American news is much more interesting it seems

  palin

The political scene in Canada this summer is boring, stale in comparison. Even the  Opinion polls show the Liberals and the Conservatives stalled. The Liberals have been unable to gain a convincing lead despite the economic crisis that has been plaguing the Conservative government, and the Conservatives have never ever been  able to reach their coveted majority territory in the polls. Neither Michael Ignatieff nor Stephen Harper have surprisngly too resonated strongly with the cold, luke warm, unemotional Canadian public.

Boxer Arturo Gatti, the pride of Montreal and Atlantic City, is gone. Apparently murdered in the US after a jealous, drunken argument with his Brazilian wife, 23-year-old Amanda Rodrigues, the mother of his 10-month-old son, Arturo Jr. Is our Prime Minister Stephen Harper going to say he too is not a true  Canadian now? especially since he died outside of Canada?

Then there is the South Carolina Governor Mark Sanford who, after a complete disappearance where nobody knew his whereabouts, turned out to have been in Argentina with his mistress – something which, among other things, has seriously tarnished his credentials as a “family values” Republican, Conservative

The US Congress also has been occupied with the confirmation hearings of President Obama’s first Supreme Court nominee, Sonia Sotomayor. If confirmed (which seems likely) she would be the first Hispanic person to sit on the United States Supreme Court.

Sarah Palin still livens things up though. She is an assertive,  charismatic figure known as well as for her combative style, family, Conservative, Christian values, her “folksy” and “down to earth” charm. Her resignation as governor of Alaska, in advance of the July 4th weekend, was really now unexpected.  This resignation marks yet another chapter in the  turbulent political career. Palin has been a source of love, hate, fascination, interest  to supporters , detractors, liberals others alike. Cause firstly there are few women in politics never mind a professing Christian Pentecostal one. It is true that some of the media, personal attacks she has faced have been vicious, immoral, unfair, wrong and that in some cases they have included inappropriate jokes about her family too. Bill Clinton saw his personal life the subject of front page news and comedic punchlines over his sad Monica Lewinsky affair, and Barack Obama now also had faced much hardship over his association with controversial preacher Jeremiah Wright, others. This is part of the job? Even George Bush went downhill in support because of the attack he also faced.. But they all clearly went overboard in attacking Sarah Palin now and still do.

Although she Sarah Palin seems not to be able to handle the pressure in Alaska how would she make it in  Washington DC? I have to admit while I supported her yet  I still could not support the many inconsistency between what she said she and her family said they had believed and next what they actually morally practiced. Adultery, sex outside of marriage included. Questionable expense accounts too.. No secret she resigned because of the  mounting costs of her legal bills and the law suits she was facing.

Obama also still is finding out too politics is not all fun and games. “Obama has made it his priority to overhaul the US healthcare system, and expand coverage to the 46 million Americans without health insurance.  “This isn’t about me,” Mr Obama insisted.  “This isn’t about politics. This is about a health care system that is breaking America’s families, breaking America’s businesses, and breaking America’s economy.”  All of the plans under consideration would require Americans to take out insurance, and would bar insurance companies from denying coverage to people with pre-existing conditions.  The House committees’ joint bill and the Senate health committee bills would also create a new, publicly run health plan, which they hope would compete with private insurers and drive down prices.  The Senate Finance Committee bill is not expected to include a “public option”, but would instead set up non-profit medical co-operatives to compete with private insurers. ” http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/americas/8160065.stm

The great Rev Katherine Khulman has also had her share of crtics from without and within now too. Ironically it was her own negative experiences, her divorce actually from a man that was once married to someone else, that humbled her, broke  her and made her next a great vessel for God. The idea of celibacy may be hard for some of you, but even Kathryn Kuhlman realized she had to come out of the marriage she was in. The man divorced his wife and children to marry Kathryn. It must be done the way she did it. Note: I respect her for having done that. Maybe Sarah Palin will come back transformed too?

What they often do call news is mere lies, spin doctors, not real facts

cbcnews

– Its is undeniable reality that most of Churches today, at least over half,  are still   often cultural, social  groups, not real Christian Churches, and that includes both the white and black, ethnic churches.

