B.C. government MLA confesses to drunk-driving

 

BC government MLA faces drunk-driving charges North Vancouver-Seymour MLA Jane Thornthwaite apologized for her behaviour.“My actions were inexcusable. Drinking and driving is dangerous and completely unacceptable; I know that and make no excuses for what I did,” the statement read.

“I apologize to my family, my friends, my colleagues and especially my constituents who put their faith in me. I failed to meet the standards I set for myself as a mother and as a public official.”

The B.C. Liberal MLA, who has three children, was driving home at about 1 a.m. on Tuesday when she was stopped at a North Vancouver RCMP road check.

A spokesman for the RCMP said a 51-year-old female driver came to their attention – he would not confirm it was Ms. Thorthwaite – and the driver provided a breath sample that indicated her blood alcohol level was over the legal limit of .08 per cent.

Ms. Thornthwaite did not return calls Tuesday but a government official said her blood alcohol level was measured at .11 per cent. She has not yet been charged but in her statement said she expects charges to be laid. She promised to “ work hard to regain the trust of my constituents in light of this serious mistake.”

If you believe her here you are as drunk as she was driving. Once an alcoholic, always an alcoholic it seems. You know I get a kick out of those lying spin  doctors,  police officers, bad cops, union representatives, police lovers, bad PERSONS   who STILL DO say that ALL OF  bad people, INCLUDING the ALCOHOLICS, the bad cops and their bad supervisors too they  can always be rehabilitated, retrained.. and how many millions of them now has this happened to them.. almost none.. a bad apple tends to get worse.. The RCMP maximum 10 days punishment is always absurd, permanent dismissal is what is always needed with the bad cops and their clearly bad superiors who had managed and hired them too.. Bad solicitor generals as well should be fired ASAP. NOW WHY IS IT BAD PEOPLE DO NOT CHANGE NEXT BESIDE THE FACT THE LIKE TO DO BAD THINGS, IT IS ALSO CAUSE THEY FALSELY  REFUSE TO ADMIT THE THINGS THEY DO ARE BAD.

Harper was at the game in Vancouver but Obama did not make an appearance at the Olympics. The prime minister met with the gold medal winners in the locker room after the game to congratulate them. “

I ALSO REMEMBER WHEN THE LYING US PRESIDENTIAL CANDIDATE OBAMA SUPPORTER HAD SAID THAT CHRISTIAN OBAMA DOES NOT DRINK ALCOHOL..
