Why the ONGOING obsessesion with political CORRUPTIONS, fraud, ETC.?

Jesus himself will not let it go…. he exposes and punishes  still too.. Matthew 10: 27 What I tell you in darkness, that speak ye in light: and what ye hear in the ear, that preach ye upon the housetops.

Luke 12: 3 Therefore whatsoever ye have spoken in darkness shall be heard in the light; and that which ye have spoken in the ear in closets shall be proclaimed upon the housetops.

“And calling the crowd to him with his disciples, he said to them, ‘If anyone would come after me, let him deny himself and take up his cross and follow me. For whoever would save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for my sake and the gospel’s will save it’” (Mark 8: 34-35).

“Therefore do not let sin reign in your mortal body so that you obey its evil desires. Do not offer any part of yourself to sin as an instrument of wickedness, but rather offer yourselves to God as those who have been brought from death to life; and offer every part of yourself to him as an instrument of righteousness.  For sin shall no longer be your master, because you are not under the law, but under grace” (Rom. 6:12-14).

“And those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires” (Gal. 5:24).

Sharing what God’s Word says about morality and immorality  is a loving act. Also now determining what constitutes a loving act depends on first knowing what is true. The Bible is the sole truth we can rely on still too.. Do we even have to filly “earn the right” by personal expereince to identify porn use, adultery, fornication, incest, drunkenness, homosexuality or gossip as sins?  Of Course Not. The Bible defines them as undeniable sins.  It is, indeed, the Holy Spirit’s job to convict, but it is the job of Christians, particularly Christian leaders, to teach what God’s Word says in its entirety, which includes teaching about what constitutes sinful behavior. Articulating what the Bible teaches about SIN no more constitutes unscriptural judging than does articulating what the Bible teaches about lying, stealing, idolatry, blasphemy, or adultery.
.
Follow the money trail, the oldest rule of journalism ,these days also  seems to run into loads of crooked politicians, bad civil and public servants, Canada wide and not just in Quebec… why? 1 Timothy 6: 10 For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred (even) from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.
.

Wrongful inactions, Cover ups, False denial of bad politicians, bad cops, bad PROFESSIONALS,   false pastors, false priests, BAD persons, are much too common but nevertheless they do get exposed, revealed to all as to what they are often now like  too, and get what they deserve, and not the first or last time. Lying, thieving, alcoholic, abusive persons,  priests, pastors, Ministers, Leaders, Presidents, premiers, prime Ministers, Police  who cannot even change themselves for the good are of no use to anyone as well. I do not have to accept any of those lying hypocrites https://thenonconformer.wordpress.com/2010/05/25/canadas-two-tiered-justice-system-opposed/

DON’T BE STUPID AND BELIEVE ALL THE LYING SPINS AS TO WHY IT TAKES SO LONG TO INVESTIGATE THE BAD COPS or bad professionals, bad civil and public servants.. I have had many experiences in laying simple complaints against bad cops, bad professionals, bad civil and public servants  that never got anywhere cause the investigators were clearly pretenders.. in Contrast the investigations of all citizens clearly would not take so long.. https://thenonconformer.wordpress.com/2010/11/04/cnadian-governments-ignorance/

Canadian Justice is too often an empty one. The establishment cover ups for it’s own but eventually they are still found out as to who they realy are.. liars, crooks, thieves,..

https://thenonconformer.wordpress.com/2012/10/18/by-their-false-denials-who-is-fooling-whom/

Clearly to me EVEN a preacher. Minister  whose lifestyle does not match his preaching words to others he rightfully cannot be trusted at all.. he is a false preacher himself.. some how NOW EVEN most of them now wrongfully are like that too.

People in leadership office do have to face higher penalties as an example now too. It is clearly established, accepted fact by most people that those in leadership civil and public servants cops, teachers, ministers, politicians included  are always to be exemplary in behavior,  conduct and they do need to maintain their high standards even out of their working hours, thus to do so they are also to be exemplary  judged, prosecuted  for their own wrong doings with a higher standard over those of us ordinary folks.

THE POLICE, RCMP, MINISTERS, MAYORS, GOVERNMENT CONSULTANTS THESE DAYS, IMMIGRANT CONSULTANTS TOO  IT SEEMS , SEEM TO BE ANOTHER WORD FOR ABUSERS, THIEVES, LIARS CROOKS. SO WE ALL NEED TO DEAL WITH IT MORE EFFECTIVELY NOW TOO.

Now we all do really have freedom of religion, freedom of choice, freedom of speech, the right to be heard now as well..– Public exposure and prosecution of the guilty serves everyone’s best interest. … Starting at the top is always the best way now too …I clearly do believe in the right of everyone to speak, to speak out as well, and to be equally heard by all, so we can all judge what has been said if it is appropriate and we can next corresponding act upon it, even in the church, in the government, on the internet now too. It is a false statement that if one makes any negative statement about anyone, Professionals, Pastors, or even Jews, Muslims, Arabs, white or black, Asian people, natives , etc., that one is  a racist or promoting hatred.. maybe one is merely  exercising one’s appropriate right of free speech,  honestly critiquing  NOW certain individuals for their own unacceptable bad acts which  is not always HATE. .

Clearly some bad people falsely still DO DISALLOW THIS RIGHT… the realy bad persons especially as even I know this for sure as they falsely refuse the whole to be shared even as as to who they are firstly. They respond with a personal attack, inquisition, censorship, lies, slanders, diversions, distortions, instead of facing, dealing with the facts, truths being presented. Confirming to many what they still are really like, immoral, abusive bullies. Now we all do really have freedom of religion, freedom of choice, freedom of speech, the right to be heard now as well.. The Exemplary Public exposure and prosecution of the unrepentant guilty persons also now serves everyone’s best interest

It is also COMMON fact of life, particularly amongst the young, inexperienced, realy bad persons who realy hate the truth or they cannot handle serious , heavy negative realties that false denial, ostrich approach is a serious part of their make up, and their related defense protection when you cannot discredit the facts, you make a false personal attack on the writer, persons instead.

The Hallmark of a democratic society is unregulated press and the right of free speech of all persons citizens, without any of them being bullied , lied about, slandered but unfortunately tis is not always the case not even on the Internet, not even especially in the Christian Internet where your post can be twisted, lied about distorted, censored or yourself banned from making posts, likley by the same religious control freaks who would kill Jesus Christ today as well.

They even try to tell us what to write.. How all now absurd. When most aNy person no matter who he says he is too now does tries to enforce any rule upon me I immediate rightfully do next often do ask them who they think they are that they think I now have to respect their man made rules over God’s rules firstly? What makes them now also think I have to be now their false slave too? And as to why do they think I am their false slave and that they are any kind of boss over me in these matters?

These same bad persons who tend to too readily judge others, and who to often falsely demand, want to enforce their one side rules upon the others, they themselves are now also the lying hypocrites. We all have a right to be heard, to speak, on the net as well.. 30 percent of the people I meet daily in real life are the bad guys that jails exist for still too.. and they should be put in there often too.

The critics as well CAN SPEAK but THEY still cannot call us all the bad names they want or bully us though.

So overall still now  what really is needed  firstly is not more CHEAP, PRETENTIOUS  self regulations,   the supposed discipline of their members , or even their ensuring their education, but real INSPECTIONS, EFFECTIVENESS , competency testing. For it is a fact that anything that will put a self regulating body or a Ministry into a negative light will have a built in  tendency still to be denied,   suppressed, minimized in reality, to be ineffective .

There in reality is the main one important step that all consumers can take to protect themselves from any unscrupulous persons  and that is enforced, exemplary public exposure and prosecution of the supposedly guilty persons by a recognized judicial public body,  and so now how many such bad persons now have really been exposed, prosecuted in the last few years in reality too by the responsible Ministers as well?  None? and why not?

The city now will be hiring and training personnel in departments where the city doesn’t have enough skills, personnel expertise to monitor spending, the quality of work by outside firms and hopefully it will prevent collusion in contract bidding. I started to wonder why he wanted to hire more employees to fight corruptions finally  when he the Mayor already was bloated with city hall empoyyes, and so what was the real reason he the  Mayor Gerald Tremblaywanted more money.. well we found out next.. All you have to do is to read and hear the Canadian new and you will know continually how the incompetent, pretentious the federal, provincial and municipal governments are and how they now do a realy bad job of managing our tax dollars, and our civil and public servants and thus you will thus never be surprised as to why a major significant portion of your hard earned money continues wrongfully to go to taxes even under the new Conservative government. Putting more of your tax dollars to cover the poor , pretentious, inadequate work of our politicians, civil and public savants is a continual waste, an attempt to fill a bucket full of large draining holes. https://thenonconformer.wordpress.com/2011/04/27/undeniably-canadas-gravy-train-continues-to-cause-our-taxes-to-increase/

Look at Prime Minister Stephen Harper’s  political and economic management skills, for when we hear for decades of vast political, economic corruptions in many provinces, cities going on for decades like the previous Liberal giving out taxpayers money on infrastructure projects that lacked adequate accountability and they even lack falsely project managements divisions. https://thenonconformer.wordpress.com/2011/10/07/they-cannot-claim-ignorance-about-the-perversities/

Quebec For decades, the Mafia and their friends have been pulling at the teats, taking the cream from rigged government contracts while politicians look the other way and highways crumble. But Quebecers have had enough, and the government of Jean Charest was still next  forced to take on the five per cent men who dip their beaks in every tarpot in the province. The public has taken notice because of the work of Quebec journalists, who have aggressively exposed corruption, putting withering pressure on see-no-evil politicians. Andre Noel and Andre Cedilot have been covering Montreal’s Mafia since the early 1990s. https://thenonconformer.wordpress.com/2011/10/07/they-cannot-claim-ignorance-about-the-perversities/

None of the abuse of the taxpayers money is ever acceptable and any major abuse should not be only grounds for one’s dismisal from one’s job but it should also be a criminal, jailing offence always too….

You know I get a kick out of those lying spin  doctors, from police officers, bad cops, union representatives, police lovers  who say that bad people, bad cops and their bad supervisors too they  can always be rehabilitated, retrained.. The hypocrtical police tend not to believe that bad cons can be helped only bad cops… and how many millions of them now has this happened to them.. almost none.. a bad apple tends to get worse.. The RCMP maximum 10 days punishment is always absurd, permanent dismissal is what is always needed with the bad cops and their clearly bad superiors who had managed and hired them too.. https://thenonconformer.wordpress.com/2009/03/25/liars-mounties-misleading-everyone/

When the police in Canada’s major cities tend not to be any better

When for decades even the poorly managed RCMP have also lied, stolen , misappropriated taxpayer’s, governmental funds, and took false advantage of the overall system, they all next realy now cannot be trusted, and they are not even cost effective thus so why should we  all now be surprised that even  the Police in Canada’s major cities including Vancouver, Montreal, Winnipeg, Toronto they also  tend not to be any better nor it seems the related justice ministers in fact..

Canada’s Police too often they also tend to like to arrest anyone ASAP and next even falsey claim they have done their job well.

At the G20 police fisco, the RCMP, OPP, and the Toronto police were involved, assisted by officers from several Canadian cities.

Police under fire as fresh statistics show charges dropped in 59% of G20 cases

Toronto Star- ‎Jun 20, 2011 Farrah McBride went to the G20 protests in downtown Toronto, upset by news of vandals smashing windows. But the assistant manager at a restaurant supply store was transformed from spectator to prisoner when police arrested virtually everyone in front of the Hotel Novotel on The Esplanade on the night of Saturday, June 26, 2010. She says she was held, handcuffed, at the temporary Eastern Ave. detention centre without adequate water, food or her correct anti-anxiety medicine. She suffered a severe anxiety attack before she was released without charge after 18 hours. It opened my eyes. I never imagined this would ever happen in Canada,” says McBride, 29. “I totally lost respect for police. I can’t even look at them now.”More than 1100 people were held over the Toronto G20 weekend, the largest mass arrest in Canadian history. Only 317 people were charged with summit-related criminal offences. And of those, 187 have seen their charges withdrawn, stayed or dismissed, according to statistics released by the Ontario attorney general’s ministry Monday. Just 24 pleaded guilty.“It’s a classic example of police overcharging,” says lawyer Clayton Ruby,Nathalie Des Rosiers, General Counsel of the Canadian Civil Liberties Association, says demonstrators were targeted while simply exercising their democratic rights. Emilie Guimond-Bélanger rode on a chartered bus from Montreal to demonstrate peacefully for economic and women’s rights. Instead, she spent two cold, sleepless nights in custody, struggling to go to the bathroom out of sight of male guards, enduring two strip searches and begging for enough food to counter nausea. Peter Gill, 25, a Vancouver support care worker, says Ontario Provincial Police officers roughly arrested him as he walked away from a peaceful demonstration. He was handed to two Toronto police officers, who threatened to beat him up and drove fast in their squad car, slamming on the brakes so the handcuffed prisoner banged his head on the transparent divider, he says. They would say: “We’re going to pull over here and beat the s—t out of you and pretend you were resisting arrest.”Gill was charged with possessing explosives and weapons. But all he carried were harmless items like snacks and ear plugs, he says. Charges were withdrawn five months later.
Bad cops are never, never acceptable …

Canada’s too often bad Justice Ministers

Tell the too often rather lying spin doctors, Conservatives, Liberals, all of  the Justice ministers and special prosecutors that they do  need to avoid all appearance of evil, not just evil itself still.

Over and over again and one too many of Canada’s Justice ministers have been forced to resign from their offices, likley cause they were really bad cops and bad  lawyers now too..

NB justice minister resigns over privacy issue CBC.ca  Justice Minsiter Bernard LeBlanc resigned Thursday after being accused of violating the privacy rights of a Fredericton-area woman. There have in the last few months been too many other NB cabinet Minister’s resignations now as well.. LeBlanc is the fourth minister to step down in the last seven months.  Former justice minister Michael Murphy and former environment minister T.J. Burke have also left the Liberal cabinet.

It is sad that too many lawyers hoping to become judges next do now  make political contributions to the party in power too… and it seems to work?

Election financing allegations force B.C.’s top cop to quit cabinet The Canadian Press –  VANCOUVER, B.C. – British Columbia’s top cop has found himself on the other side of the criminal justice system, facing an RCMP investigation that has forced him to resign from his post as solicitor general. Kash Heed, a former police chief and star Liberal candidate in the May 2009 vote, announced his resignation Friday, citing allegations that his campaign office violated advertising and finance rules in the Elections Act. RCMP confirmed a commercial crimes unit investigation and the criminal justice branch announced a special prosecutor has been appointed to oversee the case. Heed said he has no idea what allegations prompted investigation, but he was adamant that, whatever they are, he had nothing to do with it.”I am absolutely confident that I’ve done nothing wrong, that’s why I’m going to fully co-operate with the RCMP and it is that reason that I’m stepping aside to maintain the integrity of this office and to maintain my integrity,” he said at a hastily called news conference at his constituency office in Vancouver on Friday afternoon.”I have no idea what this is about, but I can tell you again, I have done nothing wrong.” Neither Heed nor the RCMP are revealing many details.Heed said he first learned about the probe at the end of March, from RCMP. But he said they originally told him he was not being investigated. That changed earlier this week when he said he was told the RCMP were now looking into whether he had any role in the allegations, and on Wednesday he learned a special prosecutor had been appointed to the case.In fact, Terrence L. Robertson was appointed special prosecutor in January, and the RCMP started their investigation within weeks of last May’s election, which returned the Liberals to power for a third term.Insp. Tim Shields said the investigation was prompted by a complaint to the province’s chief electoral officer, who forwarded the allegation to RCMP last June.Shields said a report to Crown counsel will be complete by June, noting a one-year statue of limitations on Election Act violations.”The allegations are concerning the campaign office of Minister Kash Heed, and although there’s more than one person who can potentially be involved, we’re not going to be naming names,” Shields told reporters.”It’s a very sensitive investigation, and the priority of police is to get to the truth and discover the facts.”Shields said several people from Heed’s campaign office are under investigation, but declined to elaborate.

