and the Quebec corruption gravy train went on and on.

In Canada, especially in Ontario and Ontario, we do even  have  a very great problem with the treatment of older patients in the hospital

Dr. Nataros  claims that members of the McGill Faculty of Medicine are attempting to defame his name  because he reported an incident in which serious errors were made by senior doctors. Nataros says that the incident, which took place in November 2012, and is still under investigation by an independent ombudsmen, had near fatal consequences. “It was more than just the wrong treatment, there was a missed diagnosis that made it infinitely worse and the patient almost died,” said Nataros. “It was only very quick treatment and a transfer to a tertiary care centre that saved that patient’s life.” According to Dr. Nataros, his decision to report the errors made by senior physicians prompted these doctors to target him with a barrage of personal attacks. He notes that in a meeting last December, two of the physicians arrived with numerous letters collected from different doctors stating that they found it difficult to work with Dr. Nataros. “The accusations were that ‘Alex is challenging; ‘Alex is argumentative;’ ‘Alex does not respect authority,’” said Dr. Nataros. “But, there has never been an issue with my clinical competency or my patient care.” …

Quebec’s anti-corruption task force suspects Porter and four high-profile  executives involved in the construction of the McGill University Superhospital  were part of a massive fraud conspiracy.UPAC issued arrest warrants Wednesday morning for Arthur Porter, Pierre  Duhaime, Riadh Ben Aissa, Yanai Elbaz , Jeremy Morris. UPAC confirmed  Wednesday that Elbaz – the former associate director general of the MUHC – is in  custody and will be charged Thursday. Duhaime — the former CEO of SNC-Lavalin – will turn himself in to Surete du  Quebec headquarters Thursday morning, He has already been charged with fraud. Ben  Aissa — another former executive at SNC-Lavalin — has already been arrested  and questioned by police for his possible role in other plots. All five are wanted for fraud, conspiracy to commit fraud, and related charges.

MONTREAL — A phone conversation involving a senior executive at engineering  giant SNC-Lavalin provided one of the first clues that Montreal’s new McGill  University Health Centre superhospital was at the centre of an intricate bribery  scheme.   During the taped conversation, Ben Aïssa — then the head of SNC-Lavalin’s  construction division — was also heard referencing the use of a “contract” to  disguise money transfers involving the Canadian hospital. That contract, which  involved a Bahamas-based company called Sierra Asset Management, was worth $30  million. Ben Aïssa was allegedly recorded saying that “only 22 (million) was  paid.”  “It has been shown that this money, attributed in (company) accounts to a gas  project in Algeria, served materially to influence Quebec bureaucrats with a  view to awarding the contract for the modernization of the MUHC to SNC-Lavalin,”  wrote Sûreté du Québec Sgt. Jean-Frédérick Gagnon

MONTREAL —Arthur Porter’s arrest in Panama was the main topic of discussion at MUHC  hospitals  again. Maybe  the arrest  of the former boss will finally clear up unanswered questions about the  financial mismanagement at the MUHC and the alleged fraud in the awarding of the  superhospital contract.  Many nurses blame Porter, the former CEO of the MUHC, for the financial mess  that has resulted in budget cuts, job losses and bumping, which has been  terrible for morale,

“I work at the McGill General – the administrative staff is a NIGHTMARE – they run the  hospital. They run the nurses, the support staff, the DOCTORS. Why? Because they  have a strong union. You say one negative comment their way and all of a sudden  you are sitting with a lawyer, a union rep, and they have disappeared for 3  months of “burnout leave”.. they have no idea what a real burnout is.  Everyone,  including doctors, are afraid to say the wrong word in the fear of losing their  job, their license, their reputation as medical PROFESSIONALS.  And it’s these  same secretaries who will tell their patients the “stupid doctor is an hour  late” … when in fact the doctor just ran out of an emergency case cause their  was no doctor available there and the secretary was too lazy to find out where  the doctor actually was.  I could give many a horror story.”

