding omnibus bills. If you wanted to go into detail, you could fill an entire page of news print with the ethical transgressions of this government that have undermined the democratic process.  They’ve become so common they hardly make news any more.”  On the moral bankruptcy charts, this same Party government is leagues ahead of its forerunners. had promised to be different than all the others even.  https://thenonconformer.wordpress.com/2013/10/24/i-am-not-guilty/

.

.

So go ahead Mike AND Pamela, ETC. continue to make yourself Canada’s biggest laughing stock.. a big joke,  a con, and do find out some more the hard way that a good name is worth more over all the money one can steal..

.

Now we had the cases of the clear  breach of trust and fraud investigation in Quebec City halls that  and mostly still all those bad people had refused to admit they had stolen taxpayers money, yes even all  those crooked Montreal City hall workers, and the city of Laval,  leaders now too. And  there now are too many more persons  like that now..

https://thenonconformer.wordpress.com/2013/02/09/while-scandals-and-corruption-are-nothing-new-in-politics-they-are-still-unacceptable/

.

“Going all the way back to the 1950s, ethics has been a major player in the fate of our governments. A prime reason for the defeat of the Liberals in 1957 was the defiant invoking of closure by the Louis St. Laurent government in the TransCanada Pipeline debate. A series of scandals involving his Quebec ministers were instrumental in preventing Lester Pearson from ever winning a majority. In 1984, Pierre Trudeau saddled successor John Turner with a tawdry list of patronage appointments. They hung over Mr. Turner like a dead skunk in his subsequent demolition at the hands of Brian Mulroney.

The Mulroney government’s reputation was then damaged by ministerial scandals. Sleaze, real or imagined, tarred Mr. Mulroney’s own reputation, contributing to his decision to step down in 1993 when his popularity was below sea level. And we all know the impact of the sponsorship scandal on the Liberals of Mr. Chrétien and Paul Martin.”

.

Also “For the Conservatives, the danger is in evidence that suggests the government was trying to protect a political asset. Mr. Duffy was a valuable celebrity fundraiser who raked in cash for the party through recorded messages and events, and played host to the Prime Minister for fake interviews at what the Tories like to call “message events.”  And when Mr. Duffy’s expense scandal first blew up, when allegations emerged that he claimed a housing allowance for his home in Ottawa although he had lived in the city for decades, the Conservatives’ first instinct was to protect him.  Mr. Duffy has in the past said his partisan work is relevant: he asked the Conservative Party to pay his questioned Senate expenses, saying he incurred them doing party business. The PMO responded by trying to get Mr. Duffy out of trouble.”

.

In spite of past promises Harper unleashes flood of patronage   Stephen Harper once said he had no plans to stack the Senate with unelected representatives, suggesting it was “a dumping ground for the favoured cronies of the prime minister.” Next when he’s actually a prime minister, he’s done exactly what he said he wouldn’t do. The Harper cabinet unleashes flood of patronage The rush of appointments followed a little-noticed series of judicial appointments to superior courts across the country in July. That round brought the total number of superior court judges appointed by the Harper government to 201 since 2006. It also further fuelled opposition claims that the prime minister has abandoned election promises of transparency and merit-based public-service and judicial appointments. Conservative appointments to courts, boards, quasi-judicial tribunals and Crown corporations now total an estimated 3,000 since Harper became prime minister. The Tories are also closing in on the Liberals in the Senate after Harper’s appointment of nine senators Thursday, including at least two close advisers. Several of the earlier judicial posts went to lawyers with Tory connections.

Self serving sadly seems to describe too many of our politicians, ministers, civil and public servants    https://thenonconformer.wordpress.com/2015/04/02/self-serving-sadly-seems-to-desribe-too-many-of-our-politicians-ministers-civil-and-public-servants/

.

A professing Canadian Christian, of the bad Christian Missionary Alliance church, a  loser, the Prime Minister Stephen Harper did next again what he said he would not do before, he appointed 18 Conservatives to the Senate had even  lied to us, he next did not keep his promises of full transparency, or full accountability, and even that he would stop the perverse patronage hiring system, deal adequately with a bad lobbying system, and what else? After insisting he would never appoint people to an un-elected Senate, the prime minister sent a staggering 18 curly-tailed snorters to the Red Room, confirming his election pledges aren’t worth the paper they’re written on.  Harper talks a good talk when it comes to populace issues like balancing the books, Senate reform and fixed election dates.  But when it comes time to stand up and defend those principles in the real world of governing, Harper turns into a mashed potato.

.