– Obama election shows deep racial divide in church or the deep theological divides? or what is accepted in one denomination can not be accepted in others. The liberal churches clearly voted for Obama.

As posted on the net.

Obama election shows deep racial or a religious divide in church supposedly says ” The Associated Press – NEW YORK (AP) – The barrier-crossing election of Barack Obama did little to bridge the deep racial divide in American churches. In fact, some clergy say it has only served to underscore their differences. While nonwhite Christians voted overwhelmingly for Obama, most white Christians backed John McCain, according to exit polls. The Rev. Al Mohler, president of the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, the denomination’s flagship school, said white evangelicals backed McCain because of his opposition to abortion rights, not because of the race of either candidate. According to Associated Press exit polls, 34 percent of white Protestants voted for Obama, while 65 percent went with McCain. Obama won the overall Roman Catholic vote, but white Catholics backed McCain by a slim majority, 52 percent to 47 percent. Among white Christians, the racial gap was most pronounced with evangelicals: 74 percent backed McCain, 24 percent backed Obama. The pattern is not new and fits the larger trend of white voters overall, the majority of whom voted for McCain..” ignores the fact the white Christians  tend to be from the more traditional established Christian  churches.

– Religious  White  people’s  racial values was, is not the only issue for many of them now still not supporting Obama. Many white people still also had voted for Obama, and note this that many white people, rightfully or wrongfully,  oppose Obama’s socialism which they tend to  seem to see as as another form of communism too. Many religious persons still do see Obama rather rightfully as a non Christian

-Also the Black Christians and clearly wrongfully had supported their own  race over adequate religious values  for Obama’s reality of being a true Christian is still very much debatable. He supports drinking alcohol, gays, abortion and who knows what, and  he is the first political candidate to be addressed as an Anti Christ by many because  of his inadequate Christian beliefs, or  because he  is a non Christian?

“”We worship an awesome God in the blue states,” Barack Obama declared during his 2004 Democratic convention keynote. Thunderous applause greeted that line, in part because Democrats felt frustrated that they’d been unfairly cast as a secular or even anti-religion party, and by the political dominance of religious conservatives.”

Ten Faith Factors for Election Night

1.How Many Obamagelicals Are There? – It might seem farfetched that a socialist-terror-lovin’-pro-abortion candidate like Obama could win any evangelical Christians but he’s been courting them fervently since he began his presidential run. The key the 40% of evangelicals who call themselves “moderate” or “liberal.” Point of reference: John Kerry won 21% of white evangelicals, Gore 18%. Bill Clinton in 1996 won 26%.

2.  Will Palin Turn Out the “Religious Right”? — By picking Sarah Palin, John McCain gambled that she’d be able to rev up the evangelical “base.” Even as her popularity has fallen generally, evangelicals still love her (some even believing she was sent to battle the anti-Christ.) Assuming most conservative evangelicals vote for McCain, the second question is: how many will show up? Point of reference: white evangelicals accounted for 23% of the electorate in 2004.

3. Do Midwestern Evangelicals Split With Their Brethren? — Recent polls have showed Obama trailing badly among evangelicals in Florida and Colorado but doing quite well with them in Michigan, Ohio and

Pennsylvania. If he succeeds there, he may have tapped into regional differences in style, theology and politics and launch a new era in faith-and-politics punditry, in which we no longer talk about “the evangelical vote” as a geographically uniform phenomenon.4. Will Catholics Ignore Their Bishops? – The overall Catholic vote has gone with the popular vote winner every election since 1968. Catholic Bishops have been urging Catholic voters to vote for pro-life candidates but a majority of Catholic voters are now pro-choice so it remains to be seen what influence the church will have. (Obama is also winning with the 100-year-old-nuns bloc) Another factor in Obama’s favor: a higher percentage of the Catholic vote will be Latino this year. Last election, George W. Bush won the Catholic 52%-46%.

