125 birds killed and people next..

Latest news.. they did it again

Alberta — About 125 birds were euthanized after landing on a Syncrude oilsands tailings pond Mc Murray, Alberta  just three days after the energy giant received the highest environmental fine in Alberta history. About 125 of the 200 birds were euthanized after coming in contact with the bitumen, the company said in the statement.

Syncrude Canada now estimates at least 350 birds have died after landing on one of its toxic tailings ponds in northern Alberta.Federal NDP environment critic Linda Duncan, who is also an Alberta MP, said the time has come to shut down the tailings ponds. Mike Hudema of the environmental activist group Greenpeace said the latest incident proves that nothing has changed.

Provincial environment officials are investigating. Premier Ed Stelmach said he’s angry about what happened, but noted an investigation is ongoing. “This is sad and disappointing in light of the conclusion of the court proceedings and the judge’s decision last week,” Stelmach told the legislature. “The regulations are there, and obviously we not only enforce them but we took Syncrude to court with the federal government.” Alberta Environment Minister Rob Renner called the incident “discouraging in the extreme.” “I cannot express how disappointed and frustrated I am that this incident occurred,” Renner told reporters at the legislature. “Albertans deserve answers to why this happened again and we will do everything we can to get those answers as quickly as we can.”

Syncrude was sentenced on Friday for failing to take reasonable action to prevent the deaths of more than 1,600 ducks at a toxic tailings pond more than two years ago. The company was fined a $3 million — a penalty some environmental advocates contended was too low.The 2008 tailings pond duck deaths garnered international headlines and served as a rallying call for environmental groups and politicians who are pushing the Alberta government to phase-out toxic waste water ponds. PROFESSIONALS.. WHAT A JOKE.. Lazy, indifferent, Incompetent is more likley

Attention Quebec, Ministère de la Santé et des Services sociaux

Merely tell anyone that now you are writing continually to the health ministers, news media, internet about the medical services you are getting and your services will improve immediately, dramatically cause clearly 50 percent of the professionals are pretentious, self centered persons who STILL BASICALLY CARE ONLY ABOUT THE MONEY AND do not care about helping others with their pain, sicknesses even in convalescent homes, hospitals .. It should not be that way.
.
It is well known that Quebec’s health care system already has long been considered quite poorly staffed. Quebec has no GPs, or real triage nurses, it has disgusting waiting lists for diagnosis and/or treatment of life-threatening illnesses, falsely refuses some costly treatments, while the hospitals all over the province are in shambles.  Both the French and English speaking Montreal hospitals are undeniably  too often pretentious, inadequate and mismanaged still too, all as simple as that too.  Self regulation by doctors is just more unacceptable masturbation too..

Medicare in Canada, Quebec is too often a joke.. Pretentious..  One any day at the Hospital, 1/3 of the employees actual  time  is on lunch, supper, coffee, rest breaks. A hospital is not a place for employees to have a good time, to socialize on the job with their friends, and to  visit the other medical staff.
Doctors even often make false assumptions about the patient’s sickness that are not scientifically based, iit is just their own personal opinions and it explain why you can see 5 doctors and receive 5 different diagnosis too often now too.
Nurses themselves often to me they do admit they do not read in detail even the  patient’s charts, files nor do they follow all the medical prescription schedules as well, cause they are too busy to do so ..
Nursing Managers and Ombudsman tend to be a pretentious service. I had told one nursing manager to stop playing around and get back to work and she said she was going to file a grievance report against me, I rightfully repeated my request to her.. stop playing and get back to work. This was in Canada’s worst Hospital, the Verdun Hospital  in Montreal.
It is not my duty is a common excuse why things now also are not being done.. Very sick Patients diapers are changed when the staff feel like it too often.

I too have witnessed, detailed many times on the net too that here in Montreal’s English speaking Hospitals or in the French speaking ones that there is  too often  the neglect of sick people still, very poor medical services provided  by too many bad and lazy medical professionals, Doctors, Nurses,  and hospital administrators,  ombudsman as well, to the sick patients caused by the Professionals own neglect, failure   to provide adequate  medicine, medical care  and even if it is only to one   senior, one  elderly person,  it is still a criminal act too.
Do note how come the medical services can greatly differ from one Hospital to another now even..

In Quebec it still is   too often a  fake superficial  pretentious poorly managed medical system, where the bad doctors and bad nurses, often ostrich like too,  tend to often run around hurriedly in circle too often just like a chicken with it’s head cut off there , and  the very sick senior patients tend to have to return to the hospital many times to hopefully eventually get their problems looked after and thus unacceptable, undeniably  wasting the hospital’s resources, tax payers money in the process.
This undeniably has been so also now in my father case the last few years now too even at the  Montreal, Lakeshore and Verdun Hospitals.
The bad medical services it all had occurred even cause the medical personal did not take the proper time, effort to do a full decent job the first time.
And why is it still that  a certain kind of medication that has severe negative side effects being given to a sick patient wrongfully as I had discovered by checking the medication on the internet.. .
Note this now and no matter how supposedly great the health care professionals may be involved with your family , your own advocacy for your patient in the Quebec health care environment is still critical.
The supposed fact that “this doctor/nurse deals with these situations all the time, so they know how to handle it much better than I do…” is a myth, as we get often 3rd class doctors, nurses too.
“About a third of patients over age 70 experience hospital delirium, and the consequences can be serious, delaying a patient’s recovery and even leading to placement in a nursing home.”
Recently I was visiting persons on the Verdun hospital cardiac floor, and it is not  uncommon for many cardiac patients to have also diabetes and yet the nurses on duty were neither cardiac or diabetic nurses, and when a heart or diabetes crisis arose  they did not know now to handle it. The patients had to wait till the doctors came around much later especially weekends and evenings.. No wonder this is one of the worst Hospitals in Canada still.

As You are aware Montreal is now divided into poorly managed regional health care regions encompassing a pretentious health care, as the regional Ombudsman  of the Verdun Hospital, Montreal, Quebec, told me today face to face that since adequate medical health care is not a mandatory service, but a public optional services, it explains why many sick persons at these perverse hospital too  have even this year been sent home not properly provided for medically still today. the perverse Verdun Hospital ombudsman she  needs to reared the doctors Hippocratic Oath is as well as the Canada Health l care act too. It is also not an option that she fired replaced  now, it is still mandatory as well.

In comparison to the bad Verdun Hospital the smaller better Montreal LaSalle Angrignon hospital  it rather tries harder, and sends patients elsewhere temporarily to help them as I have detailed now too.
It is still amazing that the Quebec health and social services minister,  especially even my local Lieberal elected member of the Quebec Legislature now too as well, as well  as the Justice Minister and the police too they all  has still to properly act on the matters of the criminal abuse of a senior even to reply adequately, properly to one of one of my many letters to them  and when will they? Do they want more bribes or what?

A very sick and likley dying grumpy old man lying in a hospital bed today in the Montreal Verdun Hospital was asking me what the loud noise in the Hospital hallway was all about, it was the Hospital  ward, working  floor social club having a good time flirting with each other, talking, joking around with each other in fact. No wonder hospital employees tend to be too often so ineffective still.

I asked today the new young nurse on duty looking after 10 patients if she had read each patient’s file and all of their sicknesses details, especially their pills required. She admitted she had not  for likley it would take all her shift just to read that and she would have no time to look after the patients. When you consider that old and sick persons take over a dozen pills each day, and some pills are taken at various times of the day you would admit it is a full time job just distributing the pills never mind carrying out any other nursing duties.

Some of the sickest patients come through the emergency room, triage floor so really how is it even appropriate to have any young, inexperienced nurse merely in training there at all now too?

One thing we all should have known by now in Canada from the bad RCMP was that their  managers were as bad as the bad, lying no good police officers. Sadly this type of scenario is reaped in other police forces, civil and public services, hospitals now as well. Canada the last 50 years had also not even been innovative in the management fields. Statistics Canada has  found that Canada’s police force expenditures grew for the 12th consecutive year, to about $11-billion, or $344 per capita. About 1,800 new officers were added, the third-largest annual jump in the past 30 years. The provinces adding the most new officers were Ontario, Alberta and British Columbia. In a recession too.. No one cares to manage the bad cops or make them work effectively, efficiently still.. so they sock it to the taxpayers again and again..

A new way of better management of Nurses and doctors is definitely needed here  as well.

In Montreal unlike in Toronto the Bus drivers tend not to be held accountable for any personal wrong doings.. this approach  WRONGFULLY TENDS ALSO  to be applied to all of Quebec’s civil and public servants, at the federal, provincial, municipal levels, even the  police, doctors and nurses included. http://postedat.wordpress.com/2010/06/09/the-workers-who-complain-that-many-errors-are-caused-by-the-work-overload/

Jacques Delisle, 75, Ex-Quebec judge charged with murder Accused of killing wife  A former Quebec Court of Appeal judge has been charged with first-degree murder in connection with the death of his wife  Delisle also faces a charge of illegal possession of a weapon.  Delisle was appointed to the Quebec Superior Court in 1983 and elevated to the Quebec Court of Appeal in 1992. He has been a supernumerary judge since May 2000, working on a part-time basis.  Even Judges should not be able to be above the law.” Nor should they be denied due process. “Insane. The people we trust to uphold and champion criminal law.  NEVER trust any one or any group TOTALLY.  At the bottom we are all human and all have faults”.

CANADA IS A LAND OF IDOLS, THERE ARE IDOL WORSHIPPERS EVERYWHERE. Rock stars, Musicians, Professionals – pastors, police, lawyers, engineers, accountants, doctors, nurses, etc., who now are often worshipped, bowed down to.

Capital Health uncovers $170K ‘discrepancy’ CBC –   Nova Scotia’s largest health authority has fired one of its business office employees and called for a police investigation after an internal audit revealed a financial “discrepancy” of nearly $170,000. This is not the first time there have been financial discrepancies in Nova Scotia’s health authorities. In April, a Nova Scotia man pleaded guilty to defrauding three health boards of nearly $400,000. Cary Lee Hollett, 42, will return to court July 21 to be sentenced in that case.

Canada not only has a two tiered Medicare system that favours one group of citizens over the other too often but it also has a two tired justice system that favours one group of citizens over the other too. These preferred, privileged groups are allowed to have their own self regulating bodies, standards enforcements,  all meaning the covering up bodies that tend to dispense token, pretentious justice now too, a fact we often have illustrated by the police, RCMP, doctors and Nurses now too. Sad isn’t it in  a supposedly progressive, liberal,  democratic nation.