Harper’s own recent appointment of senators indicates clearly still that Harper  cannot be trusted to work with the opposition parties as a minority government. Harper had once sold himself to Canadians as a different kind of politician, one who’d refrain from using patronage appointments to the Senate. A man who could be trusted to keep that and other promises.. Instead, Harper has fast become the kind of governing politician he once professed to abhor — one who routinely breaks his word.

.

“Other examples include the $300-million fall election call, which broke Harper’s promise to stick to his own fixed election law and failed to deliver the majority he’d gambled on; Harper also reneged on his pledge not to impose new taxes on income trusts and his vow to exclude nonrenewable natural resources like oil and natural gas from the equalization formula — a decision critics say has cost Saskatchewan $800 million a year. All Canadians saw again now was  yet another prime minister rewarding mostly partisan party loyalists with a plum $130,000-a-year job and lavish perks.

.

Yes  Stephen Harper the Prime Minister he too now has showed us all he really was a liar, no better than the rest, and he has continued wrongfully too to hire more of his conservative friends into good government jobs.. so now do rightfully fire him. http://thenonconformer.blogspot.com/2008/01/canadian-citizens-point-of-view.html

.

The New Conservatives are just as disgusting as the bad Liberals they had replaced..  MONTREAL — A little more than a year ago, Saulie Zajdel joined Stephen  Harper for a happy-hour pub stop in Montreal as perhaps the Conservatives’ best  hope to win their first seat in this city in a quarter-century. Today, Zajdel is under arrest.

.

Politicians, civil and Public servants Pigging out, living high on the hog, or getting drunk and patronistic hiring practices, are clearly an unacceptable abuse.   A Liberal  alcoholic politician is now just as bad as a   Conservative alcoholic politician firstly.. and lies just as much..

https://thenonconformer.wordpress.com/2009/06/03/harpers-patronage-hirings-alcoholics/

.

The whole truth comes out why you hired bad people  or about the drunk drivers,  poor now removal, road accidents, recession, Stephen Harper, city halls corruptions.. but first can you tell me why the poor managers allow all these civil bad public servants, senators, aides, MPs, MLA’s, MPP’s  in municipalities, provinces, Canada wide, fly all over the country, world wide, eat   fine food, drink alcohol,  in fine restaurants at taxpayer’s expense while the country is in a big recession? The sad Unacceptable taxpayer’s money abuses.

https://thenonconformer.wordpress.com/2009/02/14/clearly-an-unacceptable-abuse/

.

The continual mismanagement, budget deficit, tax payer money abuses and has there been even any changes in all this really? We all  really still do need still a full  review of the waste, fraud, and abuse that has plagued governmental efforts. What is also needed is a enforced, real program to remove public officials from office that take our money and abuse it, spend it on their own false pet projects while many of our people still are not getting the help that they need. You also did notice the cops do too often still  not  practice what they preach to others they themselves still do like to speed, and how many like to drink and drive still too?

https://thenonconformer.wordpress.com/2009/02/11/the-whole-truth-comes-out/

.

People in leadership office do have to face higher penalties as an example now too. It is clearly established, accepted fact by most people that those in leadership civil and public servants cops, teachers, ministers, politicians included  are always to be exemplary in behavior,  conduct and they do need to maintain their high standards even out of their working hours, thus to do so they are also to be exemplary  judged, prosecuted  for their own wrong doings with a higher standard over those of us ordinary folks. So where is it?

Alberta is now a province of losers on social welfare now begging the East for help mainly due to the oil downturn, with massive layoffss, firms closing their doors forever, and loads of home prices dropping even foreclosures…. SO IMAGINE THE UNINMAGINEABLE. . The NDP now wins a majority government in Alberta, ending a Progressive Conservative dynasty in power for more than four decades.

Well those socialists, the NDP finally took over from the Conservative, capitalists The election results were the ultimate anti-incumbent protests, rebuke to the past endemic PC scandals and cronyism. with accountability and trust already at a sore point . OBJECTION to a government ruled by a tiny clique .

Liberals and Conservatives tend to be self centered, greedy, materialistic oriented persons. Their universe is usually small. self centered, superficial . Research has indicated that the materialism drive are due to a high neuroticism and low agreeableness. They feel incomplete. That is why they use other people to fill up the inner gap. . They are intolerant of differences. They devalue others and put them at a lesser position. It is hard for self-centered people to have a real sense of empathy. Even if they do, it is usually conditional, depending on what they are receiving from the source they are empathizing with. They expect too much for what they are willing to give. Yes when you go deep inside, their real feeling of inadequacy reveals itself. Don’t buy into their arrogance, don’t feed their excessive sense of self-importance. Don’t be their door mat. Have compassion for them since they falsely have created a wrong type of self-protection mode for them. Beyond the fact of their self-delusion is the related inability to admit to their own basic motivations . Neglect the poor and you will walk in their does next.

