The Canadian citizens in 2011 have elected the federal government and the opposition party they wanted

Clearly the DISATISFACTION WITH THE PROVINCIAL LIBERALS ALSO IN QUEBEC, ONTARIO AND IN BC HAD HELPED BOTH THE CONSERVATIVES WHO WERE, ARE WILLING TO WIN AT ANY COSTS AND THE NDP

IT WAS ALSO NDP Jack Layton himself now also who had  HELPED TO destroy  the Bloc Québécois in Quebec AND WHO  by splitting the vote with Liberals in Ontario, had also allowed the Conservatives to slip up the middle and win more seats in Central Canada to NOW be able to form a Conservative Majority government. And it was the VOTE anything but the BQ or the Conservatives voters plus NDP Jack Layton directly who had helped to turn Gilles Duceppe into the now removed Progressive Conservative party and the now gone Kim Campbell of the devastated BQ. It was also the NDP Jack Layton himself now who had helped to  kick the federal  Liberals into third place -the Liberal party’s worst election result ever.

With 99 per cent of polls reporting, the New Conservatives thus had won a majority government with 167 seats, for the first time followed by the NDP with 102 seats, the NDP is the new official oppostion party are also falsely known as the left leaning evil socialists, and the Liberals with 34 seats Canada wide, a great wipe out suffered their biggest historic defeat,

and the useless Bloc Québécois with 4 seats, now became an almost a non existent  devastated political party but  also the CONSERVATIVES IN QUEBEC GOT STILL ONLY 6 SEATS while the Liberals only got only 7 seats in Quebec, compared to the NDP 58 seats in Quebec, and the Green Party got only 1 seat in Canada.

Any Canadian federal party needs to capture 155 seats to win a majority in the Canadian House of Commons.

The clearly Christian Pretender and even a pretender Conservative Stephen Harper who acts basically as a Liberal even  finally getting a majority at any costs, by him clearly even not keeping his past election  promises, by his pork barrreling, by hiring friends, by lying, bullying, and abusing many others  in the process still now, was and  is one the saddest day in Canada. The Conservatives who only now got 40 percent of the votes and so they  didn’t even get 60% of the vote is a reality as to how many Canadians  do still dislike them..

Too bad that so little of those Canadian people that voted for him do not even  know what potential  harm they have done again to their country and their own families. These sadly more money hungry, clearly monetary led  misled people of Canada are still just the ordinary sheep  who will vote for anyone who tells them the lies they want to hear, and promises them more wealth, and more personal economic prosperity and also thus still will vote for anyone that smells of oil wealth .. even regardless of the actuall unacceptable  horrors associated with less gun controls, or that do even now befall the wildlife in the Alberta tar sands, or the related water pollution that was  used to extract their oil an own poison. Of course the Conservative spin doctors will point you to other facts,  causes..

Even the NDP offical opposition party party might have some difficulties balancing its fresh contingent of MPs from Quebec, who ran also on a program of strong Quebec nationalism, with the NDP grassroots supporters outside of the province. The NDP leader Jack Layton’s  will now have to satisfy his Quebec suporters without also upsetting his past  support base as the party will have to become somewhat more significantly Quebec-centred,

The NDP will need to work also  on how  to deliver their promises related to the desires, hopes and aspirations of Quebecers and helping to improve Canada’s troubled medicare, Canada’s health-care system – and the still burgeoning costs that do go with it – is a  major concern. Now  after five years in office and with the increasing anxiety among a majority of Canadians about our health care, the Conservatives now still have not made a single major policy initiative in an effort to mend it, improve it.
Liberal MP Justin Trudeau said he was pleased to see Quebecers jump ship from the separatist Bloc Quebecois, even if it wasn’t to join the Liberals. “(Quebecers) have stopped saying, ‘OK let’s just sit on the sidelines,'” he said. “I think we’ll look at a very different country in the coming years with Quebec playing a major role.”

The Conservatives gained 23 seats, mostly in Ontario, while the Liberals suffered overall a 43-seat drop. But the NDP, who nearly tripled their seat count, made a major breakthrough and mainly in Quebec, mostly at the expense of the Bloc,by the NDP  gaining 67 seats. The unexpected  loss of 45 Bloc seats in the province prompted party leader Gilles Duceppe to announce he would resign in days.

No conservatives were elected on the island of Montreal..