Heed is the third Liberal solicitor general forced to resign amid allegations of wrongdoing in the past two years.

John Les resigned from the post in March 2008 after it was revealed he was part of an RCMP investigation that alleged he improperly benefited from land deals while he was serving as mayor of Chilliwack.

And John van Dongen resigned as solicitor general in April 2009 after it was revealed he lost his driver’s licence for numerous speeding tickets. He was serving as Superintendent of Motor Vehicles at the time.

Attorney General Mike de Jong will fill the position for now, although Heed said he plans to return to his cabinet post once his name is cleared. He will continue to represent his riding in the meantime.

Heed’s profile rose while he was an RCMP district commander with a view to reducing property crime in south Vancouver. He spearheaded the creation of the gang violence task force, and is credited with reducing gang-related violence by more than 40 per cent, according to his website. He became chief of the West Vancouver Police in 2007.But since announcing his entry into political life last year, Heed has been dogged by a defamation suit filed by a former West Vancouver officer.Heed has spent his time in cabinet championing increased accountability for the RCMP, demanding the force change the way it investigate itself or risk losing its contract for provincial policing in B.C.Jane Thornthwaite acknowledged in February she made a mistake after she was stopped by police for drunk driving.

Mon May 3, 8:29 PM  By The Canadian Press VANCOUVER – Former solicitor general Kash Heed took a giant step towards returning to the B.C. cabinet Monday after being cleared of wrongdoing in an investigation that resulted in numerous Criminal Code charges and Election Act violations against three of his former campaign workers. Heed, insisting he did nothing wrong, hinted broadly he would like to get back to his cabinet duties. He resigned last month after announcing he was part of an RCMP investigation involving irregularities dating back to the May 2009 B.C. election. Heed, a former West Vancouver police chief and a first-time candidate who was personally recruited by Premier Gordon Campbell, won the Vancouver-Fraserview riding and was appointed to cabinet heading the law-and-order posts of Public Safety and Solicitor General. “It’s up to the premier to decide what he wants to do,” said Heed. “I’m serving the people of the province of British Columbia.” The charges are related to election pamphlets distributed during the provincial election last spring, as well as an election financing report filed on Heed’s behalf. http://ca.news.yahoo.com/s/capress/100503/national/solicitor_general_resigns_charges

Tue May 4, 8:38 PM  VANCOUVER (CBC) – The special prosecutor who cleared newly reinstated solicitor general Kash Heed of wrongdoing has resigned. Terrence Robertson quit the job on Tuesday, saying his law firm, Harper Grey LLP, donated $1,000 to Heed’s political campaign. The news came just hours after B.C. Premier Gordon Campbell announced Heed had been reinstated as solicitor general. On Monday, it was announced that Robertson’s investigation into Heed’s 2009 election campaign cleared Heed of any wrongdoing. Heed had stepped down from office in April when it was revealed the RCMP was conducting an investigation into his campaign in the Vancouver-Fraserview riding. The investigation was related to an unregistered election campaign brochure, which accused the NDP of planning to legalize heroin and cocaine and said the party would consider instituting an inheritance tax. Two of Heed’s campaign workers were charged with a variety of offences, but it was determined Heed had no prior knowledge of the pamphlets. In a letter outlining the reasons for his resignation, Robertson said he was aware of the contribution before taking on the investigation, but said he “did not believe that it was a conflict of interest” that would preclude him from acting as special prosecutor. Robertson said that upon further reflection, he has concluded that continuing as special prosecutor would provoke “comment from the public and the media” as to whether he is sufficiently independent.  … Speaking at a news conference Tuesday evening, the newly reinstated Heed indicated he would retain his post as solicitor general. Heed said he has done nothing wrong. “It was reviewed by an independent special prosecutor. The findings exonerated me and I’m living by that right now and we are ready to move forward.” Heed said he has never met Robertson or had any dealings with his law firm.  Attorney General Mike de Jong told reporters he was disappointed by Robertson’s resignation. “It’s frustrating, you know? I’m angry,” he said. “We have an independent process that everyone relies upon the public relies on it, the government relies upon it, and then something like this happens.” De Jong said a new prosecutor would be appointed in the case. Meanwhile, New Democrat MLA Mike Farnworth said he was shocked when he heard the news. “I was speechless, I was stunned and at first I thought, ‘This is a joke.'”Farnworth said both Heed’s exoneration and the criminal charges laid against his campaign workers are “tainted.” “As far as I’m concerned, the premier has no choice but to reverse his decision and Mr. Heed must be out of cabinet immediately … [Heed] has no credibility staying on as solicitor general,” he said. “The fact of the matter is that the special prosecutor who exonerated him is a donor to the B.C. Liberal Party and the idea that that was not disclosed at the beginning or that somehow that could not be seen as a conflict I find unbelievable.” Farnworth is calling for a complete review of the investigation. http://ca.news.yahoo.com/s/cbc/100504/canada/canada_britishcolumbia_bc_heed_special_prosecutor_resigns

and the mad BC Liberal, justice circus of improprieties goes on and one.. Anyone who is honest doubts the finding when he finds out this overall was not a   independent review basically, but a Liberal one.. Can  we really thus trust this government to top produce any  kind of decent justice?

So here is the obvious.. we need now 2 independent investigators to investigate the original independent investigator now as well  and to find out how long did he know that his firm supported the Liberals and that they had donated the money to the Liberals as well? before he was appointed too? Is anyone there honest, not crooked now too?

B.C. solicitor general steps down… again The Canadian Press – Thu May 6, 12:45 AM   VICTORIA – The circus is back in town in British Columbia with the star attraction being former solicitor general Kash Heed performing a manoeuvre of high difficulty, the triple political flip flop. In less than a month, the former West Vancouver police chief and star Liberal recruit resigned his cabinet post, was briefly reinstated, only to quit again the next day. Heed, on the backbenches Wednesday after less than a day back in cabinet, said he felt jubilation when Premier Gordon Campbell reinstated him after a police investigation cleared him of any wrongdoing in the scandal that resulted in charges against three of his campaign officials. But the triumph sank to desperation after the man that cleared him, independent special prosecutor Terrence Robertson, quit the case after acknowledging he himself may have the appearance of a conflict of interest because his law firm donated $1,000 to Heed’s campaign.

VANCOUVER – They’re supposed to be the buffer between government and any appearance of conflict of interest. But when the special prosecutor who cleared British Columbia’s solicitor general of election wrongdoing stepped down this week, he did just the opposite. Terrance Robertson resigned and revealed that his law firm had donated to Heed’s campaign. Yet the names of at least 15 of the 35 lawyers on the list of potential special prosecutors or their firms are also on Liberal party donation lists. This includes lawyers involved in some of the province’s most high-profile cases, including the legislature raid case and a lawyer who has been appointed to argue against Canada’s polygamy laws.  The revelations give at least the appearance of conflict of interest and fuel distrust among the public, legal observers say. Stephen Owen, a former provincial ombudsman and former deputy attorney general who was involved in setting up B.C.’s special prosecutor system in the early 1990s, said the controversy highlights the need for more vigilant vetting.  In the Heed case, Owen said the province should appoint a new special prosecutor to start the process from the beginning, rather than simply picking up where Robertson left off.  “They need to appoint another special prosecutor . . . to redo the whole investigation to see if charges should be laid, including against Mr. Heed,” said Owen, who now works for the University of British Columbia. “The public should have full confidence that there are no such conflicts. And it’s only fair to Mr. Heed, because there will be a cloud over the fact that he wasn’t charged.” http://ca.news.yahoo.com/s/capress/100506/national/special_prosecutors_conflict

I HAVE HEARD NOW FOR YEARS TONES OF PEOPLE WHO OPENLY BOAST TO ME THAT THEY ARE EVEN COMMITTING TAX EVASIONS including businessmen, tax accountants, pastors, elders, church secretaries, relatives.. etc., and the federal tax man, justice ministers too do  not even bother to acknowledge still my letters of complaints.

The Conservative Party that firstly promised to be different 2010

Canada’s Prime Minister Stephen Harper is not a real Evangelical Christian

The Conservative C what it now stands for Cons or Corruption still?
Rahim Jaffer removes party logo from website amid influence allegations
Helena Guergis claims shoes, clothing, jogging outfits as campaign expenses

The corruption even of false influence peddling. It is a fact of life that too many immoral people do try to short circuit the existing  system of decency and honesty and they falsely do try to push their way forward into the waiting lines even in politics, not just in banks, bus stops.. some persons now  do try to buy their way forward too.. and there is those immoral persons who do try to help them now to do it as well. Corrupted politics is nothing new but is still never acceptable now too even in the case where the former Canadian MP Rahim Jaffer, whose acquittal for cocaine possession last month led to a political uproar in Canada, has next also created a fresh controversy for the Conservative Prime Minister Stephen Harper by Rahim Jaffer’s alleged shady business dealings where Jaffer now was supposedly promising to get business deals done through his influence with the prime minister’s office and who knows what else now too, what other corruptions for  in for a inch often means in for a mile now too. What has also been clearly noticeable is also the recent  questionable behaviors of decency by his wife who is still an MP too a cabinet minister for woman affairs, Helena Guergis. Jaffer, who is an Ismaili Muslim of Gujarati origin, became Canada’s youngest non-white MP at the age of 25 in 1997. He served four terms till his loss in the 2008 parliamentary elections. This  38-year-old former MP is married to 41-year-old women affairs minister Helena Guergis who herself is in the thick controversies for various reasons. Status of Women Minister Helena Guergis is facing a call for her resignation after she allowed her husband Rahim Jaffer to use a House of Commons BlackBerry and a parliamentary e-mail address linked to her account. Both apples seem to be coming from the same bad tree.  According to the Toronto Star investigative report, Jaffer was now also using his minister wife’s office email address to conduct his private business and still handing out his parliamentary business cards despite ceasing to be an MP.  A QMI study last fall of MP spending on telephone and wireless devices found that Guergis was the 17th highest spender, with her office racking up a bill of $18,931. The  Conservative Party now has also asked Jaffer to remove its logo from his personal website which he currently uses to promote his new consulting firm Green Power Generation Corporation.

The leader of Canada’s official opposition party Michael Ignatieff said, “These are very serious allegations that go to the heart of the integrity of the Conservative Party government. The question is, ‘Who did Mr. Jaffer see in the Conservative government, what promises did Mr. Jaffer make, what did he propose to deliver to his clients?” How many more persons now are like him in the Conservative Party that was firstly promised to be different from the other parties now too?

Helena Guergis, the minister of state for the status of women, may face new political peril after revelations emerged Thursday that her husband, former Conservative MP Rahim Jaffer, was using one of her taxpayer-funded parliamentary BlackBerrys and that he had boasted of his connections to Prime Minister Stephen Harper’s office to further his private business interests. Harper believes Guergis is doing “a good job” in her role as minister. But a growing number of Conservatives are now saying privately that Harper will have difficulty sustaining that view. “It’s no longer about her judgment anymore. It’s now about the prime minister’s judgment,” ..it came to light that Guergis is attempting to claim shoes, clothing and jogging outfits as personal campaign expenses for the 2008 election. Guergis’s campaign return is still being reviewed by Elections Canada auditors, but if they accept her claims for $977 in the “other” category of candidate personal expenses, taxpayers will pay 60 per cent of the cost http://www.ottawacitizen.com/allegations+final+straw+embattled+junior+minister/2780541/story.html

Guergis made headlines earlier this year when she apologized for comments made during an alleged temper tantrum at the Charlottetown airport.

Guergis scandal explodes: Harper calls in Mounties, turfs her from caucus The Canadian Press – Fri Apr 9, 6:23 PM  OTTAWA – What kind of allegation would spur a prime minister to call in the Mounties on one of his own cabinet ministers and immediately turf her from caucus?

Ottawa glamour couple Guergis and Jaffer plummet into PM’s purgatory The Canadian Press –  OTTAWA – What’s next, a reality TV appearance? Helena Guergis and Rahim Jaffer, once one of Ottawa’s most glamorous, up-and-coming political couples, have tumbled so far and so fast in the capital’s nebulous influence index that a date on Wife Swap would not seem outside their current trajectory. It’s a stunning fall from grace.

The two Rahim Jaffer and Helena Guergis appeared to be the quintessential political power couple How did they sink from their status as the Harper government’s golden couple to problem couple in just a few years? She was one of the few women to make it past the backbenches, securing her first junior cabinet post in January 2007, entitling her to perks and profile that few women on the hill enjoy. But it was her personal life, her reputation as a brittle boss, and her gaffe-prone nature that trumped her professional accomplishments. But she was also known for her bristly nature, and she was voted in a Hill Times poll as one of the “biggest scrooges” to work for on Parliament Hill. http://www.montrealgazette.com/news/Guergis+known+political+family+brittle+personality/2784636/story.html

If the Star’s ace reporter, Kevin Donovan, was able to find out all he did about events surrounding Mr. Jaffer’s arrest and “business” dealings, why couldn’t the government? Wouldn’t you think that government lawyers or even some of that huge communications bureau in the PMO would high-tail it down to Southern Ontario and ask some questions of their own? Like — “Is there anything here that could hurt the government?” It has been seven or so months since Jaffer’s arrest. Couldn’t someone have taken some time out of all that recalibrating, proroguing, etc. to see whether institutional interests had been compromised? It all begs the larger question of due diligence from a government that has constantly shown an obsession with controlling the message — at least superficially. Someone, though, was clearly too preoccupied or maybe too confident in PMO spin abilities to seriously look into matters in this affair that had direct bearing on the government. Or maybe they’ve forgotten the first rule of politics — it isn’t your enemies who will do you in, it’s your friends. http://thestar.blogs.com/politics/2010/04/what-took-so-long-.html

Old news RCMP still boozing and driving too..

Alcohol is more dangerous than illegal drugs like heroin and crack cocaine, according to a new study.Heroin, crack cocaine and methamphetamine, or crystal meth, were the most lethal to individuals. When considering their wider social effects, alcohol, heroin and crack cocaine were the deadliest. But overall, alcohol outranked all other substances, followed by heroin and crack cocaine. Experts said alcohol scored so high because it is so widely used and has devastating consequences not only for drinkers but for those around them. When drunk in excess, alcohol damages nearly all organ systems. It is also connected to higher death rates and is involved in a greater percentage of crime than most other drugs, including heroin. All governments should consider more education programs and raising the price of alcohol so it isn’t as widely available.    “What governments decide is illegal is not always based on science,”  for monetary considerations about revenue and taxation, like those garnered from the alcohol and tobacco industries, may influence decisions about which substances to regulate or outlaw. “Drugs that are legal cause at least as much damage, if not more, than drugs that are illicit,”   http://ca.news.yahoo.com/s/capress/101031/health/health_eu_med_dangerous_alcohol
Provincial Governments, cops too  do not want to reduce gambling or alcohol consumption for it is a great money maker for them, and too many Canadian politicians and cops do like to booze..

