The Quebec Liberals and City of Montreal now had the police looking in the wrong place too

Now  this year, the City of Montreal revealed, through an access to information request, that the student protests had cost the city more than $11.6 million in overtime just in the Month  of Aug. All this wasted expenditure  while major rampant corruption was being carried out next to the Justice center, police station all  unstopped and unchecked, the foxes in the Montreal City Hall were continuing to steal money from the taxpayers and City Hall executives, personnel falsely went along with it?

.

The Students next had anway  won still and got their Justice and now we need real justice in our City Halls… and in the meat plants now too

NOTHING HAS REALY CHANGED IN OTTAWA AND ELSEWHERE

NO ONE CARES ABOUT THE GOOD WELFARE OF THE CITIZENS AS HISTORY REPEATS  ITSELF AND CANADIANS FALSELY DIE AS A RESULT..

.

The governments double speak, lying  engines are at work
1. It’s not Ministers’ or any Civil servants’  fault.
2. It’s not at all the governments’ fault.
3. It’s all nobodies’ fault.

.

The Conservative government, under fire for its response to a massive beef  recall and E. coli scare, is planning to spend tens of millions of dollars less  this year on food safety programs at the Agriculture Department and Canadian  Food Inspection Agency than last year, new numbers from Parliament’s budget  watchdog indicate.

http://www.theprovince.com/health/Harper+plans+chop+tens+millions+food+safety+programs/7340242/story.html

.

And  a useless, lying, no good Conservative Minister  is not any better over a useless, no  good, lying Liberal Minister too.

.

MONTHS LATER THE SAME OLD PROBLEMS EXISTS AND THE PM NOW STILL DOES NOT KNOW HOW MANY FOOD INSPECTORS HE HAS in Canada, 700 – or  7000..

.

.

Experts for years have been warning about the possible problems with centralized mega slaughterhouses and packing plants, and self regulation in this industry.  Despite this fact, the Conservatives have forged ahead supporting those in Alberta who would create such centralized mega operations and did even let them have legalized self regulation. Now we see the results of such short sighthed Conservtive thinking at the Alberta XL Plant. . At the outbreak of Ecoli at the pXL plant  XL foods itself now did not follow at least six safety protocols. One dealt with E. coli controls in the plant, and the others focused on plant sanitation and maintenance issues.. Were else will the Conservative approach cause unnecessary death, pain and misery now too? The U.S. closed its border to shipments from the XL Foods plant in Brooks, Alta. after discovering E. coli in two samples of beef. It’s going to affect the whole beef industry.

.

The Conservative government said it had enough inspectors at the XL site but now it turns out that our federal Food safety agency can’t compel records from the companies so our Canadian Food Inspection Agency had long delays in getting records in this XL E. coli case . The Canadian Food Inspection Agency officials had asked the XL Foods plant in Brooks, Alta., for distribution information and test results for all products made on the same days as E. coli-tainted samples but only got some of these results days later.. they couldn’t get them right away. On Sept. 13, the CFIA banned XL Foods from shipping any more meat to the U.S. but wrongfully they didn’t alert the Canadian public until Sept. 16. The governments were even  too quick to assure Canadians their food was safe, in the face next of a major meat recall. The recall of beef possibly tainted by E. coli now affects 1,500 products processed at the plant and hits stores in every province and territory, as well as in 41 American states..
http://www.cbc.ca/news/politics/story/2012/10/03/pol-gerry-ritz-agriculture-minister-xl-foods-beef-recall.html

.

Canadian Officials say they were alerted on Sept. 4 to a positive E. coli test in beef shipped to the United States, but recalls in Canada didn’t start until Sept. 16.

.

Despite having more than 46 inspectors providing oversight at the facility,  the first indications of the recent problems didn’t come to CFIA’s attention  until Sept. 4., when it learned of positive test results by American authorities  at the border. That same day, its own inspectors had a positive E. coli test in  a shipment sent from the Brooks facility to a small plant in Calgary.“Those first positives ought to have been a sign to the agency of the  potential for massive contamination,” the anonymous expert said.“They should have demanded that XL show them all the test results for  products from the same days immediately.

.

The procedures XL Foods Inc. was following to prevent tainted meat from reaching  store shelves may have satisfied Canadian inspectors, but they didn’t match the  industry norm and were less stringent than what American regulators now say is  needed to protect consumer
http://www.calgaryherald.com/health/Foods+testing+stringent+enough+expert+says/7328206/story.html

.

When it comes to dealing with the rightful needs, complaints of the ordinary citizens our Canadian civil and public servants, politicians and their representatives too, and most church pastors now too, they are still mostly unacceptable liars and  PRETENDERS, LAZY, GOOD FOR NOTHING PERSONS,  and that has been mostly my undeniable experiences the last 4 decades now too..  How about having now some real professionalism.
http://thenonconformer.wordpress.com/2010/11/04/cnadian-governments-ignorance/

.

Canada’s food safety regime failed us.  Across the land Canadians are scrambling to empty store shelves and fridges of beef products in one of the biggest E. coli recall scares ever. Not just ground beef, but steaks, roasts, ribs, stewing beef, sausage — the list seems endless. More than 1.5 million pounds of the stuff has been recalled.Given the scope of the scare, Agriculture Minister Gerry Ritz’s claim that Canada’s food inspection system has done a “tremendous job” grows hollower by the day. The recall list has now swelled to include 1,100 products, and the number of cases of suspected food poisoning, while fortunately small, has also been growing. This is the minister who at one point thought that no potentially tainted beef had made it to store shelves. It did, all across North America, and now there’s worry in every province and territory and many states. “How did our food safety system fail so dramatically in this case?” “Why did it take so long for Ritz to warn Canadians and issue a recall? How have recent cuts to food inspectors affected Canada’s ability to avert such a crisis? How will we prevent cases like this from occurring in the future?” These are nothing more than the questions many are asking, as they discard their beef supplies. Canadians are owed answers from Ottawa. Ottawa has put too much faith in private companies to do their own testing. Self regulation too often is still mere masturbations..not the real thing.