As you and your love ones tend to grow older, you tend to have more involvement, with doctors, nurses, hospitals, emergency wards, old age homes and convalescent homes as well. I do have a personal great respect for competent, qualified doctors, and we cannot exist without them. Not all of them are competent clearly now too as many of us do know and explains why we often get a second medical opinion, diagnosis. The same fact is true with nurses.

It is undeniable that I have too often this ear seen new immigrants who cannot speak French being abused by French only speaking Quebec nurses. Specifically on the evening  of June 30, 2010  at 4:30 pm on the 7th floor of Montreal Manoir Verdun, a very elderly clearly distraught oriental person  in my presence was complaining to the on duty Nurse in English that his night pajama’s were missing. This senior evening nurse on duty next laughed at  him and then replied she could not speak English so she could not understand him and she thus did nothing about it too.

I have often encountered Nurses involved directly in patient care in hospitals, old age homes and  some are really good, rare too, but too many are really bad. I am often surprised how too many Nurses think they are big shots and do often demand more money, a bigger salary for the much too little good they really do too.  Now today I was lied to again by a Nurse.  I was complaining to a senior nurse in the convalescent home that   last night my very ill father did not get a sleeping pill. She said that last Wednesday she had even given him a sleeping pill and he still woke up in the middle of the night. That was a clear lie for last Wednesday my father was not in the nursing home but in the Hospital all last week. I am too often lied to by the both young and older Nurses who seem to have a great need to be shown as always being right, that they have done the  right thing. When you consider most of us even  undeniably do lie every ten minutes, it should be no surprise that too many nurses now are also major liars. Here is what I also  know for sure also that a doctor gives a pain prescription, the nurses  do too often interpret the prescription to suit their own desires, preferences and also the nurse reply to me often that they now cannot  increase the dosage specified but they can and do often now reduce the prescription dosage, even by not giving it to the patient cause it interferes with their personal desire to do the minimum amount of work possible too often too. Nursing standards have certainly been lowered the last few decades and not rather raised. One thing that often disturbs me is doing a time- work study on the acts of a typical nurse supervising a very sick patient, I simply measure how much time in an 8 hour shift do they actually spend time in looking after the good welfare of the patients,, and how much time is spent on personal breaks, coffee, etc., as well.. Sometimes I find it actually impossible to comprehend that the nurses are even being paid for the bad job they have been too often doing.

I AM AN UNBELIEVABLE BELIEVER IN “SEEING IS BELIEVING”, WHAT I WITNESS MYSELF, SEE IS THE REALITY, AND SO IS MY FATHER. WHAT YOU SEE IS WHAT YOU GET,  AND HOW THEY DO TREAT ME IS GENERALLY HOW THEY OFTEN STILL DO TREAT THE OTHERS TOO. What I too often have seen too many selfish, self centered Nurses do still is mostly to put their own desires, goals, such as coffee breaks, laziness, more money  ahead of the patients’ good welfare. Sad. My very senior father has an incurable, painful disease and he needs proper pain management in Hospitals, old age homes and rather often he still does not get it.

I am also even as of recently again  directly surprised as to how little medical knowledge they the Nurses tend to  have,  and how they tend not to be able to do most anything without the doctor  too. I have tried to have a serious discussion on real, important medical issue with too many of them, but have failed for  they tend to be mostly medically and computer  illiterate, and I am no  medical doctor myself, just an ordinary citizen. They do  lack even the most basic medical, health, dietary knowledge, as I often find out too,  and yet they are too willing to challenge doctors, and try to overturn the doctors written prescriptions, diagnosis as well.

In Canada Nurses as well are clearly too often undeniably too mismanaged and  pretentious services and pretentious management is generally the way things are still done: for the last few decades too now. While clearly the patients in Hospitals, nursing homes, tend to be sick often now still even seven days a week, 24 hours a day, the nursing staff clearly as a whole are not adequate 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Now in a typical medical facilities there tends to be at least 3 types of classes of Nurses and related services being  provided. The main day shift of Nurses tend to be the generally the one the best, offering  the best, first class services. But even here there tends to be a mixture of both very high caliber  workers  and also some very bad ones too.  The second shift of after noon and evening shift, services tend to be the one  next composed of second class nurses, those who do generally themselves do offer a less substantial services. And next the late night and weekend nurses tend to be composed mostly of third class nurses, the undeniable worst, poorer Nurses, workers services being offered. The Nursing supervisors themselves tend to place the unwanted, the least desirable nurse for the late night and weekend shifts.

7 medical Questions to Protect Elderly Patients in Hospitals, old age homes

1. Do the nurses and doctors routinely screen for   or identify high-risk repeat  sick patients? Or do they not bother, care to at all still?
2. How does the hospital deal with  the patient’s severe pain if it develops? Replied indifferently by saying it is not their pain, not their concern, not their job, but that of another department’s..
3. What does the hospital really do to keep patients from becoming disoriented? Let’s a junior incompetent nurse deal with it..
4. What policies are in place to make sure patients get adequate sleep? and/or Prescriptions filled.. pretentious ones…
5. If my family member needs a urinary catheter or other bedside interventions, how does the hospital decide when to remove them? When the patient complains or gets an infection?
6. Will the physicians and pharmacy staff review my family member’s medications often to identify medications that increase a negative side effect  risk? Not likely!
7. How effective is the patient’s complaint procedure? Ha ha ha..

Often you’ll hear nothing but gripes and complains about their bosses, their superiors, their parents and the government, nothing about blaming themselves or looking towards constructive solutions to their so called problems

”There’s no downside for the physicians” who order inappropriate psychotropics,  “Physicians aren’t being fined,” “Physicians don’t have any citations against them.” Nurses included now. Compromised Care: Psychotropic drugs given to nursing home patients without cause
Readmission into the hospital after surgery or another procedure is extremely common, costly and time consuming. Since it is one of our main priorities to keep our clients healthy and living at home rather than in the hospital,  article from The New York Times as it provides  great tips for hospital checkout and avoiding readmission. http://www.nytimes.com/2010/06/19/health/19patient.html?_r=1&ref=health

In 2009, The New England Journal of Medicine reported “one in five Medicare patients returns to the hospital within 30 days of being discharged.” Dr. Mark V. Williams, who worked on this study, suggests that part of the issue is due to the fact that doctors place much of their focus on the admission process, when the patient is most sick. When the patient leaves the hospital, they often have more medications and treatments to worry about than when they first entered. Some doctors suggest that this problem may also occur because it may benefit the hospital financially for patients to be readmitted.

California’s nursing disciplinary system is disgraceful. The state currently does not have a standardized method of monitoring suspensions or firings of registered nurses. The major nursing unions in California, opposed a bill for, primarily, a mandatory reporting clause that requires all employers to notify regulators about any  Nurses firings for serious violations, such as gross negligence or physically harming a patient. California’s Board of Registered Nursing recently discovered that 3,500 registered nurses have been disciplined in other states. http://historypro67.wordpress.com/2010/06/28/nurses-gone-wild/

Canadian health care ranks second to last compared with seven industrialized nations, according to a recent report by a private U.S. foundation that monitors and researches international health-care systems. The Commonwealth Fund studied the health-care systems of Canada, the U.S., Australia, Germany, the Netherlands, New Zealand and the U.K., and found that only the American system ranks lower than Canada’s. http://www.canada.com/sports/2010wintergames/Canada+health+care+system+better+only+than+America+Report/3200336/story.html
.
We all in Canada do pay millions and millions, billions of dollars in taxes to our federal, provincial, municipals pretentious governments where too many civil and public servants, politicians in Canada undeniably  seem too readily to abuse them,   cheat, lie, steal , pass the buck and not help us the citizens rather. I do often write, send thousands of letters on justifiable, valid causes to them and I have often not seen one decent reply, acknowledgment, never mind any good actions on them as well from these still mostly pretences, lies and lies . They do the same thing mostly to all other  Canadians now as well and none of that is acceptable still too. But I have seen many of them not reelected because of me or fired.
.
Proper medical care and not pretentious Medicare is still each of our Canadian right. And anyone who denies, fails to deliver it  it needs to be incarcerated! Doctors, nurses, hospital administrators, Premiers, Ministers included.  We pay a significant part of the Doctors, Nurse education, development , Training  and then they falsely try to abuse it to us by their too often undeniable  on the job poor performances and false demands for more money.   The number of doctors practicing   in Quebec is about  16000, and about 58,000 nurses as the statistics shows now we are all naively now  to believe that all of these professionals are saints, perfect and not one medical worker  has killed a patient by accident, neglect, failed to do their job adequately in meeting the sick persons needs? How absurd. When in the last 6 months I myself have often seen Medical doctors disagree many times on the reasons a person was sick, so never mind them even helping him adequately, and I saw  in Quebec the nurses give the wrong medication to patients, due to mistaken identify or error. Canada’s medical regulating bodies, administrators, supervisors, ombudsmen too often wrongfully cover up, hide the mistakes of their own.. Unacceptable http://thenonconformer2.wordpress.com/2010/05/30/a-pretentious-medical-care-system-in-quebec/
 .
More Front line nurses are often wanted mostly for the pretentious CLSC where Quebec spends a lot of resources on pregnant women to build up Quebec’s dwindling population, but now what about the much needed better supervision  of the existing nurses in Quebec firstly?
.
“Quebec must save lives,  MONTREAL – Linda Clifford after watching her husband’s health deteriorate to a critical condition because of incomprehensible delays in the medical system, she has a unique perspective on the issue of whether the funding of costly in vitro fertilizations is the best way to spend tax dollars  when people here are dying left, right and centre,”  people like Clifford are struggling to come to terms with a program that will only add to waiting lists in the province rather than alleviating them. I can no longer sit by and watch my husband die in front of my eyes while waiting for a government-allocated appointment for life-saving surgery,” Clifford said.  “We not only have to fight the cancer, we have to fight the Quebec health system.” Her husband, Wayne Benner, 63, was diagnosed with colon cancer in December 2005. He had surgery followed by chemotherapy. In December 2008, he was told the cancer was back in his liver and had spread to his lungs. He underwent more chemotherapy, but in late January this year he began having liver failure that caused fluid to build up inside him. Now he has to be drained at least once a week, a painful procedure that removes about eight litres of fluid and nine kilograms from Benner each time. The constant procedures have left him with four hernias and much pain as the pressure from the fluid builds up each time. It has also threatened his organs, especially his kidneys. After enduring months of this, Benner was told in April that a special shunt could relieve his pain. He was called for pre-op tests in May. Since then, he has just been waiting and waiting, filled, as he describes it, with fluid, fear and frustration. “I know we have some of the finest doctors and nurses anywhere, but we handcuff them with a government system that isn’t working,” Benner said yesterday. “When I come out of this, I want to be a health advocate because the system doesn’t work.”    http://www.montrealgazette.com/news/montreal/Quebec+must+save+lives+make+them/3279878/story.html
.
Now I have spent the last months watching the too often lying, pretentious, incompetent nurses, doctors  at the LGH or Verdun unable, or mostly unwilling  to fully help my father and others.
.
Speaking of medical half ass jobs, one doctor prescribes medications for my father, another one cancels it, such as the latest   my father’s blood thinner .. and so my father has severe breathing, heart problems till the latest doctor  discovers that his blood thinner was not reinstated..
.
One of the too many false reasons too many patients die in Hospitals is that almost none of the medical staff feel any personal, real, negative repercussions themselves.
.
It is still a criminal act now for any doctor, nurse, hospital administrators, medical supervisor not to provide medical care to any seniors. How many have been prosecuted for this in the last year?

