I was reading the many New media comments about John Baird is unexpectedly leaving federal politics they sounded mostly like obituaries where you do not say anything bad, negative about the dead. Baird might be a rat leaving a sinking ship?

Mr. Baird should apologize for his active encouragement of Israel’s brute and ugly occupation and its apartheid policies. He should apologize for failing to promote those things Canadians hold dear such as freedom, dignity and human rights and for replacing those ideals with an outspoken support of Israel’s clear and undisputed violations of international law. For his strong stands against countries with anti-gay laws, Baird earned the enmity of REAL Women of Canada, a socially conservative women’s group. Recently he was a false attack dog, for prime minister Stephen Harper’s pit-bull in his speaking his nonsense against the Russian Takeover of Crimea, the supposed Russia’s incursions into Ukraine, and was openly critical of the United Nations because it did not support Israel.

John Baird joined the Canadian government’s condemnation of the “barbaric” attack on the Paris offices of Charlie Hebdo magazine that left a dozen people dead. Canada stands united with France against acts of terrorism. “We want to condemn in the strongest terms, this barbaric act. To see 12 people, including two or three law enforcement officials killed in downtown Paris is just horrific,” he said. “I immediately placed a call to my counterpart, to say that we stand in solidarity with the French people at this time.”

Baird has recently been working to secure the release of an accused terrorist Egyptian-Canadian Al-Jazeera journalist Mohamed Fahmy from a Cairo, Egypt prison. Fahmy, who was arrested in 2013 and has been in jail since was sentenced to at least seven years in prison on terrorism-related charges last year in a trial. He was over their coverage of the violent crackdown on Islamist protests following the military overthrow of President Mohammed Morsi in 2013. Egyptian authorities accused him of providing a platform for Morsi’s Muslim Brotherhood, now declared a terrorist organization. The family of Mohamed Fahmy has confirmed that the Egyptian-Canadian journalist has given up his Egyptian citizenship in the hope that it will get him released from a Cairo prison. People with dual citizens are basically non Canadians anyway. Foreign Affairs Minister John Baird has said he is hopeful Fahmy will be released from jail soon? but gave no specific timing. He believed that Mr Fahmy, the news channel’s Cairo chief who recently gave up Egyptian citizenship, would be deported like his Australian colleague Peter Greste. But a retrial has thrown that into question. John Baird failed here too..

Do just read the same News stories in different news media and you will find out that the News Media, News papers often lie, they do not report the news, facts accurately and too often rather they often spin their stories to meet a false agenda. No matter what the topic was, is.. about the Government, issues, or what ever. And they really do often still falsely think we all are so stupid that we will not notice this. So the Conservative Party slams door in media’s face — again.. Sparring between the Prime Minister’s Office and the Parliamentary Press Gallery is hardly new. But the gloves came off on Wednesday when a dispute over access to a government caucus meeting turned into a Conservative fundraising pitch. A veteran TV cameraman was next not allowed to travel to Malaysia with the prime minister this week .Earlier today, Stephen Harper’s office appeared poised to scratch CTV journalist Dave Ellis from the scheduled already trip because he asked an impromptu question during a media event last week in New York. Free News on the internet where the CBC was one of the best

A new study has found most Canadians think the internet is their best source for news, but they would not be willing to pay up if websites started charging them to read their stories online. When asked whether TV, newspapers or the internet provided news and information that was most interesting to them, 52 per cent of respondents said the internet was the best source. “CP Despite political focus post-SARS, hospital infection rates continued to rise TORONTO — Toronto’s SARS crisis and Quebec’s C. difficile nightmare drew political attention – and additional funding – to the problem of hospital-acquired infections. But despite that, rates of these infections continued to rise in the years immediately following the outbreaks, a new study reveals. Rates of methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus – known as MRSA – more than doubled in the period from 1999 to 2005, said the study, which was based on a survey of Canadian hospitals with more 80 or more patient beds. Clostridium difficile infections ( shit disease ) also rose over that period and the number of hospitals reporting new cases of infection with vancomycin-resistant Enterococcus climbed 77 per cent over the period. “Despite the two major communicable diseases – SARS and C. difficile – despite the emphasis by the Canadian Public Safety Institute on safer health care, despite all those things, our institutional approaches to infection control have changed remarkably little,” said Dr. Andrew Simor, head of microbiology at Toronto’s Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre. Simor was not involved in the study. “And the outcomes, as a result, have gone in the wrong direction.” The survey was conducted in 2006 by researchers from Queen’s University in Kingston, Ont., and was a follow-up to an earlier survey conducted in 1999. Both were funded by the Public Health Agency of Canada. The results, which will be published in the December issue of the American Journal of Infection Control, showed that while hospitals reported an increase in staff devoted to infection control, increasing numbers of patients fell prey to hospital-acquired infections. There were 5.2 cases of MRSA per 1,000 hospital admissions in 2005, up from two per 1,000 in 1999. There was also an upward trend in C. difficile infections, and the number of hospitals reporting new cases of infection with VRE soared. “We have to roll up our sleeves,” said lead author Dr. Dick Zoutman, head of infection control at Kingston General Hospital. But while the numbers don’t look good, the director of infectious disease prevention and control with Ontario’s public health agency raised a couple of important caveats. Dr. Michael Gardam suggested hiring new infection control staff is only one step in improving a hospital’s infection control performance. Real improvement requires a commitment and effort from all those involved in patient care in an institution, he said – and that takes time. “Rome wasn’t built in a day,” Gardam said. “You need to have more infection control practitioners. And you need to bring about culture change. And just doing the resources side of things I don’t believe will actually get you there.” Gardam also suggested the numbers might have been worse but for the injection of resources that followed the 2003 SARS outbreak and the C. difficile crisis, which first came to light in 2004. “Probably we are having an impact, we are slowing the increase,” said Gardam, who was not involved in the study. “But we’re not actually achieving a real steady state and we’re not actually seeing a decrease.” That’s especially worrying given the current state of the economy, said both Zoutman and Simor, who noted that infection control efforts are an easy target when hospitals are trying to cut costs. “I’m concerned now that it’s more challenging economic times … that we don’t lose (sight of) this,” said Zoutman. “Because it’s a false economy. It’s penny wise, pound foolish.” “

