The children of four missing women whose remains were found on serial killer Robert Pickton’s farm have launched legal action looking for compensation. The daughters and sons of Dianne Rock, Sarah de Vries, Cynthia Feliks and Yvonne Boen have filed separate lawsuits in B.C. Supreme Court, targeting the provincial government, the City of Vancouver, Robert Pickton and his brother Dave and their sister Linda.  The statements of claim alleges numerous failures on the part of Vancouver police, RCMP and Crown prosecutors, including that police didn’t warn women in the Downtown Eastside that a serial killer may have been targeting women in the area.The lawsuits, which contain unproven allegations, also complain about the way the Vancouver police and RCMP informed the women’s families about the Pickton connection, including Boen’s children, who found out through news reports. We are all rightfully upset and not just “frustrated” with seeing the bad Police officers in Canada who are charged criminally or under the Police Services Act pocket a paycheque, bad cops temporarily being suspended with pay and receiving $100,000 a year to sit at home as they drag out the process for years — at times into retirement and escaping punishment —

Gerald Tremblay told the Charbonneau Commission Thursday that he repeatedly  pleaded with police chief Yvan Delorme to investigate an alleged $1 million  extortion demand made by his finance director Bernard Trepanier, but that the  police chief refused to act.

Alcohol consumptiom is still one of Canada’s biggest problem

All persons who take bad drugs and alcohol suffer undeniably irreversible brain damage, death of brain cells, become more and more mentally  retarded.

  Most headlines about moderate alcohol consumption are still misleading ones —such as a drink or two a day is good for your heart, your soul, and may even extend your lifespan! But a  new study finds that regularly consuming even moderate amounts of alcohol can cause a decrease in brain plasticity, or the brain’s ability to generate new cells.  It rather kills even existing brain cells..

Once the alcohol is absorbed into the tissue, it affects your mind and body.  Blood alcohol concentration can rise up to 20 minutes after having a drink. After alcohol is absorbed it leaves the body in three ways: the kidneys, lungs, and liver. Alcohol is not a stimulant, it is actually a sedative-depressant of the central nervous-system, it is capable of rupturing blood capillaries and veins, it does not warm you up; in fact it makes you colder by increasing perspiration and causing body heat loss, it damages the branched end of nerve cells that bring messages into the cell, causing disruptions to brain function. It depletes the body of many essential nutrients such as all the B vitamins, especially B1, B2, B3,B6, B12, folic acid, vitamins C and K, zinc, magnesium and potassium. It can hamper the liver’s ability to process fat. It can lead to liver toxicity and disease. The high sugar content of alcoholic drinks can lead to hypoglycemia and predispose to diabetes. Drinking alcohol regularly can lead to its dependence. Drinking alcohol damages the liver, kidneys, and lungs

Alcohol consumption has previously been linked to a reduced bone mineral density (BMD), or osteoporosis, and increases the risk of fractures especially since  bone fractures can be the result of falls, and   one in three adults over 65 will experience a fall each year, this is a serious issue. And too much booze can cause people to age prematurely. It impairs your driving now too no matter how old you are.  Some of the wider known effects of alcohol include diminished performance, mental impairment, possible addiction, diabetes and liver disease. Now  there   a very few people, though, who can  have one small drink  too.. Yes too many have ended up dying from alcohol abuse, and as well there are those whose alcoholism led them to stop taking care of themselves.  Alcoholism certainly can increase the risk of many different diseases occurring, especially as an individual grows older, and most of   the negative effects are irreversible as well.

Also, after alcohol is consumed it is then the first energy supply to be used up by your body when combined with carbohydrates, proteins and fats, which postpone the fat-burning process. As a result this can lead to greater fat storage, meaning that whenever you drink you will not be burning away your fat stores in the near future. Another shocking fact is that alcohol supplies almost twice as many calories as proteins and carbohydrates, seven calories per gram! And as all of these extra calories you are getting from alcohol contain zero nutrients, they accelerate fat storage while also having a negative effect on a healthy metabolism.”

Statistics which show an increase of in the number of people   binge drinking, getting drunk  and that the statistics also show that we still have a long way to deal with this major problem. 81% of people who choose to drink are still exceeding the recommended daily limits. The cost of alcohol misuse to our society is very real. In just over 10 years, there has been a startling 86% increase in the numbers of people dying due to alcohol related harm. The harsh reality is that although alcohol misuse is known to be damaging and harmful to health and well-being, many people still drink to excess. This must change,

If you drink 2 martinis at lunch time or supper time  for a start  you are definitely an alcoholic. Now besides the negative effect of alcohol in the private sector they do not booze it up as much as our civil and public servants, politicians  have and do for sure. Politicians, civil and there  Public servants Pigging out, living high on the hog, or getting drunk, and patronistic hiring practices, are clearly an unacceptable abuse.