1 BQ was elected on the island of Montreal only
7 Liberals were elected on the island of Montreal only
NDP was the dominant choice in Montreal, and in Quebec

Clearly there was a great different voting pattern between the English and French speaking Canadians. The still disappointed majority Conservative government now still does not even have any major foothold in Quebec since they were and are completely out of touch with the needs, and the aspirations of the more socially concious French speaking Quebecers.
Stock Market plunges despite Conservative majority victory The Toronto Stock Exchange closed Tuesday’s trading session with its biggest one-day loss in almost two months. The Toronto stock market closed down more than 240 points Tuesday as commodities sold off after a long run-up in prices. The election of the Conservatives as a majority government did little to cushion the fall. Harper win touted to stabilize markets

“In tough times, we need an honest, trustworthy and transparent government. Mr. Harper and the Conservatives have consistently fallen short on this count, making honesty an expendable virtue more than a few times in the past several years.
More recently, and most disturbingly, Bev Oda thought it perfectly acceptable to alter the intended meaning of a legal document by 180 degrees after it had been signed. Most Canadians know that if they did such a thing while on the job, they would be out of one. Mr. Harper stood by her, effectively condoning such an act. This dishonesty transcends the kind of white lies that people expect of politicians; it suggests hostility toward the truth. Indeed, in some of the government’s stranger moments, the Conservatives appear to have lost touch with reality altogether, blinded by ideology while caught in their own spin cycle. Witness their response to being the first government in Canadian history to be found in contempt of Parliament. To the Tories, this was a mere difference of opinion.

Conservatives often speak of having respect for law and order, an issue that resonates with all Canadians and crosses party lines. Why, then, did Mr. Harper choose to ignore the police report on the long-gun registry, which clearly describes the registry as a crucial weapon in fighting crime and gang violence?

Canada will face serious challenges in the years ahead. Like many Canadians, I’m convinced that Stephen Harper and the Conservative Party are not up to the job. My alternative endorsement echoes the now-famous one by Newfoundland and Labrador’s former premier, Danny Williams, during the last election: Anything But Conservative. Both Michael Ignatieff and Jack Layton have given us far more reason to believe they are trustworthy, honest leaders who have a grip on the reality Canadians face. ” http://www.theglobeandmail.com/news/politics/anyone-but-harper-a-dissenting-endorsement/article2005395/

How can a now Alberta redneck now get it so wrong,

It is historical fact, reinforced again this week, that Quebeckers have always voted for a party led by a Quebecker when confronted with a choice between such a party and one led by someone from outside the province.
 .
“The Bloc got another break when Stephen Harper made a statement pushing for teens who commit serious crimes to serve jail sentences in adult prisons. Mr. Duceppe slammed the Prime Minister for delivering “fresh meat” to prison pedophiles and sending young criminals to “the university of crime.”” http://www.nationalpost.com/news/canada/election-2008/story.html?id=882332
 .
Now really How can a now Alberta, redneck that was personally now even raised in Montreal, Quebec,  Harper now get it so wrong, did he accidentally offend the people of Quebec or did he do so knowingly because he not care if it did cause he was trying to please so hard his hypocritical, Conservative rednecks of Alberta, who do emphasize now wrongfully now the letter of   the law over the  spirit of the law.. for now when there is an increase of  problem children, juvenile delinquents,  it is the parents firstly who have to take the majority of the blame and not the children. Surely the self professing Christian evangelical, Alliance church,  Conservative Prime Minister Stephen Harper knows this from his own personal Bible readings? (Prov  22:6 KJV)  Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.
 .
or is Harper  still just a pretender Christian now too not just a pretender politician?
.
and the answer is?
 .
In reality Genuine Born Again, Evangelical, Christians are total abstainers from smoking, drugs, alcohol, cheating, lying, stealing, tax evasions, pornography, or rather all personal vices, Impairments, gay sex now too.  But still not Barrack Obama or Stephen Harper and why?
 .
Clearly ** The Bible teaches against drinking alcoholic beverages.
 .
The liars and the demons  of course will say other wise.
 .
Following my post about Obama the alcoholic drunk?  last Friday , even Obama the cigar smoker, a  past  drug user too, next  since Friday Obama went down 5 percent in the polls and low leads by 3% only  and McCain next strengthened his support with the Christians.. but CNN also next responded by proving that Sarah Palin’s daughter was also an unacceptable alcoholic next , and CNN made no comment about Obama’s drunkenness orgies…
 .

Many conservative pundits today are trying desperately to warn their fellow Americans that Barack Obama has been linked to various far-left organizations, but it still is in reality it is really unfair to the Bible, Christianity, to try to link all socialists as communists, unbiblical. For unlike most evangelicals these days and their churches denominations who wrongfully do not care about any of the others, only themselves it seems,  Jesus, the Apostles, Apostle James included, and deacons care about both the good physical and spiritual welfare of the flock, of all persons, the poor and needy, the sick   persons too.. they were Both conservatives and liberal- socialist sas well.. not  basically Republicans. Judas was clearly the sole  Republican..

.

(Rev 3:19 KJV)  As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent.