“It’s the McGll pencil pushers who are deciding where to cut and obviously each and  every one of them is necessary to deliver health care; at least in their oun  minds. Perhaps it’s time the government hired a good management consultant  company to look at all non-medical positions at hospitals and see if they are  really necessary. There could be great savings to be poured back in to real  health care.’ “Now rather get rid of 18 administrative pencil pushers instead of the nurses.  Nurses are  needed more than the administrative pencil pushers  and the administrator earn  more than the nurses… .this is a HOSPITAL,  we need nurses  ! ! ! ”   “It’s a huge shame that in the end, it’s the lower employees who suffer, and  most importantly, the patients are paying for it.” “Fire the administrators responsible for this mess, not nurses who actually do  useful work.”

The least needed remain untouched while the most needed are cut. McGll’s Mr Rinfret has  been at Porter elbow through this whole mess making sure the right people were  met and the right doors opened, how he is still there(or actually promoted) is  amazing!

I’ve never felt more sick about living in Montreal, than I do. While healthcare  (and education) are seriously underfunded, we are overtaxed. While the average  citizen suffers, the corrupt politicians, the engineers, the city bureaucrats  and the mob prosper. Taxpayer money ends up stuffed in political party safes, in  off-shore accounts and mafia coffers. I only wish that the Harper Feds would  step in and seize control of Quebec and Montreal. Our municipal and provincial  leaders have sold us down the drain and we have let them get away with this.  Quebec has more similarities with a third world country than it does with the  Western world and I doubt it will ever change. I just want to get out of here  and never come back, even to visit.

Look I had said it a long time ago here in writing that McGill administrators likley run their hospitals the same way  It seems all the McGill adminstrators, negotiators can do is to make problems worse or call the Police The McGill administrators in reality very likley run their hospitals and patients the same way.. very poorly and inadequate.
MONTREAL — Six Montreal physicians and professors of medicine are speaking out against the way the McGill University Health Centre is run, charging that the MUHC has become “dysfunctional,” that its academic teaching mission is being given short shrift and that the superhospital planning is a mess. Dissident group notes that the $1.3-billion super hospital under construction in Notre-Dame-de-Grâce will not be equipped with teaching rooms or an auditorium for medical students and, as a result, “teaching facilities may have to be rented to give lectures.”

“Furthermore, it is clear that the superhospital will be a smaller building with fewer beds and resources,” the group adds. “Many services have been abandoned, outpatient facilities will be minimal and many medical units still have no idea of how they will be accommodated in the new hospital. The health implications of these changes in hospital function have not yet been addressed.”

Dr. David Morris, a professor of medicine, obstetrics and gynecology at McGill  said in an interview. “These disasters do not occur overnight.” Dr. Andrey Cybulsky, chief of nephrology at the MUHC, said he decided to sign the comment piece because he objects to the MUHC’s “top-down planning process without really much consultation.” its.

Gwendolyn Nacos, a member of the board of directors who was elected by the population, declined to comment on the letter, saying the policy of the board does not allow for individual members to comment to the news media.

The other signatories to the open letter are Dr. Barry Posner, director of the polypeptide hormone laboratory at McGill; Dr. Mark Sherman, interim director of endocrinology at the MUHC; and Dr. Walter Gregory; a senior physician at the MUHC.

Not much of a surprise? The tip of the iceberg is being revealed only as  the overall depth of corruption will take much more time apparently to uncover, corruptions that likely permeates the whole project. Birds of feathers tend to flock together. And no one should tell us that  these initial suspected persons, now  were even  just isolated individuals acting on their own without the vast help and knowledge of any others now too. Higher education never insures one’s good moral standings.

Premier P Marois,  Quebec government’s proposal  to create a new watchdog to oversee universities  and Hospitals now as well is valid, natural..  as some of the biggest crooks are even the educated folks..  and our Doctors, Nurses, Hospitals and the Police, RCMP are also now very poorly managed too ALL AT THE TAXPAYER’S EXPENSES.

MONTREAL – Former executive committee chair Frank Zampino was, for a time, the most powerful man in Montreal, according to the latest witness Rosaire Sauriol  at the Charbonneau Commission — Rosaire Sauriol a witness who may have exerted considerable influence of his own at city hall. the inquiry lawyer Denis Gallant suggested that Sauriol was a major player in that  system and the true second-in-command to Zampino.

The province’s corruption inquiry has heard that crooked financing schemes also  permeated the federal level, via testimony Wednesday from a repentant  construction-industry executive.