Kamloops Mountie faces impaired charges CBC – Tue Apr 6, 10:27 PM A nine-year veteran RCMP officer faces impaired driving charges after a car flipped over in a crash near Kamloops early Saturday morning. “It appeared, from the preliminary investigation of the incident, that the lone occupant of the vehicle had driven off the road and hit protection poles surrounding a hydro box,” Const. Cheryl Bush said in a release Tuesday. “The vehicle then flipped onto its roof. The driver sustained no injuries as a result of this incident.” Investigators at the scene asked the officer, 29, for a breath sample and later said they would recommend charges to the Crown, police said. The identity of the officer, currently posted in Kamloops, has not been made public. The officer has been reassigned to administrative duties and will make his first court appearance on April 26 in Kamloops, Bush said

Obviously, except for the politicians of Canada, there needs to be a better screening device for those accepted into the RCMP.  Oh boy…here we go again. And how will they wash this one away?  MADD never seems to have anything to say when a cop is charged with DUI.  I wonder why?  What great role models the various members are presenting to the youth of this Country. We spend millions trying to educate people to not drink and drive and the people who enforce the law, are breaking that very law.  Looks like drinking isn’t just a RCMP problem it is spread into every police force around the world. The problem definitely needs to be researched.  I am starting to feel like the RCMP is almost as bad as the scum they are hired to protect us from http://www.cbc.ca/canada/british-columbia/story/2010/04/06/bc-kamloops-rcmp-impaired.html
Politicians, RCMP’s new image as being too often liars, drunk seems to be consistent.. https://thenonconformer.wordpress.com/2008/11/11/no-rcmp-alcoholics-it-seems/

Top Mounties failing in leadership role, watchdog says Globe and Mail –   RCMP brass are failing to live up to the legendary can-do spirit of the Mounties and are undermining the efforts of provincial divisions that are striving to modernize the force, watchdog Paul Kennedy said Wednesday.  https://thenonconformer.wordpress.com/2009/08/13/but-we-knew-all-that-already-about-the-rcmp/

Why do the police not prosecute the drunk drivers all year more consistently now too? “Of the 645 sexual assaults that were reported to our service in 2009, more than 40 per cent were alcohol-facilitated sexual assaults,” A sexual assault is never the fault of the victim. She said no means no the first time, and another drink can’t change that.“ We need people to understand that consent cannot be given if the person is impaired by alcohol: If they’re passed out, if they’re unconscious, if they’re sleeping,”  Supt. Danielle Campbell,   head of the Edmonton Police Criminal Investigations Division. It seems most alcohol-facilitated sexual assault doesn’t seem to be about miscommunication, or misconceptions of consent.  Rather, it is about men who use alcohol to incapacitate women for the purpose of raping them, and who do it over and over again like they know what they ‘re doing and are doing it on purpose. Do even the police do the same thing as well?

Every day police officers leave their homes and families and put their lives on the line for a salary, cause this is what they are being paid for, hired for and this does not mean that they are now even free of any negative criticism while they are doing their paid  duties, especially when there are so many outstanding questions regarding their    inappropriate use of authority, force by too many police officers,  plus the unacceptable false  cover ups of their wrong doings and their unacceptable lying now  too.  Plus basically  nothing has even changed in the Vancouver airport customs area since the RCMP’s death of the police immigrant Dziekanski. And there are still concerns about Liberal candidate Kash Heed and his former role as West Vancouver police chief and his unexpected retirement from the force less than two years into his contract, “There’s still a lot of anger about a $40,000 severance payout even though he voluntarily quit in February, leaving many unanswered questions about his status on the force,”  to supposedly avoid legal prosecution too. “The cops have a responsibility to follow moral leadership and let me tell you, the cops do not have that here [in Abbotsford] “NDP candidate for Abbotsford South, Bonnie Rai. These are all valid issues, concerns too.

Adam Smolcic is hoping a professional data-recovery expert will prove his allegation that a police officer erased his cell-phone video recording of Vancouver police shooting a knife-wielding man.  A civil liberties advocate says if true, it echoes other incidents where supposed video evidence of potential police misconduct went missing. Smolcic,  claims his video will show police didn’t need to shoot Michael Vann Hubbard, who they suspected was breaking into parked cars last Friday. Smolcic claims he captured almost the entire incident on four or five minutes of video with his mobile phone from across the street, 15 to 20 metres away.   He said he voluntarily turned the phone over to one of the officers who arrived after the shooting.  “When the police take your phone you assume you’re not getting it back because it’s evidence,” said Smolcic.  “When he gave it back to me I totally thought I had lucked out and I’ve got this awesome video, and when I saw it was gone I was shocked.”   Abbotsford police spokesman Const. Casey Vinet said his department is aware of Smolcic’s allegation.  “I can tell you all aspects of what happened will be thoroughly examined and we want to speak with everyone who has any information,” he said.  If Smolcic’s allegation proved true, Eby said the officer who deleted the video would probably face criminal charges.  But it may not be the only record of the shooting. Vancouver police said Monday investigators were reviewing security camera recordings of the incident from two separate sources.  Police also interviewed about 50 other people in connection to the investigation. Investigation of the shooting has been turned over to Insp. Len Goerke, head of Abbotsford’s major crime section.  Vinet said the purpose of the investigation is to determine if any offences were committed under the Criminal Code or the Police Act.  But while Goerke is heading the investigation, Vinet said Vancouver police homicide detectives will be doing the legwork.  “We’re confident the findings will be reached in a fair and objective manner,” Vinet said.  The Office of the Police Complaint Commissioner of British Columbia will be providing civilian oversight of the investigation, he added. http://ca.news.yahoo.com/s/capress/090323/national/police_shooting_video

THE SAD REALITY IS THE LIBERAL BC GOVERNMENT IS NOT MUCH BETTER ITSELF NOW..
 .
Province refused to release report on welfare leavers, The British Columbia government has suppressed a report on what happens to people who leave the province’s welfare system, the people who are forcefully pressurized to leave it..
.

Welfare to work CEO got million dollar raise  April 22, 2009 12:57 pm The CEO of an American company that provides job placement services to British Columbia welfare recipients got a $1 million pay raise in 2008. A single person on welfare in B.C. who is classified as “expected to work” receives $610 a month, or $7,320 a year. The company’s former vice president responsible for government relations and communications, Robin Adair, is now a B.C. Liberal Party candidate in Saanich South.

.

Auditor General slams BC failure on homelessness The British Columbia government has so far failed to develop a plan to reduce homelessness, according to a report  released by Auditor General John Doyle  “We found significant activity and resources being applied to homelessness issues but there is no provincial homelessness plan with clear goals and objectives,” Doyle wrote. “The absence of clear goals and objectives raises questions about whether the right breadth and intensity of strategies are being deployed.” The government does not even have a grasp of the size of the problem, he said. “The lack of good comprehensive information about the nature and extent of homelessness in the province” makes it difficult to plan, he said. The only figures available are from homelessness counts conducted by municipalities and regional districts that likely underestimate the problem, he said. Those counts have been rising. “The continuing increase in the number of homeless counted suggests a lack of success in managing homelessness, let alone reducing it.” There is a good financial case to be made for better addressing homelessness, he said. “The cost of public services to a homeless person is significantly higher than to that same person being provided with appropriate housing and support services.”  Justice, social services failed Frank Paul: report    “The evidence requires me to conclude that despite the service of many fine and diligent professionals, our systems of justice and social service ultimately failed Frank Paul,” wrote report author and inquiry commissioner William Davies.  AND Welfare application process ‘unduly complex’: Ombudsman  “The ministry’s income assistance application process is unduly complex and not designed to meet the needs of the people who are applying for assistance,” found Ombudsman Kim Carter in the 121-page report, Last Resort : Improving Fairness and Accountability in British Columbia’s Income Assistance Program. The report is the result of a systemic investigation into the provincial welfare system sparked by a 2005 complaint from the B.C. Public Interest Advocacy Centre. The Housing and Social Development ministry which administers the welfare system fails to give applicants a clear, written explanation of the application process, the report said, adding the process is unnecessarily onerous. “The ministry’s income assistance application process can discourage people who are in need from obtaining the assistance available to them.” Some policies are particularly unreasonable, she said, such as requiring single parents with kids under three years old—who won’t be required to look for a job if approved for welfare—to spend three weeks looking for work before they can get help.  Nor does the ministry do enough to understand the effects of its policies, she said. “The ministry does not accurately track the number of income assistance applications it receives, approves and denies,” she said. “The ministry lacks evidence to support its conclusion that the reduction in the income assistance caseload is a result of people leaving assistance for employment.” Carter’s report makes 25 recommendations for how to improve the system. A letter from Housing and Social Development deputy minister Cairine MacDonald included with the report says the ministry accepts all but one of the recommendations. The ministry will not compensate people who were denied benefits they were entitled to but did not get due to the government’s delay implementing a policy change.  and based on such stupidty continuing the social welfare minister seeks relection?

.

Do  see also Police soaps- make you cry the long awaited changes to B.C.’s police complaint process appear set to die on the floor of the provincial legislature as government dissolvesd parliament   without passing the amendments into law. HOW IS THAT FOR A PRETENTIOUS BC MINISTER NOW TOO. Solicitor General John van Dongen admitted that the changes won’t become law .. and Van Dongen didn’t answer directly when asked if government knew in early March the bill would not pass. ”it’s clear government didn’t view those items as priorities… If the government thought it was important to get re-elected they would have done it, that’s the bottom line, this BC Liberal  government has been fairly clear in pushing through the legislation on things they think are important, they’ve invoked closure…. they clearly have the votes to do so.”.. I  HOPE NO ONE IS FOOLISH ENOUGH TO RE-ELECT HIM TOO?http://www.theage.com.au/national/investigations/minister-told-ashby-be-careful-20090405-9t9l.html

.

The BC justice minister was  clearly scared to prosecute the dirty RCMP because he is guilty himself.. many unpaid speeding tickets.. The citizens expected their Attorney General’s Office to conduct a fair and comprehensive investigation of all police  matters too to determine if there is evidence of criminal wrongdoing but he could not do so cause his hands were tied..  BC Public Safety Minister Loses License For Excessive Speeding   and  B.C. solicitor general resigns over speeding tickets  British Columbia’s top law enforcement official has resigned from the provincial cabinet following revelations that his driver’s licence has been suspended for excessive speeding, Solicitor General and Minister of Public Safety John van Dongen announced his cabinet resignation in a statement released   but unwisely had said he will continue to run as the B.C. Liberal Party candidate for Abbotsford South. “I do understand how my conduct in this respect has reflected poorly on the credibility of the office,” he also said.  Van Dongen wouldn’t say how many tickets he has received over the years. He understands and still runs relection again? What the people of BC are all fools? NDP Leader Carole James said “When you have your top cop in the province charged with offences… I don’t think that is helpful to anyone,” James said Premier Gordon Campbell should “come clean on why it took so long for van Dongen’s driving record to surface,” and why after it did, Campbell did not immediately ask him to resign. A search of court records shows that Laura McDiarmid, B.C. Liberal candidate in Vancouver-West End, has a long list of driving offences, including 10 speeding tickets, one for excessive speeding and one for driving without reasonable consideration.

.

In busy Toronto, police say  Drunk driving and careless turning are the main clprits for serious accidents in intersections and red light cameras are not used because of the fear of public backlash..
.
So why are Calgary drivers such chronic lead-foots? or is the question why is it the Calgary city fathers are so money hungry? The  police services are  implementing the   speed cameras as a way of adding to their coffers..

  .
Anyone who thinks the cops  are mostly being honest, are really serving the public is a fool..
 .
No  matter how that dirty RCMP weasel spins the facts, tries to weasel out of the truth, the RCMP was clearly wrong on many counts in the Taser death of a polish immigrant at the Vancouver airport.. they were uncompassionate, inconsiderate, used more restraining force than was necessary, and they next also clearly lied to cover-up their own immoral acts, and many times as well, They slander a good man in the process as well.. and so none of this was, is acceptable or forgivable.. none  of it.  https://thenonconformer.wordpress.com/2009/04/21/the-mickey-mouse-rcmp-in-canada
 .
Now the RCMP is so ready to monitor others it firstly cannot monitor itself.. how absurd and hypocritical still too

Here is what I found amazing and worth while examining now  in much more detail.. insurance companies in Canada do not mind gouging Canadian consumers in their greed to make more profits..  and we all know that accumulating speeding , traffic infractions, will cause your car insurance costs to go up significantly…   and yet here is what I find surprising, neither the insurance companies, the provincial government, nor the federal government, the police have real, valid detailed statistics on the causes of traffic accidents: such as how many were caused my alcoholic drivers, how many were caused by speeding, how many were caused by poor road conditions, lousy snow clearing as well, etc not even in Ontario, Alberta, Quebec, BC as well.. …. so what do the insurance companies do with all the extra money they collect, certainly they of all persons should have firstly the best statistics on traffic accidents now in the first place, or how do they determine their rates??? Even Canada’s police chiefs have to rely on accident statistics from other countries, such as Australia, Great Britain, the US..

‘Speed on green’ cameras linked to rear-end crashes.  Arizona cities, one of the first cities to bring in such technology says the cameras decrease speeding and dangerous collisions, but can increase the number of rear-end crashes. But of course the money hungry police of Calgary had denied this.

.

ANOTHER CASH GRAB.. The Calgary Parking Authority is expanding its hold on the inner city by starting to charge for parking on more than 20 blocks of the Beltline.
.
CALGARY AND EDMONTON POLICE ISSUE MORE TRAFFIC TICKETS OVER ANY OTHER CITIES  IN CANADA AND  FOR DECADES NOW TOO!
.
Most reasonable and reasoning people have seen the folly of speed cameras for decades now too.
.
THIS IS AN EXAMPLE OF REAL DEMOCRACY… “Dan Barbour has won a class-action suit against UBC, which towed his car for four unpaid parking tickets worth $200. Vancouver Sun The University of B.C. has unlawfully issued more than $4 million worth of parking tickets since 1990 and will have to pay back the fines to thousands of people, a B.C. Supreme Court judge has ruled. “It’s a major win and it’s a perfect example of why class actions are a good thing,” said Dan Barbour, who launched the class action in 2005 after UBC towed his car for four unpaid parking tickets worth $200. “I couldn’t have afforded to take them to court for $200,” he said. “It’s been a long time and I waited six months for a decision,” added Barbour, a Vancouver chartered accountant. He said the whole thing started when he got a parking ticket at UBC that claimed he had a total of four outstanding tickets. He disputed the number and offered to pay $20. Instead, next time he was legally parked on the Westwood Mall on the UBC campus, his car was towed for the unpaid tickets. He argued UBC didn’t have the legal authority under the University Act to issue tickets and collect fines. Up until the start of trial last September, UBC took the position that it has the legal authority to collect parking fines under regulations created in 1990 and that it has powers similar to a municipality. But on the eve of trial, it abandoned that position. Instead, it argued there are “private law justifications” for the enforcement of the parking regulations and UBC’s collection and retention of the parking fines. Justice Richard Goepel, in a written judgment released Tuesday, found UBC’s parking regulation fines were “ultra vires” — unlawful. “UBC cannot enter contracts or licenses that incorporate the parking regulation fines,” he said. “UBC’s common law proprietary rights authorize the towing and storage of vehicles parked contrary to the parking regulations. UBC is entitled to collect the costs arising from such towing. “UBC cannot, however, rely on its proprietary rights to charge or collect the parking regulation fines. The plaintiff and other class members are entitled to restitution in the amount of the parking regulation fines subject only to applicable defences under the  Limitations Act, towing and storage charges … .”  The judge certified the class-action in 2006. The parties agreed that if the plaintiff was successful at trial, then the class is entitled to pre-judgment interest.  The ruling is available online: www.courts.gov.bc.ca/jdb-txt/SC/09/04/2009BCSC0425.htm   ” http://www.vancouversun.com/travel/Judge+rules+parking+tickets+invalid/1451135/story.html

It is getting worse for the RCMP

Tax payer’s money abuses, false expense account statements, stealing, tax evasions,   obstruction of justice, cheating, lying,  drunkenness, impaired driving, pornography,  Adultery, VERBAL, PHYSICAL ABUSES, are all ESPECIALLY unacceptable for any civil and public servants. It is a clearly established fact with good basis as to why our Canadian leaders, politicians, police, military, public and civil servants  who are always to be exemplary are even personally are to held to a higher standard, accountability in reality.