5. Can Obama Finally Bowl a Strike With Skeptical White Catholics? – During the primaries, Obama did poorly with white Catholics, often working class ethnics or their offspring. Remember his feeble attempt to curry favor through bowling? They tend to be culturally conservative and haven’t voted for a Democrat since 1996. On the other hand, they’re especially concerned about the economy this year, and Joe Biden has been trying to bond with them as a fellow “cultural Catholics.” Point of reference: In 2004, Bush won 56% of white Catholics, Kerry 43%.

6. Will Whitebread Protestants Back the Black Guy? – Recent polls show Democrats gaining with a group that had leaned Republican for most of the past few decades – Mainline Protestants. It appears that while Sarah Palin energized evangelicals, she may have alienated some Mainliners. In 2004, they went for President George W. Bush 54%-46%.

7. Will Latino Protestants Vote Their Values or the Pocketbook? – One positive trend for Obama will likely be the shift of Latinos from the Republican side, where they resided in 2004, to the Democrats. The hidden religious story: most of the shift is driven by Latino Protestants. Many are evangelical and liked Bush’s Christian faith and his conservative positions on social issues (gay marriage, abortion) but have shifted to Obama because of the economy and concerns about immigration.

8. How Will the Kinda-Sorta Religious Vote? – In recent elections, the most religious you were, the more likely you were to vote Republican. This is known as the God Gap, which will still certainly exist. But watch for two things: among weekly churchoers how big is McCain’s margin? Bush won that group 61%-39% Second, Kerry last time beat Bush among more occasional churchgoers 53%-47%. Will Obama increase that margin?

9. Will Jews Schlep to Republican Side? – This only really matters in

Florida, and even there it doesn’t matter as much as you’d think (Jews made up 5% of the electorate there in 2004). Early polls had Obama struggling among Jews – in part because of fears about his former church’s connections to Louis Farrakhan — but more recently he’s caught up, possibly because Jews fear that Sarah Palin is an extreme evangelical. Or possibly the Sarah Silverman factor. Jews reportedly went about 75%-25% for Kerry.10. Will the GOP Become the ROP? – Will Republicans become the Religiously Oriented Party? In 2004, white evangelicals made up 36% of Bush voters.
Will that go up or down? If it becomes an even more dominant force within the party, how will that shape either the way McCain governs if he wins or, if he loses, how the Republicans re-invent themselves.

Carla Hinton  Religion Editor http://blog.newsok.com/religionandvalues/2008/10/31/389

so what do you say  about the faith factor…

Though the economy clearly was the defining issue of the election, Obama forged a new coalition by luring millions of religious left voters who had avoided Democrats in recent years.

In short:

He narrowed the God Gap. Bush beat Kerry among weekly church-goers by 61%-39%. McCain is beating Obama 54%-44% Most of that gain appears to have come from Protestants rather than Catholics

He won Catholics back. Early exit polls indicate he won 54% of the Catholic vote compared to 45% for John McCain. George W. Bush won the Catholic vote 52%-46%. Most of those gains came from Catholics who don’t attend mass weekly.

He also improved among white Catholics, according to the early exit polls. Bush got 56%-43% As of now, McCain lead by just 51%-49% This was despite an aggressive push by more than 50 Bishops to encourage Catholics to focus on abortion as the central issue.

He man real gainst among Evangelicals. Evangelicals and Born Again Christians made up a greater portion of the electorate this year than last election but that didn’t all accrue to McCain’s benefit, as predict. Obama improved slightly on a national level, getting 25% compared to Kerry’s 21%

But far more important, he made significant progress in the pivotal rustbelt states that won him the election. For instance, evangelicals flooded the polls in Ohio and Obama significantly improved on Kerry’s showing.

He attracted more Mainline Protestants – Though shifting toward the center in recent years, mainline Protestants — once a core of the Republican party — – still went for the Republicans in 2004. The exit polls didn’t ask specifically about mainline Protestants but it appears Obama improved slightly with this group..