The federal Transport minister asks for review of possible ethics breach by even  a federal judge

” What is important here is that he testified that same schemes of illegal political financing, collusion, bid rigging, fraud , breach of trust, price fixing, were also going on on Federal level!          So this means that probably millions of federal tax dollars were also stolen and that illegal donations were also practiced on federal level at the time!!!! Where is the RCMP? “

The already proven cost ineffective RCMP likely or clearly has also abused often taxpayer’s funds itself so it is, was in no position to investigate others.. these corruptions have been on going the last 50 years with the useless Montreal, Quebec and the RCMP police likely part of the problem.. sleeping with the enemy.

But do note this the bad Police are still very capable of arresting the poor helpless, defenceless students.. this week 60 arrested in Montreal as tuition protests resume .. so it is no wonder  students despise the police and governments.

Time for us all to fight to lower police costs Canada wide, RCMP included

Police  Managers, Politicians,  Police  Unions, the Police themselves are  Facing  Nation Wide Outrage , Public Anger, as  Canada wide there is an UNDENIABLE  problem in how the police do their jobs. Police officers do not only need to maintain the respect and good will of citizens to do their job effectively, they also depend on that good will in political battles over salary, pensions and benefits, in which they have been far more successful than other public employees in recent years.  The lack of trust of police by the minority community is also unacceptable.  When Police enforcement goes bad, the police and the police unions historically close ranks around suspect officers   Police PR and Police cover-ups will not do.  It is important for the police unions,  Police managers  to become honestly self-critical about police conduct and to not blindly defend each and every egregious incident by officers. And the criminal justice system should be doing what it was supposed to do,  carry out real, valid police justice.
It is an undeniable fact that the New Conservatives had said elect us and we will next show you an honest government, accountable, transparent as well but as we all tend to know next that was a big lie now too.. They clearly are not part of the  solutions to the much too many corruptions ongoing in Canada but clearly rather a part of the problem in that they and the RCMP for sure have failed to properly address the much too many  corruptions..
Yes, we all can easily know that corruption has even plagued Quebec ( not just Ontario too)  at multi levels in City Halls. Hospitals, etc., from the top down to the bottom and for a very long time over 50 years.. Obviously nothing has changed.. because the watchdogs did nothing good about it.. the police, RCMP included also were, are themselves as bad as ever here.. the fiascos go on and on.. Money generating Speeding and parking tickets were their main Police occupations it seems.   It is sad that Job preservation was too often the false reason why most of the ostrich  employees also had went along with the vast corruptions instead of opposing it.. all it took for evil to triumph was for the good people to do nothing about it.

” Turns out that every aspect of Quebec public service is completely corrupt. Unfortunately, it is not just the city of Montreal that needs more investigation, it is:

– the SQ for giving themselves illegal bonuses and shutting down investigations that touch the “gouvernement national”.

– The MUC police force, and their contracts between Yvan Delorme and BCIA

– Union Montreal. It appears that at their fundraisers, they sometimes keep part or all of the money.

– We can look forward to “the corruption float” this Sunday which will be led by Montreal’s new mayor mayor Michael “I swear I am not under investigation” Applebaum.

PS: Merci to the SQ for tipping off the mayor about current UPAQ investigations.  Obviously nothing has changed..”

“Spending on policing has increased steadily while the volume and severity of reported crime have both been on the decline” even or has the police falsely rather discouraged the reporting of the crimes firstly?
Two police officers have been judged to be in breach of 4 code of ethics clearly  criminal charges. Why were their names not released?  and what if  when the same  police officers punch  someone it an ethics violation but if a citizen does  do the same, its an Assault conviction with a criminal record?

OTTAWA — A new report by a respected international human rights watchdog has accused RCMP officers of abusing aboriginal women and girls in northern British Columbia.

Human rights group says RCMP, native relationship ‘dysfunctional’ -A number of women interviewed by Human Rights Watch researchers alleged that RCMP officers used excessive force in arresting them, mistreated them while they were in custody and, in some cases, physically or sexually assaulted them. Many of the aboriginal women he spoke with did not trust police and felt little confidence that any complaints would be addressed. He said he was surprised to find that the fear of police expressed by some of the women was comparable with what he has seen in post-conflict situations in countries such as Iraq and Libya.

Ottawa Mountie, held on child abuse charges, faces: Three counts of aggravated assault. Three counts of assault with a weapon. One count of aggravated sexual assault. One count of failing to provide the necessaries of life. One count of forcible confinement.