Public exposure and prosecution of the guilty is one of the best approach serving everyone’s best interest too.  “In the case of police, it is in everyone’s best interest that there is full, effective, independent, transparent and objective oversight. It goes without saying that an absence of effective oversight will inevitably result in the erosion of the community’s confidence in the police.” http://ombudsman.on.ca/media/139861/who%20will%20guard%20the%20guards%20themselves%20toronto%20police%20services%20board.pdf

Too many police officers are now too often guilty of their most serious neglect of public trust and their duty. The related truth is that neither an independent police investigation, a new police commissioner,  a promised provincial or federal investigation, or just more politicians promises too often still   will not bring the much needed justice. All of the governments can prohibit the initial and further employment of any known racists for any jobs, and can  punish them for their racists acts, views. Police managers continue to promise the reforming of bad cops and the bad cops keep killing, abusing  innocent persons. The possible retaining of bad  police officers is always anyway a false myth. What thus is always needed is the real  the dismissal, criminal prosecution, of the guilty cops. So where is it? Speeding is not the main cause of car accidents, impaired driving is, but too many cops are alcoholics it seems who wrongfully do sympathize with drunks and as a result do not arrest drunks all year

And why did it take decades now to cause this RCMP declaration  to come forth? OTTAWA – The RCMP plans to ask outsiders to investigate serious incidents involving Mounties.  Commissioner William Elliott says cases in which officers are linked to death, serious injury or criminal behaviour will be referred to provincial or federal organizations for investigation.  Where no such regimes exist, the policy allows the national force to ask an “external law-enforcement agency or other duly authorized investigative agency” to conduct the probe.  And in cases where that’s not possible, the RCMP may appoint at least two Mounties from another province, along with independent observers to review their findings.  Any officers assigned to investigating their own will be screened for possible conflict of interest and, where possible, the primary investigator should outrank the subject of the investigation. Elliott says the RCMP “must strive to be as open and transparent as possible and fully accountable” for its actions.  “We would prefer the RCMP never to be called upon to conduct investigations of our employees,” Elliot said.  In some provinces, regimes are in place to conduct independent investigations.  “The RCMP encourages the adoption of independent investigative bodies for all jurisdictions.”

Public Safety Minister Vic Toews welcomed the announcement.  “Our government’s position continues to be that effective review should be external to the force,” Toews said in a statement. Would be nice if he by example practiced first also what he preaches to the RCMP for this perverse  Conservative Hypocrite and his government have abandoned their once promised pre election goals of transparency and accountability for the bad acts especially of their own members even by shutting down parliament recently! https://thenonconformer.wordpress.com/2010/01/29/federal-conservative-liars-rob-nicholson-and-stephen-harper/

Public complaints against the RCMP climbed by almost 35 per cent in the year ending March 31, the force’s watchdog said in an annual report that also cited continuing concerns about the Mounties’ use of Tasers. The Commission for Public Complaints against the RCMP said the most common public gripe against RCMP members during the last fiscal year–one in five — involved allegations of rude, dismissive, biased or non-responsive behaviour by an officer. Bad attitude was closely followed by complaints about the quality of RCMP criminal investigations, ranging from allegations of improper witness interviews and improper handling of evidence to concealment of facts or misleading reports. These accounted for 17.3 per cent of the complaints. The report by the independent review body, which was released Thursday, said the number of public complaints increased to 1,692 in 2008-09, up from 1,258 the previous year and 956 in 2006-07. The commission, which is headed by Paul Kennedy, took credit for issuing a report a year ago that has pushed the RCMP to rethink Taser use, training and reporting. The commission said, however, it still has concerns. Among other things, it said it is conducting an investigation into all in-custody deaths up to February 2009 involving the use of a Taser by a member of RCMP. It also said it plans to release its final report by Sept. 7 into the death of Robert Dziekanski, the Polish man who died after being Tasered by RCMP officers at Vancouver’s international airport. Based on the commission’s analysis of the 2008 statistics, the report said, the Taser is increasingly being used as a deterrent. It said the weapon was taken out of the holster but not fired in almost 50 per cent of the cases it was used. Still, the commission said, it’s concerned that calls involving “mental health” or “suicide” resulted in more Taser deployments than any other incident type, especially when there was no evidence in the usage reports that mental health calls were any more risky than other incident types. Kennedy warns there is a growing perception of a trust deficit with the RCMP that must be addressed. “The trust deficit can be eliminated by increasing transparency and accountability of RCMP activities by means of an enhanced regime for civilian review of RCMP activities,” he wrote. “Failure to address this issue increases the risk that distrust will become the dominant characteristic of the public-police discourse.”  http://www.calgaryherald.com/health/Gripes+against+RCMP+jump/1688792/story.html

CALGARY – Tasers in Alberta will be tested annually under new guidelines released by the provincial government.  Police officers will only be allowed to use the conducted energy weapons under certain circumstances set out by the document. It also says an officer who believes a suspect may cause injury to him or herself or a bystander can use a Taser, but someone who is simply running away isn’t enough of a reason.  A use-of-force report must also be written every time one of the weapons is deployed.  Alberta has been reviewing its Taser policy and also looked at the report into the 2007 death of Robert Dziekanski at Vancouver International Airport after he was repeatedly zapped by a Taser.  The B.C. government responded to the report by ordering all police to restrict the use of stun guns.  http://ca.news.yahoo.com/s/capress/090731/national/tasers_police_policy

The Braidwood Inquiry into the Taser-related death of Robert Dziekanski has been blown up and left in ruins by the revelation a key RCMP e-mail was withheld from the commission. After months of outrage about the conduct of the four Mounties who responded to Vancouver Airport Oct. 14, 2007, who can believe that at the last minute, a federal lawyer would produce what many would consider a smoking gun — an e-mail saying the officers decided to use the Taser before confronting the Polish immigrant? If true, the Nov. 5, 2007, e-mail titled “Media strategy — release of the YVR video,” from RCMP Chief Supt. Dick Bent to assistant commissioner Al McIntyre, establishes the four have been lying through their teeth. This critical document suggests the four officers committed perjury and that senior officers sat silent while they did so. Worse, it seems there are many other documents that have not been turned over that may be relevant. This e-mail was one of 260 documents on a CD sent by the RCMP to the justice department last April, yet the federal lawyers didn’t open the CD until last week.. Commissioner William Elliott’s carefully parsed press release was equally unbelievable: “This was simply an oversight. Unfortunately in an exercise of this magnitude, such an oversight can occur.” Bollocks. No one but a moron overlooks the import of an e-mail like this. The officers deny the explosive content is true and Roberts says Bent was wrong in what he said. But their protestations ring hollow after almost 18 months of bluster and denial. So does Elliott’s threadbare these-things-happen excuse. The situation is as bad as the most virulent critics of the Mounties feared. This is no longer about four officers who made mistakes in judgment: It’s about an organization that thinks it is above the law.  .It is time to thank commissioner Braidwood for his excellent work in bringing these unsettling facts to light and it’s time to appoint a special prosecutor.  The B.C. Law Society should also begin an investigation into the conduct of Roberts and any other federal lawyer involved in this staggering lack of disclosure. That was not an “oversight.” It was professional incompetence or a cover-up. http://www.vancouversun.com/Mounties+Tasering+should+face+prosecution/1716660/story.html

Robert Dziekanski had already been stunned twice when one of the four RCMP officers who confronted him at Vancouver’s airport called for another jolt of the Taser.  “Hit him again! Hit him again!” Cpl. Benjamin Monty Robinson can be heard shouting on a bystander’s video of the fatal confrontation.  Robinson, the officer in charge in the early morning hours of Oct. 14, 2007, is scheduled to testify Monday at the inquiry into Dziekanski’s death. Robinson will be asked to recall what orders, if any, he gave the three other officers; why he asked for another Taser shock even though Dziekanski was already on the floor; and what he was doing to ensure Dziekanski was still alive before firefighters arrived.  As well, Robinson will likely be asked about inconsistencies between the other officers’ testimony, what they initially told police and what was captured on the video.  The officers’ dinner break at the RCMP’s airport detachment was interrupted by a radio dispatch about a man throwing furniture in the international terminal.  Three of the officers have already testified they never said a word to each other and were given no orders from Robinson in the several minutes it took them to drive to the airport and walk to Dziekanski, who had been at the airport for nearly 10 hours and didn’t speak English.  The other officers have said that, after a brief interaction, Dziekanski became difficult when he tossed his hands in the air and took a few steps away.  When he turned back toward the officers, Dziekanski was holding a stapler, which the officers have said made them feel threatened.  That’s when Const. Kwesi Millington delivered the first Taser shock.  The weapon was used five times in all, although it’s not clear how many of those connected with the man.  As Dziekanski lay unconscious on the floor, his hands cuffed behind his back, the other officers have testified that none of them were performing proper pulse and breathing checks.  An airport security guard said he checked Dziekanski’s pulse only after he saw Robinson trying to find a heartbeat while wearing leather gloves.  When firefighters arrived, the fire captain on duty that night has said it didn’t appear as if anyone had been monitoring Dziekanski, who by then had no pulse, wasn’t breathing and, according to fire Capt. Kirby Graeme, was likely already dead.  And Graeme said the officers initially refused to remove Dziekanski’s handcuffs.  The inquiry has also focused on inconsistencies in what the officers initially told police, and the accuracy of Robinson’s initial statements is sure to be scrutinized.   The other officers admitted making several mistakes in their police notebooks, statements to homicide investigators and internal reports about what happened.   For example, the officers have said it took several Taser shocks before Dziekanski fell to the ground, even though he collapsed seconds after the first deployment.  They also incorrectly said Dziekanski had to be wrestled to the ground. One even claimed Dziekanski kept walking toward the officers with a stapler raised above his head after he was stunned.  The officers have insisted their early accounts represented their best recollections of a stressful, fast-paced event.  Millington was accused by the lawyer for the Polish government of lying about what happened to justify his actions – an accusation the officer flatly denied.  Crown prosecutors decided last December that Robinson, Millington, Const. Bill Bentley and Const. Gerry Rundel wouldn’t face criminal charges, although the inquiry’s final report could include findings of misconduct.  http://ca.news.yahoo.com/s/capress/090322/national/taser_inquiry

Mountie had ‘no plan’ when approaching Dziekanski Most experienced RCMP  officer involved in fatal confrontation says he ordered tasering, but concedes he was not ‘current’ on weapon. Cpl. Robinson said he was trained in the use of tasers in 2003, but did not go through refresher training until a month after the incident. He was suspended with pay from that post after an October auto accident INVOLVING DUI.‘I was mistaken,’ Mountie testifies after recanting statement at

Cpl. Benjamin Monty Robinson, the fourth officer to testify at the hearings, said he doesn’t think he contributed to the tragic outcome.  Robinson testified  that he gave the order to shock Dziekanski with a Taser, and repeated the command as many as two more times.  A bystander’s video played numerous times at the inquiry shows Dziekanski was on the floor for the second stun, and Robinson acknowledged Dziekanski had either already collapsed or was on his way down by the end of the first shock.  Still, he maintained that he gave the command when Dziekanski was still standing.  On the video, one of the officers can be heard shouting, “Hit him again! Hit him again!” after the second stun, long after Dziekanski had fallen. The other officers have said that voice belongs to Robinson.  Robinson said he didn’t remember giving a third command, but didn’t dispute that it was him.  “I don’t rule that out, it was me a third possible time,” he said.  Robinson was moved to the RCMP’s Olympic Integrated Security Unit, which is preparing security for the 2010 Winter Games in Vancouver, but was suspended with pay shortly after he was arrested last October in connection with a fatal collision.  A 21-year-old motorcyclist was killed when he was struck by a Jeep in suburban Delta, south of Vancouver.  In a news release dated Oct. 28, 2008, Delta police said they were recommending the off-duty officer – subsequently identified as Robinson – be charged with impaired driving causing death and driving with a blood alcohol level over the legal limit, but the Crown has not announced any decision on charges http://ca.news.yahoo.com/s/capress/090323/national/taser_inquiry

IMAGINE THAT A PROFESSIONAL COP LIKE ROBINSON, CLEARLY GIVES CONTRADICTORY EVIDENCE, AND HAS BEEN ARRESTED FOR DRUNK DRIVING TOO. THIS ALONE GIVES A VERY BAD PICTURE AS TO WHAT THE RCMP IS REALLY LIKE.  https://thenonconformer.wordpress.com/2009/05/21/why-many-businesses-fail/

VANCOUVER, B.C. – The Mountie who stunned Robert Dziekanski with a Taser panicked and later tried to cover up his mistakes by making inaccurate statements about the event, the lawyer for Dziekanski’s mother suggested. His initial accounts of what happened contained numerous inaccuracies, several of which suggested Dziekanski was more aggressive than what’s shown on a bystander’s video. There were errors in notes Millington made that night, statements to investigators in the days that followed and at least two internal reports he filed about the incident. He said at the time that Dziekanski was yelling when police approached and was waving a stapler “wildly” just before the first stun of the Taser. He also said in the statements and notes that Dziekanski was still standing after three jolts of the 50,000-volt weapon and continued to walk towards the officers. Millington said on numerous occasions that the four officers had to wrestle Dziekanski to the ground. But he conceded at the inquiry that those parts of his statements were incorrect. Dziekanski’s mother, Zofia Cisowski, said she doesn’t believe what the officers have said. “They want to save themselves, they want to cover,” Cisowski said outside the inquiry.  “I don’t believe these people.”  and neither do I.    IT ALL SHOWS HOW FLAWED the RCMP internal reviews really are too..

The Crown and RCMP announced in December that the four officers will not face criminal charges, but changes in their accounts of the events of that night have raised questions about whether the RCMP might reopen its investigation. All three officers who have testified so far said they made errors in their statements. They changed their recollections after viewing a video shot by a bystander. Neil MacKenzie, a spokesperson for the criminal justice branch, said in an interview yesterday that Crown counsel relied on the officers’ statements in determining whether or not to proceed with charges.

Now   as if you all did not know that already that the Local and the national police cannot be respected to do a decent inquiry into the alleged wrong doings of any police officers, cause we can seem all to know that the accused police officers do not hesitate to lie, to cover-up the reality… now self regulation  of the police force, is just useless self masturbation always it seems, thus we need independent  reviews of all police complaints for all of the police forces too in Canada, with real negative consequences on the guilty persons now too and it is  as simple as that

So 4 RCMP officers lyingly had now said that they killed the new Polish immigrant Dziekanski  in self defense cause he was attacking them with a stapler.. for sure they all need now to be tried for Manslaughter and jailed.