.

Suit filed against XL Foods An Edmonton man allegedly sickened by an E. coli-tainted steak has filed a class-action lawsuit against Alberta’s XL Foods, the beef manufacturer at the centre of the massive meat recalls across the country. The  lawsuit alleges that XL Foods processed beef products knowing it had poor quality control systems and that it put profits above the safety of consumers

.

Canada should retain the services of even more federal meat and food inspectors Canada wide in order to elevate  the quality of our food safety systems, arguing that this is only way to  effectively reduce the number of future Problems. The CFIA does not have the authority to compel the speedy  delivery of information from industry during an outbreak. Its only power is to  revoke a licence outright, which is what happened with XL Foods, in which the  CFIA clearly felt the information provided by XL Foods was unsatisfactory. Industry should be more forthcoming so the CFIA can properly manage risks to  safeguard the integrity of our food safety program. This, or the law should be  changed, for the public’s sake

October 2, 2012

Now tell us all how many of these Montreal crooks will face actual jail time and how long now as well. cops included.

All the well known now and clearly bad politicians, civil and public servants, even bad pastors  still deny their own guilt, but that realy now is no surprise, for it would be a surprise rather if they had admitted it. They still have clearly lost the respect of many citizens still.

.

UNPROSECUTED BAD CRIMMINALS ABOUND IN QUEBEC CAUSE CLEARLY ALSO OUR TOO OFTEN  BAD LEADERS, POLITICIANS, ADMINSTRATORS THEY DO NOT WANT TO PROSECUTE THEIR OWN BAD ASSOCIATES EVEN CAUSE THEY THEMSLVES LIKLEY DO THE SAME THINGS NOW?

.

Ongoing Montreal Corruptions while the Police , RCMP and the Federal, Quebec Governments did nothing about it.. Exemplary Public exposure and prosecution of the guilty serves very ones best interest… too often still missing in the PROFESSIONAL BODIES, EVEN IN THE RCMP, police   forces, churches, ALL GOVERNMENTS  as well it seems too.

HOUSE CLEANING IS STILL VERY MUCH IN ORDER

.

The federal Government, the RCMP, the Quebec Government, Sûreté du Québec should launch a full investigation into corruption at the Montreal City Hall and elswhere  Immediately.

.

Mat 7:16  Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles? 17  Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit. 18  A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit.
.
It is also  COMMON  fact of life, particularly amongst the CROOKS, OR the  young, inexperienced persons  who cannot handle serious , heavy negative realties that false denial, ostrich approach is a serious part of their make up, and their related defense protection when you cannot discredit the facts, you try to make a still fatal , false personal attack on the writer, accusers instead.
Denial of the reality, of the truth, of one’s exposure it is very very common even amongst so called professionals, even in pastors now included, when many an individual are asked to repent of their own wrong disclosed doings. One’s false denial here can be a very false disregard for facts and circumstances and a more subtle expression of ones unreal personal preferences, their now very much delusional world of fantasy. These people in false denial are the ones who often need professional help for their sickness even because they do falsely refuse to admit, to see their own bad points, and they wrongfully, clearly down to let all other persons falsely to believe they are some kind of gods, perfectionists, even persons who themselves cannot be challenged, questioned. This is more absurdity on their parts. There is no such thing as living in a world in which individuals are not being judged by others for the actions that they take or what they say or who they associate with too. Making a statement such as “you cannot judge me” is ludicrous.
.

IT IS A TOO COMMON FALSELY DENIED KNOWLEDGE THESE DAYS THAT THE POLICE, RCMP, MINISTERS, GOVERNMENT CONSULTANTS THESE DAYS, EVEN IMMIGRANT CONSULTANTS TOO IT SEEMS , SEEM TO BE ANOTHER WORD FOR ABUSERS, THIEVES, LIARS CROOKS. AND WE ALL NEED TO DEAL WITH IT MORE EFFECTIVELY NOW TOO. I EXPECT MOSTLY ALL OF THE CROOKS TO TAKE AN OSTRICH APPROACH AND TO  FALSELY DENY WHO THEY ARE CAUSE THEY DO NOT WANT TO LOSE THE PROFITABILITY OF THEIR BAD ACTS NOW TOO. And their own false Denial will not change the facts or their own eventual negative consequences too. Wrongful inactions, Cover ups, False denial of bad politicians, bad cops, bad persons, false pastors, false priests are much too common always but nevertheless they do EVENTUALLY get exposed, revealed to all as to what they are often now like too, and get what they deserve, and not the first or last time.. THEY ALSO DO even personally now find out next as a direct result too THAT A GOOD NAME IS WORTH MORE THAN ANY SILVER OR GOLD THEY HAD ACQUIRED..
.
When we all still do not like to be rebuked or exposed to all. Our tendancy of  Revenge and anger tends to amplify our worst  tendencies but we all do still need a  stark reminder that all persons now  can still be and will be accountable  for what they do, say, in governments, churches, in the open, online or  otherwise. Ministers, leaders, Pastors, elders, individuals included.
.

“The owner Lino Zambito, former head of bankrupt Infrabec construction, a now-defunct construction company has singled out one of the most powerful officials in Montreal city hall as being on the take said that former director general Robert Abdallah may have been receiving kickbacks.