He energized the lightly religious. Though secular voters already voted Democratic, they did so by an even bigger margin this year. Even more important, a quarter of the electorate says they go to worship services but only a few times a year. Kerry won that group with 54%-45%. Obama won 61%-38%

BREAKING: Catholic Shift to Obama

The rap on Obama during the primaries was that he couldn’t win because he struggled with Catholics. Apparently, he got past that. Early exit polls indicate he won 54% of the Catholic vote compared to 45% for John McCain….

Obama Luring Rest Belt Evangelicals But Not Southerners

Obama seems to have made far more progress with Born Again Christians in rust belt states than in the South. Based on preliminary exit polls: Florida: 78%-20% (McCain-Obama) Virginia: 78%-21% Ohio: 70%-29% Indiana: 66%-32%

BREAKING: Weekly Churchgoers vs. Occasionals

One thing that puzzles me about these numbers: Obama’s progress among Catholics is with those who don’t attend mass weekly. But among Protestants, he improved among those who do attend weekly. One possible theory: abortion. Mass-attending Catholics are more likely…

Accuracy Of Polls a valid Question In Itself

Polls is still like adding in arithmetic, just  leave out some numbers and you get a wrong answer. As simple as that,

https://thenonconformer.wordpress.com/2008/11/07/what-they-often-do-call-news-is-mere-lies-spin-doctors-not-real-facts/

70 percent of all persons going to all of the Christians Churches are still not born again in reality yet.. There are born again Baptist, Brethren, Evangelicals, Pentecostals, and also now Catholics too The born again segment is large and diverse really is not true when there is still only one church, one Jesus Christ, You are truly born again or your are not born again. If you are a true born again Christian you do not support Gay marriages, drunkenness, alcohol, drugs, smoking, abortion like Barrack Obama or Joe Biden did, does. It is also hypocrisys  to say that you personally do support good Christian moral values but for you and your family not live them too. Reminds you of anyone? What about Sarah Palin.

“Born again Christians” or the “Evangelicals” are defined for a start as the professing Christian  people who said they have made a personal commitment to Jesus Christ, they are married to Him,  that is still important in their life today and who also indicated they believe that when they die they will go to Heaven because they had confessed their sins and had accepted Jesus Christ as their savior. They generally are abstainers from Alcohol, Smoking, drunkenness, drugs, adultery, sex outside of marriage . ” This includes their believing, saying the Bible is the word of God, asserting that the Bible is accurate in all that it teaches; and describing God as the all-knowing, all-powerful, perfect deity who created the universe and still rules it today saying their faith is very important in their life today; believing they have a personal responsibility to share their religious beliefs about Christ with non-Christians; Believing they must help all the poor and needy persons too, believing that Satan exists; believing that eternal salvation is possible only through grace, not works; believing that Jesus Christ lived a sinless life on earth; . Being classified as an evangelical is not dependent upon church attendance or the denominational affiliation of the church attended supposedly..”  Charismatics and Pentecostals are part of this group even if some falsely do not want to accept them. Catholics and Mormons, Jehovah witnesses are   not a part of this grouping.

“Notional Christians “are those who consider themselves to be Christian but do not meet the not born again criteria  such as  Catholics, Mormons, Jehovah witnesses they really are not Christians, mere pretenders, imposters, foolish virgins according to the evangelicals.

A poll a sample of only one thousand supposedly born again Christians is meaningless as it already has a built in error of 70 percent.

Conservatives are Notional Christians , Evangelical Born again Christians, and non Christians, non liberal, non democrats

It is difficult to understand the media fuss about Christian activists helping to secure the nominations of at least eight Canadian federal Conservative candidates in the next election. It is  no less  difficult not to understand why no one opposes the election of Alcoholics, or the use of Alcohol to try to secure votes.. but they will oppose the election of Christian persons, It is not difficult to understand why some newspapers would splash a headline on the topic across their front page, thereby starting the entire insanity in the first place.

…Example of a stupid   Poll, you  include the alcoholics, drug addicts, smokers,  as born again Christians . Never!