Why 4 RCMP officers needed any weapons to even deal with one single man is really unbelieveable to start of with too..   the RCMP has zero credibility.

Anyone who follows these hearings can clearly see how contradictory many of the RCMP testimonies now are to the reality too.. it is mainly the RCMP who spin or try to believe their own fabrications of reality..

RCMP Const. Bill Bentley said Dziekanski was jolted by a police Taser gun after the Polish immigrant grabbed a stapler. But Bentley’s original version of events was different. “Subject grabbed stapler and came at [officers] screaming,” read his original notes, written within days of the Oct. 14, 2007 incident. That’s not true, Bentley admitted today. A widely shown video of the incident shows Dziekanski made no such move. Bentley said his memory was refreshed by watching the video and getting a good night’s sleep. But Commission counsel Patrick McGowan wondered how much the video changed his recollection. “If you didn’t have video of this matter, would you be here today saying the subject grabbed a stapler and came at the [officers] screaming?” McGowan asked. “I don’t know,” Bentley replied.  http://vancouver.24hrs.ca/News/local/2009/02/26/8537371-sun.html

RCMP’s Taser short-circuit The Kingston Whig-Standard –  The optics have been bad for the RCMP at the judicial inquiry looking into the posttasering death of Polish immigrant Robert Dziekanski. Officer fears Poland could pursue charges, inquiry told

 0application1

Someone should tell RCMP Const. Kwesi Millington that there’s a video on YouTube showing him delivering five Taser jolts to a Polish immigrant who was doing nothing to threaten officers or the public. Millington made his first appearance yesterday at an inquiry into the death of Robert Dziekanski. And his version of events leading up to the death of Dziekanski is so out of whack with the video we’ve all seen, it’s as if the guy has no idea there’s a video out there that exposes the whole thing. Millington claims Dziekanski “was approaching” police officers with a stapler in his hand just before he was shot. The video shows nothing of the kind. It shows Dziekanski raising his arms in the air and walking briefly away from police officers. He then stops and turns towards them. And then he gets zapped five times.

The RCMP officer who jolted Robert Dziekanski with a Taser weapon is contradicting a fellow officer in testimony Tuesday at the inquiry into the Polish immigrant’s death. RCMP Const. Kwesi Millington insists he has never discussed the Oct. 14, 2007 incident that left Dziekanski dead, with the three other officers involved.  It contradicts testimony given by RCMP Const. Bill Bentley, who told the Braidwood inquiry last week the group recounted their version of the events during a “critical incident debrief” after the incident.

“What I do remember is we did have a critical incident debrief where we all told our version of events that transpired that evening,” Bentley testified last week. Not true, Millington said Tuesday when presented with his fellow officer’s testimony. “I don’t remember any of these discussions,” Millington said, agreeing that his opinion contradicts that of Bentley’s testimony. http://vancouver.24hrs.ca/News/local/2009/03/03/8614511.html

Images taken from video footage show Polish immigrant Robert Dziekanski falling to the ground after being tasered at the Vancouver airport Oct. 14, 2007. The video shows that Dziekanski did not resist or confront police.

Lawyer Walter Kosteckyj, who is working for Dziekanski’s mother at the inquiry, is a former RCMP officer. Kosteckyj wonders why no one with the Mounties has stepped forward and said, “This was not our finest hour.” That’s disturbing. Day by day at the inquiry, one thing is made more and more certain: This was not the RCMP’s finest hour. They the RCMP  have had many many bad years now  rather..

Mounties looking like Keystone Cops  Calgary Herald – By Don Martin, Calgary HeraldFebruary 28, 2009 Police officers have three primary serve-and-protect obligations–investigate threats to civilian safety immediately, use their weapons responsibly and tell the truth faithfully under oath.

One Mountie recently testified he was prompted into Tasering Dziekanski when the man, who had thrown a chair and spent 10 hours in the airport, brandished an open stapler in a threatening way. Dziekanski died after being Tasered and subdued by the Mounties. Laughter and heckling broke out in the public gallery as RCMP Const. Kwesi Millington, one of four officers called to the airport Oct. 14, 2007, demonstrated how an agitated Dziekanski held the stapler. The inquiry lawyer asked how “four healthy, young officers” who wore body armour and carried guns could have believed an office tool was a threat.

the Polish government’s lawyer accused a Mountie of lying during his testimony.  Const. Kwesi Millington immediately denied colluding with other officers or lying under oath to absolve his use of a Taser on Dziekanski at Vancouver’s airport in October 2007.  “You and your fellow officers collaborated to fabricate your story in the expectation that it would justify your conduct to your superiors, do you deny that?” said Rosenbloom, the lawyer for Dziekanski’s home country of Poland.  “We never did that,” replied Millington during his third day of testimony.  “I am suggesting that you and your fellow officers intentionally misled (homicide) investigators and you continue to lie under oath at this commission, do you deny that?” said Rosenbloom.  http://ca.news.yahoo.com/s/capress/090304/national/taser_inquiry

Millington’s recollection of the events based on his memory, his hand written notes and the reports he wrote proved to be embarrassingly at odds with the Pritchard video.  Millington noted he first fired the Taser because Dziekanski picked up a stapler and began “swinging it wildly” and then moved aggressively towards the officers. Yet on examination by commission counsel Art Vertlieb, Millington failed to find any evidence of the wild swinging on the video and admitted he was in “error.”  He said he fired a second time because Dziekanski was “still standing” and had to be “wrestled to the ground” by the other officers present. Another error. The video shows the first shot caused Dziekanski to stumble, fall and writhe on the ground screaming in pain. Why the third shot? He was, said Millington, still fighting and struggling with the other officers trying to handcuff him. Error again. To that point no officer had even touched the writhing screaming Dziekanski.

The Vancouver Sun    RCMP’s reputation takes a beating at Braidwood inquiry   March 5, 2009     You’ll remember that shortly after Robert Dziekanski was Tasered and died in Vancouver International Airport, the Royal Canadian Mounted Police said it would not be returning a videotape of the incident to its rightful owner for one or two years, because it might taint witness testimony. Well, the tape has certainly had a negative effect, but what it has tainted is the reputation of the RCMP. And it, along with other evidence from the Braidwood inquiry into Dziekanski’s death, reveals that the RCMP and police forces across the country have a lot of work to do to regain the public’s trust. In fact, the tape reveals what could be construed as a practice of using Tasers first and asking questions later, and worse, it reveals that the attending officers couldn’t even trust the notes they made shortly after the incident. This week, Const. Kwesi Millington, the officer who fired the Taser, testified before the inquiry, stating that he feared for the officers’ safety after Dziekanski picked up a stapler. His comments prompted snickers from spectators who watched the tape, and who obviously questioned how four officers, clad in Kevlar vests, carrying guns and pepper spray and trained in self-defence, could fear a lone man with a stapler. Clearly, if the officers’ actions were in keeping with RCMP policy at the time, then the policy permitted the Tasering of suspects upon even the slightest provocation. Worse, Millington Tasered Dziekanski a total of five times, even after Dziekanski had fallen to the ground and after the officers had applied pressure to his back. Now it’s awfully hard to understand how the officers could still have been frightened of Dziekanski, but that’s still not the worst of it. No, the worst thing is that if the videotape didn’t exist, one would have to rely on Millington’s notes about the incident, notes that Millington was forced to repeatedly admit were wrong. In fact, confronted by videotape evidence about the number of times Dziekanski was Tasered, Millington had to confess that one would get a “distorted view” of the incident by reading his notes. This is a devastating admission because, in most cases of Tasering, the officer’s testimony is all we have to rely on. And police forces have repeatedly defended their use of Tasers, and have even taken shots at critics — witness the recent press conference held by the Canadian Association of Chiefs of Police and the Canadian Police Association, where representatives questioned the fitness of those who criticize Taser use. Given that the police must have the trust and respect of the public if they are to function adequately, this is an attitude that must change, particularly in light of the evidence from the Braidwood inquiry. That means that police forces across the country must be open to reconsidering their Taser policies in the face of honest concern — the RCMP’s recent modest changes to its policy are good first steps, but only first steps — and must be willing to admit that they made mistakes. And not just when they’re called before a commission of inquiry. http://www.vancouversun.com/RCMP+reputation+takes+beating+Braidwood+inquiry/1355351/story.html

RCMP management clearly lied, also to blame.. Mounties read through 1,000 internal e-mails preparing for inquiry

“RCMP’s communication strategy ultimately failed. The force did not publicly correct inaccuracies or defend its role in the case, fearing that information might alter witnesses’ recollection of events. Police also believed, the report said, that public opinion would switch to supporting the RCMP after all the facts were known. We found neither argument valid,” the report said. “For deeply rooted systemic reasons and long-held views regarding the importance of due process, the RCMP’s management of issues and communications were lacking and caused many of the problems the organization was trying to avoid.”We therefore recommend that clear, precise guidelines about what can be released, and at what point in the investigation, be developed, and that these guidelines be based on a liberal view of releasing information.” http://www.canada.com/News/Mounties+read+through+internal+mails+preparing+inquiry/1714755/story.html

“The “Wayne” to whom Chief Supt. Bent presumably is referring in the e-mail is Supt. Wayne Rideout, the head of the integrated homicide investigation team into Mr. Dziekanski’s death who admitted under oath at the commission that he had lied to public as to the circumstances of the incident. Supt. Rideout publicly claimed that Mr. Dzienkanski had been Tasered twice, when in fact the man had been hit with the stun gun at least five times. He also claimed the officers had to wrestle the man to the ground because the first shot had no discernible effect, when in fact video evidence is clear that the distraught would-be immigrant from Poland fell quickly after he was first zapped.  The absolutely sickening thing about this entire episode is that were it not for a bystander with a camera phone who had the presence of mind to videotape the conduct of the four officers, their lies, evasions and concocted story might have worked to let Mr. Dziekanski’s death be explained away.  Commission counsel Art Vertlieb is absolutely justified when he observed Friday that this delayed disclosure raises questions about whether the RCMP has actually shared everything in its files that Mr. Braidwood needs to do the job.”  http://www.thestarphoenix.com/Dziekanski+probe+turns+into+fiasco+RCMP+bungles/1716292/story.html

It would be easy to form the impression that the four Richmond RCMP officers involved were the only ones to blame for the tragedy at Vancouver International Airport on Oct. 14, 2007.But as the lawyer for Dziekanski’s mother has astutely observed, that’s only because the RCMP’s spectacularly bad PR has stolen the spotlight. RCMP brass and the federal government could have pre-empted a damning report from Thomas Braidwood by stepping up with a genuine mea culpa and an announcement that a major overhaul of the RCMP and CBSA was already in the works. That hasn’t happened. Now, given how much has been exposed in this inquiry, it is hard to believe a few people won’t be held to account. http://www2.canada.com/burnabynow/news/community/story.html?id=8d1d3edf-7582-4031-93f0-d6efddf13a8d

that includes the and justice ministers, solicitor generals at the federal and provincial levels now too and who is going to hold them all accountable? not the bad PM for sure.

Here is what I know for sure in Canada proper policing, management ,  supervision  human rights commissions are a real fact of life, society, in schools, life,  in churches, governments, commerce, institutions, civil and public services, professional services too,  and elsewhere, even on the net,  for you will always have those 30 percent at least of the persons who will try to cheat, lie  , steal, bend the rules, falsely believe they are above the laws, Self  regulation alone is too often pretentious, farcical, often not applied as well.

It has always confounded me as to why the liars, crooks, deceivers, abusers  too often do still do think they can get away with now, next and forever.

FOR WE TEND TO KNOW THAT THEY THE CROOKS, ABUSERS TOO,  NOW ARE NOT ABOUT TO STOP THEIR WRONG DOINGS. RATHER THEY WILL NEXT EVEN ESCALATE, CONTINUE IN THEM. AND THAT IS ANOTHER VALID REASON  THEY DO NEED TO BE EXPOSED, PROSECUTED AND STOPPED. EVEN FOR THE GOOD OF US ALL.

RCMP-Mounties

0amazing
I have openly, rightfully only been complaining to all as to how really bad the RCMP now is the last 25 years, Quarter of a century

“William Elliott, a civilian and consummate government insider, succeeded Zaccardelli in mid-2007 with a mandate to revamp the force for a new century.  Just over a year ago, a federal task force on the RCMP called for major changes to the structure, independence and oversight of the Mounties. Toronto lawyer David Brown, who led the review, said the RCMP was hopelessly tangled in bureaucracy and required more authority to manage its own staff and budget.  Drawing on feedback from more than 2,000 Mounties, task force members were struck by employees’ steadfast pride and dedication. But they also saw disillusionment and anger stemming from shortages of people and equipment, sheer overwork, and health and safety problems.  The Brown task force report, Rebuilding the Trust, made dozens of recommendations on everything from recruitment and performance evaluations to public relations and ethics to address the “deep and fundamental” problems.  It said the RCMP needed a civilian board of management to oversee organization and administration of the RCMP, and a refurbished complaints watchdog with more teeth. Elliott embraced the message. “Let me be clear,” he said. “There is simply no other option. The RCMP must change.” A five-member council plucked from outside the force to help guide the overall transformation of the RCMP applauded progress in a November report, but added “a great deal remains to be done.” Despite the emphasis on the future, ghosts of controversies past continued to haunt the force in 2008.  The Mounties closed the books on a probe into damaging leaks that tarred Arar’s reputation without laying charges.  A federal inquiry into the imprisonment of three other Arab-Canadian men jailed abroad found RCMP information-sharing likely contributed to their torture.  And questions persisted about the October 2007 case of Polish immigrant Robert Dziekanski, who died after he was repeatedly Tasered and pinned to the floor by RCMP officers at Vancouver International Airport. A British Columbia inquiry into the stun guns and the circumstances of Dziekanski’s death resumes in the new year.  An amateur video of the incident contradicted an RCMP assertion that he remained combative after first being zapped with the Taser.” http://ca.news.yahoo.com/s/capress/081228/national/year_rcmp

Cheap talk, RCMP spins, More mere PR, all  is still not acceptable.. fire the whole RCMP force and replace it with a decent one. Everyone by now should know the Mounties are cost infective, too often mostly pretentious, useless.

Top 10 recommendations to RCMP

The report of the Task Force on Governance and Cultural Change in the RCMP, chaired by Mr. David Brown, a Toronto lawyer, are widely believed may one day be remembered as the document that falsely saved the Mounties from extinction. Following are the top 10 recommendations:

  • Give RCMP separated employer status, with full authority to manage its financial and human resources affairs.
  • Create an independent Board of Management responsible for stewardship and administration of the organization.
  • Create a new, independent Commission for Complaints and Oversight of the RCMP.
  • Increase financial resources to the force so it can fulfill its contract and federal policing responsibilities.
  • Launch an efficiency study to improve job specialization and performance.
  • No more voluntary overtime; members must be compensated for overtime work.
  • Implement a national back-up policy to lower risks for members.
  • Implement a new internal discipline system that is less adversarial and more timely.
  • RCMP should pay cadets during their training to increase recruit quality.
  • Implement compulsory performance reviews for all members and replace existing promotion system with one based on performance, knowledge and skill.