Zambito said that when Infrabec was repairing sewer systems on Sherbrooke St., Abdallah ordered him to buy pipes he did not need from Tremca Group, or else he would lose the contract. Zambito argued that it was cheaper and more effective to pour concrete directly on location, but in the end agreed to buy the expensive pre-fabricated pipes, as long as Infrabec was paid extra for the unnecessary work and supplies. “If you want the project to go ahead, the pipes have to be bought form Tremca at the price you were told,” said Zambito. “We will pay you and the difference of $300,000 in the pipes, it’s the amount the men from Tremca, Mr. Caron, will have to pay Mr. Abdallah so that the project is approved by the City of Montreal.” Abdallah was center of federal scandal Abdallah resigned from his post in 2006 under a cloud of suspicion. The Federal Government, and Prime Minister Stephen Harper’s former Director of Communications, Dmitri Soudas, tried to have Abdallah hired as president of the Port of Montreal in 2007. Audio recordings obtained by the Globe and Mail and Radio-Canada showed construction company leaders Antonio ‘Tony’ Accurso and Bernard Poulin saying that Soudas was “the real boss of Quebec” and could get Abdallah named to the post. Abdallah was eventually hired by Gastier Construction, another firm owned by Accurso.

The sheer scope of the power once held by Mafia boss Vito Rizzuto has been hinted at in testimony at Quebec’s corruption inquiry. According to the testimony  he once helped decide who built the roads in Quebec. A construction boss says that when there was a dispute over who should win a certain bid for roadwork, he was invited to a restaurant owned by his competitor. Sitting there, acting as mediator: the head of Canada’s Cosa Nostra.

Rizzuto was also an arbitrator Zambito also said that in many cases, Vito Rizzuto had acted as a dispute-settler between construction firms, at one point telling Zambito that his company lacked the experience necessary to rebuild Acadie Circle. Antonio Accurso, whose company won the Transport Quebec bid to rebuild the Acadie Circle, issued a written statement denying all of Zambito’s allegations. Accurso said that he never had any disagreement with Zambito, that he never asked Rizzuto to intervene on any aspect of the Acadie Circle bid, and that he never had a meeting with Rizzuto and Zambito. The Acadie Circle has flooded half a dozen times since it was rebuilt in 2004.

At the Charbonneau Commission Zambito has testified that many people working in Montreal’s City Hall were corrupt, with senior employees demanding a cut of municipal contracts. Zambito testified on Monday that he had paid $400,000 to two people as part of the price necessary to win municipal contracts. On Tuesday the Commission said it will analyze 70 separate contracts awarded by the city of Montreal.

Zambito  made stunning disclosures about how construction companies colluded to divvy up city ( of Montreal)  work among them and rig the prices of contract bids. A further one per cent cut, Zambito said Monday, was paid to the city engineer who approved contracts. There was a running joke that the official claimed a one per cent “GST” — the name being a tongue-in-cheek twist on the French-language acronym for the federal sales tax. It was apparently named for, and by, engineer Gilles Surprenant, according to Zambito.  Montreal City Hall’s opposition leaders called for Tremblay to resign. Vision Montreal Leader Louise Harel and Projet Montréal Leader Richard Bergeron said the mayor can’t be trusted to govern until the next municipal elections, in November 2013.

I wrote years ago that anyone can and should be held accountiable for their abuse of our tax dollars. anywhere in Canada too

WE DO IN THE NEWS RIGHTFULLY HAVE CONTINUAL NEWS REVELATIONS OF CORRUPTIONS, TAX PAYER’S MONEY ABUSES BY GOVERNMENTAL EMPLOYEES, HOSPITAL ADMINISTRATORS,  PROFESSIONALS, CLERGY,   OTHERS AND THE POLICE NOW AS WELL. EXPOSURE AS WELL AS PUBLIC PROSECUTION OF THE GUILTY SERVES EVERYONE’S BEST INTERESTS.. BUT THE RIGHTFUL PROSECUTIONS SEEMS TO BE SERIOUSLY LACKING STILL

.

For example The Canada Agency Revenue  had  targeted 439 firms for a GST/HST audit. Each audit uncovered an average of $6,800 in missing tax revenue and yet no charges were laid.
http://ca.news.yahoo.com/tax-agency-credit-checks-missing-millions-gst-hst-110011741.html

.

“A former construction company owner says corruption money was used to fund political campaigns for Montreal’s mayor.Lino Zambito, the former head of Infrabec, testified on Monday that his company had to pay officials in the Union Montreal political party a 3 percent cut of all municipal contracts.”Starting from 2005 to 2006, there was an amount of 3 percent of the contracts that I gave back to Mr. Milioto and I had knowledge that this amount went to Mayor Tremblay’s political party,” said Zambito. He also fingered a now-retired official, Gilles Surprenant, for demanding an extra one percent of contracts.Surprenant, who gave himself the nickname TPS (Taxe Pour Surprenant, a play-on-words for the french acronym for GST), was responsible for preparing budgets and plans for construction projects in Montreal.Zambito said that the political kickbacks began in 2005 and ended in 2009, when his company was raided by the Surete du Quebec. However there are indications that some of the politically-related bribes began earlier.

Corruption allegations about the mayor’s political party have been lodged for years. Tremblay’s former chief fundraiser, Bernard Trepanier, was nicknamed ‘Mr. 3 percent” several years ago when Benoit Labonte, himself a former Union Montreal councillor, said that senior party workers were charging contractors. ” Read more:

and while he the mayor had denied it I said it was obvious corruption was being allowed.. and now many other Municipalities and Provinces and Hospitals too now still do the same thing and no one goes to jail for it?