(1 Cor 5:11 KJV)  But now I have written unto you not to keep company, if any man that is called a brother be a fornicator, or covetous, or an idolater, or a railer, or a drunkard, or an extortioner; with such an one no not to eat.  12   For what have I to do to judge them also that are without? do not ye judge them that are within? 13  But them that are without God judgeth. Therefore put away from among yourselves that wicked person.

.

One thing is still very clear the too often pretentious news media and  the too often pretentious  politicians, Mr. Duceppe ironically is one of the worst  MP I  talked to personally,  are not actively doing their jobs in helping people to be informed, having the proper facts to be able to make the proper decisions, take the proper actions, so do thank God for the existence of the internet, no matter how imperfect now it itself is as well.. it offers now at least some valid truths to the discerning readers.

.

“I knew would happen, after the corrupt and scandal-plagued Conservatives failed to get a majority because Quebecers were too smart to fall for Harper’s vote-buying bribes and negative advertising, the embittered cynics trot out the letters bashing Quebecers as selfish separatists. In a letter about the inter-provincial bridge proposal, David Hooper whined that “the majority of voters in the riding of Gatineau” supported the Bloc Québécois. That’s odd, considering Bloc MP Richard Nadeau received just 29 per cent of the vote. By no measure is this a majority – in fact, more than 70 per cent (a majority) of Gatineau voters supported federalist parties.Besides, voter turnout in Quebec was 61 per cent, and only 29 per cent of Gatineau voters chose the Bloc. That equals less than 18 per cent of the voting population. Let’s use some common sense here. Just because the election might not have gone the way Mr. Hooper and Mr. Clark wanted is no excuse for Quebec-bashing.”Mark Johnson,Nepean

Canada’s Prime Minister Stephen Harper who clearly really does not care about the good welfare of all the citizens of Canada next got his redneck conservative supporters distortions of why he had lost the 2008 federal election and , did not get a majority, need to see that Hamper is the one step forward, two steps backward loser rather and not falsely blame Quebec for  any of this

Canada’s election not as interesting as the one in the US?

Newfoundland and Labrador Premier Danny Williams made his “ABC,” or Anything But Conservative, campaign official on Tuesday by registering his crusade against Stephen Harper’s Conservatives with Elections Canada and obtaining “third party” status..It’s just the latest move by Williams, a Progressive Conservative, to ramp up his fight to prevent the re-election of Stephen Harper in the Oct. 14 federal election.Under Elections Canada rules, any person or group that spends more than $500 on election advertising must register as a “third party,” a designation distinct from that of parties actually running in the election.Williams has waged a war of words with Harper ever since the leader reneged on a 2006 election promise to exclude non-renewable energy sources from the equalization formulaOn Monday, the premier launched a website, http://www.anythingbutconservative.ca/ AnythingButConservative.ca, in his bid to keep Harper out of office. Days earlier, he blasted the prime minister in a vitriolic speech, calling Harper a fraud and warning he would pursue a far-right agenda if he is allowed to form a majority government.    http://www.cbc.ca/news/canadavotes/story/2008/09/16/williams-elections-cnd.html

Look at the great infighting… and it makes me wonder how anyone can support Harper

“In this campaign, you will hear many promises.
But promises are not on the ballot. People are on the ballot.
And the promises are only as good as the integrity of the people who make them.
In this election, it is our responsibility as voters to serve as judges of character.
Let’s first of all remember that Stephen Harper’s Conservative Party was built on a broken promise. Peter MacKay promised David Orchard he would not merge the Progressive Conservative Party of Canada with the Canadian Alliance. That promise was swiftly broken.
And the broken promises have not stopped since.
Stephen Harper, in the last two election campaigns, traveled to Newfoundland and Labrador bearing a promise.
Newfoundlanders and Labradorians fully expected Stephen Harper to live up to his words and repeated written promise.
He did not.
He broke his promise after he got his votes. His own MPs and candidates confirm his promise was broken.
Stephen Harper’s actions raise important questions of trust. Of integrity. Of character.

In this election, Canadians have the opportunity – and the obligation – to judge Stephen Harper and his Conservatives by their record.
They have also broken other promises to Canadians.
They have imposed deep cuts on some of the most vulnerable people in our country.
They have mocked provincial premiers.
They have discouraged businesses from investing in Ontario.
These Conservatives are certainly not “Progressive” Conservatives. Their agenda is regressive.
And now the Conservatives are seeking a mandate and a majority government to continue to implement an agenda that is not fully revealed.

Canada deserves better than this.
This election truly is about making Canada strong. Strong and progressive. A country in which values like integrity and trust actually mean something.
The power to shape our future is in our hands.
And the first step is as easy as A-B-C. “
Anything But Conservative.”