Citizens are still also calling for change in   local speed traps. I think over the years they have just tacked on additional fines, or put up red light cameras, or doing one thing or another to try and generate revenue for their city.  Cities falsely are using traffic citations to fund city government.  Some cities it’s upwards of 8% to 10% of their revenue instead of .5 percent  is generated by fines and fees.    Many cities   have used fines and fees to fund a large portion of their budget, police budgets included . Too many Police Department  even have an illegal quota system that requires  officers to write three traffic tickets per day and make at least one arrest every two days. A  quota encourages officers to ticket people regardless of whether motorists’ behaviour is actually endangering the public or could be corrected with a warning. Traffic fines affect the poor and are ineffective against those they are to be really targeting, the rich. Most   cops saw their fellow residents less as citizens to protect than as “potential offenders and sources of revenue.”  Causing  “breakdown of trust” between people, police, governments and courts.  Missouri cities can no longer treat their citizens like ATMs,  as the state’s governor signed a bill capping how much money local governments can collect from traffic tickets and fines.” For people who have lived in these communities that fear they are going to be pulled over and harassed because that city needs money, that’s going to change,”

What at the Prime Minister Stephen Harper’s residence ?

alcohol-10a

OTTAWA – An intoxicated 18-year-old woman was taken to hospital early Sunday morning, Easter Morning,  after she was found on the driveway at 24 Sussex Dr. The RCMP say paramedics were called to the prime minister’s official residence on the weekend in response to a medical call. The call came in the “early morning hours” of Sunday, April 20. So the woman had been attending a party at 24 Sussex that night?

Report says underage woman treated for potential alcohol poisoning

The Prime Minister Stephen Harper had   professed to be an evangelical Christian, and evangelical Christians they do not serve or drink Alcohol..

The Prime Minister’s Office refused to state whether Stephen or Laureen Harper were present during the party, and whether this was a celebration of Ben’s 18th birthday.

Look how many of the Canadian News Media lies and spins the story, many try to say that the girl was not in the Home, residence.. but  the RCMP guards the gate to the property so they knew she was there.. so  is this how the Prime Minister’s Christian family celebrates Easter, having a drunken orgy?

Does MP Dian Ablonczy also drink alcohol? She is a professing Christian evangelical now too.. do other evangelical Conservatives MPs drink Alcohol?

.

What Toronto Mayor Rob Ford should know..  Now by now we all should be used to the too many expensive liars we do daily encounter in governments, news media, police and even in Churches.. the lying spin doctors are now too often trying to justify their pay and they do lie to us by telling us all that they are all doing a good job in serving us, in looking after all of our good welfare, even while the rich get richer and the poor people get poorer in Canada now too, but still visibly we can clearly see this is not so and real justice too often is an expensive undertaking, a mockery.. it now rarely happens..

(Eccl 5:15 KJV)  As he came forth of his mother’s womb, naked shall he return to go as he came, and shall take nothing of his labour, which he may carry away in his hand.
  .
(Eccl 12:13 KJV)  Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man.
.
(1 Tim 6:9 KJV)  But they that will be rich fall into temptation and a snare, and into many foolish and hurtful lusts, which drown men in destruction and perdition. 9  But they that will be rich fall into temptation and a snare, and into many foolish and hurtful lusts, which drown men in destruction and perdition. 10  For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows. 11  But thou, O man of God, flee these things; and follow after righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, meekness
.
Here also is what I know for sure, the older the person is the more extreme, more severe, the more difficult the punishment has  to be on them to cause them to personally to change in their own  negative ways, for they are too set in them now too.   And most bad persons  employ false denial techniques that build more walls between them and others.
.
We all must take any personal addiction seriously because 25% of North Americans die as a result of substance abuse. The average alcoholic dies twenty-six years earlier than he or she would otherwise. Drug users, alcoholics, cheaters, abusers, adulterers affect negatively continually too the lives of at least six others. Establish Boundaries, Set Limits, Set detachement.  One example of setting a boundary is telling a close friend, aloved one  that you prefer they not be around you if they are smoking,  drunk or high. Notice that it is specific deamnd, and you have to sit down and communicate this type of request explicitly with that someone. Setting a boundary like this is difficult because there is this tendency to hurt other’s feelings. But that is part of what is keeping you ineffective– your caring more about this person’s feelings than your own personal well being. Setting boundaries is about putting your own personal well being and even that of others first, and letting that be a guiding example of how to live. You know you are setting effective boundaries when you are taking back control of your own life firstly and starting to regain your own sanity–instead of being all wrapped up in the problems of a struggling smoker, rebel, drug addict or alcoholic.
.
True happiness cannot be in reality achieved without having a continual, personal relationship with Jesus here on earth and us continually knowing and following solely his will of our life too, instead of Idols. Why is Jesus God jealous of …idols before us? well it means he is envious for our own good.. he strives for all things to be our good… What idols? what ever replaces God is an idol.. what ever you falsely worship as substitute for God. And it can be drugs, booze, sex, or your wife, son , daughter, a persons, car, self, even your church, your pastor, your denomination, your own doctrines, beliefs, your culture, nationality … for we all had or have a god shaped vacuum in our life.. but filling it with extremes or false substitutes, junk will never be acceptable to God. Never. If you still do have a God shaped vacuum that is unfilled, then no other things, no relationships or careers, goals, next will satisfy you, not even any personal, social, community relationships, acts.  https://thenonconformer.wordpress.com/2011/09/14/a-good-name-is-rather-to-be-chosen-over-great-riches/
 .’