When drunk in excess, alcohol damages nearly all organ systems. It is also connected to higher death rates and is involved in a greater percentage of crime than most other drugs, including heroin. All governments should consider more education programs and raising the price of alcohol so it isn’t as widely available.

IN ONE YEAR 60% of fatally injured drivers in Canada had a positive reading for blood alcohol and 160,000 people were convicted of impaired   driving .  IMPAIRED DRIVING CONVICTIONS ARE MAINLY ENFORCED 2 MONTHS OF THE YEAR FIRSTLY, AND ARE NOT DONE THE WHOLE YEAR.  generally alcohol-related driving offences account for approximately 25% of all Criminal Code prosecutions. ” If you drink and drive, it’s everybody’s business” still. Also a review of B.C. accidents from 1999 to 2003 showed that nearly a third of such impaired drivers faced more drunk driving charges, even after they killed or maimed others in 84 per cent of the initial accidents.“Follow-up over a 4.5 year period indicated that 30.7 per cent of the injured impaired drivers were engaged in subsequent impaired driving, notwithstanding that they injured or killed someone in more than 84 per cent of initial crashes. These studies suggest that our emergency departments may have become safe havens for the worst drinking drivers, those drivers who are involved in fatal or personal injury crashes. They recover, get out of hospital, drive drunk again, and escape prosecution and conviction. It doesn’t take them long which is exactly why the conviction rate has to go up. There needs to be more intervention to get them off the roads,” Booze, gambling revenues now worth more than the oil- gas royalties to Alberta  government all thanks to a past  alcoholic premier there.

The reality is that innocent people do suffer too often as a result of the alcoholic drunks and they the drunks wrongfully continue to bring a vast amount of pain, suffering to others.   Drunk drivers   hurt others.. There’s just no cure for drunks except Jesus.  I bet he’s a repeat offender.  There is no need to send it to court. Merely Ban the idiot from driving for the next 100 years and throw him in jail for five years. If proven to be impaired, the driver will be without insurance. they also will sue him to recover their losses, garnish his wages and put a lien on his house and anything else he owns. But he or she will continue likely to drink and drive. Alcoholism is not just too often a supposed sickness but it is violence, and murder..

Now about the police rightfully going after drunks all year, not just mainly the car speeders.. Oh I forgot the police are too often drunks themselves, and drink and drive too.. Alcoholics do not need a reason or a season to get drunk,  on the job or off the job, including many civil and public servants now too, for they do it all year. They also still  need to be jailed, fired and not rather neglected.

We already know that the first alcoholic drink too can be deadly to an alcoholic next..  And Regular alcohol or marijuana use takes a worse toll on the teenage brain than thought . It seems that 70 percent of the adults drink alcohol in Canada too but 100 percent of them claim to be non alcoholics? civil and public servants included, and where do all of the many drunk drivers, alcoholics come from now too?

We need to also stop electing liars and alcoholics too.. be for certain there is no such thing as a little bit pregnant, and that there is a direct correlation between the people who are heavy alcohol users.. that they are the same persons who will also take bad drugs… and they will also be the same persons who also now do cheat , lie, steal, commit tax evasions.. as they have no solid morality.  It seems we have too many cheats, thieves, liars, alcoholics, adulterers for cops and for politicians, civil and public servants  still in Canada.. for basically there is no such thing as a little bit pregnant, it seems you are basically honest or merely another crook…

Increasing indulgence  has been a trend all year long with Canadians spending close to half a billion  dollars more on alcohol in the first nine months of 2012 than in 2011, and if this growth holds up through the holiday season, that would set the stage for  record retail sales of more than $19 billion in 2012. Whether it is family get-togethers,  holiday parties or just drinking to stay warm, liquor sales typically surge by  over 40 per cent of the monthly average in December, the study  suggests. By comparison, despite the hordes of people descending on malls  to purchase gifts for their loved ones, the retail sector only rises by 15-20  per cent in December.  Alcohol sales on pace to high record high: report  Canada becoming a nation of alcoholics

