The other unacceptable Malaise
Unless we are deliberate ostriches by now we all should know about shit disease.. what happens when people, doctors and nurses do not wash their hands in hospitals.. people die. http://thenonconformer.wordpress.com/2012/09/01/shit-disease-c-difficile-or-what-ever/
The other unacceptable Malaise is sweeping refuse, shit under the rug.. the civil servant managers serious, personal failure to deal with ther unacceptable, crooked, dishonest, thieving subordinates rather than disposing of them, firing them, putting then into the garbage bins is still needed as some people only learn to do good the hard way, when they feel real negative repercussions. I strongly suggest we get rid of these bad managers, firstly, immediately, all bad cops included..
- Canada Border Services Agency is merely documenting cases of travellers complaints of enduring rude behaviour and lengthy interrogations, as well as one case where someone was falsely identified as a person “with criminal ties but here too real action is needed ASAP too..
- A suspicious number of federal contracts for goods and services appear rigged to favour one bidder, suggests another survey. The report, from the contracting watchdog at Public Works, provides further evidence of problems even with the Harper government’s credibility.. Remember when full accountability was the once promised word for His election? http://www.theglobeandmail.com/news/politics/watchdogs-report-suggests-problems-remain-with-federal-procurement/article4515095/
- Niagara Police need to effectively deal with serious allegations of steroid use and drug smuggling involving their own officers in the wake of an arrest of one constable Const. Geoff Purdie, a decorated 13-year veteran of the force and a former police instructor at a local college by U.S. authorities in April. A U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement agent charged Purdie with conspiracy to export and distribute controlled substances after tracking Purdie’s repeated trips from Fort Erie into Niagara Falls, N.Y., to pick up packages which, according to U.S. investigators, were sent to a private mail box filled with drugs.
and the list goes on and on..
The Conservative government has quietly given Canada’s national police force and the federal border agency the authority to use and share information that was likely extracted through torture well they should listen also to the citizens complaints.

Anyone doubt the oil producers and sellers are greedy hogs?
You can tell this by their continual price increases, often not justified..
The Alberta and federal governments have said the Oil sand pipeline is crucial to building new markets for the country’s resources. But environmental, aboriginal and social action groups say the risks of a pipeline rupture or oil tanker spill are too great. Money the root of all evil is evident here too..
Can it get worse.. yes! What about the hydraulic fracturing (“fracking”) attempts to free trapped natural gas deposits. It’s fiercely opposed by environmentalists , and they also now rightfuly do even oppose the development of Canada’s oilsands, because of real, legimate concerns, causes other major environmental damage, also pollutes the undergound waters and also the rivers next too, concerns include environmental effects on air and water quality, and the risk of oil spills. Concerns even that fracking increases methane concentrations in underground water tables.. concerns that the oil transporters would never aaccount for every “little oops”, or big oil spills in the BC wilderness and elsewhere.
Now the cost of the oil sands production and transportation is overall horrendous and filled with risks of serious environmental damages… existing oil piplines alread leak too often.. Canada’s oil sands now also do require more energy to extract and refine crude, and that means a greater release of greenhouse gases than from refining conventional oil. The oil industry is a multi-billion transnational industry backed by a C anadian Tory government that will peddle the tarsands to any foreign buyer who will bite.
“Plus, there is no guarantee that jobs created from pipelines will be safe, well-paying, and permanent. In the tarsands, multinational corporations prefer cheap, exploitable, and disposable labour, especially migrant workers. Last year, the Petroleum Human Resources Council sought an additional 100,000 migrant workers to work on tarsands infrastructure. Much like the tragic legacy of Chinese railway workers, the deaths of two Chinese migrant workers in 2007 is a sober reminder of the dangers of this industry to the land and workers alike.
Prime Minister Stephen Harper and Natural Resource Minister Joe Oliver have also now been taken to task recently for their false distortions, diversions, their desperate theories aboutall those radical foreign environmentalists and the socialists, billionaires hijacking the Enbridge Oil Pipleine Joint Review Panel hearings.