 Stephen Harper’s own  past Quotes

“I think in Atlantic Canada, because of what happened in the decades following Confederation, there is a culture of defeat that we have to overcome. …Atlantic Canada’s culture of defeat will be hard to overcome as long as Atlantic Canada is actually physically trailing the rest of the country.”
    – New Brunswick Telegraph Journal
“There’s unfortunately a view of too many people in Atlantic Canada that it’s only through government favours that there’s going to be economic progress, or that’s what you look to…. That kind of can’t-do attitude is a problem in this country but it’s obviously more serious in regions that have had have-not status for a long time.”
    – Toronto Sun
“There is a dependence in the region that breeds a culture of defeatism.”
    – CBC News
“I’ve taken my position and frankly it’s the same position that I took all through the [Alliance] leadership race. I delivered [speeches] everywhere I went, including in the Maritime provinces on several occasions, about the spirit of defeatism in the country and what drives it and how we have to address it.”
    – National Post
“[W]hat we clearly need is experimentation – with market reforms and private delivery options within the public system. And it is only logical that, in a federal state where the provinces operate the public health care systems and regulate private services, that experimentation should occur at the provincial level.”
    – Speech in Charlottetown
“These proposals included cries for billions of new money for social assistance in the name of child poverty and for more business subsidies in the name of cultural identity. In both cases I was sought out as a rare public figure to oppose such projects.”
    – The Bulldog, National Citizens Coalition
“Canada is a Northern European welfare state in the worst sense of the term, and very proud of it…. In terms of the unemployed… don’t feel particularly bad for many of these people. They don’t feel bad about it themselves, as long as they’re receiving generous social assistance and unemployment insurance.”
    – Speech to the US Council for National Policy
“After all, enforced national bilingualism in this country isn’t mere policy. It has attained the status of a religion. It’s a dogma which one is supposed to accept without question…. Make no mistake. Canada is not a bilingual country. In fact it is less bilingual today than it has ever been…. As a religion, bilingualism is the god that failed. It has led to no fairness, produced no unity, and cost Canadian taxpayers untold millions.”
    – Calgary Sun
“You’ve got to remember that west of Winnipeg the ridings the Liberals hold are dominated by people who are either recent Asian immigrants or recent migrants from eastern Canada: people who live in ghettoes and who are not integrated into western Canadian society.”
    – The Report newsmagazine
“For historic reasons that I won’t get into, the Liberal party gets the votes of most Catholics in the country, including many practising Catholics.”
    – Speech to the US Council for National Policy
“I don’t know all the facts on Iraq, but I think we should work closely with the Americans.”
    – The Report newsmagazine
“Fixed election dates prevent governments from calling snap elections for short-term political advantage. They level the playing field for all parties and the rules are clear for everybody.”
    – CBC News
“The government is clear that it will not be seeking an early election. At any time Parliament can defeat the government and provoke an early election, if that is what the opposition irresponsibly chooses to do.”
    – Hansard “..

Call it what you want but it is not about safety

Note this important  brief introduction to road safety .. Yes  you always do have to drive safely, in control, not impaired as well and yes there are many, many different factors that now can cause a vehicular, automotive  accident, including but not limited to the actual daily road conditions, even the type of tires you have .. for  it is a fact that good tires lead to a safer drive, and so does a 4 wheel drive.  Next when you start to first drive at any day do first immediately test the road condition by coming to a planned sudden stop , and see firsthand how your car reacts accordingly.. then next do use this experience to set how you will drive the rest of the day too. And no matter what car, or tires you have, or who is the driver, if you do hit a patch of black ice, due clearly to the failure of others, such as the Governments, municipalities,  to apply salt and gravel on the icy / snowy  road, to falsely try to save money here,  it can be very, very hazardous now too. Give them a fine, ticket, they firstly do deserve it too.

“Now we know that more people have accident due to road rage, impaired driving, driving under the influence of drugs, alcohol  over speeding too and we still do need to review how much time and resources do the police deal with that firstly? ”

0RCMP.AL

A study of the figures in the British Medical Journal showed a  gap between police and hospital data  showed a wide divergence in these figures   said one of the authors of the article, Mike Gill, professor of public health at Surrey University. The Police are known  to lie, and  they try to please their political bosses , to get a raise by generating revenue from traffic tickets.