Drink Alcohol and Die or Kill is fast becoming Canada’s preoccupation, main goal, slogan.. The problem with the Police or Politicians consuming alcohol, is that alcohol not only makes you a mental retard cause it does now kills your brain cell, alcohol also kills your emotions of compassion, and  reasoning ability now as well..Alcohol and alcoholics the unacceptable main cause of vehicular  accidents, domestic violence, and so many other ills…It is not the rapists, drunk drivers that mostly  fill the courts calendars, docks it is mostly the revenue generating traffic tickets.. if the government wants to get tough on crime, as it purports, it should go after the real criminals. Even moderate alcohol drinking raises cancer death risk: study   Alcohol is more dangerous than illegal drugs like heroin and crack cocaine, according to a new study. Heroin, crack cocaine and methamphetamine, or crystal meth, were the most lethal to individuals. When considering their wider social effects, alcohol, heroin and crack cocaine were the deadliest. But overall, alcohol outranked all other substances, followed by heroin and crack cocaine. Experts said alcohol scored so high because it is so widely used and has devastating consequences not only for drinkers but for those around them. When drunk in excess, alcohol damages nearly all organ systems. It is also connected to higher death rates and is involved in a greater percentage of crime than most other drugs, including heroin. Alcohol, drugs common in fatal crashes: study- More than half of US drivers killed in car accidents had alcohol or drugs in their system at the time of the crash, according to a study.

And alcohol is a “major” contributor to cancer deaths in the United States, even when consumed in small amounts. ‘The risk of developing breast cancer from drinking even small amounts of alcohol is being ignored by women with thousands now needlessly dying every year. Less than two drinks a day can increase the risk of developing cancer, doctors have warned, after finding that even moderate consumption was linked to almost a third of alcohol-related cancers.

The majority of deaths due to alcohol consumption seemed to occur among people who consumed more than three  alcoholic drinks a day, but those who consumed 1.5 beverages daily may account  for up to a third of those deaths, the researchers found

Leaders who boast now of their consuming alcoholic beverages are encouraging others to next become alcoholics, the teenagers too… what a bad example of their leadership skills too.

More than 200 different conditions are linked to alcohol consumption. “These include not only well-known outcomes of drinking such as liver cirrhosis or traffic accidents, but also several types of cancer, such as female breast cancer,”

Most Evangelical Christians believe real Christians do not drink Alcohol..In reality  some professing Christians, Christian leaders still do  FALSELY  drink alcohol.

Inhibitions are the first to be suppressed when alcohol is consumed, which results in talking more, becoming disorderly and acting unwisely. Time is the only way to rid the body of alcohol after it has been consumed—approximately one hour per ounce of alcohol.

As little as one or two drinks can adversely affect a driver’s judgment and reaction time.

Drunkenness (and/or alcoholism) is a very serious problem in our society. The statistics associated with drinking alcohol are both alarming and disturbing, especially from a Christian point of view:

It is apparent that a wide variety of temporal problems stem from drinking alcohol, as just shown. The above cited dangers and sufferings for the drunk, however, are inconsequential and almost not even worth mentioning compared to the greatest danger in the entire universe—that of being thrown into the lake of burning sulfur, which is forever.

Furthermore, there is no such thing as a Christian alcoholic since drunkards will not inherit the kingdom of God.

Jesus similarly taught about drunkenness:
But suppose the servant says to himself, “My master is taking a long time in coming,” and he then begins to beat the menservants and maidservants and to eat and drink and get drunk. The master of that servant will come on a day when he does not expect him and at an hour he is not aware of. He will cut him to pieces and assign him a place with the unbelievers (Luke 12:45, 46).

The physical dangers of alcohol consumption include:
● Liver damage especially, but also brain, heart, bone marrow and gastrointestinal tract. Such can lead to cancer, high blood pressure, stroke, heart attack, cirrhosis, nerve problems, etc. When the liver is affected nutrition is also adversely impacted which will hurt the entire body.
● Becoming overweight. One glass of wine daily can add 10 pounds a year to your weight.;

Four More Facts About Drunkenness
(1) It leads to debauchery:
Do not get drunk on wine, which leads to debauchery. Instead, be filled with the Spirit (Eph. 5:18).
(2) It brings woe, sorrow, strife, complaints, needless bruises and bloodshot eyes:
Who has woe? Who has sorrow? Who has strife? Who has complaints? Who has needless bruises? Who has bloodshot eyes? Those who linger over wine, who go to sample bowls of mixed wine. Do not gaze at wine when it is red, when it sparkles in the cup, when it goes down smoothly! In the end it bites like a snake and poisons like a viper. Your eyes will see strange sights and your mind imagine confusing things. You will be like one sleeping on the high seas, lying on top of the rigging. “They hit me,” you will say, “but I’m not hurt! They beat me, but I don’t feel it!  When will I wake up so I can find another drink?” (Prov. 23:29-35)
(3) It reveals those who do get drunk as unwise:
Wine is a mocker and beer a brawler; whoever is led astray by them is not wise (Prov. 20:1).
(4) It disqualifies a person from spiritual leadership:

(1 Tim 3:1 KJV) This is a true saying, If a man desire the office of a bishop, he desireth a good work. 2 A bishop then must be blameless, the husband of one wife, vigilant, sober, of good behaviour, given to hospitality, apt to teach; 3 Not given to wine, no striker, not greedy of filthy lucre; but patient, not a brawler, not covetous; 4  One that ruleth well his own house, having his children in subjection with all gravity; 5 (For if a man know not how to rule his own house, how shall he take care of the church of God?)