While ones’ admission of  alcohol use, marijuana use, dependency on pain killers, or even snorting cocaine maybe, could often be still  ridden out supposedly but not hidden, but still done not without any negative personal consequences, or leads to the usage of more bad drugs even,  even  the usage of crack cocaine which is very serious and costly for all.. .

You do the crime you alone pay the time or the cost of treatment is still a fact of life.  It is naïve to expect others to help you or they will pay the costs of your treatment

.

Crack cocaine is by far the most commonly used street-drug in Canada. It causes incredible physical suffering to those who are dependent. It destroys families and erodes social supports leading to isolation, hopelessness and homelessness. It is linked to criminal activity and violence.

.

There are many thousands of people across Canada who use crack — many on a daily basis, the underclass of Canadian society. Crack cocaine is by far the most commonly used street-drug in Canada. It causes incredible physical suffering to those who are dependent. It destroys families and erodes social supports leading to isolation, hopelessness and homelessness. It is linked to criminal activity and violence. Even among drug users, “crack heads” are considered at the bottom rung of the drug use ladder. The bad crack People are to be avoided and thus are also demonized.

.

Although Crack is cheap, readily available, it is immediately  habit-forming. It is a powerful euphoric agent that can dampen the pain and make troubles disappear.but is short-lived and within minutes the one’s depressions and troubles haven’t disappeared, but there is an intense desire to use crack and do it  over and over again..

The  vast majority of crack smokers in Canada are extremely marginalized, living in poverty, and spend a lot of their time chasing after crack.

.

The treatment of crack is costly and thus for the most part crack usage is very much  untreatable and a serious personal and financial threat to our cities.

.

So  crack users are a menace to society and now  criminal punishment is the only way to curb the problem. The sole response has been to use the criminal justice system to seek out the dealers and the users and to round them up and put them in jail. There is no reasonable  alternative approach towards the who got people started  on crack in the first place.

.

Now we are  not all callous and vindictive, but because of the impractical extremely high for engagement, care, treatment, and crack recovery treatment is unavailable generally

.

Instead of Society now confronting the health and social problems associated with crack use in Canadian cities, we have rightfully  left this to a less costly approach,  to law enforcement that continue to fill up jails with these people who are addicted and mentally ill.

.

It is true that our tools to manage, reduce and eliminate crack use are very limited. Research has shown that the psychological dependency on crack cocaine is very intense and that simply insisting on abstinence rarely works. There are currently no pharmacologic interventions available and programs that offer even the most basic psychotherapy are limited.

.

We also do know that at the very least people who are using crack must get out of the environment where they are using in order to avoid the cues that perpetuate their use. That itself is an unreasonable expectation..

.

A costly new research into alternative approaches to the vast cocaine dependency is not sustainable. No one can suggest that bad drug use can be managed through tough law enforcement but any alternative is financially unfeasible.

.

Because of the costs, lack of money,  our politicians, policy-makers, and even health care professionals, have turned a blind eye to the personal problem of crack cocaine.

.

With crack cocaine and all of its serious health and social consequences, costs  in full public view, what else can the user expect now? Pay the costs for using it.. Yes even  the doctors can lie to you and say they can help you, but not if you do not have the money to pay for their services.

.

One here reaps what one sows.. so what is strange about that?

.

.

People in leadership office do have to face higher penalties as an example now too. It is clearly established, accepted fact by most people that those in leadership civil and public servants cops, teachers, ministers, politicians included  are always to be exemplary in behavior,  conduct and they do need to maintain their high standards even out of their working hours, thus to do so they are also to be exemplary  judged, prosecuted  for their own wrong doings with a higher standard over those of us ordinary folks.