RCMP has a bullying problem, watchdog says. Commission chairman Ian McPhail said about 90 per cent of the complaints involved bullying. Only four per cent of the complaints dealt with sexual harassment, A national police force where abuse of authority is possibly a systemic problem means a really bad Police force!  and  the simple perception of a continual pattern of poor treatment of employees is enough to rattle all public confidence in   RCMP and severely already tarnished the force’s reputation. Instead of them all talking about the problems, do something How about some real solutions to problems within the RCMP?  Real Accountability instead of cover-ups and transfers, real punishments now too, Punishments that fit the crime  plus no more two or three year plus investigations into wrong-doing.  about the RCMP.

The former commander of the RCMP detachment in Merritt appears in provincial  court in Kelowna , charged with the theft of drugs from a police evidence  locker.

it’s time the RCMP looked at the questionable spending practices – their own and the others …

The Public Safety Minister Mr. Vic Toews gave a speech the last month in which he questioned the spiralling costs of policing. Most policemen and their managers  are still really cost ineffective It is really Time to fight to lower police costs Canada wide, the RCMP included even by an clearly, enforced effective cost control framework ensures that no one rewards themselves at public expense,  that  ensures that the public is getting the most for its money, ensures  that all expense and travel claims are appropriate and handled with a high level of transparency and accountability.  And here too an example needs to be made of all those who abuse the expense account or sign off on illegitimate expenses by even make such acts criminal plus having the guilty individual return the stolen money. Thousands or millions of dollars abused are an enormous amount of money, and to not have adequate, stringent cost controls in place by now  is an unacceptable  failure of any  leadership on all the part of the governments , ministers, mayors, administrators .
By the way the people who make false expense statements are also guilty now of tax evasion
Follow the money trail, the oldest rule of good journalism and why is that so? as the love of money is the root of ell evil still..  He or she who cannot be trusted to handle money cannot be trusted to handle anything else now too.People in leadership office do have to face higher penalties as an example now too. It is clearly established, accepted fact by most people that those in leadership civil and public servants cops, teachers, ministers, politicians included  are always to be exemplary in behavior,  conduct and they do need to maintain their high standards even out of their working hours, thus to do so they are also to be exemplary  judged, prosecuted  for their own wrong doings with a higher standard over those of us ordinary folks.
Now “it’s true that police costs in general, and police salaries in particular, are out of control. Total spending on police services nationally has doubled since 1997, reaching $12-billion. While the average Canadian income has grown by 11 per cent over the past decade, the average police salary has grown by 40 per cent. Policing is doing to municipal budgets what health care is doing to provincial budgets: threatening to consume them.” Both need better cost control management too..
Police chiefs from across Canada are being urged to look at radical new approaches to public safety as they struggle to meet growing demands to keep their budgets in check

The cost of policing cannot continue to rise indefinitely in Canada, or cities will end up bankrupt. Pools, camps, parks and libraries will have to close. Police in England and several U.S. cities have already undertaken drastic and innovative reforms to transform the delivery of law enforcement for a modern era  This has not yet happened in Canada. But there is no time to waste.

The being politically correct sickness.

Nazis were both liars and control freaks and there are many of those people around today

Free speech is still only mostly available to the BIG crooks , bad pastors or the   people with loads of money, influential  friends, or the persons who hold a political office  it seems, and for the bad cops as well.. and by the way for all the liars as well it seems..

More and more Canadians are going online for their news now falsely do expect to be able to interact with the posted stories they read by posting their own responses and engaging the  fellow readers in a two way dialogue. But such a democratic dream now has quickly and clearly become a myth.. For there is no longer any such thing as free speech on many internet sites, even newspapers unless it is your own, because more and more sites, Editors,  Moderators and web editors  do all  want to be firstly pleasing to others, politically correct as well mainly  to draw and attract masses. And this is all done by censoring out the disturbing or dissenting voices now .. even if they may make some sense. And they as a result will black list next , even lie against a supposedly offensive poster. Toeing the party line, the police command, or being politically correct these days is still often more   important to them overall over honesty, justice, serving for the good welfare of others.

Boss pleasing, extreme advancement oriented, profit or personal income oriented mainly do  define their ultraistic motives basically for their often censorships.