Wrongful inactions, Cover ups, False denial of bad politicians, bad cops, bad persons, false pastors, false priests are much too common but nevertheless they do get exposed, revealed to all as to what they are often now like  too, and get what they deserve, and not the first or last time

Lying, thieving, alcoholic, abusive persons, priests, pastors, Ministers, Leaders, Presidents, premiers, prime Ministers, Police who cannot even change themselves for the good are of no use to anyone as well. I do not have to accept any of those lying hypocrites Clearly to me a preacher. Minister whose lifestyle does not match his preaching words to others he rightfully cannot be trusted at all.. he is a false preacher himself.. some how most of them now wrongfully are like that too.

The Conservative federal government EVEN NOW clearly also has a FALSE double standard when it comes to holding their own, cabinet ministers included, accountable for breaking the rules AND SO DO MANY OTHER POLITICAL LEADERS..

People in leadership office do have to face higher penalties as an example now too. It is clearly established, accepted fact by most people that those in leadership civil and public servants cops, teachers, ministers, politicians included are always to be exemplary in behavior, conduct and they do need to maintain their high standards even out of their working hours, thus to do so they are also to be exemplary judged, prosecuted for their own wrong doings with a higher standard over those of us ordinary folks. RCMP and Cops included now.

This is getting ridiculous. When it comes to punishment for criminal, unacceptable bad acts Canada for the last 50 years even has double standards, one for the ordinary Joe Blow and one for the Professionals, the Professionals – Doctors and Nurses, CEO’s, Managers, Accountants, Police they all tend to get off Scott free, rewarded even..

AND IT TAKES YEARS FOR THE GOVERNMENTS IF THEY EVENTUALLY DO TO DEAL WITH THE BIG CROOKS TOO AND THIS IS WRONG..

Irving Oil and its Quebec manager are facing criminal charges over the alleged  price-fixing of gasoline in Victoriaville, Thetford Mines and Sherbrooke ANDthe outcome of a major investigation made public by the Bureau in 2008,  a long time ago too. So far, only 39 people and 15 companies have faced charges as part of the  investigation. Of the 39 people charged, 27 have pleaded guilty, with six facing prison  time representing a total of 54 months behind bars. For the remainder, fines  have so far surpassed $3 million. Read more:

SOME PEOPLE IN MY OWN RESIDENCY HAVE BEEN COMMITTING FRAUD TAX PAYER’S ABUSES FOR 10 TO 15 YEARS AND TODATE NOTHING HAS BEEN DONE ABOUT IT EVEN THOUGH THE FACTS NOW ARE WELL KNOWN WORLD WIDE AND WHY? WHERE EVEN  IS THE RCMP WHEN YOU NEED THEM TO DO A GOOD JOB TOO?

When exposed in Quebec all of the crooks start to blame the others

The feds blame the cops, the RCMP, the province, while the RCMP blames the Montreal Municipal and  the Quebec provincial Governments.. what a circus that is now going on.. all  while criminals were having a field day abusing the tax payers monies.. The Montreal Mayor and the federal Conservatives, RCMP  all now  have   denied any wrongdoing in the matters.. and who  now openly will admit their guilt?  another Watergate or Montrealgate..

Ties between well-known construction entrepreneurs and the highest figures in the Italian Mafia are being described at Quebec’s corruption inquiry.” The Mafia in Montreal focuses on a few traditional staples. This includes the drug trade, sports betting and illegal gambling, extortion, and money laundering as their principal illegitimate money-makers. They are also involved in numerous legal industries such as restaurants, construction companies and private security”. At this Quebec province’s corruption  inquiry the inquiry has also heard that construction costs are driven up in Quebec by a  bid-rigging cartel, where the Mafia claims a percentage on certain projects. And  the devastating scope of allegations  gushing out from Quebec’s corruption inquiry, which has barely even begun is frightening. From a list of 21 construction companies that received more than $1 billion  in public contracts from the City of Montreal alone in the last half-decade, and  published in a 2011 list by the city’s auditor general, roughly half have either  been named at the inquiry this week or have been tied to criminal fraud  charges. ;

.

Montreal Mayor Gérald Tremblay whose police station is across from his city hall  only now is demanding that new Quebec Government rapidly enact new measures to battle corruption in the awarding of municipal contracts. Even though previously Major Tremblay under the previous Liberal government had apparently said he had it all under control, it was not that bad. Mayor Tremblay now claims he was was shocked by recent RCMP public testimony at the Charbonneau Commission which shed more light on alleged bid rigging that has taken place in Montreal in more recent years. Tremblay mow has also expressed anger at the ineffective Royal Canadian Mounted Police, who had sat on the information without passing it along to his staff.

.

The governments now also do say that they they are not to blame for the fact that the clearly incompetent pretentious police are more effective in prosecuting successfully money generating traffic tickets over the significantly more important conviction of drunk, impaired drivers… In 2010, according to the report, 915 people were charged with drug-impaired driving nationwide, representing only 1.4 per cent of the total number of impaired-driving charges laid.

.

Here is what I have found interesting.. Now for decades I too have known that association with money tends to tempt and to corrupt people, the Judas syndrome, and follow the money trail, the oldest rule of Journalism.. and I have even decades ago written that it is still an understated fact that the corruption most often exists firstly in the purchasing, procurements departments even in Corporations, Governments, Hospitals, Public and Civil Services and yet no many persons has been arrested, exposed for that. until recently in Quebec, at least. Now as per the Major Montreal Hospitals and the City of Montreal I too do still just cannot believe that less than a handful of civil and public servants were , crooked in the procurement, tender departments now even for decades.. all an unbelievable unblemished record.. and why was that now realy?
http://thenonconformer.wordpress.com/2012/09/19/finally-police-probe-mcgill-hospital-contract/

.