.

Toronto mayor Rob . Ford is  a suspected alcoholic too,  and  is also a well-connected person, pals with Stephen Harper and Jim Flaherty, who also like to consume alcohol…

.

Jesus is the only successful treatment for alcohol and bad drug usage.. but no one can force you to use his services..

Imagine this our too often useless, immoral politicians get an extra paid 4 week vacation again?

canadav

Stephen Harper to seek prorogation of Parliament

Imagine this our too often useless, immoral  politicians get an extra paid 4 week vacation again? as if Canada has no major problem that needs their attention.. if they cannot see the problems they just need to read my posts here.. We firstly do need to regulate the police as well as all of the bad politicians.. And there is a need to regulate even the type of people we even do let into Canada now for sure.. Thieves, liars, tax evaders, trouble makers, people abusers, children abusers, drug users and pushers, terrorists, religious extremists, sex maniacs, violence prone people should all for a start too be kept out..

Public exposure and prosecution of the major guilty persons serves as the best solution, deterrent to all now still too. Professionals, Politicians, police included now too. Where are the Justice Ministers really when they are needed? Elsewhere? Where? at their happy hour Bars..

And extra  these paid vacations for the Members of Parliament were all brought to you by the same happy hour Prime Minister Stephen Harper who had put his bad friends into power, even into the senate now too..  https://thenonconformer.wordpress.com/2010/02/23/pm-stephen-harper-needs-his-wings-clipped/

.

Tom Mulcair  NDP leader says Harper is ‘hiding’ behind prorogation as the prime minister is afraid to face questions about the burgeoning Senate expenses scandal.

“Medication errors led to severe harm or death in 36 Ontario patients:    In the first year of mandatory reporting, Ontario hospitals disclosed that 36 patients had suffered severe adverse events – 10 of them fatal – because of medication errors. Those errors included patients being given an excess dose of a drug or given it too often; having the wrong drug administered; or experiencing an unanticipated adverse reaction to a medicine. Medication mistakes led to the deaths of 10 patients and severely jeopardized the health of 26 others, leading to longer hospital stays and in some cases disability, says the report compiled for the Ontario government by the Institute for Safe Medication Practices” and just a tip of the giant iceberg of medical inadequacies..

One has to be ignorant not to know that Canada faces  too often a Youth unemployment Problem.. the federal Minister of Education should be aware of that but we do not have one.. While in Canada many people go to University  in Germany most people go to a trade school instead, so Germany has the less youth unemployment and is one of the most prosperous country  too.

What really peeves me off about this pretentious Conservative Government is just me waking up in my old age  and seeing that  they do not really work,  as they  have not done nothing good about it most of this list yet too. https://thenonconformer.wordpress.com/about-2/

“By our count, there were more than a dozen major things left hanging in the air when parliamentarians last warmed their benches. What really went on behind the scenes between Senator Mike Duffy and former PMO chief Nigel Wright remains a mystery. No one has identified the person or people behind the fraudulent robocalls that misdirected voters during the last federal election. The fate of Senator Pamela Wallin, whose improperly claimed expenses have been sent to the Mounties, is unclear. The relative happiness of backbench Conservative MPs is anybody’s guess, though apparently the PM’s new chief of staff has played diplomat over the summer. The government’s next move on Senate reform is in the air, pending the Supreme Court’s consideration of six questions the government asked about how to actually reform the chamber. The next Parliamentary Budget Officer has not been hired. The future of the Canada Job Grant, touted by the feds as a solution to the country’s skills gap, is in the air. The airplane that replaces the CF-18 fighter jet has not been identified. Europeans and Canadians still haven’t figured out how to trade freely. U.S. President Barack Obama still hasn’t made a decision about the future of the Keystone XL pipeline. A Canadian regulator hasn’t made its decision about the Northern Gateway pipeline through British Columbia’s interior. The government still hasn’t set emissions regulations for oil and gas producers. The government hasn’t entirely addressed how it will meet aboriginal Canadian demands that emerged from the Idle No More movement. And the prime minister hasn’t called byelections in a number of ridings that stand vacant. “

Hey  I get really peeved off since I took a more serious entry into provincial and federal politics.. they do very little to help Citizens.. the same old complaints tend to be ongoing. It seems all the elected officials of all the Political parties are still liars and thieves, they  use mostly  their offices to help  their Party get reelected, and to increase their own income.. and they think we are stupid not to notice it or to care about it too..  who is being fooled as to who they really are.. the officials themselves..