False Quebec bashing over Harper the loser

“I knew would happen, after the corrupt and scandal-plagued Conservatives failed to get a majority because Quebecers were too smart to fall for Harper’s vote-buying bribes and negative advertising, the embittered cynics trot out the letters bashing Quebecers as selfish separatists. In a letter about the interprovincial bridge proposal, David Hooper whined that “the majority of voters in the riding of Gatineau” supported the Bloc Québécois. That’s odd, considering Bloc MP Richard Nadeau received just 29 per cent of the vote. By no measure is this a majority – in fact, more than 70 per cent (a majority) of Gatineau voters supported federalist parties.Besides, voter turnout in Quebec was 61 per cent, and only 29 per cent of Gatineau voters chose the Bloc. That equals less than 18 per cent of the voting population. Let’s use some common sense here. Just because the election might not have gone the way Mr. Hooper and Mr. Clark wanted is no excuse for Quebec-bashing.”Mark Johnson,Nepean

http://www.canada.com/ottawacitizen/news/letters/story.html?id=f4127e33-5e4f-4225-a2e3-d68bdfd3e36b

Harper should resign. It is the honourable thing to do. He boxed the party in. They dare not force yet another election, but to avoid one they must compromise with the will of the majority. Harper has given the Liberals time to pick a stronger leader and time to rebuild their war chest. After two minority governments the Conservatives must make changes if they are to win a majority. A new leader is essential. The message from this election is clear. The majority of voters do not want Harper as their prime minister. It is time for him to go.

http://www.orilliapacket.com/ArticleDisplay.aspx?e=1258306

Canada’s Prime Minister Stephen Harper who clearly really does not care about the good welfare of all the citizens of Canada next got his redneck conservative supporters distortions of why he had lost the 2008 federal election and , did not get a majority, need to see that Hamper is the one step forward, two steps backward loser rather and not falsely blame Quebec for  any of this

Hypocrisy

Christian Magazines, Churches, pastors, Newspapers, news media, TV, radio are in the sales, marketing, prostituting  business also.. so they report, print controversial issues and take sides with the majority group often as well.. they also do tend like to lock on the supposed winners, winning topics, and band wagon on them and not in fairness , honesty, and they do avoid the  other less popular, too controversial  issues.

I was surprised to firstly note how many Canadian, professing Christian and Christian family values groups openly state their support of evangelical prime minister of Canada, Stephen Harper  but they do not mention the fact that he is a liar, tends to abuse others, bully them, to break his own promises, likes to drink alcohol, which are certainly not good family values, or good Christian Values. We can make the same criticism of some of the US politicians and their poor values  now too.

Hypocrisy  is what it still is. Baal Kissing as well!
and what do you call it? typical, and more lying, untrustworthy politicians