…ever notice that the medical personnel, even COPS of all persons who should know better do still smoke as well… not just pot, or are alcohol impaired

Note this undeniable fact if a police officer takes drugs, is an alcoholic, an adulterer, a liar, he likley also steals, makes false expense account statements, commits tax evasion and definitely makes a bad cop, SUPERVSIOR .

One’s false denial can be an ACTIVE disregard for facts and circumstances or a more subtle expression of ones unreal personal preferences, their fanatsy.
.
In the Montreal   Verdun hospital the patients ward does not have air conditioning but where the nurses work it is air conditioned by room window units. Visit the 3 floor for a great example. A sick elderly patient who is often cold, catches a cold easily too, was in one of these rooms for a blood transfusion and the nurse in charge was asked to temporary close the air conditioning for a few hours, but the selfish, self centered nurse next refused to do so because she would have to work under warm conditions. Whose welfare was more important? The Patient got sicker as a direct result too. How will the clearly pretentious, useless Ombudsman reply here? https://thenonconformer.wordpress.com/2010/05/06/thenonconformer%e2%80%99s-canadian-blog/
.

Not just in Churches, amongst the police, politicians, civil and public servants, I have never seem so many lying, mental people in one place like I have amongst the medical workers I have dealt with this year in  in Hospitals, convalescent, old age homes who really do delude themselves too often about their self importance and the positive role they are functioning in.
.
When a medical professional cannot see what they are doing now is simply  so wrong they themselves do now need real professional help too.

The People who lie often, the  professionals now included, they   tend to have severe personal,  mental disorders next cause one tends to eventually believe next ones lies as being the truth, and they can no no longer differentiate their own lies from reality, the truth.

Narcissistic, selfish, self centered  Mental Disorders too evident now even in many of the so called medical Professionals leads  these persons to  dwell in self-absorption, fantasy, illusion, where she or he has exaggerated claims to talents, importance, or specialness,  manifesting evidence  of a need for constant admiration from others,  a lack of empathy for all others, persistent in this too,  have rigid personality traits and coping styles, clearly  inflexible, do show a  hypersensitivity to any criticism , defeat or  negative realities thus they rather  are pathological in  denial by the their falsity, contrived replacement of the truths which they still must  face eventually .  These SEVERE PERSONALITY disorders are generally personally ongoing too leading to more impaired social and/or occupational functioning and can make it difficult to pinpoint a clear dividing line between their  pathology and their so called normality. Most of these people with their personality disorders may not perceive that there is anything wrong with their behavior and thus they are not motivated to change it. It is important to note that these  personality disorders are considered to have their onset in late adolescence or early adulthood and they alone are responsible for it too.
Denial, it is very very common when many an individual, even amongst so called professionals, even in pastors now included,  are openly confronted with their own wrong doings, that they resort to a false denial. When confronted with the truth the denier they  often respond with a similar personal counter attack remark as   “you are crazy”.  “I reject your reality… and substitute my own.”  Their false denial, diversion, distortion does not change the negative reality about themselves still though.  Sadly it is a negative natural human tendency to devolve into denial.”    It’s not just a moral compass that’s lacking, but the ability to honest, or to stand apart. Denial often comes out of a false pride, a fear of being openly exposed as being wrong. Denial is a false convenient escape, excuse for inaction  for persons now  facing a situation that requires a decision or action that conflicts with his or her established past policy. Denial too often can be  further disastrous upon themselves and others.. for denial is not seeing data at all or seeing it and coming to an erroneous conclusion within oneself. One’s false denial is often based on a false assumption  of one’s past great success and often precedes their own severe personal failure next due to a personal disconnect with real life. Illustrated fully by the story of the Emperor with new clothes.
Denial (also called abnegation) is a defense mechanism postulated by Sigmund Freud, in which a person is faced with a fact that is too uncomfortable to accept and rejects it instead, insisting that it is not true despite what may be overwhelming evidence, a mechanism of the immature mind that conflicts with the ability to learn from and cope with reality. The subject may now deny the reality of the unpleasant fact altogether (simple denial), admit the fact but deny its seriousness (minimization) or admit both the fact and seriousness but deny responsibility (transference). The concept of denial is particularly related to the denial of one’s addiction to alcohol for example, or to one slandering others, abusing them stealing, lying.. their denial or their  minimization of their own wrong doings is the  essential part of what enables them next to to continue his or her behavior in the face of evidence that, to an outsider, that is   overwhelming.   “The American Heart Association cites denial as a principal reason that treatment of a heart attack is delayed. Because the symptoms are so varied, and often have other potential explanations, the opportunity exists for the patient to deny the emergency, often with fatal consequences. It is common for patients to delay mammograms or other tests because of a fear of cancer, even though this is clearly maladaptive.”

Types of Denial include now the Denial of fact: This form of denial is where someone avoids a fact by lying. This lying can take the form of an outright falsehood (commission), leaving out certain details in order to tailor a story (omission), This form of denial involves avoiding personal responsibility by blaming, minimizing or justifying.   Denial of responsibilityDenial of impact: avoiding thinking about or understanding the harms their behavior have caused to themselves or others.  Denial of awareness: they do not admit any previous awareness of the negative reality.  Denial of cycle: Denial of cycle is where a person avoids looking at their decisions leading up to an event or does not consider their pattern of decision making and how harmful behavior is repeated. Denial of denial:  This latter form of denial typically overlaps with all of the other forms of denial, but involves more self-delusion. People in a false denial are really nuts, delusional..

There are tools and practices that we can implement to overcome the psychological trap of denial. Public exposure and prosecution of the guilty is one of the best approach serving everyone’s best interest too. It is a clearly established fact with good basis as to why our Canadian leaders, politicians, police, military, public and civil servants  who are always to be exemplary are even personally are to held to a higher standard, accountability in reality.

People in leadership office do have to face higher penalties as an example now too. It is clearly established, accepted fact by most people that those in leadership civil and public servants cops, teachers, ministers, politicians included  are always to be exemplary in behavior,  conduct and they do need to maintain their high standards even out of their working hours, thus to do so they are also to be exemplary  judged, prosecuted  for their own wrong doings with a higher standard over those of us ordinary folks.

Too many police officers even are now too often guilty of their most serious neglect of public trust and their duty. The related truth is that neither an independent police investigation, a new police commissioner,  a promised provincial or federal investigation, or just more politicians promises too often still   will not bring the much needed justice. All of the governments can prohibit the initial and further employment of any known racists for any jobs, and can  punish them for their racists acts, views. Police managers continue to promise the reforming of bad cops and the bad cops keep killing, abusing  innocent persons. The possible retaining of bad  police officers is always anyway a false myth. What thus is always needed is the real  the dismissal, criminal prosecution, of the guilty cops. So where is it? Speeding is not the main cause of car accidents, impaired driving is, but too many cops are alcoholics it seems who wrongfully do sympathize with drunks and as a result do not arrest drunks all year  https://thenonconformer.wordpress.com/2010/07/20/canadas-police-forces/.

Halifax man says a standard practice of closing operating rooms in the summer is causing unnecessary distress for his wife, who is in constant pain.  Anne Leech needs surgery but her doctor cannot get an operating room booking until mid-August. Her husband, Al Leech, says breaks should be staggered in order to keep operating rooms open year-round.  “The worst part is to watch your wife continually suffer,” he said. “She can’t sleep at night, nothing is correct. Digestive system is affected, the bowel movements everything.” Immoral and absurd Health minister Maureen MacDonald said allowing OR staff to take time off in the summer is a well-established practice that is unlikely to change seriously needs to be ASAP criminal prosecuted since this violates Canada’s health act.. decency too.  People are sick 24 hours every day but pretentious hospitals, doctors want to work 9-5 and  week days only.. get real…

Many persons who are fed up with the APPARENT INADEQUACIES even in the socialized medicine would like us to believe that a private medical system is better… and that is mere wishful thinking.. for even in a private system there are too often the same inadequacies, even for the same reasons, the apparent lack of supervision of medical personnel and services, https://thenonconformer.wordpress.com/2010/08/14/the-great-debate-private-or-socialized-medicare/

Mulroney’s actions ‘inappropriate,’ Oliphant says Globe and Mail –  Former prime minister Brian Mulroney accepted cash-stuffed envelopes from Karlheinz Schreiber “as part of a scheme” to conceal the payments, a commission of inquiry has found. But after spending at least $14-million, listening to 39 days of testimony and reviewing 150,000 pages of evidence, the Oliphant inquiry couldn’t say what he did to earn it.In a sometimes scathing examination of Mr. Mulroney’s acceptance of at least $225,000 in cash from the German-born, and now incarcerated, lobbyist, Mr. Justice Jeffrey Oliphant, the inquiry’s chair, repeatedly called Mr. Mulroney’s actions “inappropriate.”