Young offenders, Rivalry, gangs

Did you know that sibling rivalry, abuse is one of the most common forms of family violence? Siblings will use physical violence because they have learned it from their parents, a bad mother or a bad father,  or other adults. In fact, one study found that 76% of the children who were repeatedly abused by their parents also abused their siblings.. and their spouse next too

Everyone  needs to set boundaries on what is acceptable behavior. No verbal abuses, no bullying, no lying, no foul languages, no hitting or other violence should be allowed. Another step parents can take to prevent abuse between siblings is to model their own respectful behavior in your family. Children learn how to interact with others by observing them.

Do a check-up on your family and others  this week:
Do you treat your children. others respectfully?
Do your children treat each other respectfully?
Are your children hitting each other when conflicts occur?
Do you have Home, office, internet rules in place for acceptable behavior?

You may need to call a family meeting to work out problem-solving strategies before rough housing turns to abuse, unacceptable violence

Info on Sibling rivalry, young offenders, gangs, mafia, war

(Psalm 133:1 KJV)  Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity!

Sibling rivalry is a type of sinful, selfish competition or animosity among brothers and sisters, blood-related or not..
the sibling bond is often complicated and is influenced by factors such as parental treatment, birth order, personality, and people and experiences outside the family. Sibling rivalry is particularly intense when children are very close in age and of the same gender, or where one child is intellectually gifted, or one child has received or attains  a bigger inheritance, earning, position, status in life. Adolescents fight for the same reasons younger children fight,  Fighting with siblings as a way to get attention, power  may increase in adolescence. Events even such as a strained marriage may  drive them seriously  apart. Sibling Rivalry in the Bible – sample cases: Cain and Abel, Esau and Jacob, and Joseph and his brothers., Leah and Rachel, and today’s counterpart is the conflicts between the Arabs and the Jews, gangs, Mafia

(Prov 15:1 KJV)  A soft answer turneth away wrath: but grievous words stir up anger.

Sibling rivalry, war is the jealousy, competition and fighting between the unloving and/or  unloved brothers and sisters firstly, and with others next too.  It is a concern for almost all parents of two or more kids. Problems often start right after the birth of the second child.  Sibling rivalry usually continues throughout childhood and even adulthood, it can be very embarrassing, frustrating and stressful to parents.  There some things parents can do to help their young kids get along better and work through conflicts in positive ways and  help you keep the peace at your house.

Sibling rivalry, war  is as old as the children of Adam and Eve and is too often recorded now as a sin in the Bible as well that has negative consequences on the persons involved and even others.

The real sad part is that many adults play also this false game still too.. Conquer and destroy!

Sibling rivalry can also be caused by proximity in age. Research suggests that siblings that are within two years’ age of one another tend to have more sibling rivalry than other siblings.  Ultimately, sibling rivalry is often caused not only by by blocked goals but by  poor personal communication skills, bad or extreme values,  just like almost any other sorts of adult conflicts and wars

There are many factors that contribute to sibling rivalry:

-Past and present neglect of the siblings by the parents will top it all.. there are overarching sorts of factors and events that can be, ultimately, the root causes of any sibling rivalry. Knowing what these important factors and events are can help you to not only understand the causes of sibling rivalry, but to deal with sibling rivalry more effectively when it does occur. Some of the most common causes of sibling rivalry tends to be jealousy or selfishness.
-Each child, person  is mostly competing to define who they are as an individual.  As they discover who they are, they try to find their own talents, activities, and interests.  They want to show that they are separate from their siblings.
-Rejected Children, Adults too  feel they are getting unequal amounts of your attention, discipline, and responsiveness.
-Children often may feel their relationship with their parents is threatened by the arrival of a new baby.
-A  children’s and an Adult’s developmental stages affect how well they can share your attention and get along with one another.
-Children and adults  who are hungry, bored or tired, nervous, stressed out  are more likely to start fights.
– Too many Children, adults too  do not know positive ways to get attention from their brother or sister, so they pick fights.
– Family dynamics play a serious role here as well when one of the parent  neglect one of their children, or shows a false favoring, partiality,. We are reminded this happened in the biblical account of Joseph and his brothers due to his new coat of many colors,
– Children, adults  will fight more with each other in families where there is no set bounders, understanding that their fighting is not an acceptable way to resolve conflicts.
– All Families that don’t share enjoyable times together will probably have more family conflict next exasperated by a jealous immoral, insecure, poor self esteem  spouse(s)  of the siblings now too
– Unresolved Stress, poor health  in the parent’s lives will often  decrease the amount of still need attention parents give the children and thus increase the sibling rivalry.
– Stress in the  children’s lives will next  shorten their fuses, and create more conflict, cause significant home, community  and even health problems as well

So how the good and bad parents do now still treat their kids, children and how they do now react to conflict will  make a big difference in how well siblings get along.

The degree of existence of sibling rivalry, young offenders, gangs  tends to show how good of a parent, manager, administrator now you really were, are.

“as many as 53 out of every 100 children abuse a brother or sister, higher than the percentage of adults who abuse their children or their spouse. What some kids do to their brother or sister inside the family would be called assault outside the family. As parents, we may be tempted to ignore fighting and quarrelling between children. We may view these activities as a normal part of growing up. We say, “Kids will be kids” or “They’ll grow out of it.”   However, thousands of adult survivors of sibling abuse tell of the far-reaching negative effects that such unchecked behavior has had on them as children and adults. Children often abuse a brother or sister, usually younger than themselves, to gain power and control. One explanation for this is that the abusive child (generally with a poor self esteem) feels powerless, neglected and insecure. He or she may feel strong only in relation to a sibling being powerless. The feeling of power children experience when they mistreat a brother or sister often reinforces their decision to repeat the abuse “  http://www.sasian.org/papers/rivabuse.htm

What about Bullying?
When any verbal remarks becomes hurtful, unkind to others, and too constant, it now has crossed the line of acceptance, decency and it does needs to stop, to be corrected. Bullying is intentional tormenting in physical, verbal, or psychological ways. It can range from hitting, shoving, name-calling, threats, and mocking to extorting money and one’s possessions. Some persons  bully by shunning others and spreading false rumors about them. Others use email, chat rooms, instant messages, social networking websites, and text messages to taunt others or try hurt their feelings.  It’s important to take bullying seriously for effects can be serious and affect ones’ sense of self-worth and future relationships. In severe cases, bullying has contributed to tragedies, such as school shootings.

Why Do some persons Bully? They  bully for a variety of reasons. Sometimes they bully because they need a victim  to try to falsely, selfishly, sinfully   make themselves feel more important, popular, or in control. Often they do bully, torment others because that’s the way they’ve been treated in the past too. They even may think their behavior is normal because they come from families or other settings where everyone regularly gets angry, shouts, or calls others names.

Take it seriously also if you even  hear that the bullying will get worse if the bully finds out that your child has  told others. Many states have bullying laws and policies.   if you have serious concerns about your child’s safety, you may need to contact legal authorities. Do not hesitate to expose it too. Verbal abuse  unstopped, unchecked unrestrained often next turns to physical abuse, wrongful violence.

Why Do They even  Hate Each Other? In this society, too many people have the false expectation that they will love others and thus next will get along well with everyone, even in  in their family, Church, community, work. They always expect to feel positive toward their parents, brothers, sisters, spouse and children. This is unrealistic  Most people, themselves however, have at least some times when they don’t feel very loving toward   others. Some persons are even born  really bad, or have become really bad persons now too.

Relationships often can be are close, both emotionally and physically, and thus even very intense.  Because they are   closer at home, communities, church too, the related  members have a greater power than anyone else to make other members feel angry, sad, confused — and loving. This is as true for children and adolescents as it is for adults.

(Mat 18:1 KJV)  At the same time came the disciples unto Jesus, saying, Who is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven?
2  And Jesus called a little child unto him, and set him in the midst of them,
3  And said, Verily I say unto you, Except ye be converted, and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven.
4  Whosoever therefore shall humble himself as this little child, the same is greatest in the kingdom of heaven.
5  And whoso shall receive one such little child in my name receiveth me.
6  But whoso shall offend one of these little ones which believe in me, it were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and that he were drowned in the depth of the sea.
7  Woe unto the world because of offences! for it must needs be that offences come; but woe to that man by whom the offence cometh!
8  Wherefore if thy hand or thy foot offend thee, cut them off, and cast them from thee: it is better for thee to enter into life halt or maimed, rather than having two hands or two feet to be cast into everlasting fire.
9  And if thine eye offend thee, pluck it out, and cast it from thee: it is better for thee to enter into life with one eye, rather than having two eyes to be cast into hell fire.
10  Take heed that ye despise not one of these little ones; for I say unto you, That in heaven their angels do always behold the face of my Father which is in heaven.
11  For the Son of man is come to save that which was lost.

Forced submissions by adults, particularly in the church, or elsewhere, can often rightfully be taken as bullying, enslavement and is still unacceptable too.

Why do we hear of the Russian Mafia, and the Asian Gangs now more increasing, because their parents have neglected them while they were busy trying to get rich, richer.

(James 4:1 KJV)  From whence come wars and fightings among you? come they not hence, even of your lusts that war in your members?
2  Ye lust, and have not: ye kill, and desire to have, and cannot obtain: ye fight and war, yet ye have not, because ye ask not.
3  Ye ask, and receive not, because ye ask amiss, that ye may consume it upon your lusts.
4  Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God.
5  Do ye think that the scripture saith in vain, The spirit that dwelleth in us lusteth to envy?
6  But he giveth more grace. Wherefore he saith, God resisteth the proud, but giveth grace unto the humble.
7  Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.
8  Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded.
9  Be afflicted, and mourn, and weep: let your laughter be turned to mourning, and your joy to heaviness.
10  Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and he shall lift you up.
11  Speak not evil one of another, brethren. He that speaketh evil of his brother, and judgeth his brother, speaketh evil of the law, and judgeth the law: but if thou judge the law, thou art not a doer of the law, but a judge.
12  There is one lawgiver, who is able to save and to destroy: who art thou that judgest another?
13  Go to now, ye that say, To day or to morrow we will go into such a city, and continue there a year, and buy and sell, and get gain:
14  Whereas ye know not what shall be on the morrow. For what is your life? It is even a vapour, that appeareth for a little time, and then vanisheth away.
15  For that ye ought to say, If the Lord will, we shall live, and do this, or that.
16  But now ye rejoice in your boastings: all such rejoicing is evil.
17  Therefore to him that knoweth to do good, and doeth it not, to him it is sin.
5:1  Go to now, ye rich men, weep and howl for your miseries that shall come upon you.
2  Your riches are corrupted, and your garments are motheaten.
3  Your gold and silver is cankered; and the rust of them shall be a witness against you, and shall eat your flesh as it were fire. Ye have heaped treasure together for the last days.

(Prov 22:6 KJV)  Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it

(Prov 22:6 KJV)  Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it

.- Train your children firstly in the right way.. neglect any of them and everyone next will pay the negative price..
– Tell them that being self centered, selfish, concerned only about their own needs, desires is still an unacceptable sin, negative approach.
– Don’t play favorites or refuse to forgive, do not take sides as well. Your children need to learn that you will do your best to meet each of their unique needs.
– Never compare your children.
– Don’t typecast.  Let each child be who they are.  Don’t try to pigeonhole or label them
– Set your kids up to cooperate rather than compete.
– Teach your kids positive ways to get attention from each other.
– Don’t yell or lecture.  It really won’t help at all..
– Listen—really listen—to how your children feel about what’s going on in the family. and next also act upon it positively. They seek the parent’s help first often,  They may not be so demanding if they know you at least care how they feel. “When parents falsely unwisely crash, jump into sibling spats, they often protect one child (usually the younger sibling) against the other (usually the older one).  This escalates the conflict, because the older child resents the younger, and the younger feels that they can get away with more since the parent is “on their side.”  ”
– Celebrate your children’s differences, positive aspects and not mainly their negatives.
– Let each child know they are still unique and special— accept them, you love and care for them, just for whom they are.
– Encourage win-win negotiations, where each side gains something.
– If you are constantly angry at your kids, no wonder they are angry at each other!  Anger feeds on itself.  Learn to manage your anger, so you can teach your children how to manage theirs.
– learn, Teach conflict resolution skills during calm times.
– Personally Model good conflict resolution skills for your kids.
– Try to Involve your children in setting ground rules.
– Enforced Ground rules, with clear and consistent consequences for breaking them, can help prevent many squabbles.

Siblings often do fight for a number of reasons:
-They fight because they want a parent’s or other person’s attention, especially where the parent has only so much time, attention and patience to give.
-They fight because they are selfish, jealous: “He got a new bike. I didn’t. They must love him more than they love me.”
-They even fight over ordinary teasing which is a way of testing the effects of behavior and words on another person: “He called me…” “But she called me…first.”
-They fight because they are growing up in a competitive, aggressive, self centered, worldly, dog eat dog,   society that falsely teaches them that to get it, to win is to be better than to be the loser. “I saw it first.” “I beat you to the water.”

Lessons about jealousy, competition, sharing and kindness are difficult to learn, and, indeed, even many adults still still haven’t learned them. Too many adolescent may not recognize, admit still  their needs or may be too embarrassed to express them verbally, so their ongoing fighting with siblings is a way to get their needs,  personal  attention which often next  actually increase in adolescence life.

A Parent’s Checklist
As a parent, do you:
-Set aside some time to be alone with each child?
-Recognize that each child is different?
-Make sure your adolescents realize they are each unique and have a special set of strengths?
-Praise adolescents for being who they are and not just for what they can do?
-Avoid initiating competition among children?
-Realize adolescents and younger children need to be given the right also to decide not to share at least some of the time?
-Be sure older children are not usually forced to give in to younger ones because “he’s little” or “she doesn’t know better?”
-Talk positively to the adolescents about their fighting?
-Falsely encourage, promote the sibling fighting?

So the still mostly useless Albertan Prime Minister Stephen Harper and federal Justice Minister Rob Nicholson MP want to get tough on the young offenders, instead of on the parents, show to us all how ignorantly they are and very poor parents now too.. They clearly themselves firstly need to be educated.

Resolving the Conflicts requires still anger management too and  :

Admitting, recognizing the stress issue.
Effectively dealing with the issue in a positive manner… For the matters left on their own to be resolved   tend to get worse and not better

The instinctive, natural way it seems is merely to immediacy, feel anger, to  express our anger and to to respond  immediately aggressively as well.. not much self control obvious.. as opposed to a planed, deliberate, calculated, thought our approach.

When you are angry, you probably feel:

muscle tension
accelerated heartbeat
a “knot” or “butterflies” in your stomach
changes in your breathing
trembling
goose bumps
flushed in the face

You can reduce the rush of adrenaline that’s responsible for your heart beating faster, your voice sounding louder, and your fists clenching if you:

Take a few slow, deep breaths and concentrate on your breathing.
Imagine yourself at a better place, the beach, by a lake, or anywhere that makes you feel calm and peaceful.
Try other thoughts or actions that have helped you relax in the past.

“Calm down.”
“I don’t need to prove myself.”
“I’m not going to let him/her get to me.”

This often Aggressive Anger is a  response to  our perceived threats; it inspires powerful, often visible  feelings and behaviors. But we can’t physically lash out at every person or object that irritates or annoys us; laws, social norms, and for most of us our own common sense places valid limits on how far our anger can take us.

Stop. Consider the consequences. Think before you act. Try to find positive or neutral explanations for what that person did that provoked you.  Learn to recognize what sets you off and how anger feels to you. Learn to think through the benefits of controlling your anger and the consequences of losing control. Control your own  behavior, don’t let anger control you.