”  Some cops guilty of reckless policing . So why is that so many police officers go brain dead when assigned to traffic duty? Answer me that.  Case in point: Last week while testing a bunch of different motorcycles in Vancouver – read about it Thursday in Globe Auto – I was shocked to see a cop jump out into the middle of traffic. He was waving down two cars for allegedly speeding.   I was riding in the opposite direction and what I saw so shocked me, I almost turned around to give the pink-vested cop a piece of my mind. What he did was reckless and endangered not only himself but other drivers.  As for the people he pulled over, they might have been speeding, but if they were it wasn’t by much. We’re not talking street racing here, folks. Not possible in the middle of a busy workday morning in a crowded city like Vancouver.  This was all bout revenue collection, not safety. What the cop did was, in fact, anything but safe.   The next day, returning from Whistler down the Sea-to-Sky highway, I witnessed another piece of brilliant police work. At the bottom of a long, straight downhill stretch near a place called Lions Bay, the cops had set up another speed trap.  The posted limit there is 80 km/hour. It’s pretty easy to slide past 90 km/hour on that bit of downhill, but it is so straight and so wide open, with two lanes in either direction, well, going a bit past the limit does not in any way pose a danger to society.  No, I was not nabbed there; I know it’s a likely trap and always watch my speed. Others were nailed, though. They all looked like normal middle class folks to me. No obvious criminals, no reckless lunatics at all.  Again, this speed trap was obviously about revenue collection, not public safety.   My advice to anyone caught in an absurd speed trap is to fight it. I did and won my case in July. I had been pulled over more than a year ago for allegedly speeding on a Sunday afternoon. I argued with the cop that I was not speeding, that we were just two middle-aged guys going to play golf, driving along in the most modest of family sedans.    And then I said I’d see him in court. Which I did.  Two cops showed up, one of them a detective who had been doing traffic duty the year before. He was the witness. The other acted as prosecutor.    I acted in my own defense. When the judge asked me if I had any courtroom experience, I replied: “Only what I’ve seen on Law and Order.” He laughed and so did the gallery, though the two policemen remained stone-faced.   Long story short, the two cops were an embarrassment. They failed to present evidence properly and the judge was unhappy that they appeared to be discussing their testimony outside the courtroom during a break in the proceedings.   In the end the judge – who was not at all sympathetic to their plight — said the policemen had made a major blunder in presenting evidence. He told me he’d dismiss the case if I made the request.  I did. Case dismissed. The incompetence of the police was not rewarded.   Like any sensible person, I am all for safe driving. But when the police set up speed traps only to collect revenue, then I see it as my civic duty to do what I can to discourage them.   If nothing else, I hope we’ll see fewer police officers with their brains turned off, playing in traffic “http://www.theglobeandmail.com/blogs/driving

Now I have said it for over 3 decades in wrting to all too so Call it what you want but it is not about public safety, for it is  a self employment, empire  building, false money grab, revenue generation, hidden taxes.. for if  the cops, the mad RCMP  were now really worried about public safety THEY WOULD FIRSTLY ARREST THEIR OWN KIND, THE BAD COPS WHO OFTEN DRIVE HOME DRUNK AFTER WORK, COMING HOME FROM THE POLICE TAVERN, and they would ALSO go after the people who drive reckless, fail to stop at the stop signs, traffic stop lights, and the impaired drunken drivers, the unsafe cars whose brakes are squealing cause they need to be repaired.. etc.,,

  https://thenonconformer.wordpress.com/2008/12/22/cops-lie-too/

http://thefocusonthefamily.wordpress.com/2008/09/07/rage/

An Australian study estimates that about half of all traffic accidents in Australia may be due to road rage and most of the others related to alcohol, impaired driving and yet the police falsely tend to pursue revenue generating speeding traffic tickets still and why?

Road rage is a relatively serious act; it can  be seen as a violation of human and property rights , an endangerment of  other’s personal well being, security.

Too many COPS, persons distort  the LAW. it’s meaning still too.

The specific  Laws are created for a reason and given a certain set of conditions and circumstances.  When the circumstances or situation are not present then the law is basically not applicable. (2 Cor 3:6 KJV)   for the letter killeth, but the spirit giveth life.

WE ARE NOT TO WALK  “Not of works, lest any man should boast.”  Ephesians 5:9

Jude 18-19 “”How that they told you there should be mockers in the last time, who should walk after their own ungodly lusts. These be they who separate themselves, sensual, having not the Spirit.”

HEY I ONCE HAD WRITTEN A LONG TIME AGO THAT THE TOO OFTEN SELF CENTERED, PROUD PEOPLE OF ALBERTA DO REALLY NEED TO STOP BASHING THE POOR PEOPLE, AND THOSE ON SOCIAL AID, FOR A DAY WILL COME THAT THEY TOO WILL BE NEEDING SOCIAL AID AND THAT DAY HAS COME..

Most accidents are caused by drunk driving and the doctor does not mention this still?? what was that? he was paid by the liquor industry not to? or was PAID BY MONEY MAKING REVENUE COPS TO SAY SPEED ALONE MAINLY KILLS.. HOW ABSURD.. THIS Canadian doctor.. and not a Canadian Traffic engineer uses now US statistics ONLY to say speed alone kills? and he what HE THUS HAD considered also the number of drunk, impaired, road rage  drivers, that seem to increase very year as a fact for most of the deaths NO MATTER WHAT THE SPEED?  or what this did not bother him.. only the number of people who speed?  SPEED IS A MAIN FACTOR IN 5 TO 15 PERCENT OF THE ACCIDENTS.. AND WHAT ABOUT THE REST OF THE ACCIDENTS? THE 85 PERCENT.. it SEEMS THE DOCTORS IN UNITED KINGDOM CONTRADICT THIS CANADIAN DOCTOR IN THEIR TRAFFIC ACCIDENT STUDIES TOO.. SO WHAT ELSE IS NEW?  Preposterous COOKED results.. NOW get real..