1 Tim 3:2 Now a bishop (superintendent, overseer) must give no grounds for accusation {but} must be above reproach, the husband of one wife, circumspect {and} temperate {and} self-controlled ( Sober) ; [he must be] sensible {and} well behaved {and} dignified and lead an orderly (disciplined) life; [he must be] hospitable [showing love for and being a friend to the believers, especially strangers or foreigners, and be] a capable {and} qualified teacher,

Woe to those who rise early in the morning to run after their drinks, who stay up late at night till they are inflamed with wine. They have harps and lyres at their banquets, tambourines and flutes and wine, but they have no regard for the deeds of the LORD, no respect for the work of his hands (Isa. 5:11,12).

Let us behave decently, as in the daytime, not in orgies and drunkenness, not in sexual immorality and debauchery, not in dissension and jealousy. Rather, clothe yourselves with the Lord Jesus Christ, and do not think about how to gratify the desires of the sinful nature (Rom. 13:13,14).

It is better not to eat meat or drink wine or to do anything else that will cause your brother to fall (Rom. 14:21).

Taking a Nazarite vow makes one a true Nazarite. A Nazarite should also abstain from strong drink (wine containing alcohol). It is possible for Jesus to have been a Nazarite, due to the fact that he did abstain from drinking strong drink (wine containing alcohol). , which he would have to do in order to keep an Nazarite vow and he also would be not to put a razor to his head. Do Jesus would have long hair. then Elizabeth, John the Baptist’s mother was cautioned by an angel, as was Samson’s mother told to abstain from certain dietary no-no’s namely strong fermented grape juice and unclean meats. During the Jewish wedding, He Jesus had turned water into wine (pure grape juice-without fermentation). Yes we can be assured the Jesus still never ever consumed any alcohol even if Jesus did make the best wine in those days but it was a pure fresh grape juice , non alcoholic, it was unfermented,.

Again all Cops need to be judged with a higher standard cause they are also to be exemplary.. it seems they are very slow learners here too. All Law Enforcement officers are held to a higher standard of character and moral judgment and they all should live up to it or quit, get fired get another job.   When they fall short of any standards they should be fired and prosecuted, not suspended or given probation or moved to another desk. They cannot be retrained now too.  They should also have their “peace officer license” taken away.  Wrongfully too it’s not hard for a police officer who has a tarnished record to move to another town or even to another place to be a police officer

Most politicians, civil and public servants think the rules don’t apply to them.

OTTAWA – Federal procurement watchdog finds more evidence of rigged contracts. A federal watchdog is blowing the whistle again on a series of  cooked contracts. Frank Brunetta, the procurement ombudsman, says he found more evidence that  the Canada School of Public Service rigged contracts to make sure they went to  favoured suppliers.Today’s report looked into the way contracts were awarded to six  consultants, altogether worth more than a million dollars. He is also close family friends with the deputy mayor. As well, sitting councillor Ian Chadwick works as a contract employee for Bonwick’s lobbying and consulting firm, Compenso Communications. The complaints to police include concern that Bonwick was hired to represent a local group looking to bring a slot machine facility to town. The citizens also complained that he worked for PowerStream, which last year successfully bought a 50 per cent stake in Collingwood’s public utility company Collus. high-profile executives involved in the construction of the McGill University Superhospital are charged

Quebec’s anti-corruption task force suspects Porter and four high-profile  executives involved in the construction of the McGill University Superhospital  were part of a massive fraud conspiracy.UPAC issued arrest warrants Wednesday morning for Arthur Porter, Pierre  Duhaime, Riadh Ben Aissa, Yanai Elbaz , Jeremy Morris. UPAC confirmed  Wednesday that Elbaz – the former associate director general of the MUHC – is in  custody and will be charged Thursday. Duhaime — the former CEO of SNC-Lavalin – will turn himself in to Surete du  Quebec headquarters Thursday morning, He has already been charged with fraud. Ben  Aissa — another former executive at SNC-Lavalin — has already been arrested  and questioned by police for his possible role in other plots. All five are wanted for fraud, conspiracy to commit fraud, and related charges.

Montreal Mayor and Former city manager named as being corrupt at at the Charbonneau Commission inquiry

“ Michel Lalonde, the head of a prominent Montreal engineering firm, testifies at the Charbonneau Commission  that Robert Abdallah, The head of Montreal’s executive committee, the director of its public works department, the man in charge of financing the city’s most powerful political party – and now the former city manager  was involved in a system of collusion that allowed select companies to win municipal public works contracts in exchange for major cash donations and illegal kickbacks. 