Competition Bureau seeks to smash ‘anti-competitive’ CREA rules on MLS

Real Estate and Homes for Sale   . Search for Homes.  What is my home worth? How much can I afford?   Top Property models, Types. Top home locations. https://thenonconformer.wordpress.com/2009/03/17/common-sales-lies-canadian-real-estate-market-blossoms-misleading/

One day in 2002, a self-professed computer nerd named Glenn Kelman scratched his head. Why was it, he wondered, that he could get more information about a $20 book for sale at Amazon.com than he could for a $500,000 home listed on the national Multiple Listing Service? http://www.theglobeandmail.com/report-on-business/the-battle-to-unlock-the-housing-market/article1450088/

The federal Competition Bureau says it will challenge the restrictive rules that govern the multiple listing service (MLS) system used by most Canadian home sellers to list their properties.
http://www.theglobeandmail.com/report-on-business/competition-bureau-seeks-to-smash-anti-competitive-crea-rules-on-mls/article1460083/

The Competition Bureau is asking the Competition Tribunal to strike down rules imposed by the association on people wanting to use the MLS system, which require them to use additional services they might not want.  Melanie Aitken, the competition commissioner, said that if the rules were struck down, “there will be downward pressure on real estate fees in Canada.” The Competition Bureau said that, under the Canadian Real Estate Association’s rules, agents are not allowed to offer consumers the option of paying them to just list a home on the MLS system.  Instead, they must buy a pre-determined set of additional services, such as the presentation of offers and the negotiation of a final deal, the bureau said.  “The bureau is focused on striking down these anti-competitive rules, so that real estate agents wishing to offer innovative services can do so, and consumers can benefit from greater choice,” Aitken said in a statement.

I had worked for AE LePage Realtors and shortly had quit when I had found out about their much too common scams, false, immoral, restrictive trade practises they are involved in.

1: They tend to consciously encourage new persons to join the firms and systematically lay them off.. they use the new employees for new real estate sales contacts, and local managers tend to pass on all the sale inquires to established existing sales personnel and the rookies get no financial benefit from their own hard work, input..

2: On their weekly homes for sale open homes visits by the staff, they only visit their own listings and discourage sales at any of the competitors listings.. they try to encourage their staff to only buy and sell their own listings. Hoping to double the commissions earnings.

3 And they also often clearly do lie to  their customers about the actual type of sales presentations they will do for them too. Newspaper ads are the most effective approach but they are too cheap to pay for too many of them..

The future of real estate is mobile. So, get off your desktops and get out there. By 2013, the mobile web will be bigger than the desktop web and that’s where all the information will be streaming in? Many Realtors today fear their replacement is just one computer click away, since 30 percent of persons will use their computer first to do a likley home search,  and new players like Google, RPR and the mobile platform are about to rock the sales boat, but some people still do prefer a personal touch by a supposedly professional realtor especially from Re/Max..

Now a home should be generally a good investment, and when you buy a home you should make sure that you have not overpaid for the home, or bought a poor investment, even one that will not appreciate much in value next.

Home Price Indices (Atlanta, Boston, Charlotte, Chicago, Cleveland, Dallas) http://www.data360.org/graph_group.aspx?Graph_Group_Id=1208

When you are buying a home you need to know what makes it a good value, a good buy

1 The area the home is located in: including the proximity to high schools, public schools, hospitals, churches, shopping centers, metro

2: The specific home model: some homes are more popular over others and have a higher resale values.. the most popular ones are Bungalows, two stories, split levels with at least 3 bedrooms, a two car garage and finished family room, fireplace..

When you are trying to sell a home remember most realtors do not sell, or advertise your home, they hope someone else does, they merely take a listing from you and tend not to do you much good.. it does not costs anything more but always ask a local Real estate manager such as Re/Max to give you the name of his or her  two    best selling Realtors.. and hire the send best one who will work hard now, Insure that in writing he or she guarantees to advertise regularly your home in a local newspaper for that is likely where it will attract the best buyers too.

Much of the money earmarked for tsunami relief even never made its way to victims

Many persons have expressed to me that they do not know who to trust or whom to give to now to help the poor and needy, etc., Major and minor Relief, non profitable  religious organizations as well, rather corporations tend to provide very little actual verifiable details to the donors  on how the donations are being spend, and actual spending are covered up, hidden, diverted  as well..

Following the Asian tsunami of 2004, many donors were surprised to learn some larger aid groups couldn’t spend all the money it had raised, while smaller ones struggled to fund their projects. Much of the money earmarked for tsunami relief never made its way to victims of the disaster and was used for other projects instead.  http://ca.news.yahoo.com/s/capress/100207/national/cda_haiti_aid
The Danish publication Ekstrabladet puts the total amount of money raised worldwide at approximately 75 billion kroner, the equivalent of 14.5 billion dollars. How then, is it possible that hundreds of tsunami victims are still homeless 5 years later?

Aid money “disappeared”  In an interview with the Ekstrabladet today, the director of the Sri Lankan arm of Transparency International, Rukshana Nanayakkara says approximately $968,000,000 has “disappeared“.

VANCOUVER, B.C. – Anti-Olympics activists are looking for answers after they say a freelance journalist was refused entry to Canada.  The Olympic Resistance Network says Martin Macias Jr., was detained by Canadian officials at Vancouver’s airport Saturday morning and questioned for several hours.  Activist Chris Shaw says the U.S. Consulate told them Macias was eventually denied entry and put on a plane for Seattle.  Shaw says he believed Macias was deported because he is a known anti-Olympic activist in his home town of Chicago.  A spokeswoman for Canada Border Services Agency wouldn’t discuss the specific case because of privacy issues.  Pennie Libby says Canada’s admissibility requirements will not change for the 2010 Olympic and Paralympic games.  Macias led a group that opposed that city’s bid for the 2016 Summer Olympics.  The Olympic Resistance Network says Macias was travelling to Vancouver for political events, including a two-day conference, and was to leave Vancouver Feb. 11, before the start of the games.  It says he was travelling with Bob Quellos of No Games Chicago, who it says was allowed to enter Canada.  Libby said in an email, that admissibility to Canada is considered on a case-by-case basis on facts presented by the applicant at the time of entry.  http://ca.news.yahoo.com/s/capress/100207/national/oly_activist_1

When Vancouver won the right to host the 2010 Winter Games, the Canadian government and corporate sponsors poured $110 million into “Own the Podium” (OTP), an ambitious program with the objective of putting Canada top of the Vancouver medal table.  Poverty activists say homelessness in Vancouver has increased 373 percent since 2002 when the city bid for the Games. Robert Bonner is not impressed that Vancouver is hosting the Winter Olympics and thinks the millions of dollars spent on the event would have better gone on alleviating problems like poverty and homelessness. “Spending C$178 million ($166 million) for a skating oval isn’t really impressive when you’re sleeping in a doorway,” Bonner told the “Poverty Olympics,” a colorful protest on Sunday to highlight Vancouver’s social problems. Vancouver, on Canada’s Pacific coast, has been ranked in surveys as one of the world’s most “livable” cities but it is also home to one of Canada’s poorest and most drug-infested neighborhoods — the Downtown Eastside. Sign-holding marchers chanted “Homes not Games” and other slogans as they made their way through the neighborhood to the rhythm of a small ragtag marching band and costumed mascots such as “Itchy the Bedbug” and “Chewy the Rat.” http://ca.news.yahoo.com/s/reuters/100208/canada/canada_us_olympics_poverty

“Our investigations show that this amount is the difference between how much money came in after the tsunami, and what was used on emergency aid and rebuilding the affected areas”.

Nanayakkara also said he believes a lot of the aid money is unaccounted for as a direct or indirect result of corruption, fraud and bribery.

Former president of Doctors Without Borders international committee Morten Rostrup, on the other hand, in the same article, said that even the money that was used to help the tsunami’s victims was grossly misused.

“Many aid organisations sent personnel and equipment, but many projects were based on the organizations’ need to profile themselves, rather than on what the victims needed”, he told Ekstrabladet. “A lot of the money that was given with good intentions went to something the victims did not need. A lot of mobile hospitals, for example, were flown into Banda Aceh but were never used. Meanwhile, it took a month for basic needs like water and sanitary facilities to be put in place

The lying Conservative spin doctors and Conservative Stephen Harper

EVANGELICAL Stephen Harper at Bohemian Grove?, ex-leader visited shadowy GOP summer camp. For those who don’t know, the Bohemian Grove is an annual event in California that the Washington Post described in a 2011 article as “two weeks of heavy-drinking, super-secret talks, druid worship and other rituals” by some of the richest and most powerful men in the world. Now, Harper is free to do what he likes. But keep this in mind: He was attending an event sponsored by a group that refuses to admit women.
.

Conservatives and PM Stephen Harper falsely encourage dinking alcohol
https://thenonconformer.wordpress.com/2009/09/02/drink-alcohol-and-die/

DON’T BE STUPID AND BELIEVE ALL THE LYING SPINS AS TO WHY IT TAKES SO LONG TO INVESTIGATE THE BAD COPS or bad professionals, bad civil and public servants..Montreal city hall for example has been filled with corruptions, tax evasions  the last 50 years and even though the police station is acrooss the street too few croooks have been aressted and why is that.. the past Quebec and even Conservative federal governments have wrongfullybeen to soft on white collared crime as well.. much too many alocholics there too.. I too have had many experiences in laying simple complaints against bad cops, bad professionals, bad civil and public servants  that never got anywhere cause the investigators were clearly pretenders.. in Contrast the investigations of all citizens clearly would not take so long.. https://thenonconformer.wordpress.com/2010/11/04/cnadian-governments-ignorance/

Now  close to 65% of the country had  voted for political parties other then Conservatives and that they now also should have some serious say in the workings of the federal government.

Canada’s  Prime Minister Stephen Harper legitimately  cannot  exercise  his sole prerogative to tie Canada’s foreign policy because he does not have a majority, he does not have 51 percent of the MPs,  but has only a minority government still, and thus he needs approval of the opposition parties thus too here.

Canada’s federal  Conservatives are clearly  immoral, cruel, despotic, ruthless, aggressive in demonstrating their solidarity to their leader and towards all opposition members. Prime Minister Stephen Harper has also been  attempting to force a partisan agenda on governmental agencies meant to be independent and non-partisan. “It’s an attempt to pack the board with individuals who carry the same biases as the Prime Minister’s Office,” Warren Allmand,  former Liberal MP
Every prime minister since Confederation has supposedly followed a pattern  of putting like-minded party friends into influential patronage positions PM Stephen Harper now included
The lying Conservative spin doctors and Conservative Stephen Harper do now like to portray Harper as a decent, honorable, stable, good leader or whatever now we all can know that is far from the truth, not even close to any reality. Especially firstly since Harper had promised that he and his party now would act different, more positive than all of the other parties, and yet he clearly had lied, broke his promises, appointed friends into offices  just like the others.