Many religious persons still do see Obama rather rightfully as a non Christian

-Also the Black Christians and clearly wrongfully had supported their own race over adequate religious values for Obama’s reality of being a true Christian is still very much debatable. He supports drinking alcohol, gays, abortion and who knows what, and he is the first political candidate to be addressed as an Anti Christ by many because of his inadequate Christian beliefs, or because he is a non Christian?

1.How Many Obamagelicals Are There? – It might seem farfetched that a socialist-terror-lovin’-pro-abortion candidate like Obama could win any evangelical Christians but he’s been courting them fervently since he began his presidential run. The key the 40% of evangelicals who call themselves “moderate” or “liberal.” Point of reference: John Kerry won 21% of white evangelicals, Gore 18%. Bill Clinton in 1996 won 26%.

Though the economy clearly was the defining issue of the election, Obama forged a new coalition by luring millions of religious left voters who had avoided Democrats in recent years.

He narrowed the God Gap. Bush beat Kerry among weekly church-goers by 61%-39%. McCain is beating Obama 54%-44% Most of that gain appears to have come from Protestants rather than Catholics

He won Catholics back. Early exit polls indicate he won 54% of the Catholic vote compared to 45% for John McCain. George W. Bush won the Catholic vote 52%-46%. Most of those gains came from Catholics who don’t attend mass weekly.

He also improved among white Catholics, according to the early exit polls. Bush got 56%-43% As of now, McCain lead by just 51%-49% This was despite an aggressive push by more than 50 Bishops to encourage Catholics to focus on abortion as the central issue.

He man real gainst among Evangelicals. Evangelicals and Born Again Christians made up a greater portion of the electorate this year than last election but that didn’t all accrue to McCain’s benefit, as predict. Obama improved slightly on a national level, getting 25% compared to Kerry’s 21%

But far more important, he made significant progress in the pivotal rustbelt states that won him the election. For instance, evangelicals flooded the polls in Ohio and Obama significantly improved on Kerry’s showing.

He energized the lightly religious. Though secular voters already voted Democratic, they did so by an even bigger margin this year. Even more important, a quarter of the electorate says they go to worship services but only a few times a year. Kerry won that group with 54%-45%. Obama won 61%-38%

‘Keep them out!’ Mounties stop media from asking Tory questions

OTTAWA — It’s a blurry, democratically dangerous no-man’s-land that governments and RCMP spokespeople do not like to publicly explore. The line between legitimate RCMP security duties and the media management imperatives of a politically sensitive Prime Minister’s Office appeared to be scuffed once again this week on the election trail. Mounties protecting Prime Minister Stephen Harper during a campaign event in Surrey, B.C., were ordered Tuesday evening to stop reporters from approaching a high-profile Tory candidate. “Keep them out,” Harper aide Ray Novak shouted at the RCMP security detail as journalists approached Dona Cadman. CTV’s Rosemary Thompson was literally yanked aside by one Mountie as she approached the retreating group – which did not include the prime minister.

Cadman, a Conservative candidate, is famous for sparking bribery allegations against her party by telling a journalist last year that her dying husband, former Reform and Independent MP Chuck Cadman, claimed to have been offered a million-dollar insurance policy to change his vote in Parliament. It’s an unresolved storyline the Conservatives, understandably, don’t want pursued during an election campaign. Cadman, who has dodged questions from the national media before in the campaign, told a local community newspaper Wednesday she’s concentrating on her own back yard. “We’re talking to the local media, which is much more important than going national or regional,” she said. The incident followed an earlier episode in the campaign’s first week when the RCMP was employed to thwart a CTV camera crew in St. Eustache, Que., on the day the Tories suspended campaign spokesman Ryan Sparrow. “I want that camera out of there,” Harper spokeswoman Carolyn Stewart Olsen told a Mountie, who somewhat apologetically obliged. But is it within the RCMP’s mandate to stop the media from doing its job?