Liberal MP Jim Karygiannis

Toronto Liberal MP Jim Karygiannis is calling for speed limiters to be fitted to cars in order to prevent them from exceeding 150 km/h, in the wake of a fatal accident on Monday in which a speeding car slammed into a concrete pole, splitting the vehicle in half. He would not be so extreme,  hypocritical if he  had also demanded that breathalyzers be also installed on all new cars, as the impaired drivers still cause most of the accidents and not the car speeders, and also now if he rightfully demanded that there be no spending of any taxpayers money on any booze entertainment in any of the governments, since we can all readily know the harmful effect of alcohol on society in general as well. He also should demand also that the police in all parts of Canada pursue drunk drivers year around, police included and not just part time, or occasionally.. and he now should deal with the much too many drunk cops, politicians too, civil and public servants that  we have employed in Canada now too.

Drug or alcohol impaired vehicular driving by men and women and not the actual driving speed are still the key factor in the majority of the traffic accidents … http://thenonconformer.blogspot.com/2007/10/policing-facts-related-to-vehicular.html

AND IF YOU THINK I TRUST ANYTHING THE RCMP SAYS OR DOES, DO GET REAL.. ESPECIALLY WHEN TOO MANY AT LEAST 50 % OF CANADA’S POLICE OFFICERS TOO OFTEN ARE DRUNK.. RCMP INCLUDED.. THEIR EXCUSE IS THEY DRINK ALCOHOL DUE TO THE JOB PRESSURES.. WELL I DO NOT USE THAT FALSE EXCUSE. WE CAN READILY KNOW THE VICES THAT OFTEN FOLLOW DRINKING ALCOHOL https://thenonconformer.wordpress.com/2009/09/02/drink-alcohol-and-die/

Healthy eating and healthy living

Too many persons still do falsely still do think they can eat whatever they want, or do what they want personally and next they will not reap any negative Karma, they will not reap what they had sowed. Dream on! Guess why so many people are next sick now too..

AN OUNCE OF PREVENTION HERE TOO IS BETTER OVER  A POUND OF CURE!

In Canada hundreds of thousands of persons do annually die from heart diseases, cancer, diabetes still and why Is that? is it from smoking cigarettes and their  drinking alcohol too much? or what else?

The reality is that most people are still busy even doing their own thing, the professionals, doctors and nurses included now, they themselves do know very little about healthy food, healthy eating, or what basically causes cancer, heart diseases, diabetes. etc…

And too many persons still ignorant do mainly and wrongfully attribute diabetes solely to sugar consumption neglecting many other essential factors as well. The most common nutrition myth is probably that sugar causes diabetes. The main risk factors for Type 2 diabetes are not eating regularly, not eating smaller portions of food more often, or a diet high in calories, being overweight, and an inactive lifestyle. If you have diabetes, you still do need to watch your sugar and carbohydrate intake, with the help of your Registered Dietitian, to properly manage your blood sugar level. Fortunately, the complications of diabetes can be prevented, delayed, or slowed by controlling blood glucose levels to as close to the normal range as possible and this still does involves eating more regularly, and eating more proper foods as well. For all persons even a diabetic skipping meals is a bad disruption. It is important to not skip meals because it disrupts the blood sugar regulation. Some oral diabetes medications (like Metformin a first-line drug of choice for the treatment of type 2 diabetes ) should always also be taken with meals. Since most oral diabetes medications don’t work immediately (like for example a pain medication), but rather they have a cumulative effect to be therapeutic. It has been shown that keeping blood sugars as near to normal as possible helps reduce the long-term complications of diabetes. As a diabetic, you should not skip meals nut should take the oral diabetes medication everyday at approximately the same time. By skipping one’s medications as well, one is not getting the full benefit of them. Not skipping meals allows the body to achieve a steady blood sugar level in the body. For example, if a diabetic skips a meal their blood sugar could drop, which is called hypoglycemia which can lead to more serious medical aspects too..

In reality Canada’s major personal sicknesses, major causes of personal deaths are still mainly related to even the  basics of one’s bad food intake, or to one’s  lack of sleep, or a lack of exercise and even due to taking  bad drugs and one’s alcohol consumption plus also one’s personal failure to reduce or to deal properly with ones inadequate negative personal stresses that we all do too often encounter in real life.