PM Minister Stephen Harper had also “reneged on the 2006 campaign commitment to make merit, not connections, the decisive factor in some 3,000 federal appointments to agencies, boards and commissions.” This Prime Minister, with a clearly hidden agenda as we can all see now,  also  likes to have new members on various governmental boards who hold are obedient to him and similar  strong ideological and religious views to his own as well.

Now we can often read the perverse Conservative spin doctors attempt to cover of Harper’s immoral acts , try to deny it, and simply now  just look for it..

OTTAWA – The Prime Minister’s Office says political aides should not interfere with the decisions public servants make when deciding what documents to release under access to information laws.  Spokesman Dimitri Soudas would not comment directly on a case in which a top political aide to the Public Works minister overruled bureaucrats and forbid the release of a sensitive report to The Canadian Press.  But Soudas said political staff should respect the decisions made by department officials doing their jobs.  He declined to say whether there would be repercussions for the aide to Christian Paradis, who was transferred with his minister to Natural Resources last month.  A spokesman for a British Columbia-based freedom of information association called the interference “outrageous” and said the aide may be liable to prosecution under the Access to Information Act.  The report at the centre of the controversy outlined details of Public Works’ real estate portfolio. http://ca.news.yahoo.com/s/capress/100208/national/government_interference

A federal cabinet minister’s aide killed the release of a sensitive report requested under freedom-of-information in a case eerily similar to a notorious incident in the sponsorship scandal.  A bureaucrat had to make a mad dash to the department’s mailroom last July to retrieve the report at the last minute under orders from a senior aide to then-Public Works minister Christian Paradis.  The order was issued by Sebastien Togneri, Paradis’ parliamentary affairs director, in a terse email after he had been told the file was already on its way to The Canadian Press, which had requested it.  “Well unrelease it,” Togneri said in a July 27 email to a senior official in the department’s Access to Information section.  “What’s the point of asking for my opinion if you’re just going to release it!”  The document was an annual report on Public Works’ massive real-estate portfolio, which contained factual information on high vacancy rates and weak returns on investment. Such reports had never been made public before.  The department’s real-estate branch had consented to the full release, and the Access to Information office at Public Works had determined after extensive consultation that there was no legal basis to withhold any of the report.  The file, though, was deemed “sensitive” – partly because it was a media request – and was sent to the Conservative minister’s office for review. The office initially gave the green light, but had a change of heart on the very day it was being mailed out.  Togneri insisted that only one small section of the report be released, despite the uniform view among Access to Information officials that the entire 137-page document could not be withheld under the legislation.  The matter was eventually brought to the attention of the department’s director-general, Sylvia Seguin-Brant, who wrote a memorandum arguing that despite objections from the minister’s office, the entire report should indeed be released.  “The decision has been made in a fair, reasonable and impartial manner with respect to the processing of this request,” she wrote, referring to the bureaucrats’ handling of the file.  The decision to release the entire document was made after consulting with Justice Department lawyers.  In the end, though, the department released only a heavily censored version just as Togneri had insisted – 82 days later than allowed under the law. The final release included just 30 pages.  Internal documents showing how Public Works handled the file were released to The Canadian Press under the Access to Information Act.  The incident is reminiscent of another Public Works report, on the sponsorship scandal, requested by a Globe and Mail reporter a decade ago.  The Gomery Commission into the scandal determined in 2004 that the minister’s office tried to interfere with the release of the report. In that case, the senior public servant in charge of Access to Information, Anita Lloyd, decided the move was unethical and illegal.  After consulting her personal lawyer three times, Lloyd refused to sign off on the file.  When her resistance became widely known, she was hailed as a hero for standing up to her political masters, when the department was headed by then Liberal minister Alfonso Gagliano.  The latest incident is a rare glimpse into the murky world of so-called “amber-lighted” or “red-flagged” Access to Information requests, terms applied to files the government deems politically sensitive and which are subject to close review by a minister’s political staff. Paradis was shuffled last month to the Natural Resources portfolio, taking Togneri with him as his director of parliamentary affairs. Togneri did not respond to requests for comment.  Paradis’ current communications director said Togneri’s intervention was to suggest the Access to Information section offer fewer pages to the requester without charge rather than the entire 137 pages for a fee of $27.40, which had already been paid.  “He went through and thought that a huge section of a very big report wasn’t relevant and that you should be given the option of paying to get it or get the (smaller) chapter” without charge, Margaux Stastny said in an interview.  “No one can overrule Access officers.”  The options were never provided to the requester, however. Instead, the department simply sent the censored report and refunded the fee.  Stastny said she could not explain why Togneri’s intervention caused Public Works to miss its legislated deadline by 82 days. “There should not have been a significant delay.”  The Canadian Press complained last October about the apparent political interference at Public Works to the information commissioner of Canada. The complaint was fast-tracked last week when the office determined the file raises significant issues related to the accountability of government, said spokeswoman Sandra George.  A lawyer specializing in the Access to Information Act called the case “troubling,” saying it was unprecedented.  “This is a manifestation of political interference with the administrative processes,” Michel Drapeau said in an interview.  “I’ve never in my career seen a minister basically do or tell a bureaucrat how to do his job and how to apply the law.”  Seguin-Brant’s memo on whether to release the entire document did consider whether The Canadian Press might be persuaded to accept a partial release if fees were waived.  But there were dangers, she said.  “Since he is from the media, he would likely want to know why he cannot get the entire record and what it contains before agreeing to receive the relevant section only,” she wrote.  “Nothing can stop the requester from obtaining access to the document. He may perceive this as though the department is not being open and transparent, and is trying to withhold information that can be disclosed.”  After receiving the censored report and complaining to the information commissioner, The Canadian Press requested and received the remainder of the report.  The full report showed, among other things, that Public Works’ repair and maintenance costs for its building portfolio is much higher than in the private sector, as are vacancy rates.  The document showed that the average vacancy rate in Public Works-managed real estate was 5.1 per cent, far above its internal target of 3.5 per cent.  http://ca.news.yahoo.com/s/capress/100207/national/government_interference_1

The pattern is set: someone says something critical about the policies of Prime Minister Stephen Harper and his government and the Conservative mud-slinging machine goes into attack mode. On the receiving end have been Liberal Leader Michael Ignatieff (“unCanadian”), NDP Leader Jack Layton (“Taliban Jack”), Ontario Premier Dalton McGuinty (“the small man of Confederation”), whistle-blowing diplomat Richard Colvin (“hearsay”), and any critics of Israeli policies (“anti-Semites”). Now added to the list is Ed Clark, CEO of TD Bank and one of Canada’s pre-eminent business leaders. As reported yesterday by the Star’s Susan Delacourt and Les Whittington, Clark had the temerity to suggest in a speech last week that the federal government will have to consider raising taxes in order to slay the deficit dragon. That transgression against Harper orthodoxy earned Clark an email blast from the Conservatives noting that he delivered the speech in “sunny Florida” (yes, because he was attending a conference there); that he made $11 million last year and, therefore, can afford to pay more in taxes; and that he is “Michael Ignatieff’s Bay Street buddy” and a member of the Liberal leader’s “economic braintrust.” This last volley is apparently based on a news report that Clark and other thinkers attended a private dinner with Ignatieff last year to discuss the economy. Big deal. Harper himself has held private meetings with business leaders in recent weeks to discuss the economy. That’s what political leaders are supposed to do: reach out for ideas. Clark was discussing policy – and saying something that a lot of other intelligent Canadians have said. The Conservatives’ ad hominem response to his policy critique is something that might be expected from a college newspaper, but not from the ruling party of the day. http://www.thestar.com/opinion/editorials/article/764206–harper-s-attack-dogs

OTTAWA – Opposition parties say Prime Minister Stephen Harper’s office has gone too far with hyper-partisan attacks, and it’s time to apologize and play fair. Liberal Leader Michael Ignatieff demanded Thursday that Harper say sorry for a Conservative party email circulated by the Prime Minister’s Office that depicted one of the country’s top bankers as a shill for the Liberal party. And the NDP called on Harper to rein in his main spokesman, Dimitri Soudas, whom it accused of making “reckless and conspiratorial partisan smears.”

.

Jack Layton of the New Democratic Party (NDP) is now the best-ranked federal party leader in Canada, according to a poll by Angus Reid Public Opinion. 29 per cent of respondents approve of Layton’s performance.  The approval rating for Canadian prime minister and Conservative Party leader Stephen Harper stands at 26 per cent. 15 per cent of respondents approve of the way Liberal and Official Opposition leader Michael Ignatieff is handling his duties.

Our politicians file “excessive and unreasonable” claims Canada wide now too?

“No one is above the law. No one can spend public money without accountability,”  First major casualty of the NS spending scandal. A member of the Nova Scotia legislature  Richard Hurlburt who became a central figure in a spending allowance scandal has resigned his seat for the riding of Yarmouth on Tuesday.   Richard Hurlburt  served the province,  the people of Yarmouth  over the past 10 years.

HALIFAX, N.S. – Clearly now Very Likely Guilty of wrong doings themselves the Leaders of Nova Scotia’s opposition parties, including the Conservatives  say it’s not their duty to identify members of their caucus whose expenses were deemed inappropriate or excessive by the province’s auditor general. http://ca.news.yahoo.com/s/capress/100204/national/ns_spending_scandal

Look it is very clear to most Canadians that crooked Politicians  should be forced to resign and face criminal charges, as well as returning the stolen, abused tax payer’s money.. a hypocritical excuse, apology, returning the money is not at all enough, satisfactory. In the private sector they would have been fired at least.   https://thenonconformer.wordpress.com/2010/11/12/i-am-amazed-how-many-readers-do-read-the-very-same-articles-i-feel-continually-so-strongly-about/

Nova Scotia’s auditor general slammed the province’s expense system Wednesday and said  some politicians had filed “excessive and unreasonable” claims, in part because of inadequate spending controls. Nova Scotia MLAs are entitled to spend $45,000 a year in payments that require no receipts. Some examples of excessive spending include $13,445 for custom-made office furniture, $2,499 for a television and $738 for an espresso coffee machine. Nova Scotia Liberal Premier Darrell Dexter  was among those singled out by Lapointe for his spending practices. The office of Premier Darrell Dexter spent   $2,150   on a digital camera and $5,501 for two laptops also items that Lapointe only now had agreed, said were excessive. Natural Resources Minister John MacDonell,  agreed with the report’s conclusion that spending over $13,000 on custom-made office furniture was excessive. He said he had paid back the money for the furniture.  MacDonell also spent $2,600 on an office printer had purchased the “Cadillac of printers.”  Certainly is guilty of incompetence and mismanagement now too in other areas. And they for sure even would have not admitted, revealed their mismanagement, crimes if the report had not come out.  Nova Scotia’s deputy premier Frank Corbett  speaking out as a legislative member and not on behalf of the government said   he is sorry for inappropriate and excessive spending, wasting the taxpayer’s money, by other politicians flagged in a report by the provincial auditor general  while the rest of Nova Scotia’s public is being asked to do “hard things” as the province struggles with a $525-million deficit.  “It’s one of those things that whenever tax dollars’ money is not used wisely” but absurdly even.