OPP charge almost 8000 during weekend blitz Toronto Star -Ontario Provincial Police have tallied up the figures from a Thanksgiving long weekend safe-driving blitz. Officers checked 145071 vehicles during “Operation Impact” and charged 7155 people with speeding.

Ontario Doctors rightfully oppose cellphones and driving

How stupid can any of our politicians really now be? It is undeniable that many persons are wrongfully distracted while talking on the phone..  it is now just as dangerous just as much  as they have been drinking alcohol  too..  driving and talking on the phone, male or female, with or without handsets too now they are dangerous.. often as a result the drivers do fail to stop at lights, stops signs, pedestrians crossings.. I do not need any expensive study to prove this now too for I often have too often seen it myself when I go for walks..

Ontario Doctors rightfully oppose cellphones and driving nor should they be even allowed to be used in  any of the Hospitals  now as well where the sick patients are trying to get healthy, rest..

Prime Minister Stephen Harper’s One Step Forward, two backwards continues

“Conservatives are known for being disrespectful to people who oppose them. I’ve seen it in the House of Commons – the insults come fast and furious.” NDP Leader Jack Layton

Tory communications director Ryan Sparrow was suspended and forced to apologize Thursday for implying that criticism from the father of a Canadian soldier killed in Afghanistan may have been politically motivated. Sparrow made the suggestion in an email to a CTV journalist after Jim Davis, who lost a son in Afghanistan, called Harper’s surprise pledge to pull Canadian troops out of Afghanistan in 2011 “irresponsible.”  Sparrow’s email to Jenna Fyfe, a producer with the television network, appeared to discount that criticism by noting that Davis was a supporter of Liberal deputy leader Michael Ignatieff.

It was the fourth time in the still-early days of the campaign that Harper has had to deal with gaffes, or climb down from previous positions.

The prime minister issued a rare apology for an offensive ad showing a bird pooping on the Liberal leader. He reversed his opposition to including Green Leader Elizabeth May in the televised debates. And he had to deal with the resignation of a Conservative candidate in Halifax after it became known she had a criminal record.

Canada Votes – Election 2008 Harper hopes this goes by unnoticed
During the last federal election in 2006, Stephen Harper’s Conservatives accused the Liberal government of treating public money as a “party election fund” and taking part in a “vote-buying” spree thanks to nearly $20 billion in promises. This time around, starting June 2 and running through the months leading up to the campaign kickoff, the Conservative government itself pledged $15 billion. http://lfpress.ca/newsstand/canadavotes/news/2008/09/14/6759361-sun.html

The Bible Prohibits Affirmative Action?

http://healtheland.wordpress.com/2008/09/10/the-bible-prohibits-affirmative-action/ supposedly…

How some people even professing Christains falsely, deliberately do still  overlook that Jesus came to help the poor and needy persons is way beyond me!

Hey we seem all to be able read into the Bible anything you want but the reality, for all of the people who collect the tithe, the poor and priests now they  were all on Biblical social welfare, and they were not allowed to own property just as much as  anyone on social aid today too.. 1/7 of the tithe was to be given to the poor, and the role of deacons was to help poor people with social aid..

Just wait till many of you guys get to be over 45 and get cancer, diabetes, heart attacks and cannot work and how gladly you will go on social aid..

So do not bash poor people for you will walk in their footsteps next to learn compassion.. I personally in my life now have seen many Christians in churches go that route next .Once  Proud Bullies, bashers, abusers included..

and he profess to be an evangelical Christian?

Canada’s Prime Minister Stephen Harper

The Conservative government announced just over $19-billion of pledges
in the past three months before the Prime Minister, Stephen Harper….

While far better than he used to be at retail politics (glad-handing, cocktail party small talk, burger flipping, one-on-ones in strip mall parking lots and so on), Stephen Harper still looks mildly inconvenienced when out on the hustings.

so you mean Harper now  he is better and happier when he is giving our alcohol  to his alcoholic buddies too?

it also sounds rightfully like more bribery, corruptions to me..

A bar tenderer and he professes to be an evangelical Christian? who are supposed to be abstainers, so  you cannot believe anything you hear from politicians now theses days especially the new Conservative ones in Canada.

TORONTO (Reuters) – Canada’s ruling Conservatives have lost some of their momentum in swing parliamentary districts since Prime Minister Stephen Harper triggered an October 14 general election, a poll released on Tuesday suggested.