Several officers matter-of-factly said they were acting on orders from the PMO – although the official RCMP line, delivered after the incident became a major media story, was that hotel management sought the eviction. Many on Parliament Hill believe the PMO’s use of RCMP security to thwart reporters has increased under a Harper government that is obsessed with communications control. Stories abound, for instance, of security officers stopping camera cut-away shots from non-PMO-approved positions. But the most infamous case of RCMP deploying its resources for essentially communications reasons came under the watch of former Liberal prime minister Jean Chretien at the 1997 APEC summit in Vancouver. An inquiry into the pepper-spraying of protesters concluded that the Mounties had “succumbed to government influence and intrusion in an area where such influence and intrusion were inappropriate.” Testimony at the inquiry suggested government officials were consumed with the poor optics of large demonstrations. “By whatever educational or other communications means available, the RCMP must instill in its officers … that they are to brook no intrusion or interference whatever from government officials,” inquiry commissioner Ted Hughes concluded. It would appear to be an inquiry forgotten not just by the Mounties and current government, but by the Liberals in opposition.

Someone representing the Conservative Party of Canada came to my home today, note to my home, and said to me he was here to get me to vote for Stephen Harper and the Conservatives. He next had refused to answer any of my questions firstly. I had asked him if it was true that Stephen Harper gave bottles of wine and wine glasses to the Prime Minister of Australia. I asked him also if he Stephen Harper professes to be an evangelical Christian of the Christian Missionary Alliance Church now too? No answer. I asked him how could a born again professing evangelical like Stephen Harper be giving out alcohol to others when it is clearly a historical, general, accepted biblical fact that fundamental evangelicals are abstainers and do not drink wine, alcohol now? The Canadian federal Conservative Party supporter he lied and said that what I said about Stephen Harper was not true. Stephen Harper was good person. The Conservative party supporter he next started to lecture me as to how and what I there could and could not talk about now to him . I next told him that he was standing on my property falsely lecturing me, dictating to me as to what I cannot talk about, what I cannot do even in my own home, dream on! I asked him directly was he now also another despotic dictator like the established fact, behavior of the prime minister of Canada, Stephen Harper. He the clearly red necked Conservative party supporter then turned red with embracement and rudely said he has to leave and immediately departed with his tail between his legs without still answering one question of mine to him too. He the Conservative party supporter wants me to support this bad political Conservative party now when I see firsthand how he even lies, abused me in my own home too? Dream on.

3 of my neighbors I had talked with directly today said they would vote for none of the parties for they are all equally bad, even those who had voted Conservative before too.

The Question would only be really appropriate if the Ministers of the governments, managers of the civil and public services were exemplary sober now themselves now..

Just last week a medical Doctor, one of my cardiologists too, himself told me that most of Canada’s politicians are alcoholics, for it seems liars and alcoholics are the best candidates suitable for getting the job? Unacceptable always too.

Not one cent of taxpayer’s money should be used to buy now any entertainment booze starting with the evangelical Prime Minister Stephen Harper who is known for giving wine bottles as gifts to others

One of my neighbors used to work at a Major Downtown Hotel where the major politicians would come for lunch and fill up drunk on their martinis, for if you had 2 martinis for lunch now you re legally drunk, incapable to drive so how could you go back to work and do an honest days work? You cannot. He saw even Alberta’s past premier Ralph Klein give a speech while drunk as well.

I tend to pray for wisdom and guidance, and I was praying as to what kind of Christian Obama was, as I was praying the TV news came on and they showed Obama in a bar drinking alcohol with other alcoholics.. alcohol the substance that causes most of the car accidents, crimes, domestic abuses, violence.. he was not being a good example, and clearly was not exercising self control..

in Canada it seems we have been having minority governments and often reelections and part of the problems here too they are wrongfully electing the liars and alcoholics, instead of decent, good persons.

The Bible also clearly says a leader should not drink alcoholic beverages. And I have a whole post on that too. Living high on the hog in public office, abusing taxpayers money is generally associated with the alcoholics now as well.

1 Cor 6:10 Nor cheats (swindlers and thieves), nor greedy graspers, nor drunkards, nor foulmouthed revilers {and} slanderers, nor extortioners {and} robbers will inherit {or} have any share in the kingdom of God.

There is no record that Jesus drank strong drink, grape fruit juice yes, fermented grapefruit juice? no!. As a pastor or church leader, would I demand abstinence for leadership? Absolutely! The principle of Proverbs 31:4-5 is appropriately applied here, “It is not for Kings, O Lemuel, it is not for kings to drink wine, or for rulers to take strong drink, lest they drink and forget what has been decreed and pervert the rights of all the afflicted.”

Canada’s “PM Stephen Harper the pretender evangelical as well.. is not the first time he wrongfully gave alcoholic beverages to others, and what next? Playboy??