Identify the problem, problem behavior. Isolate it from the emotions associated with it and evaluate it.  How often does it happen and how long can  it go on?  What is the purpose of the behavior? If it tears down another person, it is abusive.  If you suspect abuse, it’s important to act quickly to stop it. Do not hesitate to bring it into the open, to expose it next to all for what it really is, unacceptable abuse. Get enough fact and feeling information to assess the problem accurately. Restate the problem to make sure you understand it clearly. Figure out alternative solutions to the problem.

We face a choice  to deal with their angry feelings  such as expressing our anger, suppressing our outrage, and submissiveness, calming Ourselves, controlling our outward behavior, but also controlling our internal responses, taking steps to lower our heart rate, calm yourself down, and letting  the emotional feelings subside.

Assertiveness is expressing our anger in love ,without hurting others. Being assertive here doesn’t mean being pushy or demanding; it means being respectful of yourself and others.

Anger turned inward may cause next  hypertension, high blood pressure,  a self pity complex, or depression.

” Unexpressed specific anger can create other problems. It can lead to pathological expressions of anger, such as passive-aggressive behavior (getting back at people indirectly, without telling them why, rather than confronting them head-on) or a personality that seems perpetually cynical and hostile. People who are constantly putting others down, criticizing everything, and making cynical comments haven’t learned how to constructively express their anger. Not surprisingly, they aren’t likely to have many successful relationships. ”

Anger management  reducing  both your emotional feelings and the physiological arousal that anger causes. You can’t always get rid of, or avoid, the things or the people that enrage you, nor can you change them, but you can learn to control your reactions, and express, act in a positive manner, for the good of all.

It’s best to find out what it is that triggers your anger, and then to develop strategies to deal with and to keep those triggers from tipping you over the edge.

Remind yourself that merely getting angry is not going to fix anything, that it won’t make you feel better (and may actually make you feel worse). You need to focus on the problem and deal with it effectively;

Logic defeats anger, because anger, even when it’s justified, can quickly become irrational. So use cold hard logic, Such as ” you’re just experiencing some of the rough spots of daily life. Normal  people tend expect : fairness, appreciation, agreement, willingness, congenital agreements. The first best attitude to bring to such a problem situation, then, is not to focus on solely now finding the solution, but rather firstly on how you handle and face the problem.

Set ground rules to prevent emotional abuse, and stick to them. For example, make it clear you will not put up with name-calling, teasing, belittling, intimidating,   provoking, cheating, lying, stealing, bullying, physical abuses, intimidations and you will firmly deal with it too. Living with bad, fighting adolescent siblings is not pleasant. Clearly show all of the  adolescents the cost of fighting is higher than the falsely expected reward.

Next  tell of the trouble makers, bad adolescents that while it’s normal to have disagreements, the constant fighting upsets you  and you  value peace at home. You also can  can say they will no longer be the judge and jury over the siblings’, adolescents  disputes, wars  and you merely will not stand for it, put up with it and stand by the resolution with firm action!

Timing: use a controlled, well thought out  response to Control the event on your own time, and don’t merely be hastily suckered into facing, dealing with it unprepared. Also now do Give yourself a regular break from the conflicts, stressful situations. Make sure always too you have some “personal time” scheduled for times of the day, the place  that you know are particularly stressful.  One’s Problems and responsibilities can weigh on you and make you feel angry at the set “trap” you seem again to have fallen into and all the people and things that form that trap. Sometimes it’s our unavoidable immediate surroundings that give us continual, ongoing, unavoidable  cause for irritation and fury. If need be do next Remove yourself permanently from the environment, for your own good health firstly . One does not have to put with with these mostly false conflicts forever.

Set clear consequences for broken rules.  What will happen if they break the rules? For example, one husband told his wife he would no longer spoil his wife, indulge in all of her false whims, desires, abuses, but next would not merely give her two  alternative choices beforehand, one would lead to a reward, one whole lead to negative personal consequences for her.  Choice one – resolve the conflicts peacefully, amiably.  Or if she continued to cause false problems, fighting he would merely fire her, terminate the relationship, divorce the marriage. He next  was forced to take the second alternative.

“I agree, that this is a horrible situation and not a marriage – get out before you are seriously hurt. I also don’t believe in an eye for an eye and certainly not hurting anyone. I never believe that violence is the answer to anything. Notwithstanding  she shouldn’t ever abuse you, verbally or physically. She is not stable at all, forget on trying next to figure out why as well, as she needs professional help.  No one needs to stay in an abusive relationship.  This woman is really terrible and with no self control . If you don’t know how to set and enforce your boundaries, please do get help here. You do deserve much better than an abusing wife with mental issues.  I also suspect that she is well aware of her actions. She is conniving and manipulating you too – and  why would you even consider crawling back to her? She is treating you this way because you  have wrongfully  enabled her to do so. .I too  not saying that it is your fault, but I am saying that there are true bad persons, about 30 percent of all persons,  now still  in the world who can sense other people’s weakness from a mile way and they try to capitalize on that vulnerability through abuse. How does she deserve you? Why in the first place do you even  think you deserve to be treated this way? Surely you know by now that she really does does not make a good wife? You really are essentially rewarding her shocking behavior by putting up with her bad acts.  You truly can’t change her behavior but you can now change yours. NO MATTER WHAT YOU ARE LIKE, HOW SINCERE YOU ARE TOO, ONE  never does not deserve to have to live like this, to have to put up with living with an emotional/physical  and/or alcoholic  abuser, bad spouse, even a clear control freak too. You first do need to keep yourself safe now, next from this woman and when you  do  leave do not  go back.  You really can’t force, make your wife stop her bad acts, so you need to decide whether you want to try to unlikely  salvage the marital relationship at all. If you do, you need to tell her that you will only stay in the marriage is if she gets treatment for her abusive nature . And also only  if she never does it again. That means no abuse at all, none – the emotional as well as the physical abuse. The  sole likley serious option now is just to call it quits. There’s nothing wrong with this option. Not everyone deserves another chance. She may not, does . If your wife doesn’t accept that she has a problem and isn’t willing to accept help, you do have to get a separation and also now  put everything out in the open, even  in courts, so you can actually get your life back..  She is merely reaping what she has sowed. Leave her and let her sort herself out. It is unlikely she ever will too.  Protect yourself, look after yourself anyway. After finding myself in a similar situation, I left.  Since then, things have never been better.  I met my ex wife 6 months later, and she immediately said to me, I udenerstand that your are happier living without me,  and I replied that no thanks to her that was true. 30 years later it is still true too.”

” In today’s society it is assumed that men are the physical abusers of women and in cases of emotional and/or physical abuse of men it is seen that the man has instigated this so the woman has simply retaliated to abuse of the man and the man is still held accountable.  Unfortunately, as with so many relationship or child issues the woman is more readily believed and the man more readily blamed. I’m a woman in my 40’s and have been through the family court system over the past 10 years and I have seen a lot of what happens in these cases from both the man and the woman’s point of view. ” men and women are equal sinners.”

“I’d like to wrongfully say “beat the sh*t out of her”, but fortunately you wouldn’t get away with it. Instead, do everyone a good service,  just toss her out, she’s an abusive parasite and doesn’t deserve any husband. “

“One father reported that every time a fight started, he would say to his adolescents, “You’re fighting. I’m leaving.” And then he would go out to work in the yard or take a drive or run an errand — but he simply walked away from the fighting. A mother used a similar tactic. When the fighting began, she said, “Call me when it’s over.” Then she went to her bedroom, slamming the door to emphasize her point. Another parent made his adolescents leave the house when they began fighting. ”

In each of these cases, the parents, adolescents  demonstrated that their ongoing fighting would not get their attention and they would not get involved in the fight.

Do not hesitate to Remove yourself  from the problem behavioral  person, or remove the root cause of the problem child , adult

The angered people tend to jump to-and act on-conclusions, and some of those conclusions can be very inaccurate. The first thing to do if you’re in a heated discussion is slow down and think through your responses. Don’t say the first thing that comes into your head, but slow down and think carefully about what you want to say. At the same time, listen carefully to what the other person is saying and take your time before answering.  Listen, too, to what is underlying cause of your  anger. It’s natural to get defensive when you’re criticized, but don’t fight back. Instead, listen to what’s underlying the words: the message that this person might feel neglected and unloved. It may take a lot of patient questioning on your part, and it may require some breathing space, but don’t let your anger-or a partner’s-let a discussion spin out of control. Keeping your cool can keep the situation from becoming a disastrous one.

Instead of doing nothing, which postpones the inevitable anyway. Seek, get sound advice, the valid  opinion of others too. Make a plan, and check your progress along the way. Resolve to give it your best, but also not to punish yourself if an answer doesn’t come right away. If you can approach the conflicts, fight  it with your best intentions and efforts and make a serious attempt to face it head-on, you will be less likely to lose patience and fall into all-or-nothing thinking, even if the problem does not get solved right away.

Remember, you can’t eliminate anger-and it wouldn’t be a good idea if you could. In spite of all your efforts, things will happen that will cause you anger; and sometimes it will be justifiable anger. Life will be filled with frustration, pain, loss, and the unpredictable actions of others. You can’t change that; but you can change the way you let such events affect you. Controlling effectively your angry responses can keep them from making you even more unhappy in the long run.

Negative Results of unchecked Sibling Rivalry or Sibling Abuse : Thousands of adult survivors of sibling abuse can readily tell of the far-reaching negative effects that such unchecked behavior has had on them as children and even as adults. For instance, one person, reflecting back on their relationship with   a brother wrote: “I believed EVERYTHING my brother told me. Even if it was lies to make himself look better.  Children and adults often still do wrongfully abuse a brother or sister  to falsely try to  gain power and control.

Hey it is just classical psychology   that If you notice the following warning signs in a person  over a period of time, the potential for increased unacceptable physical  violence by them next also exists:

a history of aggressive, abnormal, offensive behavior
serious drug or alcohol abuse
gang membership or strong desire to be accepted by the gang, to be in a gang
threatening others regularly
trouble controlling feelings like anger
withdrawal from good friends and from the normal, usual, acceptable  activities
visibly feeling rejected or alone
having been a victim of bullying, or now being a bully themselves
poor school or job performance
history of discipline problems or frequent run-ins with authority
feeling constantly disrespected
failing to acknowledge the feelings  rights of others
or failing to acknowledge  the abuse of others
access to or fascination with weapons, especially guns

When you recognize these unacceptable future increased violence warning signs in someone else deal with it.   Hoping that someone else will deal with the situation is still false way out.

Be safe. Don’t spend time alone with people who show any of these warning signs and  remove the person from the situation that’s setting them off.

The most important thing to remember is don’t go it alone. Expose the matter to others as well.

Even verbal abuse left unchecked, unrestrained next tends to escalate and leads to real, unacceptable physical abuses.

11 Tips for Coping with Personal unresolved Stress

God grant me the serenity
to accept the things I cannot change;
courage to change the things I can;
and wisdom to know the difference

Lord, make me an instrument of your peace,
Where there is hatred, let me sow love;
where there is injury, pardon;
where there is doubt, faith;
where there is despair, hope;
where there is darkness, light;
where there is sadness, joy;
O Divine Master, grant that I may not so much seek to be consoled as to console;
to be understood as to understand;
to be loved as to love.
For it is in giving that we receive;
it is in pardoning that we are pardoned;
and it is in dying that we are born to eternal life.

The prayers of Saint Francis of Assisi

1. First Concentrate on the present.   You cannot change the past, but you can work on having a better future
Don’t needlessly, continually  dwell on the past or worry about a future you cannot control. Have a positive and not a a negative, defeatist attitude now as well

2. Consider, Admit and deal with  your  past, present  problems one at a time.  First personally define, Write down those things that Bother you, do Number them, and do decide what you can and cannot do abut  them too . Prioritize as well Decide which ones are still important and which ones are no longer important to deal with.
If there are lots of items  you want to change, start by focusing on one or two of the most bothersome or dangerous ones. Don’t try to make too many changes all at once. Don’t merely lump your complaints,  problems together, it can make them seem overwhelming.

Remember
Anger and aggression are different. Anger is a temporary emotional state caused by frustration; while aggression is often an attempt to hurt a person or to destroy property.
Anger and aggression do not have to be dirty words. We must be careful to tell the difference between behavior that indicates emotional problems and behavior that is normal. Convert aggression to assertiveness, actions done in love as well.

3. Take positive action.  Do review all of your options, such as writing a letter of complaint to the right party, in detail reporting the matter so you do not have to have it repeated on you.
Make sure you have realistic expectations, goals, approaches too. Once you’ve decided what you want to do about a problem, act consistently quickly ,  firmly and follow up on it too.

4. Don’t   merely complain about your problems . Continually complaining is wasteful, and seriously for a stat don’t expect only others alone to resolve them, deal with them yourself .
Talk things over with your family and good friends. Look for the positive, possible, practical  solutions.

5. Occupy yourself and your mind.  Determine what you can and cannot do, how much time you should spend on it, also do go on with your life
Social interaction, alternative activities can help during a time of stress by not continually focusing on the problem

6. Don’t just blame the other people for your problems and their failure at  Resolving them – be an active part of the solution yourself if need be
Frustrated hostility will accomplish nothing and can only make and feel worse.

7. Exercise every day.
Go for a walk and concentrate on your surroundings instead of  just on your problems.

8. Maintain a daily routine. even if you are unemployed, retired, but do not get into a continual rut as well
I have often helped many a poor, depressed person, not by any medications, but by  simply by changing their daily normal activity routine, and next by taking them for a drive into the country, or taking them to see a good film, a comedy, or Giving them some good movies to watch, or by me taking them to a fine food restaurant, or by me taking them for a long  walk through unfamiliar surroundings.. and it worked.. it actually next had broke them out of their long term depression.

Can’t change positively   the person? try first changing their surroundings, environment temporarily?
A familiar pattern of  daily activates can decrease stress and increase your sense of security. Be willing to make a change once a while as well.

9. Avoid taking your problems to bed. Try to forgive and forget.
Clear your mind of the days thoughts so you can get a good night sleep.

10. Talk to your adequate health care provider, helper. Pick and choose, for remember there are still good and bad professionals.
She/he can help you find the right agency or person(s) to assist you in coping with stress.

With God on your side you will always be a winner

St. Francis of Assisi’s prayer in praise of God
You are holy, Lord, the only God,
and Your deeds are wonderful.
You are strong.
You are great.
You are the Most High.
You are Almighty.
You, Holy Father are King of heaven and earth.
You are Three and One, Lord God, all Good.
You are Good, all Good, supreme Good,
Lord God, living and true.
You are love. You are wisdom.
You are humility. You are endurance.
You are rest. You are peace.
You are joy and gladness.
You are justice and moderation.
You are all our riches, and You suffice for us.
You are beauty.
You are gentleness.
You are our protector.
You are our guardian and defender.
You are our courage. You are our haven and our hope.
You are our faith, our great consolation.
You are our eternal life, Great and Wonderful Lord,
God Almighty, Merciful Saviour.

Get  educated now, and know more on  how to effectively deal with abuses, Bullies and abusive persons today.

If you are being verbally, physically, sexually abused do not hesitate to bring the matter into the open, tell your colleagues, friends and neighbors about it, your church pastors, elders too, congregation members, ands even do call the police. Public exposure and prosecution of the guilty persons always serves everyone’s best interests.

Canada’s top news 2008.