Michel Lalonde, he also confirmed that he handed a cheque for $10,000 to Union Montreal political staffer Martin Dumont at a fundraising breakfast in 2004. The event was held in support of the “yes” campaign during the city’s 2004 demerger referendum, and then-Montreal mayor Gérald Tremblay was in attendance, Lalonde said. During his own time on the stand, Dumont maintained that he was given similar cheques from a number of engineering firms at the breakfast.

The engineer  Michel Lalonde, said his company gave thousands of dollars in illegal cash kickbacks to officials in Ahuntsic, Saint Leonard, Rivière des Prairies and Montreal North, among others.

At one point, Lalonde said, Ahuntsic borough manager Éric Lachapelle asked him for Montreal Canadiens season tickets – a request he quickly granted.

The cash donations always flowed more freely when Montreal was on the verge of a municipal election, Lalonde testified. In the months prior to the 2005 municipal race, for instance, he said RDP mayor Cosmo Maciocia asked him for $60,000 to support his campaign. Lalonde claimed he handed it over, as did several other firms.”

  • Lalonde said he gave $60,000 to former  Riviere-des-Prairies-Pointe-aux-Trembles mayor Cosmo Maciocia at his  request.
  • When Maciocia left politics, his successor, Joe Magri, also received $15  000.
  • Lalonde testified that the borough of Ahunstic-Cartierville also sought  payoffs and Canadiens season tickets as the price of doing business in the  borough.
  • In Saint-Leonard, former Liberal MNA and borough mayor Michel Bissonnet  apparently asked and received $2000.
  • In Montreal East, Mayor Yvon Labrosse received $5000 in illegal  contributions, Lalonde claimed.
  • In Montreal North, Lalonde said he sent $2000 to Mayor Gilles Deguire, a  former police man.
  • He also said he gave $1000 to Ile Bizard Mayor Richard Bélanger.

Lalonde said cash-hungry Union Montreal fundraisers still wanted more,  however, so Lalonde was forced to give $20,000 to the cash-strapped 2005 World  Aquatics Championships in exchange for contracts.

Lalonde’s payoffs extended well beyond Gerald Tremblay’s Union Montreal,  however, and beginning in 2008, he started paying attention to the opposition,  held by Vision Montreal.

Lalonde claims he was approached by a Vision Montreal fundraiser in 2008,  and eventually gave $25 000 cash to Benoit Labonté, who at the time was running  with Louise Harel.

“The steady stream of revelations before the Charbonneau inquiry makes it easy  to become bleary or blasé. But this week’s testimony deserves extra attention.  It contains the most disturbing disclosures yet.Here’s why.

Until now, we’ve learned that systemic collusion and corruption in public  works contracts have existed mostly at the level of the Mafia and those  construction companies whose business is generally confined to Quebec.

What Michel  Lalonde told the Charbonneau Commission on Thursday broadens our  understanding of systemic crime among contractors, and alarmingly so. He opened  what is not so much a can of worms as a barrel of snakes.

Lalonde, president of Génius Conseil (better known under its former name,  Groupe Séguin), served in effect as the coordinator of collusion among all —  repeat, all — of Quebec’s largest engineering-consulting firms. They include not  just SNC-Lavalin, often called the flagship of Québec Inc., but also CIMA+,  Dessau, Génivar, Roche, Tecsult and several others. They often subcontract work  to the previously implicated construction companies. Their leaders regularly  make the society pages,

Lalonde himself was not one of the big boys. That his company was smallish  made him, he explained, the cartel’s ideal emissary in dealing with Montreal  city hall — he could be relatively impartial. Between 2004 and 2009, he said, he  worked with the city’s then public works director (Robert Marcil), the then  treasurer of the ruling party, Union Montreal (Bernard Trépanier), and the then  executive-committee chair (Frank Zampino) to steer contracts to the appropriate  member of the cartel. Bribes would then go the supposedly neutral  contract-selection committee, composed of civil servants, so that it would  ratify the choice. Depending on its size, each cartel member allegedly  contributed either $100,000 or $200,000 in cash to Union Montreal in the 2005  election year, for a total of $1.3 million in illegal donations. The firms would  also kick back three per cent of their contracts to the party, Lalonde said (as  previous witnesses have said the construction companies also did).