HALIFAX, N.S. – Richard Hurlburt a Conservative member of the Nova Scotia legislature who apologized last week for spending nearly $8,000 on a generator also charged taxpayers over $3,000 for the purchase and installation of a television.  No such thing as a little bit pregnant here too. http://ca.news.yahoo.com/s/capress/100208/national/ns_spending_scandal

N.S. deputy premier apology to taxpayers for excessive spending by it’s piggish members  is meaningless and so was the auditor general’s report.. The immoral and stupid auditor general Jacques Lapointe said he  he found no criminal wrongdoing was focusing on the need for better rules and accounting procedures. How stupid does he think all of the people now still are. Abuse of tax payer’s money is still theft, and theft is always  criminal offence!

And where else has the Premier and the rest of them now  gone overboard with the abuse of the tax payer’s money spending now as well? He clearly needs to be closely watched, better monitored as well.. It seems they all need to be better controlled, serioulsy monitored now!

And where are the RCMP, too often still, useless  bad cops when you need them here too?

Two tier Justice.  Imagine that NS  MLAs are entitled to spend $45,000 a year,  tax free income too, in payments that require no receipts while the average Joe Blow is late on his phone bill payment,  tax payment, traffic ticket  is financially penalized immediately or even jailed quickly..

Clearly all of this is just part of the unacceptable tip of the iceberg revelations, corruptions.  https://thenonconformer.wordpress.com/2010/01/06/amen-to-that-a-politician-jailed/

Do  consider  the odds of the bad, crooked, politicians being exposed or stopped by the others who seem to also do it often now too,  so it very obvious to most people that when you do read or hear about it in the news it is very  likely also only the tip of the iceberg..

NB justice minister resigns over privacy issue CBC.ca  Justice Minsiter Bernard LeBlanc resigned Thursday after being accused of violating the privacy rights of a Fredericton-area woman. There have in the last few months been too many other NB cabinet Minister’s resignations now as well.. LeBlanc is the fourth minister to step down in the last seven months.  Former justice minister Michael Murphy and former environment minister T.J. Burke have also left the Liberal cabinet.

Liberals defend handling of N.B. bridge contract  CBC – Thu Feb 4, 7:05 AM   A Quebec-based consortium a joint venture between Frank Catania Construction and Structal-Bridges told CBC News last week that it was unfairly disqualified in the bidding even though its bid was the lowest and was unconditional.  The Department of Transportation is again defending how it handled a contract for renovations to Fredericton’s Princess Margaret Bridge.  Progressive Conservative MLA Claude Williams demanded why Britt Dysart, the president of the New Brunswick Liberal party, was working as the government’s lawyer in the bidding process. I am concerned, as New Brunswickers should be, because there were no lawyers from the Department of Justice at that meeting. That is strange

B.C. Liberal government accused of secrecy and stonewalling  CBC – Thu Feb 4, 6:29 AM VANCOUVER (CBC) – Critics are airing complaints of provincial government secrecy and stonewalling at hearings this week looking into B.C.’s Freedom of Information Act. “I want to speak to you about a culture of secrecy and a culture of denial,” anti-abortion activist Ted Gerk said at the hearing Wednesday. Despite repeated attempts, he could not get information about the number of abortions performed in B.C. hospitals, Gerk said.

“When the Queen of the North Ferry sunk, the families of the two who went down with the ship couldn’t sue because BC ferries is sponsored by the govt (but keeps all the profit). The two citizens couldn’t afford to sue because they would have to pay for everything (at least until the case was over). They would of had to pay for witnesses, lawyers, etc. Meanwhile BC ferries has all fees paid for by taxpayers (including the two who should have sued).  Funny how a corporation has all the same rights as a human being, but does not have to follow the same moral and ethical obligations the rest of us do. ” If you are in the “right”, the party at “fault” should be responsible for your costs. The way things are now, companies and associations and governments can easily win in court by “outlasting” the other person by delaying and appealing till the person runs out of money… Just goes to show that our “rights” only go so far as our bank accounts can pay for them. Makes sense, deny a man his civil rights and then make him pay to reclaim them. Clearly ‘supreme’ is not making reference to the court’s intelligence.
Canadian Citizens are facing Police fines for using their phones while driving while Bus drivers often drive a bus and talk on the Phone in Montreal, Quebec and elsewhere. I saw one yesterday even doing a crossword puzzle while driving passengers . Montreal west island Bus Route 202

Fire all the expense account abusers. Jesus himself now how said that if a person  cannot manage effectively a small amount of money then how can they even next be really trusted with any large amounts. So when they abuse their expense accounts they show to all they need to be fired, dismissed, removed from the job for they are clearly very incompetent at any money management now still too.

Cop already convicted of assault faces new allegation

Veteran Victoria policeman who is brother of MLA Ida Chong suspended with pay while being investigated over assault of prisoner, the same Cop already convicted of assault faces new on the job allegation should have been terminated, fired the first time firstly..  Last March, Sgt. Chong received a written reprimand from Victoria police after he pleaded guilty to assaulting Randy Kerr, a pedestrian. The court gave Sgt. Chong a conditional discharge and nine months probation and ordered him to undergo anger management counseling. What is this  with the cops when cops do something they wrong, they get suspended.. WITH pay? “its bloody ridiculous, its like there getting a vacation for failing to be the one we should trust for public safety. pretty ridiculous if you ask me.”  Bad Cops should be exemplarily prosecuted now and immediately jailed as well.. Unlawful use of authority, obstruction of justice, home visits, bullying, false intimidations   by the politician’s watch dogs is nothing new to me as well…

We  also do still need real civilian oversight – distinct from our police officers (not retirees) that has the power to punish criminal activities within all of our forces. Police investigating Police leads to lies, cover-ups and an enormous amount of public concern

.

“If I don’t see jail time for that “cop” I have no belief in Canadian justice, or the police…  Anyone else charged with assault would be arrested and detained to appear for a bail hearing. They would also most likely lose their job, whatever it is. It is truly disturbing that a police officer does not seem to be treated the same way when it comes to committing an obvious crime.  Surprise , surprise another dirty cop in our country, how shocking. I would be surprised if their are any good ones or if their are dont they know that silence in the face of evil is consent. Better speak up if you exist cause this is getting ridiculous, cant turn on a radio or tv without hearing about more dirty police, Harper have you left this country or are you afraid to brace those maniacs. Someone needs to but guess it wont be the conservative govt, they are all for law and order , just their brand tho guilty if the cops say so”
 .
I AM ALSO RIGHTFULLY FULLY CONVINCED THAT IF JESUS HIMSELF TODAY  WAS TO COME TO SOME OF THESE SAME PLACES THAT I GO TO HE WOULD COME WITH A WHIP AND NEXT BEAT THEM.

 .
In reality the too often self serving, money hungry, promotional and empire oriented police, and their superiors, bad justice ministers, bad politicians really do not care about the citizens good welfare but only their ownNow even since I was about 8 years old I had learned that the Cops were not to be trusted, when my neighbor was a cop,  and I saw firsthand what he was really like.. and decades later that has still been true as well in my unwanted police encounters, RCMP included now … but rightfully now I don’t even trust the pastors, lawyers, realtors, accountants as well.. It has always confounded me as to why the crooks, abusers too often do still do think they can get away with now, next and forever. Unlawful use of authority, obstruction of justice, home visits, bullying, false intimidations by the politician’s watch dogs, the cops is nothing new to me and I still rightfully have been often bluntly truthful , even that while 70 percent of the citizens are average good people, 30 percent are liars, thugs, criminals and you can find them at work, school, hospitals, real estate, police stations, politics, churches too, and these bad people they do belong in jail, jail is what they deserve.
 ..
I myself have often been threatened by lawsuits from clearly bad or crooked bad Corporations like Bell, Royal LePage, and falsely intimated by even bad cops, RCMP, and even politically biased news editors, as well as bad church pastors…

A real stupid move a Liberalized divorce solution still it only seems like a cheap solution

besides the fact spouses of divorce and their children tend next to have more costly too health problems… many divorce women and their children end up on social aid too..

How many of you do now know that Politicians, not just many people, can be realy stupid, they can offer stupid advice in reality.. such as go on with your life..

Well the so called cold, indifferent experts now say have an easy  divorce and just move on.. but the too often grim reality in the news  is not so.. for when one spouse unexpectedly files for divorce the other one often can get violent, as well as the spouse who does not like the future as she sees it.. and next the damage done before anyone can deal with it .. a more  easy divorce will not help here.

EDMONTON – Autopsies have confirmed that two young boys found dead in their Millet home were slain, RCMP said  in the double-homicide that has rocked the small town about 50 km south of Edmonton.  The boys’ father, Curtis McConnell, had found them apparently drowned in the bathtub shortly after 3 p.m. Monday.  The 31-year-old dad was estranged from his wife, Allyson McConnell, also 31. She’s recovering in hospital from an apparent suicide attempt around 2:30 p.m. Monday in south Edmonton.  Allyson had suffered broken bones after jumping from the Gateway Boulevard overpass onto the eastbound lanes of Whitemud Drive. The parents were going through a bitter divorce that revolved around custody of their boys. Allyson wanted to take the kids to her native Australia to live likely with her parents, while Curtis was against the idea, according to court documents.  “The questions go through your head. How do we move on? Why did it happen? Why now? Nothing can undo what has happened.  .”  McConnell  wrote late Tuesday: “I need answers to unanswerable questions.”

Imagine this stupidty also that the cops who as many of us do know already themselves are some of the most screwed up persons in the world will be offering marriage advice, counseling..