These same Control freaks tend to find out that things mostly  do not go the way they want, and generally fail in their endevours as a result.

“Let favour be shewed to the wicked, yet will he not learn righteousness: in the land of uprightness will he deal unjustly, and will not behold the majesty of the LORD.” Isaiah 26:10, KJV

Jeremiah 5: 25 Your iniquities have turned away these things, and your sins have withholden good things from you.26 For among my people are found wicked men: they lay wait, as he that setteth snares; they set a trap, they catch men.27 As a cage is full of birds, so are their houses full of deceit: therefore they are become great, and waxen rich.28 They are waxen fat, they shine: yea, they overpass the deeds of the wicked: they judge not the cause, the cause of the fatherless, yet they prosper; and the right of the needy do they not judge.29 Shall I not visit for these things? saith the LORD: shall not my soul be avenged on such a nation as this? 30 A wonderful and horrible thing is committed in the land;31 The prophets prophesy falsely, and the priests bear rule by their means; and my people love to have it so: and what will ye do in the end thereof?

(Micah 2:8 KJV) Even of late my people is risen up as an enemy: ye pull off the robe with the garment from them that pass by securely as men averse from war.

Some people we know seem to have too many bad personal days so they falsely try to take it on those around them..  Those unacceptable persons, the oppressors, bullies, abusers, control freaks, liars, slanderers, jungle fighters.. who are clearly still even lost.. they need to change themselves solely and not work on changing  the others. Most of these people trying to change others themselves are even still really big liars still too, the average person  is immoral and lies once very 8 minutes, lie to themselves and others, but some are much more liars, they lie as to why they do things now too.

1 John 3: 18 My little children, let us not love in word, neither in tongue; but in deed and in truth.

(Rom 12:18 KJV) If it be possible, as much as lieth in you, live peaceably with all men.

(Heb 12:14 KJV) Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord:

(1 Cor 13:1 KJV)  Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, and have not charity, I am become as sounding brass, or a tinkling cymbal.  2 And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries, and all knowledge; and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, and have not charity, I am nothing

Human beings have this tendency to get the wrong values or to  go to false inbalance, extremes as well in real life..

One thing for sure I have observed that where there are sheep now there are also many wolves, for where there are real Christians there are also the the pretenders amongst them now, today as well. The pretender, imposter, wolf in sheep clothing do now show up for all kind of reasons even to seduce the sheep. They masquerade as helpers, pastors,, assistant pastors, elders, youth ministers, Bible college students now as well.  (Mat 7:20 KJV) Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.

It is an accurate assessment that 80 percent of all persons suffer from having a very poor self worth, a poor self esteem of themselves and they feel guilty, depressed over it, not knowing what to do cause their humanistic endeavors at self improvement tend to fail them..

Likely 20 percent of all persons are a TROUBLE MAKER, they are an aggressive bully while the rest, 80 percent are a TIMID SHEEP, over fearful, overly submissive. We often do meet the loud mouthed trouble makers in many places, such as on the net, on the street, in churches now too but we also do encounter those overly timid, overly fearful, cowardly persons sadly now.

Most people fail to realize that they do even still now need to have a balance of their life of being “assertive”, as well as being “submissive”, and being unbalanced in one or the other is not a positive aspect still as well. And what about you now too? what are you really like.. overly assertive or overly submissive..

It is very likely that 20 percent of persons tend to have an exaggerated  opinion of themselves, an unreal  one, and they think they can readily teach others meaning acting like basic dictators, lords. oppressors over others, they are actually bullying others? In the process both of these inbalanced groups tend to try to teach others when clearly they themselves still do  have a lot to learn.. and the bullies need to take the beam out of their own eyes.. including learning humility.. for God really still hates the proud hearted persons..

It has been amazing to me that, as I look back into my own life, half of the oppressions I have witnessed in my life, and any oppression all of it tends to be an unacceptable human rights abuse now too, all oppressions are still unacceptable , these oppressions now came from the least expected places, from the Bullies within the church , even from bad pastors, bad elders, bad deacons, and also within my related control freaked or despotic family members, all now proving to me that many of these professing Christians persons were still not real Christians in fact. The other half of the oppressions, and all of it too was unacceptable, came from fellow employees, bad contacts, acquaintances, neighbour, civil and public servants, cops, RCMP.