To be sure, this isn’t the first time executives of these high-class  companies have been incriminated for local bid-rigging. Last fall, for example,  the  past president and a past vice-president of SNC-Lavalin were charged with  fraud in connection with their company’s supervision of the McGill  University Health Centre’s superhospital. In 2011, police  also charged two Roche executives for fraud in suburban Boisbriand. Here, according to Lalonde, we have companies representing the upper crust of  Quebec’s corporate world that:  Subvert local democracy by illegally swamping a political party’s electoral  war chest, with the result that when that party gains power it is beholden to  these corporations. Corrupt not only Montreal’s political structure but also the senior ranks of  Montreal’s supposedly neutral civil service. The City of Montreal’s new fraud squad

Follow the Money trail.. One of the oldest rule of journalism and why is that? Well according to Jesus himself now the love of money is the root of all evil.. and so it seems many of the politicians have entered into politics not to serve the good citizens but rather to try to get rich..

Montreal Mayor Michael Applebaum had recently now announced the creation of the $3-million-a-year unit that will investigate the majority of contracts awarded by the city.  But the Quebec Minister of Public Security Stéphane Bergeron says he was never even firstly consulted by the City of Montreal over the decision to create the city’s new fraud squad but only informed after the fact. And he rightfully  is concerned that the new unit set up to root out corruption in the city will firstly only duplicate the work of the province’s existing anti-corruption unit. The Charbonneau commission also now resumes public hearings   into corruption and collusion at the municipal level before tackling provincial government contracts. http://www.theglobeandmail.com/news/politics/quebec-surprised-skeptical-of-montreals-new-fraud-squad/article7450622/

For decades undeniably, at least 50 years white collared corruption has been wrongfully going rampant in the city of Montreal unchecked and the Montreal Police force, the Quebec Police force, RCMP  the past Quebec provincial Government, the federal governments, all had  failed to deal with these matters now adequately. After the new PQ Government started to address the issue .  Next finally  the City of Montreal decision to create the city’s new fraud squad  and even not to inform firstly even the Quebec Government is unacceptable. Now what is the real reasons now for the creation of this new  police force unit rather, the city of Montreal wants a heads up first of the police find anything so they can what bury it again? Or is the city of Montreal still hiding  anything’s it does not want the Quebec government to find out about? This seems very likely..  and yeah I know they all will still claim they are not guilty of anything.. like they have the last decades. So What!

None of the abuse of the taxpayers money is ever acceptable and any major abuse should not be only grounds for one’s dismissal from one’s job but it should also be a criminal, jailing offence always too….

THE FACT THAT no one within the RCMP had a comprehensive list of all of the Mounties who’d been disciplined, became undeniably  after CBC News asked for basic data between 2005 and 2008 that included offences and findings by internal adjudications boards. The CBC News submitted the request in November 2008. It was delivered four years later in November 2012. An officer who handled the file offered an embarrassed apology, and explained the delay was due to the list having to be created from scratch. The head of the RCMP admitted that Canada’s national police force neglected to keep tabs on hundreds of cases of serious misconduct committed by Mounties across the country for years. Commissioner Bob Paulson acknowledged that an access to information request by CBC News inadvertently revealed that not even senior leaders in the RCMP could say with confidence whether incidents of misconduct that include assaults, impaired driving and fraud were a problem in the force. The Quebec Liberals and City of Montreal now had the police looking in the wrong place too

Now  this year, the City of Montreal revealed, through an access to information request, that the student protests had cost the city more than $11.6 million in overtime just in the Month  of Aug. All this wasted expenditure  while major rampant corruption was being carried out next to the Justice center, police station all  unstopped and unchecked, the foxes in the Montreal City Hall were continuing to steal money from the taxpayers and City Hall executives, personnel falsely went along with it?

NOTHING HAS REALY CHANGED IN OTTAWA AND ELSEWHERE

NO ONE CARES ABOUT THE GOOD WELFARE OF THE CITIZENS AS HISTORY REPEATS  ITSELF AND CANADIANS FALSELY DIE AS A RESULT..

The Conservative government, under fire for its response to a massive beef  recall and E. coli scare, is planning to spend tens of millions of dollars less  this year on food safety programs at the Agriculture Department and Canadian  Food Inspection Agency than last year, new numbers from Parliament’s budget  watchdog indicate.

Experts for years have been warning about the possible problems with centralized mega slaughterhouses and packing plants, and self regulation in this industry.  Despite this fact, the Conservatives have forged ahead supporting those in Alberta who would create such centralized mega operations and did even let them have legalized self regulation. Now we see the results of such short sighthed Conservtive thinking at the Alberta XL Plant. . At the outbreak of Ecoli at the pXL plant  XL foods itself now did not follow at least six safety protocols. One dealt with E. coli controls in the plant, and the others focused on plant sanitation and maintenance issues.. Were else will the Conservative approach cause unnecessary death, pain and misery now too? The U.S. closed its border to shipments from the XL Foods plant in Brooks, Alta. after discovering E. coli in two samples of beef. It’s going to affect the whole beef industry.