“Executives at engineering giant SNC-Lavalin Group Inc., won’t comment on allegation $22.5M payment linked to MUHC super hospital project. Leslie Quinton, an SNC-Lavalin spokesperson, was quoted in the La Presse  as presently not wishing to confirm or deny that $22.5 million of the questionable payments that surfaced earlier this year involved the super hospital contract.” The persons at the receiving end of the bribe as well is yet to be fully confirmed..
.

All the Federal And Quebec Police forces themselves now in reality are also to blame for the continuing Quebec Corruption Saga the last 50 years now too since they had clearly wrongfully failed to do anything good about it cause they did not want the rock the political establishment, to bite the hands of those who make their budgets, feed them.. hypocrites!

.
Quebec is also known to be too soft on crimes
http://thenonconformer.wordpress.com/2012/09/09/the-federal-and-the-quebec-governments-are-undeniably-soft-on-crime-social-welfare-abusers-tax-evaders-new-arrivals/
.
THE LOVE OF MONEY THE ROOT OF ALL EVIL. It has been an undeniable known fact that for decades and decades too many of the Quebec’s politicians and all of the related political parties now have wrongfully been too soft on crime, criminals even in the municipal. provincial, federal governments, and above all even amongst themselves, and even at the professional levels.. We have had perversity involved even in building a Montreal Hospital, even in the Mayor’s own executive office. Bad management of resources and personnel is an unacceptable sad fact of life here even in Hospitals, and with the Police, not just in the governments, and no one cared to deal with it. Tax evasion is an ongoing fact of life here too.

Too many Montreal Hospital administrators  falsely tend to turn their blind eyes to the inadequacies, wrong doings of their associates and subordinates  and how is this coming along now too?

Cop suspended with pay

Time to change the rules  Toronto Sun – ‎Mar 29, 2011‎“We pointed out that each year, across the province, some 50 officers are suspended with pay, which costs the public around $5 million,” he said. “It cost the Big 12 police boards $17 million in the last 5 years in salaries for suspended police …

Halifax’s deputy police chief suspended with pay TheChronicleHerald.ca – Deputy Chief Chris McNeil, the brother of Liberal leader Stephen McNeil, has been suspended with pay in relation to allegations of perjury under the Nova Scotia Police Act, sources told The Chronicle Herald on Thursday. A second officer has also been …

Deputy Chief Chris McNeil has been suspended with pay from Halifax Regional Police while investigators look into allegations he might have lied under oath.

My own real experiences is that most cops lie when confronted with their own wrong doings..

So now another cop is even suspended with pay which by itself  is bad enough but when their court costs are also being paid by the taxpayers that is now going to far as well..

In the real world in the private sector if you were going to court facing a criminal charge you were unpaid for the days you not only were unpaid for the days you take off from work, and none of your legal fees would be paid by your company, but likley you would be immediately fired without a everance pay as well.. for mostly no one wants a bad reputation person  around the office as it is bad for business, morale, productivity…

And don’t try to give us all  the crap that any  bad police officers can be next still retrained, reformed .. the police themselves tend not to believe that any of the bad guys can be reformed

and we need real, decent,  moral cops and not pretentious ones…

Conservative 2011 Federal Budget is ‘not enough, I agree

New Conservative Finance Minister Jim Flaherty  tabled a cautious budget that offers some targeted measures for seniors, parents and small business owners.

The Conservative 2011 Federal Budget is  ‘not enough’ reasons for Harper to stay in power, rather it is another Conservative  spit in our face as taxpayers, citizens. It looks more like an attempt to stay in power over any valid  fiscal remedies for the real major problems facing all Canadians. The budget is favouring Harper’s pet projects over Canadians’ priorities. “The needs of most Canadians are neglected due to reckless spending on Conservative pet projects” .  “Canadians should be warned: deep spending cuts that will affect the services they need are on the horizon. The government isn’t revealing where the pain is going to come.”

“The Harper government has yet again tabled a fiscal plan that doesn’t deal with the tough issues of the day. How will we deal with aging infrastructure and high youth unemployment, a shrinking workforce and uncertain pensions?  The government’s response seems to be that these are our problems, not theirs.”"The ultimate test of a government budget is that it should make life better for Canadian citizens—on that measure, this budget represents a failed state,”Budgets are about choices, they reflect a government’s values and priorities.  Federal budget tosses crumbs to Canadians, bread to Harper’s pet projects
http://www.policyalternatives.ca/

The New federal Budget increase for seniors or Canada’s poor persons, is  certainly ‘not enough’ and there is very little of tangible, positive substance new here—either on valid spending to create jobs or tax cuts. At most, it includes a lot of bits and pieces clearly  in a bad  politically opportunistic bid for the conservatives to falsely stay in power. It is a job-killing budget that provides little hope for Canada’s over 1.5 million unemployed. Clearly also  there isn’t much new in it to create jobs. It is a a budget that doesn’t provide anything for child care, affordable housing and nothing significant on health care, for Aboriginal Peoples or to reduce poverty.

Health Care

  • The main new measure here is a new non-refundable Family Caregiver Tax Credit of $2,000 proposed for 2012 for family members to take care of disabled dependents. After tax, this works out to $300.
  • The budget also proposes to forgive a portion of the Canada Student Loans owed by family doctors, nurse practioners and nurses who practice in under-served rural or remote communities. Doctors could get up to $8,000 a year in loan forgiveness up to a maximum of $40,000 while nurses would get half this amount.