Reverend Todd Bentley versus Republican Mom Sarah Palin

It is no well kept secret that too many  Bullies, Abusers, selfish, self centered, even professing Christians  persons, too often with hidden motives and agendas too,  have been on the internet  using the topic  of the Florida Lakeland Revival Evangelist Reverend Todd Bentley, a latter rain Pentecostal healer too,  to hopefully attract readers to their own sites, and to bring to other persons their own often distorted point of views.
.
And  now they rather  have now next refreshingly turned now to a new subject, the Republican Pentecostal Christian Sarah Palin as their main live bait to get  unsuspecting suckers,  readers  to their sites.
.
The past bashing of Todd Bentley has now clearly run out of steam for many especially since admittedly now confirmed  too  he is a typical normal sinful person, a too typical inadequate, bad  pastor, evangelist we seem to find in most denominations, much too many churches still too.
.
So these bad posters or hate mongerers it seems now instead on uplifting Jesus Christ now  some of these bad professing Christian  posters have started  to bash any other professing Christians who access their sites..  wow and unbelievable still too.. forewarned is fore armed.. ..
  .
Often these same bashers, posters, critics really are incapable of it, so they   still do not discuss the Bible, or now even post any serious Bible verses, thus they like to remain as the devil’s advocates, the devil’s helpers, critics, working for the devil and not God clearly too.  Yes their old bad habits seem to die hard for them now too..
.
The nomination of Republican vice President Sarah Palin has also certainly sparked  an interest again into Pentecostal religion and  we are next going for sure get to see more of this too..
  .
Pentecostalism is now mostly a revived New Testament form of Biblical Christianity. It is now once again a major world wide Charismatic branch of Christianity   and now many persons world wide as well as in the Americas do seek, do want to know seriously what is difference basically  about this Christian religion from the other existing differing Christian religions.
.
After all a normal,  genuine believer, Christian is a follower of Christ, the Bible and not any specific church, fellowship, denomination too. As to why some of them  they want to know more about her religion it seems it  is also still questionable..
.
And I thought that all of the professing Christians were to be decent, kind, lving persons or is this how you too do now  find out all those that are real christians and those who clearly are not still too?
.
(John 13:34 KJV)  A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another.
(John 15:12 KJV)  This is my commandment, That ye love one another, as I have loved you.
(John 15:17 KJV)  These things I command you, that ye love one another.
(Rom 13:8 KJV)  Owe no man any thing, but to love one another: for he that loveth another hath fulfilled the law.
(1 Th 4:9 KJV)  But as touching brotherly love ye need not that I write unto you: for ye yourselves are taught of God to love one another.
(1 Pet 1:22 KJV)  Seeing ye have purified your souls in obeying the truth through the Spirit unto unfeigned love of the brethren, see that ye love one another with a pure heart fervently:
(1 John 3:11 KJV)  For this is the message that ye heard from the beginning, that we should love one another.
(1 John 3:23 KJV)  And this is his commandment, That we should believe on the name of his Son Jesus Christ, and love one another, as he gave us commandment.
(1 John 4:7 KJV)  Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God.
(1 John 4:11 KJV)  Beloved, if God so loved us, we ought also to love one another.
(1 John 4:12 KJV)  No man hath seen God at any time. If we love one another, God dwelleth in us, and his love is perfected in us.
(2 John 1:5 KJV)  And now I beseech thee, lady, not as though I wrote a new commandment unto thee, but that which we had from the beginning, that we love one another.
 (John 8:31 KJV)   If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed;
(John 13:35 KJV)  By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another.
 .
Hidden agendas, the world is full of it, many people have hidden agendas, Pastors, Ministers, politicans, cops  too. Sadly some people they tend  present their own “facts,” but fall short in truthfulness  for they tend to falsely  have a hidden agenda, and often they want to be falsely personally worshipped and live in sin too.
.
IT IS NOW MORE  RARE BUT I DO ALSO NOW STILL GET BULLIED BY RELIGIOUS BULLIES, ABUSERS TOO..

The WRONGFULLY STILL Unrepentant  bully’s problem is that he or she is one of those bad persons  who only feels truly alive when voicing hostility and contempt for his “enemies.” Without that, he or she starts gasping for air. It’s his nature.. self-destructive” ..  clearly these immoral  Bully, Basher of others, Abusers of others has a disappointed, deflated ego, negative self worth,  most likely related to past unresolved guilt, as a result  of  that   the bully, he or she, tries falsely to   build  their ego up by bashing, hating others, by being an antagonists against  his proclaimed enemies, which too often also  is most people , for  he or she no longer trust anyone, and Abusers this is a common very typical approach, fact in the character build up of Bullies, Bashers, but their approach is futile, the subsequent feeling of self worth dissipates too quickly, are actually replaced by guilt,  and his ego, self worth likely needs to be recharged with new hate.. and is replaced with more and larger hatred of the others.  I have seen this type of wrong behavior not just in bad managers, bad politicians, bad persons, but  in alcoholics, and most often in Albertan rednecks ,but also  in religious   fundamentals evangelicals who promote hated towards Pentecostal Christians as well, and  now as well as the crooked pastor wrongfully  fighting for control over others. Public exposure and prosecution of these bad persons here too services everyone’s best interest.
  .
Telling lies, half truths is too  too difficult, for you have to remember the lies you had said, and the truth as well, and most people cannot do that , thus they rather do as a result go crazy.. So Me I do not write to please men or women, to be politically correct, and I prefer the to deal with, write the simple truths, I also do readily share the good things I have learned freely

 .
Is 2:22 Cease to trust in [weak, frail, and dying] man, whose breath is in his nostrils [for so short a time]; in what sense can he be counted as having intrinsic worth?