Amazing Canada’s news editors selected Bad Conservative Stephen Harper as the news maker of the year.. including his failure to make a majority government again. “Stephen Harper.  What a difference a few weeks make in the political world. Remember when Prime Minister Stephen Harper badly miscalculated Parliament, and plunged the country into a political crisis of his making.  Even the Globe and Mail was calling for his resignation as Conservative leader, such was the over-reach and arrogance of the Sweatered One late in 2008. Steve’s Grinch-like uber-partisan heart was laid bare with his ham-fisted attempt to bankrupt democracy by cutting federal subsidies to political parties. And Harper’s ugly ideological core was exposed with his stimulus-less economic update. We must also mention Harper’s blatant demagogic misrepresentation of the functioning of Canada’s parliamentary democracy. This was beyond naughty. It was inexcusable ” and“The Governor General (and, by extension, Queen Elizabeth). Prorogation was her prerogative, and we don’t even get to know her rationale for giving the Harper government a stay-of-execution in face of a coalition ready to pull the plug. The GG may have set a disastrous precedent where any embattled minority PM can merely padlock Parliament to cling to power..”

The seven-day war. Just 44 days after pledging peace and parliamentary order, Prime Minister Stephen Harper inserted a paragraph into the fiscal update to cancel $30-million worth of public funding for political parties. It was allegedly a cost-savings gesture, but clearly intended to whack less-solvent opposition parties the hardest. Not surprisingly, it unleashed the political firestorm of this century. In less than a week, a coalition of all three opposition parties formed and forced the government to retreat on the party financing cut. When that failed to pacify the trio, Harper delayed a confidence vote and ultimately prorogued Parliament after just 13 sitting days to avoid the government-toppling coronation of Prime Minister Stephane Dion. After Parliament was unplugged and the coalition lost momentum, Liberals shunted aside Dion for new leader Michael Ignatieff and all sides now brace for the return of the re-poisoned Commons atmosphere in late January. Another election lurks on the horizon. The buying opportunity: With the market in meltdown mode and seniors nervously eyeing their cracking nest-eggs, a campaigning Harper declared it a stock-buying opportunity. Never mind that it was a slap to anyone losing their shirts without the financial means to buy back in, it was lousy advice. Anyone who’d followed his suggestion would’ve lost roughly 20 per cent of their investment. Fiscal update: Whatever could’ve possessed Finance Minister Jim Flaherty to add the trickery of cancelled party financing to the rows of imaginary surplus projections in an economic stimulus package and still expect the opposition parties to roll over and endorse his scheme remains the headscratcher of the year. He almost toppled his own government with that recklessly irresponsible, bogus document. No deficit, no recession, no bailouts: So said Stephen Harper repeatedly and defiantly during the fall election campaign. We are now a month away from unveiling a huge deficit to fight a possible depression topped by aid packages for auto, forestry and mining sectors. Oops. The quickie prorogation: After one of the shortest sessions in history, Harper sent MPs home early to avoid his government’s defeat.  http://www.canada.com/calgaryherald/news/story.html?id=cb23ac69-e4a7-43e9-b833-d7f7e5f79ac9

The senate. Senate choices are revolting,  Harper handing Liberals more ammunition by his patronage appointment of senators. There are those like me who think the Upper House is nothing more than a high-priced retirement home for political hacks. it will cost hard-pressed Canadian taxpayers a fortune. Each senator makes $134,000 a year, or far, far more than the average person who toils at a real job. But wait that is just the begining, add on their paid overseas  trips, expense accounts, etc. This was more about saving his government supporters than anything else.  Harper would have had a lot more credibility if he’d left the positions open and kept pushing for reform.

let us call the Senate what it is: a reward for the party faithful; an occasional arbiter of legislative common sense; and a supreme seat of patronage that looks like a violation of democratic principle to most Canadians, and like its epitome to those who rest their backsides in its cushy red chairs.   ( jmeek@herald.cahttp://thechronicleherald.ca/Columnists/1097828.html

still for me is the best prime example of why the senate  should be abolished, or reformed .. she could not make it in politics, get ahead  in Alberta so next she was given a senate seat..

“Harper’s broken promises     Dec 29, 2008 04:30 AM  With his appointment of 18 Senators, most of whom are Conservative party cronies, Prime Minister Stephen Harper has added another broken promise to the 27 democratic reform and government accountability promises the Conservatives have already broken since they were elected in January 2006.  In their 2006 election platform, the Conservatives promised to establish an independent Public Appointments Commission to ensure fair, merit-based and widely publicized searches for qualified candidates for the PM and his cabinet to appoint to government agencies, boards and commissions.  Harper broke this promise after opposition parties changed the Federal Accountability Act to ensure the commission would be non-partisan and operate independently of cabinet, and be accountable to Parliament if it did not ensure fair appointments. The Conservative cabinet has gone on to appoint more than 1,000 people to key government positions, many with ties to the Conservatives.  They also broke their promise to “Prevent party leaders from appointing candidates without the democratic consent of local electoral district associations” and Harper showed his dishonesty further by appointing several Conservative candidates for the recent election. He has also made false claims about why he has broken these promises, as usual blaming opposition parties for his failures.  The PM also used his so-called “Accountability Act” to cut the ethics rule that requires him and his cabinet and senior officials to be honest. He obviously wanted to protect himself from being found guilty of breaking the honesty rule.  Canadians deserve better. The Conservatives are practising dishonest, unethical, secretive, un-representative and wasteful federal politics as usual. The key question is, will the opposition parties offer good government to voters? ” Duff Conacher, Co-ordinator, Democracy Watch, Ottawa

In 2004, when Scott Brison left the Tories to join the Liberals, Mr. Harper said: “Leaving a party and defecting to the other side for 30 pieces of silver is part of corruption.” Then, on the day after Mr. Harper won an election campaign on ethics, he was the one handing out the silver. There is a striking hypocrisy in this, and in many of Mr. Harper’s subsequent actions — where he behaves the same as the cynical Liberals he once compared to Judas Iscariot. It continued this week, when Mr. Harper appointed 18 senators, something he had promised not to do, all the while denouncing the Liberals for blocking his efforts at Senate reform. Mr. Harper, an old Reformer, swore he would be different from his Liberal and Progressive Conservative predecessors. But when faced with the same temptation, he behaved in exactly the same way as prime ministers always have — he appointed old bagmen and political organizers who had been helpful to him in leadership races and election campaigns, along with a few high-profile Canadians as a fig leaf.

Also now, He promised to establish a Public Appointments Commission to review all political appointees, then reneged when the opposition sniffed at the man he selected to head it, and has continued to make partisan appointments without scrutiny.  What makes Mr. Harper different from other hypocritical politicians is not his reversals but the withering brutality of his attacks on his opponents, reinforced by a legion of talented spin doctors and advertising experts.   It suggests either a psychological inability to recognize that his actions are morally equivalent to those he attacks — or, more likely, a willingness to be as mean as is useful. That meanness, though, has recently backfired on Mr. Harper, twice, at some cost.First, in the recent election campaign, his harsh comments about culture cuts cost him the Quebec seats he needed to win a majority. Then, in the fall fiscal update, his attacks on the opposition’s funding almost cost him power, necessitating another round of hypocritical attacks that boosted his support in the West and burnt his bridges in Quebec. If Quebecers have permanently soured on Mr. Harper — which would put a majority out of reach — Mr. Harper’s appeal would fade in the rest of the country. Having lived, for three years, by the sword, he risks dying from a self-inflicted wound.  http://thechronicleherald.ca/Columnists/1097842.html

Quebec singer-songwriter Michel Rivard’s YouTube video sensation, which mocked Conservative arts funding cuts, likely turned enough tide to prevent the Harper majority from emerging out of Quebec seat gains. It’s deadliest satirical shot featured stiff Anglo bureaucrats auditioning the francophone singer and mistaking his use of “phoque,” or baby seal, as a dirty word. As a hilarious attack ad, it had far greater vote-shifting effects than all the Bloc Quebecois and Liberal advertising combined. Arts funding cut: Hopes for a Conservative majority were built on winning Quebec ridings. So by waiting until the eve of the election to announce modest arts funding cuts and then convincing the prime minister to belittle as caviar-gulping gala hosts all those who receive federal arts subsidies, it was campaign brain death. http://www.canada.com/calgaryherald/news/story.html?id=cb23ac69-e4a7-43e9-b833-d7f7e5f79ac9

– The troubled relationship between Couillard and Maxime Bernier got many people’s attention now too, the Couillard-Bernier scandal

The tempest in a D-Cup. They had allegedly split as lovers, yet Foreign Affairs Minister Maxime Bernier jumped off the plane after a NATO conference on Afghanistan, dashed over to glamorous Julie Couillard’s townhouse for a sleepover and promptly forgot a stack of secret documents in the former biker chick’s living room. The woman scorned got even by disclosing his left-behind documents to media. That little oversight cost Bernier his ministerial job, prompted an internal inquiry, landed Couillard a tell-all book contract and ended with her infamous cleavage-exposing dress being put up for charity auction. You couldn’t make this up either.

About face of the year Ian Brodie. Not only did Harper’s former chief of staff leak damaging information to reporters on the U. S. presidential race, revealing that all their bad-mouthing of NAFTA was meaningless candidate posturing, he hasn’t embraced the spirit of Conservativeimposed rules prohibiting former political appointments from lobbying the government. When he “retired” last spring, Brodie swore an “undertaking” he would not lobby his former boss or the cabinet underlings. First stop in the private sector? An Ottawa lobby firm where he will advise lobbyists on how to lobby the government. Unspeakably shameless.

Remember how it seemed that Harper  didn’t care that he was leading a minority government, next a  single,  monstrous, Harper’s miscalculation caused a chain reaction that,   brought Canada’s economy tumbling down further  and Stephen Harper to his knees and he is now cowling in fear.. for the support a coalition government for Canada is growing and why?. It’s clear that Prime Minister Stephen Harper isn’t serious about helping families and . Harper said he’d make Parliament work better this time. He said he’d do something substantial for the economy. Harper the big liar who still cannot be trusted too. It seems  that it would only be fair if the mostly useless MPs still can shut down Parliament for 50-plus days, that we, the Canadian taxpayers, should be able to rightfully shut down their paycheques for the same period.

Proposed social welfare to big three automotive Car makers – General Motors, Chrysler with all the spins..- Canada’s federal government and three provinces have agreed to provide C$4.45 billion ($3.65 billion) in backstops to support a plan to restructure C$32 billion in asset-backed commercial paper that has been frozen for more than a year. The margin facilities provided by Ottawa and the provinces of Quebec, Ontario and Alberta bring the total guarantees for the restructuring to $17.82 billion, the investor committee that organized the plan said in a statement on Wednesday.

In addition it was clear that the bad RCMP again  this year made major headlines with their use of Tasers and their murder of a polish immigrant Robert Dziekanski   in Vancouver, BC, plus the alcoholic RCMP cops Alcoholism, Cops included   Speed traps  .. Rest in Peace, Robert Dziekanski. How long will we tolerate the cops investigating themselves? How many more families will be denied fair and impartial justice? “

On top of that Canada’s  Bell, BCE made major headlines twice even with their internet download capping, restrictions  admissions and also with the Ontario teacher’s failure of the BCE takeover, and related drops in Bell share prices this year too. Don’t forget the bad “CRTC, for siding with Bell Canada and Big Telecom against consumer and net neutrality. In November, the CRTC announced that they would not force Bell to stop its controversial practice of net throttling. “

Donna Molnar’s husband said Tuesday “God reached down and cradled” his wife — helping her survive 72 hours buried under snow in sub-zero southern Ontario weather.

The world wide recessions, falling oil prices and falling home prices as well made up a serious part of the news in Canada too. so did Alberta’s new deficit..The economic crisis –   How many rich people in Calgary, Edmonton Alberta?

Health – The Maple leaf tainted meat Scandal got our attention as well.. . China entered the spotlight again with their olympics and their a melamine-laced milk products scandal. Canada had its own listeriosis outbreak involving processed meats, Maple Leaf Foods recall  Shit disease continues to kill people in Canada’s Hospitals. The outbreak of listeriosis   killed 20 Canadians last year. It is in ours and in the GOVERNMENTS interests, after all, to ensure that no similar tragedies occur under ALL of  their watch. . On Sept. 3, 2008, Prime Minister Stephen Harper had announced that there would be “an arm’s-length investigation to make sure we get to the bottom, on the government side, on the bureaucratic side, of exactly what transpired” in the fatal outbreak of bacteria in Maple Leaf Foods luncheon meats, “and to make sure as we go forward and we make changes to our system that this kind of thing can’t happen again.” Specifically on Sept. 6, the day before the election was called, Mr. Harper announced the terms of reference – including a reporting deadline of March 15, 2009. That deadline may have been a little ambitious, since an investigation of complex regulations and their enforcement could take longer than a few months. But yet now the same federal government does not appear to be making an effort to meet it – or to treat the matter with any degree of urgency. Even Four months later, and nearly two-thirds of the way through its self-imposed time-frame, it is now still being reported that the government has not yet even named a lead investigator. At this rate, it unlikely that the investigation will even be completed this year. Stephen Harper’s government’s apparent failure to launch an investigation it promised early last fall raises the unsettling thought that its pledge was made largely to prevent the issue from jeopardizing its prospects in the election campaign. There is no plausible justification for this delay. Parliament need not be sitting for the government to appoint investigators; it requires no legislation.   If Mr. Harper was comfortable appointing 18 senators while Parliament is prorogued, he should have no qualms about naming someone to help protect.   With the exception of the controversy surrounding some ill-advised jokes made by Agriculture Minister Gerry Ritz, the listeriosis outbreak played little role in the fall campaign. Canadians did not have much reason to believe the Conservatives bore responsibility for it, and were led to believe the government took the matter seriously. ALL Canadians should now feel differently knowing that  the issue would not be attended to promptly once the federal lection campaign was over. Once again Stephen Harper THE PRETENDER does not keep his promises.

Sports – The defeat of the Montreal Allouettes in football again. The underdogs Calgary Stampeders won the Grey Cup.

– The unpopularity of the now gone, past Liberal Leader Stephane Dion sure made many headlines now too

– The  2007/2008 long cold winter with plenty of snow was another top sellerseems to want to repat itself..Note this important  brief introduction to road safety and the police .. Yes  you always do have to drive safely, in control, not impaired as well and yes there are many, many different factors that now can cause a vehicular, automotive  accident, including but not limited to the actual daily road conditions, even the type of tires you have .. for  it is a fact that good tires lead to a safer drive, and so does a 4 wheel drive.  Next when you start to first drive at any day do first immediately test the road condition by coming to a planned sudden stop , and see firsthand how your car reacts accordingly.. then next do use this experience to set how you will drive the rest of the day too. And no matter what car, or tires you have, or who is the driver, if you do hit a patch of black ice, due clearly to the failure of others, such as the Governments, municipalities,  to apply salt and gravel on the icy / snowy  road, to falsely try to save money here,  it can be very, very hazardous now too. Give them a fine, ticket, they firstly do deserve it too. Now hypothetical if you do not drive at all you are less likely   to have an   accident, assuming another driver does not hit you while walking..

Stories of the year. Yup, it’s been one crazy, mixed-up 2008. The link between government economic policies and the ever-increasing financial woes of millions of Canadians. Brace yourself for 2009?

ESSENTIAL LESSON: Humility, one would hope. All the mainstream parties lost goodwill in English Canada. The Liberals and the Tories lost the most. They just are not connecting with what real people care about. The pre-Christmas power play was particularly disastrous. Unfortunately, because both Stephen Harper and Michael Ignatieff came out ahead politically, the lesson was likely lost.