The budget signals ongoing major shifts in the tax load: corporate tax revenues are expected to shrink to less than 13 per cent of federal revenues within five years, down from 16 per cent when Harper Conservatives came to power. Meanwhile, federal revenues from personal income taxes will rise to almost 50 per cent of total federal revenues: that’s up from approximately 40 per cent 25 years ago.

As in the past more than a third of the benefits from the Harper corporate tax cuts will continue go to highly profitable banks, oil and gas companies and other finance and resource sector firms.

The Harper Conservatives’ 2011 federal budget reads like a laundry list full of relatively small measures: extensions of some programs, a few new programs, half efforts, more boutique tax cuts, and tinkering with taxes and tax loopholes.

The budget it doesn’t address any of the big issues or priorities of Canadians in any substantial way: health care, unemployment, making Canada’s tax system fairer for Canadian families, or reducing Canada’s infrastructure deficit. At the same time, the budget signals steep cuts in federal program spending in order to pay for the cost of their corporate tax cuts.

.. do get leaders who care about the citizens welfare firstly

and fire all of the alcoholics

Harper now next had  lied when he said he and his government was rejected because of his bad budget.. Harper’s own  non parlamentary, non democratic dicatgorial approach was what  was rejected..

Canada’s Prime Minister Stephen Harper is not a real Evangelical Christian

Once a liar always a liar too.

Canada’s Prime Minister Stephen Harper now even has had many chances to show to us all what a supposedly good prime minister he was and it is now very clear that many times now and too often  he has failed to do so.. blaming any others here for his own shortcomings is ludicrous now still as well. What ever happened to morality and honesty, decency? It is also very evident how many politicians who are mainly stil self serving and they do  hypocritically do  try to hold others to their own standards , standards they themselves do not even now live up to as well, and they even do  falsely accuse others of doing the same wrongs they think it is all right for them still to do, such as lie. It is  too often clear as to how many politicians at the municipal, provincial, federal levels now do lie, slander, they do even distort, twist the truth basically trying to win elections or to stay in power at all costs. It is here very despicable how many politicians do not only lie but they falsely think that because their own lies are now in the past they are forgotten and forgiven and they wrongfully deny any personal accountability, transparency thus. ..You can tell what politician is really like by not what they do even say or the promises they say  rather by what they do actually now, and once a liar and slanderer they will always be a liar  and a slanderer next as well. A good tree brings forth good fruit and a bad tree brings forth bad fruit next still as well.

GREAT NEWS FOR CANADA’S MANY CRIMINALS RARELY ARRESTED AND CONVICTED TOO..

We all  can already readily know that the police brass in Canada and Canada wide also tend to be guilty of empire building too  and they are too often beating a dead horse asking for more and more money too since most cops, the RCMP included they do tend to be very ineffective in their jobs still…. still in Ontario A first-class constable starts at a salary of $83,259. this is even an uneducated person. . Cleary the police are also now very much  not cost effective.. In fact most criminals in Canada are never apprehended.. Now also they the police cannot have it both ways.. the Police brass  often do like to point out that the overall crime rates are down indicating  that the police have been doing a good job at the while they same time while they are asking for more money to improve, upgrade the police services.. this distortions fails to admit the high number of criminals never caught, jailed, apprehended and now still when the   police are given a  whole bunch of money, millions of dollars to spend it always  should still be their job still  to spend the money in a responsible, accountable  manner. Recently I ,myself had encountered a, on the job  cop supervisor with a radio shopping in a bicycle store trying to buy a bike outfit for himself, and he was called away  to deal with a an ongoing crime, that also still is not an acceptable use of tax payer’s money.. shopping while on duty!

“Prof. Lee demonstrates how rare it is for criminals to spend any time at all in prison, whether federal prisons or the comparatively less harsh provincial ones. Of the almost 2.5 million crimes reported to police annually in Canada, only about 250000 (10%) result in convictions. Meanwhile, among those convicted, only about 27% will go to prison, roughly 25% to provincial jails and 2% to federal ones. The remaining 73% are let out with time served, sentenced to community service or fined. People have given up reporting crime to police because there are so few convictions any more, and those there are carry with them ridiculously light punishments.People under 30 commit most of society’s crimes, and there is simply a smaller portion of Canadians under 30 than there were two or three decades ago.

It is likely that more than seven million crimes are committed each year in Canada. If that’s the case, then convictions are won in just 3.4% of crimes, and prison terms are handed out in just under 1%. The chance of doing “federal time” is less than one-tenth of 1%, when taken in relation to the number of total crimes committed.

It is ludicrous to imagine that criminals don’t instinctively understand these long odds, and that they aren’t thereby emboldened to commit crimes.

Our incarceration rates are only one-sixth those of the United States — 116 per 100,000 population versus 756 per 100,000 — largely because we don’t lock people away for committing property crimes. Our incarceration rates also are lower than the average for the world’s 34 developed countries, and are substantially lower than in other common-law countries such as England and Wales, Scotland, Australia and New Zealand.”

THE  UNDENIABLE CANADIAN REALITY IS IF YOU REPORT A CRIME TO THE LOCAL OR NATIONAL POLICE IS THEY LIKLEY WILL TRY TO PASS THE BUCK TO SOMEONE ELSE, OR FIND REASONS NOT TO INVESTIGATE THE MATTER ESPECIALLY TILL THE STATUTE OF LIMITATION RUNS OUT, WHICH IS ABOUT 6 MONTHS,  BUT THE SAME POLICE WILL LOUDLY ASK FOR A RAISE, MORE MONEY FOR THEIR TOO OFTEN BAD PERFORMANCES.