The $5.5-billion proposed Enbridge Northern Gateway pipeline would cross 1,000 rivers and streams, including the Fraser and Skeena headwaters. Supertankers, with capacity of up to two million barrels of oil, would criss-cross along coastal waters. The 1,172-kilometre pipeline would also impact the Great Bear Rainforest, one of the last intact temperate coastal rain forests on our planet and the only home to the rare spirit bear. Enbridge has reported a total of 610 spills between 1999 and 2008 from its various projects. The proposed pipeline traverses the territories of 65 first nations, of which at least 61 have declared their opposition. “http://www.vancouversun.com/news/canada-in-afghanistan/Enbridge+pipeline+distortions/6016517/story.html
Prime Minister Stephen Harper’s Conservatives and the pro-oilsands website EthicalOil.org take Canadian environmental groups to task for accepting money from big American foundations to finance their campaigns against the oilsands. Natural Resources Minister Joe Oliver accused “environmental and other radical groups” of trying to use money from “foreign special-interest groups” to hijack hearings on a pipeline that would bring Alberta oilsands bitumen to a port on the British Columbia coast. But the Canadian government seems to have no qualms accepting grant money from private U.S. foundations — including some of the same organizations that gave to Canadian environmental groups.

Chiefs: asked for toilets, got pails
..They asked for bathrooms, or at least porta-potties, and they got five-gallon pails.
Chiefs representing First Nations from the Island Lake area of northern Manitoba held a press conference Thursday to lament Ottawa’s response to immediate, short-term help while they discuss how to hook the communities up with running water and proper sewage in the long term.
“They agreed to help us with short-term solutions. Their solutions are slop pails and 45-gallon drums. That’s not acceptable,” said Chief Dino Flett, of the Garden Hill First Nation. “In some houses, 15 people have to use that slop pail. That’s not safe. That’s not healthy.”
Chiefs from the Island Lake area bands met with Indian and Northern Affairs Canada last December to discuss ways of addressing the lack of water and sewage infrastructure in their remote communities.
Among the chiefs’ immediate, short-term solutions were plans for porta-potty style biffies with holding tanks that could be emptied, or alternatively centralized, communal washrooms, showers and laundry facilities.
What INAC sent was 999 slop pails — five-gallon pails that are meant to be makeshift indoor toilets — as well as about 800 water barrels, and a water and sewage truck for each community, although with no permanent provision for maintenance, operating costs or fuel for the trucks.

Wow! A judge disagrees with the RCMP’s own findings
A Saanich, B.C., police officer was “grossly negligent” in the shooting death of a Victoria man, a B.C. Supreme Court judge has ruled in awarding the man’s family $354,000 in damages.
Saanich Const. Kristopher Dukeshire shot Majencio Camaso, 33, three times as he charged at the officer carrying a steel pipe and crowbar in July 2004.
Dukeshire had arrived at the man’s home in the community near Victoria in response to a 911 call from his wife, Theresa Camaso, who told police that her mentally ill husband had threatened to set their apartment on fire.
An external RCMP investigation of the shooting found the use of force reasonable and no criminal charges were laid against Dukeshire.
Theresa Camaso launched a lawsuit against the three Saanich police officers who had responded to her 911 call, former police chief Derek Egan, the District of Saanich and a paramedic at the scene.
Justice Grant Burnyeat disagreed with the conclusions of the RCMP probe, writing in his ruling that, “Dukeshire breached the duty of care owed to Mr. Camaso when he did not use the least amount of force necessary to carry out his duties.”