The B.C. government needs to make fighting domestic violence a greater priority, a Victoria police officer said for too many people are dying as a result of domestic violence,  and  negotiations are currently underway to develop a very costly and very likely infective still too  regional domestic violence team that includes members of the area’s four municipal police departments, the RCMP, legal officials and members of anti-violence service groups and there is not a lot of extra money available anyway from the governments.  Alberta is now spending $1.5 million over three years to pair police with social workers to intervene in situations of domestic abuse. It is hoped the extra resources under the pilot program will provide a tailored response to families identified as high risk for repeated domestic violence. The team will focus on families who have had repeated incidents of domestic violence reported to police and who want to make changes before the courts become involved. “We want to provide support and resources before violence occurs and before they find themselves entering the justice system”.. Dream on..  the losers, the Police providing  martial support, they themselves are the ones with one  of the highest divorce rates amongst the professionals. Physician heal thyself first applies here too.  But that is just a beginning of the many extra costs too.  An Alberta threat assessment report says that between 2000 and 2006, more than 500 Canadian women were shot, stabbed, strangled or beaten to death by their intimate male partners. Those numbers are five times more than all of the Canadian soldiers and police officers killed in the line of duty during that same time period, the report said. The ministry of the Attorney General has been reviewing changes to the way the province addresses domestic violence, but isn’t convinced a single province wide model is the correct approach, it is very costly to put all of these people in jail. Domestic violence cases represent the second-largest share of prosecutors’ files, after  speeding, impaired driving, drugs..

Almost no members of the local police forces have completed specialized training on domestic violence, marriage counselling as their own lives reflect it too. A police Chief had promised his members will complete a mandatory, one-day online training program by next spring… ha ha ha.. really absurd.  How stupid, foolish can the Police now even get for if a one day online computer course can help a policeman, could not the citizens take the same online course? Absurd, really ludicrous.

Speaking about screwed up cops.. who often are falsely covered up for too.. falsely vindicated.

Vancouver police chief statement on wrongful arrest Vancouver Sun –  Last night I went to the home of Mr. Yao Wei Wu to apologize personally and on behalf of the Vancouver Police Department for the injuries and trauma he and his family have experienced after he became the victim of mistaken identity.

An outside police force will investigate allegations against five current and former Manitoba RCMP officers accused of offences ranging from fabricating evidence to torture. The charges relate to complaints filed in civil and criminal court by a Portage la Prairie man. Matthew Gray, 47, filed complaints against up to 15 RCMP officers after he was handcuffed and jolted multiple times with a Taser stun gun in June 2003. In October, a provincial court judge agreed there’s enough evidence to proceed with charges against five of the officers. http://www.cbc.ca/canada/manitoba/story/2009/12/21/mb-gray-taser-rcmp-lawsuit-manitoba.html

It was recently announced that the Police in BC and Alberta would provide marital counseling, family help.. thisnext was, is the expected result of such police activities..  VANCOUVER, B.C. – Vancouver’s police chief has personally apologized to a man who was mistakenly arrested and roughed up by plainclothes officers responding to a domestic abuse call. The officers responding to the abuse call went to the wrong address in the same building, and Wu says he was pulled outside and beaten, suffering cuts and a swollen eye. Two Vancouver plains clothes police officers were responding to a domestic assault call when they knocked on the door of Yao Wei Wu. The officers had the correct building — but the wrong apartment. When they knocked on Yao Wei Wu’s door, they had woken him up. He came to the door — and the police roughed Wu up.  Yao Wei Wu’s said he was hit multiple times on the back, head and face, and he had not resisted them because they were armed. Apparently the officers only realized their mistake when they had cuffed Yao and asked his name. Yao also had said that  the officers failed to ask him for identification before they began to beat him.  Chief Jim Chu is also backing away from an earlier police statement that the victim, Yao Wei Wu, was injured while resisting arrest.  Chu says that information was prematurely released as fact. A Vancouver police investigation of the incident is being overseen by the Office of the B.C. Police Complaints Commission. of course the department will be doing its OWN investigation…..what a joke. Please…….! When are we going to start charging these boozos with assault? I am personally sick & tired of these goons getting away with this kind of behaviour. Like when the RCMP welcomed that poor polish guy to Canada at the Vancouver airport. These people should NOT be above the law! The old boys club is alive and kicking………”Raise a glass boys, once again we proved we are above the law”

Vancouver police retract statement about beaten man CBC.ca

The Vancouver Police Strike Again: Another Citizen Takes a Beating Pacific Free Press  here is obviously a systemic problem with not only the VPD but policing throughout Canada where decades of criminality and impunity on the part of police forces has, in combination I suspect with too much television viewing and alcohol abuse, conspired to produce a generation of police who have no concept of the old saw “to serve and protect.” The situation of out of control cops, who feel just fine going ballistic on hapless citizens, especially ones of the poorer and darker-hued varieties is not helped by the silent complicity of politicians, and the kid glove treatment meted out by the media.

WINNIPEG (CBC) – A Manitoba RCMP officer has been charged with assaulting his wife. Const. Dennis Hart, 44, was arrested just before 3:30 a.m. on Saturday after RCMP officers in Gimli, about 80 kilometres north of Winnipeg, were called to the Misty Lake Lodge & Conference Centre. A woman at the lodge told officers she had been assaulted by her husband, RCMP said. The woman did not require immediate medical treatment for her injuries. Hart, an eight-year RCMP member, has been charged with assault, assault causing bodily harm and choking to overcome resistance.  He was released from custody on a promise to appear in Gimli provincial court on Jan. 25. “Unfortunately, I was in an abusive relationship for years. I called the police in a panic more than once. When the police showed up they forced my children and myself out of the house, into a women’s shelter. My little girl was beat up by a 12 year old boy, who knows what that poor kid has been through in his life. We were forced to leave the Shelter, they didn’t want to deal with what happened to us. The police called social services and they came by to talk to me. when I was finally able to find a place to live. Five weeks later. The only thing the social worker did for my family was to hand us a little pamphlet that says “Street Survival Guide” Where are these magical services? How did a person coming to my house giving me a guide to educate me on being homeless on the street help us? I was disgusted, disappointed and insulted. Was mileage charged? Couldn’t someone just mail me this pamphlet? There are no services for women and children in dire straights. By the way I worked full time during this time and washed up in gas stations and ate fast food. Its hard to eat properly when there is no place to boil water”.    ” Only 1.5 Million Dollars ?   The severance packages of former Health Care employees are have been for much larger amounts. Stelmach, you are such a dummy…. ”  ” $1.5 Million (M) new money to combat domestic violence. $2.5 Billion (B) in new money to oil and gas companies to bury waste (carbon capture). I’m glad to see we have our priorities. ”  ” I agree with you and have seen this sort of thing time and again. The appearance of acting without actually doing anything.  ” http://www.cbc.ca/canada/calgary/story/2009/12/04/calgary-domestic-violence-funding.html

ONE OF THE MOST COMMON, POPULAR TOPICS, SEARCHES ON THE INTERNET is can a Christian next get divorced and remarried, and the simple answer is no! but wait do not stop reading yet.. for if you are married, living to a demon, a control freak, a liar, a lazy good for nothing abusive person then please now do immediately get out of the marriage, do get an immediate  separation.. and this not the kind of advice you would expect from a preacher of peace  and love, but I am telling you all  this for our own good, and  you can thank me later.. and maybe next the still good for nothing bum, lousy spouse, he or  she will wake up as  to what she is really like and they may try to get help to change herself, himself.. but meanwhile don’t feel guilty about the peace you now have in your life.. By the way make sure first you are not the creepy, a good for nothing spouse yourself otherwise by your actions you will be doing your own spouse a great, great  service.. https://thenonconformer.wordpress.com/2009/01/02/divorce-and-remarriage-in-the-christian-church/

So what is the solution?

Many Spouses usually accuse the other  one of what they are guilty themselves, and that is why they are so conscious of it often.. On the disintegration of Canadian family,  society. Many can see now what’s broken but they  don’t know how to how to fix it.  The diagnosis is much easier than the cure. For  the cure may involve personal changes, actions that many would prefer to avoid.  They all mostly would like to avoid being discomfited personally, verbally and socially. A real valid first possible cure for our nation’s family ills too is neither new nor complicated, it is a very simple concept: Merely first replace those in power. Why? Simply  you must admit that their own  proposed solution is still also clearly inadequate and will not rectify the family problem but rather escalate it. A liberal divorce procedure with good intentions even   may in theory allow supposedly peace next into the broken Home? In reality DO DREAM on  for the root problem of the individuals personal unhappiness has not been dealt with, even their  own laziness ,  unrealistic expectations, negative charactheristics too.  People divorced once are likely next to be divorced 3 times.. and there has to be real negative consequences associated with it now too including their personal real next loss of fortunes, job income, productivity, pension savings, health and life insurance , loss of dental insurance too.

But next not only will the number of family violences increase, so will the number of alcoholics, you will also get  more single moms on social aid, and also the divorcees tend to live a shorter life, pay less taxes overall,  and they  tend to be often more sicker than the long term married couple.. all causing a big costly burden on the social, Medicare system now next too.

The police  already presently, and the social workers too now are unable to handle the many domestic family calls, and what will they do when the family violence next escalates with the too easy divorce, when  because the husband finds out his wife is considering divorce, he now feels he is being cheated, has been lied too, he now is being robbed, he has been taken in, he has been abused and the negative anger, his rage just increases and builds up.. so  often into family violence. ” the husband was embroiled in a fight over the ownership of the family home,   he was jealous after finding his wife in a bathroom with another man, and   he had a bad relationship with his mother-in-law”…  sadly all very typical these days too…

Yeah in Theory Iraq was going to be free and prosperous when the dictator was removed, but what happened to that  liberalized society next? what the Increase of Violence.. but they were promised peace, prosperity, freedom initially.. and very few divorcees find it too..

A real stupid move a Liberalized divorce solution still it seems like an overall  cheap solution, but it is very costly next overall.. very costly for the state too.. someone really needs to look at this plan and come up with something better. Or are they all there really that stupid still now? The police services are costly, ineffective too often, and a bad solution for most things anyway..

It  firstly is always Better not to have married the fool and next to Learn to live with your spouse.. no one is perfect.