The Conservative government said it had enough inspectors at the XL site but now it turns out that our federal Food safety agency can’t compel records from the companies so our Canadian Food Inspection Agency had long delays in getting records in this XL E. coli case . The Canadian Food Inspection Agency officials had asked the XL Foods plant in Brooks, Alta., for distribution information and test results for all products made on the same days as E. coli-tainted samples but only got some of these results days later.. they couldn’t get them right away. On Sept. 13, the CFIA banned XL Foods from shipping any more meat to the U.S. but wrongfully they didn’t alert the Canadian public until Sept. 16. The governments were even  too quick to assure Canadians their food was safe, in the face next of a major meat recall. Canadian Officials say they were alerted on Sept. 4 to a positive E. coli test in beef shipped to the United States, but recalls in Canada didn’t start until Sept. 16.

Despite having more than 46 inspectors providing oversight at the facility,  the first indications of the recent problems didn’t come to CFIA’s attention  until Sept. 4., when it learned of positive test results by American authorities  at the border. That same day, its own inspectors had a positive E. coli test in  a shipment sent from the Brooks facility to a small plant in Calgary.“Those first positives ought to have been a sign to the agency of the  potential for massive contamination,” the anonymous expert said.“They should have demanded that XL show them all the test results for  products from the same days immediately.

Canada’s food safety regime failed us.  Across the land Canadians are scrambling to empty store shelves and fridges of beef products in one of the biggest E. coli recall scares ever. Not just ground beef, but steaks, roasts, ribs, stewing beef, sausage — the list seems endless. More than 1.5 million pounds of the stuff has been recalled.Given the scope of the scare, Agriculture Minister Gerry Ritz’s claim that Canada’s food inspection system has done a “tremendous job” grows hollower by the day. The recall list has now swelled to include 1,100 products, and the number of cases of suspected food poisoning, while fortunately small, has also been growing. This is the minister who at one point thought that no potentially tainted beef had made it to store shelves. It did, all across North America, and now there’s worry in every province and territory and many states. “How did our food safety system fail so dramatically in this case?” “Why did it take so long for Ritz to warn Canadians and issue a recall? How have recent cuts to food inspectors affected Canada’s ability to avert such a crisis? How will we prevent cases like this from occurring in the future?” These are nothing more than the questions many are asking, as they discard their beef supplies. Suit filed against XL Foods An Edmonton man allegedly sickened by an E. coli-tainted steak has filed a class-action lawsuit against Alberta’s XL Foods, the beef manufacturer at the centre of the massive meat recalls across the country. The  lawsuit alleges that XL Foods processed beef products knowing it had poor quality control systems and that it put profits above the safety of consumers

Canada should retain the services of even more federal meat and food inspectors Canada wide in order to elevate  the quality of our food safety systems, arguing that this is only way to  effectively reduce the number of future Problems. The CFIA does not have the authority to compel the speedy  delivery of information from industry during an outbreak. Its only power is to  revoke a licence outright, which is what happened with XL Foods, in which the  CFIA clearly felt the information provided by XL Foods was unsatisfactory. Industry should be more forthcoming so the CFIA can properly manage risks to  safeguard the integrity of our food safety program. All the well known now and clearly bad politicians, civil and public servants, even bad pastors  still deny their own guilt, but that realy now is no surprise,for it would be a surprise rather if they had admitted it. They still have clearly lost the respect of many citizens still.

It is also  COMMON  fact of life, particularly amongst the CROOKS, OR the  young, inexperienced persons  who cannot handle serious , heavy negative realties that false denial, ostrich approach is a serious part of their make up, and their related defense protection when you cannot discredit the facts, you try to make a still fatal , false personal attack on the writer, accusers instead. 
Denial of the reality, of the truth, of one’s exposure it is very very common even amongst so called professionals, even in pastors now included, when many an individual are asked to repent of their own wrong disclosed doings. One’s false denial here can be a very false disregard for facts and circumstances and a more subtle expression of ones unreal personal preferences, their now very much delusional world of fantasy. These people in false denial are the ones who often need professional help for their sickness even because they do falsely refuse to admit, to see their own bad points, and they wrongfully, clearly down to let all other persons falsely to believe they are some kind of gods, perfectionists, even persons who themselves cannot be challenged, questioned. This is more absurdity on their parts. There is no such thing as living in a world in which individuals are not being judged by others for the actions that they take or what they say or who they associate with too. Making a statement such as “you cannot judge me” is ludicrous.