Burnyeat said he found Dukeshire’s actions “grossly negligent.” http://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/british-columbia/story/2011/04/13/bc-saanich-camaso-ruling.html

Canada a Police state? and who says it is not? The dictatorial Politicians who send their watchdogs against the citizens. Do not have a false impression that the Police are here to serve their masters, the citizens in Canada, for firstly they serve themselves and next they solely serve their political masters who make their police budgets . https://thenonconformer.wordpress.com/2010/07/04/canada-a-police-state/
Fact! Free speech right in Canada is controlled and is mainly for the cops and the establishment and if you did not know that already too,
Police state is in, freedom went out as even Toronto, Canada went into the police state security modes. Did we really need all those cops there now? What could they not have done it all as well with half the numbers? Just cause there are a few bad guys amongst the citizens too, not just in the civil and public services, it is still not a false excuse to now again oppress, deny the citizens their nights.. http://thenonconformer.wordpress.com/2009/11/23/inevitable-reality/ http://thenonconformer.wordpress.com/2009/05/20/going-overboard-with-the-law-2/
Bad cops at it again.. THERE ARE MUCH TOO MANY BAD COPS IN CANADA -FIRE THEM ALL NOW No cop is above the law. Too bad for them they are paid to work still too. Police still fail to catch most of the real criminals including the car thieves, and the Fraud perpetrated over the Internet which still is a growing citizen concern in Canada and throughout the world. The police always claim they lack resources, they will never have enough resources if they reuse to do a decent days work for their pay. http://postedat.wordpress.com/2009/03/24/the-police-cannot-get-the-crimminals/
So for decades even the Alberta police forces already have had a file on me and likley you as well if you complain about the bad guys, the police and the bad politicians included. Canada wide Police brutality, suppression of rights, or the excessive force against non white males, females is also not new. http://thenonconformer.wordpress.com/2009/08/08/hidden-municpal-police-taxes/
Needless to say police resources are often misused where even the mayors do instruct the police to find out all they can about their opposition members too. ” and it all is still unacceptable! Free speech is a right for bullies, crooks, abusers only it still seems in Canada now. Police already have arrested me for complaining about the Calgary Police in the Calgary Police chief office even.. the charge was talking out loud in a public place.. Many people are shocked to discover free speech is not being allowed too often in many places in Canada, on the net, in churches, letters to governments, to the news editors too… the police have visited me or objected now at least 7 times in response to my writings.. still decades later I am still rightfully openly complaining about the much too many bad police supervisors and the too many bad acts of the so called professionals, the police included. The abuse of the citizens is not acceptable anywhere.
“A new Alberta police database will track citizen’s every interaction with police, and it can be used without a warrant or even a supervisor’s permission”.. they had an old system already do doing this too.. http://fullcomment.nationalpost.com/2011/02/14/kevin-libin-alberta%E2%80%99s-dangerous-database/
The new law, introduced in Parliament on Tuesday, will require Internet companies – Internet service and email providers, as well as content hosting and social networking sites – to report to a designated agency tips they receive about child porn activities through their facilities and to notify police when they believe criminal traffic in child porn is occurring. They will be required to preserve evidence as well. There’s already a voluntary system like this in place among major Internet service providers in Canada but this makes the practices mandatory for all. Internet service providers don’t monitor the content of traffic so the system will continue to rely on tips and complaints. This in itself won’t make a big dent in the torrent of child porn swill available worldwide but it will give police and anti-child porn agencies such as Cybertip.ca some more chances to pick up the threads of networks and rings, and possibly even to rescue a few more children from horrific situations. The Internet has transformed modern life in many positive ways. The explosion of electronic child porn is the outstanding example of the cost of this. If some principles of privacy and freedom have to be qualified to reduce that cost to the children of the world, so be it. http://www.capebretonpost.com/index.cfm?sid=305781&sc=151
Federal government introduces mandatory child porn reporting legislation By Michael Geist
The bill shares similarities with provincial laws (ie. Ontario) and those that report under the provincial law are exempt from the federal version. While few will criticize a bill targeting child pornography – everyone agrees that child pornography is abhorrent and we need to ensure that we have laws to deal with the problem – it is hard to see what this bill actually accomplishes. Canada already has:
• an online child pornography tip service that receives thousands of tips
• ISPs that block access to child pornography images
• some of the toughest child pornography laws in the world
• numerous examples of child pornography arrests
• law enforcement focused on child pornography virtually to the exclusion of all other online issues
Further, while there are reports that Canada is a source of child pornography websites, a major European-based study concluded that focusing on the World Wide Web and blocking content makes little sense in trying to combat child pornography (the same report found that image blocking initiatives like the Canadian Project Cleanfeed are ineffective). Instead, the real problems lies in dissemination of child pornography in newsgroups, private groups, and other private spaces that fall largely outside the potential for tips envisioned by Bill C-58 or Canada’s Project Cleanfeed.
Michael Geist is a law professor and the Canada Research Chair in Internet and e-commerce law at the University of Ottawa. http://www.straight.com/article-271907/vancouver/federal-government-introduces-mandatory-child-porn-reporting-legislation
Giving more money to the police does not increase justice rather it tends to make a police state instead..