Note – revenue generating traffic tickets offenders is what the cops are only good at catching mostly still too..

If you are non white it is also more likley that you will be arrested and jailed..

.. for decades Canada has had too many bad cops and bad justice ministers.

No surprise God implements justice on Politicians as well

Former premier Gordon Campbell steps down as MLA Vancouver Sun -   Premier Gordon Campbell discusses his political career during an interview in his office at the BC legislature in Victoria. Former premier Gordon Campbell is stepping down as an MLA effective …

End of an era for Campbell  Gordon Campbell left government Tuesday when he resigned as MLA for Vancouver-Point Grey. In what shape the former premier left the province, however, remains a matter of perspective. Anti-HST strategist Chris Delaney said Campbell failed to communicate his vision for the province to British Columbians.“Over a period of years that he was able to stay in office, he dismantled B.C. Rail, he began to dismantle B.C. Hydro and did the same with B.C. Ferries,” he told QMI from New York. “Had he fully told British Columbians of his vision, I don’t think he would have been elected.”Political pundit Dennis Pilon said a legacy of low wages, a class of working poor in a wealthy province and record-high rates of child poverty must also be considered.“No one can take away from the fact there were various things mounted by this government that they pulled off,” the University of Victoria professor said. “Now people have to ask themselves ‘were those accomplishments worth it?’”

why did it take so long to do so..

OTTAWA – In an  unprecedented double rebuke of the minority Conservative government the Speaker of the House of Commons Peter Milliken has ruled the government breached parliamentary privilege by refusing to fully disclose cost estimates for its tough-on-crime agenda, corporate tax cuts and plans to purchase stealth fighter jets. He also ruled that International Co-operation Minister Bev Oda breached parliamentary privilege by misleading MPs about an altered document.

The Opposition parties calla for Minister of Natural Resources Christian Paradis  to resign over revelations that  that two more of his staffers tried to block the release of access-to-information documents specically Sebastien Togneri, and the Minister of Public Works, where Togneri was employed under the former minister Christian Paradis. Public Works has since changed the process so now there are no more face-to-face meetings between bureaucrats and minister’s aides. The political staff are no longer allowed to know the category of requester, whether news media or opposition MPs.  The RCMP is supposedly investigating  a Tory staffer for political interference in access to information which has exposed the unacceptable secretive practice of flagging sensitive requests for scrutiny by ministerial aides. Canada’s information commissioner, Suzanne Legault, was highly critical of a so-called “purple file” process at Public Works where an access request in 2009 from The Canadian Press was tagged sensitive, put into a purple-coloured folder, labelled “media,” then handed over to Sebastien Togneri, a political aide to then-minister Christian Paradis. In a face-to-face meetings with compliant bureaucrats, and in terse emails, Togneri ordered the release package withheld, then heavily censored, even though he had no legal authority to do so. Legault recommended the current minister, Rona Ambrose, call in the Mounties to consider whether charges should be laid against Togneri, who had uit government last September under fire for other alleged breaches. Ambrose agreed.  Public Works Minister Rona Ambrose said in a statement  that her department has implemented the recommendations made by the information commissioner in this matter. This, she said, is “consistent with our government’s commitment to openness, transparency and accountability.”But next A spokesperson for Ambrose later refused to release a copy of the report that was received in February.   A great start for the Public Works Minister Rona Ambrose  but what about a great finish as well?

Conservative MP Stockwell Day isn’t going to run again in the next federal election is good news too.

bad cops and bad justice ministers – ‘Nobody is above the law’

Date: Tuesday Mar. 15, 2011 2:58 PM ET An Ottawa police officer has been charged with sexual assault in connection with the treatment of a woman taken into custody in 2008 who was seen in surveillance video having her shirt and bra cut off. The charges stem from an investigation launched late last year by Ontario’s Special Investigations Unit, which probes incidents of death, serious injury or allegations of sexual assault involving police. Last November, the SIU began investigating the case of Stacy Bonds, who was arrested for alcohol-related offences, including public intoxication, on Sept. 6, 2008. She was also charged with assaulting a peace officer. The SIU launched its investigation after the video of the police search of Bonds surfaced, showing Special Const. Melanie Morris kneeing her in the back, after which Sgt. Steven Desjourdy cuts off her shirt and bra. Last October, after seeing the video, Ontario Court Justice Richard Lajoie stayed the charges against Bonds, and expressed concern about the conduct of the officers during her time in custody. In December, Bonds filed a $1.2-million lawsuit against the Ottawa police force. In her statement of claim, Bonds says police violated her Charter rights because her treatment while in custody came close to torture. The statement contends that Bonds suffered “two shattering blows” to her side, was subjected to “a highly intrusive, unnecessary and unlawful search,” and suffered “emotional and physical trauma.” Bonds also accuses police of discriminating against her because she is a black woman.

‘I’ve learned my rights,’ says victim stripped by Ottawa police Montreal Gazette - Stacy Bonds is the subject of story that due to her mistreatment by a number of Ottawa police officers has prompted a judge to condemn them as “malicious”

I was watching another of those typical TV cop shows which show the cops as the unacceptable drunks, adulterers, thieves, murderers, drug addicts and even persons who cover up their fellow partners immoralities, and it was not far from the realties we all do seem to  know,  but why our too often  prenterious justice ministers themselves do continue to excuse, coverup for  their inactions on our much too many bad cops Canada wide  is still also unacceptable.. bad justice ministers seem to be afraid of the cops cause why? for are  they are doing bad things as well?