Telling lies, half truths is too  too difficult, for you have to remember the lies you had said, and the truth as well, and most people cannot do that , thus they rather do as a result go crazy.. So Me I do not write to please men or women, to be politically correct, and I prefer the to deal with, write the simple truths, I also do readily share the good things I have learned freely

For certainty also because of the demonic opposition the devil will try to discourage you from finding out reading about the Holy spirit, Charismatics, Pentecostals and the Bible. I know I have experienced this myself the last  40 years. So my sites will reflect, show you what I have learned, found out on these subjects for a start.

Is 2:22 Cease to trust in [weak, frail, and dying] man, whose breath is in his nostrils [for so short a time]; in what sense can he be counted as having intrinsic worth?

    >> Killing babies (abortion) is a horrific sin that must stop.

This is a very impressive speech by Sarah Palin to all Americans and thus it really show why it is no surprise now that the Democrats they to falsely abuse her, bash her now.

Sarah Palin and the Deborah Anointing

After 49 million abortions since 1973, America needs a bold, Holy Ghost-filled woman to model pro-life values in the White House.

whenever I read such one sided, pretentious hypocritical statements being made by any professing Christian now I am clearly reminded that often the very same persons wrongfully tend not to object or preach against marital divorce that God equally hates… 30 percent of professing evangelicals practice divorce, adultery.. thus such real unacceptable hypocrisy here too.

Too often women have been put down by men..

Give me the direct verse that says women are called only to be evangelists The word missionary has the same root in Greek as apostle; both mean one sent forth. Today’s missionary is only a true apostle if he has been sent specifically by God, and if this apostolic authority is operating in his ministry. “The word apostle in the Greek is apostollos or “one sent forth” as an ambassador of the Gospel. An apostle is a minister sent directly by God to do a specific work. A number of the saints of God and even Jesus himself were called apostles in the New Testament. The Apostle is defined as a messenger, and yet the same description is almost given to the Evangelist too, the difference is the word special is added to the Apostle.. Even the office of elders is mis-defined today, and is limited to being pastors, and spiritual guides, when we all can know that in the new testament, the apostles, and prophets, were also called elders now.,.. not just the pastors or evangelists, teachers.. In the he New testament Evangelists, plural term too, they were also healers, not just preachers, traveling missionaries. Read the Bible for yourself and see this fact, truth. (Rom 16:7 KJV) Salute Andronicus and Junia, my kinsmen, and my fellow prisoners, who are of note among the apostles, who also were in Christ before me. Imagine that Junia is a woman, and is proclaimed to be an additional apostle as well…

As far as I am concerned a Women can be a Church Pastor if she has her husband’s permission.. and even  the vice president of the United States, or a President. We can use more Women like her now in Canadian Politics for it has been too clearly evident that the men have not being doing a good enough job or we would not be having so many minority governments, and useless elections in Canada.

In the Old Testament Miriam was a prophetess (Exodus 15:20) as was Huldah (2 Kings 22:14) and Noadiah (Neh. 6:14).  Prophetesses from God spoke with authority and was ordained by God that they did so.  But, most pertinent to the topic at hand is Deborah who was a judge in Israel (Judges 4:4-5).  Deborah exercised governmental power over the nation of Israel.  She was most definitely in a place of authority over men in government and there is no condemnation of her being a judge found anywhere in scripture.

But, some might ask if Deborah was in a place of authority in Israel, why can’t a woman be in a place of authority in the church?

(1 Tim. 3:2; Titus 1:6).  Also, 1 Tim. 2:11-12 says, “Let a woman quietly receive instruction with entire submissiveness. 12 But I do not allow a woman to teach or exercise authority over a man, but to remain quiet. 13 For it was Adam who was first created, and then Eve.”

(Rom 16:7 KJV)  Salute Andronicus and Junia, my kinsmen, and my fellowprisoners, who are of note among the apostles, who also were in Christ before me.