The survey, conducted by Strategic Counsel for The Globe and Mail and CTV, showed Harper’s party had gained support in 45 battleground districts since the last general election, which brought a Conservative minority government to power in January 2006.

But opposition parties have regained some ground since Harper launched a new election campaign on Sunday, according to the survey.

The rolling poll tracks voting preferences in pivotal electoral districts in the provinces of Ontario, Quebec and British Columbia.

The latest three-day poll was taken Saturday to Monday. It indicated that a wave of support that seemed to be building for the Conservatives may have ebbed a little when compared with results of the previous survey, taken Thursday to Saturday.

The surveys are conducted daily, with three-day running tallies comprising a poll of 1,325 Canadians. The results appeared on The Globe’s website.

(Rom 12:2 KJV)  And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God. (Rom 8:29 KJV)  For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren.

I have now learned along time ago that the bad men and bad women like to disguise themselves as good persons too and they like to ,  want to have all the sole rights, the rights to do all the talking as well, and all it takes for these evil persons to continue to prosper is for the good persons to do nothing, well real  life does not work that well, I thus do not mind, do not hesitate to expose the liars, cheats, thieves, con men, imposters and to rightfully demand their persecution and incarceration too, no matter who they they they are, or how important they now do think they are. Those whom I love, I talk too, I also  do chasten and rebuke them openly, without partiality, even asking them rightfully to repent. And if you claim to be a Christian, I have a right to be a fruit inspector, to demand you precise what you preach to others, live it, that your Christianity be fully visible and that ye not be rather another one of those much too many hypocrites now as well

Too often women have been put down by men..

0poorwmn

Give me the direct verse that says women are called only to be evangelists The word missionary has the same root in Greek as apostle; both mean one sent forth. Today’s missionary is only a true apostle if he has been sent specifically by God, and if this apostolic authority is operating in his ministry. “The word apostle in the Greek is apostollos or “one sent forth” as an ambassador of the Gospel. An apostle is a minister sent directly by God to do a specific work. A number of the saints of God and even Jesus himself were called apostles in the New Testament. The Apostle is defined as a messenger, and yet the same description is almost given to the Evangelist too, the difference is the word special is added to the Apostle.. Even the office of elders is mis-defined today, and is limited to being pastors, and spiritual guides, when we all can know that in the new testament, the apostles, and prophets, were also called elders now.,.. not just the pastors or evangelists, teachers.. In the he New testament Evangelists, plural term too, they were also healers, not just preachers, traveling missionaries. Read the Bible for yourself and see this fact, truth. (Rom 16:7 KJV) Salute Andronicus and Junia, my kinsmen, and my fellow prisoners, who are of note among the apostles, who also were in Christ before me. Imagine that Junia is a woman, and is proclaimed to be an additional apostle as well…

As far as I am concerned a Women can be a Church Pastor if she has her husband’s permission.. and even  the vice president of the United States, or a President. We can use more Women like her now in Canadian Politics for it has been too clearly evident that the men have not being doing a good enough job or we would not be having so many minority governments, and useless elections in Canada.

In the Old Testament Miriam was a prophetess (Exodus 15:20) as was Huldah (2 Kings 22:14) and Noadiah (Neh. 6:14).  Prophetesses from God spoke with authority and was ordained by God that they did so.  But, most pertinent to the topic at hand is Deborah who was a judge in Israel (Judges 4:4-5).  Deborah exercised governmental power over the nation of Israel.  She was most definitely in a place of authority over men in government and there is no condemnation of her being a judge found anywhere in scripture.

But, some might ask if Deborah was in a place of authority in Israel, why can’t a woman be in a place of authority in the church?

(1 Tim. 3:2; Titus 1:6).  Also, 1 Tim. 2:11-12 says, “Let a woman quietly receive instruction with entire submissiveness. 12 But I do not allow a woman to teach or exercise authority over a man, but to remain quiet. 13 For it was Adam who was first created, and then Eve.”

(Rom 16:7 KJV)  Salute Andronicus and Junia, my kinsmen, and my fellowprisoners, who are of note among the apostles, who also were in Christ before me.

Well anyway there was a women Apostle, Junia, note worthy too amongst the Apostles, and she had a place of authority.. an apostle is a Missionary.. women can be mssionaries on the foreign mission field.. but not in a local church? it all sounds confusing to me too.

I thought that Christian women also were not allowed to have short hair cuts, and what do husbands allow it in the  church now too?  A variety of more fundamental Christian religions discourage short hair on women, some congregations prohibit hair cuts beyond a trim for women. It tends to vary congregation to congregation; as opposed to being an aspect of a particular denomination. I know the belief is based on passages in the old testament, likely the those that indicate that women should not try to look like men. These denominations also tend to prohibit pants on women, jewelry beyond a watch and wedding band, make-up, etc. Are they extremists or legalists too?