.. there goes more bad cops..

Cops reprimanded for not declaring alcohol  CHATHAM, Ont. – Two high-ranking police officers have been demoted and disciplined failing to disclose how much alcohol they were bringing back to Canada from the US Chatham-Kent Police Service staff sergeants Jeff Littlewood Chatham-Kent Police Service staff sergeants Jeff Littlewood and Brian Biskey both pleaded guilty last month to discreditable conduct under the Police Services Act after for bringing the alcohol across Ambassador Bridge between Detroit and Windsor, Ont., on Dec. 3,.. they bought 40 bottles of alcohol and two cases of beer and tried to bring them back into Canada.

It is a well known undeniable facts that too many cops now are alcoholics and these now brain damaged alcoholics cannot do a decent job.. they need to be dismissed.. for they rarely can be helped..

Me I am rightfully very opinionated about what I rightfully do think about any and all of our and civil and public servants, bad politicians in Canada.. for when you come to actually use their services rather when you need it realy is when do you find out firsthand what crap they do offer.. and you do hear their false excuse for not doing their promised jobs now too. I have had politicians come to my door and there give me a useless, typical lying speech and once in office they figured they can forget about me, tell me to go to hell till the next election day.. no not if I can help it.. I make it my job next to expose the liars I do firsthand encounter, especially all bad church minsters, all bad ministers- bad politicians, all bad doctors, all bad nurses , all bad cops, yes all of the too often bad civil and public servants.. I rightfully always still do expect them to do a good Job on behalf of me and all Canadians , and all of the time or else you can read their inadequacies readily here too. I meet too many pretentious professionals.. bad cops, bad doctors, bad nurses,, there seems to be more bad ones over the good ones,, clearly someone in the governments is not doing a good enough job here,, and too often it seems to start with the bad , no good justice ministers even.. well I do not accept rightfully even their crap now quietly as well.

Have you also not noticed how much time the government ministers do now have to advertise to us all what a good job they are supposedly doing because clearly  it is not very obvious..

Did you not notice how bad of a job they are doing in keeping the sidewalks safe even now during the winter months even..

Or did you also now notice how much money Bell does need to spend on adverting and continually, I guess it is to offset the many many customers they are often and continually losing due to their poor support and failure to keep their original  promises to the customers now too..

Majority of Canadians they just want all pricing to be fair — and Bell, Rogers, Telus, Shaw and Videtron etc., so far have been anything but.

“Why aren’t things happening?” Opposition MPs accused the FEDERAL government Tuesday of dragging its heels on creating an independent board to oversee the RCMP. It urged creation of a management board that would oversee financial affairs, resources, services, property, personnel and procurement… explain why the government hasn’t created a management board for the force.

Elder abuse: A growing dilemma in an aging population The biggest perpetrators of violence against seniors were adult children (15 per 100,000 cases) or a current or former spouse (13 per 100,000). Elder abuse can take several forms. Among them:

  • Neglect: Signs include unkempt appearance, broken glasses, lack of appropriate clothing as well as malnutrition, dehydration and poor personal hygiene.
  • Physical Abuse: Signs include untreated or unexplainable injuries in various stages of healing, limb and skull fractures, bruises, black eyes and welts.
  • Psychological/emotional abuse: Watch for changes in behaviour (emotional upset/agitation resulting in sucking, biting, rocking), withdrawal or non-responsiveness.
  • Economic/financial abuse: Watch for sudden changes in bank accounts or banking activity, and major changes to legal documents such as powers of attorney and wills.

TAKE the case of the 68-year-old mother who was found unconscious living in her son’s freezing garage. The woman’s son and daughter-in-law appeared in court earlier Tuesday and were denied bail. They have been charged with failing to provide the necessities of life and criminal negligence causing bodily harm. Mr. Fantino ,Stephen Harper’s new seniors minister the former top cop in Toronto and the Ontario Provincial Police commissioner.said that, for now, all he can do is “lend support to the system to ensure that those responsible will face justice under our laws.”

Seniors lobby group CARP, meanwhile, is calling on Mr. Fantino to make elder abuse a specific criminal offence. CARP would also like to see:

  • The Criminal Code to be modified to include “duty to report” provisions modeled on requirements to report suspected cases of child or spousal abuse.
  • A provision in the Criminal Code for crimes against the elderly that provide increased penalties, similar to tougher penalties that can be imposed for hate crimes.
  • A new criminal office of Elder Abuse Victim.

The man who was kicked in the face by an RCMP officer

Kelowna politicians support RCMP oversight committee concept

A Kelowna, B.C., man kicked in the face by an RCMP officer had the charge against him stayed Monday and a senior Mountie has apologized to him for the way he was treated. Buddy Tavares was arrested Jan. 7 in Kelowna for firing shots at a golf course where he is employed, he says, to scare away geese using blanks.RCMP Const. Geoff Mantler was suspended from duty over allegations of police brutality in connection to the arrest, which was caught on video and showed what appears to be an unprovoked boot to Tavares’ face. A charge of assault causing bodily harm has been recommended by Abbotsford police and has yet to be approved by the Crown. In court Monday, the Crown stayed the charge of careless use of a firearm against Tavares because there was not enough evidence, said his sister Angela Behiels. As well Monday, Tavares received a house visit by RCMP Assistant Commissioner Peter Hourihan who offered an apology on behalf of the force.

when it comes to asking the police to investigate any matter, the police do tend to first find false reasons why they cannot handle the matter, or they try to pass the buck to another group as rather them being responsible to deal with the issues, such as Bank investigators, the civil Courts, etc..