Now even the Bible, the New testament says we all can take turn to speak, and to be heard, and others are to even judge what is said..  but clearly some people falsely think they area God who are always right and are the only ones allowed to be heard..

Being nice. kind, friendly to a really bad person is still also a complete waste of time, for they will not change their negative behaviors on their own, they see no reasons to do so now still too. Sad but true. We cannot never control a bad person, a drug addict or an alcoholic, but we can learn all about it and learn firstly to control our own behavior, appropriate responses –including how we should behave in the relationship with the sick and suffering and /or possibly manipulative addict or alcoholic, abuser..

In fact it is next impossible for anyone to try to   change others without some form of negative chastisements it seems. Especially in Dealing effectively with the bad Person, Stressful person- Alcoholics, Bullies, Abusers, Control freaks …

Public exposure and prosecution of these guilty persons serves everyone’s best interest..

“We cannot trust the RCMP, or the Military too now?

Public exposure and prosecution of the guilty is one of the best approach serving everyone’s best interest too. It is a clearly established fact with good basis as to why our Canadian leaders, politicians, police, military, public and civil servants  who are always to be exemplary are even personally are to held to a higher standard, accountability in reality.

People in leadership office do have to face higher penalties as an example now too.

Too many police officers are now too often guilty of their most serious neglect of public trust and their duty. The related truth is that neither an independent police investigation, a new police commissioner,  a promised provincial or federal investigation, or just more politicians promises too often still   will not bring the much needed justice. All of the governments can prohibit the initial and further employment of any known racists for any jobs, and can  punish them for their racists acts, views. Police managers continue to promise the reforming of bad cops and the bad cops keep killing, abusing  innocent persons. The possible retaining of bad  police officers is always anyway a false myth. What thus is always needed is the real  the dismissal, criminal prosecution, of the guilty cops. So where is it? Speeding is not the main cause of car accidents, impaired driving is, but too many cops are alcoholics it seems who wrongfully do sympathize with drunks and as a result do not arrest drunks all year

There are approximately 16,000 police officers and military personnel at the Olympics, including 6,000 police officers from 118 departments across the country.  Now 11 police officers and members of the Canadian Forces have been dismissed from their posts with the Integrated Security Unit, an RCMP-led joint police, military and security force overseeing the Olympic Winter Games, for improper conduct, breaches of “ethics and values”and there have been no names released, no arrests and no charges and the investigations are ongoing supposedly. Four Canadian Forces personnel and seven police officers from the RCMP-led Integrated Security Unit responsible for protecting the Vancouver Games have been sent home for code-of-conduct violations. And Vancouver Police say they are investigating two members of the unit, also known as the ISU, in connection to incidents that occurred in the City of Vancouver. No further details of the allegations were released.  Representatives of the Integrated Security Unit said that seven police officers have been sent home for code-of-conduct issues, but had next declined to elaborate.

These are all professionals? In name only it seems too often now. The  Police as typical of course have not released details about the investigations of other police officers. ISU spokesman Staff Sgt. Mike Cote wouldn’t give any further details on the two police investigations, but says the other code of conduct cases could range from not showing up for work to drinking. ” Speaking from experience , I was at the Whistler village doing security work and was working 12 hours a day,.. I had to give up my position there and return home because of the housing situation,. I was sharing with four other guards. The partying and carrying on at night time effected my ability to preform my job properly. They thought it was a big joke and party time. So I walked away from what was spouse to be a great experience with a very bad taste left in my mouth” The bulk of the security force is housed in cruise ships berthed at the Ballantyne Pier in east Vancouver for the duration of the Games. One BILLION dollars and we get this and it is still a ludicrous amount of money.  What a waste of tax dollars.  and do not forget the incompetent management overhead, for personal expenses too, and included the phony receipts too, plus included all the money that is diverted elsewhere before it even reaches the project as usual.. Putting money in a pail full of holes is always still a bad practice, and the Liberals, Conservatives had promised us a better government? Any suckers to buy Brooklyn Bridge again too?  Many are already getting realy tired about hearing reading too often about bad cops. In any case, hiding what actually happened from the public is pretty much normal.  We are used to that. ” ” Dishonest in the small things = Dishonest in the large things. What else are they ‘HIDING’ from the public? ” “How many more corrupt cops do we need to hear about before somebody somewhere has the balls to do something about it? ” All of this is a typical bad nightmare again.. and the RCMP lying  spin doctors, bad managers  will say it all not that bad again too.. Likley again just the small tipi of a huge icberg of corruptions.. RCMP included