I want you to realize that the head of every man is Christ, and the head of the woman is man, and the head of Christ is God. 4 Every man who prays or prophesies with his head covered dishonors his head. 5 And every woman who prays or prophesies with her head uncovered dishonors her head—it is just as though her head were shaved. 6 If a woman does not cover her head, she should have her hair cut off; and if it is a disgrace for a woman to have her hair cut or shaved off, she should cover her head. 7 A man ought not to cover his head, since he is the image and glory of God; but the woman is the glory of man. 8 For man did not come from woman, but woman from man; 9 neither was man created for woman, but woman for man. 10 For this reason, and because of the angels, the woman ought to have a sign of authority on her head.
11 In the Lord, however, woman is not independent of man, nor is man independent of woman. 12 For as woman came from man, so also man is born of woman. But everything comes from God. 13 Judge for yourselves: Is it proper for a woman to pray to God with her head uncovered? 14 Does not the very nature of things teach you that if a man has long hair, it is a disgrace to him, 15 but that if a woman has long hair, it is her glory? For long hair is given to her as a covering. 16 If anyone wants to be contentious about this, we have no other practice—nor do the churches of God. I Corinthians 11:3-6

1 Cor. 11:2-16 – essentially, women should cover their heads in church, and men should not. Some interpret this as being a thing of long vs. short hair.

1 Peter 3:3 – women shouldn’t put too much emphasis on outer beauty, like braiding their hair.

One of the most popular views today is that the head covering was actually the woman’s hair. The exegesis of the text that adopts this view keys in on verse 15. “…but that if a woman has long hair, it is her glory? For long hair is given to her as a covering.”  It is quite plain.

It reveals that the early generation of believers understood the head covering to be a cloth veil—not long hair. As Tertullian quoted in an earlier post indicated, even the women who did not wish to follow Paul’s teaching were not claiming that Paul was talking about long hair. Rather, they simply wore a small cloth in minimal obedience to his teaching.

Numbers 6:1-21 – Nazarite vow – the Nazarite shaves his head at the beginning of the vow, and then cannot cut his hair for the duration of the vow. The character Samson (as in Samson and Delilah) was a Nazarite. in Numbers 6: 5,6, and 13 we read, “All the days of the vow of his separation there shall no razor come upon his head: until the days be fulfilled, in the which he separateth himself unto the Lord, he shall be holy, and shall let the locks of the hair of his head grow. All the days that he separateth himself unto the lord he shall come at no dead body. and this is the law of the Nazarite, when the days of his separation are fulfilled: he shall be brought unto the door of the tabernacle of the congregation.”

or was it men not being allowed to have long hair?  I Corinthians 11:14 says, “Doth not even nature itself teach you, that, if a man have long hair, it is a shame unto him?”

.

Has God called pastors to be CEOs of religious organizations, or has he called men to be spiritual leaders over the churches of Christ? Neither… the elders run the church, and pastors are just one of the many church elders.. Even if she is a woman,, BASED ON ISOLATED, DISTORTED VERSES SOME PERSONS WOULD HAVE US MAKE a false Positive Confession of our faith. God still Is Not A Respecter of Persons is a truth we need to always remember too    https://witnessed.wordpress.com/2009/07/20/kathryn-kuhlman/

Elections Canada 2008

https://thenonconformer.wordpress.com/2008/12/11/it-is-still-canadas-prime-minister-stephen-harper-who-is-undemocratic/

Canada’s new Conservative Prime Minister Stephen Harper, one step forward and two steps backwards,  has too often  shown he will do anything to cling to power, he cannot be trusted to keep his promises. Prime Minister Stephen Harper, supposedly weary of waiting for the opposition to bring down his minority government, broke  his own promises of a fixed election date and pulled the election plug himself Sunday to end 31 months of the new Conservative rule.  This move sends Canadians to the polls for the third time in four years. And they likely will return anyway another new minority government but anyway it will be good to see some of the present pretentious, useless federal cabinet Ministers and their associates lose their jobs.. especially all those friends they had hired now and had lying said they would not too.. so what else is new. As you can see by many many internet posts, I for one have dealt with many of them, and they were almost all clearly useless, pretentious, inadequate..  the Conservatives are known to be liars, not just alcoholics? Against the backdrop of a clearly weakening economy, Harper asked Gov. Gen. Michaelle Jean to dissolve Canada’s 39th Parliament so that a national vote can be held Oct. 14 — the day after Thanksgiving.

What we all do need to be reminded of what we are not thankful for.. the too often more broken promises by liars for we still seem to elect Liars into office, and I hope we can break this tradition soon! And please do stop electing the clearly pretend Christians now as well for Prime Ministers too.