Canada News LONDON (AFP) – Britain’s financial watchdog on Thursday said it had fined Canada’s Toronto Dominion Bank 7.0 million pounds (7.9 million euros, 11.3 million dollars) for failures related to the pricing of products. “The Financial Services Authority has today fined Toronto Dominion Bank (London Branch) 7.0 million pounds for repeated systems and controls failings around the pricing of sophisticated financial products,” it said in a release. “This is the bank’s second fine for systems and controls failings and the fourth largest levied by the FSA.” The watchdog added that the fine would force the bank to make a negative adjustment to its accounts of 96 million Canadian dollars in July 2008. “The breaches relate to pricing issues that were uncovered on a proprietary trader’s books within Toronto Dominion’s credit products group,” the FSA said in the statement. “Amongst other failings the FSA found that Toronto Dominion failed to follow their established procedures in ensuring the trader’s books were independently verified, and did not have adequate controls in place which could have detected the pricing issues.” http://ca.news.yahoo.com/s/afp/091217/canada/britain_canada_banking_regulate_fine_company_dominion

How come Canadians, Canadian firms  still have to be fined by the US or UK government for their wrong doings and not by  their own Canadian Government firstly now too often too. Remember the Canadian Conrad Black sitting in a US jail

I was surprised to find on my internet site statistics that a common search term was “Canadian Liars”.. https://thenonconformer.wordpress.com/2009/12/02/17147/

Quebec-based internet service provider Cogeco Inc. has stopped advertising its services as the fastest in in two Quebec cities after the Competition Bureau ruled the ads were misleading. The federal agency said the misleading claims about Cogeco’s services services in Drummondville and St-Hyacinthe had been clarified, but didn’t didn’t provide details on when the ads ran or say if its probe was spurred by a consumer complaint. The bureau said consumers had no way to compare the speed of Cogeco’s services with those of all of its competitors in the two cities, and it was therefore impossible for Cogeco to claim that they offered “the fastest” service. Cogeco’s CEO Louis Audet defended the ad campaign, saying the firm at the time had used an internet site that rates broadband speeds globally.  Cogeco is now using another method to compare speeds with them. Audet said he considers the Competition Bureau’s investigation to be minor. “I think what we were doing was rather benign. We advertised ourselves as the ‘fastest’ which is really the platform that we use across all of our territories where we compete with Bell and Telus,” he said.http://ca.news.yahoo.com/s/cbc/091217/business/consumer_consumer_cogeco_1

Telecommunication firms, Banks, Real estates firms, used car salesmen, are all in the same class, category, same compartment in hell.. they often lie, deceive , put a facts spin on the facts so next the consumers will to take out loans, will  invest, will  buy.. Buyer Beware.. and many civil and public servants, cops, politicians, accountants too  now are no better.. Claims about speed and reliability are becoming issues of dispute among Canada’s major wireless companies, too. They are fighting legal battles over those issues as they position themselves for more competition as more players enter the cellphone market. On Wednesday, a B.C. court ruled that Bell Mobility could not claim it was Canada’s “most reliable network” after Rogers challenged Bell’s ads as misleading.  Last month, a B.C. court brought an injunction to force Rogers Communications to stop claiming it was Canada’s most reliable network. That was the result of a complaint by Telus.

As the CBC’s Lynn Burgess knows first hand I seriously challenged Bell’s claim of being the most reliable network, as I have often posted on my sites this fact as to how unreliable they rather were . I have often rightfully said it is a very common unacceptable Canadian practice to lie in business and we keep on getting new news media evidence of this now as well.. https://thenonconformer.wordpress.com/2009/11/08/bells-lies-vs-reality-again/

Like I have even said before ” Cellular firms get new customer rules but they still have not honoured all the old ones.. Canada’s mobile phone companies will be required to make sure consumers understand their contracts when they buy a cellphone under a new code of conduct but will the phone companies next fully honour the same contracts? Unlikley. Most Consumer advocates don’t think much of the new code. A code of conduct adopted by Canada’s cell phone service providers is a political answer that doesn’t address real consumer concerns, another competent  critic now has still charged .The code will be administered by the useless, pretentious  Commissioner for Complaints for Telecommunications Services, a body set up two years ago by the industry to negotiate disputes between customers and companies.     In its first year, 2007-08,  CCTS was still unable able to resolve about 40  per cent, of the complaints according to its own website. What a very high failure rate.  About one-third of the complaints were related to wireless services. 40  per cent, that is about the number of unhappy Customers with Bell’s Internet services too”    https://thenonconformer.wordpress.com/2009/09/02/commissioner-for-complaints-for-telecommunications-services/

What is authentic business or services?  not Canada’s civil and public services, or Bell, Rogers, Telus and the major Banks , major Real Estate firms  or doctors now as well

The head of the Fraser Health authority–who was responsible for cutting programs and closing beds in the region’s hospitals–was paid $466,000 last year, including a $30,000 performance bonus. CEO Dr. Nigel Murray, who also filed expenses of $71,000 last year and $69,000 in expenses in his six months with the authority the year before, has recently cut thousands of surgeries, closed operating rooms, limited MRIs, closed acute-care beds, downgraded Mission’s emergency room, closed a teen psychiatry unit in Abbotsford and a detox unit in Chilliwack, cut mental health, seniors and domestic violence programs and laid off 12 hospital chaplains and other counsellors to avoid a projected $160-million deficit for this fiscal year. The average price of a Canadian Home is  350,000 dollars and many Canadians will take a lifetime to pay it out..  but not our doctors..

All Bad Cabinet Ministers in Canada are also unacceptable.. federally and provincially, and there are much too many of them still https://thenonconformer.wordpress.com/2008/03/

It has always confounded me as to why the liars, crooks, deceivers, abusers  too often do still do think they can get away with now, next and forever. Civil and public servamts, CRTC, regulating bodies, Consumer affairs included.. but there is a lot more, many more reasons so many people despise  them so much. They are Big liars for a start.. next very costly and very inefficient , pretentious as well.. all like a typical bad civil and public service overall!..

FOR WE TEND TO KNOW THAT THEY THE CROOKS, ABUSERS TOO,  NOW ARE NOT ABOUT TO STOP THEIR WRONG DOINGS. RATHER THEY WILL NEXT EVEN ESCALATE, CONTINUE IN THEM. AND THAT IS ANOTHER VALID REASON  THEY DO NEED TO BE EXPOSED, PROSECUTED AND STOPPED. EVEN FOR THE GOOD OF US ALL. These crooks are so predictable now next too for they cannot help but go to their old bad ways, bad habits, lies, and they only way to deal with them is to fire them or incarcerate them.

There are many things wrong with  any health care system. https://thenonconformer.wordpress.com/2009/12/02/even-many-doctors-are-mainly-selfish-self-centered-want-to-get-rich-fast-too/

Police, church, province failed – Ontario abuse inquiry

A $50-million probe into rampant sexual abuse in Cornwall, Ont., ended yesterday without answering the key question it had faced – whether a sophisticated pedophile ring evaded the law for years while its influential members were preying on local children.
http://www.theglobeandmail.com/news/national/commission-slams-police-authorities-in-abuse-inquiry/article1402004/

CORNWALL – Police, government, the Catholic Church and other institutions failed to respond to decades of alleged and real child sexual abuse here by probation officers, clergy, teachers and others, a public inquiry has found. In a devastating 2,400-word report, Cornwall Inquiry Commissioner Normand Glaude found a combination of systemic failures, insensitivity to historic abuse complaints and an official reluctance to act. “Institutions were reluctant to be forthright and own up to mistakes, fearing scandal or criticism more than they feared the breach of their duty to the vulnerable and the public,” Mr. Glaude said in a speech yesterday while unveiling his four-volume report. “For some, this resulted in revictimization by the institutions from whom they sought help.” He makes it clear, however, he found no evidence of any official cover-ups. Instead, the report says local institutions ill-equipped to deal with allegations about their own employees, whether a probation officer, teacher, priest or child-care worker, acted defensively and often in self-interest.  Mr. Glaude singled out the Ontario Ministry of Community Safety and Correctional Services for particular censure. The report describes how the ministry took no action against a Cornwall probation supervisor and another employee who failed to properly report two former probation officers who had engaged in sexual and other improprieties with young probationers.
 The report’s recommendations include:
– An internal investigation is needed if a probation or parole officer is suspected or has been charged with sexual assault or abuse.
– Police should be required to inform public and religious institutions and justice partners that an allegation of sexual assault or abuse has been made against one of their employees.
– Bishops, priests, employees and volunteers should encourage people who disclose sexual abuse or assault to report the allegation to police.
– The Diocese of Alexandria-Cornwall should have rigorous procedures for evaluating candidates it plans to present for study at its seminary.

None of these recommendations are binding so do not expect any positive changes, related justice to improve, in Canada’s often pretentious justice and police system

A NO WIN SITUATION for the federal Conservatives

A NO WIN SITUATION for the federal conservative government THAT CAN ONLY END  IN DIVORCE, A FUTILE DISCUSSION TOO.. THE HUSBAND FALSELY ARGUING NOW  IF THE WIFE HAS ANY RIGHTS IN THE HOME… ABSURD , SHE HAS FULL RIGHTS TOO.. SHE IS THE VITAL PART OF THE MARRIAGE. PM Stephen Harper and his hypocritical,  double talk about democracy he does not know the first thing about it.. nor about transparency and accountability still.. By far the most outrageous NON FUNNY gag in the PM’s show is the Conservatives’ promise to usher in a new era of government openness and accountability.  .

We seem to have again elected liars and fools into THE Cabinet as well..

Parliament in showdown with Harper government over Afghan documents CP  Fri Dec 11, 6:38 PM  OTTAWA – MPs  discussing the unmerry possibilities of everything from a court battle to a confidence vote that could bring down the Conservative government  The opposition parties voted to force the government to release all documents – uncensored – to a parliamentary committee. The parliamentary law clerk backed up the move, underlining the primacy of the chamber over laws passed by the government. But  cabinet ministers dismissed the parliamentary motion, saying laws governing the classification of certain documents will govern their release.  It all leaves the country potentially in the grips of another constitutional melee over which body should reign supreme: Parliament or the (MINORITY) government.   Commons might be forced to rule the government in contempt of Parliament, which would eventually entail a confidence vote. Or Defence Minister Peter MacKay could be called to the “bar” in Parliament to answer questions, and be removed of his seat if deemed in contempt. ”  That’s how our democracy works,” Liberal Leader Michael Ignatieff  “So this is an issue about fundamental democracy in Canada and we see absolutely no reason why the government of Canada can’t just do what Parliament says it ought to do.  NDP defence critic Jack Harris said he’s “looking for ways to ensure that the principle of the supremacy of Parliament is honoured.”  “No government in Canada could challenge that and we’d be surprised if this government or any government would want to override that.”  The opposition insists MPs could be bestowed security clearance, and trusted with secure information for the purposes of their study. Otherwise, a public inquiry would be the best option, they say.  http://ca.news.yahoo.com/s/capress/091211/national/afghan_cda_abuse_records.