Well anyway there was a women Apostle, Junia, note worthy too amongst the Apostles, and she had a place of authority.. an apostle is a Missionary.. women can be mssionaries on the foreign mission field.. but not in a local church? it all sounds confusing to me too.

I thought that Christian women also were not allowed to have short hair cuts, and what do husbands allow it in the  church now too?  A variety of more fundamental Christian religions discourage short hair on women, some congregations prohibit hair cuts beyond a trim for women. It tends to vary congregation to congregation; as opposed to being an aspect of a particular denomination. I know the belief is based on passages in the old testament, likely the those that indicate that women should not try to look like men. These denominations also tend to prohibit pants on women, jewelry beyond a watch and wedding band, make-up, etc. Are they extremists or legalists too?

I want you to realize that the head of every man is Christ, and the head of the woman is man, and the head of Christ is God. 4 Every man who prays or prophesies with his head covered dishonors his head. 5 And every woman who prays or prophesies with her head uncovered dishonors her head—it is just as though her head were shaved. 6 If a woman does not cover her head, she should have her hair cut off; and if it is a disgrace for a woman to have her hair cut or shaved off, she should cover her head. 7 A man ought not to cover his head, since he is the image and glory of God; but the woman is the glory of man. 8 For man did not come from woman, but woman from man; 9 neither was man created for woman, but woman for man. 10 For this reason, and because of the angels, the woman ought to have a sign of authority on her head.
11 In the Lord, however, woman is not independent of man, nor is man independent of woman. 12 For as woman came from man, so also man is born of woman. But everything comes from God. 13 Judge for yourselves: Is it proper for a woman to pray to God with her head uncovered? 14 Does not the very nature of things teach you that if a man has long hair, it is a disgrace to him, 15 but that if a woman has long hair, it is her glory? For long hair is given to her as a covering. 16 If anyone wants to be contentious about this, we have no other practice—nor do the churches of God. I Corinthians 11:3-6

1 Cor. 11:2-16 – essentially, women should cover their heads in church, and men should not. Some interpret this as being a thing of long vs. short hair.

1 Peter 3:3 – women shouldn’t put too much emphasis on outer beauty, like braiding their hair.

One of the most popular views today is that the head covering was actually the woman’s hair. The exegesis of the text that adopts this view keys in on verse 15. “…but that if a woman has long hair, it is her glory? For long hair is given to her as a covering.”  It is quite plain.

It reveals that the early generation of believers understood the head covering to be a cloth veil—not long hair. As Tertullian quoted in an earlier post indicated, even the women who did not wish to follow Paul’s teaching were not claiming that Paul was talking about long hair. Rather, they simply wore a small cloth in minimal obedience to his teaching.

Numbers 6:1-21 – Nazarite vow – the Nazarite shaves his head at the beginning of the vow, and then cannot cut his hair for the duration of the vow. The character Samson (as in Samson and Delilah) was a Nazarite. in Numbers 6: 5,6, and 13 we read, “All the days of the vow of his separation there shall no razor come upon his head: until the days be fulfilled, in the which he separateth himself unto the Lord, he shall be holy, and shall let the locks of the hair of his head grow. All the days that he separateth himself unto the lord he shall come at no dead body. and this is the law of the Nazarite, when the days of his separation are fulfilled: he shall be brought unto the door of the tabernacle of the congregation.”

or was it men not being allowed to have long hair?  I Corinthians 11:14 says, “Doth not even nature itself teach you, that, if a man have long hair, it is a shame unto him?”

    .

Has God called pastors to be CEOs of religious organizations, or has he called men to be spiritual leaders over the churches of Christ? Neither… the elders run the church, and pastors are just one of the many church elders.. Even if she is a woman,, BASED ON ISOLATED, DISTORTED VERSES SOME PERSONS WOULD HAVE US MAKE a false Positive Confession of our faith. God still Is Not A Respecter of Persons is a truth we need to always remember too    https://witnessed.wordpress.com/2009/07/20/kathryn-kuhlman/