10 Diet & Nutrition Myths Debunked
1 The most common nutrition myth is probably that sugar that mainly causes diabetes, first look elsewhere rather..
2 Myth- All Fats are bad It’s a long-held nutrition myth that all fats are bad. But the fact is, we all need fat.
3 Myth- Brown Sugar is better than White Sugar. The brown sugar sold at grocery stores is actually white granulated sugar with added molasses.
4 Myth- Brown Eggs are more nutritious than White Eggs Contrary to a widely believed nutrition myth, eggshell color has nothing to do with the quality, flavor, nutritive value, cooking characteristics, or shell thickness of an egg
5 Myth- Avoid seafood to lower blood cholesterol In fact, the dietary cholesterol found in seafood and other meats has little effect on blood cholesterol in most people.
6 Myth- Avoid carbohydrate to lose weight or that the carbohydrates promote insulin production
7 Myth- Avoid nuts as they are fattening, but if you can restrain yourself from overeating them, nuts can be a part of a healthy diet.
8 Myth- Eating for 2 is necessary during pregnancy
9 Myth- Skipping meals can help lose weight. The People who think skipping meals means weight loss do not understand how our bodies work.
A better approach is to eat smaller frequent healthy meals and snacks to keep your blood sugar balanced.
10 Myth- Red meat is bad for health. It is true that some studies have linked red meat with increased risk of heart disease, partly due to the saturated fat content. In fact, even chicken can contain as much saturated fat as lean cuts of beef or pork. Instead of excluding red meats, choose leaner cuts of beef and pork. For beef, choose eye of round, top round roast, top sirloin and flank; for pork, choose tenderloin and loin chops.
http://www.healthcastle.com/nutrition-myths.shtml

Myth 11 Brown sugar is healthier over white sugar.. basicaly they are the same.

Here is another sad truth, if you do not want to listen to the common sense, established health facts you can always find a liar who  will support your views but nevertheless you will reap what you sow in your health now still too

In a new report, a large group of American doctors urge kids and  teens to avoid energy drinks and only consume sports drinks in limited  amount. Florida pediatricians described cases of seizures, delusions, heart problems and kidney or liver damage in people who had drunk one or more  non-alcoholic energy drinks — including brands like Red Bull, Spike Shooter and Redline.

While it is true that all people do need to be energetic and not hyperactive, melancholy rather as well but first when we have learned to help ourselves we next can also help others.

Here are some more  important truths related to being healthy

1 Good food and good eating habits will even let you sleep better, and also help you you get a proper night sleep. Too many persons now do suffer as a result of their lack of sleep which affects negatively their health  and bery serioulsy

2 In the real world and in the ideal world your own mother, and not someone else firstly should have taught you how too even eat the proper food, plus as to what food is good and appropriate for you to eat, and even how to properly prepare it. Unfortunately as it is too often the case if your mother is not a good dietician or a great cook and/or she is also very ignorant on the subject so next will the rest of the family unacceptably be as well.

Now also our general education system itself still often fails to deal with the topic of staying healthy, what is good food, on good eating habits as well adequately. Kind of explains why so many doctors, nurses, professionals themselves do not eat the healthy, or proper food.

And we are next left to governments and big corporations, the big money hungry corporations who too often have hidden agendas and as a result they do present half or distorted truth, health facts and do not tell is all that we personally do need to know.

Ezek 34:4 The diseased have ye not strengthened, neither have ye healed that which was sick, neither have ye bound up that which was broken, neither have ye brought again that which was driven away, neither have ye sought that which was lost; but with force and with cruelty have ye ruled them. 5 And they were scattered, because there is no shepherd: and they became meat to all the beasts of the field, when they were scattered. 6 My sheep wandered through all the mountains, and upon every high hill: yea, my flock was scattered upon all the face of the earth, and none did search or seek after them.

3 Too many persons also do fail to understand, fail to realize the importance of a proper, adequately working food digestion system now as well. They firstly do fail to realize the importance of basic water consumptions in helping all of our food intake to digest and they do not drink enough water, or wrongfully consume caffeine, alcohol that causes more dehydration even, as well which leads to both digestion and heart, cancer problems often too. Knowing how your digestive system is supposed to work will help you.

Even before you eat, when you smell a tasty food, see it, or think about it, digestion begins. Saliva (say: suh-lye-vuh), or spit, begins to form in your mouth. Your digestive system started working even before you took the first bite of your food. And the digestive system will be busy at work on your chewed-up lfood  for the next few hours — or sometimes days, depending upon what you’ve eaten. This process, called digestion, allows your body to get the nutrients and energy it needs from the food you eat. So let’s find out what’s happening to that pizza, orange, and milk. When you do eat, the saliva breaks down the chemicals in the food a bit, which helps make the food mushy and easy to swallow.  http://kidshealth.org/kid/htbw/digestive_system.html

Now also next we have to understand what products do cause dehydration, such as coffee, alcohol, the products that do affect the stomach juices and one’s ability to properly digest foods and rather which can have a very negative effect on our heart, health.