IT IS A TOO COMMON FALSELY DENIED KNOWLEDGE THESE DAYS THAT THE POLICE, RCMP, MINISTERS, GOVERNMENT CONSULTANTS THESE DAYS, EVEN IMMIGRANT CONSULTANTS TOO IT SEEMS , SEEM TO BE ANOTHER WORD FOR ABUSERS, THIEVES, LIARS CROOKS. AND WE ALL NEED TO DEAL WITH IT MORE EFFECTIVELY NOW TOO. I EXPECT MOSTLY ALL OF THE CROOKS TO TAKE AN OSTRICH APPROACH AND TO  FALSELY DENY WHO THEY ARE CAUSE THEY DO NOT WANT TO LOSE THE PROFITABILITY OF THEIR BAD ACTS NOW TOO. And their own false Denial will not change the facts or their own eventual negative consequences too. Wrongful inactions, Cover ups, False denial of bad politicians, bad cops, bad persons, false pastors, false priests are much too common always but nevertheless they do EVENTUALLY get exposed, revealed to all as to what they are often now like too, and get what they deserve, and not the first or last time.. THEY ALSO DO even personally now find out next as a direct result too THAT A GOOD NAME IS WORTH MORE THAN ANY SILVER OR GOLD THEY HAD ACQUIRED..

When we all still do not like to be rebuked or exposed to all. Our tendancy of  Revenge and anger tends to amplify our worst  tendencies but we all do still need a  stark reminder that all persons now  can still be and will be accountable  for what they do, say, in governments, churches, in the open, online or  otherwise. Ministers, leaders, Pastors, elders, individuals included.

“The owner Lino Zambito, former head of bankrupt Infrabec construction, a now-defunct construction company has singled out one of the most powerful officials in Montreal city hall as being on the take said that former director general Robert Abdallah may have been receiving kickbacks.

Zambito said that when Infrabec was repairing sewer systems on Sherbrooke St., Abdallah ordered him to buy pipes he did not need from Tremca Group, or else he would lose the contract. Zambito argued that it was cheaper and more effective to pour concrete directly on location, but in the end agreed to buy the expensive pre-fabricated pipes, as long as Infrabec was paid extra for the unnecessary work and supplies. “If you want the project to go ahead, the pipes have to be bought form Tremca at the price you were told,” said Zambito. “We will pay you and the difference of $300,000 in the pipes, it’s the amount the men from Tremca, Mr. Caron, will have to pay Mr. Abdallah so that the project is approved by the City of Montreal.” Abdallah was center of federal scandal Abdallah resigned from his post in 2006 under a cloud of suspicion. The Federal Government, and Prime Minister Stephen Harper’s former Director of Communications, Dmitri Soudas, tried to have Abdallah hired as president of the Port of Montreal in 2007. Audio recordings obtained by the Globe and Mail and Radio-Canada showed construction company leaders Antonio ‘Tony’ Accurso and Bernard Poulin saying that Soudas was “the real boss of Quebec” and could get Abdallah named to the post. Abdallah was eventually hired by Gastier Construction, another firm owned by Accurso.

The sheer scope of the power once held by Mafia boss Vito Rizzuto has been hinted at in testimony at Quebec’s corruption inquiry. According to the testimony  he once helped decide who built the roads in Quebec. A construction boss says that when there was a dispute over who should win a certain bid for roadwork, he was invited to a restaurant owned by his competitor. Sitting there, acting as mediator: the head of Canada’s Cosa Nostra.

Rizzuto was also an arbitrator Zambito also said that in many cases, Vito Rizzuto had acted as a dispute-settler between construction firms, at one point telling Zambito that his company lacked the experience necessary to rebuild Acadie Circle. Antonio Accurso, whose company won the Transport Quebec bid to rebuild the Acadie Circle, issued a written statement denying all of Zambito’s allegations. Accurso said that he never had any disagreement with Zambito, that he never asked Rizzuto to intervene on any aspect of the Acadie Circle bid, and that he never had a meeting with Rizzuto and Zambito. The Acadie Circle has flooded half a dozen times since it was rebuilt in 2004.

At the Charbonneau Commission Zambito has testified that many people working in Montreal’s City Hall were corrupt, with senior employees demanding a cut of municipal contracts. Zambito testified on Monday that he had paid $400,000 to two people as part of the price necessary to win municipal contracts. On Tuesday the Commission said it will analyze 70 separate contracts awarded by the city of Montreal.

Zambito  made stunning disclosures about how construction companies colluded to divvy up city ( of Montreal)  work among them and rig the prices of contract bids. A further one per cent cut, Zambito said Monday, was paid to the city engineer who approved contracts. There was a running joke that the official claimed a one per cent “GST” — the name being a tongue-in-cheek twist on the French-language acronym for the federal sales tax. It was apparently named for, and by, engineer Gilles Surprenant, according to Zambito.  Montreal City Hall’s opposition leaders called for Tremblay to resign.