Former CO and subordinate charged in sex case The Canadian Press – Tue Jul 13, 12:10 AM  OTTAWA – The chief of the defence staff is battling immorality in the ranks as the former commander of Canada’s troops in Afghanistan and a female subordinate face charges from their sexual liaison. The Canadian Forces National Investigation Service launched an investigation shortly after Master-Cpl. Bianka Langlois acknowledged she had an affair with Brig.-Gen. Daniel Menard in Afghanistan. Menard, married with two children, faces two counts of conduct to the prejudice of good order and discipline under the military’s fraternization regulations. The 26-year veteran has also been charged with one count of obstructing justice and a separate count of conduct to the prejudice of good order and discipline. Langlois has been charged with one count of conduct to the prejudice of good order and discipline, also related to military fraternization regulations.  “Canadian Forces are held to a high standard of values, morals and ethics,”   ” leaders who have failed to live up to the standards expected by the men and women in uniform under their command are being held accountable.”

OTTAWA – The most senior ranking Canadian military officer in Haiti has been relieved of command and is the subject of an investigation. Col. Bernard Ouellette, who doubles as the chief of staff to the United Nations mission in the earthquake-battered country, is facing several allegations — including that he was involved in an inappropriate relationship. The case is in the hands of military police. The latest case comes as the military continues to investigate Brig.-Gen. Daniel Menard, who was stripped of command in Afghanistan for allegedly having an inappropriate relationship with a female subordinate.  The allegations against Ouellette could only heap more tarnish on the military, which also faced heavy criticism last winter for not spotting, among the myriad of psychological tests, potential problems with Col. Russ Williams. The former commander of the country’s busiest air base was accused in the murders of two Ontario women. Ouellette has a Master’s of Arts in war studies from the Royal Military College in Kingston Ont., and a Bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Quebec.

In the last 10 years, crime rates have fallen roughly 27 per cent but costs have risen 44 per cent in policing and 33 per cent in corrections. Our prisoner population has managed to stay constant.  Is that a paradox? Or is that because those in the system are smart enough to ensure they all keep working and our prisons remain full, even though there are far fewer crimes. Also the report notes “the most embarrassing lacunae in Canadian data” is the lack of useful information on our courts — “we have no systemic way of assessing whether the courts are getting more or less effective in dealing with the cases that they see, let alone understanding how much as a society we are paying. For a developed nation, this is disappointing to say the least … How bad is it?”  It’s appalling — even mischief cases take more than half a year on average to process.  First Nations represent about four per cent of the population but more and more of them are being imprisoned — from 13 per cent of the offenders in custody in 1998 to 20 per cent a decade later. In Saskatchewan, 80 per cent of inmates are native. In Manitoba it’s 70 per cent, in (Racists) Alberta 40 per cent.In those three provinces, aboriginal people also are least likely to be given probation or conditional sentences.  That is a major scandal that demands investigation..

The RCMP received almost 13,000 formal public complaints since 2010, but the force rejected 90% of them and the high rejection rate for complaints undermines citizens’ confidence in the force.

In our series of stories about dealings with the Osoyoos RCMP, one theme is consistent: the people were all disappointed with the formal process to complain about the conduct of RCMP members.

Hundreds of complaints filed against RCMP after Elsipogtog fracking blockade

The Roman Catholic bishop for the diocese in Grand Falls says he pushed to get police to investigate complaints against two priests in his area.

So hundreds of complaints of sexual and workplace harassment filed in recent years by female Mounties – including an ongoing class-action lawsuit by more than 330 past and present sworn officers and civilian employees..In some past cases, even when harassment, bullying or abuse was admitted, male officers received relatively minor punishment while female victims were subsequently cold-shouldered by their mostly male colleagues for speaking out and sought transfers or quit.

And I am not convinced that our too often rather incompetent, racist , cost ineffective  national police, security forces, RCMP included now are capable of dealing with the Muslims terrorists especially  since they clearly cannot speak Russian or Arabic or any other foreign languages  for the most part still.