4 Now add to this the fact that too many people fail to understand what is that it leads to one having diabetes next as well.. and the issue is not just your sugar consumptions. I am shocked as to how ignorant people are when it comes to the aspect of sugar consumption and how overboard they do also go..

Most People also do still fail to see  also still that salt is bad for you since it retains water in the blood  and increases one’s heart stress as a direct result.

5 Next we relatedly too often have the religious inclined discussions, and a lack of understanding on the danger or benefit of fat, meat, good and bad cholesterol.. or vegetarians versus non vegetarians. Here is the reality skinny persons too often die as much as fat people due to the major sicknesses too.. You need fats to survive and be healthy, but you need to choose the right ones.

There are also both good and bad fats and good and bad sugars. Also Sugar alone does not lead to diabetes, but rather one’s poor eating habits, eating meals irregularly or skipping them ..

Fat vs. Sugar – Which Is Worse?

The website for the McKinley Health Center at the University of Illinois states that fat is crucial for “normal growth and development, energy, absorbing certain vitamins, and maintaining cell membranes.” The United States Department of Agriculture now recommends that fat make up 20 percent to 35 percent of daily calorie intake, and some nutritionists encourage an even higher percentage of fat consumption. Heather Fleming, a nutrition consultant for Conscious Nutrition, recommends two servings of healthy fat per meal, for a total of six servings per day. Ms. Fleming says that healthy fats are essential and are like “oil for the body…Our cells are made of phospholipids, and that’s where the healthy fats…go to reenergize the cells.” http://www.docshop.com/2008/08/12/fat-vs-sugar-which-is-worse

Still we all do need to deal personally with all these aspects and to get, have a proper understanding here now still as well and not just absurdly say Any fat or Sugar Is Ruining Your Health or say that one can eat whatever one wants.

also do see my health blog for more info.. http://stayinhealth.wordpress.com/ or https://thenonconformer.wordpress.com/2011/05/10/more-competent-doctors-are-needed-and-not-more-useless-nurses-or-more-beds/

.. get a healthy life and not a sick one.

Three of the clearly sad aspects of Medicare, medical care in Canada too often are that
1: Too many of the sick patients have spend a lifetime getting sick and they seem next to want an immediate instant, permanent cure, even without any effort, work , inconvenience, pain or fuss on their own parts. Here they do too often unrealistically expect rather the pretentious ambulance doctor to even come to their home and find, and next to deliver an instant medical cure for their major ailment.
2: Also they do all mostly fail to realize that the family doctor he or she cannot basically help them when they develop a major sickness, in the 20 minutes allotted to him or her every 3 months for he or she firstly basically cannot realistically help the patient, they thus really cannot discover their major sickness for he or she does not have the time, resources to do so. Hiring more nurses receptionists helps nothing here
too.
3: Only the overcrowded already major hospitals have the staff, resources, equipment to help people who have a serious sickness and they tend to have their own schedules, priorities. They work weekdays 9-4 only.

And Fourthly even the generally over priced price gouging, often not fully medically competent pharmacist, pharmacies, and the dermatologist included are basically no help in what they recommend, prescribe if you have a major illness to.. for example a major unknown foot disease..

Now with Canada rapidly aging seniors population medical care will certainly only get worse based on how pretentions and our still mostly useless our health ministers, politicians too tend to ne in all this too.
Canada is already known for having bad pretentious civil and public servants that do not care about others good health too. https://thenonconformer.wordpress.com/2011/05/10/more-competent-doctors-are-needed-and-not-more-useless-nurses-or-more-beds/

PS: Doctors are not Gods.  Even the good Doctors are not Gods, they do not  know it all, some are rather still stupid when it comes to effectively  helping  a sick person. The professional quality of a medical doctors lies not just in his university and clinical training but it also lies in the degree of his or her  actual  field experience and   being kept updated with the medical advancements. Kinda of explains while some doctors have not been initially able to  help me with my severe medical problems and thus they have too often wrongfully forced me to seek the expertise of many other doctors next too. Doctors are not Gods, some rather are still  very bad sinners who do for billing purposes now  lie and pretend that they are good doctors still too. Self regulation of the bad doctors too often is still mere masturbations. We need an enforced  federal Bill that will tighten the  regulation of doctors and clarify the obligations of the medical and law-enforcement communities to report, communicate, act upon all of the suspected physician misconduct and patient neglect,  abuse.  https://thenonconformer.wordpress.com/2011/05/10/more-competent-doctors-are-needed-and-not-more-useless-nurses-or-more-beds/
